Rick was amazing!

Rick did our wedding and did such a great job! He rolled with the flow, accommodated us when we had to reschedule, and truly cares about making it a special day! He was so responsive and again, just a person who really cares!

Wedding fun

Rick played exactly what we asked for and everyone had an absolute blast. He has professionalism but it also makes it feel comfortable. He was fun I’m glad we found him :)

Great service

The party was awesome. They provided an awesome package deal..very affordable. Food was great. And the DJ service was top notch. I definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing atmosphere

Where should I begin.. Chris and Jared seriously made our wedding night. We were married 3-11-17 and still to this day we are getting compliments on how awesome our dj(Chris) was! From the very beginning he was so easy to work with, made me a special mash up of songs for my dad and I, guided us in what to do and not to do! I recommend Chris to everyone I know who is thinking about getting married! He will make your wedding rock! No joke everyone, I mean everyone was on the dance floor!! The snowball dance was something I nor other guests have seen and still again people are still talking about that too!! I promise you will not be disappointed!! Honestly, I could go on and on about them! Make sure you hire Chris he is excellent!

My wife and I selected Metro Music after attending a friend’s wedding that had the same DJ. We made our decision because the DJ had everyone in attendance on the dance floor! Chris French and Metro Music pulled through for us on our big day! Our wedding was a phenomenal success and I attribute that to the wonderful DJ. The company is organized and friendly. The company also worked great with our venue. We couldn’t be happier! Thank you Chris French and thank you Metro Music for being apart of our happily ever after!

These guys are great. Chris and team worked with us from the very beginning. Very up front with pricing and what we needed! They didn't pressure us or up sale us on stuff we didn't need.

My husband and I have received so many compliments on our DJ. Chris was amazing and kept our wedding rocking the entire night--he had to kick us off the dance floor!!! Chris and Rick were very easy to work with and took away all my stress of the day. I did not have to worry about anything-Chris coordinated with all the other vendors to make sure our reception went off without a hitch! My husband and I love to dance and wanted a fun wedding and let me tell you, Chris came through with flying colors. Best DJ ever!!!! (And, do the snowball)

I went to our meeting thinking it was just going to be another DJ meeting for our wedding. I left their office so excited for the music at our wedding I couldn't wait for our special day! Chris was our DJ, and I couldn't have asked for a better guy. Everything they did for us was top notch for a reasonable price.

Chris and Rick were referred to us by my mother. They were hired for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding! We met with Rick a few times before the big day and made all the plans and he was wonderful. Chris contacted us a few days before our wedding and calmed all of our last minute worries. The big day came and the only thing that we were not worried about was the reception. Chris was so professional (even though he knew my mom personally). Chris was so sweet to us and he made EVERYTHING happen when and how it was supposed to happen. There was a full dance floor from start to finish. Everyone of our guests had a wonderful time and we had the time of our life! CJ came in at the end to wrap everything up and it was like there wasn't a beat missed. I would recommend these guys to anyone and I am already trying to find other parties to have to get them back. I love these guys!!

Absolutely awesome experience with Metro Music! I am a terrible planner, and they helped me every step of the way, even with things unrelated to DJing. Not to mention Rick made my wedding awesome and fun with his music choices and wedding games. Would recommend 100%!!

We hired metro music for our wedding ceremony and reception on 6/17/16 and days later our guests are still talking about how great Chris was! Rick and Chris are both amazing people but even better DJs, they were both so easy to work with and I didn't have to worry about anything! We had made a few special song requests for our ceremony and they were able to deliver exactly what we asked for! Chris was interactive with all of our guests throughout the night and truly made our night so special and memorable! I would recommend metro music to anyone looking to have an incredible wedding! We also had our photobooth provided by metro music and again our guests LOVED it! It was spacious and allowed for large groups to take pictures together!!

