Meghan was recommend to me from a friend when I started the wedding process, and working with her turned out to be one of favorite parts! She made my fiancé and I feel comfortable in every setting, and the photos she sent us for both our engagement and wedding were STUNNING! On the wedding day, Meghan managed to take beautiful detail photos, complete a long list of desired family photos, and make us feel so confident every time she worked with us. In one of our earliest conversations I described to Meghan how I liked soft light and bright photos, and when we received our wedding photos back, I was shocked with how perfectly she nailed my vision. I could not be more thankful for her flexibility and work ethic. She’s helped us capture our favorite day so beautifully, and we look forward to re-living it over and over again through our photo albums! I’ll recommend her to any local friend I have! -

Meghan was the perfect photographer for my husband and I’s wedding!! Not only did WE love our experience with Meghan but our wedding guests had nothing but great things to say about her and her work! She was patient with me and ALL my family, she made sure to get every detail of the venue and every special moment in the day.. and even when things didn’t go as planned.. rain delay, etc.. Meghan was still able to capture the day in its entirety! I highly recommend Meghan to anyone who is looking for someone to capture a special event! -

Meghan captured our family portraits and bridal party photos with efficiency and excellence in 100 degree heat. The groomsmen (of all people) gratefully noted how fast the photos went. She sent us an extensive gallery of photos capturing so many special moments. It took me days to go through! :)
One unique thing which I believe sets Meghan apart is how she looks out for other couples at the wedding. She captured fantastic photos of my grandparents, parents, and other couples close to us. This spoke to how a wedding can be the one time you have all these special people in one room; it's a celebration of family and friends as well as the couple. And Meghan really captured that. I'm especially grateful for this since I have some adorable photos of my grandparents dancing together from my wedding in June and my grandfather just passed away this October.
All in all I'd say, hire her! You'll have lovely engagement photos (which I'm using as profile photos on everything) and a wedding gallery with enough photos to fill a $500 photobook on Mixbook (I still haven't ordered mine because I certainly don't want to pay that much for a photobook and I can't part with any of the pages of photos I have in there now! lol) -

We decided on the Lincoln Memorial for pictures in DC followed by War Memorial and World War 2 Memorial. Meghan happily agreed to do all 3 locations with the walking involved. We had requested for an hour with Meghan but she stayed with us over time and considered all our requests. It was drizzling a bit and we were skeptical, but we trusted Meg when she said the pictures would turn out good and they did! We couldn’t be happier with the pictures. She’s also very sweet and pleasant to work with and made us very comfortable. We were very happy, as you can see in the pictures :) -

Meghan is the best!
Meghan is such a talented photographer and went to extreme measures to ensure my wife and I were so comfortable and happy with our pictures. She has an unbelievable eye and put so much detail in our photos. Can’t recommend her enough! -

Simply put, you should hire Meghan immediately! Meghan is a super nice person, so professional, and an awesome photographer. Our photos were more beautiful than I could have imagined! She's very communicative and gave great tips in preparation for our engagement session. On top of her amazing product, on our wedding day she calmed me down when I was kind of freaking out about my makeup AND she did great crowd control during the ceremony to get the perfect shots of my dad and I coming down the aisle. If I could, I'd hire her for every bride I know!! -

Meghan was an absolute dream to work with. For my husband and I, the Nuptial Mass was the most important part of the day, and knowing Meghan personally, we knew she would be able to capture the true beauty of the Sacrament - and she did! She went above and beyond to facilitate a relaxed and joyful experience on the most important day of our lives. Having large families, she was incredibly patient while being necessarily commanding during our large family portraits. She brought peace and comfort to our day and I trusted that our wedding photos would turn out beautiful. However, I really didn't imagine loving them so much! Somehow she was able to capture the bliss of the day, our love for each other, and the gift of the love and support of all of our family and friends. Looking through all of our pictures is like reliving the best day of our lives over and over again. Thank you, Meghan, for the gift of your art! -

Meghan was incredible to work with--professional, poised and very talented at what she does. We booked her right away after a friend recommended her. Meghan was extremely helpful and had great communication throughout our two year planning process. When we had to postpone, she was flexible and understanding. We were very impressed with our wedding photos and how quickly they were returned. She captured everything we wanted and more! Review for Meghan
Meghan was simply the best at every level! Her communication, planning, listening, and understanding during one of the craziest and most difficult years of our lives, truly eased wedding planning in a pandemic. And her photography talents are unmatched, awe-inspiring, and incredible.
My husband and I are still so blown away and thrilled at how Meghan captured our day. Her attention to detail, as well as the capturing the big picture truly comes through in her photos. It was a bitter cold day in D.C. and she quickly, yet methodically, ensured we captured all the shots we wanted and more! One of our favorite shots was a spontaneous shot of us with the Capitol illuminated by the sunset!
We could not recommend Meghan more! She is amazing and you will be so happy that you chose her as your photographer. Thank you for everything, Meghan! -

Working with Meghan is a dream!
My fiance and I were a Covid couple pushing our wedding date three times and Meghan was there every step of the way. Meghan is kind, and truly has a gift for capturing the beauty of your big day. I am also much more camera shy than the average person and Meghan made me feel much more at ease!
She is an absolute pro at events, and her pre-planning process makes everything run smoothly. Can't say enough good things about Meghan and she goes above and beyond for her clients.

