Amazing, professional, organized.
Mēgan and her team are always on top of things, extremely professional to both clients and other vendors, and will do anything to help you achieve your dream wedding. As a photographer, I have the chance to work behind the scenes with them and I love it! The organization is unreal and they really know how to keep everyone on track as well as happy! -

Megan Kennedy of Megan K Events is a life saver!
Having to plan a wedding from out of town can be stressful but after meeting with Megan and hiring her, it was not stressful at all. Great communication. No hidden costs. We planned well and, subsequently, could enjoy the wedding weekend without stress or headaches. I would 100% recommend Megan K Events for wedding planning. She was a joy to work with! -

Simply the Best!!
Mēgan K and her team created the destination wedding of our dreams! Their professionalism with every aspect of planning made the process straight forward for us, especially since we planned from afar. They have fantastic relationships with vendors and recommended a selection based on our tastes, which worked out perfectly! Mēgan and her team went out of their way to add special, personalized touches. I received SO many complements from our bridal party, families, and guests about how "on it" our planner was! No detail was overlooked and the day went off seamlessly. Every step of the way we were taken care of. I highly recommend hiring Mēgan K Events for your wedding!! They are THE BEST! -

The BEST wedding planner!
We had such a wonderful experience working with Megan and her team for our wedding on April 6th, 2019! From the initial first meeting up to the day of the wedding-it was a great experience! Extremely talented in all she does-we wanted this to be our dream, fairytale wedding and she created that for us! It made the wedding planning experience so much more relaxed and enjoyable knowing we had her as our planner. Mëgan and her team were always on top of everything-making sure every single detail was perfect, the way we wanted it to be. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect because of Mëgan and her team!-

Blow the Roof Off New Year's Eve Wedding
Megan is hands down, "the best." Our son, Dalton, and the daughter we've always wanted, Haley, were married on New Year's Eve in downtown Pensacola on December 31, 2018. It was truly "out of sight" and Megan is responsible for making it happen and providing phenomenal "once in a lifetime" memories! Megan killed it! She has the unique ability to transition the stress to her shoulders, rain or shine, so the bride and groom, and family and friends, can focus on what's really important. She's very detailed and leaves absolutely nothing to chance, and is there with you from beginning to astonishing end. This was a large wedding and we've had so many tell us it was the best they've ever attended. We're from the Orlando area and there is guaranteed no one in this area who can touch Megan. Wedding, November, 2018
Some people are born party planners…….I am not one of them. As the mother of the bride, I knew I was in for months of planning our daughter’s wedding. I also knew I couldn’t do it alone. Thanks to Mēgan and her team, our daughter’s wedding exceeded our expectations.
Our daughter had a few ideas of “the look” she wanted for her wedding but she definitely had more opinions about what she didn’t want. Mēgan listened, offered suggestions, supplied us with the names of vendors and we were off and running. The months flew by with tasks to complete before each meeting so we were always on track with things that needed to be done.
We wanted to be ‘present’ for our daughter’s wedding and enjoy every moment. With Mēgan in control, we did not worry about one thing. That is a huge comfort. There is also not one thing we would have done differently. We didn’t worry about a thing the week of, the day of or the night of the wedding. We were able to take it all in and be a part of it all. It really was the perfect evening.
To say that we couldn’t have done it without Mēgan is putting it mildly. Due to her efficient attention to detail, there was not one thing that was overlooked. We still do a ‘high five’ at the good fortune we had to have met someone who understood what Emily envisioned. Mēgan more than delivered. All the hard work paid off in the end and the wedding was exactly what our daughter wanted…..and more. We give full credit to Mēgan for making it so memorable. I cannot imagine trying to pull this off without the assistance of a professional. Mēgan is all that…….and more!

