Stunningly Perfect Music!
Melissa kindly stepped in when our original harpist was unable to play for the wedding, and she was so kind and helpful as we made the transition! She confirmed that all of our ceremony music was correct with us on a phonecall, had a phenomenal selection of music to choose from for the pre-ceremony music and during cocktail hour, and I can definitely say that walking down the aisle to Dearly Beloved from Kingdom Hearts played on a harp is the best experience of my life to date (other than marrying my husband of course). Melissa’s playing was absolutely stunning, we heard nothing but amazing things from other guests and loved what we heard during cocktail hour. Thank you Melissa for stepping in and making our day truly magical and perfect!

Fall Wedding 2025
Melissa was instrumental in the success of my wedding day, I genuinely could not have asked for a better musician. Leading up to the big day, she was communicative and patient with all of my questions, which I so appreciated amongst the chaos of the planning process! She played a beautiful selection of songs ranging from beloved movie score pieces to classic compositions. The melodic tones of the harp were mesmerizing throughout the reception, making for a truly magical experience. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to have a delicate musical addition to their wedding or other event!

We booked Melissa for a harp + violin duo for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, and her and Janet really blew us away with beautiful arrangements! One guest remarked they wished the music could have gone the whole night! We were so impressed by Melissa’s extensive repertoire. The selections of classical and contemporary music really made the ceremony feel magical.

The Perfect Touch of Romance for Our Wedding
Melissa was absolutely incredible and added such an elegant touch to our wedding day. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful experience—the music she played was breathtaking and created the most romantic atmosphere. My dream ceremony!
Honored to have had the privilege of working with Melissa and her team! We had harp, violin, cello trio perform out our wedding ceremony and it was absolutely beautiful.
I must watch my wedding video at least 20 times a day simply to hear the music. I was so moved walking down the aisle and our guests were completely blown away. We worked with over 18 wedding vendors to make our dream day happen - if I had to plan my wedding over again the harp violin cello trio was the team I absolutely could not live without! Beautiful Music for Our Wedding Party
Melissa played for my wedding celebration and her music was lovely! She was very communicative during the planning process and added in a special request I had for Elvis' "Can't Help Falling in Love." She also played other romantic contemporary pieces and our guests commented that they had a lot of fun listening for songs they recognized. Stress-free wedding day music experience!
Melissa was such a wonderful person to work with! I knew I wanted a harpist at the wedding ceremony, but I have next to zero knowledge about what songs sound good coming from a harp. Melissa helped me during the song selection process: gauging what types of music I enjoyed, suggesting songs, and also explaining differences between prelude, processional, and recessional. She made the entire process incredibly easy, which is such a godsend when planning a stressful event! I only had to tell her the wedding day timeline and she made it happen with no issues.
I cannot recommend Melissa enough! We received many compliments about her.

After finding Melissa online and listening to the wonderful music samples on her website, I reached out to her and she was immediately responsive. She was so easy to work with every step of the way and was one of the least stressful parts of our wedding planning experience! Melissa was above and beyond wonderful. So many harpists we messaged acted like we were beneath them for wanting modern songs played. Melissa specializes in them and was a gem to work with from start to finish. She brought our whole whimsical vision together.
On wedding day, the second I walked outside and heard the harp in a distance playing the Princess Bride theme, I lost my composure and started crying. Hearing that beautiful harp made the moment I had been dreaming of since I was a little girl very real. Every time I hear a harp now, I’ll be transported to wedding day and smile to myself. But no one could play as beautifully as Melissa! Book her!

Perfect Atmosphere for Our Wedding
We hired both Melissa and Christine for the harp and cello duet for both our ceremony and cocktail hour. Their music set such a beautifully romantic setting for our ceremony and created a perfect atmosphere for our cocktail hour- I have received countless compliments from our guests.
Both events were outdoors and I could hear them perfectly from the holding area during the ceremony, which was probably about 50 yards away.
I am so thrilled that we hired Melissa and Christine for our wedding - I don't think recorded audio could have come close to creating the same atmosphere they did for us.
I would recommend asking your venue for some amplified audio or a very central location for the performers during an outdoor cocktail hour though since the chatter from our guests had gotten pretty loud by the time we arrived. I did not find that additional audio amplification was needed for the outdoor ceremony though

