My fiancé (now husband) and I learned about Scott and Metzger Studios from a family friend who highly recommended him as our wedding photographer. When looking at his work, we loved that his photos looked fun, natural, and professional. After chatting with Scott, we knew we had found the right person for us to capture our wedding day.
From start to finish, Scott was great to work with! He was organized, professional, kind, energetic, and very open to feedback of what we wanted our wedding day photos to look and feel like. We had our engagement shoot with Scott as well, which I would highly recommend, and it allowed for us to establish a rapport with Scott prior to the big day. On our wedding day, Scott was able to capture every important moment, and even took our inspiration photos into account to make sure the photos fit our preference and style. I especially liked that Scott had a great balance of being present to capture the important moments, but also giving us time to be present in the moment and enjoy our day.
After our wedding, we were truly surprised by how quickly Scott was able to give us our proofs and final photos! All of our friends and family have had nothing but wonderful things to say about how great the photos turned out, and we cannot stop looking at them. We also ordered an album through Scott, and his editing and layout of the album was incredible.
I would highly recommend Scott and Metzger Studios for your wedding photography needs! -

Thrilled with our photos!
I am so happy we chose Scott as our wedding photographer. When I initially reached out, Scott was very responsive and well-priced. He made sure to know exactly what photos and locations we wanted. Day of wedding, he was prompt and professional. Scott is very creative and took lots of photos that highlighted the uniqueness of our venue. Also, we are not very photogenic, but Scott directed us very well and the photos are very flattering. Overall, I couldn't be happier, and I highly recommend working with him. -

Scott was an amazing photographer! He was positive and upbeat the whole day, remaining calm even when the schedule was disrupted. His photos were gorgeous, and he was extremely respectful of our values and desires throughout the process— he took care to really capture both the sacredness of the wedding mass and the absolute blast that was the reception. Plus, he was reasonably priced and came with the venue’s (Butternut Farm Golf Club) package. Our family and friends are raving about the incredible pictures. Thank you Scott!!! -

Scott is the BEST!
Scott was our photographer for our wedding but also our engagement shoot. My husband and I are not models and we needed a lot of hand holding to say the least. Scott was calm, kind, and professional (and funny!) the entire time we worked with him. When there’s so much going on and you feel like the world is spinning, it’s nice to have someone there to guide you. Scott had no problem directing us while also checking in to make sure we were okay (it was cold and windy on our wedding day!). And on top of that, the pictures he takes are breathtaking - it takes a talented person to be able to cut through chaos and get a beautiful picture out of it all.
When you’re getting married, you don’t know what to expect. You hope you can plan it all but in reality, you never know what’s to come. Having Scott with us felt like we had an anchor. I think it’s important to see his pictures and determine if his style is right for you but I also think it’s important to consider how genuinely helpful and caring he is. He went above and beyond for us and we couldn’t be more grateful. The fact that we have these beautiful pictures to capture one of the best days of our lives is priceless. Scott is worth it, I can’t recommend him enough. His prices are fair, he communicates clearly, and he’s very nice. What more could you ask for? Thank you for everything, Scott! -

Me and My wife could not have been happier with our experience with Scott. We had our wedding 1/19/25 and are extremely happy with the whole event Scott was professional, timely, and made the experience fun. Even being ok and risking going out onto ice with myself, my wife and our wedding party getting amazing action shots on ice. I would recommend to anyone looking for a photographer. -

When we began planning our wedding, photography was one of the most important things to us. We wanted to hire someone who was passionate about photography, and had a vision we could appreciate. With Scott, we had all of that and more. Our Engagement shoot in Boston was the perfect warm up for us, as aside from school picture day, we had never had professional photos taken. Scott made us feel comfortable enough to be photographed in public, posing and having fun. The wedding photos themselves are worth every single penny that we spent; our guests cannot stop raving about how much they love what Scott and his team captured. Scott was wonderful to work with from the beginning of our 2 year engagement period up until the days (and months) following the wedding day! He is responsive, considerate, and has a great eye for detail. We did an engagement photo session with him where he had plenty of location suggestions to guide us in what we envisioned, and then brought takeaways from that session into our wedding day. My husband and I are very casual and love a good crowd! Our wedding guest attendance was ~180 people and a majority under 30 so it was LIVELY to say the least. Scott captured all the high energy fun in his creative shots and moved around the venue space seamlessly to secure the key moments. Our sunset pictures and final wedding album came out absolutely stunning! I must also mention that my bridesmaids and I were an hour late to First Look photos but Scott managed to get us all in line just in time for ceremony! I recommend him! -

