Patrick is THE most professional human being you will ever meet, but also the most down to earth. I had absolutely no worries throughout this planning process with him, he was prompt, kind, accommodating, and very easy to talk to. My husband and I had seen him at a previous wedding we had been to about 5 years prior to our wedding date and we knew immediately we would have him at ours. He's a DJ that will have people dancing all night long, we pretty much gave him full range to do whatever he wanted as long as people were dancing and he exceeded our expectations. We had people after the wedding asking for his information for their weddings, we love Patrick and if you don't have him as your DJ you will regret it!

Hiring Patrick was hands down one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding! The music at our wedding was one of the most important things to us, and Patrick completely exceeded our expectations. He understood our vibes, knew exactly what to play to get people on the dance floor, and was just a lively and enjoyable person to work with. Perfect DJ for our wedding
I would highly recommend Patrick for a wedding DJ, he made our evening so much better! He is quick to respond to emails, follows up, and made all of our requests a reality. He understood the mood/vibe we wanted, and I swear I've never seen so many people dancing at a wedding before! He coordinated with our venue so I had very little to do on the actual wedding day. Patrick kept the party going all day long!
We had the pleasure of Patrick DJ'ing our October 19, 2024 wedding. He provided the perfect vibe from beginning to end! Patrick handled our ceremony music/sound, cocktail hour & reception music and uplighting for the reception space. He kept everyone moving & dancing all day long! Patrick has a sleek DJ setup that complimented the event space beautifully. At the last minute, I realized my reception space wasn't offering uplighting, luckily Patrick offers that service, and I was able to tack that onto the package seamlessly. Also, 2 days before the wedding I asked Patrick if he could make a cut to our first dance music. He said it was not a problem and the version he came back with was perfect! Patrick has a great client portal, which kept me extremely organized regarding music choices and decisions on flow of the day. Worry no more about your music. Highly recommend him for your special day, he will do an amazing job!

Stellar dj!
Take it from us - hire Patrick as your wedding DJ. During the planning process, he was responsive, detail oriented, and flexible, and really soothed our nerves as the day approached. On the night of, he was absolutely incredible. He played all of our "must play" songs (and avoided our "do not play" list), made unobtrusive announcements that helped our guests know what was coming next (cake, late night snacks, photobooth), and - most importantly - he kept the dance floor PACKED for three hours. Our guests ranged from age 7 to 97, and every single one of them was out on the dance floor having a fantastic time. Thanks to Patrick, our wedding day was exactly what we dreamed of. We cannot recommend his services highly enough. Hire Patrick for your wedding - you won't be disappointed!

The Highlight of Our Wedding!
The short version - All the reviews are true, Patrick is amazing and you should hire him as your DJ!
The longer version - Patrick was our favorite vendor at our wedding. He was incredibly easy to work with, and took special notes of all of the details we mentioned that were important to us. He is professional and incredibly kind. Those two things go a long way in planning a wedding, and made us feel so confident in our choice right from the start. The ceremony was perfect, he used a wireless lav mic for our officiant so he didn't have to worry about a mic stand. The way he announced our introductions, dances and speeches was wonderful, and the music...wow! We had the goal to get everyone out on the dance floor, and appeal to a few different generations and music preferences. We gave Patrick a few requested songs that hit on these preferences, but told him we'd like to start out the night with some classics, and transition more into 2010 - 2024 pop songs. He delivered big time, even surprising us with some of the awesome songs he chose! It was nice to give him some input but let him do his thing, because he can read a room and knows which song to play next. We didn't leave the dance floor, and neither did my mom!! Such a wonderful night, and we can;t thank Patrick enough!

Best decision!
We worked with Patrick for our October 2023 wedding at The Otesaga Resort Hotel in Cooperstown, New York and it was the best experience. Patrick was so easy to work with. He understood what we were looking for and also helped guide us to decisions we were unsure of. Patrick was amazing on the microphone and was so smooth with dance transitions, speeches, and fireworks. We had a last minute "add-on" with an electric violin, and he was so excited to partner with another vendor. Patrick also was proactive with making sure he was on the same page with our wedding coordinator and photographer/videographer. Our guests are still talking about how wonderful and fun our wedding was, and a huge part of our day's success goes to him, his professionalism, and friendly, outgoing personality. We will forever be grateful Patrick was recommended to us and couldn't imagine going in a different direction. Thank you for everything, Patrick! You helped to make our day so incredibly special.

