I bought my Madi Lane wedding dress at Merlili and they altered it to perfection. From the first shopping day through all my fittings, the ladies at Merlili made me feel like a valued guest. Their great selection and personalized assistance helped me find the dress of my dreams! :)

Most Amazing Wedding Dress Shopping Experience

I had the most amazing experience with Merlili Bridal Boutique. I was specifically interested in trying on Wona Concept dresses because of a sentimental tie with the Ukrainian designer and Merlili more than delivered. I worked with Manuela who is an absolute treasure!!! She is so nice, professional, and highly informed and educated about all the dresses, designers, etc! I wasn’t really sure about style or silhouette so she made sure I tried several different types of dresses until I knew what I liked best. I ended up doing an Avrora dress with Yasmin overskirt and let me just say wow!!! I’m so in love with my dress and wish I could wear it over and over again! You definitely need to visit Merlili. You will be eternally grateful!

A perfect experience!

My wedding dress team (mom and best friend) and I, traveled to Miami for a two-day dress hunt/girls vacation! The customer service with Merlili was great from the beginning, from prompt response here on Wedding Wire, to flexibility when I needed to change the date due to COVID. My appointment was early in the morning during a week day and we had the store to ourselves. My consultant Maria Teresa was so caring and knowledgable. I loved the dresses she chose and was really happy that she allowed us to also look around the store and choose options. Seriously, the selection is absolutely gorgeous, I literally felt like a kid in a candy store! Thank you to Maria Teresa for her patience, even when I decided to honor my other appointment I had that day. Ultimately, I returned, and said yes to a stunning Wona Concept gown! Maria Teresa stuck around after hours so I could come back and officially say yes to the dress, complete with pictures and a glass of champagne. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Merlili! :-)

Amazing Place!

I had an amazing experience purchasing my wedding dress from Merlili Bridal! Maria Teresa was such an awesome consultant, she really helped push me out of my comfort zone and what I originally envisioned I wanted. I ended up going with a completely different style than what I went in wanting and I absolutely love it. I 100% recommend this shop, if you can book with Maria Teresa you won't be disappointed!

Find a One of a Kind Dress Without the Stress

From the moment I walked into the shop, I fell in love with Merlili. The shop is so beautiful, open and well-organized with hundreds of gorgeous dresses and accessories to choose from. With the help of my consultant, I picked out about 8 dresses to try on and as fate would have it... the one dress she talked me into picking was my absolute favorite once I put it on.

After finding "the one" the ordering and alterations processes were a breeze! Although I know alterations were pretty hefty for the seamstress, (I'm 5'0 and the train on my dress was unreal!) she finished everything in a timely manner and to perfection!

OH and did I mention I live in Tampa!? I only made 3 trips to the store and was able to work it around my scheduled trips and with plenty of time before my wedding.

I love Merlili Bridal and would 100% recommend it to anyone who is looking to have a show stopping dress (without the stress) for their big day!

Merlili is a great place. They have beautiful dresses and very friendly staff. They will make you feel like home. I felt in love with my dress from the very beginning. I ordered extra stones for my dress and they did a great job!!! I LOVE MY DRESS

Marta is a sweetheart!

I purchased my dress today from Merlili. Marta helped me and she was the sweetest. She was adaptable, patient, and honest. I am very grateful for her helping me find a dress after trying on hundreds at other stores. My dress was well-priced as I got an overskirt and dress for half the cost of what I would have had to pay elsewhere.

Most amazing bridal salon ever!

Had the best experience here ever- Marta was so sweet. She let me pick dresses I thought I liked as well as choosing ones that she should would fit my vision and my body. Luckily, I found my dress on my first visit. I did not have to look at any other bridal boutiques for my dress. Merlili answered all of my questions, had my alterations done in 1 week (so fast!!!!) and I loved every inch of my dress. Other than our wedding food and vows, my dress was the number 1 thing our guests raved about. One of my husband's friends even told us that he wanted to RE-marry his wife and make her wear my dress because it was so amazing! Couldn't have felt any better than I did in my dress from Merlili

Great experience, staff was very friendly and genuine

I found my dress here after looking at a lot of different places in Miracle Mile (Coral Gables). They had the most affordable pricing based on what I wanted. Also, the staff is very friendly and genuine, I did not feel like they were pushing me to get a dress right away.

