I can’t recommend MG Event Design enough! Marcea and her team made our day go off without a hitch despite several challenges that came up before the weekend. From start to finish Marcea was so helpful and kind and exactly what I needed to execute the wedding day. We elected to have her come in for day-of coordination but I wish we could have elected for month of! I highly suggest carving out space in your budget for coordination and can promise you MG Event Design would be worth every penny. I loved how seamlessly she worked with our vendors and was able to jump in right away. Even if you’re a bride like me who wants to have all the details planned, you still need someone other than yourself who can execute the vision well and fill in the gaps you may not see. She is a true and trusted professional - exactly what you need for one of the biggest days in your life. -

From our very first meeting with Marcea I felt such peace and immediately put at ease that all the unknowns running through my head were going to be taken care of with organization and confidence. Working with Marcea as our day-of coordinator was one of the best decisions we had for our wedding. She kept us from overwhelming ourselves with her top-notch organization, planning, and creativity. Marcea had checklists, timelines, and reminders provided well before the wedding, and they kept everything on track.
Her communication was also on point. Marcea is consistently responsive, and she doesn’t hesitate to call if something needs to be addressed.
On the wedding day, she ran a tight ship and was able to keep all wedding traffic smooth (at least from our point of view). Honestly, we didn't think we'd be able to enjoy our wedding nearly as much if it weren't for her.
Marcea also has rentable items (table numbers, wedding accessories like flower basket, ceremony background, etc.) if needed, which was a definite plus.
The wife and I are extremely grateful to have worked with Marcea and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing wedding coordinator!!! -

Marcea was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we would not have had such a perfect day without all of her help and guidance in the year prior!
She has an incredible network and knowledge of vendors in the area, and it is immensely valuable to have someone help you narrow down the choices when they seem endless. After the vendor selection, she keeps all of the different pieces moving forward, is very clear about deadlines and action items on your end, and is able to give great guidance for things you are unsure of.
She will also take into account your budget needs, with tips on where it's worth it to spend money, and where it makes sense to save. She has some great DIY inspirations, and even a bank of rentable decor that is super budget-friendly.
Day of, she took care of every single detail with the vendors and setup, so the groom and I had nothing to do but relax and enjoy.
It really felt like she took the time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple, and helped us reflect our personalities in our big day.
I could not recommend someone more than Marcea/MG Event Design. You will be in great hands! -

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Marcea for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!
From the first meeting, we knew she would be attentive and available throughout the wedding planning process. We opted for her Event Management Package which was perfect for our needs as it involved having day-of coordination along with multiple meetings prior to the big day. Marcea was always approachable if we needed to reach out to her.
The day of the wedding, Marcea and her assistant, Natalie, were amazing in ensuring everything ran smoothly. We appreciated how they would check in with us throughout the evening, as well as their great attention to detail.

When my wife and I were shopping around for a wedding planner, we spoke with a handful of folks who just didn’t seem quite right for us. Many were friendly and seemed plenty organized, but they lacked a certain quality that we couldn’t put our finger on. That all changed when we spoke with Marcea. From even our first conversation, Marcea’s assuredness and clear headed approach to our big day was clear. She brought a kind of confidence to our wedding discussion that was the missing link for those we spoke to beforehand.
That confidence carried into our planning once we started working together, and it completely eliminated much of the doubt and worry we had about our big day. While much of the wedding planning process is joyful and exciting, there is a less-than-desirable side fueled by stress that can sour the experience. Marcea’s magic juju is taking that stress away, and she helped make our planning process as joyful as possible.
When the big weekend came, Marcea’s professionalism shined. From orchestrating our rehearsal to seamlessly ushering vendors on site, Marcea did not miss a single logistical beat. And, as we prepared for our ceremony, she also brought an infectious sense of excitement and positivity that my wife, myself, and our wedding party greatly appreciated as nerves ran high. A particularly special moment that my wife and I greatly appreciated was when Marcea brought my wife and me a plate of hors d'oeuvres after our photos were finished. It may sound like a simple gesture, but the fact is Marcea kept our well-being and comfort top of mind, and we sincerely appreciated her effort to keep us fueled up on such an action packed night.
I could go on and on about the countless ways Marcea went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was as enjoyable as possible, but a review has to end somewhere. With that said, I’ll end with this. Although there are many great wedding planners, working with Marcea felt like cheating our way to our perfect wedding. In our honest opinion, working with her is like a guarantee that you feel less stressed, more happiness, and can focus on the good stuff from beginning to end. -

