I absolutely love this place!!! This was the second place I tried on dresses and I cancelled my third appointment because we found the dress and it was perfect! I worked with Tina who was so thoughtful and helpful during the process. She made sure to keep us within budget and let us browse all the dresses and try on as many as I wanted. She was so great with picking out different styles as well to be sure I picked the best for my body type! They make you feel so special when you are there and the one-on-one time is such a great memory to have. Of course when I thought I found the right dress, I put it back on a second time, put on a veil and faux flowers to feel complete and starting crying!!! We celebrated with a picture and champagne. To make it even better, a few weeks later I had a wedding shower and all my bridesmaids were in town and Mia was so kind enough to let us come by before the store opened so all the girls could see me in the sample dress of the gown I chose so they could see it before the wedding day! They did not have to do that but were so kind and generous to offer and I am so thankful.
Once the dress and veil came in, I was so excited to go try it on and see my actual dress. I put in on and didn't want to take it off! Thank you so much for helping me find the perfect dress!!!

I originally found my Rita Vinieris gown at Kleinfeld's in New York City but wanted to try it at home in Houston. From saying yes, to getting the gown in and ordering the veil, Mia was easy to work with! The salon was pretty and peaceful and made our appointments fun! And we got champagne when I said yes to the dress. Definitely a great experience.

Everyone at Mia was so helpful! I found my dress, veil, earrings, and belt. I ordered everything that day and received it 3 months later(2 months before it was supposed to come in)!! Perfect timing! They don't provide alterations but will give you a list of preferred locations.

I went into Mia Bridal with the intention of simply trying on dresses because I had never done so before and I walked out after purchasing a beautiful princess cut, ball gown dress. They had a very wide range of styles, which made it very hard to choose. However, my consultant was very helpful and engaging with my indecisiveness self. They were all very kind and personable and I feel that their dresses were very reasonably priced. They have also sent me follow up emails as to when my dress will come in. I would definitely recommend a friend to try on dresses and purchase there!

The people at Mia were absolutely amazing to work with. They made our initial experience very fun, enjoyable, and productive. They followed my budget and pulled gorgeous gowns that fell within our price point. I went elsewhere to take a look at dresses and realized Mia had THE dress for me. When I went back to try it on one more time and make a purchase, they still honored the 10% off that they originally offered on our first visit. My dress was absolutely exquisite and I received countless compliments throughout the day. I cannot recommend Mia Bridal enough! You won't regret the experience and you'll be able to look at affordable yet gorgeous, well made gowns!

So happy I found my dream dress at Mia Bridal Couture! Mia was my first stop in wedding dress shopping and their service and dresses didn’t compare to the other four shops I looked at. Never once was I pressured into buying a dress even with a discount if I bought the day of. From the moment I walked in I felt at ease and everyone in the shop were friendly and very accommodating. I wish I could remember the name of the girl that helped me choose my dress because she was Amazing! Can’t say enough good things about Mia, I highly recommend checking them out!

I have to be honest and hope this review is helpful to someone. My budget for my dress was $5000. My sister took me to this beautiful bridal shop. I was thinking I wasn't gonna find anything because my budget usually can't afford my taste, but I did. The staff was awesome! These ladies were friendly and funny. They were knowledgable, and they seemed almost as excited as I was. I tried on five gowns. They were all pretty, but they just didn't do it for me. I went back to the racks, and I pulled a dress that truly didn't look flattering at all on the hanger. I tried it on, and holy moly, it was the dress! I felt like I was on that tv show, only without the cameras. They "jacked" me up, and they let me keep it on as long as I wanted to. My sister took pictures and Facetimed my mother, who could not be there with me. It took 6 months for my dress to arrive to the store. They notified me by phone and by email. When I went to pick up my dress, I got to model it again while we inspected it to make sure it was perfect. They also had my veil and my belt ready. Not only did I find THE DRESS, I had a great time doing it. Mia Bridal Couture made me feel like a princess, and I will forever appreciate them for making this very special time in my life awesome.

