Amazing team

Working with MAB was so fun and they really did take their time to make sure me and all the ladies were well taken care of! Their team was so efficient & highly talented I would recommend them to EVERYONE getting married in Maui. I truly felt like the most beautiful princess and still looked like myself in all my wedding portraits. My hair was put in a high bun and as humid & windy as it was, my hair stayed in tact until the moment I took it out. My makeup was so beautifully done especially around my lash extensions. I will recommend them over and over again to any Maui bride!

MeiLi Autumn Beauty was absolutely fabulous! From start to finish, they were so professional, punctual, and an absolute joy to work with. Every single one of my bridesmaids looked stunning. Their team is incredibly talented and made everyone feel so beautiful and confident. I’ve had my makeup done professionally many times before, but this was the first time I was truly obsessed with how it turned out. Bridal and grew hair and makeup

Meili and her team were nothing short of extraordinary. They handled both our wedding party’s welcome event and the big day itself, providing hair and makeup services for 14 bridesmaids and the mother of the bride. From start to finish, their work was flawless.

I’ve had my makeup done many times before, as has my daughter—but never have we looked and felt as stunning as we did with Meili’s team. Every single woman was thrilled with her look. They truly brought out the natural beauty in each face, and every hairstyle was more breathtaking than the last.

Stunning hair and makeup!!

The MAB team were fabulous to work with! I had my bridal hair and makeup trial with Mariane and Amanda a few days before the wedding. They were both so sweet, professional and efficient.
On the wedding day, Amanda had a family emergency, but the MAB team quickly found Gena to step in at the last minute to do hair. Mariane and Gena were fantastic - they were both kind, friendly, calming, and amazing at what they do. When I looked in the mirror for the first time, I felt so beautiful. They happily incorporated the minor changes that I wanted made after my trial.
My bridesmaids and mum also got their hair and makeup done, and they looked stunning (and I could tell they all felt so beautiful too). They also did hair and light makeup for our flower girl, who was so happy.
Our hair and makeup stayed so well the entire day and evening - we were all so impressed. Highly recommend!!

MeiLi is an amazing artist!

MeiLi is a true artist. She is extremely talented and amazing. I eloped in Hawaii and picked MeiLi since she had done makeup on deeper skin tones. Not only was my makeup flawless, my hair was beautiful. I am a Black bride with deep skin and neutral undertones. It can be hard to find a makeup artist who has the correct shades for my skin. MeiLi went above and beyond!

Meili is a gift

Meili. Where do I begin? I met Meili just after I got engaged in Maui, and I was somehow able to get a last-minute trial with her. From then on, I developed a soul connection with this incredible woman who gave me the honor of doing my makeup for my Indian and Western weddings a year later. Meili is an incredibly gifted artist, healer, and nature goddess, and the way she has chosen to express her talent is through doing makeup for brides. I am a plastic surgeon, and I was awed by her flawless, almost surgical precision and control over her craft. She created two very different but equally stunning looks for me for my different events and somehow captured the essence of me for both—I felt completely like myself, just the most beautiful version of myself. I have always had makeup artists “cake” makeup on me, but her makeup feels like second skin but somehow manages to look pristine through tears, sweat, and dancing late into the night. She specializes in making women with diverse skin tones feel beautiful, and I have never felt more beautiful than when Meili has done my makeup. She created my mother’s makeup looks too, and I felt so much joy that my mother—the woman who has sacrificed so much for me, and always puts everyone else’s needs before hers—realized how incredibly gorgeous she really is, even now. Meili’s calming spiritual presence soothes any stress or nerves you have on wedding day, and I really think I would have had a different wedding experience if it hadn’t been for Meili. Thank you, sister, for sharing your gift with me on my most important day.

I loved working with MeiLi Autumn Beauty for my dream wedding at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua. Mei and her team were so wonderful, lovely, and incredibly talented. I was lucky enough to have MeiLi do my makeup for my wedding day, and she made my vision for my makeup come to life exactly how I wanted it. She was also so positive, sweet, and cheerful.

I also loved working with Gena for my hairstyle, and she was able to create the same romantic and dreamy hair from the Pinterest pictures that I showed her.

Best Hair & Makeup on Maui - especially for Asian brides!!

Meili was a total godsend for my wedding day! After a bad experience with another vendor, she agreed to take me on last-minute and made me feel like a queen, delivering exactly the vision I had and made it even better than I could've imagined! My airbrush makeup and hair lasted through many tears and wind, heat, and sweat at my ocean-side wedding and everyone commented how amazing it was throughout the day! It was a challenge to find an artist who was comfortable working with Asian hair and features, and who knew how to enhance them instead of making them look different. Meili specializes in this area and has a passion for making Asian women feel beautiful on their wedding day. She is a complete professional and has such a beautiful soul -- if you're a bride looking to feel your very best on your big day, look no further!! You won't regret it.

Wonderful Experience

LOVED working with this vendor. I used MAB for my bridal party and my own hair & makeup for my wedding on 1.12.20. They were extremely professional, helpful, & responsive throughout the whole process. They also gave me an excellent recommendation for somewhere close to my accomodations for a mani/pedi and an on site spray tan a couple days prior to the event. It rained a little on my day and everyone's hair and makeup held up beautifully. Due to this being a destination wedding, I was not able to do a trial run for my day of look and they were able to deliver perfectly on my vision. I would 1000% hire them again in a heartbeat.