I cannot speak highly enough about Megan Kennedy as a person and as an event planner. She is the kindest soul you’ll ever meet and the woman is literally the best in the business at what she does! As soon as we got engaged I knew I had to have her help. I got married on Halloween, which was also a Monday.. extremely inconvenient for everyone involved but the day is very special to us. Megan didn’t mind at all and went... above and beyond I feel is even an understatement... to make this day perfect and run smoothly. She went to dress fittings, was always available to meet when I needed, answered every text/email/call with enthusiasm, was in constant contact with all of our vendors, basically made chairs appear out of thin air for the wedding and everything you can think of in between. I couldn’t have pulled off our wedding without her! She is the kind of planner that has two backup plans in her back pocket at all times and literally thinks of everything you might need/want to have or do. And she does it all in heels like a boss. Can’t recommend her enough!!!

From the very first meeting, I instantly felt a connection, sense of organization, energy and genuine desire to make my daughter’s wedding the most beautiful and special day of our lives. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!
Being the frugal type, I was surprised at the cost. I figured I could have handled this is at a fraction of the cost. Was I ever wrong! The time, patience, communication, guidance, and total professionalism that Megan displayed throughout this event was impeccable. By far, the best money I have ever spent!
I'm a bit of a control freak (being honest) but felt so comfortable having Megan steer through the day - and she pulled off WAY better than I envisioned. She was the go to person coordinating everything on our behalf. Best decision I made. Period. She proved herself time and time again with a level of enthusiasm and energy that allowed me to relax and not worry about any details during a potentially very stressful time. There was no doubt Megan had our best interest at heart and constantly made us feel as if my daughter’s wedding was her number one priority.
Thank you so much for everything - all the calls and meetings, emails and checklists. Thanks for keeping us calm, putting out fires and just getting stuff done. :) I could have not done it without you!
Perhaps the wedding day was her finest work! I did not have to worry about a single thing on my daughter’s wedding day, and it was so comforting to know that we were in good hands. She ensured everyone involved knew exactly where to be, what to do and when to do it. Everything was planned, implemented and executed with perfection! When we walked into the reception, we were blown away by how incredible everything looked, and our guests were super impressed too!

Stephen and I had so much fun planning our wedding with Megan! She took our ideas and ran with them. Everything ran so smoothly on the day of which is exactly what we wanted. At the end of the night, Stephen and I both agreed that everything from the ceremony, reception décor, food and send off all exceeded our expectations. What can I say?! Wow Wow Wow! Megan is by far the most PROFESSIONAL event planner I've come across. I had the pleasure of working with Megan to make one very special Destin Florida Wedding Couple some very happy campers!! She was so detailed in direction and her itinerary was splendid! As a band, we don't always get to have information like that at the start and she went out of her way to give me all the information I needed and I was able to direct my band, The After Party Experience, towards a great performance and a beautiful and exciting reception! I can't recommend Megan enough for her hard work and great service!! My band, The After Party Experience, had the honor of working with her and her team for a recent wedding in Destin Florida! Let me just say that it flowed smoothly thanks to her. Her itinerary was incredibly detailed down to COLOR CODES for each vendor to follow and make sure everyone was on the same page! I've never seen such professionalism and attention to detail! She was even able to make sure our accommodations were made for green room and food! Megan K is truly amazing wedding planner! Being an out of town bride, I immediately began my online research and came across Megan K. Events in Pensacola to plan our destination beach wedding. Megan and I hit it off during our initial meeting. She was so informative and personable. I knew I wanted to work with her so over the next year via numerous emails and phone calls we worked closely together to plan our beach wedding weekend. Megan also works with only the BEST vendors in the area and we were was so thankful for her list of referrals. All of the vendors that we hired provided EXCEPTIONAL service!!! Megan K was a pleasure to work with and I could not have done it without her. I was most impressed that even after all of the wedding activities were over she left wedding basket in our suite with food, cake and champagne for us to enjoy from our reception. Teresa and I enjoyed a perfect beach wedding in Destin, FL on March 15, 2015. We are not from the area, so required someone local to the area to guide us through all of the elements of planning, contracting, and enjoying the services of the vast number of vendors along the Emerald Coast.
A quick web search revealed a large number of wedding/event planners in the area. We contacted many, and decided on Megan K. Events because of the professionalism, and thorough detail provided by both Megan and Rachel concerning all of the elements we need to consider for a destination wedding. The team was focused on our requirements from the very first call, through the planning stages, the day of the event, and follow up afterwards.
Teresa and I used the Megan K. Events team as our source for information on high quality vendors for the various elements of our day. Megan and Rachel provided multiple recommendations for cake designers, general caterers, bar tenders, and guest transportation options. For the most part we relied on Megan's top recommendations, and found those vendors to be perfect for our special day. Looking back, neither Teresa nor I can think of anything that we did not thoroughly enjoy about our experience with Megan K. Events. Our use of Megan and her team spanned some 5 months, we took our time doing our research on the team's recommendations. While Teresa and I only had the pleasure of actually meeting with Megan once, we fostered a personal relationship with her and we attribute that to her exuberant personality, and tenacious desire to meet the needs of her demanding clients.
Teresa and I want to thank you Megan. We both highly recommend your services as an event planner and wish you all the best with a successful and prosperous business future.

