Ope was INCREDIBLE. Every guest we spoke about our ceremony with stated how beautiful our ceremony was. From our consultation call (or, vibe check!) to planning our ceremony, to me asking to include a surprise for my now-husband in our ceremony, her attention to detail was unparalleled. Our guests all asked how we found her, if we knew her personally, or if she was a friend. The way to she wove our story together and included personal touches and details made it feel familiar and so special. From our first meeting we knew that Ope would be our officiant, she instantly put us both at ease through her kindness and knowledge of the whole process. Ope is the most amazing, wonderful officiant ever!!! She went above and beyond to give us the most beautiful service. We spoke with her prior and shared our story, and she reached out to friends and family as well. She read our love story during the ceremony and it was beyond anything I could ever have imagined. She so eloquently and beautifully shared our love story and wove our first meeting to dating to getting to the alter so seamlessly that myself and my groom couldn't stop crying from happiness. What can I say Ope was absolutely amazing. It rained on my wedding day and we had to change the location for the ceremony and Ope really helped pull our wedding together. She married us last year October 20, 2023. She really was the best. She worked with our schedules and helped us come up with a script for our wedding so everyone involved who had time constraints could make sure they were updated. She made sure everything was perfect. My mother and in laws absolutely adored her as well. If you’re looking for a champion officiant with fair pricing, please go with Meet me at the Altar!!! -

We found Ope from looking at vendor lists on the Knot. We knew from the consultation meeting that she was the one who HAD to be there to officiate our wedding. Ope came to the meeting with an energy that eased all of our worries. She also got to know us as a couple and really made sure that we would be a good fit. Ope took the time to interview us and important people in our lives to ensure that she told our love story correctly. Our family and friends kept asking us how we knew Ope outside of here because of how personable she made the ceremony. Ope also has a command of the room and thinks fast on her feet. It was raining during our ceremony (the only part of our wedding day I should add) and we were outside. Ope was able to quickly keep the integrity of our ceremony while also making sure we weren’t stuck out in the rain. Ope truly goes above and beyond for all of her couples. We would HIGHLY recommend Ope. -

From the moment we met with Ope, my husband immediately said - she’s the one. She was kind enough to send us an example script so we could get a feel for her style and it made us feel like we could envision our own ceremony. Ope was so sweet and flexible, so organized, and so personable. She sent surveys to our family and friends to add a special personalized touch to our ceremony, and common feedback was that everyone who attended (even distant relatives we didn’t know) left feeling they knew who we were as a couple. She thrives under pressure, and I didn’t have to worry about anything the day of knowing she was there to run the show. She also worked collaboratively with our venue staff to make sure everything went smoothly, and handled any probing questions from our parents to make sure our ceremony was really what we envisioned. Ope is a celebrator of love, and she embodies it in everything she does and the way she carries herself at every wedding - you will be in the best hands!!
PS - she also is super helpful with the wedding license process and even double checked on us to make sure we didn’t forget to go sign and get our copy so we were ready for the day of! -

Ope was very organized from day 1. She helped us feel at ease and took the time to get to know us so that she could create our love story to recite at the wedding. We liked how energetic, confident, and charismatic she was from our first meeting. She came all the way to do our rehearsal as well (in the attached picture) and she was very organized and good at instructing everyone on what to do. We were hoping our officiant would be able to keep our guests engaged so that the ceremony didn’t feel boring, and Ope certainly accomplished that. Many guests told us after the ceremony how lucky we were to have an officiant like her. She was vital to our wedding’s success and feel so happy to have had her there to help us on that day. We highly recommend her. -

Right from the start we knew working with Ope was a great choice! She kept us organized and on track and was very prompt to reply to any of our concerns. We did a super simple elopement in the home of my grandfather and we kept it very short and sweet but it was Ope who went above and beyond and added so many special touches. We couldn't recommend her more! -

Meet Me at the Altar Wedding Services was great from the beginning. Ope's communication and explanation of her services was so helpful and we loved how involved she was in writing our love story. We feel she perfectly captured "our story" and we could not have asked for anything better or different. Ope was phenomenal!
Ope was more than we could have imagined she would be on not only our wedding day, but the weeks and days leading up to it. She was genuinely interested in our relationship and she took the time to learn about us, which made all the difference when she married us in front of all our family and friends. Many of our guests came up to us after the ceremony to tell us how great our officiant (Ope) was and that they had never been to a ceremony as fun and compelling as hers. Very Heartwarming Ceremony done by Ope
I have met Ope some time ago in our home town and found out she was officiating weddings. I knew her to be of good moral character and selected her to be our officiant. Our ceremony was perfect. It was individualize for our wants and ran seamlessly.
My husband and I were married in February 2022. Opeyemi was a perfect officiant! Thank goodness for her support. We really had no idea how to plan for our wedding ceremony and she provided great templates and ideas to get us started. Our wedding ceremony was happy and joyful, just as we had hoped. Opeyemi was an absolute professional and I would recommend her to any bride.
