We are so grateful to the entire team at Melhorn Manor for making our wedding day happen!! It's hard to even know where to begin - from start to finish, every detail of the day was magical thanks to the team's hard work and expertise.
When my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process, we toured plenty of venues, but we knew right away that Melhorn Manor was different in the best way. We were used to being rushed through other venue tours, dismissed because our wedding wasn't big enough, and generally being made to feel more like dollar signs than excited newlyweds-to-be.
But our experience at Melhorn Manor couldn't have been further from this - we met Allory for the tour, and before we took a step through the property, he took the time to introduce himself and the Melhorn family and to share the lovely story of how Melhorn Manor came about. We didn't feel rushed or pressured like we had at other venues, and Allory really took the time to understand our vision for our big day and help us imagine it around the property. We left that day glowing and feeling sure that "this is the one!"
And how right we were!! We really can't say enough positive things about our wedding day. Getting ready in the amazing bridal suite and Groom's room was such a fun and special way to kick off the day. As the ceremony approached, it was so clear that the team was all working so hard to make sure all the decor was set up, every detail was thought through, and every moment went off without a hitch. What a special and humbling feeling it is to have so many people invested in making your special day as magical and memorable as you've always hoped it would be - it's impossible to express the depth of our gratitude.
Our wedding day was quite a rainy one, but the Melhorn team had a plan for everything. Melhorn Manor had the most robust rain plan of any venue we toured: some venues' plans had felt more like an afterthought, while Melhorn offers an entirely separate building that can be used for the ceremony in inclement weather. It was such a huge relief to feel like we didn't have to worry about adjusting every detail on the fly, and to go into our rainy wedding day knowing that, regardless of the weather, it would be just as beautiful and special as we always imagined.
We had and continue to have SO many of our guests, both on the wedding night and afterwards, tell us that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. So many glowing comments about the beautiful venue, the fun had on the dance floor, the amazing and kind staff, and all of the countless details that go into making the day memorable. We couldn't agree more that Melhorn Manor was the perfect backdrop for our special day, and we have the incredible team to thank for all the hard work, attention to detail, and love that went into making this the wedding of our dreams. We, and our families and loved ones, will truly cherish the memory of this day for a lifetime.
We are so grateful to have had the absolute joy of working with Allory, Jess, and the entire Melhorn Manor team. They were enthusiastic, thoughtful, kind, and so organized at every step of the way. We can't imagine what our special day would have looked like anywhere other than Melhorn Manor - what an amazing place that will hold a special place in our hearts forever. We simply can't thank the entire staff enough!! -

A beautiful venue that had everything we wanted and needed for our wedding day! Allory, Jess and staff were all great to work with and were extremely helpful with everything leading up to and on the day of our wedding. They paid great attention to detail and went above and beyond to make our day special for us! They were also so much fun to work and spend time with, and we appreciate all of the stories and laughs. Would 1000% recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in the Lancaster area! -

I don't even know where to begin. Jess and Allory were nothing short of amazing throughout the entire planning process. They were super responsive to our emails, always happy to help, and gave us ideas we didn't even know were possible that made our day even more magical. Their full coordination upgrade was well worth it for the ease of wedding day and all of their staff were so nice and helpful. They even went above and beyond after our wedding day to ensure we had all of our items back and that we were pleased with how the day went! This is a wonderful venue with an even more fantastic staff. -

The staff was all super kind, helpful, and thorough, making sure that absolutely everything was taken care of so we could truly enjoy our day! Not to mention how gorgeous the property is, everyone loved it! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a rustic and elegant feel for their wedding, or any event really!! -

I had the pleasure of hosting my wedding at Melhorn Manor in May of 2024, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect.
Leading up to the wedding, Jessica was incredibly supportive, anticipating needs and providing guidance on everything from layout options to rain plans. She truly understood our vision and made sure nothing was overlooked.
On the wedding day, the venue was beautifully prepared and created an elegant, welcoming atmosphere. The staff was attentive and handled any issues seamlessly, allowing us to enjoy the day without worry. The venue also offers plenty of stunning photo opportunities, both indoors and out, and is a perfect backup for indoor ceremonies in case of bad weather. When rain hit unexpectedly, the staff quickly adjusted the layout, ensuring everything went smoothly.
Our guests were equally impressed with the service and attention they received. Overall, choosing Melhorn Manor and working with Jessica and Allory was one of the best decisions we made. Their professionalism and care made our day unforgettable, and I highly recommend Melhorn Manor for anyone looking for a memorable wedding experience. -