About a month and a half before the wedding we unexpectedly moved about five hours away from Pensacola, and so I contacted Mëgan Kennedy and her team to help with the last minute details. Mëgan was incredibly helpful finishing up the plans I had started and making sure all of the details we hadn’t thought of were in place. She solved a number of potential crises day-of that I was unaware of until after we had arrived home and talked about the wedding with my parents. She ensured that the day was incredibly smooth. Even though my make-up artist canceled DAY-OF she arranged for me to see Jacey Cosentino of Skin Beauty Boutique. My husband has some skin allergies and other issues so we had planned on having him see her already to make sure he was comfortable, but Mëgan arranged for us both to have our makeup done without seeing each other! Her assistant Rachel was awesome during the reception, making sure everything ran smoothly, and again solving last minute crises in a jiffy. Mëgan also had an intern working the wedding, which is fine by me since it seems the best way to learn, but she was more of an observer than a help. -

Everything we wanted Megan listened to and found a way to make it happen for us. When we needed her she was there, and her staff was always attentive. I hired Megan K. Events when I was planning my wedding. It was the best money I spent. Megan is so nice, thoughtful, and optimistic. She is always there to give ideas, advice, or to take care of things that are stressing you out. Megan also seems to know who to call when "little emergencies" arise, and everything magically works out. Megan was a joy to work with and is someone that I now consider a friend. She is the best!!

Megan is as wonderful of a person as she is a planner. We met almost 2 years before my wedding and through that time we spoke via email and phone and had some in-person meetings. She was very tentative and quick to respond with all my numerous questions. I planned a good bit of my wedding from long distance and she gave me great references to contact. She was helpful in every aspect of wedding planning down to the last detail. With having Megan Kennedy on my side I was so relaxed the day of my wedding and I didn't have to worry about a thing. I also used Megan K.'s florist Christine Clark "Ella" who is just as wonderful and captured my ideas to a T!! I would recommend Megan to all brides if they want a fabulous wedding!! -

Megan Kennedy and her crew are awesome! We hired Megan for full planning of my daughter's wedding and couldn't have been more pleased. She is extremely organized and knowledgeable about every aspect of event planning. She has great connections with every type of vendor you can imagine. She handled everything from scheduling tastings with the caterer to meetings with photographers and DJ's. Christine Clark, Megan K.'s floral designer, absolutely blew us away with her design and decor! She listened to my daughter's vision and boy did she deliver! It was absolutely beautiful. Rachael was wonderful too! I could go on and on but bottom line is this - my daughter had the wedding of her dreams thanks to Megan K. Events! -