Made me and my bridesmaids look stunning!

If you are in need of a hair/makeup artist for a special occasion, Meili Autumn Beauty is your go-to ! Meili and her team are super nice to work with, and are the greatest!

I got married in Maui on Dec 2019, and they made me and my bridesmaids look gorgeous! I only had time to do my trial the day of my rehearsal dinner, which was a day before my wedding.

I was a little worried the hairstyle I wanted wouldn't suit me, but I showed Krystal some pictures of what I was interested in, and she picked the one she thought would look best with the style of my dress. With makeup, I had Randall, who knew exactly what I wanted. Both ladies were amazing to work with, and so sweet! They made me feel very comfortable, and listened to what I liked and disliked.

On the day of my wedding, both ladies showed up on time to my hotel to get me and my bridesmaids ready. Everyone got airbrushed, and got lashes put on. Everyone was so happy with their makeup, and looked flawless. My airbrushed makeup stayed on all night, even though it got pretty warm during the ceremony. My hair style also stayed in place when it got really windy at Olowalu.

Thank you Randall and Krystal so incredibly much for making me and my bridesmaids look stunning! I would highly recommend Meili Autumn's services to anyone!

Happy Bride

I have never felt more beautiful in my life. I was blown away when I saw myself in the mirror, they did an amazing job. I felt like royalty and I looked like royalty. :) Communicating with them via email was so easy and their responses were quick. I was also so happy they arrived on time since there had been a fire on the Island that day. The team was so nice and sweet, I am just over the moon happy with how my hair and makeup turned out. I would give them a 10/10 if there were more stars. My hair and makeup still looked flawless by the end of the night, I didn't need to do a single touch up which was amazing! I have received so many compliments on my hair and makeup from friends and family.

Mab wow!

When my husband and I decided that we will be having a destination wedding in Maui, I started researching for bridal MUA right away. I discovered MeiLi Autumn Beauty thru Instagram, followed them and watched their IG stories everyday! I might have booked them before we even picked a wedding venue. Never felt or looked more beautiful!

Once I booked our wedding at the Four Seasons Maui (4/11/19), I started looking into professional hair & makeup services. I came across MAB almost immediately and was sold! Their website and instagram were professionally done and showcased exactly how I wanted to look on wedding day. Picking them was a no-brainer! I selected the "Complete Bridal Experience", my mom, mother-in-law, and aunt-in-law selected the "Essential Bridal Party Makeup/Hair Combo", and my flower girl selected the "Flower Girl" hair & age-appropriate makeup.

Booking was extremely easy and filling out the questionnaire online & uploading pictures of looks I liked was very helpful. They returned emails very quickly and were kind & friendly. About a week before the wedding, I need to change my timeline a bit and move up when hair & make-up. MAB was extremely accommodating and this took so much stress off my plate.

I didn't do a trial, but I didn't feel I needed to do one anyway. I kept up with MAB on instagram and they were constantly killing it. I 100% trusted them and they did not disappoint.

On the day of, my bridal party got ready in the Ilima Suite at Four Seasons. MAB showed up early and set-up quickly. Mariane did our makeup and Amanda did our hair. These ladies are INCREDIBLY TALENTED and we all looked gorgeous, if I do say myself. I have never looked or felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day, and it's all thanks to Mariane and Amanda. They nailed *exactly* how I wanted to look and did an even better than I could have imagined. They were also very open and asked for feedback if any of us wanted any changes so we felt 100% satisfied with our hair & makeup.

I received a touch-up kit with some powder and lip gloss, but I honestly didn't need it. Even with the humidity (I live in Arizona so I was definitely feeling it), my hair and makeup stayed put all night. It looked just as good at the end of the night as it did during the day. I got so many compliments!

When the night was over, I was honestly sad to take my hair out and remove the makeup. I'm sure I could've worn it another day without it falling off.

Mariane and Amanda (and I'm sure the entire MAB team of stylists!) are absolutely best in class. They were friendly, professional, easy to work with, and most importantly, made me look & feel like a bride. I could not be more happy with MAB and my wedding look. Thank you, thank you, thank you MAB!!!

Best Bridal Hair and Makeup EVER

I cannot say enough amazing things about Meili Autumn Beauty. Firstly, they were SO professional from the start. Responded to emails and booking questions so fast. They sent someone to do a spray tan 2 days before the wedding and it was the BEST spray tan I've ever had. On the day of, Mariane and Kaylin were on top to do hair and makeup. Mariane was AMAZING with my makeup. She made me feel like myself, my makeup stayed ALL day (even through a photoshoot on the beach), and she listened to EXACTLY what I wanted. There was not one thing I would change about my makeup. She was also soooooo sweet and made me feel so at ease. Kaylin was also incredible. She too, listened to exactly what I wanted my hair to look like. My hair stayed perfectly!! The wedding was outside, and my hair stayed perfectly and looked amazing!! Kaylin and Mariane both worked together at the same time, which also made the process go much faster. They made sure I was happy with how everything looked, which I love. I cannot wait to return to Maui and have Mariane and Kaylin do my hair and makeup again! So happy that the experience was so incredible!!