We had originally booked Metzger one year prior to our wedding, being a Thursday he didn’t realize he had double booked us until 2 months before the wedding. Before freaking out, he already had a back up plan and reached out to his affiliate Joe Dolen and realized he was available for our day. Everything after that went smooth, he was responsive and so much fun at the wedding. He took amazing photos and we felt very comfortable with him even though my fiance and I are not the most photogenic!!! Even with the mishap I would definitely recommend Scott for your photographer!!! -

After attending a friend’s wedding, seeing Scott in action, and seeing how their photos came out, we knew right away that Scott was going to be our first choice for a wedding photographer.
Two years later… we are beyond happy that we chose Scott as our wedding photographer! He is the absolute best! Scott captured our day perfectly and efficiently. Even with all of the formal photos, we were left with so much time to enjoy the day. He was incredibly easy to work with and naturally directed us to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We knew right away we wanted to have Scott shoot our wedding. His photography is simply excellent - composing shots that are far more than the typical cookie-cutter poses other photographers offer.
From the first consultation to the final delivery of our photos, Scott was the epitome of professionalism, skill, and adaptability. Moreover, Scott was fantastic with our multi-lingual guest list with many guests speaking only mandarin or only Cantonese and very little english.
Scott's professionalism was evident from the outset. He was punctual, well-prepared, and exuded a calming presence that immediately put everyone at ease. He truly understood the significance of our special day and took the time to get to know us as a couple to create the perfect portfolio. The fact that he is experienced with wedding photography as well as experience shooting at our venue before made things smoother and we could clearly see the added creativity and skill he was able to bring from that experience.

Amazing Wedding Photographer
Scott was our absolute favorite vendor of the night. Not only did he look amazing in his nature vest, but he did an incredible job with his photos. He was super responsive leading up to the wedding and collaborated with me on the different shots to get throughout the evening. My (now) husband doesn't enjoy getting his photo taken, and Scott was super conscious of ensuring that he did not make my husband feel uncomfortable throughout the night. I've gotten so many incredible compliments on Scott's (and his assistant Patrick's) photos, I HIGHLY recommend him for any event you plan to host! -

Wonderful to Work With!
We were blown away by Scott's professionalism and talent from the moment we met him. When we talked with him about what we wanted in terms of capturing the day, he listened and went above and beyond. We wanted a combination of some staged shots and the candid raw moments throughout the day, and some of our favorite pictures are the candid moments. Scott and Javier seamlessly blended in to the hustle and bustle of the day, and wasted no time making jokes to get us laughing and take some pressure off. He worked closely with us to get some pictures of us with our charming and rambunctious yellow lab. The photo's and memories that he captured for us are truly priceless, and one of the best investments that we made on our wedding day was hiring Metzger Studios. -

Scott Metzger is a photo-genius! When my daughter announced she planned a Lexington Town Hall within the month, with only a dozen immediate relatives, I began frantically searching for a local photographer. To be honest, while immediately enchanted by Metzger Studios portfolio with award winning acclaim, I feared Scott would be both unaffordable and unavailable. However, once Scott and I touched base by phone I was delighted to find Metzger Studios available in town for the Tuesday afternoon booked, and offering a reasonable package to suit our needs. Within just over a two hour span, Scott produce an array of over 300 photos so fabulous, my daughter hesitated to let me post them on social media at first for fear her friends she's had an elaborate full scale wedding and not invited them! None of us had any wedding planning experience, so Scott, like a seasoned pro, lightly guided us as needed to capture phenomenal photos capturing memories that will last a lifetime. All the while he maintains an inconspicuous presence, you barely notice, subtly commanding wile demure. I am so glad I did not shy away from his award winning genius. Thanks Scott!!! -