The entire wedding weekend, my fiancé, family and I were all able to relax and enjoy every moment without having to worry about anything at all. We trusted that Megan and her team would take care of everything, including any problems that arose.
Christine did all of the flowers and decor for my bridesmaids' luncheon, wedding at the church, and wedding reception. We were blown away with how beautiful everything looked. She was able to figure out exactly what I had envisioned for my wedding (and I am very picky) and design accordingly.
I am so thankful that Megan k events was recommended to us, we couldn't have had the perfect wedding we had without them!!! -

Megan is a delightful person to deal with. She is extremely organized, never missing the smallest detail. The only mistakes we made in my daughter's wedding were the items we exchanged Megan's ideas for ours. She has so much experience and wisdom, and she was the perfect one to lead us. I was six hours away, and when I turned everything over to Megan, I did not worry about a thing. Christine, Megan's florist, was an absolute wonder also, so gracious and talented. Megan handled everything...down to holding my purse at the reception, with such aplomb and graciousness. She often saved us money by brokering deals with vendors. What a marvel she is. I will always be grateful to her...such a talent. -

The ladies of Megan K Events are absolutely amazing! I came to them with a very specific, over-the-top vision for my wedding and they helped turn my dreams into reality! I must admit, I'm a bit of a control freak and I'm a perfectionist, so it was very hard for me to turn my wedding over to someone else, but Megan and her incredible team put me completely at ease! They allowed me to sit back and enjoy my special day, instead of having to manage it! I was so calm on the day of my wedding because I knew Megan K was in charge! She also helped keep everything organized and flowing smoothly. One of my greatest concerns for my wedding was that it would be filled with awkward moments, which make me very uncomfortable, but because of Megan K Events I can honestly say that there was not a single awkward moment the entire day! This review is several months overdue, but no less important to my wife and I. In June 2013, Megan K and her team of expert event coordinators helped my wife and I have the best day of our lives. I was in the unique situation of planning a surprise vow renewal for my wife as we vacationed in my hometown of Pensacola, FL. Being out of town, I only had three weeks left and there were so many details still left to finalize. I told Megan K and her team all the details of my plan and what I needed help with, and they picked up the pieces and ran with it. Megan K and her team are awesome! They helped us with everything from vendor recommendations to helping us deal with a contract issue with a vendor. The vendors Megan recommended were stellar. And she thought of every detail for us. It was such a relief on the wedding day not to have to worry about rounding up family member for pictures, telling people where to go, etc. If we had any questions Megan K and her team gave us good advice and responded to us promptly. They made us sand dollars with guests names as the seating cards, which were a huge hit! Christine with Megan K did our flowers and decorations. Both were everything I wanted and more. I really wanted cafe lights and the venue was challenging to do that, but Christine made it work. We're so glad that we went with Megan K and her team - it saved us a lot of stress and helped us put on an amazing wedding that we're still getting all kinds of praise for! -

Megan K. Events was our “Fairy Godmother Team!”
I remember the first time my daughter and I met with Megan and Amy...they were delightful, energetic, professional, and had a contagious confidence! When we got in the car to leave, my daughter was very excited and had such a "good feeling." As an out-of-town MOB, she knew I would be more objective and cautious in our choice of wedding planner. So, when she asked what I thought, I had to answer honestly, "She had me at 'Rain Plan!'" And while, thankfully, we didn't need the Rain Plan, what a wise decision we made!
Megan’s Team thought of everything and while we knew they have many other brides and events, I can only believe they make each of them feel as we did...like we were the most important thing they had to do. Megan K. Events made my daughter's dream come true...and I am thankful from the bottom of my heart. Megan K. went above and beyond our expectations and did so smoothly, professionally, and with reassuring smiles.