Marcea and her team executed my vision perfectly. She was very involved in the design process and helped me create a magazine-worthy wedding. Her creativity from decor to flowers to flow was very valuable. I loved working with her and that she was always available for questions, ideas, or recommendations. Her curated list of recommended vendors was extremely helpful and I loved working with some of her favorites. Marcea and her team were wonderful to work with! We began working with her earlier on in the planning process and she was very helpful and shared so many great ideas with us, checking in on us and our progress often. She was a life saver day of the event and made sure everything was in place and the day stayed on schedule. Having the reassurance Marcea and team were handling everything day of really allowed my husband and I, and our families, to relax and enjoy the big day! She also had great recommendations for additional vendors, that made booking other services, like our DJ and hair and makeup, a breeze. -

Wedding Day Coordinator - A MUST have!
Marcea and MG Event Design staff exceeded all my expectations. As a "Type A" person, I was not convinced we needed a Wedding Day Planner. How wrong I was and as the MOB, it was such a blessing to be able to enjoy the day with my daughter, our families, friends and not have to think about much but relaxing and immersing myself in the joy of the event.
Marcea's attention to detail, vendor coordination, timeline of events and inventory items available to borrow from was absolutely outstanding! I felt comfortable knowing that Marcea and staff were taking care of set up, venue coordination and every little detail so I could relax, enjoy myself and be "present".

There are way too many details for a bride to think about on her own. Marcea went above and beyond in each step of our planning process. She came well prepared to bring to my attention the details that never would have crossed my mind. When it comes to wedding planning, Marcea knows that the bride and groom come first (but mostly the bride, tbh). She stepped out of her way to create that perfect wedding I had always dreamed about. One thing that really impressed me was, with every meeting with our other wedding vendors, Marcea held a high level of professionalism, including printed check lists and spreadsheets, to ensure we touched on everything we might need. Yet, at the same time, there was never a cloud of worry in the room. All of our meetings together were filled with joy and excitement about the big day my fiancé and I were planning. I never doubted that I was in good hands and I could have peace that all the pieces would fall into place because she was right there with me to make sure everything was in place and we had all we wanted and more. MG Event Designs was absolutely fantastic. They had outstanding coordination, punctuality, and insight, helping our wedding be well-prepared and beyond stunning. Marcea guided us through the things we never even thought we’d have to think about, providing really helpful assistance through the whole process. I remember her taking such good care of my wife, making things smooth and ready to go. Especially in the absolute chaos that is hosting 250+ people. Additionally, when issues or complications came up, she was always on top of it; we were in such great hands. I’m so glad that the most peaceful, put-together, and gorgeous wedding I’ve ever been to also happened to be my own. Marcea and her team were seriously the best ever. As an experienced event planner, I knew I could organize my daughter’s wedding without a problem, I also knew I didn’t want to be the one putting out fires, answering questions and directing the wedding day festivities. Magical & masterful!
Marcea took our wedding vision and turned it into a magical event. We wanted an elegant evening with a focus on our family and friends. Marcea masterfully created just that! We had about 50 guests at a family member's lakeside home. Our ceremony was at a beautiful spot down by the water just as Marcea had suggested. In addition to supporting design and decor, she expertly guided us in planning activities and made sure the evening flowed well. It was wonderful to see guests relaxed and enjoying the night either sipping cocktails, making s’mores or having fun in the photo booth.
Marcea is skilled at problem solving and she makes it look easy! When our photographer needed to cancel just days before the wedding, Marcea found three possible replacements within a couple of hours AND within our budget! Some of our flowers arrived brown and unusable, Marcea took care of it! When I had the wrong cord for the speakers, Marcea and her assistant got right to work and solved the problem.
One of the things we valued about Marcea was that she is open and straight to the point. She was great at making suggestions and sharing insights to help carry out our vision. My husband and I describe the night as truly magical. We were able to focus on friends and family and had the most memorable evening. We highly recommend Marcea and are thankful for her expertise. -