Patrick was so easy to work with, professional, and responsive in the months and weeks leading up to my wedding. Fantastic DJ - Perfect at Every Turn
Patrick Bergeron was fantastic!! From our first meeting with him, he made every effort to get to know us personally to understand how he could create the best experience for our wedding. He was very accommodating to our schedules and super responsive to all of our questions leading up to the big day. Patrick was very helpful getting our large outside ceremony mic'ed up so that every one of our guests could hear each and every word. He was adept at moving between our two locations - ceremony and reception were at different locations, and you wouldn't have known he had to transport everything from one place to the next because he didn't miss a beat, all was so seamless. Patrick was perfect at orchestrating the night, from introductions to speeches to first dances. And most important to us, he was incredible at reading the energy of the crowd and keeping everyone up and dancing all night long. In fact, our guests had so much fun and danced so hard, that we broke the dance floor. Can't say enough good things about Patrick Bergeron!!

We hired Patrick to be our DJ for our wedding in April 2022 and we cannot recommend him enough! Due to the pandemic we had never met him in person until the day of our event. Patrick was great to work with for our wedding. We unfortunately had to reschedule because of Covid and Patrick promptly responded to my emails. He gave us access to an online music library to select songs for our wedding. I selected some songs but life got busy and I didn’t have time to finish the playlist. Patrick read the crowd and selected music that got people dancing. The sound quality/music was great during the ceremony. Everything was seamless and perfect. The lights were awesome on the dance floor and our guests danced the night away. I highly recommend Patrick at Metro Music for your event!

Patrick came to us as a referral, and he did not disappoint! From the start, which was originally back in 2019, Patrick was a breeze to work with. His flexible yet responsive style worked well for us as music was important, yet not the #1 focus. Patrick put us at ease that there were only a few required steps, and he’d take it from there through his experience and getting to know us better (likes, dislikes, vibe, audience). His online form is simple and captures the highlights. His ability to provide all the audio (mic for readings lavalier mic for our officiant) was a bonus, and everything was set up on time and with ease.

2020's DJ of the year
Patrick was one of the best people we could have asked to DJ/MC our wedding during 2020. We had to drastically change our plans but still wanted some sort of background music/MC to help keep the night rolling, and he stepped up beautifully. Adjusting our contract because of Covid and changing our wedding around was so easy and fluid; it only took one phone call and Patrick was making accommodations without batting an eye. His actions leading up to, and the day of the wedding, made me so thankful we had him in our corner time and time again. The music was perfect, he was able to read the room and make adjustments based on how the night progressed with our little group of friends. I'm extremely grateful that he also does real estate since it gives us another chance to work with him in the near future!

We had a Celtic/Scottish themed wedding and he found some wonderful music to play that fit the theme including bagpipe covers of popular music! Best DJ in the Capital Region!
Patrick at MetroMusic is a must pick for your wedding DJ. He was super responsive, is affordable, gave us access to a database where we could pick our must play/do not play/play if available songs, and all in all was a joy to work with. We also hired him for the uplighting - it looked great & he was able to change the colors during the wedding if you wanted with his bluetooth on his phone. Provided a fun wedding atmosphere, appropriate music & helped facilitate the formalities. All in all a 10/10!

The perfect choice
We hired Patrick of Metro Music to handle the music for the entire wedding day - pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. From the first phone call, we knew he was the right guy. He's funny, friendly, and has a ton of energy. Throughout the planning process, Patrick was super responsive and organized, listened to our requests, and provided helpful feedback. It certainly gave us the utmost confidence in him for the big day. And when that big day came... the dance floor was packed all night! Patrick is the man!
If you are trying to decide between having a band or a DJ for your wedding, Patrick will make it easy for you to decide. Patrick is professional and communicative, engaging, personable and totally chill, which is refreshing in this day and age when it feels like almost every wedding vendor is trying to push their business without really keeping the clients’ wishes in mind. We had a slightly “untraditional” wedding celebration (no bridesmaids/groomsmen, no awkward first slow dance with each other or with our parents, and plenty of roasts instead of toasts) and Patrick was supportive of our vision from start to finish. We got rave reviews about how great he was at both the emcee-ing and DJing! He managed to fit in all our song requests AND included his spin (no pun intended) on a range of dance hits that everyone enjoyed. Even the lights and volume of the music were perfect (you know, not the migraine-inducing kind that makes you regret going out last night). Everything else seemed like a blur on that day, but these things I remember-- what’s a great party without great music, and an awesome dude behind it all? Patrick is the man! We highly recommend Patrick and will use any excuse to book him again for future events!