Seriously the BEST service! Merlili was my last bridal shop of my experience. I had had a tough and long day and was beginning to feel discouraged, until I walked in here. Their prices were amazing, their bridal consultants were amazing, and my seamstress was amazing. I cannot say enough good things about them.

I was on a budget for my wedding, and the Miracle Mile bridal shops were all so pricey and I was shocked when I saw how affordable they were for couture gowns.

I was also on a tight time constraint (my engagement was only a few months) and they made sure it got here in plenty of time, even following up with the company that made the dress multiple times with all my requests and inquiries.

I was so nervous about seeing my dress that the second it came in they let me come look at it to calm my nerves. It really felt like a big family in there and it was so amazing. Even the seamstress who spoke mostly Spanish (which I do not), never ONCE got frustrated with me and worked her absolute hardest on my dress and it came out better than I could have ever dreamed.

I HIGHLY recommend Merlili for all of your Bridal needs! They hear your vision, and know exactly what you are looking for and are so so sweet and helpful!

Everyone at Merlili was an absolute pleasure to work with from day one! They helped me pick out a dress that was a perfect fit for me, were patient and kind throughout the entire process and didn't push me to choose a dress that didn't look perfect! They were so nice and friendly and were genuinely excited for my wedding! They have a wonderful selection of dresses (I wish I could have left home with all of them!) and such sweet customer service unlike anywhere else in that area. I've recommended them to several brides already and everyone has been pleased with their selection and service.

Marta Marta Marta!!! This lady right here!!! Ok let me gather my thoughts...lol...My mother and I decided to go to Miracle Mile to shop for my wedding gown. From the moment I walked through the door Marta greeted me with a smile and the warmest heart a bride could ask for. I pulled about 7 or 8 dresses and Marta helped me get into all of them, I felt like I was being dressed by my Latin Godmother. Then when I tried on THE ONE her and I looked at each other in the dressing room and said "This is It". I showed my mom the dress and she agreed but I thought it was too soon to decide (Merlili was only the 2nd dress shop I'd been to). So I walked out the store and went next door with Marta's voice in my head saying "you're going to come right back," and boy was she right. I walked into my 3rd dress shop and nothing compared to the service and dress selection like the one I encountered at Merlili. I went back the same day with a smile on my face tried on the same dress for the 3rd time and said YES! this is it!.

To future brides don't get lost in going into every store on Miracle Mile. Just walk into Merlili and you're bound to find the designer and style you're looking for. And trust me if it doesn't fit you well, Marta will tell you :-)

I can't wait to go back for my fitting!

Merlili bridal had the dress that I had been searching for! They hemmed it perfectly considering that it was a very difficult material! I felt beautiful on my wedding day. The store is very clean and the staff are welcoming and nice.

Where do I begin! Dress shopping was so hard for me. I was looking for a specific dress and none of the bridal shops in my area had it. I placed a call to Merlili Bridal Boutique, and it has been nothing but a positive experience since that day! The ladies are all so nice, and they pay attention to every request that the bride has. A lot of bridal salons are focused on making a sale. The ladies at Merlili were more focused on what I liked, what I felt comfortable in, and making sure I enjoyed my dress shopping experience. They have a wide variety of dresses to choose from, and thank God I caught my dress during a trunk show, so I was able to get a discount! I don't know where I would have gone, if I had not stumbled upon Merlili Bridal Boutique!

Great customer service experience i had with Merlilli. I mostly dealt with Lily, the owner who was exceptional. She made sure that my dress and experience was perfect. I found my perfect dress at Merlili Bridal Boutique. The first time I went to the store was without an appointment (just planned to window shop). The staff invited me to try on dresses if I'd like even without an appointment. The staff was friendly and never pushy. I didn't get to do a first fitting until 2 days before my wedding (since I live out of state) but they were able to do all the alterations that same day. My dress fit perfectly and was everything I ever dreamed of. They had a great selection of dresses, veils, and accessories.