Magic workers

Truly masters of their craft!

The MAB team was highly, highly recommended by our wedding planner (Tropical Maui Weddings).
After checking out their reviews and instagram, I was sold!

Planning the wedding from San Diego, I didn't get the chance to do a trial which I will admit definitely made me nervous but these girls did not disappoint!

There were 6 girls in my party that they did both hair and make up for. We had Randall for make up and Gio for hair -- they were both AMAZING!!! They both have truly mastered their craft! I let each girl choose how they wanted their hair and make up and they perfected each look (even for my mom who never wears make up)! Not to mention, the make up lasted all night and the hair outlasted the island humidity! Also, I can't forget the lashes...those lasted at least 3 days (don't worry I washed my face)! My husband was very adamant that I don't "look like a clown" for our first look because of brides he's seen in the past with make up caked on. Randall nailed it - just enough so it looked stunning in pictures but not too much that my husband couldn't recognize me.

Thank you for making me feel so beautiful on such an important day of celebration! I wish you could do my make up and hair everyday!

I love MAB!

MeiLi Autumn Beauty is by far the most incredible makeup team I have ever had the privilege of being a client of. From setting up the trial run throughout the entire wedding day they were not only punctual & professional, they were also kind and extremely caring. They pay incredible attention to detail and they made me look better than I could have ever imagined. My hair, which does not typically hold a curl, stayed volumized and in place all night. They worked with my sensitive eyes to give me beautiful full fake lashes. My makeup stayed throughout several episodes of crying during the wedding and looked flawless in all photos. Excellent & I cannot rave enough about this team! I highly recommend them to everyone.

I was extremely nervous about choosing the right hair and makeup team for my wedding as I’ve had nightmare experiences in the past. I came across MAB and after some great correspondence, I decided to go with them and I am BEYOND happy that I did! My biggest request was that I look like an enhanced version of myself and they more than delivered! As soon as I met the team I was immediately at ease. They were such a friendly and fun group of girls and immediately understood my vision. Randall did my makeup and she is the best!! I looked like myself with naturally added drama. She used an airbrush foundation which was totally new to me. I have never seen my skin look more fresh and flawless and it lasted the entire day without any touch ups! Amanda did my hair. It was mab-ulous!

I found MAB online through all the raving reviews — they're obviously the best H&M artists on the island ;) I had the pleasure of chatting with Randall for a good year throughout my planning process and was even able to chat with MeiLi herself a few times when I had questions. Everything worked out smoothly even when I had to switch planners.

Through my research and following her on IG, I was really impressed by MeiLi and her team's work. I opted to not do a trial because knew I would be in good hands with anyone on the team but decided to pay the owners fee to secure MeiLi for my big day. I'm so glad I did! I was able to meet her and her team in person the morning of my wedding. MeiLi, Geo & @cloud_ten were so pleasant to work with. I had 3 bridesmaids + myself and we were done getting ready from 11:30am to 2:30pm for a 3pm first look & 4pm ceremony.

I have monolids and wanted a natural modern Asian look. MeiLi knew exactly what I was going for and had no problem glamming me up! The make up and hair products they used was high quality — it lasted all day through the humidity and crazy dancing :) I recommended MAB to my friend who just got married at Maui and she looked GORGEOUS!

I planned my wedding from afar, and choosing Meili's team for my Hair & Makeup was meant to be. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out, the experience, and the photos. Seriously amazing. Everyone was complimenting me on it for days after, and now with the photos.
Meili & Giovanna showed up exactly on time at our rental, with everything ready to go, and got right to it. They started with my mother-in-laws and stepmom first, so I had some time to relax and see the process. The most amazing moment was when Meili started talking to my Stepmom in Chinese, who doesn't speak English - we weren't expecting it and it really made her day to be able to explain what she wanted done and her preferences.
When it came to me... I hadn't done a trial run, and I don't wear much makeup myself, so I was definitely nervous. Meili talked me through every step, and was so patient and understanding with my comfort level and easing me into the right amount for photos. She gave me time to get used to my makeup and offered changes, and the best tip - she took some photos of me to show how it would appear on camera. She was right - what she had done was perfect, not too much, not too little. I felt like a dream.
For my hair... oh my god. I had been growing my hair out all year, and somehow Gio made it look twice as long and full, it looked like I had extensions added and was perfect. I wish she could do my hair every day. It turned out better than I imagined and better than any of the photos I shared, even hours later.
I cannot recommend MAB enough. Absolutely perfect.

Amazing Experience

MAB brought my vision for my wedding day to life! As a female, hair and makeup is always a very important detail of your big day. MAB comes to you, removes the stress, and delivers exactly what you want! We traveled from Ohio, so most of our communication was actually through email, and it was very seamless. They were quick, efficient, and kind. The day of my wedding was the day “hurricane” Olivia hit the island. I briefly contemplated moving my wedding date and they were as accommodating and flexible as possible to help take the stress away. (We decided to stick with our original date and so glad we did - it turned out perfect!)

