Helpful and Professional

Meridian Strings was an incredible vendor to work with. Their music sounded incredible for the wedding and we've gotten several compliments about their performance. They were easy to work with when rescheduling during the pandemic. They also went above and beyond and learned a new piece of music for our wedding! 10/10

They played at my wedding and they were on time, very professional, they even helped me make the best song selection and were able to advise on how to get the best out of them. I would strongly recommend them to anyone regardless of your event.

They made our wedding day more special than it already was.

Huge hit at our wedding

This was probably my favorite part of the wedding. They played so beautifully and all looked so nice! A lot of my friends and family asked for their info. If you come across their page book them! You will not regret it!!!

Wedding Quartet

March 2021 Wedding

Meridian Quartet was asked to play on our original wedding date of December 5, 2020. We rescheduled due to Covid and they were really flexible. The live quartet music really made our event extra special. The musicians were easy to work with and everyone enjoyed!

Beautiful music!

The Meridian String Quartet played at our event at Whiskey Ranch. Working with Drew was a pleasure. He allowed us to pick the music we wanted and they sounded amazing! We will l definitely use them again for a future event!

Meridian was absolutely amazing!! They played a special request at our wedding last month of a song unfamiliar to their normal repertoire and it was absolute perfection! As was everything else they played. Couldn’t imagine our wedding without them!!

Your group was totally professional for the wedding ceremony and reception to follow. Even the curve balls that were thrown at you at the last moment were handled very professionally. I could not have found anyone who could’ve done a better job than the Meridian String Quartet. I work with a lot of bands and musicians and I would not hesitate to hire your group for the next large event requesting any kind of String Ensemble! Thank you for making sure everything was perfect for the wedding at the Mansion.

We had a personal, small family wedding in the Fort Worth Japanese Garden, and the classical music presented by the Meridian Trio created a magical feeling. It was the "wow" factor we were hoping for and set such a romantic tone. The musicians are all professional and their talent cannot be matched. They were so experienced, that they needed little to no direction. We feel so fortunate that they were able to fit us into their schedule.

Amazing!!! I asked for a cello and violin duet to play during the wedding ceremony as a surprise gift to my soon-to-be-husband and they were wonderful! Communicated frequently during the entire planning process, were open to ideas and able to play all of the music selections (wanted more modern music instead of classical). They even accompanied my aunt as she sang Ave Maria during the unity sand. It was very special and made the very rainy ceremony elegant and magical!

Meridian String Quartet was absolutely amazing! It was a dream of mine to have a quartet play at our wedding. My now husband was the one who found them and they were quick to respond and do what they could to help create our dream wedding. Friends and family kept talking about how wonderful they were and I was proud to have them play for us while I walked down the aisle.

Meridian String Quartet is the way to go if you're wanting to add a bit of elegance to your wedding or event. We hired the duo (cellist and violinist) to play during our ceremony and not only were they kind, prompt and professional, they did a fantastic job! We got married on a farm and as soon as they started playing, the cows ran over to listen. It was quite the magical moment. They also spent the time to make an arrangement for a song that we had requested. It was absolutely perfect and I highly recommend them for any event!

The music was amazing!!!!!! I am so glad we chose the Meredian string quartet! From the first interaction to the last they were knowledgeable and helpful.

We got married at Perkins Chapel on SMU and we were only supposed to have traditional church music. We had chosen Beyoncé and many other non church choices. During the rehearsal we realized we had to change our music to traditional choices. They had no issues completely changing the music. At this point , I was like just pick anything traditional and beautiful! They made the best selections and the ceremony was perfect.

I was so impressed with the Meridian String Quartet! Their music was simply beautiful and they played a lot of variety. They played through our cocktail hour and then moved to where we had our meal and played another hour. Every song they played everyone loved. I received many great comments from my family and friends about how good they were. I recommend them for not only wedding events but for any event where you would like to have beautiful music!

The Meridian String Quartet was something that added so much to my daughters wedding . Drew answered all questions and played the music requested by the bride and groom. The Meridian Strings added a nice touch of class to a beautiful wedding for our daughter. The cost was most reasonable . Our guests also complimented on the music as well. You can't go wrong by hiring this quartet.

Drew and the entire Meridian Crew were great!! To start off, my initial inquiry email was answered within a day. Drew gave me several suggestions for our ceremony music selections along with audio clips to hear. We thought we wanted a full quartet, but we were advised to go with a Trio and it sounded just as incredible. The day of the ceremony, everyone was at the chapel and set up right on time, just as promised. The music really set the mood and we had so many compliments after the wedding was over. If you want quality, professionalism without paying an arm and a leg, Meridian String Quartet is your best bet!! Thank you so much, Drew!!

Having Meridian String Quartet play for our garden wedding was the best choice we made. They completely set the mood for a light fun beautiful wedding. We are not in to classical, and sometimes when you hear string quartet that's what you automatically think, although they do play classical they know a lot of contemporary music as well. At our wedding our guest heard everything from The Beetles, "All you need is love", to Christina Perri's, "A thousand years", to Old Crow Medicine show's, "Wagon Wheel". It was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone for any event you want beautiful music.