Merlili was the best wedding dress experience I had throughout my wedding dress shopping experience. From the minute you come in, it is welcoming with no stress unlike the other bridal shops in Miracle Mile. Marta immediately assisted me in picking and trying on dresses without making me feel rushed. I had to come in three times for alterations but the dress fit perfect on my wedding day! I could not have asked for a better experience. I also had the opportunity of running into the owner quite a few times and she was always so sweet. Overall, Marta is so patient and gave me that genuine warmth feeling every bride deserves to have when shopping for the most important day of her life.

I had the best experience with the Merlili family, yes that it what I like to call them. Beautiful dresses and very competitive prices given they are in Coral Gables. My dress was more than I dream come true!!!!! The staff were always so nice and the store has a very personal feeling. I had gone shopping all around miracle mile and other stores in the area for wedding dresses and finally arrived at Merlili. I was so happy when I walked in and the staff there made me feel so comfortable and at home. I knew the style of dress I wanted and the store found the exact dress for me. They also even let me modify the top. The dress turned out so perfectly and beautiful! I could not imagine it any other way. I received so many compliments on the dress and the accessories I got at Merlili, which were my veil and belt. They were all so beautiful. I had a great experience with my dress at Merlili. They were all so great.

Merlili was a blessing. After a long day of shopping for my dress, I stopped into Merlili and I did not think I would be successful, because I wasn't successful with the previous stores. However, Martha one of the bridal associates who is very sweet by the way told me to try on one more dress. Boy I am sooo happy I did. It was beautiful it was exactly what I was looking for in my dress. The process for ordeingr and paying was a smooth one and they even offered a discount which was great!!! Martha was the best bridal associate, very calm, sweet and professional. She made me feel like a princess and called me that everytime..hehe. Alll in all I had a great experience there and I strongly recommend them to anyone.

I was so in love with my dress on my wedding day! After shopping at several other stores and boutiques I was beginning to feel frustrated that I hadn't found anything. Thankfully I ended up in Merlili. Everyone was so wonderful, kind, and professional there and I found a dress and veil that were PERFECT! It was a little bit of a drive for me, coming from Jupiter, but it was totally worth it! I would recommend this shop to every bride!

so if i could give merlili more than 5 stars i would!!!! amazing service from the moment i walked in.

i dealt with lily the owner and she was an absolute sweetheart. she was very attentive and focused on trying on the dresses. and she even helped me squeeze into a dress that was 2 sizes too small "bc you never know" and it was THE DRESS i fell in love with.
if it wasnt for her knowledge and expertise i may have overlooked that dress. the prices are also really affordable but the fabrics and styles are very fashionable and don't look cheap.
she also carries a great variety of accessories and bridesmaids dresses. bari jay is my favorite line and she has them.

my dress arrived really really fast (4 months before my wedding), i immediately went to try it on but didnt go back for 2 more months to start alterations. josefina the lady who does alterations is amazing. she comes across a little tough/cold at first but by my final fitting she was a sweetheart! marta the lady that you deal with up front is nothing short of a class act. so attentive and personable. and lilly of course is a sweetheart always gives her honest opinion while making you feel like a million bucks.

we took in my dress quite a bit then had to take it out a bit so i could sit comfortably. the dress was originally strapless, but i added a whole top piece to cover the back and add a gorgeous neckline. then i had a cap sleeve set made so i could change the look of my dress after the church ceremony.
they were super accomodating to my every request!!

oh and my bridesmaids were all super happy with their dresses that we ordered there as well!!

they have great prices and prompt reliable and responsible service.

I think this shop deserves an award for dealing with me. It's a very small dress shop on the mile that not many people know of. I found them on a whim when walking by and am so glad I did. Whenever I walked into the other stores I didn't feel comfortable and felt pressured to buy something. This dress shop was different and they always made me feel like family. I would call and always knew who I was talking to and they knew who I was. The first day I went in and tried on dresses I went with my mom, aunt, and my niece. They were picking things I did not like and I was getting so confused and frustrated about everything. Lili, one of the owners, picked up on this and actually kicked my mom and aunt out of the dressing room and had a heart to heart with me alone, it was then that she told me she had the perfect dress for me. When I put it on I lost it crying, it was perfect! I walked out and everyone started crying also. I owe my dream dress to her and can say nothing negative about a shop which always made me feel like family. My bridesmaids also got their dresses here and there was never an issue there either. I also want to add that the dress I bought was $300 more at a shop a few doors down! Talk about it being fate that I found Merlili... I love love love all the girls here!