I'm the mother of the bride. I did not want my daughter to pay for a wedding planner because I thought she could handle it. I can't possibly begin to adequately describe how enjoyable and successful of an experience we had working with Megan and Amy! We opted for the 'Month Of Event' package, and from our very first meeting with them we were absolutely blown away by their thorough, professional, and enthusiastic style! I consider myself a decently organized person, but their organized and systematic approach to event preparation was beyond impressive! I had complete confidence in their ability to take everything over from me that last month before the wedding, and they completed delivered in every aspect!
One of my greatest wishes for our wedding was that our closest friends and family, as well as myself and my husband, wouldn't feel like we had to worry about anything during the wedding or reception, and that wish certainly came true for me! From Megan's expertise with lacing a corset-style wedding dress, to the reassurance that there was a 'rain plan' in the event of bad weather, to making sure we ate food at our reception, I can truly say I did not have any worries on my wedding day about whether everything would come together and flow smoothly thanks to Megan and Amy.
While I know Megan K Events is working on many weddings and events at any given time, with every encounter they absolutely made us feel like we were the only event they had going on at that time, and I'm completely confident they give that same level of attention and genuine enthusiasm to each of their clients! Without a doubt I would recommend Megan K Events for event planning and coordination and absolutely think the cost for our Megan K Wedding Package was some of the most worth-while money we put towards our wedding!

As a veteran event planner and Exec Assistant, I knew having a wedding planner would be necessary! I hired MeganKEvents to plan our wedding at the Pensacola Country Club. Megan and her team were so on top of things that I never once felt the urge to micromanage. I was able to completely pass over the reins and enjoy being a bride and focus on my husband, family and friends. We mingled and enjoyed ourselves trusting Megan to let us know when to cut the cake or toss the bouquet. Also any time I left the crowd, they would be there to help refresh and take notes on any concerns etc. I never once felt like they were obnoxious or intrusive. They kept things running smoothly and on time without it feeling rushed or structured. Our wedding felt exactly what I intended it to. A high quality event at an elegant venue yet family and friends focused and as comfortable and relaxed as a house party.
Megan referred me to her in house designer, Christine. What a wonderful collaboration! She instantly got my vision, NW meets beachy chic. She incorporated all of my designs, let me borrow some of her material, and supplemented with her props and stunning florals. While she was not available the day of the wedding to do the flowers and set up, her colleague, Dottie was absolutely incredible! My bar was pretty high having already seen their portfolio and some of the designs they had created for our wedding, but to see it all together the day of, WOW - completely surpassed the bar! Incredible!
As evident from all my text above, I can't recommend Megan enough! She is truly a tribute to her profession. She's got a killer team of gals including her designers, Christine and Dottie. Also, each and every one of her vendor recommendations were spot on! My only regret is we couldn't have two weddings. One for us and one for us to be guests at!

Megan k. provided wedding planning for my sister's wedding and did an incredible job. Her wedding was amazing and Megan and her associates were there before and during to make sure that everyone involved in the wedding was comfortable and knew what we were supposed to be doing and where we were supposed to be at any given time. My sister was so relaxed and happy on her wedding day!
I also appreciated that Katie from Megan's office called me a few days before my sister's wedding and asked if I had plans to decorate my sister's bridal suite. Katie then sent me several ideas on how I could decorate it. I sent the ones I liked back and during the reception after the wedding, Katie and a few other girls from Megan's office snuck over and decorated my sister's bedroom. They also set out breakfast pastries and a mimosa bar for the next morning for my sister and her new husband to enjoy. They even remembered my request to put a tiny veil on a metal chicken my sister has outside her house!
I was so impressed that Katie took the initiative to call me and ask about this special detail of decorating the bridal suite, and that she and the other girls took on the task of buying all the decorations and doing all the decorating. I was so busy in the days before the wedding that it was wonderful to be able to hand it over to Katie and know it was taken care of!
They go above and beyond taking care of every detail and making sure that not only the bride is well take care of, but so is everyone else involved with the wedding! -

Christine and everyone at Megan K Events did an amazing job planning and putting together an absolute beautiful prom for the students of B.T. Washington High School. They took our themed and brought it to life. The night was more than any of the students dreamed it would be. For me as the prom coordinator it was great to see the faces of the students as they walked into the venue. I know that it was a night that they will remember forever. Christine was a pleasure to work with. She made my job as the prom coordinator easy! I can truly say that I don't know how this prom will every be topped.