My mom lives out of state, and I really wanted to find a dress when she was in town. I'm so glad I booked an appointment with Mia. The shop was beautiful, and Lauren was such a pleasure to work with--she had a great instinct for what would look good on me--I had a long list of things I thought I wanted in a dress, and she pulled several dresses that fit my list, but she also found a few that were totally different, and I ended up loving one of those--the first one I tried on. I went to another appointment that day, but did not get the same professional experience and respect for my budget. I was so pleased I found my dress at Mia.

Mia Bridal Couture was more than just a wedding dress shop--it was an experience! I went to quite a few different dress shops around Houston, but none came close to measuring up to Mia and I cannot say enough good things about them! The place really makes you feel like a bride. They were so helpful and patient and truly wanted me to find the perfect dress! One thing I really appreciated was they were VERY mindful of my budget. Once I found the dress, they put a veil on me, gave me a bouquet, and popped some champagne! It was really exciting!! Go to Mia!!!

This salon is terrific! The staff is attentive, friendly, knowledgable and very polished. Every consultant is top-notch and the gown selection is unbelievable. If you want couture, and want to feel like a princess while dress shopping, this salon is certainly for you. While the gown that I chose was in the mid-price range region, the salon has gowns priced at $2,500 upwards to $10,000 so you're guaranteed to find a stunning, couture piece that matches not only your expectations, but your budget as well. I can't speak highly enough about the service that my fiancé and I received here. The staff genuinely cares about your happiness and won't stop until they find the gown for you. If you're dress shopping in Houston, save yourself the hassle of visiting other salons. Mia Bridal is the only one you need to make an appointment at. You'll find your dress and make some amazing friends in the process.

Jill and her team are absolutely fantastic. I was struggling between which style of wedding dress I wanted and Jill was incredibly patient and helpful. I absolutely love the dress that I chose and loved that it wasn't something I had seen a lot of at other bridal salons. My mother also had a million questions about the different dresses/fabrics, as well as asking vendor recommendations for other aspects of the wedding and Jill was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in answering all of them If you want spectacular service and a variety of gorgeous gowns and different styles to choose from, Mia Bridal Couture is the place to go.

Mia Bridal Couture was my favorite bridal salon I went to in Houston. Unlike some of the other salons I went to Mia Bridal appeared much more knowledgable and helpful in selecting the perfect dress for my wedding day. Emily worked with me and was very helpful, she always was checking to make sure that I was comfortable with what I was trying on and which dress I liked the best. I highly recommend Mia Bridal Couture, and Emily, they helped me find the perfect dress and made the entire experience wonderful.

If you want a top-notch dress buying experience, Mia is the place to go. They only allow two clients trying on dresses in the store at a time, so you'll be getting the attention you need and deserve as you look for your wedding dress. That kind of individualized attention makes dress shopping so much less daunting.

To be honest, I walked in the store expecting to buy a very different dress than the one I bought. However, listening to the staff at Mia, as well as the trunk sale guy who was there for Rivini that day, I ended up with a dress that made me look and feel more amazing than anything I've ever worn (or probably ever will wear again). They helped me add straps to a strapless dress for a custom look, and they were so gracious in the process (as you might expect when you're dropping that much money).

Trying on a dress with strangers makes you feel vulnerable. Paying a bajillion dollars for something that you will only wear once makes you feel ridiculous. Standing in front of your friends and family like some kind of dress-up doll makes you feel uncomfortable. I felt NONE of these emotions at Mia. They're amazing.

Some observations: many of the dresses will take about 8 months to come in, so shop with that in mind. Also be cognizant of their price points when you go in (if you want to spend less than $2,000 on a dress, this probably isn't the vendor for you).

The dress that was selected was from a designer who was producing their first wedding line - the dress was a runway sample which ended up having some variance once the line was produced. Although the dress was still a gorgeous dress, it was not the sample that was ordered, and Mia went above and beyond working with the designer again for a re-do followed by joining us at the high end alterations professional to ensure we reached a point of satisfaction with the dress again. Mia made sure their customer was more than satisfied - they took part to ensure the dress was perfect again.