We originally had hired Melissa to play for our Sept 2020 wedding. Unfortunately, like many other couples, we ended up rescheduling for a year later. Melissa was understanding and responsive while we figured out our new plan. On the day of, the music was perfect. We had a somewhat involved request that involved processing into dinner and continuing right into our first dance and she handled it amazingly. Classy & Memorable!
After finding Melissa on Weddingwire, we also received a recommendation from a family friend that she was the best. Melissa did not disappoint!
We decided to go with the Harp and Violin duo. Melissa was very responsive and had a huge selection of music of varying genres!
My husband is a huge blink182 fan, so we asked if Melissa (Harpist) and Emily (Violinist) could play blink182's "I'm Lost Without You". After providing them with sheet music, they learned it and played it perfectly! (Even multiple times at the request of my husband! :) We received lots of comments from our wedding guests about how lovely the prelude music was. Melissa and Emily really added the perfect touch to our wedding ceremony! Also, considering COVID, they took all the necessary safety precautions to protect themselves as well as our guests. Thank you, Melissa and Emily!!

Beautiful Ceremony Music
The music for our ceremony was beautiful because of Melissa, it made our day so much more special! Melissa also played during our cocktail hour, and it set the mood perfectly for the evening. Beautiful harp music
Melissa was very responsive from the very beginning, answering all my questions quickly before I even booked her. She helped figure out timing and and how many songs we would need to choose plus she learned a custom piece for our wedding which was absolutely perfect. All the music was absolutely beautiful and our guests really enjoyed the live harp. Melissa was super accommodating with the whole covid situation and having to reschedule our wedding. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for live harp music for any event.

Melissa was accommodating & helpful throughout the planning process, and independent during the ceremony. She coordinated well with the officiant. Beautiful ceremony music!
I wanted something a little different, and classic for my wedding ceremony. My mom found Melissa and she was amazing! About a week before my wedding I scoured her website looking for songs to use during my ceremony and was blow away by her selection! There were so many options in all different genres. I ended up selecting "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran for the bridesmaid and family processional, "Can't Help Falling in Love" for the bride processional, and "Here Comes the Sun" for the recessional. To be honest, I was so distracted by everything leading up to the ceremony that it wasn't until I got to the aisle that I heard the music and it was beautiful! She played everything perfectly, showed up on time, and we received tons of compliments on her. I definitely recommend going with Melissa and her harp for your ceremony music!

Melissa was an amazing addition to our wedding ceremony and post-ceremony meal. She made the music selection process as simple as possible with a one-page form for us to note our selections, and even had clips and suggestions on her site to guide us through that! She showed up well in advance and worked with the coordinator on site to set up in a spot that worked for all. And she played beautifully! Such a great decision to hire Melissa. I didn't get to speak with her the day of, but she arrived promptly, played all the songs we asked for for the ceremony, as well as the pre-ceremony and cocktail hour. I asked her to play 3 songs not on her repertoire, and it was flawless. Without being asked, she even played one of the requests both before and after the ceremony, so I'm hopeful we caught it on film (since the videographer was busy pre-ceremony). She was easy to communicate with throughout the process, and was one of the first vendors I booked.

We used Melissa for our wedding ceremony music and were nothing but happy. The music was beautiful, and the harp added a classy touch to the ceremony. I'd definitely recommend Melissa for your ceremony!

You won't regret it. The ceremony was magical and something out of a fairy tale with Melissa playing her harp, she even learned our favorite song for us for the processional!

We were very fortunate to be referred to Melissa; and it was our honor to have her as the harpist at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. At all times, she was a consummate professional, flexible, and very easy to work with. Melissa is an exceptional harpist and her playing is magical; and she was an essential element in making our day so special :-) My husband and I only have one suggestion: Melissa...please do another CD of your fabulous music!! Her CD of lullabies, which is wonderful, was recently given to our youngest grandchild!! Very Highly Recommend!! Connie & Karl

I always dreamt of having a harpist on my wedding day and my dream finally came true! Having Melissa played at our ceremony and dessert reception definitely added a touch to our wedding! Melissa was so friendly and easy to work with. She also kept us on track during the planning phase! She played so beautifully on our wedding. We are just so glad to have Melissa played on our wedding day!

Melissa was a fantastic addition to our April wedding! She plays beautifully!! She was very flexible when we had to move our outdoor wedding indoors due to a late snow. She was able to play every song that I asked her to and really made our wedding so special. Thank you Melissa!!
