  A true & amazing make up and hair professional

  After falling severely ill and being hospitalized during the 2021 holiday season, my (now) husband and I decided to marry within days before the end of the year. Mellissa Mack came highly recommended. Melissa, after hearing my unfortunate situation and being the kind person that she is, literally accommodated me on a whim.
  Melissa is a true make-up and hair professional (not to mention an amazing Lash Technician). She is friendly, talented, creative, on trend, and has an instinct for beauty. I did not have a trial run, because of the time restriction. Mellissa took the time to listen and understand the look I was seeking. I have always loved make-up/hair and can be quite picky. Mellissa captured the look I was envisioning way above my expectations! Mellissa’s intuition and eye for beauty goes beyond the conventional appearance. As the saying goes “a picture is worth a thousand words.” Because of Melissa’s professional and natural make-up application along with my trendy hair style, I am proud to look at my wedding photographs!
  I am forever thankful to you, Mellissa, for making me not only LOOK gorgeous but also Feel gorgeous on my special day!

  11/10 recommend!

  Melissa was AMAZING! First off, she was incredibly flexible and accommodating. We were doing a "destination" wedding (we live on the west coast but family is in Massachusetts). Because of the timing I wasn't sure if I'd be able to have a trial, but Melissa was able to fit me in several days before the wedding, smack in the middle of the holidays. It was so, so appreciated. I also asked somewhat last minute if we could fit in my mom & aunt for hair, and she was super willing to start an hour earlier to fit them in, which was incredible.
  
  I loved my hair and makeup. Melissa took time to listen to what I wanted and asked for feedback throughout to make sure I was happy with how things were looking. I was also FLOORED by how long both my hair and make up lasted. My curls lasted all day, including through a misty, windy beach photo session. My make-up survived and thrived many, many bouts of tears. I am fairly self conscious about my appearance, but I can genuinely say I felt unreservedly beautiful on my wedding day. 11/10 would recommend Melissa Mack Makeup!

  Melissa was such a pleasure to work with!! She made everything easy, arrived early, was a blast to talk with and did a fantastic job!! Her prices are exceptional and her work couldn't have been any better! I highly recommend her for any hair and make up needs you have!

  So great to work with!

  Melissa was so great to work with! She took the time to listen to what I was looking for at the wedding trial and really made it happen (above and beyond). SO happy with the results - I still felt like myself and absolutely love the look she created for me. Melissa took great care of a big wedding party (10 total) and was willing to travel up to Portland, ME.

  Melissa Mack is a lifesaver! Just two weeks before my wedding I found out that my friend/makeup artist would no longer be able to attend. Aside from being sad that she was going to miss the event, I was really sad that my face might have to survive the wedding day without the TLC I knew it needed. I spent 2 days desperately emailing every makeup artist I could find on wedding wire. And, luckily for me, Melissa was able to move her schedule around and fit me in! Due to the stress of last minute planning and work, I was not able to fit in a trial with her, so I really had no idea what to expect. On the day of the wedding, Melissa showed up on time and was so easy to work with. She listened to what my vision was, asked about my regular makeup use, and told me what her plan was before starting. She put the eye makeup on incrementally so that it didn't end up being too dark and so I was able to get the look I wanted, and was gracious enough to leave extra eyelash glue behind so that I could do some last minute touchups on myself, if needed. If I do say so myself, she made me look hot! I was very pleased with the outcome and received many compliments from guests about how beautiful they thought I looked. I just received my wedding photos and I honestly don't think I could have looked better. She accentuated all of my features, but kept me looking very natural and like myself. I can't say enough good things about Melissa- she is professional, attentive, and her prices are very reasonable. Thanks so much Melissa, I really can't express how grateful I am for you!

  I met Melissa a few months after being engaged. I had set up a makeup trial with her and I fell in love with her work. I instantly booked her for my wedding. Melissa was very professional! She did myself (bride), five bridesmaids, & my mother. She stayed with us all morning to do touch-ups as well. I was very pleased with her. Great work! Thanks!

  Melissa's makeup was absolutely breath-taking. As someone who doesn't wear much makeup, I was worried about feeling overdone on my wedding day, but she listened to exactly what I wanted and the results were extraordinary. I looked natural and beautiful and felt like myself, just with perfect skin and gorgeous eyes. My wife never wears makeup and Melissa did a beautiful no-makeup look for her. Our photos were gorgeous! Melissa was kind and lovely and a delight to work with.

  Melissa did a wonderful job of making my bridemaids, mom(s), aunts, and myself feel beautiful. Her technique is flawless and her personality put me at ease. It was so nice to not have to worry about how I would look on my wedding day. I appreciate everything she has done and would highly recommend her for ANYTHING!

She also did all my bridesmaids as well. The wedding party look perfect. I would highly recommend her to anyone that has an event!!! Its unfortunate they only allow 5 stars on here...I would have given her a standing 10!!!