Rick and Chris are absolutely amazing!! Rick helped us set everything up with the first consultation and Chris did our last consultation and was our dj for our wedding on 5/21/16. He really made it a stress free wedding. The music was exactly what we asked for and he really was our coordinator for the evening which was absolutely wonderful to be able to relax. I would recomend them to anyone planning there wedding. It was money well spent to have the wedding of our dreams!!!

We hired Metro Music Entertainment for our wedding on 02/14/16. From the first phone call to the end of the reception Rick made us feel so comfortable. The day of the wedding we literally kicked back and relaxed and Rick took care of everything else with extreme professionalism and class. He coordinated with the reception venue and photographer very well. The up-lighting added a whole new level of romance and beauty to the room. The whole evening was stress free and all of our guests are still talking about the fantastic time they had, the great music, and how well the entire evening flowed. Our guests danced the whole evening because Rick played music to please the entire crowd that ranged from 18 years old to 80 years old. When meeting with Rick and reviewing our song selections he realized I am dancing with my brothers instead of my dad. My dad passed away 7 years ago and I wanted to say something to honor him before the brother/sister dance. Rick had a great idea……”let’s record your voice in our pod cast studio and I will play it when introducing your brothers and beginning of the song”. It turned out absolutely perfect and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Rick’s thoughtfulness far surpasses anything we could have expected and we are so appreciative of his kindness. Also, Metro Music Entertainment prices are, BY FAR, the most competitive in the wedding business. You will not regret hiring this team of individuals for your wedding needs. They are just AMAZING!

Victor did an excellent job djing music for not only our wedding reception but also during our ceremony. He is an excellent read of a crowd and kept the right beats jamming at the right times. Can't say enough good things about him. He's the best!

We hired Rick as our DJ, for our 8-7-15 wedding. He was amazing at making sure he played the type of music we wanted. Two of our guests went to weddings the following weekend and both told me They literally sat around talking about how much fun my wedding was because of the DJ! I received many more compliments. We were totally satisfied and rick far exceeded our expectations!

Chris was our DJ for our wedding last year and he did an phenomenal job! He did the music and sound for our ceremony and DJ services for our reception. When the ceremony started I heard the music start...well I had forgotten my bouquet. I was freaking out because the music had already started, but we couldn't start without my bouquet!!! Chris continued to loop the music for my wedding party while one of my groomsmen ran back to get my bouquet. As soon as everyone was back in place, the music flowed perfectly. Then, while my husband and I were getting pictures done, Chris was inside playing music while my guests waited (and used the photobooth!). I have heard numerous times how Chris made sure no one was on the dance floor before we got there. He correlated with my photographers and the staff at my hall to ensure everything was according to MY wishes. The rest of the night our dance floor was full. He played the perfect music to keep people on the floor all night. Here it is a year later, and we are still hearing about how great our DJ was!

Chris was the DJ at our 9-25-15 wedding. He was amazing and kept the dance floor rocking all night. They had to turn the lights on to get us to leave. We have had compliment after compliment of how fun our reception was. If you want a stress free, fun filled reception this is the company to hire. The photo booth was also a big hit.. The thing I appreciated most is how Chris coordinated with the venue staff during the reception and I did not have to do anything but relax and enjoy my evening with my husband, family, and friends.

We had jared dj for our wedding on sep 19th, he was amazing. We had a smaller wedding, and he still kept people on the floor packed the whole night. So easy to work with and worked well with our photographer. He took so much stress off our backs. Guest were coming up and talking about how great our dj was. I would highly recommend jared, metro music to any of my friends.

We hired Rick as our wedding reception DJ, and couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out! We met with him several times before the big day, and he was very helpful with all of the questions we had. He coordinated with the managers of the reception venue and photographer so the whole event was stress free, which was a huge priority to us! In addition we had the uplighting and Photo Booth which I would also recommend. Guests really enjoyed the Photo Booth and we loved going through the memory book of all of the pictures at the end of the night! Metro Music has very reasonably prices, especially if you are interested in the Photo Booth as well. Ultimately, the DJ is the MC of your wedding reception, and Rick was a wonderful MC. I would highly recommend Rick and Metro Music!