The MAB team helped create my dream look for our wedding! Randall was my makeup artists and Kaylin was my hairstylist. They are extremely talented and super sweet and calm. They created the exact look I wanted, and my hair and makeup lasted all night long for our outdoor summer wedding on Maui. I am so happy I chose MeiLi Autumn Beauty to do the hair and makeup for my wedding! Randall was my makeup artist and Kaylin was my hairstylist. These two ladies were so sweet and professional and such a pleasure to work with! I did a trial run with them two days before my wedding. I explained the look I wanted, showed them a few pictures and they nailed it on the first try! They also did the hair and makeup for my 4 bridesmaids and were able to give them the looks they wanted. We were all impressed with how quickly yet precisely they worked; it only took about 3 hours for all 5 of us! The great thing was that all our looks lasted during the outdoor ceremony, after being exposed to the wind and sun, and all throughout the night during the reception. The ladies from MeiLi were wonderful! And it was awesome to have MeiLi herself do my makeup for my wedding day. They arrived early and set-up their stations to get us started. They did my bridal hair and makeup just like I had pictured in my head. I kept doing double takes in the mirror, because I just loved the way they made me glow. And my hair stayed on point all day! I have long, thick hair, and I was unsure if it would hold a curl in the humidity and the wind that day. But it stayed and looked great all through the evening. They also did a great job on my mother and mother-in-law's makeup and hair as well. Very glad to have chosen them for my wedding hair and makeup.

With planning a wedding from afar I needed to make sure we were working with the best vendors. I knew I was not going to be able to do a hair and makeup trial which some people warned me about. Choosing to work with MeiLi and her team was a truly a dream come true.

We picked MeiLi Autumn Beauty based on her work posted on her website and social media. I am of mixed ethnicity with very textured hair. My background is not as common in Hawaii and I was scared the combination of oily skin, unruly hair, humidity, and strong winds were a recipe for disaster. All my fears were put at ease as soon as I looked in the mirror. MeiLi and her team are professional artists with a sense of tranquility that is needed on your wedding day.

MeiLi personally did my make-up and it was flawless and lasted all night. Finding the right shade and colors was done with absolute ease. Giovanna effortlessly tamed my crazy hair while allowing movement and texture that could hold up to wind and humidity.

Our entire group was thrilled and loved their results. If you are looking for the best in the industry… MeiLi Autumn Beauty is it.

I had Kaylin do my hair and Taylor do my makeup, and these ladies knocked it out of the park. They were very professional, made me completely at easy, and with little direction they flawlessly executed the look I wanted. I was so impressed because my makeup stayed fully in place on a hot Maui day in June, and my hair stayed perfect the whole night! No loose strands, nothing. It was actually hard taking my hair down because it was so secure, and my makeup was still mostly there end of the night. Didn’t even have to reapply lipstick. Highly highly recommend these ladies, they know what they’re doing!

I was referred to MeiLi Autumn Beauty by my wedding planner. They were a phenomenal team and everyone who received their services for hair and makeup was very pleased with their work! I would not hesitate to recommend them. I was very nervous to get my hair and makeup done without having done a trial, however they made me feel very at ease, did not pressure me into anything or do anything I didn't want, and everything turned out better than I could have imagined! I was also very happy that they were able to do airbrush makeup on me without covering my freckles which was a big concern of mine when choosing a makeup artist. I've also been told MeiLi is one of the most sought-out makeup artists in Maui. I would definitely recommend checking out their Instagram profile to get a feel for their style. Randall and kaylin did my makeup and hair for my wedding, as well as for my two sisters and mom. I was nervous because I was having a destination wedding and was unable to do any sort of trial until a couple days before the wedding day. I spoke to Randall a few times before the wedding and she answered all of my questions and made me feel very confident with using them. They were both so friendly and professional. Meili is an incredible artist who can truly give you make you feel beautiful inside and out.

I was most nervous about booking a make-up artist because I've only had terrible experiences in the past (as bridesmaids or make-up for parties). I booked Meili because my wedding planner highly recommended her and told her that I needed to book immediately because she is very busy. I also put a $100 deposit to make sure Meili herself will do my make-up. Let me tell you now, I've never felt so beautiful and not just because I'm marrying the love of my life, but also because Meili and Kaylin was able to capture how I was feeling that day perfectly. She is truly worth every penny.

Fitting all races/looks: My bridal party is made up of many different races from east asian, white, black, pakistani. Meili and her team successfully made everyone happy (and these girls are almost never all satisfied at the same time, especially not with make-up!).

Personality: Meili was so calm yet easy-going. She makes you feel good and ready before your big day. Remember that you have to spend about 3-5 hours with her before the big day.

My own make-up: I normally wear minimal make-up and don't really have a 'vision' for my make-up. Meili and Kaylin were able to understand what I want to achieve and yet still give me suggestions on what would work best. I really love the final result. I highly recommend doing a trial especially if you're like me and don't really have a vision on how you should look like (I did my trial two days before my wedding). I also recommend air-brushing as my make-up still look flawless at the end of the night.