Talk about detailed! The team over at Melhorn Manor was tremendous in helping us to consider every detail that mattered on our special day. They were thoughtful, meticulous and so, so encouraging. Chip and I felt so taken care of, and so secure with our choice as the months continued on throughout our engagement. As is typical in Pennsylvania, we thought it might rain - luckily Melhorn Manor had a wonderful backup location that was just as beautiful as the outdoor courtyard we had originally wanted to leverage. Luckily, with breaks in the day we got some AMAZING shots outside - especially with Melhorn’s newest Water Feature! Absolutely Gorgeous! Everything about this venue is exactly what you’d want in Central PA - easy to locate, gorgeous indoor romantic feel, amazing outdoor greenery; floral; and water features. And plenty of parking! We even got in our Sparkler send off! The guests loved this location and took advantage of all that the surrounding area has to offer, and the bridal party also took advantage of the local (like 400 feet away) Air BnB’s the Roost on the Run and Nest on the Run for their guest welcome reception and general bridal party shenanigans (highly recommend!) We can’t recommend Melhorn more highly to any and all couples looking for the best Wedding Venue in Central PA!

Best Wedding Venue Ever!!!!!
My husband and I got married at Melhorn Manor on January 7th, 2023. We had our ceremony and reception at their location. Not only were Jess and Allory the most organized, nice, and welcoming people, but they know exactly how to run a wedding venue. They have great communication. They make sure that your day runs smoothy. They help repurpose decorations from the ceremony to the reception. They are AMAZING. I would hightly recommend having your wedding or event at Melhorn Manor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

The Melhorn's do not disappoint. Starting from the time we met Allory and Jessica to the end of our wedding night we could not have asked for kinder people. They are both incredibly patient, nice, and smart. They have been in this role for many years now and it is a wonderful feeling to know you can trust them with one of the most important days ever. I would book with Jessica and Allory 1,000 times over if possible. You will not regret it one bit.
The venue itself is beautiful. So many wonderful areas for portraits, cocktail hour, ceremony, etc. No matter what weather happens on your day you will not be upset.
The worst part of booking with such wonderful people and venue is realizing that after the wedding day has come to end end, so has your planning. I have had the pleasure of chatting here and there with Jess post wedding, but no one tells you about the void you feel after spending a year or more with your vendors. I hope to be back with my husband to say "Hi" when it's near our anniversary.

Absolutely beautiful
Ryan and I are so incredibly happy we picked this venue. This was only our second venue that we looked at and we both looked at each other and knew that this is where we wanted to spend such an important day in our lives. Jess and Allory were so amazing and made everything go so flawlessly! It made our day just that more special. I can not recommend this venue more, not just because of how beautiful it is, but because Jess & Allory make you feel like family and really take care of you. Thank you guys so much for the most beautiful day that I will never ever forget! -

My husband and I are incredibly grateful for the Melhorn Family hosting such a perfect wedding venue where we were able to have the large wedding we wanted, including all of our most precious family and friends, for reasonable cost. While we did plan for a few decorations and some flowers, we were free from stress of how we would make the space look nice on the wedding day, because every space, indoor and outdoor, is authentically gorgeous just as it is. Our guests still mention the "Wow" as they walked through the door to the reception. The entire venue feels authentic. It does not feel like trappings pulled together that largely look out of place as many venues these days do, but rather thoughtful historic preservation with just the right amount of modern amenities. It must not go without mentioning that Jess and Allory were the most gracious, kind hosts who were wonderful to work with from beginning to end. They gave my husband and me such a great gift in hosting our wedding at their venue, a gorgeous, stress free day with our loved ones.

We found Melhorn through our wedding planner. It was only the second venue we toured but once we were done, we kne it was the one. Allory met with us during our initial tour and was just the kindest, most patient. He really helped us envision ourself at the venue on our wedding day. Jess had also been very kind, and bring a very refreshing energy to the whole wedding process. I cannot say enough good things about Allory and Jess. The venue itself is beautiful, lots of space, plenty of options. Lends a very great scene for photos and memories that we'll cherish forever. Allory and Jess, and Melhorn Manor is highly recommended by us. -

Melhorn Manor hosted my dream wedding! Jess and Allory were the best to work with. Super detail oriented, responsive, and organized. They made sure that every single detail, down to my husbands OCD of linen choices, was hammered out so that our day could be completely worry free. Jess and Allory were absolutely fantastic from start to finish! We fell in love with the venue from our first visit. Their large property offers so many options for different sizes of weddings, and both the indoor and outdoor portions are beautiful. I spent a lot of time over the phone with Jess as she helped me map out our day. She was always extremely helpful and accommodating no matter how many times I reached with endless questions. Jess even helped us solve our final big wedding stressor- choosing a signature cocktail drink. After failing to pick something while bar-hopping, Jess offered to whip up a few options during our table meeting, and made the perfect drink for us! On the day of our wedding, Jess and Allory were present and available to oversee our event and help us with anything we needed. They helped us transform their gorgeous property into the wedding of our dreams. We often tell people how grateful we are that we booked with Melhorn. Jess and Allory care deeply about their venue and their weddings, and it shows through in their dedication and care. Thank you again! We couldn't be happier! -