I got a Kitty Chen Couture dress (they are the only authorized retailer of Kitty Chen in Miami) and although I went in roughly 5 months before my wedding, they got my dress to me in time complete with alterations. They even stayed open late one night so I could go for my fitting. Prompt, polite and so genuinely caring and excited for me. It was beyond my expectations.

We loved them so much my bridal party purchased their dresses from there as well.

I loved them and still adore my gown!!! :) I will definitely go back for any other formal event I have!

I was having a really tough day shopping for my dress. I didn't fit anything properly and people were trying to sell me something that I didn't really like. All this was going on when I went to Merlili and they made me feel fantastic!!! I was able to see lots of dresses and the girls calmed me down and helped me find what I wanted. I thought that the dress I wanted was going to be really expensive but it was very reasonable. The alterations department was able to change the dress that I picked out exactly the way I wanted and in a day! They were awesome :)

I also got my headpiece there and absolutely loved it!

The ring my husband got for me was from Merlili, and it was a complete surprise. I didn't know he ordered it, but he told me afterwards. From the ring itself, I would have to say that it is a very beautiful and classy ring, looks very high quality.

Wonderful wedding store, had all the choices to look for amongst rings. Very comforting and east to talk to staff, made finding the right ring easier. Would definitely recommend on their performance with us and helping us find a ring, I really appreciate it and am very happy I bought my ring from Merlili.

Merlili is a one of a kind bridal store, from the moment you walk in you are being helped and attended too. Lily and Martha attended to all my needs and requests. Every time I called the store Lily and Martha knew exactly who I was and they took care of me on personal real level –great customer service. Buying my wedding dress and my bridesmaid dresses from Merlili was the easiest choice I made in my wedding planning. I highly recommend Merlili, it is a top notch store.

From the time I walked in the door, I knew this was the place I would find my dress. Martha was so helpful and actually selected my dress which was a dream. They made a number of alterations that were done to perfection. The level of commitment to the bride and her dress was amazing! If you want that one of a kind dress with a high level of attention Merlli is your place.

After strolling up and down Miracle Mile we finally found this great store. Most stores in Miracle Mile and Fort Lauderdale carry basically the same dresses with little variation, but Merlili definitely has an authentic collection, unique, elegant and with comfortable prices. I loved my gown! Just what I was looking for, just perfect. The staff was incredible right from the beginning! During my first fitting I hadn't had a change to grab a snack or anything and I nearly fainted, one of the salesgirls, Patricia, immediately brought me some cookies and rushed outside in the rain to bring me a coke. Definitely an experience! The seamstress did a great job as well. Great service, great collection and even relaxing!

I found my gorgeous gown at this great shop. It was the last shop that I went to on my first big day of dress hunting. Merlili's pleasant staff was a nice change after leaving the store next door where the obnoxious owner was very rude. I loved my dress! My workouts meant that I lost a lot of inches between my purchase and my wedding day, but their seamstress is amazing. The dress fit perfectly. When I was shoe shopping, I needed a swatch to match the right color, and one of the owners, Marie, mailed one to me right away. Note: I had a one-point french bustle. I hear that bustle buttons pop off a lot at receptions, mine did. My recommendation would be to ask for more than one button to be sewn on, even if it's a one-point bustle. (I'm not even sure if that exists, but maybe it's possible).

My dress was beautiful. The staff were friendly. my dress came in on time and the alteration was done with care and thoughtfulness. The seamstress even came to the hotel after hours to bustle my dress for me.

The whole staff at Merlili was very friendly and welcoming. They weren't on top of you when looking through the dress, which I appreciate. The dress I bought arrived on time, although the alterations weren't done on time, due to circumstances out of their control, they made sure I had my dress on time. Overall it was a pleasure working with them and I would recommend Merlili to anyone. Thank you!