These guys are great. They provided the music for my wedding and they did a great job. When I contacted them they provided a long list of music to choose from and answered all my questions promptly. They showed up early which was great because it was one less thing to worry about. Their playing was beautiful and I could not be happier with their service. I felt the quality of the service was excellent and the value was great. There was a mistake in our ceremony but the musicians were very aware of the situation and you couldn't tell that we messed up and rushed a bit. Everyone at our event commented on how great the music was, highly recommended!

The cello and violin duet at my wedding gave it that added bit of class and memorability. Drew, the cellist, was my point of contact and he was incredibly patient and informative! They played outdoors at the Botanic Gardens in Fort Worth and the music rang out over the sound and created an atmosphere that was truly beautiful. Thank you so much! Beautiful music! Was the perfect setting for our fall garden wedding. I wanted non-traditional music and they were willing to accommodate my requests, and in a short time too! The arrangements were definitely special, and everyone commented on the choice of music and how it sounded on the strings. Would definitely recommend to anyone having a wedding!!

We hired only for a voilinist and a celloist.We asked for a tune not on their list and they were more than happy to accommodate. This meant the world to the bride. You won't be disappointed by having the Meridian Quartet or Duo play at your event.

Able to provide services on a last minute notice! Prompt and responsive communication with full flexibility. Outdoor wedding on hot day and only requirement was to provide shade and chairs for the musicians. Able to adapt at last minute notice. I misunderstood my contract with the facility about the chairs and Meridian was able to provide flexibility with the Violinist standing for 1 hour.

I cannot say enough positive thoughts about this great group of musicians. Not only were they punctual and exquisite in their performance at my son's wedding, but we communicated completely via emails and phone calls. As the mother of the groom helping with the wedding plans and on a very tight schedule, it was important to me that I could communicate via email/phone and feel assured that our wishes were carried out. They were reasonably priced, extremely pleasant to work with and reliable/punctual and their performance was impeccable. I would recommend these musicians to ANYONE needing this type of music at an event without hesitation.

I'm the father of the bride, and I worked with Drew on the music. My daughter had specific music she wanted, and Drew made sure we had everything we needed. They arrived early, sounded great, and were just a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this quartet.

I just want you to know that if you hire Meridian String Quartet you will be very pleased with the service you get. I had a traditional Hispanic Catholic wedding. I received wonderful assistance from Glori picking out music and doing the music time line for the wedding. I was also very pleased with their professionalism at the service. I had several guest tell me how they enjoyed listening to the music as they waited for the service to begin. As a bride I know having Meridian String Quartet play at my wedding added that very special touch to our very traditional wedding. I would highly recommend you have them play at your wedding.

MSQ was prompt, professional and curteous and the music was out of this world. I have always loved live music during events and prefer creating more formal atmospheres than ones with traditional bands. MSQ was the perfect touch. People still tell me how I threw the most elegant reception they had ever attended...due in large part to MSQ.

This is a very talented group of professionals! They played for our wedding ceremony and were very flexible in allowing us to pick the songs we wanted played throughout the ceremony. The ceremony ran so smoothly and the music was beyond beautiful! They were very accommodating in sending my vocalist an audio to practice her song with them. They also allowed my vocalist to meet with them before the ceremony and practice the day of. I could not have asked for a better string quartet, they made our ceremony so special. The Meridian String Quartet did a great job at my ceremony! They played exactly what I wanted and paid great attention to cues in the ceremony so that transitions were smooth and nothing dragged on. Drew was especially helpful when it came to picking out pieces - he never hesitated to throw out some suggestions. He was also very easy to contact and responded quickly to my emails. All my guests loved them and kept talking about how well they played. I would definitely recommend them!

We found MSQ through WeddingWire, and after reading so many of their good reviews we just had to book them. Drew was very professional, flexible and accommodated a lot of our requests. We had also met in person just to get to know the musicians beforehand, and him and his wife are very nice. I had chosen a new christian song for the bridal party walk-in. Although I had seen many piano covers of it on youtube I could never find the string quartet version for him to use as a reference. We were definitely anxious about it, especially since we didn't have them at rehearsal. I heard him and his group play that morning and they absolutely brought me to tears! WOW! Never did I think it would turn out as great as it did, absolutely blew us away! They did such a fantastic job- from the prelude to the exit song. So glad we decided to hire them because it was the perfect touch to our traditional church wedding. We would definitely recommend them to friends and family! Meridian String Quartet played out our outdoor wedding. We had three string players which sounded spectacular. I was unsure what would be the best setup given our venue and budget and Drew was easy to work with and provide suggestions. Meridian String Quartet helped to make our wedding day wonderful.

I hired the Meridian String Quartet to play at my sister's wedding. Due to helping run things behind the scenes, and then having to help deal with a medical emergency that arose at the beginning of the ceremony, I missed almost all of it. But I had more than a few guests and members of the wedding party later seek me out to tell me the performance was fantastic. According to a couple people, the ongoing presence of the quartet really "saved the day" by smoothing over the little gaps, delays, and mixups that always seem to happen in these kinds of complicated social events -- and as it turned out, we had more than our share of weird delays! The contractor was very flexible when, the night before, we were forced to move the entire thing to a nearby location due to weather. (It was originally to be an outdoor event but we got rained out). Based on the high praise of the other guests, I would definitely hire this quartet again for another event.