From the start, Scott has been nothing but patient and accommodating. We had a Covid wedding, right when the events were limited to 10 people and Scott was very understanding and helpful while we were navigating these obstacles. He made sure to get all of the pictures I requested and took some very special pictures I never even thought to have taken. He was amazing with our children and took many photos that captured their personalities perfectly. The second I saw photos on his website, I knew I loved his style. With planning our wedding in just 3 months, we could not have found a more patient, kind, and talented photographer to capture one of the most special days of our lives. We could not have asked for a better photographer or person to work with for our engagement session and wedding day. Scott and his second shooter, Javier, were beyond incredible and super fun to work with! From the very beginning, Scott was incredibly responsive and professional when discussing what were included in his services. I cannot speak more highly about the work Scott and his team captured for our wedding. Scott and his team are creative, thoughtful, and responsive and captured the most unique and beautiful images of our wedding celebration.
One of the things that drew us to Scott's work was his unique images. None of the weddings he showcases looks alike - not one. Each couple and location is unique and Scott leverages this every chance he gets, capturing once-in-a-lifetime shots. Not to mention that Scott and his team make the entire experience fun and filled with laughter!

I was originally supposed to get married in May 2020. We had to postpone our wedding THREE times due to Covid. Scott was so flexible and kind and accommodating the whole entire almost 4 years we were working together through this. It was worth the wait, because Scott's photographs were AMAZING. We were floored with how beautiful they turned out. Scott and his second shooter, Javier, were SO fun and lovely to work with on the wedding day. Scott was the perfect balance of being respectful of our timeline, yet making sure to capture the shots he knew we'd love. We truly enjoyed working with him and Javier, they felt like friends/guests on our wedding day and absolutely delivered on great shots capturing the day. I would 10000% recommend Scott to anyone. Scott is an amazing photographer to work with. His work ethic, communication, and his eye for capturing the perfect moment are a few things that come to mind. We began planning our wedding back in 2018 for a 10-10-2020 wedding. My wife had one request and that was to have amazing photos. She had read reviews and known about Scott before we even began planning. When the time came to plan, Scott was the first vendor we called and locked down the date with. We booked Scott for shooting our engagement photos and our wedding photos. In 2019 we shot our engagement photos on the beaches of Cape Cod… they came out amazing! Scott’s photos not only capture the moment and the surroundings, but his unique style sometimes make you wonder “how did he capture this shot?!”
Enter Covid, this pretty much put the brakes on weddings that year and made a 10-10-2020 wedding very challenging. Scott worked with us every step of the way to try and provide the best service he could, where he could. We, like many others had to put a hold on the “big wedding” and opted for a small family wedding. We approached Scott and filled him in on our plan to have a small wedding on 10-10-2020 and the big wedding as originally planned on 10-10-2021. Scott had no problem with the original plan in 2020, but he was already booked in 2021.
10-10-2020! Our wedding day was finally here, Scott came down to Cape Cod and shot wedding day. He was great to work with and clearly has done this a few times in that he kept things moving, he knew what shots were going to come out great, where we should stand, and making sure we get everyone in. I am a huge fan of Scott’s outdoor shots; he manages to pull off National Geographic shots with a wedding in the foreground.
With October 2021 right around the corner, Scott reached out to us to let us know that due to a schedule change he had our date open and would love to finish what we started. We were more than happy to continue working with him. On 10-10-2021 Scott came to Boston, and we carried out our original plan to take photos around Boston’s famous waterfront. We had a blast taking the photos and Scott had us setup some rather interesting shots that I couldn’t wait to see.
Now for the hard part, going through the all the photos and picking favorites for the albums, this was not easy, mainly because Scott’s photos were SO good! While it was hard to pick favorites, it was easy to pick which ones needed editing and touchups. I think this was what made working with Scott so easy, Scott handled everything, making it a turnkey process.
The reviews speak for themselves and the photos you see on his website are what you can expect from Scott. His photos and abilities to capture the moment are amazing, and I am a huge fan of his creative nature. You won’t find another photographer like him! If you want a truly memorable experience and photos that will bring you joy every time you look at them, go with Scott, you won’t be disappointed!