After visiting another bridal dress store the day before and not having much luck, I decided to give Merlili a try. I found them on Wedding Wire and saw my dream dress that I had seen on Pinterest in their collection. Upon arriving at Merlili I was greeted in a professional manner by the staff. I was asked if I had a specific design in mind and I immeditaly showed them the dress that I had seen on their site. They pulled out five dresses that fit that style. I tried on each dress and fell in love with each one a little more. The last dress that I tried on I knew was THE dress for me. It was exactly what I was looking for and I knew it was the one the moment I stepped into it. The prices are a bit high, but you do get what you pay for. It is also Miracle Mile. I would definitely recommend Merlili to any future bride looking for a dress that will make everyone say "WOW!"

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into this boutique. They have beautiful dresses,awesome ambiance, great service, and reasonable prices. I absolutely loved working with Marta. She made me feel very comfortable from the moment she introduced herself and also recommended what would become MY DRESS! I tried on numerous gowns there and once she saw what I liked, she had her recommendation which I really appreciated. Since this was my first stop of many that day in Miracle Mile for bridal dresses, I went to other bridal stores and came back at the end of the day to purchase MY DRESS. The dress took 6 months to arrive and it fit like a glove. All I need now is alterations to hem. So happy to have found my dress here!

I loved loved loved my dress! The best part was when I walked in the people that worked there said they had the perfect dress for me in the back before I even tried any on. I was skeptical about trying it on (it wasn't what I was looking for), but I tried it on and it was the PERFECT DRESS. I felt like an absolute princess. The only issue I had was that the dress was WAY TO BIG when I finally got it. They must have messed up with my measurements (which cost me a lot in alterations).

Martha is one of the sweetest salespersons I had the pleasure of meeting. As you will see, not everyone is like this.

Martha and Lili make you feel very much at home. The store is quaint but be patient, you will be able to find the dress of your dreams. They listen and try to accomodate more than many other vendors do.

I really enjoyed shopping for my wedding dress at Merlili's Bridal. They allowed me to take pictures of the dresses, gave me the designers names and were very patient. Other nearby stores on Miracle Mile refused pictures and would not give me the designers name (which made it very difficult to make a decision, I felt very rushed and found out that the same dress at Merlili's was $200 less). Merlili's was very responsive when returning phone calls, etc. but I wish they had better hours and were open for Sunday fittings. I highly recommend them!

Their dresses are beautiful and affordable! I came in with a specific idea but my sales person helped me find the perfect dress that really fit who I am. Their alterations are exceptional - she took in the corset on the dress and it fit perfect!

When I first visited Merlili, the ladies was very nice and very helpful. I found what I was looking for in a matter of minutes. They were very patient as well. Everything was perfect up until my second fitting. The dress was too big and the seamstress seemed very stressed and flustered about the whole thing and did not make me feel at ease as she kept telling me that she didn't know if she would be able to haev the dress ready for the wedding. Fortunately it was but I had to end up paying like an extra $400 for alterations which I did not believe to be my fault. I was very happy with the end result though as the dress, veil, shoes, and the jewlery was beautiful.

The owner, Lili, is super, super nice! The seamstress is lazy and would not fix my dress until Lili came in and told her what to do. I had to go in several times to have my dress fitted to where I felt comfortable in it and even the night of my wedding, one of the straps broke because the seamstress did not reinforce it the way I had asked her to. Lili needs to fire her because otherwise, her business is amazing! She has the best prices I found on Miracle Mile and she makes everything ok if there is a problem. I bought my rehearsal dinner dress and shoes, as well as my tiara and veil from her because she is so wonderful and the products she has are great. She has good taste and helped me put together my entire look with my veil and tiara to match my dress. Please don't disregard her store based on my reviews of her seamstress, get your dress from her and take it somewhere to be altered. Lili is wonderful! Her seamstress sucks.

Merlili is the most beautiful bridal boutique on Miracle Mile. The store layout is very open and airy; I could have spent all day there.

Marta was the saleswoman who helped me and I LOVED working with her. She was truly a dream to work with, from beginning to end. Her warmth and ability to make you feel like you are the most important person in the world are what make Merlili so special. Marta listened to what I wanted and she nailed it when I found the dress of my dreams there. Thank you, Marta! You truly made shopping for a wedding dress a wonderful experience.