Marcea has gone above and beyond for my fiancé and I. She is always willing to answer my many questions and offer ideas/suggestions. When you talk with her, she has such a warm personality that instantly makes you feel comfortable. Marcea saved us during this Covid-19 time. We had a wedding planned in Southern California which we had to cancel and move our wedding up to Washington State because of my mom's health. We had one month to plan a wedding, and Marcea made it everything we dreamed of and more. We were so thankful for her professionalism and her timliness on everything. Our photographer and videographer mentioned specifically to me that they loved working with her because she kept them in the loop of everything. I highly recommend!!! -

Thank you for the BEST day of our lives. You handled this entire process with such professionalism and class. You worked so perfectly with our vendors coordinating to the last detail so seamlessly. Keon and I appreciate your dedication- the day after your vacation, you came to a meeting with the venue with such an upbeat attitude, ready to work. Purely dedicated. All of your vendor recommendations and decoration ideas were spot on. You even let us borrow your lovely mailbox to hold our wedding cards from our guests, which looked STUNNING in photos!

It’s hard to put into words how much Marcea helped me and my husband throughout our wedding planning process and how much she helped me, my husband, our families, and our wedding party throughout our wedding day.
Throughout the year leading up to our wedding, Marcea dedicated countless hours to helping us plan. She would go to vendor meetings with us, ensure we were sticking to our wedding planning timeline, and made herself available at any time for questions we needed answered. One thing we love about Marcea is that she made us feel like we were her only clients. We wish we could bold, italicize, and underline that last sentence. She really made us feel like we were her only clients.
She made our wedding day perfect. She managed our wedding day timeline, ensuring everyone and everything was on time. She managed all of our vendors, helped set up and tear down, etc. If there were any hiccups during our wedding day, we didn’t know about them because Marcea handled them. She made our wedding day smooth and stress free.
Marcea is very knowledgeable about the wedding industry and can give you great advice on what works and what doesn’t work at weddings because of her experience. She also has a lot of contacts and can refer you great vendors.
We could go on and on about how much we love Marcea and how much she helped us, but we want to keep our review short so people don’t have to read paragraphs of text. In short, Marcea is phenomenal and she’ll be the best vendor you hire for your wedding. She went above and beyond what we expected from her and what a lot of other wedding planners would offer. I’ve always dreamed Id have this beautiful Pinterest worthy wedding. But with such a small budget, I doubted it could happen. I also dreamed of the day being completely stress free for everyone involved, but since when does that happen in weddings? Well I can safely say that she helped me achieve both. Marcea was everything I could have hoped for in a coordinator and MORE! Our meetings before the wedding, she was so thorough and thoughtful. She brought up ideas and details that I forgot!! She calmed any of nerves. She supported me through every step of the way. On the wedding day, nothing slipped through the cracks, no detail to big or small was forgotten, we paced perfectly with our timeline all day long (a miracle! Coming from a family where weddings are the party of the century, my wife and I had a lot to live up to when planning our wedding. Luckily we had Marcea. I was nervous about who to pick and what traits to look for, because planning a 350+ person wedding is a lot to handle, especially with someone as detail crazed as me. However, once we met Marcea, it was like planner at first sight; we knew she had it on lock. She's friendly and sweet, but incredibly sharp and knows how to get it done and get it done right. She was so keenly aware of each and every detail from each and every angle and made sure our day was OUR DAY and nothing short of it. Marcea was a dream come true. There were so many elements of our day that we didn't even know that we had to plan or where to start, and she stepped right in and walked us through the entire process. From start to finish, our experience with her was smooth, easy and an absolute blast. If something went wrong through the process she had a solution ready to be executed before we even realized there was an issue and on the day of our wedding, not a single detail was missed, nor timeline off track. My wife and I can't say enough about Marcea and the magic she performed for us. We have already suggested her to any and all of our friends who are getting ready to plan their wedding or who are recently engaged. She is the best. I promise. -