Metro music was amazing and I wouldn't recommend any other dj to do a wedding. They made it really easy on me and my wife to just enjoy our wedding and not worry about things flowing properly and he did great to accommodate to my request of having karaoke at my wedding also. Rick was hands down the best dj I have ever came in contact with. With all the weddings my husband and I have attended we have never experienced such an amazing time. Rick was extremely helpful from day one. Being a bride you have so much going on that you forget to add details. When I would remember them I would send rick a quick text and he was immediate to respond with a happy answer even know I knew I was bugging him :) He kept everyone on the dance floor all night and guided the best men and maid of honors as to when they male their speeches. All 4 of them said he made it easy to talk. I would hands down recommend Metro Music for any event. In fact my husband and I are trying to figure out what we can plan next to have Metro Music DJ. Thank you for making our wedding day as special as you did!!!!

If you want a rockin party do not hire anyone except this company they had our wedding sept 12, 2015 rockin the casba......we could not be happier. So many compliments from all the guests. Metro Music Entertainment was by far the best wedding vendor we booked! Chris French, was and is, so much more to us than just a DJ- he is a friend, professional, and someone who was committed to making our wedding day amazing. Each time we walked into the Metro Music office we were treated like family. Chris helped walk us visualize our wedding day and paid close attention to all the little details that go into making the day unique.

We will never forget Metro Music and the blessing they were and are to us!

Metro Music is amazing! Chris French was our DJ at The Roostertail, Detroit. This was an easy decision for us- we know Chris as a very talented DJ and musician. I had complete confidence in hiring Metro Music. Being a bride is a very overwhelming time in our life, and hiring high quality vendors takes so much stress out of the planning process. If you hire Metro Music, you will get a professional, dependable company that knows how to have fun!! So one less thing to stress about--they deliver!

We selected a package which included tons of lighting, a custom monogram light for the dance floor (I loved this and it made for some awesome pictures) and the red carpet photo booth (guests loved it). This package was all I could have wanted. So worth it! The music sounded incredible all night! Chris knows how to coordinate a night, sounds amazing on a microphone, and definitely knows how to work and read a crowd. Even if you have some guests who do not like to dance, he will get them on the floor!

The right DJ can make or break your night. Chris had me (the bride) dancing ALL night long! I would highly recommend Metro Music. DJ Jared is awesome too. He was Chris’s assistant for the night and made sure to ask several times how my night was going. No question--Five stars! Ask about the snowball dance and newlywed game- seriously a blast!!!

Rick was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He was so flexible down to making changes the night of during the reception! He provided our DJ service, up-lighting and photobooth! He did so awesome with our tough crowd of non-dancers and got everyone dancing with the snowball dance which he had recommended to me! Thank you Rick so much for making our day so great!

Metro Music Entertainment was hands down the best choice we could have ever made for our wedding. The way Chris interacted with the crowd and had every single person on the dance floor was just what we were looking for. Chris and the team at Metro Music Entertainment are hands down the best DJ & entertainers in the metro Detroit area. Aside from the professionalism, flexibility & overall cheerfulness during the planning of our wedding, they felt more like invited guests by the time the wedding came than people we had hired to help us pull off our big day! Chris was absolutely wonderful to work with!! I would highly recommend him (and already have!) to anyone looking for a DJ that will make your night memorable! My husband and I are still having our guests tell us that they have never seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding!! My husband does not dance and the music selection Chris played had my husband on the floor the entire night! I would highly recommend the Newlywed Game and the Snowball dance! The Newlywed Game was really fun and our guests laughed their butts off during this part of the evening :)

