  Can't recommend enough!

  I am so glad that we found Megan as the photographer for our wedding - she was just the best! Her personality made us super comfortable in front of the camera and made it so much fun. We did the engagement shoot with Megan which was a blast and an awesome way to get some practice with the poses and being natural in front of the camera. On the day of our wedding, Megan went beyond her photography responsibilities - helping us make sure we knew timing, coordinating with our planner - and kept us totally on track with photography timing. She kept it moving quickly which was one of my biggest goals for the day-of which was amazing. On top of all of these amazing things, Megan's photos are also beautiful and love the color/lighting she's able to create. Can't recommend Megan enough!!

  Highly recommend Megan Chase Photography

  Megan was the first vendor I reached out to after we got engaged last year. She had done my sister's wedding in June 2018 and we knew she was the best. My husband is not a huge fan of taking pictures, but Megan made him feel comfortable and kept him laughing throughout our engagement session. She makes sure you are relaxed and enjoying yourselves because who wants pictures where you look forced to be happy. When we had to postpone our wedding from May to July due to covid, Megan responded to my very lengthy email by calling me on the phone and ensuring me that she was there for us, whatever we needed, and the new date worked. It was such a relief to us to have one less thing to worry about when we were having to move everything. Not only am I constantly blown away by the quality of her work (seriously, such gorgeous photos), but she does a great job keeping everything positive and light on your big day when things can get really stressful. We love Megan and we will recommend her to everyone.

  The Best!!

  When my now husband and I started to plan our wedding we knew that photography was one of our top priorities. I started to do some research and came across Megan. I am SO glad that I found her. Right from the beginning Megan was so helpful, friendly, and accommodating. After we talked a couple of times via email and phone we met up with her to grab a coffee. This is when we knew we hit the jackpot with Megan! She is so personable and makes you feel so comfortable. Not to mention she is literally hilarious! When we met for coffee we discussed all of the details of what to expect on the wedding day (time frames, which combinations of family photos we wanted, etc) which we found to be really helpful.
  
  When wedding day finally came Megan was such a blast to work with. She has such a fun and friendly personality that you literally feel like you are just hanging out with a good friend! Even if you aren’t used to taking photos or posing it doesn’t matter at all she will help you and make you look amazing in the photos!! She kept my husband and I laughing all day and it just felt like she was a part of the family! She is extremely talented and you can tell she really loves what she does. The pictures that we’ve seen so far are absolutely stunning and we couldn’t be more thankful!! I can’t wait for the next big life moments that I need captured because I will definitely be using Megan again!! If you are in need of a photographer, hiring Megan will be the best decision you can make, HANDS DOWN!

  Megan is amazing! Not only was she accommodating and professional, she handled our wedding exactly as requested (my husband wanted mostly candid photos and was grumpy)! You won’t find someone more in touch with her clients and the photos turned out incredible. She is the only real splurge we had since it was a courthouse wedding and I would never have done it differently! Highly recommend!!

  Megan was one of the best investments of our wedding. She had done a few of our friends’ weddings and we LOVED her work. She was the first vendor we hired. She is so knowledgeable about the wedding industry that she even helped me pick out a planner that she thought would be a perfect match and she was totally right! Megan is personable, honest, direct, super chill, funny, and has such a distinct and gorgeous photography style. She is so easy to work with and was very responsive leading up to the wedding.
  
  On the day of, Megan was punctual and worked her tail off! One of the biggest comments from our guests was how great Megan and her assistant were and how dedicated to getting the perfect shots they were. She also ensured that we got all the shots in but were fully present and enjoying our wedding. My family was amazed at seeing how helpful she was in addition to taking photos. She had great communication with our planner and was helping with other odds and ends the entire day. Our photos are so special and we have one of kind shots to remember our perfect day for a lifetime and we have Megan to thank! I highly recommend her services to everyone! You won't regret it!

Megan not only captured our wedding with amazing photos, but helped make our wedding day care free and enjoyable.   Megan was such a doll to work with! I knew once I got engaged that she had to be my wedding photographer! She was able to handle wrangling the groomsmen throughout the day and captured my wedding beautifully! She did an amazing job with the engagement session as well! She is so personable and lovely and you can not go wrong if you book her for your wedding!

She had quick turn around of over 1,000 edited pictures that we still look at on an extremely well organized online gallery.   I cannot recommend Megan enough. From start to finish, she was by my side, answering all of my questions in a timely, professional and friendly manner. We just received our photos back from our wedding and we could not be happier. She was a joy to work with on our wedding day and did whatever was needed, even if it didn't fall within photography. We used her for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Even our friends and family commented on how nice, professional, and also how fun she was to work with, and I'm confident this definitely made all of the pictures better. We have already received tons of compliments on our sneak peak photos! We'd recommend her in a heartbeat!