I absolutely LOVED working with Erin and the other girls at Mia Bridal Couture! They were so professional and so considerate of my needs and budget. I had been to a few bridal shops before landing on my perfect wedding gown at Mia, and none of them even held a light to the atmosphere at Mia. They were very kind and accommodating. My mom and I had an appointment "just to look" and ended up falling in love with a drop-waist Paloma Blanca gown in champagne (one of my wedding colors)! The girls let us FaceTime with my sister who couldn't be there in person. It was a great experience!

Phenomenal experience at Mia! I knew as soon as I entered their beautiful boutique I would be successful there. The whole experience was very luxe. I loved working with my consultant I really felt she understood my vision. Found a dress that was exactly what I was looking for and it arrived early. I had no problems at all with order or pickup. From the moment I walked into Mia Bridal to book an appointment to try on dresses, I knew this is where I would find my dress. I purchased a simple, understated fit-and-flared Rivini from Mia (with the help of a representative named Erin).
Erin was helpful, insightful and honest. She was instrumental in the finding/purchase of my wedding dress and the beautiful floor length mantilla veil. I am incredibly grateful for her expertise and contribution to my wedding dress shopping experience.
There was a snafu which threatened anticipated dress arrival date—the dress failed quality controls.
The atelier handled this tastefully. Mia affords quality gowns and professional services. I recommend!

Mia Bridal is the best boutique in Houston! I was very indecisive about my dress and they were so patient with me. After visiting several boutiques in Houston and Atlanta, I came back to Mia Bridal during a Watters trunk show and found my dream dress. Jill at Mia Couture SAVED OUR DAY! Our daughter ordered a beautiful Watters gown and cathedral length veil from Mia Bridal Couture. The experience was excellent, start to finish. The store is quaint and tastefully designed and their gowns are phenomenal. I told friends after our shopping experience that with my next daughter, MIA Couture is wear we will shop.
So, how did they SAVE OUR DAY? 3 hours before my daughter's wedding we realized her veil was still at the alteration lady's shop (not affiliated with Mia Couture). We had picked up her gown 2 days prior to the wedding after being pressed etc...and the veil did not get in the bag. Our fault, we did not realize our oversight until 3 hours before. We could not reach alterations lady, as they had closed early that day. In a complete panic I called Jill at Mia and she LOANED us a floor sample veil to use. I wanted to pay for the veil and she would not accept my money. Mia Bridal Couture has a customer for life!!

These designer gowns are a bit pricey but they are well worth it the girls there were very nice and helpful!!! The only bad thing about the place is that you have to get alterations somewhere else they dont do any!

When I walked in to the boutique I was taken back by how beautiful it was. I loved the white atmosphere they created. When looking through the dresses I knew that I would find exactly what I wanted because their dresses were not the common dress and they had great prices. Finally after 20 mins I found my dress and walked out of there very happy.

I purchased my wedding gown from Mia Bridal Couture, and I enjoyed the entire experience! The bridal shop has a boutique feel with nice decor and comfortable seating. My consultant, Tina, really listened to what I wanted and tried to stay within my budget. She brought out a wide variety of gowns for me to try, even those I would not have considered. Tina was knowledgeable and fun to work with. She made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She was also a great stylist and provided helpful suggestions regarding jewelry to compliment my dress. Everyone was friendly and there was no sales pressure. I went to four other bridal shops before I finally found my dress at Mia Bridal Couture. I would highly recommend!

I felt very much at home at Mia. They were as helpful as you wanted them to be in trying on dresses and encouraging, patient and honest with feedback. I dealt with so many people and they all were fantastic. First I visited with a friend and we both had a blast. A month later I returned with my Mother and she could not stop raving about the service. Jill, the owner, helped us purchase THE dress and veil and referred us to Brickhouse Bridal for special savings on our bridesmaid dresses. I felt like a princess while at Mia and again on my wedding day almost a year later. Thank you!!

I had an amazing experience at Mia Bridal. I will recommend this store to all of my friends!

Mia was the 2nd shop out of the three that I visited and my experience here far exceeded that of the other 2 bridal stores I went to. Half of the reason I went with the dress that I did, was due to the calming and enjoyable atmosphere that I experienced at Mia. At the first store I visited, I felt the consultant wasn't as helpful/knowledgeable and the at the third store the consultants were just WAY too pushy and I was stressed out at the appointment.