My husband and I had our wedding this October at Melhorn Manor and it was everything and more that we dreamed of. We are so happy that we went with Melhorn Manor to host our wedding. The venue has so many special and unique touches from the different chandeliers to the beautiful courtyard. We fell in love with every aspect of Melhorn Manor. Our guests all traveled more than 2 hours and couldn't stop saying how beautiful the venue was. The owners, Jess and Allory, add to the 5 star experience with their attentiveness and support from beginning to end of the wedding planning process. When we had to postpone due to the pandemic, they were understanding and helpful. Any time I had a question, they were quick to respond and help along the way. They made our wedding day stress free and memorable. Our wedding felt just as special as the day we got married thanks to Jess and Allory. I would definitely recommend Melhorn Manor if you want a unique barn venue with caring owners. Melhorn Manor has a true rustic charm that you can't find at any other venue! -

We had our wedding at Melhorn Manor this past September and it was absolutely incredible! Jessica and Allory were so kind and amazing to work with throughout the whole process. I was nervous about not hiring a planner/coordinator, but Jessica was so helpful during our meetings prior to the wedding she answered all of my questions and acted as our coordinator day of. I loved that they had a whole list of rental items that they provided for free (easel for welcome sign, table number holders, etc.) it really helped us with last minute wedding decor. The venue itself is so gorgeous and had everything that we wanted in a venue. I could not recommend Melhorn Manor more! -

Jess and Allory were SO helpful in the planning process as well as making sure events ran smoothly the day of our wedding! The historical Tobacco Barn was the perfect setting for our ceremony and felt so quaint and homey! The Stables were so gorgeous we didn't have to do too much decorating as they were already breathtaking! There was a very personal feel throughout the whole process and it felt like we were part of the family! -

Melhorn Manor is gorgeous, but the real winner here is the owners. Kind, flexible, relaxed, and effective, Allory and Jessica were there for us every step of the way through planning the wedding, and then dealing with COVID. The facility is great - large, plenty of parking, idyllic Lancaster county setting, rustic but with modern amenities, but again, you can probably find all that other places. What you can't always find is owners who work with you as attentively as Melhorn Manor's owners. Thanks Jessica and Allory! -

Beautiful Venue and smooth planning process!
We absolutely loved having our wedding at Melhorn Manor! The venue is so beautiful so that we only brought minimal decorations of our own. The venue also had plenty of space for our approximately 130 guests. We loved that there were various spaces were people could socialize, including the lower barn, lawn, and pavement where we could play yard games. The Melhorns were incredibly helpful and kind in the planning and preparing process. They were very prompt in replying to my questions, and could anticipate possible needs or issues. They were very professional and knowledgeable, and the virutal system they use for the seating arrangment made it very easy for me to plan where people would sit. We would highly recommend having your event at Melhorn Manor :) -

A real life dream

Melhorn Manor made our daughters wedding day perfect in every way. Jess and Allory were helpful and available the bridal suite was so nice to have since my daughter her bridesmaids and myself spent hours before the wedding doing hair and makeup together. The chapel on the premises was so convenient since we were from New Jersey and our guests didn’t have to drive to two locations. Melhorn offered for free many added touches such as decorative box for cards, wooden rustic table markers, reserved markers for aisles in church and more. I would recommend Melhorn Manor to anyone. I would consider having my other daughters wedding at Melhorn one day. -

As a Wedding DJ, working with venues is an every day task. With the pandemic still upon us we have worked VERY hard to return to the celebration ASAP in a safe but exciting way, and Melhorn Manor is doing it.
Along with a 5star crew or vendors, we held a socially distant and informative Wedding Show this past Sunday. Limited attendance, every safety precaution, and multiple waves of guests allowed us to showcase our services without putting anyone at risk.
Consider Melhorn Manor for your wedding for their atmosphere, their professionalism, their respect for your event and your needs, and for the fact that they WANT YOUR EVENT TO HAPPEN!! -