So happy that my husband suggested Chris for our wedding, he was amazing. The planning process was much simpler than I had anticipated. He walked me through the day and asked all of the questions, totally accepting my decisions and special requests, but also helping me a lot in all of the places that I had absolutely no idea what I wanted. He worked with our venue and our photographer during the wedding and gave me much less to worry about. The wedding went very smoothly thanks to Chris and everyone had a great time. We had guests ranging in age from 11 to in their late 70s and absolutely everyone was on the dance floor and having a great time throughout the night. Everything I asked for was done (ie; announcements made and reminders given) without affecting the party. He took as much stress and pressure off of me as he possibly could and I will always be grateful for that – he was even the one who got me from the bridal suite when it was time to walk down the aisle! I would recommend Chris and Metro Music to anyone planning a wedding 

Chris and his Son from Metro Music did our wedding and my wife and I loved working with them. They were flexible and easy to work with. Chris made a perfectly balanced set of music for us that both fit they style of music we liked while also playing music that our older crowd enjoyed. Metro Music made it a point to incorporate and communicate their services with our other vendors and always kept the stress of directing a wedding down so my wife and I could really enjoy our reception. Chris had great communication during our reception and helped us direct events flawlessly. Chris really got to know the different diversity of our families and played music to highlight our traditions. Metro Music is known for packing dance floors and for us they really delivered in that aspect. Chris was able to make dancing comfortable for even our more shy guests and in the end everyone had a wonderful evening. If you are looking for a DJ service who really knows how to make a successful and fun reception look no further than Metro Music. I would personally recommend their services to anyone who is looking for an easy, fun, and memorable reception for a great value!!

Chris was the DJ for our wedding. Chris was a friend of mine and I wanted to give him some business, but after the wedding I realized that this was the best decision that I could have made. He was so professional. He made sure that everything went smoothly. When it came time for the actual dancing to start, people were on the dance floor from the beginning right until the very end, something that doesn't happen at all that many weddings. Even if the rest of the DJs are half as awesome as Chris is, they're still better than anyone else out there! I would recommend Metro Music Entertainment to everyone!

Jared was our DJ. He was very open to any ideas or last minute changes we needed. He worked well with our coordinator and photographers. Our wedding party danced all night and enjoyed the mix of music Jared had. He was quick to play request, or think off of his toes and play the right songs at the perfect moments. We had many people ask about our dj, and where we found him. Im sure there will be many more happy customers just like us. DJ Chris did an amazing job at our wedding! He really took the stress of of me and allowed me to relax and have a good time. I put all my faith in him, and he delivered. My friend and family agreed it was one of the most entertaining and fun weddings that they have been to. Chris also provided beautiful uplighting for our reception, abd the music for our ceremony. Never once was I worried that he didn't have a handle on things or that he wouldn't keep the party going. We used the photo booth service as well. There were tons of fun props and the memory book they made for me was fantastic and completed by the end of the night! Awesome business and an all around awesome guy!

We are so glad we chose Metro Music for our DJ services! Chris was an amazing DJ at my best friend's wedding a few years ago, so we remembered him and contracted him for our own wedding (across the state in St. Joseph Michigan). He was very professional and flexible, as he was playing at a venue he had never played before. It was great having Chris help us through our wedding day letting us know when things would happen and guiding the reception, Chris made our wedding day even better! We were so pleased with the services provided by our DJ, Rick, at my daughter's wedding. I had spoken to Rick about some of the requests we had in regards to the timeline of events and he assumed me that I was not to worry - that it was his job to make sure guests knew where to be, when and that he would make sure a all went according to plan. Not only was he able to do this, but he kept the dance floor packed all night long with the great dance music he had selected. Chris was an excellent DJ and we could not have asked for better! He did whatever he could to make our night special for us and all of our guests. Chris from Metro Music was amazing to work with! He had DJ-ed a friend's wedding, and done an excellent job, so I always thought in the back of my mind to call him when I started to plan our big day!

From our first phone consultation to the night of the wedding, Chris was nothing short of professional and of course super fun to work with! I live 3 hours away from where the wedding was taking place. Metro Music is extremely organized and made planning very stress-free.

I would recommend Metro Music to anyone who is looking for a solid DJ with an extensive music collection (we had some crazy requests - Barney, Reggae) who can work a crowd well & keep the energy right for the entire reception. Who does a Pro DJ hire to DJ his wedding? METRO MUSIC!