I am so happy that I decided to use MeiLi Beauty for my bridal hair and makeup! Randall did a beautiful job with my makeup. I have received so many compliments from friends and family about how fresh and pretty my makeup looked! Kaylin did exactly what I asked for with my hair and helped me add flowers as well. Both of these ladies were polite and professional. Whenever I had a question, I would email MeiLi and she would typically get back to me within the day (this is very helpful whend you're only engaged for a couple of months and trying to work out details). Absolutely the best on Maui. MeiLi and her team took such good care of us. My skin is usually really clear, but MeiLi's airbrushing looked awesome. Even those that just saw pictures of our wedding commented on how good my makeup was. After following Meili Autumn Beauty on instagram for the past two years or so I always knew I wanted them to do my wedding day!
When the chance finally came I was so excited to book them!

I don't believe I have ever felt more like a princess. My hair was swept back just perfectly with a touch of flowers, it was so elegant and I really felt like MeiLi was able to create a hairstyle that suited not only me but that really complimented the neckline on my dress.

With all the joyous chaos of family, out of town guests, and last minute wedding planning of course my face broke out the week of my wedding. I was a bit worried but MeiLi was able to make those blemishes disappear with airbrushing so that my skin looked flawless. The eyelashes were probably my favorite part of being done up. I received so many compliments on my eyes that evening and you couldn't even tell that they weren't my own eyelashes!

I wasn't going to have my makeup professionally done at first but am so happy that I did. It truly made a difference, especially in the photographs and video. I would definitely recommend MeiLi Autumn Beauty to anyone that needs that flawless look for any special occasion. The team was so sweet, understanding, and accommodating, they truly are fabulous at what they do!

I am so happy we went with MeiLi and her team for our wedding hair and makeup! We arrived to Maui about 5 days before our wedding and I was able to squeeze in a hair and makeup trial with MeiLi and her team. I am glad I got to do this as it really helped in working with her on what exactly I wanted. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup and didn't really know how to describer to MeiLi what I wanted, but somehow she figured it out! I was very impressed at my trial and was really looking forward to the wedding day itself. And since we had done the trial we figured out the exact look I was going for and so on the day itself it was a fairly easy process. Her team did hair and makeup for myself and my 3 bridesmaids, and hair for my 2 flower girls. Everyone looked beautiful! Our wedding day itself ended up being pretty windy, so I was a bit worried about my hair staying in place. But in the end it all worked out and my hair held up pretty well! One of the most nerve-wrecking vendors for your wedding day can be hair and make up- it can make or break your wedding day experience. Rest easy if you go with MeiLi Autumn Beauty! My 3/6/16 wedding was outdoor in a notoriously windy part of the island (Olowalu Plantation House), and I am very pale with fine hair. None of these factors were an issue (I didn’t get sunburned and I was super sweaty at points during the day due to the heat), and we all looked flawless the ENTIRE day. I laughed along with the girls of the MAB team while getting ready in our off-site condo (the venue didn’t have air conditioning) and all of us who got our hair and make up done were 100% pleased! My wedding was on a Sunday, so I didn’t have MeiLi herself, but her team did a gorgeous job anyway. My sister practically threatened me that I would have a wedding day disaster since I didn’t sign up for a trial run in the few days leading up to my destination wedding, but I had full confidence in the MAB team to deliver- and they did! I never felt more beautiful in my life. My make up was airbrushed and never looked caked on or smudged. I had them put flowers in my updo, and it was perfectly romantic! Even with my difficult pale complexion and fine hair- they pulled off a “natural” look that stayed the whole day! My ladies and I looked flawless in every picture. My mom who is extremely particular about her hair and make up was very satisfied (whew!) I even kept the eyelash extensions and updo going for a few more days… This team of gorgeous ladies is the perfect way to go for being your most beautiful self on your wedding day. The MeiLi team was incredible. MeiLi is one of the most incredible makeup artists I've ever worked with. I am especially particular about my eyebrows and I don't let anyone touch them BUT wow, she pulled it off!! I loved my eyebrows and I loved my makeup. I felt like a million bucks thanks to MeiLi! I wish she lived in LA because I would have her to my makeup for everything. And her team is top notch. Searching for the right makeup artist and hairstylist for your big day can be a challenge for any bride, and I am so glad my wedding coordinator recommended Meili and her team to me! I had already researched a few makeup artists, but upon seeing the work of Meili Autumn Beauty team on their instagram and facebook page, I knew that they were the ones right away. I couldn’t take my eyes off of the natural looking work they do on their lovely brides and bridal party.

Meili was friendly and timely in our communication. Everything we did was pretty much online which is very convenient when planning a destination wedding from a different time zone. As the bride, I filled out a questionnaire indicating the look I wanted to achieve and also included some photos for inspiration. Meili and Bree arrived at our condo resort on time, and set up swiftly to start on the wedding party. They took a look at the color of our bridesmaids dresses and photo inspirations to ensure that they both flowed. Meili and Bree were an awesome team together as they styled a total of 8 women (hair & makeup) in about 4.5 hours without breaking a sweat. Mahalo again to the Meili Autumn Beauty for making us looking fabulous on this special day!

