Amazing, just amazing!
We had 8 hours of coverage for such a reasonable price, which I would recommend everyone do! We got great photos of every part of our day, which turned out beautifully! -

Love my wedding pictures!
We used Amy for our elopement photos and she absolutely blew us away with our pictures! We could not be happier with them and really felt like she captured our day perfectly, which was very important to us, since it was just the two of us there. She went above and beyond, and I would use her again in a heart beat. -

Stunning photographs, makes you feel at ease
Amy of Meghan Rolfe Photography was amazing to work with for our engagement session and for our wedding photography. Amy made us feel at ease while she took the "staged" portrait photographs, and the majority of the photographs she takes are candid shots, which turn out beautifully. Meghan does a wonderful job of editing the photographs so that they still look natural with vibrant colors. Amy and Meghan were an absolute joy to work with for our engagement and wedding photography and we can't wait to see how our wedding photos turn out! -

Amazing, Personable Magician!

Meghan rolfe- elopement goddess
Ethereal, raw, authentic, honest, glowing, natural... just a few ways to describe our photographs from our wedding day. Both my *husband* and I feel the photos capture our nature- easygoing, carefree, light and simple. Not to mention we feel equally gorgeous and handsome through her craft. We don't have enough wall space for the beauty in the diverse shots from the day. Meghan Rolfe is an amazing artist- and you don't even realize as it's happening as she makes you feel natural, not at all awkward or staged during the photoshoot. From first phone conversation ("I think we might, maybe want to run away to Ashevile to elope, perhaps, potentially...") to day of Meghan felt more like a bridesmaid and BFFL than hired professional. Coming from out of state, our elopement could have been stressful but Meghan took care of it all. The all included package from Elope Outdoors is unreal- Meghan picks up a delish cake from a lil bakery in West Asheville, grabs INSANE flowers (and flower crown, ladies--- you gotta do it!) from friends at a local wild flower farm (let Nikki at Flourish do what she wants for your flowers by what's in season, I promise you won't regret it), she sends you questionnaires to find out what your vibe day of and dream wedding looks like and gets to know you as a couple, grabs the bubbly, leads you on an adventure to one of North Carolina's most incredible landscapes and connects you to an officiant (NICK- unreal at personalizing our intimate ceremony- we asked to video chat with him in weeks leading up to elopement to customize ceremony. It took any awkwardness out, again, felt like reconnecting with an old friend. He can be formal and religious or spiritual and hippy-dip. Very flexible team depending on ceremony vision.). Couples require a degree of flexibility and trust to optimize the adventurous spirit of outdoor elopements and unpredictable weather in NC. Meghan watches the weather radar with diligence day of and is flexible to move couples to new locations or to a gorgeous local Asheville inn if mother nature is actin' up. We switched our spot up last minute due to storms and Meghan was clear, knowledgable and communicative of new plan- no stress at all. Meghan acted as a travel agent, wedding planner, photographer and absolute gem to have witness to our most sacred moments. She loves love, loves her craft and loves the natural landscapes she works on daily- and it shows. Prices are unreal affordable and you'll leave with images for the rest of your life that reflect your true spirit. AND- she gets them to you ASAP so you can blast your fam & friends with that surprise announcement. Now we just have to fly back to Asheville for life's other special moments to have Meghan photograph... THANK YOU MEGHAN! -

I can't express enough how well Meghan does her job. She's incredibly professional, catches and suggests how to fix little details to make a pose even better, and captures the most meaningful candid moments. In addition to shooting our wedding, my husband and I also took engagement photos with Meghan. The quality of the photos is above and beyond and some of our most treasured photos from our wedding are candids. We had many guests comment at how professional and talented Meghan is and how unless we were posing they didn't even realize she was there. I highly recommend Meghan for all your wedding photo needs! -

We thoroughly enjoyed Amy during our small ceremony! The moments she caught on camera were perfect and truly genuine. With Meghan's eye for editing the photos, they turned out beautifully. She was very pleasant and friendly, accommodating and easy going. I highly recommend her! -

We asked Megan to be our wedding photographer and couldn't be more pleased with our decision! From the first time we met her she was very friendly and easy to talk to, and explained that her style of photography was very natural; it was exactly what we were looking for. She kept in contact with us throughout the wedding planning process, and was very helpful whenever we had questions. She was always professions and very prompt with returning e-mails. We she came to shoot the wedding she was very laid back, and went with the flow, even when we were behind and changed a few things up at the last minute. We recieved our edited photos promptly, and are I love with them! She did a wonderful job and captured so many beautiful moments; all our friends and family agreed after seeing the photos. We cannot recommend her enough!