As a pro DJ (www.djRayG.com) all my family and friends expected a top notch DJ at my wedding. A lot of people asked if I would would DJ my own wedding. I considered it, but Metro Music gave me a better option. With years in the business I know what to look for and when someone is giving me a line. Chris was completely straight forward and made the process simple and fun. We experienced superior customer service and communication. He knows when to ask questions and give advice, but will work with any special arrangement you might have for your special day. Metro Music was easily the best vendor we dealt with in the entire process. As a DJ I know how brides can wait to book a DJ last and try to save a couple of bucks. I never understood how a couple could justify spending $25,000-$50,000 on a wedding and less than 5% entertainment for their guests. The entertainment portion says a lot about how you feel about your guests as the entertainment is specifically for them. We went with the largest package Metro Music offers. We and our guests were not disappointed. I didn't get a ton of compliments on the flowers, photographers, venue, or church but got tons of compliments on the DJ. Make sure you do the generation dance and the snowball dance. It might have been the our guests favorite. Our only regret is not going with the photo booth. After seen how much fun friends guests had at the photo booth, I really wish we got it. If you are on the fence about wedding DJ's let me make it easy for you. BOOK METRO MUSIC!

Metro Music made our day extra special for us. My favorite part of the reception was starting the dancing off with the bride and groom dance and ending the reception with our song being played again for us. Chris worked the crowd like a pro for sure! He handled all of the wedding reception events like a champ. He made sure that all eyes were on the bride and that everyone's attention was spot on. He not only played great music but he also had a TERRIFIC laser light show! Highly recommended!!!!

The service and professionalism was out of this world. Chris French knew exactly the right songs to play and when to play them. We made an itinerary and he stuck to it. He took all my anxiety about picking the right songs at the prefect moment away and made it a wonderful experience. A few songs I picked for the daddy daughter dance were not too well known and not easy to find but he came through and had them without any hesitation. I would reccommend Chris and the business to anybody getting married. He truly set the ambiance at my werdding and helped make it perfect beyond all my wildest dreams. Kudos to the company.

I have used Metro Music for 2 venues and they are out of this world. Very professional and reasonably priced. Our DJ was fun kept our guests on the dance floor all night long. Our first venue was actually booked with another company. This company canceled on us with out warning the night before our venue. when I called Metro and explained our situation to Mr. French without hesitation said " don't worry I will handle it." And that is exactly what he did! I just can't say enough wonderful things about this company. Metro music will definitely be our choice for my sisters and daughters weddings!

I was so incredibly pleased with the professionalism, expertise and overall customer service of Chris and the Metro Music Staff.

Chris was open to our recommendations and the overall feel of our wedding reception would NOT have been the same without him.

I have had multiple people ask me for the information to book this company for events due to the high level involvement of the "crowd" at our wedding. Even my videographer commented that he couldn't believe "so many people got out of their seats and let loose".

Metro Music was an important part of our day and I would recommend them highly to anyone who wishes to have a fun and highly involved celebration with excellent music!

On 8/30/15 I married my amazing husband in Ann Arbor, Michigan. At the time I lived in Seattle, Washington and was planning an out-of-state celebration. I was referred to Victor Villalobos by my MIL and I have always looked back at his service as a DJ at my wedding and smiled. During our planning stages we interacted over Skype, via e-mail, and on the phone. I had to place a lot of trust in his expertise. With crossed fingers I met him for the first time on my special day and I was relieved and impressed by his professionalism as well as his ability to get everyone excited! He had all of the right equipment for the job, set up speakers outside for my ceremony as well as inside the hall for my reception. The transition was smooth and the sound and lights were perfect* DJ Victor was able to accommodate both my multi-cultural families preference for music as well as my group of friends taste for spirited new pop! Great eh and even better guy. Our one big request is to keep the dance floor full and it was done with ease. All generations had a blast as the music was catered towards the crowd and not just 20 something's. Highly recommended for any crowd.