Perfect experience all around!!
Scott was absolutely AMAZING! We were so thrilled with our pictures and how perfectly Scott captured our wedding day, my husband even cried when we looked through the pictures for the first time (he is not usually a crier...). Scott made the process easy and actually really fun during our wedding day. Along with the usual wedding pictures that your parents would want, Scott took a bunch of fun/quirky/funny pictures which perfectly captured the essence of my husband and I. Justian and I hired Scott Metzger to be our wedding photographer, and we were never happier with our decision. When researching different photographers, Scott immediately stood out. We completely fell in love with his style of art from the very beginning. Scott proved very easy to work with, including his flexibility, as we had to re-schedule the wedding due to the pandemic. When the big day finally arrived, the entire wedding party had a blast working with him and Javier, (second shooter for the day). Scott has a great sense of humor and an exceptionally creative eye for shots, opportunities, and photographic angles. He works very smoothly and gives great directions on what to do next. We did a lot of research on photographers, but knew IMMEDIATELY we wanted Scott after seeing his work and speaking with him. Such a nice guy and his photography is phenomenal! Multiple people have reached out to us telling us our photography was the most beautiful they've seen from any wedding. His assistant was great and he was a lot of fun to work with! He got so many incredible shots, and we loved his unique ideas! Also the turnaround time on our photos was astounding, especially when taken into account how busy Scott is with the pandemic wedding boom! Speaking of which, we are one of the rescheduled weddings and Scott helped us breathe easy and feel confident that we could rely on him through the unknowns. -

Scott is great! We had a really bad rain storm just as we needed to take pictures. Our wedding was delayed by a year due to the pandemic, and while a lot of aspects and vendors changed, we were happy to stick with Scott through all of the ups and downs. Incredible!!
Other than marrying my husband, choosing Scott as my photographer was the best decision I made! His creativity and uniqueness is second to none. The best decision I made on my wedding day (besides marrying my husband) was hiring Scott! We got married March 2021 and due to the pandemic we never were certain about, anything really. We didn't even pick a venue until 2 weeks before our wedding date. Scott was completely understanding and totally flexible. His communication was excellent, always responding quickly and ready to be of assistance. He made a very stressful time much more enjoyable and worry free. The day of he was amazing, there were moments I did not even know he was there until seeing the picture afterwards! He captured brilliant and stunning photos. He was really great at giving direction and he didn't miss a beat. I feel like my photos belong in a magazine! Not to mention, I received them like 3 days after my wedding! Scott was our photographer for our New Year's Eve wedding. He was on time, attentive and SO creative. Most of the day he was a fly on the wall, he captured the most amazing moments of our day while barely being noticed! He paid close attention to detail and didn't miss any of our 'must-have' shots. It was New Year's Eve in New England and he had us out on the harbor for some amazing shots that we will cherish forever. Our day was captured perfectly!
My husband and I decided to inquire Metzger Studios after being at a venue and looking through albums. Every album we were drawn to was from this studio. The first time we met Scott we knew he was the perfect person to capture our day. He had a great personality, an awesome sense of humor and his love for photography and his edits was evident. The day of the wedding Scott arrived on time and ready to start. He asked hair and makeup artists if he could adjust the lighting for a brief time to get some shots. He worked so quickly hair and makeup didn't miss a beat. The makeup artist actually said "I'm hiring him if I get married!" At the wedding Scott and his assistant continued to exceed our expectations. Scott seemed to have his eye on everyone at all times. He would approach my husband and I at the perfect moment, where we had a good amount of downtime, and steal us for some photos. He worked so efficiently I'm not sure if he was taking a hundred photos in 5 minutes or it just felt like 5 minutes! He is an incredibly talented photographer but also a genuinely great person! -