Rachel was my consultant and I loved her! I had some dresses in mind that I wanted to try on going into my appointment, but I ended up getting a dress by a designer I had never heard of that Rachel had shown me. I really liked that she let me form my own opinion about the dress before saying anything and that she would ask me what I liked and didn't like about the dress. She was super helpful without being loud and pushy. My mom, my sister and I had so much fun during my appointment and at the follow up appointment when I picked up my dress!

Tip: I am so glad that I booked by appointment early in the morning (9:30am). The store wasn't very busy and there was plenty of available mirrors and space for me to walk around in the dresses I was trying on. When I came back in at 2:30 to officially say yes to the dress, the store was packed with people who had brought large parties with them and was very loud & crowded. I would recommend booking your bridal appointments earlier in the day if you can help it!

Mia is a gorgeous dress shop that makes it feel special to try wedding dresses on. It may feel small, but there are plenty of well edited gowns to choose from. The ladies are helpful and sweet (I would definitely make an appointment though) throughout the entire process, and Mary was like a momma bear since my mom couldn't be there to pick my dress out. Mary even suggested a gorgeous embellished Lazarus belt that made all the difference in the look of my dress. Prices are mid to high for gowns, but every dress in there is worth the price. I felt like a million bucks in my $3,500 dress!

I live in Brazil and was purchasing a dress in Houston because our wedding was in Houston. The experience that I had trying on the dress in September of 2010 was very lovely, and I had a lot of fun with Mary helping me try on dresses. We found the perfect dress!

I was informed it would be delivered in late February 2011 for our April 2011 wedding. In January, the team at Mia informed me that my dress had arrived early, and I emailed the response to let them know that I had scheduled my trip to Houston for the end of February, per our original discussion and would be there then to pick up my dress.

My mom lives in Kansas and hadn't been able to be involved in the process, so that weekend that I went to pick up my dress, I invited my mom to join me for the dress fitting. She is somewhat terrified of flying, so it was a big deal for her to join me for the weekend! When we arrived at the dress shop and I had gone back into the dressing room, the dress bag was opened, and GASP, it was the wrong dress.

I thought it couldn't be real, but then we found out on the following Monday, that the wrong dress number had been entered into the computer, and indeed the wrong dress had been ordered.

The team at Mia Bridal Couture worked with Jim Hjelm in NY over the next 6 weeks to get the dress to Houston in time for our wedding. Thankfully, they were able to accomplish this, and I was able to have the dress of my dreams for my one big day.

They were professional throughout the process of fixing their mistake, and they informed me that they would cover any rush alteration fees. However, when I went to get the dress altered, at the shop that they had recommended, there were no rush fees. So, in the end, I got the dress, but felt duped with respect to this promise of covering extra costs.

All in all, it is a beautiful shop, and I enjoyed the experience of picking out the dress there. That being said, I would not wish this stress of not knowing whether or not you will have the dress you dreamed of for your big day on any bride. The last weeks of details are already stressful enough without one of the biggest parts of the wedding, the dress, remaining uncertain.

This place is quite avarage. It is very expensive and they are not always worth the money. They ordered a gown of size 6, and I told them that is sounded a bit too big for me. They ensured me they knew what they were doing, and not to worry because the price for alterations is a flat rate. I went to the tailor they recommended me and I am ending up at paying almost $800 of alterations because she has to pretty much shrink it of 1 size. Non sense.
For what I paid I wish they would have at least ordered the right size.

They are ok. Average.

Great place to find a dress. Only it is very small, and they don't have as big a selection as other places. Still, their trunk shows and sample sales are great for the bride on a budget!

Extremely pushy staff. I'm an analytical person, and somehow I got pushed into buying a dress I didn't want. I called the store back within an hour on a Saturday after buying it, and they LIED and said sorry no refunds we already submitted your order. They eventually let me choose another dress in the store or said I would loose my deposit. I'm only writing a review because I recently spoke to an ex-staff member and she said my story is similar to so many brides that go here and confirmed the store was lying when they stated that they submitted my order that day (it was Saturday!). They do have a good selection of dresses, but be firm and carefully think before purchasing anything and don't let the sales associates talk you into anything!!! I was also told they mark up the prices of their lace 2-3 times than other stores if you need to buy extra. I love everything about my wedding except my dress, don't let that happen to you!

