After interviewing a handful of photographers for our wedding, immediately after meeting with Melissa we knew she was the one for us! She is the most professional photographer we have ever encountered with the most creative and artistic views on how to make your special day even more special! She did our engagement photos as well and are so excited to get our wedding photos back. We absolutely adore her and are so happy that she made our day even more special! -

Melissa is amazing to work with! Taking photos gives me major anxiety and Melissa makes it so painless! She is LGBTQIA-inclusive and open to just about any creative idea you have. She does an excellent job of managing the shoot while respecting her clients and letting what makes them unique shine through. I really can't recommend her enough. My wife and hired Melissa for our wedding and engagement photos and she was a true joy to work with. All of our photos turned out beautifully. I also work in the wedding industry and will be referring my clients to Melissa for all of their photography needs. -

Overall, Melissa was just the best! We planned our intimate wedding from out of state, and she made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. We were able to talk a few times before the big day and she was so responsive, professional, and prepared. On our wedding day, Melissa truly made me and my husband feel so comfortable. Neither of us is used to being in front of a camera, but she gave great direction and captured the most beautiful shots! We will cherish our photos forever. Thank you, Melissa! Highly recommend! -

Melissa is the absolute best! I have been a part of several weddings (8) and she is by far the most professional, kindest, and most talented wedding photographer I’ve ever met. I have the best wedding photos out of all my friends because of her.
She knows how to pose you if you’re awkward like me, and she also knows how to take shots of the most touching and special moments. My absolute favorite moment of my life was listening to my husband say his vows and she was able to take the perfect photo of exactly how I felt in that moment. She made my whole family and wedding guests look gorgeous and she took stunning couple shots too. There is not a single photo she took that I dislike!! I am annoying all my friends and followers by posting photos 24/7. She was the best decision I made on my wedding day. I have photos I am going to treasure for the rest of my life. She is also very COVID aware and she kept members of my family safe by staying 6 feet away and wearing a mask. I am beyond thankful for her and I will recommend her to everyone I meet. I can’t wait until I get to hire her again! -

Melissa was seriously the best person I met during 2020. I was searching for a photographer for a courthouse wedding and she was one of the first person that kept coming up. She was so flexible and funny. For a awkward couple like me and my husband, she made us look good. In the end we had a outside park wedding and it was beautiful. -

Melissa absolutely crushed it on all levels. Not only is she a consummate professional and delivered AMAZING, GORGEOUS photographs of our courthouse ceremony, but she is a phenomenal person all around. Warm, friendly, kind, organized and communicative, she made a normally stressful situation (let's be real, wedding days can be very stressful) and made it an absolute JOY. She provided direction and encouragement, made my husband and I feel completely at ease, which translated into our intimate ceremony being captured in stunning, high quality photographs I can't wait to share with family and friends, and display in our home. Melissa truly went above and beyond, and I can't say enough positive things about her. Love, love, LOVE!!! Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. :) :) :) -

She was amazing. We asked for more natural kind of photos instead of posed family photos and she did EXCELLENT! we wanted candid shots and they turned out amazing. She has a lot of knowledge about lighting and how to use it and it made for some beautiful photos. 10 out of 10, would use her again! -

God bless Mel for being so patient with me, I am such a procrastinator and am finally getting around to vendor reviews (I got married in November). Mel is one of the most amazing humans I know. She took amazing pictures of my best friend’s wedding and has done a mini session with my wife and I previously. Melissa takes beautiful candid photos and knows how to make even the most awkward of clients feel comfortable in front of the camera. She genuinely cares about her clients and you see the passion with every click of her camera. The photos came back just in time for holiday cards too! I can’t wait for her to photograph more of our family’s milestones in the future. She is a true artist and a heart of gold! Hire her! -

Okay, so we are in love with a Melissa! She was so organized worked with our timeline and made everything incredibly easy! We were never stressed and for goodness sake, she even helped me with my veil! Like, what?! Melissa will Forever be our go to photographer for any future events. I give Melissa a 5/5 stars! Love love love her work, her style and her passion! -

I first met Melissa in college in one of our photography classes. Such a sweet person inside and out. We both graduated together and I continued to follow her on her page because I loved her work! I knew many years before I actually had to find a photographer that I wanted her. What a pleasure to work with her and her husband, Nick.
If I had any concerns..my only concern before hiring her was being so far away. We actually live 5-6 hours apart but Melissa made it so easy for us. We had tons of family in the DFW area so we liked to go visit a lot and we also took advance of those trips to get our engagement photos done, meet with her multiple of times, she had a busier schedule than us!
If I had to give any advice to women planning there wedding on a budget, I would say splurge more on the photographer. Melissa was reasonable priced, in my opinion, and we cant wait to see the final photos! She got our sneak peak to us just a couple of days after the actual wedding! Talk about FAST! We will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives. Thanks to Melissa and Nick for capturing our special day when we became ONE! -

Colorado Destination-Elopement
I found Melissa through Instagram, during what seemed an endless search for the right photographer for my wedding. Her portfolio had everything I was looking for: candid expressions, natural poses, and minimal editing. Our engagement pictures included our dog in a big public space—and Melissa took it all in with ease. She understood our nervousness at being photographed for the first time and provided great direction to keep us on track. Our destination-elopement came together beautifully with her insights. Battling ever-fluctuating mountain showers, she was able to perfectly encapsulate our perfect day. I could not have asked for a better photographer!!! -

We met a few weeks later to discuss details, pricing, etc., and I booked her before we left the cafe. Melissa is very professional, yet down-to-earth and passionate about photography. She communicates quickly and makes sure that everyone is pleased and on the same page. I've received my bridal portraits and the sneak peeks of the wedding, and I'm so eager to see the rest because I know they'll be perfect. If you're looking for a reasonably priced photographer who really knows what she's doing, then snag Melissa before she's taken by someone else! -

I can't imagine it without them! Melissa kept everything flowing throughout the day and kept us ahead of schedule. Melissa also worked with us on our engagement photos. She knows all of the best places! I can not say enough good things. If you are looking for an amazing photographer, look no further!

Lori Sent on 03/27/2017Choose Melissa Claire!!! She knows what she's doing. She is calm, experienced, and really fun to work with. The best thing? We got 45 (!) beautiful, amazing, gorgeous pictures of our wedding THE VERY NEXT DAY. What an incredible gift, especially for my husband and I to soak in right after the wedding. The also best thing, Melissa came to our rehearsal dinner in lieu of doing bridals or engagements, and she was able to capture our closest friends and family as we enjoyed the whole weekend together. We truly appreciate how flexible and professional she and her team are. You should call her today!!