We loved our DJ, and so did all of our guests!
I cannot say enough great things about Patrick, the owner/DJ for Metro Music. We had him for our wedding DJ over a month ago, and when we see friends and family and reminisce about our wedding, so many guests continue to tell us that our DJ was amazing. Patrick listened to our requests that we sent him ahead of time and blended them seamlessly with songs of his own choosing. He truly got a sense of our style from our requests, which made the music feel specially crafted for our event. He was also more than willing to meet with us in person ahead of time to discuss our event. Not to mention, he kept the dance floor packed all night. If you want a DJ that is professional and can keep the party going but will not steal the show with too much commentary, Metro Music is your choice. You will not be disappointed. Patrick is simply amazing at what he does!

We could not be happier with choosing Patrick as our DJ! After our first call with him, we were sold! Patrick is down-to-earth, creative, and professional. He listened to all of our preferences and requests, gave recommendations based on his expertise, and truly got to know our taste in music - AND totally delivered on the day-of! He read the crowd throughout the night and the dance floor was never empty. Our guests are still raving about how great Patrick was! Patrick makes it fun
Classy, not over-the-top, excellent and broad music knowledge. Hit the right notes and was a huge help in making our day perfect, even handling windy day by the lake just right for the sound. Small things like mic'ing me (groom) so my lovely bride didn't have to worry about it, made a big difference. And he's fun. Lots of laughter along the way to our beautiful day.

Phenomenal DJ
Patrick’s DJing was unforgettable! He easily walked us through the whole music process from before the ceremony to the end of the night, helping us create the perfect soundtrack for our wedding. Packed dance floor all night!
We booked Patrick after he DJ’ed for my brother’s wedding because he was fairly priced and we knew he was reliable and could be trusted to follow through on our music vision (which differed quite a bit from that of my brother’s). What I wasn’t expecting is how much fun it would be to work with him! We had a few great phone calls, he provided some helpful suggestions for announcements and timing, and he was quick to respond to all of our emails and edits. He confirmed well in advance the appropriate versions of our ceremony and formal dance songs that we requested, as well as pronunciation of names for announcements; he played every single song we requested, and filled in the gaps with songs that fit the vibe we were going for musically. The dance floor was packed the entire night and there were tons of guests who raved to us and our parents about the playlist, some even asking for a copy! I now can’t imagine a family wedding without him now. Flexible, communicative, fun and friendly - he’s the total package.

Patrick is a great choice!
No one knows how to pick a dj, but when you’re given the name Patrick Bergeron from metro music, you have to set up a phone call to see if you mesh well. From the beginning he was nothing but an open ear for what my now husband and I wanted on our wedding day. He wants to get to know his couples a bit to figure out your music style. He will do anything you ask- we didn’t want a cake cutting announcement, it was no problem! We didn’t want certain songs played- also never a problem! He will make everyone stay on the dance floor all night and you will leave with sore feet from non stop dancing! Haha so we want to thank you Patrick for making our wedding day music amazing, we loved it!

Patrick is the best!
We cannot thank Patrick enough for being such an awesome DJ on our wedding day at Revolution Hall. First, he is a kind, great guy who responds quickly to e-mails and calls and had answers to all of our questions. Second, he is great at what he does. We had specific songs in mind for both the ceremony and during the reception, and he made sure that all of our requests were played. He also knew how to keep the reception running smoothly and how to quickly get guests up (and staying) on the dance floor. Our friends continue to rave about the music and about how it was the best DJing they have seen at a wedding. Thank you, Patrick, for making our wedding the party we wanted it to be!