Megan K. Events was my one stop shop for just about everything for my wedding. I met Megan at a bridal expo back in 2011 and from that day, I said that when ever I got married she would be my wedding planner. Once we really started planning we, went sat down with her and I never interviewed another planner. I knew she was the one! My theme, if I had one, was Simple but Elegant and she did not let me down. I told her the colors that I had chosen and she ran with it, but included me in every aspect. My invitations were ordered through Megan K. and they were amazing so I knew that the rest would be smooth sailing. I hired her and her team for my decor and flowers and I can't tell you how amazing my wedding looked my bouquet was the most beautiful bouquet that I have ever seen. All my centerpieces were just perfect. I had a bridal luncheon and Megan's staff coordinated everything. They were always available when I had questions and I had lots of questions...lol...but she was very patient. If anything went wrong, I never knew because she was just that good. I could tell that she actually loves what she does and it showed in every thing that she did for our big day. She is so good that she made me fall in love with event planning. Megan K Events went above and beyond for my special day. My family and I had been burned by a couple wedding planners before we found Megan and we went in very hesitant. From the moment I sat down in your crisp clean white chairs in her office, I felt like I found the One. She knew how to balance some of the dynamic personalities that I carried in my bunch (my mom, our reception owner, and of course me!) and was able to make us feel like we were all getting what we wanted. I also considered myself a pretty organized bride but she and her team blew my organizational skills out of the water. They think of everything! Plus, I’m very budget conscious and was prepared for sacrificing a few things that I really wanted for our wedding. Megan showed me that I could have it all AND more! (continued) Only casual beachwear would be appropriate. Guests were treated to my special recipe of margaritas by waiters and waitresses on the beach to get them "primed" for the wedding. The ceremony was absolutely incredible and MEgan and her entire team were there to make sure that everything went perfectly. She was amazed that we allowed our little grand nephew and niece to carry the actual wedding bands tied to the starfish though the beautiful white sand to the arbor...but we knew that James and Savannah would do their job without a mishap! She would have known this had she already seen them dance later to Flo-Rida during the reception! MEgan and her team of professionals were absolutely fantastic in planning our beautiful Pensacola Beach wedding. It started with a simple phone call to just talk and "meet" MEgan. Since my wife Sharon and I both live out of state, work non stop at the hospital, and live a fair distance away, we needed someone that would "take care of every detail"...and MEgan and her team did just that. She was recommended highly and we were sure lucky to listen. We had our children and significant others fly in from all over the USA, our brothers and sisters and their families do the same, along with a very few close friends. We rented an elegant beach home where MEgan visited, then sent pictures, and suggested how we would make this into our beautiful reception party. Then MEgan and her floral designer, Christine, transformed the home into something out of a magazine...moving furniture out and flowers, tables, candles and works of art in. Christine then proceeded to build the perfect Arbor decorated with unbelievable flowers for our wedding ceremony, along with the flowers on the doorsteps and inside the home to greet our families and guests. It was magical. David, the chef that works with MEgan's team, was extraordinary. A culinary genius and a great guy to work with. The food was enjoyed by all. David even prepared food for the pre wedding Gulf fishing trip the day before and would have been even tastier if not for the 4-6 foot swells that day...but fun and lots of fish caught anyway. MEgan suggested the perfect string quartet to play at our evening wedding. They even learned new musical scores that we requested and played beautifully. She even introduced us to the absolute best minster to say our vowels. Dr. Geoffrey was calm, funny, and a great person to entrust such an important event The June sun let up about the right time with gentle clouds rolling in for a perfect sky. Planning a large social gathering (i.e. wedding) that carries so much meaning to the hosts is a very challenging task. My husband and I spent 9 months planning our wedding with Megan K Events, and I know I could not have done it without them. Everyone at Megan K were such a pleasure to work with. They really put 100% of effort into making our wedding day perfect for both of us and our guests. Throughout the preceding months, Megan and the girls were professional, friendly, and ready to guide me through the planning process. At the rehearsal and on the day of the wedding, the entire team worked together so well to make sure that everything was timely and organized. Everything went so smoothly. I told Megan at our first meeting that I wanted to be able to focus on the important aspects of getting married and enjoy my wedding day. She and each member of Megan K Events worked tirelessly all day to make sure that happened. I could not ask for a better result than what I saw and experienced on my wedding day. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for help planning an event. Megan, Christine, Molly, and Amy are wonderful ladies, and I'm so glad that they helped me plan my dream wedding. -

