Excellent officiant
Lori was an exceptional officiant from beginning to end on our very special day. She is flexible, adaptive, professional, and she tailored the ceremony to our every want and need. She is quick to recognize a moment that does not go as exactly as planned. For example, my husband forgot the rings in his grooms suite next-door (oops) and she adapted so quickly, pivoting to a prayer we requested while one of our family members quickly snuck out and retrieved the rings. At the end, everyone opened their eyes, and the ceremony continued perfectly with the rings. We are truly so thankful for her experience and charisma.

We had a wonderful experience with Lori from Memories to Last a Lifetime! I met with her over Skype and communicated my thoughts, plans and desires for the ceremony. After deciding to move forward, she provided some beautiful script choices for the ceremony. We chose what we wanted and communicated with her any adjustments we would need. She also checked in via email throughout the process, making a smooth plan for the rehearsal, and helping us with getting our marriage license ready. Our wedding planner found Lori and said she came highly recommended so we had high expectations and she exceeded them. From the moment we connected with Lori, we felt confident about our choice to have her officiate our wedding. She was very friendly, calmed our nerves, and was extremely patient as we figured out exactly what vows to use in our ceremony. She gave us suggestions, thoughtfully critiqued some of the verbiage, and sent pleasant almost weekly emails leading up to the big day! She greeted us with a welcoming smile at the rehearsal and we’re not sure if she stopped smiling as she greeted us the day of the wedding the same way. She left us with a handkerchief that came in handy as the tears started flowing. Your officiant is integral part of your wedding and we couldn’t imagine anyone else marrying us!

My fiancé and I reached out to Lori to perform a justice of the peace style wedding ceremony. This ceremony would be for legal purposes only because we are having a family wedding later this year that is very important to us.
Lori truly cared that our legal ceremony would be memorable and special for us also. She recommended a beautiful location nearby. She choreographed the ceremony so that my fiancé and I began at separate locations and walked towards each other, meeting in the middle and joining hands, before we turned to walk together towards her for the ceremony. When we joined Lori, she gave a personal and heartfelt oratory that made the ceremony even more beautiful.
After the ceremony Lori took a number of photos of us around the grounds to commemorate our wedding and provided a beautiful embroidered handkerchief to catch my happy tears. We are so thankful to have these mementos to commemorate our marriage.
We could not have asked for a more beautiful and perfect ceremony.
It is abundantly clear that Lori loves what she does and puts her heart and soul into it.

Lovely ceremony!!
Lori went above and beyond for us. We lost two officiants back to back and she was recommended to us by our day of coordinator Sandy Figg. We had less then two weeks to prepare and she took us step by step to provide a lovely experience. Thank you Lori!

Perfect spur of the moment marriage

Oh my yes I definitely recommend Lori as a wedding officiant. We decided spur of the moment to elope. I googled local wedding officiants and found Lori. She was quick to respond and communicated with us all week. We headed for a scenic state park with plans to get married outdoors. Well cold rainy windy weather had other plans. Up to one hour prior to our wedding we had no plan B. A few earthly angels intervened and we exchanged vows in a 1907 historic home surrounded by art and period furnishings. It was cozy intimate and perfect. Lori wrote beautiful vows for us .....no one had a dry eye during the ceremony. I only spent an hour with Lori that day but she will forever be part of our special elopement memories filled with lovely rain and many sweet surprises !!!

Lori was amazing, she was the officiant for my wedding on March 24th 2018. Of course living in central IL you never know how the weather will play out. We had a crazy snow storm and she was still there on top of everything making sure everything would be perfect. I loved how much she cared about my husband and myself. From the very beginning, she worked with us and asked for our preferences on style and sent many different options for the readings which we were able to edit as we saw fit. The day of the wedding she was very calm and collected, allowing us to be stress free. She is very personable and caring, which shows in her presence. Planning the ceremony with Lori was by-far the easiest and most low-stress part of coordinating our wedding. She is affordable and brilliant at what she does. We didn't even need a rehearsal--we felt so confident and prepared. She guided us through every detail and aspect of the process and was flexible with the script so that we could fit in our own unique voices on our special day. My husband and I asked for lots of non-traditional ceremony changes (walk the aisle together, circular guest seating, absence of a bridal party, etc) and Lori is such a professional! She was unphased and worked with us to write a ceremony that would be perfect for us! Don't hesitate of contact her if you're looking for someone reliable and experienced!

She was great at responding quickly and helpful in that she would check in with us to ensure a stress free wedding day. Would definitely recommend she did a great job making our day special.

For the ceremony
Everything with the officiant will pretty well in my opinion except a a rather small detail of the hand fasting where the knot was only tied around the grooms hand instead of both groom and bride I’m not sure if this was due to size of the cord or simply a slip of the cord and not wanting to correct in front of everyone to possibly hold up the ceremony but, it does kinda mess up the experience for the individuals involved. Other than this small detail I’d say the officiant did a good job at the ceremony.

Quick, professional, and affordable. Made my wedding a lot more than it would have been with a more expensive or less professional vendor. I am very pleased with my choice.