I knew when planning our wedding that I wanted quality photos, but I knew that was going to come with a price. I searched and found Meghan and was ecstatic that I didn't have to significantly sacrifice other aspects of the wedding to be able to afford her. She was willing to come to Charlotte for our wedding and she spent a full 9 hours with us. It felt like I had a close friend following me around all day and capturing happy moments for me. I loved working with Meghan and I would highly recommend her! I showed her my Pinterest page and she was willing to try new poses and ideas from my page which was fun! We got our photos back about 2.5 weeks after the wedding and here we are almost 2 months later and I can't stop looking at them! You will not regret hiring Meghan, I promise! -

Meghan was a fantastic photographer for our fall wedding! She was very professional and had a clear vision of how she wanted the pictures shot which made it a breeze on the day of the wedding. Her outdoor/setting sun pictures are stunning and we are so happy with how every single picture turned out. We really felt like she captured our relationship and our wedding day perfectly. She is also very timely, we got our wedding pictures in about two and a half weeks! We absolutely loved working with Meghan and are so thrilled with our results! -

Meghan was fantastic. We found her both through a referral at our venue (Homewood) and by her well deserved high ratings on multiple wedding sights. She was always quick to respond to any and all of our ideas and concerns. She arrived early and with a game-plan. She was already familiar with our venue and had great ideas of places to photograph us and our wedding party. Meghan was extremely professional and made it a point to know the schedule of different events throughout the reception as not to miss any of the more important moments (I've been to many weddings where photographers take breaks at inopportune times and miss things). She took care to not only focus on us and the wedding party but to capture everyone in attendance in some way. Her services were very reasonably priced and worth every penny for the high quality pictures and professionalism she provides. -

Meghan was a delight to work with! She was always very easy to communicate with in the time leading up to the wedding. We were a little worried because our wedding was in a somewhat remote location, but she actually showed up a little early and started taking photos right away. She definitely exceeded our expectations in terms of capturing all of the important moments, getting candid photos of guests, and posed photos with the wedding party and family. You would never guess that there was just one photographer based on the photos she got! We also got the photos back really quickly after the wedding, and they were gorgeous. Highly recommend Meghan Rolfe photography! -

Meghan was so great to work with from the very start to finish. Sweet as can be and so professional on the big day. I can not stop looking through all of our photos. They are stunning. We had a beautiful venue and I am so glad she was able to capture it. My husband and I always feel awkward taking photos but Meghan helped us with how we should pose and the photos look just amazing. Meghan was so wonderful!! We could not have asked for a better photographer to capture our Asheville, NC wedding. She was easy to communicate with, very professional, and extremely talented. She is great with the classic wedding portraits, but what we loved most was the natural and candid photos she captured throughout the day. We are more than happy with how our wedding photos turned out, and we love how we feels as if we are reliving our special day as we look through them.

Meghan did a phenomenal job for our wedding!! We are from out of town and found her online and couldn't be happier with how our pictures turned out. Meghan captured our day wonderfully. We actually had to change the ceremony time two days before the wedding due to poor planning (on my part) of when sunset would be. She was more than willing to change the time of ceremony which took a huge amount of stress off of me. She has such a sweet personality and I absolutely loved working with her. We were lucky to be able to have Meghan as our photographer after our original photographer double booked us. I think it was for the best because she did a wonderful job wrangling our families together for portraits, somehow making everyone look great. She was patient and listened to what we wanted and produced hundreds of pictures with the most beautiful colors. Her pricing was totally reasonable compared to others and you won't regret getting to work with her. -

I can't say enough great things about Meghan- she was great at responding in a timely manner to emails, she was willing to work around our schedules (something we really appreciated as we live about 5 hours from Asheville), and she was great at helping us feel comfortable in front of the camera. I would definitely recommend her, and if we ever need a photographer while we're in the Asheville area, she will be our first choice! -

We hired Meghan as our wedding photographer.
Meghan was wonderful to work with and took AMAZING pictures! Meghan was quick to jump in and start taking pictures the minute she arrived at the venue. She was flexible when we changed our plan and started taking some group pictures before the ceremony as people arrived. She must have been a ghost at the reception because I never noticed her but she captured every second! My favorite part about the pictures is that they capture the true emotions of the day. My mother-in-law told me a few days ago that when she looks through Meghan's gallery "it's like reliving the night in slow motion!" You can't go wrong with Meghan! Her prices are very reasonable and the end product is something you'll cherish forever! -