I AM SO GLAD I have found Meili Beauty TEAM!!! It's like God heard my prayer! I wasn't keen on having my hair&makeup done for the wedding as I was never happy with the outcome when I had my hair&makeup done in the past. I believe in "enhance" beauty, NOT transform. I told Meili TEAM about my concerns, how I wanted my makeup (not "cake face") & hair done specifically, and they did exactly what I told them. We communicated via email and they were very prompt to respond and answered any queries I have for them. They're very kind & patient with me. Meili did a spot on job with the makeup from the moment we did the trial. The hair stylist, Bree(?), is very good too! Meili, Bree, Randall & the rest of the team did such a great on a bridal party of 9! Worth every penny I spent! They're so good I wish they have a branch here in Sydney, AUS!!

My family and I were taking photos in Maui and our photographers recommended them. I had the wonderful opportunity of working with Randall for makeup. She arrived promptly to our hotel and right away I felt at ease by her kindness and the flow of conversation. Before she began, I showed her a picture and we discussed what I like and don't like as far as make-up. She made sure to communicate along the way and about an hour later I looked in the mirror and was so happy with her work! I felt so much more beautiful and confident, thanks to Randall. She outdid the photos and what I imagined. It was a great experience and I would recommend her to anyone in Maui for makeup.

I randomly found MeiLi Autum Beauty on Instagram through Anuhea's page and it was probably the best discovery I had during the whole wedding planning process. As soon as I saw how beautiful and simply flawless all the brides looked in the photos, I fell in love and instantly knew that I had to have MeiLi Autumn Beauty for my wedding! From my first initial email, everything was coordinated with such ease. MeiLi was quick to respond to my emails, which is a huge plus for me!

I didn't have a hair/makeup trial so my first time meeting MeiLi and Bree was on the morning of my wedding. I wasn't worried about not having a trial with them because I just knew they would do an awesome job! I sent them photos of my dream wedding look prior to the wedding and they created every detail with perfection. I remember looking in the mirror after they were done and saying, "Omg, is that really me?" It was the first time I'd gotten my hair and makeup done where I was completely in love with everything. I'm still obsessing over my whole bridal look - I felt and looked like a bride that day!!

Both ladies were so fun and super sweet and I will forever be grateful to them for their talent and hard work at making my dream wedding look come true. :)

Randy, Snr Make up Artist - WOW! What a magician! Seriously! She made me completely speechless. I have had my makeup professionally done a dozen times but never have I felt more beautiful in my life.
Bree, Hair Stylist - another huge WOW! I actually wish I took more note of product she used and technique. My hair was unbelievable!!
The girls were so accommodating and fun. I would recommend them a thousand times over.

MeiLi and her team were absolutely AMAZING!!! I truly couldn't have asked for better hair and makeup artists. I was so happy with my look and I got so many compliments from my guests and people that have seen photos from the wedding. My mom who had never had her makeup done felt so special which made me incredibly happy. And the bridesmaids looked stunning. I had something completely different in mind for their hair but had to switch things up last minute because of the wind. Meili is absolutely THE BEST make up artist I have ever worked with. As a professional performing artists that is saying a lot! We talked before hand about the look I wanted for my wedding and I loved how receptive she was to my ideas. When she handed me the mirror to show me the final look, I was astounded. It was EXACTLY what I had described! I also really loved the make up she did for my mother-in-law and my mother too. They looked like the best version of themselves. We all did. My bridesmaids were ecstatic. The make up was not heavy at all, but lasted all night long (through so serious dancing).

I will absolutely be recommending Mei Li to all of my friends! She made the day so much fun and totally stress free! MAHALO!

I have had my makeup done professionally by Meili Coon twice now; once for my own wedding 4 years ago, and once again this August as a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding. Both times her work has been outstanding. At my own wedding, I didn't really know how I wanted my makeup to be done, so I left it to Meili to do whatever she thought would look best. She immediately told me her vision and started working on it without hesitation. She was very professional and knew exactly what to do. I loved the look she came up with for me. Also, at my wedding, it ended up pouring rain the minute I started walking down the aisle. Despite being drenched by the rain, my makeup stayed on the whole day and night and looked flawless.
At my friend's wedding this August, I was the first of six women to get our makeup done. This was at 11am for a 4:30pm wedding. I was worried about my makeup not lasting all day in hot, humid Maui. However, it lasted perfectly all day and looked amazing into the evening. Meili was also very punctual, (a few minutes early in fact) and did all of our makeup beautifully in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Meili Coon to any bride to be.

MeiLi & Randall were absolutely incredible. They transformed my skin into a flawless, glowing perfection that held up to the Maui heat and humidity. I ordered the Halo extensions and they were so worth it. Best purchase ever. The ladies were able to quickly put them on me and they looked exactly like my hair. It was incredible. The extensions added so much volume and polish to my look and my husband was blown away when he saw me walking down the aisle. He even didn't want me to take them out after the wedding. SO I am glad I could take them home with me. These ladies are lovely, professional, easy going, funny, punctual, they use high-end cosmetics and the whole process was seamless and easy. I felt like a Queen and looked perfect for the entire day and evening even with the rain and heat. They drove all the way to my condo which made my wedding day romantic and stress free. I could sip champagne with my sister and BFF and not try to drive around looking for some random busy salon. Hiring them was best decision ever.