If you're on the hunt for a dress that will fit, I suggest you go elsewhere. My experience with Mia Bridal and their owner Jill was horrible. I wound up having to buy a second dress from BHLDN to change into at the reception because I could barely breathe much less sit in my original dress I purchased from Mia Bridal. After 5 alterations appointments, lots of time and money, my gown barely fit and I felt uncomfortable during my entire wedding ceremony. My measurements were clearly taken inaccurately since the sample size fit with clips strapping me in and extra fabric to spare. I ordered the same size as the sample size dress, and my wedding dress wouldn't even zip at my pick-up appointment and was entirely too short and too small. The sales clerks were misinformed and told me "I'm sure the alterations person can make it work." That's not what a bride wants to hear. They also tried to coax me into putting on my veil to try and cover the problem - the sales girls need training. Talk about a disappointment. While the owner attended one fitting appointment and offered to pitch in for only half of the alterations, which ran upwards of $900+, I did not find this to be a sufficient solution. To sum up this review, my customer experience was extremely terrible and I wound up with a less than perfect dress experience. When we requested a dress discount for our awful experience and poorly sized dress, the manager refused. Alterations did make the $5k+ dress wearable, but I could only stand in the dress (so unfortunately I was not able to sit during our Catholic ceremony). So glad my second dress from BHLDN worked out last minute, so I could move around our reception.

Very inconsistent customer service. Came here initially for a dress. The first visit I had Brittney as a consultant who was wonderful. Ended up buying my dress from their sister store brick house bridal because they had more of the styles I was looking to compare. Came back here to look at veils a few months later and had an attendant name Jill who was horrible, extremely rude and condescending. She was so belittling towards me that I just left. I'm so glad that i did not buy my dress or veil from here. Don't waste your time and money here. The selection is very limited and for the amount of money you are going to spend you at least deserve courteous customer service. I would recommend Joan pillow bridal if you are looking for a higher end bridal boutique or their sister store brickhouse in the woodlands. Your bridal shopping experience should be a happy one, not one where you leave shaking and flustered.

If you are an Austin bride, definitely do not buy here. They have pretty dresses but when it comes to alterations expect to be 100% abandoned/unsupported. Once they make the sale, they are completely unhelpful. I had to tell them that tailors on their Austin Bride referral list are out of business, not really located in Austin, or (heres a good one) were not aware that they were on Mia's referral list/did not accept outside customers. How embarrassing.

A SEVERE WORD OF CAUTION for any bride considering Mia Bridal Couture. We are disgusted/appalled with their lack of knowledge, judgment and professionalism. I purchased a signature designer wedding dress from a trunk show and the owner measured me herself. I did not have a corset/bra and asked about needing one. She replied, "You do not need a bra with this dress because it has boning already". The day of our wedding I wore the dress for 30 minutes when it began to sag and 45 minutes later it would not hold up. I spent our ENTIRE cocktail hour in a hotel room trying to hold the dress up. The only temporary solution was to wear a sheer jacket on backwards! Before we cut the cake I had to change into a dress from Target that one of my bridesmaids brought. Mia Bridal did not know how to respond when I later called. I asked the owner "What have you done in this case before?" she replied, "I have no idea what to do, this never happened to me before". We showed Mia Bridal our wedding photos and asked for financial compensation. We subsequently received a formal letter through email stating “All Sales Final”. The owner would not speak to us again, so we tried contacting the co-owner (who primarily works at Brickhouse Bridal). The co-owner never directly deals with brides! We hired an attorney who sent Mia Bridal a settlement letter. Mia Bridal responded with a similar answer. We stopped legal proceedings due to financial strain and ultimately received NO refund. Mia Bridal was more concerned with monetary profits than compensating a nightmare-wedding dress scenario due to the owner’s lack of knowledge, judgment and professionalism.