We are so thankful Patrick was our DJ! He was amazing to work with from beginning to end. He was very accommodating to our busy work schedules when it came time to meet, which I truly appreciated. I cannot thank him enough for his help and kindness while coordinating our first dance song. Patrick helped me customize a surprise mix of 2 songs for our first dance on short notice, and it couldn't have been more perfect! We chose the songs for the ceremony and entrances, but left the rest of the nights music up to him and he did not disappoint! We also opted for the up lighting and it really added to our already beautiful venue. Patrick is so friendly and professional and made our experience working with him so enjoyable! Great DJ and Great Person!
Patrick was absolutely fantastic and we were so grateful to have him as a part of our wedding! During our initial phone conference, Patrick advertised that he tries to do as little talking/gimmicks as possible and let the music speak for itself, which I loved! When he did have MC duties, he spoke clearly and had a great energy! When DJing, his song choices and transitions were flawless and kept people dancing and singing all night long. One of my bridesmaids, a fellow lover of nostalgic 90s music, raved about him, saying that “he had a transition between a Backstreet Boys song and an N’SYNC song that actually brought a tear to my eye - it was that beautiful.” There were no awkward pauses or lulls in night - he could really feel out the crowd and knew exactly what to play next. Many people said he was the best wedding DJ they had ever experienced!
Outside of his actual DJing skills, Patrick is also incredibly friendly and professional. My husband and I loved working and interacting with him. He is charismatic and no one hesitated to approach him throughout the night with requests. He was also very organized and extremely prompt in answering questions. I cannot recommend Patrick and MetroMusic enough!

Pat was phenomenal.
Before the event he was easy to get ahold of and quickly responsive. Using his website for planning our music and entrances was very easy.
At the ceremony he was awesome. Announcements were well done. His recommendations for minimizing down time proved helpful. He kept the dance floor packed throughout the night. His front lighting was well worth the additional cost.

The most important thing to me on my wedding day was that people had a good time and that is exactly what happened. My husband and I have Patrick to thank for that. The dance floor at our wedding was filled from the time we finished dinner until the last song. Patrick was incredible from the very beginning of the process. When we met him prior to the wedding, we knew we liked him because he was extremely professional, organized, knowledgeable about the process, and he was straight to the point. That's an important quality if you are an indecisive bride like I often was. Patrick heard out what we wanted and provided input to make things go the way we envisioned. He was also responsive and EASY to work with which is everything you want when you’re planning an event. Patrick’s style on the mic is extremely tasteful and we loved the way he introduced us for the first time. He didn’t spend the whole night on the mic, instead he announced the key moments and kept things moving smoothly. Once people started dancing, he did such an amazing job of continuing to play songs that the crowd was responding to. My husband and I received SO many compliments about our DJ. I know how much deliberation goes into choosing a vendor, but you really do not need to look any further, go with Patrick! We have zero regrets and would choose him again in a heartbeat.

Wedding stuff is starting to settle down and we wanted to thank you so much for all of your help throughout our wedding! We've been through so many weddings and have developed so many opinions that we were planning on creating a laundry list of things to play/not play, how to handle requests, things to do/not do, etc., but once we sat down with you a few weeks prior and you talked through the details you placed a blanket of calm over both of us. When Ashley and I left, we both agreed that you were on top of it and let's worry about the rest of the wedding. This turned into such a great gift in itself as there was one less thing to worry about. Ashley's never heard this so she'll be reading about this for the first time, but I remember being up on the stage prior to the ceremony before the bridesmaids walked out and I'm trying not to look back to see my beautiful bride. I look at the audience and in the back I see you and I remember thinking to myself "this is going to go great and everyone's going to have a good time." And you really came through. You dealt with a bunch of logistics that never even crossed our minds, you were such a professional. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, so much so that we extended the venue contract and requested additional shuttles to come hours later. The servers and bartenders all made a note to tell me that this was the best wedding they had all season. This was an especially hard thing to do given our guests ranged from college kids to seniors to family from overseas that have never been to the US. Over the last 2 weeks, Ashley and I have gone to Maine and she's really getting sick of me humming Runaround Sue, so you may be getting a call from her. Patrick, thank you for all that you've done, our wedding turned into such a great event, we could not have done this without you. FYI our wedding was 14OCT2017 - DZ

From the start, Patrick was incredibly responsive and helpful. He really took the time to understand what we wanted from a DJ for our wedding. His website was a great tool for us to organize not only the songs we wanted played at the wedding, but also the timeline of the wedding day. Before our big day, Patrick took the time to reach out to us to make sure he had the most up to date details for our wedding, and was willing to make last minute changes (even incorporating an email sent at 1am the night before the wedding!). On the big day, Pat arrived at the venue early to set up and make sure everything was working properly and to introduce himself to our other vendors. During our reception, he did an excellent job reading the crowd in determining what songs to play next. There was never a time during our wedding that the dance floor was empty! His MCing skills were also top notch and helped contribute to an awesome wedding. Pat created a wedding experience that our friends and family are still talking about!