I would have given Merlili 5 stars, if not for the alterations experience. The week of my wedding, the alterations on my dress were still not complete. I had to come in a couple more times before finally picking up my dress, 1 day before the wedding. It was very stressful, but in the end, the dress did fit perfectly and I was very happy with how I looked in it.

Lilly, the owner, is darling and her feedback during my alterations was very much appreciated. When my maid of honor could not be there for one of the last fittings, Lilly stepped in and absolutely made me feel like she was on my team. It was comforting to know that she too wanted me to look the absolute best on my wedding day.

I wish I could give the a 5.0, because my dress was beautiful. There was just a big mix up with my fittings which ended up leaving my first and only fitting 4 days before the wedding, but it all turned out well, the dress fit great and bustled perfectly. So in the end, after a moderate amount of stress, things turned out good.

Merrill has a great selection of dresses and great prices. The ladies on the sales floor are very helpful when it comes to picking out your dress. Be aware that dresses take a very long time to arrive. My dress took five and a half months to get in. Alterations also take a very long time, I had adjustments made to the bust and hem of my dress, this took two months. When I arrived to pick up my dress, the seamstress was still working on it! She was not very kind when my mother and I asked her to fix a few things. I think she is the only seamstress at the store, and she seemed a bit overwhelmed. I would definitely give a 5/5 if it were not for how long the alterations took and for the attitude of the seamstress.

Overall a good experience. When purchasing the dress they were very helpful and seemed to know what I wanted before I knew. The process to purchase was also simple and the adjustments were a reasonable price. For the final fitting I emailed asking for an appointment and unfortunately did not get a reply. I had to have a friend in miami call to make an appointment. There were some small changes to be made and they didn't seem too happy about it. However when we went back the following day and it fit nicely there was another sales person there who was a bit younger and she was very FRIENDLY and helpful. Definitely would recommend but I recommend that you speak Spanish or have someone with you that speaks Spanish

Sales person (i think it was Marta) pretty much hit the nail on the head, found the perfect gown for me and matched it with a beautiful veil! so far 2 of my girlfriends have borrowed my veil for their wedding. The only problem i had was their restroom was always "out of service" and we would have to walk over to another store. The seamstress was only available on weekdays so i had to use my sick days to get my dress fitted. AND my mom pretty much had to tell the seamstress what to do cause she seemed to not know to fit the dress, but she did manage to do the job right.

I'm still kind of indifferent about the service I received EVERY time I went into the store. I have to say that my dress was one of a kind and I would not have found ti anywhere else...but with that said, it was a headache everytime I went in. For start, they are a small store with a great selection, but no coputer, no register, it's all paper and pen! That can get a bit tricky once people start scratching out on copies. There were tons of discrepancies and "he said, she saids." Overall, the women tried to help me but their boss was never in and could never be reached...which left us all very stressed and unsure.
Great dresses...poor service...I can't really sum it up any other way.

It is less than 24hrs to my daughter’s wedding and they still haven’t finished alterations on her dress. She had a slew of appointments scheduled after picking up the dress and now all are being missed. Not recommending this boutique.

I guess it makes sense that my overall rating ended up at about a 2/5. I visited the shop 5 times total, and only left happy 2 of the 5 times. The other 3 times, I went home and cried because of the way I was treated there. The seamstress is the NASTIEST and RUDEST person I have ever come across. She would make fun of my body in spanish in front of me because she thought I could not understand! Who makes fun of a bride's body in her wedding dress? We had a lot of issues with the bodice because she just wanted me to have all this excessive padding because she constantly snarked on my flat chest. Some other highlights include my veil not coming in until literally like 2 weeks before the wedding (and it was ordered 11 months out). I was constantly lied to about where my veil was, and they even tried to give me the floor sample as pass it off as my veil (I noticed because there was lipstick stains all over it and the comb was bent). During one of my fittings there was a huge bloodstain on my dress. How gross is that? Blood and expensive wedding dress should not go together. There was only a few associates here who were tolerable. The young blond girl is fantastic and I don't know what I would have done if she was not there for my fittings. The owner is useless - I complained about the veil and was just lied to, and I told her about my struggles with the seamstress and she promised to be there for my fitting. She finally arrived as I was taking off the dress and really did little to make me feel better about the shop - what a shame.