I found Scott through two of my friends who had him as their wedding photographer. I was so impressed with how professional and talented he was and also loved the way their pictures looked. I knew when we got engaged and started planning our wedding that we would ask him to be a part of our wedding day too. We planned our Boston wedding from California, and then Ohio, and he was very easy to work with throughout the whole process leading up to our wedding.
On the day of our wedding, he was prompt, professional, thorough and captured all of the images we wanted on that day. He was even great about getting four separate photos of my husband and my maternal and paternal families (which I asked him to get that day). Getting four different, chatty and large groups of people to focus and smile is no easy task but he did amazing and my family all wanted copies.
He was also very prompt with editing the photos and getting them back to us shortly after our wedding. We had such a hard time narrowing photos to include in our album because he captured so many great ones!! When we finally narrowed it down, he turned them into a beautiful album that we will cherish for years to come.

My wife and I did not write a review immediately following our wedding...we went on our honeymoon and (aside from writing our thank you's to our guests) we did not think much about returning to wedding tasks. We had organized much of the wedding ourselves and were burnt out. Fast forward 2.5 years and I was going through our wedding photos and noticed that some of the photos I had downloaded had parts of the picture missing (looked like a gray bar horizontally through the photo). I reached out to Scott to ask him if he had any recommendations about what I should do. Within two days he got back to me and provided me with a solution! It ended up being an error on my end where my photos had been corrupted. After the recent exchange, I decided that it was more than appropriate to write a positive review.
I think there are likely quite a few talented photographers out there who you could hire and, honestly, be more than happy with the finished product. But, Scott is a professional photographer and a good human who can provide his clients with more than "just" high-quality memories of their wedding. He also provided my wife and I with peace of mind and we are truly grateful to have trusted him with documenting one of the most important days of our lives. -

Scott and Metzger Studios were so incredibly great to work with! I trusted Scott from the beginning given all his years of experience and having been recommended to use him from a family friend. I loved his style of capturing more candid moments and his ability to get some really fun artistic pictures. He is also so reasonable price in a marketing that can feel inflated! On the day of the wedding, Scott was organized and ready to go. He corralled the bridal party and I didn't have to worry about organizing things myself. I was also able to send him a list ahead of time of shots I'd love to get and he made sure he got them all! The best too is after I got my pictures back there were soo many amazing shots from us on the dance floor or elsewhere that I didn't even know Scott had got - it was like he was a ghost just snapping pics unbeknownst to me which I loved because while it's fun to stop and take pic you don't always want to be inundated with that on your day! He was just so flexible and amenable to whatever I needed. I highly recommend him! He'll add such professionalism, help and fun to your day! :) -

Scott is both a wonderful photographer and person! He was our wedding photographer July 2017 when my husband and I got married in Gloucester MA. We found him through a wedding website (I forget which one) and I scheduled an in-person meeting with him where he showed me his beautiful work. We have been recommending him to friends/family since. He is very affordable, which is important when dealing with overwhelming wedding costs. He's dedicated to detail and took some of the most unique/beautiful photos to capture our day. Scott made us all feel very comfortable when shooting photos. He was always there capturing each moment but also did a good job of not even making you realize he was there. He was helpful, efficient and patient in the ordering process after the wedding. Photo/album costs were very reasonable. Our touched photos came out stunning. Highly recommend Scott to everyone! -

Absolutely stunning photography
My husband and I got married on 7/27/19 at The Villa at Ridder Country Club in Bridgewater, MA. Our ceremony was at the Taxiarchae Archangels Greek Orthodox Church in Watertown, MA. Scott and his team were great! As Scott had previously filmed at both of these locations, we were in the best of hands possible. He knew the best locations for all photos at both locations and the best angles. He was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding day! He was very prompt and responsive throughout the planning process. His photos are absolutely stunning. His passion for photography is evident in his pictures and how he took the photos. We had several wedding party members comment on his efficiency and passion. We loved having Scott as our photographer and we highly recommend his services!!! -