Patrick was amazing! I cannot recommend him enough. From our initial phone conversations, to our pre wedding meeting, and then to the day of, Patrick was so fun, professional and knowledgeable. He really took the time to get to know us and made sure we were all on the same page about everything. Patrick was the perfect combination of everything we were looking for in a dj - professional, so fun, kept the party going, did not overpower with his own agenda or ideas of how our night should go. He provided great insight when I was having a hard time picking song choices and he knew the perfect songs to play at the most perfect moments. The dance floor was packed the entire night and we received so many compliments about how great the music was. He did an amazing job of coming to us and asking us when there were some questionable song choices by our guests and really made sure that everything was as we wanted. We had a few last minute unexpected changes and he rolled with the punches and made everything so seamless. We had guests ranging from 6 years old to 87, and he had every single person out on the dance floor the entire night. We couldn't have asked for anything better! We cannot give enough praise to Patrick. He far exceeded our expectations! Having been to weddings where the DJ's music choices were less than exciting, we were a little nervous about what to expect. Patrick not only eased those nerves, but we have been told by multiple guests that he was by far the best DJ they've encountered. He played a great range of music that allowed for all generations (including an 88 year old grandmother) to get up and dance and was great with accommodating last minute changes. Patrick also did a phenomenal job with the up-lighting to make the room look spectacular. He was easy to get a hold of, always enthusiastic about our day and just a pleasure to deal with. We received so many compliments on our DJ. I was swaying in my seat during dinner to his lovely song choices, and a few family members commented that he played it at the perfect volume. He worked with our must-play list, but kept the dance floor packed all night. I loved every one of his choices, and one of my friends couldn’t stop gushing about his transition between, “And a Britney song was on”…to an actual Britney song. Patrick was wonderful to work with during the planning process and on the day of our wedding. Patrick provides a planning website that the couple can select their music and give him an idea of what type of music you are looking for. The night of the wedding, he uses that list to entertain your guests and then adds some selections of his own to keep people on the dance floor! It was important to us that people stayed on the dance floor all night and that is exactly how it went!

Patrick Bergeron was our DJ for our wedding on 8/6/17. Patrick was super personable, very professional and organized. He did an amazing job keeping our dance floor packed and every guest was happy (and we had quite the age range from 18 years to 91 years). Patrick even surprised us with a special song at the end that made our night just so much more special, unique, and memorable. Patrick at Metro Music was a pleasure to work with. He is such a nice man that treats you like a friend, but is also very professional. Patrick was very helpful in coordinating the timing and order of our reception events. I knew we were in good hands with Patrick and as a bride, having that assurance takes away a lot of the stress you may have.
Patrick kept our party going by providing a great mix of music. He has a great client portal to help plan for your event including must play and do not play songs. If you are looking for a classy, professional, and talented DJ; look no further than Patrick. We found him online and found out he did one our friends from college wedding, from there the review said it all. Right from the first phone conversation ( as we were far away from our venue area), he was extremely friendly and informational; you really got the sense of "no hidden fees or catches" . We kept our commmunication through phone and email strong as well as using his online planning portal flight up to our date making everything very easy. On the night? Nothing short of perfect. He didn't dissppear, start playing his own tastes in music, or crank the volume up too much; all things we have experienced and did not want. While he stayed true to our list, he felt the vibe and made sure to keep tat floor filled at all times. It takes a lot of skill to keep the party going without becoming involved in it, and he did it with ease. Patrick made the night all time, and we couldn't have asked for a better choose in music. Patrick was nothing short of amazing. He was so responsive to any questions we had and accommodating to all our song choices, even my dad's crazy father/daughter dance mash up. He played a great mix of music and kept the dance floor full all night. He is energetic and you can tell he takes great pride in his work. Patrick is second to none when it comes to his work. He is more than we could ask for and we'd hire him again in a heart beat. Patrick made sure to listen to our every request and fallowed through on every single one! His attention to detail and willingness to work with us, allowed us to relax and enjoy our wedding night. Patrick is great! We are so happy we chose him for our 10/22 wedding at the Canfield Casino! He was so easy to work with throughout the entire planning process. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, he helped tremendously with putting the flow of the evening together - from the ceremony to the reception . We decided to add on the LED front board and do uplighting with Patrick as well, which completely transformed the casino and absolutely astonished us! It was so beautiful, and set the entire mood for the evening. His equipment is top notch. Everything looked and sounded amazing. His introductions, announcements, and music were perfect. We definitely recommend him 100%!

