We could not recommend Megan more! Her extraordinary talent and professionalism made our wedding planning experience a joy. We started planning our wedding 18 months out and were thankful that Megan was available. Her sense of people and color is truly remarkable. Megan was one of the first vendors I booked for our wedding and I am SO thankful she was available because I really cannot imagine my wedding without her or a better experience from start to finish! Megan is extremely professional, talented and so personable; she made our engagement and wedding day photos so easy and enjoyable and gave great direction when we were feeling camera shy. She also went above and beyond what I ever expected, she helped me with decisions beyond just our photographs and her eye for design is IMPECCABLE. My wedding would not have been what it was without her encouragement to embrace my dreams of bright colors. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Megan and would recommend her to anyone!! -

Magical, amazing photographer!
Megan surpassed our expectations and we knew she would based on just our initial contact. We knew she was the one for us for my daughter's wedding and it was a seamless process. She captured what we were looking for and the pictures were magical. That would have been enough to make us happy, but her personality and laughter brought a sense of fun and calm to the wedding. We are so glad we found her! -

Megan was amazing, I can not recommend her enough! I loved her photography when I began looking for a wedding photographer, but was sold after I spoke to her on the phone. After she was hired, she stayed in touch throughout the entire wedding planning process, and was incredibly helpful when I had any questions, even if they weren't related to photography. After the wedding, she was prompt when getting us our pictures, and made sure that receiving them was done in a special and meaningful way. I am so thankful she is the photographer we found for our wedding! -

Megan was one of the first people I hired for my wedding because I knew photography was important to me and I absolutely loved her work. BEST DECISION EVER. She was so fun to work with and truly has become a friend over the past year and a half. We had a blast during our engagement session last year and she did a fabulous job for our wedding a month ago. I admire her thoughtfulness, attention to detail, artistic ability and creative energy. She is a quirky person and we clicked immediately :) She cares about her clients so much and truly loves what she does. I am so impressed by her and can't wait to see all the amazing things to come in the future!!! -

Wedding Photography
This review has been the most difficult review to write for my wedding vendors and only because I was- and still am- worried that I would not have the words to do Megan justice for all that she’s done.
My husband and I got married during the Covid-19 pandemic and had to be nimble as we changed dates, cut guests, and essentially replanned a wedding that was less than three months away. Megan was there for all that, even getting on the phone to talk out what it would look like to reschedule not just for photography, but for a wedding overall. She was so supportive of our decision to postpone and she rescheduled her services free of charge even before any state mandate required us to postpone an in-person event.
From the very beginning, even before rescheduling our wedding, Megan has been nothing short of incredible. She is extremely communicative, thoughtful, and caring in all that she does for her clients. Her business is her heart and that shines through in her work.
Each photo from our wedding day is filled with so much light, love, and joy. With each shot, Megan captured the absolute best of us and we could not be happier with how our gallery came out. We will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives.

Wow wow wow. I cannot day enough AMAZING things about Megan! Add the stress of planning a wedding and a pandemic and you’ll have one overwhelmed bride. Megan acted as my best friend during the entire process!!! I am from Kentucky and only video chatted with her once before booking her and never met her but once when I drove down to NC. She made me and my (camera shy) husband feel so comfortable and like we had known her forever! She tended to me during the rain, got every shot I asked for and played in the rain with us. We had the absolute best day, even during a pandemic. I’m even thinking about driving 6 hours back to NC so that sweet Megan can photograph my maternity photos! I love her and would HIGHLY recommend her to any bride, any couple, just anyone in general. You will not regret it, I literally have the most beautiful photos from my amazing day. Everyone RAVES over my photos. They’re literally jaw-dropping. I could praise Megan all day, seriously. -