Meghan was fantastically flexible. We were not certain of a time or location even the week before our elopement. And, we had this crazy idea to drive up into the mountains to for sunset after our ceremony. Meghan was totally up for this!
She seems to have a special talent for outdoor photography and understanding how to use natural light to create breathtaking images. We have many incredible pictures with the sun setting behind us over the mountains. It felt like a dream when we were there, and somehow the pictures captured the beauty and magic of it all.
Within a couple weeks of our ceremony Meghan sent us a link to view and download all of our pictures. With the digital copies, we can use and print them however we want.
If you're looking for a photographer with an eye for great outdoor pictures, who is fun, and also flexible - Meghan is the one for you!

Meghan did our engagement pictures and then our wedding. Her photography skills are magical to say the least. You would think she had a whole team with her for the wedding, she just never missed a beat and was everywhere she needed to be at the right time. She captures sweet moments and has an eye for an amazing picture. Our photos will be cherished forever and we will be returning to Asheville for family photos by Meghan in the future! -

Meghan was amazing! She was so easy-going, she made the process fun (and my husband and I are not fans of having pictures taken)! The pictures turned out even better than I could have hoped. My favorite moment from the day was our first look. We hadn't even considered a first look until talking with Meghan. She mentioned several clients who had done one, and loved it. She encouraged us to consider it (without any pressure!) and I'm so glad we did! The photos she captured from that short time were some of the most meaningful and beautiful of the whole day.
I highly recommend Meghan to any bride-to-be!! -

Meghan is awesome! She is always quick to respond, and her prices are more than reasonable. She met us at the location of our elopement right on time and ready to go. She even brought a friend to serve as our second witness. She hiked uphill for about 1 mile to get to our spot. She made us feel comfortable, even with a bunch of strangers watching us exchange vows. She had great ideas, and was more than willing to go along with ours. She finished culling and editing our images super fast, and they are absolutely beautiful! There is great mixture of candid and posed shots, and there were so many for such a short event. I am so glad that we chose Meghan to photograph our elopement! -

Meghan was professional, charming, down to earth, personable and very accommodating. The way she captured our special day is beyond words and we cannot thank her enough. The picture book we put together from her photos is just stunning!
She worked with a slight delay due to another vendor; talked to us to get to know us and put us at ease while taking our pictures; and really made the process very easy. Once you meet Meghan, you can see why she does what she does -- it just comes so natural.
She accurately set a timeline on when we would receive our pictures and she kept in touch along the way. Both the online viewing and the disc were easy to use and worked without issue.
If you are looking for a professional photographer who truly enjoys what she does, and it shows in her work, you will be more than pleased with Meghan Rolfe. -

I can't say enough about Meghan she went above and beyond her duty as a photographer. We eloped in the Smoky Mountains and knew nothing about the area. Meghan was extremely helpful helping us choose a location on the Blue Ridge to get married. When rain was threatening to ruin our day she was willing to be flexible. She was the perfect mix of professional and personable. On top of all that her photos came out AMAZING! -

Meghan did an excellent job as our wedding photographer. She captured all the special moments, but did not interfere with the festivities, as I have seen other photographers do at weddings. She brought warmth to the experience too, it almost felt like we had been lifelong friends. She made everyone feel comfortable, and made the day extra special for the wedding party and our guests. Meghan photographed our elopement, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. She was professional but relaxed, and knew exactly how to use indoor-outdoor lighting and scenery to create not just photographs for us, but very artistic and authentic representations of the special moments we had that day. So many wedding pictures I see are totally lacking in feeling and creativity, but she has the magic touch. I would recommend Meghan as a photographer for anyone wanting more than just "run-of-the-mill" photographs and instead wanting someone who understands how to capture the true beauty and emotion of a special day or event. -

Meghan did a great job photographing our wedding. She had lots of creative ideas about shots for us to take together, but also totally faded into the background during the ceremony and reception so I didn't feel like I was constantly being photographed. The pictures she took though show how much she paid attention to the important moments of the night, and they capture the event beautifully. We particularly love the photos she took outside- she has a great grasp of how to use sunlight and shadows to make art! We couldn't recommend Meghan more- her prices were very reasonable and her product outstanding! -

We renewed our vows at Triple Falls in DuPont State Park. Meghan was great in helping us capture this special moment. She guided us to setup in a space that would work best for lighting and chose other spots in the park that worked great. When she sent us the CD with all the photos, we were very impressed by the quality and how many photos she took. It was very personalized and unobtrusive, I would definitely recommend her. -

Meghan is AMAZING!!. Meghan was our photographer for our wedding at Albemarle Inn in Asheville. We chose this venue for our elopement because of beautiful Albemarle and because we wanted Megan to be our photographer, (after seeing her work). Her work is exquisite, she is wonderful to work with and took her time taking pictures of our special day.
I had Meghan do my boudoir pictures the morning of the wedding, a wedding gift for my husband. I was a little nervous, but once the session started I relaxed and enjoyed it. Meghan was great! . Professional, encouraging and my husband LOVED the pictures.

