Absolutely amazing!
Words cannot fully express our gratitude to Mandy and her assistant Keri for their extraordinary work at our wedding on August 21st, 2023! Their talent truly shines through in every photograph. The gallery is a dream come true - filled with vibrant colors, stunning quality, and compositions that capture the essence of our special day. Each picture is a masterpiece, beautifully encapsulating memories that our family will cherish forever.
What impressed us the most was the efficiency and professionalism of Mermaid Lake Photography. To receive all these stunning photos within just a week was beyond our expectations! It is really hard to find this level of dedication in the attention to detail and the personalized touch that Mandy brings to her work.
Working with Mandy was an absolute pleasure too! From our first interaction to the final delivery of the photos, she has been incredibly thoughtful, personal, and attentive. Absolutely amazing, one of the best choices we made was going with her and her team.
Mandy did our engagement pictures, rehearsal and wedding day pictures. My husband and I don't really take pictures so we are pretty awkward. She not only made us feel comfortable, but she could tell when I was kind of going through the motions of smiling because she knew I was not used to taking pictures. I quite literally can not recommend her enough. She will be the photographer we use for everything to come!! My whole family and I were and still are absolutely blown away with the way she captured the day(s) and how you could feel the amazing moments in them. Not only is she a kind person, she is really easy to talk to, very communicative, gives amazing suggestions yet isn't pushy, and is incredibly talented with her craft. I was never concerned or worried while working with her about the end result. She made me feel beautiful in all the pictures. You won't regret having her as your photographer! Mandy is awesome. Jim & I were both marrying for the 2nd time and just wanted the importance of the people around us to be as much of a priority in the photography as the two of us, if not more. Not alot of fluff. She put us at ease and captured our day so beautifully. She communicated frequently and helpfully each time we spoke beforehand without being a bother. Her recommendations and guidance were valuable and not pushy. Thank you for the way your managed everything Mandy. Amazing Photography
Amanda with Mermaid Lake Photography is the sweetest! She makes her couples feel so comfortable and she isn’t afraid to get out and do the unusual like take pictures in the middle of a cow field! Her edited style is beautiful and crisp! She does a great job helping couples look natural in the photos. We highly recommend Mermaid Lake Photography. -

Amanda was so helpful for our wedding. She is very knowledgeable about everything and helped me so much with planning too. Amanda is amazing and truly the sweetest person. My husband and I are planning a small intimate wedding in May 2020 (hoping it is still on due to the current pandemic). I messaged her one evening hoping to move our engagement session up because I wanted something to look forward to. We scheduled a sunrise shoot for the following day. She woke up at 4 am drove over an hour to meet us and captured the most magical photos. They were edited and sent back to us so quickly.
I cannot wait for her and her team to capture the moments of our wedding day. She makes everything feel and look natural. Trying to plan a wedding is already stressful enough but not knowing if it is going to be postponed is an added stress. Knowing that Amanda will work with us to reschedule or do everything in her power have herself or our team at our wedding day means so much to us. -

Mermaid Lake Photography is my absolute favorite and go to for any photos I need! She took photos for my music career, the Marine Corps Ball with my now Husband, and my wedding! I love how quick she is with such a creative eye. She always makes you feel comfortable. The colors and textures of the photographs are always stellar and the lighting is perfect, bright but never washed out. She had always gotten back the photos to me in a very timely manner and I appreciate her quick responses. She truly takes the most beautiful moments in life and captures them forever! I’m in love with Mermaid Lake Photography and highly recommend her! -

Best Photographer!
We didn’t really have any ideas on where to go to shot our wedding photos after the church, Amanda was able to find several great spots and make our photos amazing. The turn around time for our photos was unbelievably fast and her response time amazing. I have recommended her to everyone!!! -

Amanda and Mermaid Lake Photography was everything I could have asked for and more. I first met Amanda at a bridal expo but it was literally 3 weeks after I got engaged and still 20 months out from our wedding so we didn’t book anything. I met her again at another bridal show 8 months later and knew she was who I wanted for my special day. Her professionalism and timeliness are outstanding. I had all of my engagement photos the SAME NIGHT as our shoot as well as my entire wedding album within days of our wedding. I will suggest Amanda and Mermaid Lake to anyone I know in the future. -

A dream to work with
My husband and I chose our wedding venue mainly because of the beautiful garden out back. We had envisioned a dreamy cocktail hour out there and looked forward to lots of pictures in front of the vine covered brick wall. Unfortunately, a thunderstorm thwarted our plans, so we decided to run it back for our one year anniversary! We got dressed back in our wedding attire and had a candlelit dinner for just the two of us in that garden.
Mandy was our photographer for the evening and she made us feel so at ease. She was prompt, patient, kind, easy going and took creative shots. We had our kids join us for the photo shoot before dinner and she was just wonderful with them. She wanted to keep shooting until she got the right shot and we are so grateful for that because she captured SO many beautiful moments for us to cherish.
After the pictures were taken, she turned them around and got us the digitital files very quickly.

July Wedding
Amanda was amazing! She spent time helping us plan our day and really made sure we for pictures of everything we wanted. At the wedding she was helpful and kind to everyone, worked great with the rules our church set, and got beautiful shots. Her turn around time was quick and you get so many photos you will cherish forever!!! -