What can I say about Patrick?! As any bride will tell you our wedding was Amazing!! It's been two years and people are still raving about how much fun the wedding was. The dance floor was packed all night long....we danced so hard we actually broke the dance floor! The day before the wedding I still had not chosen entrance songs. So overwhelmed and in a panic I called Patrick and he reassured me it would be fine and he took care of it all! A bridesmaid stepped out of the wedding days before so the lineup was changed and again he just rolled with it all and made me feel so at ease with this big twist. I told him we liked 90's music and he ran with the idea. Any time I hear that someone is getting married one of my first questions is do you have a DJ yet? Make it Patrick at Metro Music. I want to get married again so I can have him play music!

Patrick was absolutely the best DJ ever! From start to finish, he really listened to us and cared about what we wanted. Plus, we had such a great time planning everything, it felt like hanging out with a friend. Patrick had worked with several of our other vendors before, which was a huge bonus, because everything ran incredibly smoothly. He had some great suggestions about songs and brought up some great points we didn't consider on our own. (I.e. No one wants to watch a father-daughter dance that's 6 minutes long. You can only rotate on the spot for just so long before your guests lose interest completely.) He was also really flexible, accommodating and on our wedding day, the music was so perfect. He totally picked up on our tastes and style from the limited selection of songs we provided. We, and particularly my husband, had requested that no country was played, and warned Patrick that after our families had some drinks they would demand the most ultra cheesy country of all time. He was legit like a music bouncer. Even after my father-in-law attempted to bribe him with a $20, he refused, and no country was played! I'm not a total tyrant, so eventually I agreed to a song or two, but Patrick would not play anything we didn't specifically approve, which kept me laughing all night. He also spoke clearly and pronounced everyone's names perfectly! Bonus: he recommended a great contractor to help us with our kitchen renovation. Really what more can I say? Patrick was awesome, if you're lucky enough to have him available on your date, book him immediately! We love Patrick!

While searching for DJs for our wedding, we spoke to multiple vendors and after speaking with Patrick of Metro Music, we knew without question that he was the perfect fit. We were looking for someone who would remain professional and not try to be the life of the party, and Patrick was just that. While planning our wedding 1,000 miles away, Patrick was very easy to get in touch with and be flexible with our schedules to discuss our music vision over the phone. He created the exact mood we were hoping for in both the cocktail hour and reception. Trusting him and his judgment, we gave him a “play” and “do not play” list, however also gave him free reign to do what he needed to keep the party going and he did just that. Two nights before the wedding I was having second thoughts on my father-daughter dance song and late that night, Patrick helped me find the perfect version to play. He was not one of those in-your-face DJs who is constantly on the mic and handing out props (although he may offer that if that’s what you’re looking for) so he displayed the professional demeanor we wanted in a DJ. Patrick was able to read the crowd and visualize songs which kept our guests dancing the entire night. At one point in the night, my husband and I looked around the room and all the tables were empty….because Patrick had them all up dancing, even our 84 year old grandmother! We had several guests comment on how awesome our music was and even had a few newly engaged couples ask us for his contact information so they could book him for their wedding. Patrick – you were awesome to work with and we could not have asked for a better party! Thank you for all of your help and suggestions along the way to make our special night a truly memorable one!

We are beyond THRILLED with Patrick and his services for our July 23rd wedding at Revolution Hall! Patrick was always available whenever we needed advice or had questions. Music is very important to us, and we have no complaints. We gave him a handful of must plays and do not plays- and he was sure to follow our instructions completely, we ended up playing a do not play at a request of a guest and it turned out to be one of the best songs of the night! We chose to upgrade to the light board and it was a fantastic choice, it made our pictures look beyond fun and beautiful! If we could do it all over again we would choose Patrick in a heartbeat, and will if we are ever in need of DJ services in the capital area again.