New Year’s Eve wedding
My husband and I got married this New Year’s Eve at the Cruiseport in Gloucester MA. Scott’s work by far exceeded all my expectations. I am constantly receiving rave comments about how
my photos came out. I had many ideas of specific photos I was hoping for ex. family formals, pictures under the chandeliers and capturing the New Year’s Eve count down with confetti. The best photographer ever!!! Scott was an absolutely amazing photographer for my wedding. Absolutely AMAZING!
Scott photographed my sisters wedding and the minute I saw her pictures I knew I wanted him to shoot mine! It took a few years to get to my wedding, but Scott’s photography was something I did not forget! Scott and his assistant Tim went above and beyond to get the shots we wanted. They were professional and so much fun to work with! We had a large bridal part and several locations for photographs. Scott and Tim traveled along with us and got the most beautiful shots. Couldn’t ask for a better team to shoot our wedding. The pictures came out beautiful and I’ll cherish them forever. Scott was always available in the planning phase to discuss logistics and shot ideas. He helped us get very comfortable in front of the camera with an engagement session. In my opinion, a photographer is one of the most important parts of a
wedding. The day goes by so fast for the bride and groom that they need
these photos to look back on. I found Scott at expo and I am so glad I did!
My husband and I were blown away just at the consultation we had with him!
He truly has a passion for what he does and will do everything to make sure
it is exactly what you want for you special day. He made sure that I had
everything I had envisioned, and was more than accommodating. Never once
did he rush us and always had a smile on his face, you can tell he truly
enjoyed his time photographing my wedding day. His other photographer was
just as amazing and you can tell the two of them work well together making
sure every important moment is captured. The images he captured are
absolutely beautiful, are of the highest quality and affordable. I could go

Creative edge
Scott was amazing!! He put a spin on the photos to make them so much more creative and beautiful! He kept us moving so we didn't take up half the night just for photos. Before we were even back from our honeymoon we were getting sneak peeks. I've received so many compliments already on how beautiful our photos are. He's not your typical formal wedding photographer (he could be if you asked) but he's so much more! He knew the area of Gloucester better than i did and knew the right spots to go to get amazing photos. I trusted him 100%! I Highly recommend!! -

What a PLEASURE it was to work with these two. I found out about Scott's work through a very close family friend of mine that got married in 2015. Ever since, I became obsessed with his work. So once Chris proposed, Scott was the first vendor I booked after the venue. And it was one of the best decisions we made when planning for this wedding.
As luck would have it, our wedding happened on the hottest day of the year (and the century), and the venue's AC was broken. Despite this, Scott and his team worked our event that was both long and unbearable, and far from home (we live in Western Massachusetts, 1.5 hours away from Boston) without a single complaint. If anything, I yelled at Scott to please go get himself some shorts and a t-shirt to change into and lovingly threatening him with enough food and water to drink 😂. For some outdoor shots, he even laid down on burning asphalt (literally) in long sleeves and pants. They were pleasant, professional, always smiling, and so creative. I'm so excited to see our pictures soon!!! Thank you for making a difficult day a lot more fun and full of giggles. -

The Best!!!
We found Scott through our venue. Our wedding coordinator at the venue raved about him, and after our first meeting we knew it was going to be him! We had no other experience with having a photographer follow us around all day so we were not sure what to expect. Well if we did have a expectation he and Katherine ( his second shooter) were amazing. They took all the shots we wanted and it was a nice little break from everyone when they pulled us aside to take some extra photos. They stood in the background, but anytime I turned around with a group of people they were there to take a picture. We even had our dog come for a few shots and not only was he good with him, but he got the most amazing picture with him! Scott stayed all night and one point I looked at him and said oh your still here and he said these are the black mail photos for later and he was right! We so many fantastic photos!! I can not recommend him more we have been to many wedding since ours in April, and I have to say I haven't seen a more attentive photographer. Thank you Scott! We now have some fantastic photos to last a lifetime, and a photographer for any future needs!! -