I did end up happy with how my dress came out (although it broke in 2 places at the wedding) but it took a long time to get there (and a lot of sleepless nights and constant fear that I would need to buy a brand new dress). I was an extremely laid back bride but this was such a source of stress. I think they have a good selection of reasonably priced dresses, but I don't think it's worth it for any bride to have the awful experience I had.

My experience with Merlili was very mixed. This is the only negative review I am writing of my vendors- and it pains me to do it. But The reason for the low review is simple. Their alterations seamstress is horrible.

Initially I had a great experience with Merlili- the salesperson Marta was wonderful! She helped me, treated me and my mother like gold, and even picked out the dress I ultimately ended up buying! I love Marta to death.

However- after the sales process- the alterations process took over and it was awful.
The seamstress was cold, and downright rude at times.
First of all she only speaks spanish, and when I struggled to communicate with her in spanish she spoke to me with attitude. Not exactly thrilling during a bride's special time.

My first fitting went ok. But I told her to take in the bust more when she was pinning it because I am very petite and it was a strapless dress. She claimed she pinned it correctly.

The second fitting showed she had done anything but measure me correctly. The top of the gown stuck out off my chest like a shelf. Not only that but there were issues in the back with the slip riding up, and she didn't even do the bustle!
When I pointed out that more alterations were clearly needed she accused me of losing weight (which I didn't and I would have had to have lost 3 inches from each armpit for that to have been the cause..)
and she said she would charge me EXTRA for the additional alterations! Even though it was her mistake. Marta assured me they wouldn't but the damage was done- I had serious concerns about my dress.

My wedding was April 10- the seamstress refused to promise to have the dress done until April 1! That was more than a month after the second fitting! I repeatedly asked it to be done sooner and was told just to stop worrying, it would all be fine.

Well, it was partially fine. When I went in for the third fitting- the bust was fixed (though there was some puckering on the chest area.)

The slip problem had mostly been corrected. But the bustle was completely different than the one I wanted, and she had never bothered to call me to tell me she was changing it!

With so little time before the wedding, I just took the dress as is- afraid she would mess it up more.

Had Marta been in charge of the alterations- this review would have been a 5.

This place is the wrost place for a Bride to look for a dress for her special day. My sister chose to go there and it's a nightmare, they messed up everything with ordering the wrong dress within a week of the wedding, and on top of that wanting to charge extra money for fixing up the dress.
There's NO manager NO owner NOBODY to take care of the situation and they don't take any responsibility of anything. I DO NOT RECOMMEND, DON'T GO THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.

First my dress took an extremely long time to arrive, but I thought hey, it's the manufacturer's fault not the store, don't fret, but when it did arrive they didn't call me I had to call them, then it took them a month to schedule the 1st fitting, then afterwards they were to make simple alterations to the dress, which took two months for them to complete. I asked during the first fitting if they could sew in cups to the dress so I did not have to wear a bra, but the seamstress said it was not possible. She said she would sew down the two layers near the breasts to make it possible to not wear a bra. The alterations were absurd, maddening, and a rip off. All they had to do was take in the sides a tiny bit and sew down the top sheath to the silk under layer in two spots to keep it from shifting around and shape the chest a little. She maybe put it ten stitches in it at most to lock it in place. Then on the front I asked them to sew on a tiny bit of lace to cover a random butterfly in that looked odd and different from the original dress I had tried on in the store, which they forgot to do, even though they had it for two months. Not only did they forget to do this, the sewing around the chest did not sit flat and was wrong. it looked bad in the chest and knew I was going to need to get a new undergarment to make it look right. The whole process took sooooo long and my wedding was only two weeks away, I paid them 220.00 just to get the dress from them and I could have someone else fix it, and I had to buy a 100.00 bra last minute to make the top portion sit somehow close to how it should have been. I wish I had not paid them for these alterations but I was so upset and wanted the dress from them that , I just paid and ran out the door. It has now been four months after my wedding and I have been truing to get some refund from the owner but she does not care about the customer's satisfaction. Please do not use Merlili!!
