  We recently had the immense pleasure of working with the talented duo, Mandy and Sam, from Mermaid Lake Photography for our wedding, and we cannot express enough how thrilled we are with the entire experience. Mandy, the owner of Mermaid Lake Photography, has been our trusted photographer since the beginning of our relationship, capturing countless precious moments and milestones. It was only natural that we wanted to continue this remarkable journey with her, and we were overjoyed to have Sam join us on our special day.

  Absolutely amazing, one of the best choices we made was going with her and her team.

  Mandy did our engagement pictures, rehearsal and wedding day pictures. My husband and I don't really take pictures so we are pretty awkward. She not only made us feel comfortable, but she could tell when I was kind of going through the motions of smiling because she knew I was not used to taking pictures. I quite literally can not recommend her enough. She will be the photographer we use for everything to come!! My whole family and I were and still are absolutely blown away with the way she captured the day(s) and how you could feel the amazing moments in them. Not only is she a kind person, she is really easy to talk to, very communicative, gives amazing suggestions yet isn't pushy, and is incredibly talented with her craft. I was never concerned or worried while working with her about the end result. She made me feel beautiful in all the pictures. You won't regret having her as your photographer!   INCREDIBLE wedding photos!!! Mandy is just the nicest and kindest person ever. She is not only amazing at taking photos, but makes you so comfortable that every photo comes out genuine. I could not imagine a better photographer than her.

  MVP - Most Valuable Photographer! Best in the business!

  Short answer, our wedding was as close to perfect as possible and would not have been such without Mandy and her amazing team! Worth every penny and even beyond such as the work they do is amazing but is far from the only thing you get for having them in your wedding.
  
  Long answer, this sounds cheesy but it's absolutely true when I say that they are "More than Photography/Videography". Mandy was one of the first big vendors we put on our list as we were randomly looking through photographers and loved the portfolio and thought it would be a great fit. After one meeting of chatting with Mandy we knew we HAD to have her as a photographer as she not only does amazing work but was so helpful beyond being a photographer and fun to work with. They are absolutely passionate about what they do and truly make sure they do their best to give you the best experience and results. Working with them felt like I was working with good friends of mine as they are all very personable and fun to work with. They do work very well with others and other vendors so they will always be the perfect fit for your wedding/event you want captured forever. To top it off they don't just capture amazing photos but also amazing memories that will be remembered outside of the picture frames. Also, if you are questioning having a videographer and if it is worth it I say absolutely do it you will not regret it especially with Mermaid Lake Photography. 😁🙌

  Everything we could have wanted in a photographer!

  Mandy is awesome. Jim & I were both marrying for the 2nd time and just wanted the importance of the people around us to be as much of a priority in the photography as the two of us, if not more. Not alot of fluff. She put us at ease and captured our day so beautifully. She communicated frequently and helpfully each time we spoke beforehand without being a bother. Her recommendations and guidance were valuable and not pushy. Thank you for the way your managed everything Mandy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking meaningful loving pictures of us, our kids and our treasured family and friends.

  During the Chaos

  Amanda is amazing and truly the sweetest person. My husband and I are planning a small intimate wedding in May 2020 (hoping it is still on due to the current pandemic). I messaged her one evening hoping to move our engagement session up because I wanted something to look forward to. We scheduled a sunrise shoot for the following day. She woke up at 4 am drove over an hour to meet us and captured the most magical photos. They were edited and sent back to us so quickly.
  
  I cannot wait for her and her team to capture the moments of our wedding day. She makes everything feel and look natural. Trying to plan a wedding is already stressful enough but not knowing if it is going to be postponed is an added stress. Knowing that Amanda will work with us to reschedule or do everything in her power have herself or our team at our wedding day means so much to us.

  Truly Wonderful Experience

  The pictures of our wedding are STUNNING. I couldn’t be happier! Mandy was absolutely wonderful to work with. My husband and I aren’t a picture taking kind of couple, but she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She was very communicative, we had a few phone calls during the planning process to nail down our timeline and make sure everyone was on the same page. We received a sneak peak of about 10 photos the night of our wedding, and the rest of the gallery about a week later. It was so much faster than I had expected, and they all look so good!

  Fantastic!!

  I got married last April and Mandy was absolutely fantastic!!! The package I got included engagement photos which were perfect for my Save the dates! She is so kind and really captured our day in a beautiful way! She was also super quick with getting us our photos! I am so glad she was our wedding photographer!

  Great photographer

  Amanda was so helpful for our wedding. She is very knowledgeable about everything and helped me so much with planning too. I didn’t know anything about weddings going into this but she was so patient and explained the whole process very clearly before hand, and then on the day she took the most beautiful photos. She was so kind and professional, truly and pleasure to work with.

  Amazing Experience

  Amanda and Mermaid Lake Photography was everything I could have asked for and more. I first met Amanda at a bridal expo but it was literally 3 weeks after I got engaged and still 20 months out from our wedding so we didn’t book anything. I met her again at another bridal show 8 months later and knew she was who I wanted for my special day. Her professionalism and timeliness are outstanding. I had all of my engagement photos the SAME NIGHT as our shoot as well as my entire wedding album within days of our wedding. I will suggest Amanda and Mermaid Lake to anyone I know in the future.

I love how quick she is with such a creative eye. She always makes you feel comfortable. The colors and textures of the photographs are always stellar and the lighting is perfect, bright but never washed out. She had always gotten back the photos to me in a very timely manner and I appreciate her quick responses. She truly takes the most beautiful moments in life and captures them forever!   Capturing Every Special Moment

  I waited a long time to watch my beautiful daughter walk down the aisle. What I loved about Mermaid Lake Photography was the way they captured every special moment. I look at the photos often and they still bring a warm smile to my face. The photographers listened to what we were looking for to rrflect the special day. The photos taken by the marina are magical.