The best wedding venue- 100%
Jess and Allory are an amazing vendor to work with!!!! You need to book your wedding at Melhorn Manor- I promise you that you wont be disappointed! In the beginning of our wedding venue search- we went to about six different venues and the day we set foot and had our one on one tour, we had a gut feeling that this was where we were supposed to get married. They took so much time explaining everything to us and giving us an amazing tour! They are a business, but you can tell this means more to them! They put their heart and soul into this business and they have an amazing way of really make you feel like you are their family and they would do anything for us to make our day perfect, and boy they did for sure! And then the pandemic happened which threw a wrench into our planning, but having Jess and Allory to lean on literally saved us! They were literally a text or phone call away- any time of the day- they were there for us answering our questions and helping us navigate our wedding day and helping coordinate with all the vendors as well! They sent out so many updates to all the couples keeping them updated on guidelines and new rules that needed to be followed and what the next steps were- they were so thorough. And then five days before our wedding, we didn’t hear from our bartending service and other weddings/couples were having issues with this company. Jess and Allory heard about the situation and already made calls and had their own staff lined up to work our wedding, and did all of this on their own so we didn’t have to stress about it! No other venue would do that for you!!! They got all the supplies and mixers, they literally SAVED the day! Jess was actually bartending 9 months pregnant helping out- I’m telling you this couple is AMAZING and will do whatever it takes to make our wedding day run smoothly and the best for us and our guests! EVERYONE at our wedding said they had such an amazing time! Greg and I owe a lot of that to Jess and Allory! We are so thankful for all of your help, support and guidance planning our best day ever! And we are so lucky to have gained a new friendship! -

The people at Melhorn Manor were very personable, professional, and helpful as we prepared for and enjoyed our wedding. They were always available to call, text, or email. They made planning easy and helped with our other vendors too. We loved having them around on our wedding day/night. They made sure we were well taken care of and that it was the wedding we had hoped for. Not only was the staff great, but so was the venue itself. We had access to the entire property all day. Every section of it is breathtaking. -

#1 Wedding Venue in PA!!
Melhorn Manor is simply the BEST!! My husband and I got married there on September 25th, 2020 and it was absolutely perfect! Not only are the owners, Jessica & Allory, the nicest people you will ever meet but they will go above and beyond for you on your wedding day. We will never be able to thank them enough for everything they did to make our day so special. Jess became not only my wedding coordinator but also my personal de-stressor and a true friend. She was there for me to talk to whenever I needed. She answered any & all questions we had, and I could vent to her about wedding planning (any bride knows this is HUGE). Getting married brings on a lot of challenges and none less than those of 2020, but Allory & Jess made sure to be there for their couples with constant COVID updates so that you didn't feel alone with the unknowns. Other than my husband and I choosing to marry each other, choosing Melhorn as our venue was the best decision we made. I miss them so much already!! So if you are on here looking for a venue in the Lancaster, PA area LOOK NO FURTHER!! Melhorn Manor IS IT. It will truly be the most amazing day of your life!! -

If you are looking for a venue who cares about you - book melhorn. The Melhorn’s are so caring to their couples. We had our date set 2 years ago and when we were getting ready to get married COVID happened. They guided us on what to do. They were thoughtful, caring, compassionate and encouraged us to do what WE wanted. We were lucky to use their space for our elopement and then again for our big wedding. I am so happy to have them in the wedding business and they deserve more than a round of applause. The venue has so many options for brides and grooms to really customize their day. Any style works there. We had a very boho relaxed wedding and it shined through in the venue. -

Outstanding!!!!!
Melhorn Manor is by far the best venue and people I have ever had the opportunity to work with! My wife and I just got married there and they went above and beyond to make it the most special day for us. I have never met more positive and caring owners of such a wonderful business. They made us feel like the most important couple on earth! The venue itself is stunning and I couldn’t have found a more perfect place to say I do. I would rate them a million stars but unfortunately it only lets me rate them 5 out of 5. I highly recommend this venue! -

We could not have been happier with our experience at Melhorn Manor! This was the second wedding venue we toured, and we instantly fell in love. In addition to the amazing venue itself, Allory and Jess were fantastic to work with! From simple texts, calls, and emails, they were quick to get back to us with answers to any questions we may have had...and we certainly had a lot of them! They were so patient in working with us to make sure our day was exactly what we had imagined! We were consistently welcomed back to take another tour or show family members our future reception location, whenever we asked! Although Melhorn Manor is absolutely BEAUTIFUL on its own, the experience of working with Allory and Jess was one that we couldn't find anywhere else. We felt like our needs and wants were truly listened to. They made our reception run seamlessly, and we could not have been happier with how everything turned out! They made our vision of a Christmas wedding absolutely perfect. From the beautiful Christmas decorations, to the many lights both in- and outside the venue, it was exactly what we were looking for. We even lucked out with a 60-degree day, and they quickly got the yard games out for us, as I had requested. Our guests loved spending some time outside during Cocktail Hour, while playing some Cornhole and other games. No matter what season your wedding is, you are bound to have an amazing experience and beautiful scenery at Melhorn Manor. The bridal suite and man cave are sure to please as well! The boys loved having two TVs and plenty of games to occupy their time downstairs. The girls loved the rustic vibe of the bridal suite, and it was the perfect space for getting ready for my special day! Overall, our experience at Melhorn Manor is one that we will continue to tell people about for the rest of our lives. If you are looking for a rustic, classy, and lovely wedding venue, this is the place. We could not have better things to say about it! -