Amazing, accommodating photographer!
Meghan was a dream to work with, especially on such short notice and with so many changing details (covid mini weddings, amirite?). She was super accommodating when we moved the ceremony up and added guests (from super tiny guest list to tiny guest list) for portraits. She was more than willing to follow all of the safety precautions we laid out. And she was truly a star at directing my family members for family/guest portraits and finding creative poses/locations for our couples portraits. None of us are particularly comfortable in front of the camera, but she made us look and feel great. Plus, she turned around our entire gallery in less than 36 hours, which helped us share the "wedding weekend" with all of the people who couldn't join us in person. The photos came out absolutely beautiful, and I know we will treasure them forever! -

Meghan is a gem! She is a fantastic photographer and wonderful to work with - she is the consummate professional. We just received our photos and they are stunning!
Through out the entire process, Meghan was easy to work with and made what can be a stressful process much less stressful. She listened to our ideas and gave honest advice about what she thought was best when we were trying to select shooting locations for our engagement photos and pictures following our ceremony. Prior to the wedding, she provided us with a detailed questionnaire, ensuring that she was able to capture all the pictures and details we wanted from our day.
Meghan has an excellent eye and is a very artistic photographer. She has a feel for the right light, and is able to capture airy, romantic shots. She excels at portraiture - the pictures of us, our families, and our bridal party are exceptional. We are going to have a difficult time choosing pictures to display, they are all lovely!
I cannot recommend Meghan enough! You will not be disappointed. -

Amazing & stress-free!
Meghan was an absolute pleasure to work with! She is super sweet and made our day stress free when it came to the photography. Meghan and I had plenty of check ins leading up to our big day to ensure we were on the same page, but honestly I was able to leave most of it up to her. What I loved the most about Meghan was that we decided NOT to do a first look, which ultimately meant we had to cram in all of our pictures prior to cocktail hour and she was calm as a cucumber working with our large bridal party. Meghan truly was a dream to work with and you are missing out not hiring her as our wedding pictures are stunning! -

Having Meghan photography our wedding was the second best thing about our wedding day (after marrying each other, that is). Aside from taking gorgeous photos, Meghan came early and prepared (she even brought a golden hanger to photograph my dress on), helped us beautify one of our signs by placing some of our excess flowers and greenery on it (she asked first), buttoned my dress whenever it came unbuttoned, corralled our large families with ease, brought a great second-shooter, directed us when we needed it (and got the sweetest pictures in the process), and felt more like a good friend than a vendor. She also masterfully drove a golf cart quite a ways to get lakeside photos of us.
During the planning stage she asked which photos we wanted so that she would definitely get them, even when I forgot them. Communicating with Meghan was easy, and she quickly responded to my emails.
Her turnaround on both our wedding and engagement pictures was quick. She got our wedding pictures in 2.5 weeks, and our engagement pictures within 2 or 3 days. When you're eagerly awaiting your photos, it her turnaround is a godsend.
Perhaps most importantly, the she takes amazing photos. I've received countless compliments on how stunning our photos are. Meghan expertly captured all the emotions of our wedding day, and we couldn't be more grateful. -

Meghan was an absolutely amazing photographer - not only were the pictures themselves fantastic, but she also is very easy to work with and made both myself and my husband - who hates pictures! - very comfortable. On our actual wedding day, I didn't even know where she was but the quality and quantity of pictures we got was truly amazing. Can't recommend Meghan enough! -

Meghan is an AMAZING photographer! She not only takes beautiful photos, but she is very friendly, responsive & professional!
From the beginning, Meghan kindly answered hundreds of questions we had in a timely manner. She was very flexible for our cherry blossom engagement shoot. Meghan gave us tips on how to pose and the pictures turned out amazing!
For our wedding, Meghan helped us determine the timeline and actually helped us keep on track on the day-of. She captured all the details & memorable moments with her artistic view.
For both engagement & wedding photos, the turn around time was very quick and all the pictures turned out to be romantic & beautiful!

We loved working with Meghan for our wedding’s photographer! She was awesome on our wedding day. And her schedule even freed us up for cocktail hour so we could spend it with guests, which is super rare! It was also a quick turn around time to get the photos back so it was awesome not having to wait a month like I’m sure is what happens with other photographers. The photos turned out so beautiful and we will cherish them forever :) -

Meghan supported us so well. I had trouble deciding a lot of things but she was so patient and not at all pushy. She was really confident which helped me feel calmer. We were so pleased with our engagement photos that we asked her to do our wedding photos as well. Her photos were even better than we hoped and there are so many good ones I've had trouble deciding which ones to frame. I was really pleased at how she captured special moments at both the wedding and the reception, especially things like me and my grandma together and pictures of the little nieces and nephews. We loved having her gentle and easy-going but very professional presence at our wedding and we couldn't have been more pleased. -