Megan K and her staff are remarkable. They are organized, proactive , professional and mostly "imaginative." They did most of the heavy lifting on a "best ever" event at the National Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola, FL. This was a once in a lifetime event we entrusted to MeganK Evensts to assist in planning and execution and they did not disappoint. In fact, Megan and her staff exceeded my expectations in every single aspect. I would highly recommend Megan K Events to anyone planning anything from a small dinner party to the largest, most compelex event imaginable. They are remarkable folks!

If I could give the Megan K gals 10 stars I would! They gave me the wedding of my dreams and so much more. I don’t even know where to start. When we (my husband, MOH, and I) walked out of our first meeting with Megan, all of us said in unison, “She is the one”. These are the sweetest, most professional, and humbled ladies on EARTH! They have worked with me for the past 14 months with planning my wedding and they made this process so pleasurable and not stressful especially since I was planning from out of town. All the headaches I imagined would come with planning an out of town wedding never came up. Megan and her team where so responsive to my needs, request, ideas, just everything. They are the David Tutera’s of Pensacola, just magnificent!!! My mom, bridal party, and vendors that I hired from where I lived were all so impressed with the professionalism and the open lines of communication that were availed to them throughout this process. All the small things that one would normally forget, Megan and the gals did not. The magnificent Christine, WOW is all I can say!!! The wedding décor was absolutely PHENOMENAL!!!! Megan K. Events was simply a SUPERB team to work with! Megan, the owner & lead planner is a fireball of energetic activity, creative ideas & spunky attitude. Megan is engaging, personable, and well equipped mentally to handle the most difficult circumstance, with a fresh and caring approach to weddings. She remains a friend and we exchange emails often a year after the wedding!
Our wedding was unique; our reception was held in the National Naval Aviation Museum. Nestled between historic aircraft on an aircraft carrier deck, Megan had to provide EVERYTHING, from vintage furniture groupings to mood lighting to centerpieces and décor. I have heard over again that the reception was the most amazing and BEST one people had attended. Megan listened to our wishes and our hearts and honored them with what they delivered. This is personalized services at its finest. Megan’s attention to detail in executing their creative plans carried the day (and night), coupled with the expert and experienced team she brings.
It also stormed on our beach wedding! Megan’s team constantly adapt in real-time, changing at the last possible moment to the reception venue. Although we were crushed & stressed, Megan was quickly able to reset our attitude onto what really mattered. This honest approach simply added to the unique freshness of our wedding; unscripted, loose, free, and full of love, happiness & celebration.
Megan helped source most of our vendors, having a superb grasp on and personal relationship with the local area’s offerings and vendors. From helping us taste-test our signature cocktail, to meeting at us all across town, Megan became our trusted advisor in all-things wedding.
We had serious issues with our photography and are still dealing with them a year later. Megan has remained personally & professionally involved, and has been instrumental in getting our services resolved without litigation. Until you are satisfied, she remains by your side as THE planner of choice. -