The fact that Allory and Jess were married in the venue is invaluable. They understand what it's like to be married there and have thought of every detail to make the day as seamless as possible. Oh my word, we loved getting married at Melhorn Manor. It was a dream. So beautiful that we barely decorated—just added some flowers to the tables!! Seriously, get married here. You get so much for the price you pay (access to the whole grounds, multiple ceremony locations, tables and chairs, arbor, decorative pieces) and Allory & Jess are insanely incredible & helpful. They think of everything & ensure your day runs so smoothly and according to plan. They are so thorough, accessible, & kind. We love Melhorn Manor & you should definitely get married there!!! :) -

I cannot put into words how incredible our wedding was because of Melhorn Manor. From the very first tour to the end of the wedding night Jess and Allory were there to answer questions, offer support, guidance, and suggestions and were just overall more than we could have ever asked for. The only thing I'm upset about is that we don't get to work with them or discuss our big day anymore - but I will be sure to suggest this venue to anyone I possibly can. There's no better wedding or event venue in PA. Thank you, Jess and Allory, for making my wedding more magical than I ever could have imagined. I can't recommend this venue enough. -

I cannot imagine working with a better wedding venue. Melhorn provided everything we could think of, from the back drop for our ceremony to lawn games to a fire pit to access to multiple barns. They were absolutely responsive, kind, and felt like friends through the whole wedding planning process. We asked for a few things (like to bring in a dessert truck) and they were really flexible. We cannot more highly recommend them to any couples getting married in the Lancaster area! -

We selected the Melhorn Manor for our September 2018 wedding at the beginning of the year and never once did we second guess our decision. Up until our wedding day they were supportive, calm, helpful and had an answer to every little thing that popped up! I would host another event at Melhorn in a heart beat!

They truly seemed just as invested as we were in making our wedding day memorable. They were very flexible with allowing us, our wedding coordinator and our family to tour the venue frequently while planning, and gave us great ideas on how to best utilize the space for our specific event. We had absolutely no worries on the "big day" as both Jessica & Allory were on site working directly, and efficiently with our wedding coordinator and vendors. The venue itself is simply beautiful and minimal decor was needed to make it look stunning. You can see the love and care that has gone into updating and maintaining such a beautiful estate. We would get married here again in a heartbeat!!!

Joshia Sent on 05/13/2018I am the maid of honor at a wedding that will be taking place there in June, and we also decided to have a surprise bridal shower there, at their corn barn. she was so helpful and flexible with everything she also made her self completely available to help us trick the bride into coming into the venue for her surprise bridal shower! She’s positive enthusiastic and she makes you feel like your event is her event. I 100% recommend this establishment.

They will do anything to make sure your day is perfect. This venue has the perfect barn/rustic vibe we were looking for, and at such a reasonable price too! You definitely want to go see this venue because everything about it is to die for! You WILL be blown away - I promise! -

Not only is there enough room on the inside to seat all your guest while also having enough room for a dance floor, but the venue also provides heating and air conditioning so your guest will be comfortable no matter what the weather is! The price is very reasonable and hard to beat with everything they offer. In addition to having the venue all day, it also includes all the table & chairs, having a bridal suite and a grooms room, and having the ability to have an indoor cocktail hour without having to rent a tent which is amazing! Not to mention, Allory and Jessica Melhorn are both very kind and wonderful people who are so easy to talk to. My fiance and I have no doubts that they will make sure everything is perfect for our wedding in 2018 :) -

We were really hoping to find a barn venue but everything we found was incredibly cost prohibitive. When we found venues that were within our budget, they had a list of caterers from which we had to choose; many lists started at $100 a plate. Then we found Melhorn. The facilities were beautiful, the price was reasonable. Surely, we thought, the caterer list would start at expensive and go to unobtainable. But no! The caterers were also reasonably priced. We kept expecting a catch but never found one. Allory and Jessica were a delight to work with and the caterer made delicious, quality food. If you are getting married in the greater Lancaster/York area, we would highly recommend Melhorn Manor!