Patrick is the absolute best! Not being from the area, we talked on the phone and I knew even without meeting him in person that we wanted him at our wedding! We booked him immediately! His communication was superb and I loved that he was able to work in Google Drive with us, as we are always on the go! On our actual wedding day, Patrick was flawless! His state of the art equipment did not stick out during our ceremony and his sound quality through the nigh was perfect! He was set up early so we were ready to go right on time! When it came to our cocktail hour and reception, Patrick again was fantastic! We got so many compliments on his playlists and how all the songs were perfect! He knew exactly what to play for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing! We were incredibly lucky to book Patrick as our DJ! We were nervous about a lot of things when it came to our music selection and almost ended up making our own playlist. We are SO glad we didn't end up going that way. Patrick was amazingly easy to work with and very communicative throughout the entire planning process. We met once in person, he got a feel for our style right away, and after that we communicated primarily via email. Patrick was great! During the wedding, his song selections were great - ALL of our guests were out on the dance floor for the very first song - no exaggeration. It's what every bride and groom wants and it was so awesome to see! His introductions and announcements were perfect - he's got a great voice and awesome enthusiasm.
Day of, Patrick arrived early, coordinated with our ceremony musician (they coordinated via phone prior to wedding day), and was setup and dressed professionally well in advance. In addition to DJ'ing the reception, he provided the sound system and wireless lapel microphones for our ceremony. The sound was perfect - clearly audible without sounding like we were at a rock concert.
What I didn't realize as we initially selected our DJ is that the role is about much more than choosing songs. The DJ really controls the flow of the evening. And, my husband and I didn't know where to start with piecing our reception together! Patrick was extremely helpful, in the weeks leading up to the wedding, establishing the flow of the reception with us. He stepped through the whole thing and, based on what we did and didn't want included, suggested different options for how things could run. He made great recommendations on what should be at a set time and which things worked better with flexibility. I felt so comfortable and confident having our reception in Patrick's capable hands. Highly recommend!

My husband and I cannot say enough nice things about Patrick Bergeron from Metro Music. From the beginning of our planning process, he was very timely in his responses, and was genuinely excited about our ideas. The week of our wedding, he sent us an email to let us know how thrilled he was for our upcoming wedding. Being a bride, you can't hear that enough haha... And then the Monday after our wedding, he sent us another email to thank US for having HIM! The reality was, we could not thank him enough for everything he did for us. I truly believe our wedding would not have been as great as it was without him. We had roughly 20 people (no joke) pull us aside to let us know how awesome the music was. There was not a moment during the dancing portion of the wedding that our dance floor was empty- I don't know about you, but I had never seen that at any wedding I have ever attended as a guest. Basically, you need to book this DJ. Patrick is professional, has an inviting personality and will not leave you or your guests disappointed :)

He made putting together our wedding day playlist extremely easy by speaking with us a few weeks before the wedding and sending us an outline of all the important song moments and our must-play and do not play song list. I left a lot of the sons up to him and he is a complete professional. During introductions he was upbeat and energetic and played the perfect first few songs to get everyone out on the dance floor. He kept the party going the entire night and played the perfect blend of music for the older guests as well as the younger ones. Within minutes of meeting Patrick, we knew he was the guy for us. He immediately put us at ease with his friendly personality and congratulations and as he described his style we breathed a heavy sign of relief. We knew Patrick would bring the party without putting on too much of a show - something that was particularly important to us. Patrick is a professional in many ways. His website set up lets you organize your song selection with ease, he is extremely timely in his responses (I'm an emailer!) and he helped us set up our evening adding suggestions without being pushy and never make us feel silly when he asked us about things we'd forgotten to consider! Patrick was taking changes and song requests up until the evening before our wedding and would simply shoot back "Sounds great, you got it!" letting us know our happiness was important to him. We couldn't be more pleased with Metro Music. Our wedding had a great mix of our taste and party favorites. There was one song my husband did not want played that we compromised on to be a "only play if requested" (it's a popular dance along song) and when it was (inevitably) requested, Patrick made sure to play it while my husband was out of the room! We had such a great time with Patrick at our wedding! We knew after our first phone call he would be a great fit. He's so easy going and you can tell he really enjoys what he does. He's not over the top like some other DJ's we talked to.
Patrick did the music for our ceremony, cocktail and reception and it was perfect. We only gave him a few suggestions on music and some DNP songs and let him play what he thought was best. He really knew how to work the crowd and threw in some surprises for us too. We danced almost all night.