First, let me start off by saying that when it comes to photography, I'm extremely picky, and we reviewed so many portfolios before coming upon Scott's work.
Seeing the work he had done for others, he definitely seemed to be the one for us, but you might wonder if his work for you will be at the level of his portfolio displayed online... and I can say this without hesitation: it will be.
Scott and his assistant Katherine were an absolute joy to work with and the results of their work were amazing, and absolutely everything we'd hoped for. It's saying something when your guests comment on how easy and fun it is to work with your wedding photographers, and we heard that a lot. He was the epitome of professionalism, and a lot of fun to work with. He's someone we'd definitely love to work with again to photograph our future milestones.
From the initial meeting, to the discussion on packages, to the day of the wedding, every step was just top notch and exactly what we hoped for.
I can't recommend Scott enough for your wedding. Look at this photos, let him know what you want yours to include, if anyone can deliver 110%, it will be Scott. -

Scott of Metzger Studios is simply amazing; he has such an eye for wonderful and creative photography and really knows his craft! Out of all the available photographers that we could have chosen, we absolutely know that we selected the right photographer for our wedding by going with Metzger Studios! We first saw Scott’s work while on a venue tour and we were immediately drawn to the images. Ever since our first email and meeting with Scott, he has been timely in his responses and always willing to help answer any questions we had along the way. Early on in this process, we had the opportunity to do an engagement shoot and we we’re thrilled with the results. During both the engagement shoot and the wedding, Scott made the whole photography process so comfortable and enjoyable and the results resemble that! He was very clear with the particular shots he was taking and was always communicating with us throughout the night to make sure we were using the opportunity for particular shots we wanted and that we were happy with the way things were going. Also accompanying Scott on our wedding day was his assistant Reinaldo who was wonderful. Scott stayed through the reception and captured key moments of the night as well as candid’s that show the celebration and enjoyment that not only we were experiencing, but also our family and friends in attendance! Scott and his assistant, Reinaldo, were able to get wonderful photography without being intrusive and photographed in an almost behind the scenes fashion that didn’t impair the view of any of our guests. Following the wedding, we were so excited to get our proofs and less than a week later, our blog and slideshow was up to give us a sneak peak and then only a short time after that, all of our proofs were live—and we are just so grateful to have wonderful photography that captured our special day! Besides our satisfaction with the results, we have received nothing but positive feedback from our guests. We are so excited to get our album as well as our prints and canvases to be able to display! We chose Scott to capture our wedding day because of his beautiful story-telling photography, and I wouldn't change a thing. After meeting with Scott for the first time, the search was instantly over. Scott is wonderful to work with; he is very passionate about photography and it is clearly visible within the first minute of stepping into his studio. Both Scott and Kathryn did an amazing job with capturing all the wedding day details, small and big. They were very professional throughout the entire day, patient and fun to work with. They went along with our shenanigans and captured beautiful shots that I would have never even thought of.
Leading up to our wedding day, Scott was timely in responding to emails and communicating about the timeline for the big day.

Scott had done several of our friends/family's weddings so he came HIGHLY recommended to my husband and I. Booking him was extremely easy and once we secured him, it was simply easy from there. He was entirely flexible for whatever we needed, showed up exactly when he said he would and worked with our party the entire day. He was hysterical with the group - everyone LOVED him and his team and it made the day (and pictures) easy and exciting. Our picture site came to us within a week or two which we could share with our loved ones and the additional photos were sent shortly after. Our pictures were PERFECT!!! Scott and Kathryn did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding!! We just got our pictures back online (extremely fast turnaround time - less than 2 weeks!), and we are obsessing over them. Scott has such a great eye for cool, creative and unexpected shots that all my wedding guests can't stop talking about. From start to finish - engagement photos last June to our December 15th wedding - Scott was professional, friendly, prompt with e-mails and calls, and so informative about the whole process. Scott and Kathryn were at our wedding from 1pm for getting ready shots up until the very end of the evening (close to 11pm!). Scott will literally roll around on the ground to get the perfect shot! We got every shot we wanted and more. I would recommend Metzger Studios to anyone! When your day is over, all you have left are the photos, and we are so glad we chose Scott to capture them!! -

Not only did we manage to book with Scott, but he was more affordable than a lot of the competing photographers in the area! After our engagement shoot, we knew we had made the right decision. We were even more certain on the day of the wedding when a storm rolled in and Scott managed to make the photos work out in spite of the weather. He got everyone laughing and really turned out some spectacular images. We can't recommend Scott enough.