Me and my husband eloped and got married at the Albemarle Inn in Ashville NC and we paid for a package deal which included photography done by Meghan. Before I decided to go with this package I looked up Meghan's work online and thought she did amazing work (the photos are were the most important part of the package to me).
She ended up being very nice, fun and easy to work with considering we had never seen or spoken to each other before. She got the photos to us very promptly and they were more amazing than I imagined they would be. I am very happy with the work she did and I would recommend her to everyone in the area. -

Meghan captured our moments of our elopement perfectly at Triple Falls. She was flexible and suggested we go to the foot of the falls for the wedding. It was a perfect place to capture our vows. Working with Meghan was delightful! She is so easygoing and undemanding; my husband and I hardly knew she was there as she snapped away. She has great vision, but it comes so naturally to the moment. We eloped for the sole purpose of being completely alone and united, one-on-one. Meghan being there did not impinge on this even slightly. She did an amazing job capturing our happiest of days without us ever really truly feeling her presence. When we were engaged with her, she was just lovely -- calm in demeanor, but also sweet and charming. We did not video our wedding ceremony, so her pictures are all we have of this momentous occasion, and she captured every emotion! Our wedding had to be planned in 3 weeks due of unforeseen schedule changes. Meghan was recommended by our minister. I contacted her less than 2 weeks before our wedding and she was able to fit me in. She was much more than our photographer - she actually helped us to find a beautiful affordable outdoor venue and recommended hair/make-up artists. Meghan was very professional but also very friendly and down-to-earth. She made us feel very comfortable and we now have absolutely gorgeous photos of our special day. Our wedding photos by Meghan well exceeded our expectations.
We had an outdoor, farm wedding in Leicester, NC and Meghan was able to capture the natural beauty of the landscape, which was important to my husband and I. Meghan captured all of my favorite moments of our wedding. There was lots of laughter and we will treasure the photos of the smiling happy faces forever. She used her expertise regarding lighting, posing and candids and all of the photos came out beautifully. Meghan is definitely has a gift for photography.

I was lucky enough to have Meghan as my photographer for my wedding. She has a very artistic view that captured the surroundings beautifully! She was able to take different pictures that were more natural looking rather then just posing for the camera. She photographed our emotions throughout the entire day exactly how I remember it. She provided a wide range of options to chose from ranging from color, black and white, close up and far away. Our overall experience was fantastic and I would definitely recommend her and her services to anyone who wants quality pictures from a personable photographer who can customize your event however you envision it. -

Meghan took newborn photos for my two-week-old baby girl and did a FANTASTIC job!! She was willing to come to my home, based on my daughter's crazy schedule, with beautiful props and great ideas. She patiently dealt with wardrobe changes, feedings, diaper changes (and accidents!), crying fits, and a sleepy baby. And despite all that, she captured priceless images that will stay with me forever. :) -

I used Meghan Rolfe Photography for a Mad Men themed social event and fundraiser party, and I was extremely happy with the result. I had worked with Meghan several times before on photography projects, and as always, she was wonderful. She's very good at communicating, shows up on time and prepared, and she takes absolutely wonderful photos. Whether you're planning a wedding, social event, anniversary, or you're a woman wanting to have some boudoir or pin up style photos done to give to your husband or significant other, I can guarantee you'll be happy with her work. I'll be using her again to photograph another big fundraiser event (Diva Night) in October. -

Beautiful Photography!
I was referred to Meghan Rolfe through one of my bridesmaids. Meghan worked with me to find the perfect fit for what we wanted on my wedding day. She explained everything in detail and answered all my million of questions. I was a little afraid with photography as my sister had a bad experience at her own wedding where her photographer never even took photos of her and her husband. Amy was my shooter for the day of the wedding. She was on time and put up with our friends craziness with grace. A few weeks after the wedding, we got the photos to preview. They are AMAZING! They are the most beautiful photos and captured everything that happened on our big day. So thankful to have found this amazing team! -