I would like to give Patrick 10 Stars!! Awesome experience and he made the night flawless--from the very beginning, he was so easy to work with, and he was fun! Being out-of-state was no issue for Patrick, he was accommodating and readily available when I had any questions via phone and email. The night of the wedding, our reception was pushed back almost 2 hours due to a shuttle mishap at the ceremony. Patrick made sure we received our full reception time, staying an hour later to keep us on the dance floor! He even did two special song requests for my husband and I and the dinner music and dance music was exactly what we had asked for. Thank you, Patrick, for making our night a ton of fun and one to remember! You are the DJ we will always recommend!

Patrick was recommended to us by Katie O’ (friend and wedding planner). We were looking for a DJ who was articulate, professional and not someone who wanted to be the life of the party. Patrick was just that. During the planning process Patrick answered all of our many questions and met with us to get a feel of who we were and go over our list. The day of Patrick kept us on track so seamlessly that we forgot he was even there. We would get a few glimpses of him working with the staff to figure out timing etc, but other than that he was the man behind the curtain keeping the party going. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our recent wedding at the Sagamore Resort. Patrick was amazing and made everything so easy for us every step of the way. We hired Patrick Bergeron of Metro Music to be the DJ at our July 24th wedding in Troy, NY. From our first meeting we felt immediately comfortable. He just got us. He understood exactly what we wanted and was able to carry out that vision on our wedding day. Everything was perfect, from the introductions, to the speeches, and of course the music. Patrick did not try to become the center of attention. He was there to do the necessary things and to motivate the crowd when needed (not that our guests needed it). Other than that, he was behind the scenes and let the music do the rest. Our other vendors commented about how Patrick went out of the way to work together with them, which allowed the photographers and a friend who was filming to get the best footage possible. I highly recommend Patrick Bergeron and Metro Music for your event.

Patrick did a phenomenal job at our wedding. From day one he was quick to respond to emails and made sure to call us when needing clarification so that he could best meet our needs at the wedding. We had a dance off at our wedding and he made it possible. It was awesome! We also had a very large wedding party and requested individual songs for each couple to walk out to. He was completely up for it without any hesitation and made sure to constantly remind us that he would do anything we wanted since it was our day! He was such a pleasure to work with and I would recommend him whole heartedly! Thank you Patrick for an unforgettable evening!

I'm so glad we had Patrick as our DJ, he did an amazing job! One of my biggest wishes for our wedding was that everyone was on the dance floor having a great time and Patrick definitely achieved that! Patrick was extremely attentive to my husband and I and extremely flexible with music selections. He played a wide variety that suited all of my guests preferences and we could not have had a better time! From the wedding music website he gave us to the phone meetings to the wedding, Patrick was extremely professional and helpful every step of the way!

If we could give 10 stars, we would!! Patrick was an awesome DJ and we would recommend him to anyone looking for someone who knows exactly what they are doing and will keep the dance floor full all night! He played the music for our ceremony and the reception. Both were great and exactly what we wanted. He is great at reading the crowd and keeping the flow of the evening going smoothly. Our wedding night was perfect and we owe a large portion of that to Patrick!

Patrick did a great job for us at our wedding. He handled the ceremony and the reception. He played the music we requested and handled a venue that is challenging acoustically. Patrick also did a good job of switching out of a song if people weren't engaged. Our reception was so much fun and Metro Music was a big part of this!

Very helpful in planning, offers great suggestions and is never pushy. Patrick works very well with other vendors and always insures the Bride and Groom's wishes are met. Fantastic music/perfect flow all evening and kept the dance floor packed and everyone had an amazing time! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

Patrick did a GREAT JOB DJing our wedding reception. He was an instrumental part of the music planning process and offered new and fun ideas to add that "something special" to our recption. Our guests are STILL TALKING about how great our recption was and how everyone spent the night on the dance floor.

From our very first phone conference with Patrick, we knew we picked the right DJ for our wedding. We talked with others, but Patrick’s energy and personality was the perfect fit for the mood we were looking for at our wedding. He worked with us for a number of microphone needs for the ceremony and was on the ball with every other request we had. His relationship with the staff at The Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake made everything run perfectly smoothly all night long. The best part was that he kept everyone on the dance floor until the very end! It was great to see Patrick as excited about our big day as we were. Thank you so much, Patrick!