MeiLi Autumn and her hair assistant Bree did a wonderful job with my hair and makeup. Before the big day, I sent pictures of hairstyles and makeup I liked, and they both came prepared to replicate those styles on the day. I was impressed because I didn't have to explain anything. They both had a sense of what I wanted to look like and I was able to trust them 100%. My hair style had a nice loose beachy look, but it stayed put even with a bit of wind on the beach. The fresh flowers matched my dress perfectly. And I was blown away by the makeup. I normally don't wear a lot of makeup, but I still felt comfortable and like myself, only better! I never thought my face could look that good! The makeup lasted all night and well into the next morning when I had more photos taken. I was very happy with my wedding look, and how friendly and professional the MeiLi Autumn team are. I would recommend them to anyone getting married on Maui!

I loved working with MeiLi (makeup) and Bree (hair).They came to my hotel the day before my wedding to do a trial run, and they really took the time to perfect every request I had. I'm very particular about my eyebrows, and MeiLi was super patient (thank you!!) and worked hard to get everything just right. On the day of the wedding, she arrived on time even though her car broke down on the way to the hotel! When she arrived, she was cool as a cucumber even though she had to leave her car on the side of the road and get a ride to the hotel! A true professional. Oh, and she's fun to boot ;)

I have to say I was nervous about getting my trial done just one day ahead of the wedding, but MeiLi is really skillful, and she'll make you look the way you want. I think it's really important for a client to feel like she's not offending anyone when she makes requests, says she doesn't like something, or wants to make a change along the way, and that's why I really appreciate MeiLi. She really listens, hears what you want, and just gets it done. I also like that she makes suggestions along the way. Bree is also great! She made my updo exactly how I wanted, and it stayed up all day and night. I'm so glad a friend recommended them to me. If you're getting married in Maui, look no further! This team is solid.

In planning my wedding, choosing my makeup artist was one of my most important decisions. I wanted someone that would find a balance between subtlety and glamour. MeiLi did exactly that.

My wedding was my first professional make-up opportunity and I did not have any idea what would be best. So, I checked reviews, portfolios, and the blogs of many stylists, but when I saw MeiLi's website, I knew that she was the stylist I was looking for.

Before the wedding, MeiLi and I had multiple communications (including phone calls and e-mails) regarding scheduling and ideas. MeiLi always responded to me quickly. This was a super big deal for me, because wedding planning takes a lot of time, and it can make brides really frustrated and anxious. Fortunately, MeiLi’s fast, sincere, and understanding responses put me at ease. She took the time to understand what I wanted—and this was proven by the final product she delivered.

Looking back, one of the most special moments of my wedding day was when I first looked in the mirror when she finished. I was extremely amazed by the face looking back at me. My face and skin were absolutely stunning!!

Bri (the hair stylist) was also awesome too!! I wore a cathedral-length veil for the whole day, but my hair stayed in perfect condition.

My husband LOVED my look on the wedding day, and we're extremely happy to see it in our wedding pictures now.

My family and I operate a successful family business so understand and recognize in detail the quality and effort others put forth...or not. MeiLi was my wedding artist at Maui. She is skillful, reliable and friendly. I am so glad that I had MeiLi to do my bridal makeup and hair.

We were at Maui for a destination wedding and we didn't plan a makeup trail. MeiLi sent me a questionnaire to ask what kind of make-up and hairstyle I liked, and she gave me exactly what I wanted on my wedding day. My family/friends and myself really love my wedding look.

She grew up in Hawaii and she worked as a MUA for several years in China. She can speak Chinese pretty well and she is familiar with Asian makeup. As an asian, I would say you can't go wrong with MeiLi.

I have taken quite a few different photo sessions in different places working with different makeup artist. The first one is the engagement in China, second one is my wedding in New York, and this is my third one with Meili in Hawaii for my honeymoon. As far as my opinion goes, Meili is the best!!!!!

I simply love the look Meili created for me. The look brings the best natural beauty out of me, nothing too dramatic, but very elegant and beautiful. I cannot say enough about how much I love the look Meili created. It is just perfect. And this is not just about the look, it is also about the way she works. She has been always very responsive via email, super flexible with time schedule, even my last minute Lei request. She understands all the Asian brides needs and concern. She listens and provides her professional opinions. These are very important because it is Hawaii!!! We do not get really a chance to do in person meet and talk before the real event. Therefore, the way communication goes, and trust builds are crucial. All of these make her service a no-doubt five out five rating.

MeiLi has made me looked so pretty on my wedding day, and I have never seen myself like this before! Even all my friends said I looked really nice with the make up.

MeiLi has an incredible amount of experience while she was doing make up for me, since she has been to so many different places she understands what would look good on the clients even without saying much.
And she was fun and easy to work with, especially she was such a good listener, for service industry it is very important to be a good listener.

I had very good chemistry with MeiLi because she has been to my country and she totally understands my culture and my background so she gave me so many cool suggestion to my looks and it fitted so well for a West and East Wedding!