They had everything ready to go and could help us adjust everytime something went slightly wrong (changing best man the week of) (grandparent's not coming) etc. We had more help than we expected from their team and went from only hiring her to really help with day of and give some advice, to realizing we really didn't do anything! It was a very bittersweet thing. I would definitely recommend her and her team to anyone and I know that through this experience my husband and I also gained a friend, as well as a beautiful day that we shall always remember and cherish! -

Megan K. Events was an absolute lifesaver! We used Megan K. Events for a wedding reception at the Barkley House. They met with us on several occasions to discuss our wishes and everything they did far exceeded our expectations. They coordinated with all the vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page and everything came together perfectly for our special day. It was absolutely wonderful to drive by the Barkley House the morning of our event and see the Megan K. Events team hard at work setting up everything for the reception and I didn't have to do a thing, except show up to the most incredible gala affair I have ever been to! I was so proud of everything. We are still getting compliments from all of our guests. Everyone was very impressed. The décor was fabulous! They made sure things ran smoothly before, during and after the reception. They not only set up, they broke everything down and cleaned up afterwards. We simply walked away with leftover food they boxed up for us along with fond memories of a spectacular evening that will last forever! We have gorgeous pictures to proof it. They are worth every cent because they have the knowledge and expertise to make your dreams come true even better than you can imagine. Thank you again for everything and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to have the perfect event without all the hassles and hard work. I found Megan K Events online searching for a wedding planner for my destination Destin, FL beach wedding and I absolutely made the right choice!
The most impressive about Megan and her team is their ability to keep up with each and every detail, reminding me about items that needed a decision, selections, etc. - many of which I left up to Megan K. Events to decide for me and they pulled through completely!

We highly recommend Megan K Events for wedding planning. My husband and I were planning a destination wedding and could not have pulled it off without Megan and her team. They handled all decour and flowers and were excellent at recommending local vendors. I was able to put my faith into their work to carry out my vision for my dream wedding. And guess what? I wanted to wake up the day after feeling I didn't miss anything and because of Megan and Christine, I could spend all my time enjoying my daughter's day. Chris and Sarah are so very happy to have had the day of their dreams. Megan's best asset is her perservance and proactive work ethic. I never had to worry about a single detail because Megan had thought of it and taken care of it before I could begin to worry. My favorite part of her planning service was the initiative she took to make direct contact, not only with vendors, but with the bridal party, out of town guests and family members. She had every second of our wedding week before and week after planned, and we never strayed from it or got off target. For a long time, I didn't think that I needed a wedding planner because I love weddings, and I already knew what vendors I wanted to use, so I thought I would just do it myself and save the money to spend somewhere else. I followed several wedding blogs even before I got engaged and went to a few bridal shows, so from what I heard and saw I knew I really should get a wedding planner, and I had to have Megan. I am so glad that I made this decision. From the minute I first met Megan, I felt comfortable, I felt like she got my vision, and I felt like she truely cared about me and my wedding.
I chose the "Month of" wedding package because as I mentioned, I already knew what I wanted the wedding to be like. During planning when I had a few questions, Megan always pointed me in the right direction. Sometimes I questioned if doing the "Month of" package was worth it because I felt like if I was planning everything, what would Megan do, but I was very wrong. I met with Megan for the "hand it over" meeting where she asked me very detailed questions about every aspect of the wedding. She had very good ideas that I hadn't previously thought of.
The week before the wedding I was so calm and wasn't stressing about anything (which is a rare occurence) because I knew that Megan and her team were going to take care of everything and that their expectations are just as high as mine. The rehearsal and wedding day couldn't have gone more smoothly and effortlessly.
I chose Christine from Megan K. Events for my flowers/decor, and I can't even express how AMAZING she is as a person and as a florist. She spent so much time getting the design exactly right, and I absolutely LOVED everything she did for us. She only does one wedding per day unlike the other florists around, and it really shows in her work. I'm so grateful for you Christine! Our wedding was better than I had dreamed, and even though it practically never happens, our wedding was flawless! -