I would give Megan 10 stars!! Not only so we have STUNNING pictures she helped me navigate the muddy waters of a covid wedding! Even during a pandemic our day was perfect and Megan captured is beautifully! She is genuine, caring and responsible, exactly the type of person you want with you on your wedding day! Amazing amazing amazing!
There are not enough words to describe how talented, personable, and absolutely amazing Megan is!! Megan captures genuine moments to serve as timeless heirlooms for us to look back on for years to come! We have continued to get so many compliments from friends and family on how stunning our engagement and wedding photos are!! Megan provided us so much comfort on our wedding day. Through those day-of stresses, she was there for support and helped keep things on schedule. I am so excited to move into our new place and order our prints for the wedding gallery wall. Megan is not only an extremely amazing photographer, she is the sweetest person ever!! The decision to have Megan capture our engagement photos, bridal portraits and wedding day is one of the best decisions I made!!!!! -

It was raining the day of the wedding and Megan was great because she was experienced in taking photos in the rain and she was a trooper, standing out in the rain while the people were under shelters. But most important, she talked frequently to our daughter about what she wanted before the wedding and they were comfortable confident and with each other. Would highly recommend!! -

Worth every single penny.
Megan was wonderful to work with. My (now) husband and I had the most difficult time trying to find a photographer for our wedding. We met with several photographers that were great, but either their personalities weren't quite right for us or their prices were double what we had planned to spend! I eventually got so stressed with the task that I handed it over to my husband to find our photographer and that's when we found this amazing gal. We had no doubts after our video call consult with Megan that she was the perfect person to shoot our engagement and wedding photos. Let me tell you - you will NOT be disappointed if you choose her to shoot your engagement or wedding photos (or any other type of professional shots!). For our engagement photos, we all endured the WORST weather. My hair was soaked within a few minutes of shooting and I really think I was fighting off hypothermia! It was FREEZING! I was so worried about how our photos would turn out. Megan knew I was stressing and she got our photos back to us so quickly! They turned out AMAZING. We get so many compliments on them and we still love looking at them together. For our wedding day, Megan was amazing again - no surprise. She and her second shooter showed up early to capture all our details and did a great job rounding up our crowd to get the photos we wanted. One of my favorite things (there are many!) about Megan from our wedding day was when we were about to do our first look. I started panicking. I'd been running around all morning getting last minute things settled and all of the anxiety of the day hit me like a train. Megan looked at me and said, "What are you nervous about? You're about to go be with Nick - the most comfortable place you know." My wording could be off slightly, but that was the jist and I so needed to hear that. I could literally write a short story about how amazing this woman is. Oh, AND, she got our wedding sneak peek to us less than 3 days after our wedding and apologized for taking so long (😂). She's amazing ya'll. Just ask around the area - she's known and loved by all the other best vendors. Thank you, Megan. We love you!! -

Megan was absolutely wonderful on our wedding day and for our engagement photos and my bridal portraits as well! She has this way of making you feel amazing and capturing the sweetest glimpses of your love in the most special way! She helped me stay calm during that last crazy month before the wedding and even helped me with the timeline and getting things organized. Megan helps everyone to feel relaxed and have a good time even during portraits! She was there early and stayed late and never missed a moment the entire day! Her photos are perfect and timeless. I will always treasure them! I loved that she is quick to get you a sneak peek of your shoot. Then the anticipation for your delivery is at nail biting level! But she was ahead of her estimated delivery date for us every time. Book her for your photos if you love detail, gorgeous lighting, and want to feel amazing. You won’t be disappointed!! -

I am so lucky that we went with Megan to be our wedding photographer! We first met over a lunch in downtown Boone where we got to know one another and talked about wedding details. She then kept clear communication moving towards the wedding date, and sent me lots of good info (and the sweetest surprises in the mail). The day of she was nothing short of perfection. She directed the photos brilliantly, and we had so much fun. Our wedding photos are STUNNING and even better than I could have dreamed. -

Amazing!!!
Megan photographed my wedding in December at the Inn at Crestwood, she goes above and beyond! Not only was she incredibly helpful leading up to the wedding day (weekly emails giving suggestions and answering questions), on the day itself, she was prompt and she was absolutely present. She moved around the wedding capturing beautiful moments, helped to make things feel natural, and she was so aware that she nudged people to invite others to dance to ensure a welcoming environment for all. After the wedding she has been more than prompt getting our pictures back to us a week before we expected them and organizing them in a very user friendly manner. I could not recommend her more! -