In my opinion, 5 stars is not enough for MeiLi. On my wedding day, she did more than just my hair and makeup. She provided me with an experience that made my whole day memorable. I absolutely recommend a trial run before your event. I had never had my makeup professionally done and it was time that MeiLi and I had to talk about my expectations and give her a good idea of where to start. In that time, MeiLi created a look that went with my coloring, personality, gown and flowers. The only way I can describe the refection in the mirror was that was it was the best of me. MeiLi was able to create a beautiful extension of all my features. I could not believe it but my eyes took on a life of their own, my skin looked healthy and glowing, and my hair shined. She then expertly duplicated the look on my wedding day. The amazing part was the makeup felt light and cool as if it was not there (even during the afternoon ceremony under the Maui sun!). I felt confident and beautiful on the day all women are only supposed to feel confident and beautiful. It showed through in all the pictures. Like most brides that plan Maui weddings, we planned it long distance and were not able to meet with our vendors until arriving on Maui. MeiLi made sure she kept in constant contact with me the whole time up until the wedding. It was one less thing I had to worry about knowing the person I trusted to do my hair and makeup was looking out for me. MeiLi did my hair and makeup for my wedding, but I recommend MeiLi for any special event in your life.

MeiLi was AMAZING! I am very particular about how my makeup is done and I could not have found a better vendor. This woman knows what she is doing. My makeup looked flawless, she arrived early, and was professional. I cannot recommend her enough!

MeiLi did my makeup on my wedding day and I LOVED it - and her! I tend towards a natural look, and I was nervous to have my makeup done "professionally." I showed her inspiration pictures for a pretty, dewy look and she was able to recreate it, spot on. She talked me through the process, and recommended with expertise. To this day I use the eyeliner and blush she thought would work for me. Go with MeiLi - you won't regret it!

Meili was an integral part of making my wedding day the most wonderful day of my life. She helped me with choosing a specific hair and makeup style that fit our destination wedding perfectly. I was concerned that planning a wedding from thousands of miles away would be difficult but Meili's responsiveness and supportive nature helped made it easy and fun.

The day of the wedding, Meili arrived to our condo on time and helped me feel at ease. She brought the pictures on her Ipad that I'd sent her and was totally prepared. It felt like meeting up with an old friend. Despite a lot of communication prior to the day, I hadn't chosen an exact makeup 'look'. Meili asked a few questions and went to work. She made me look and feel like a princess! I actually cried when I saw myself made up, as I couldn't believe that the day had come for me to be married. Thankfully her claim of waterproof makeup was true. It even rained a bit during our ceremony and everything looked perfect.

I am forever grateful for Meili's presence as part of my wedding day. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a bit of help in getting ready for a special event. She is very talented at what she does.

I got married on Maui on November 13, 13. Meili did a wonderful job on both my hair and make up. I was really happy with how I looked on the day of my wedding. She was very professional, and had an assortment of very high quality make up. She used individual lashes for my eyes, which I also really liked. She was very punctual on the day of the wedding, and also communicated with me throughout the time that I had connected with her until the wedding day. I highly recommend Meili! You are guaranteed to be stunning and beautiful bride on your special day.

I love love these ladies!! They are quick to respond to any of your questions and very helpful.
They came to my hotel room on the day of my wedding and made me feel and look like a move star!

MeiLi provides great service. I enjoyed working with her on my hair and makeup trial and wedding day. From the moment my wedding coordinator put me in contact with MeiLi, MeiLi got in touch with me right away. She was great at asking me what look I wanted and answered all my follow up emails incredibly quick. I recommend MeiLi to all brides getting married in Maui.

Meili is a sweetheart, and her associate, Bree was nice as well. Although they are experts at what they do, and the quality of work is phenomenal, I regret not having a trial done with them beforehand. Looking back at the day-of/live video, although their makeup was supposed to be "waterproof", I had streaks of gold (shadow?) running down my face from crying at the altar (evident in the close up of the video and my husband trying to wipe my face multiple times throughout the ceremony). Hopefully the final/edited video and pictures fix this problem. My mom did not feel that her hair suited her, and I felt the same way. We should've/would've spoken up to say something, but due to reasons below, we did not.

The rating is for the quality of service I received the day of - they seemed like they didn't really want to be there, and both Meili and Bree were so quick to leave (I had to ask/remind her to pin my veil as she was running out the door). I think if they didn't overbook themselves with so many clients throughout the week and really had the time and energy to give to their clients, they would be excellent.

Should you use their services, make sure to do a trial with them beforehand, and speak up about what you like and don't like. Because time was running out by the time they got to me, I couldn't ask them to change anything. I'm just crossing my fingers that the professional pictures and video surprise me!

Unfortunately I have to give this vendor 2 stars. I got my hair and makeup done by them (along with 4 other people in my bridal party). The make up was nice - it's not for someone that wants a natural look, but for a special occasion I thought what they did was great. The makeup artist was really pleasant as well. The hair, however, was a complete disaster. She had to do my hair 3 times over and by the 4th time I told her to just leave it. It wasn't even a complicated 'do - a side braid and a low bun. Looking back at my photos and video, the hair makes me really sad. It really does look horrible. I did a trial with them and was reasonably pleased but asked for one tweak to it on the big day. For some reason she couldn't re-execute what we discussed. My MOH and MOB also were unhappy with their hair - both looked pretty plain. I definitely would not recommend MAB!!