  Megan's beautiful work speaks for itself, but what distinguishes her from other great wedding photographers is not only the incredible service she provides, but her personality.
  
  I'm not an easy client-- I want everything to be perfect. I had high expectations for everyone involved in our wedding and Megan exceeded them all. This day meant a lot to my husband and I. We invested a lot of time, energy, and money towards this one day that we wanted to remember for the rest of our lives. This is why finding the best photographer was high on our priority list. I knew instantly when I met with Megan that she was that one—she went straight for the hug and then got down to business. Here are a few reasons why we loved her:
  
  1. She knew her stuff. You can tell from the way she planned with you that she had the right equipment, experience, and knowledge of her craft.
  
  2. She listened. Our wedding was intricate and detailed. She took the time to understand what was important to us and made sure to capture it.
  
  3. She took care of me. Having recently gotten married herself, she had been there and was happy to share all of the learning lessons from own experience. She even gave me a quick tutorial on how to make sharp turns in my big ball gown!
  
  4. She brought out the best in us. The engagement shoot was invaluable. She made my shy husband more comfortable in front of her camera and she made us laugh… like REALLY laugh! It brought out the best in us.
  
  5. She was reliable. I never had to worry about whether she’d be prepared, show up, or be timely in producing our pictures.
  
  6. She always went above and beyond. I won’t say how because the surprises up her sleeve are worth the wait!
  
  7. She delivered. At the end of it all, we received hundreds of pictures and we loved all of them. They’re everywhere—my Facebook, calendars, Christmas cards, photobooks… I can’t get enough of them.

  7. She delivered. At the end of it all, we received hundreds of pictures and we loved all of them. They’re everywhere—my Facebook, calendars, Christmas cards, photobooks… I can’t get enough of them.

  I had the honor of meeting Megan and her lovely husband 12 months prior to getting engaged and boy, am I glad we stayed in touch! Megan's bubbly, outgoing nature is matched only by her professionalism. She assisted my husband and I with everything from wardrobe selections to suggestions for session locations. Megan took great care in organizing every detail without being obtrusive or overbearing. Our only regret is not booking Megan as our principle photographer at our destination wedding!

Megan was responsive, honest, fairly priced, flexible in her approach and very professional. Most importantly, her work is superb and we could not have been happier with the range, look and delivery of the images. All this misses a critical element: the photographer is a key personality on your wedding day and Megan is friendly, warm, calm and kind. In short, someone who is a pleasure to be around. We're thrilled that my younger sister immediately chose Megan for her wedding photography in 2015!

  Without a doubt we loved-loved-loved working with Megan! She has a sassy style that kept us smiling during our engagement session. Our images were delivered to us VERY quickly, the fastest I've seen, and they were spot-on beautiful!

  All I can say is, WOW. Never has there been a word to more perfectly define our back-to-back sessions with Megan. As our well known friend Webster defines it: Wow (interjection)—used to express strong feeling (as pleasure or surprise), Wow (noun)—a striking success, wow (transitive verb)—to excite to enthusiastic admiration or approval. Yep - the perfect word. We had a blast frolicking around DC during a styled shoot -- We literally STOPPED traffic (safely, of course) to get the perfect shot. If that's not dedication, then I don't know what is. The fun didn't stop there! We had engagement shots with Megan during a sunrise session in Old town Alexandria. We were hesitant of the setting at first after Googling "engagement pictures in Old town Alexandria," but thrilled to find out Megan wasn't afraid to explore and find AMAZING backdrops for our shoot. If that's not enough, you'll appreciate that she will teach you how to look great through her lens - those cameras do tricky (and fabulous) things if you know how to 'pose' (in quotes because all of our pictures are full of natural emotion. =) I highly recommend her and even told my fiance -- "so, maybe I should get knocked up soon so we can call her for another shoot!" That may have been overboard, but I can't say it wasn't said!

Instantly, Megan and I hit it off, and the next thing I know, we have arranged for her to do my real engagment shots a few weeks later.   When my fiancee and I discussed engagement photos we originally decided it wasn't necessary. We are having a small wedding and didn't want any of the extra "frill" that goes along with planning. Boy were we wrong! When we met Megan down in DC I could tell right away what a fun day we were going to have. She made my camera shy fiancee feel at ease and gave great direction throughout the day. Although we are by no means professional models, she made it clear what she wanted us to do and was able to get some AMAZING shots of us. To my surprise, all of the photos looked as though we were just being ourselves. Living our lives. She followed up with a teaser photo the very next day and had the remaining photos edited and shared them just a few days later. We have since used these for our wedding website, newspaper announcement, slideshows and of course our social media sites. We have had such amazing feedback and it's so flattering.
