User1322126 Sent on 09/10/2013I can not speak highly enough for the photography service Meagan provided for my daughter's wedding and engagement pictures. She was very professional in setting up the contract and participated in our venue walk through. On the wedding day she arrived early to take the get ready photos and brought a very capable assistant with her. Her assistant was actually a professional photographer himself who was supporting her as an assistant for that event. There were some things at the wedding that did not go according to plan but her pictures make everything look so beautiful that I forget about those things. She also has a modern perspective so the pictures are not old fashioned. She does beautiful work with natural light but can also do indoor and night pictures. The turn around was surprisingly fast. She posted some pictures to her website and facebook almost right away and within two weeks had the link to download the rest. When I showed a co-worker some pictures she said that they were much better than the photographer she hired for her daughter's wedding and less expensive. I highly recommend Meagan for any photography services. -

We were really excited about Meagan after looking at her website and seeing she takes pictures AND cinemagraphs. The engagement session went great however the pictures took longer to get than we expected but we figured it was just because she was busy with weddings. Then we had to reach out to her repeatedly for our cinemagraphs and still have not received them all. Wedding: We sent over a “must have” picture list well in advance of the wedding day. On the day she didn’t have it and I had to try to remember what it included. For many of the family shots she only took one picture and if one person was blinking or had a funny look on their face that’s what we’re stuck with. There are other wedding party shots that I expected to be taken as they’re basic, standard shots and we didn’t get them. Those are just some of the disappointments with the pictures themselves. Yes there are some GREAT shots however there are plenty we feel were missing. We never even got a cinemagraph of the two of us together. Towards the end of the evening there were multiple times we noticed Megan and her assistant standing around watching instead of engaging the reception. We were told we would have our pictures in 3 weeks. At 3 weeks we heard from Meagan, promising them that evening, but then they didn’t come. While we understand maybe she needed more time, we never heard from her unless we reached out multiple times. Over the course of a month there were many emails/voicemails left that would go unanswered. I know 3 weeks for wedding pictures is quick however don’t promise something and completely fail to deliver. I would have been just as happy if we were told 4-5 weeks and she actually MET that date. The over promising, undelivering and lack of communication was beyond unprofessional and frustrating. -

Caitlin Sent on 01/22/2015Meagan was an acquaintance of my husband and I and at first we were excited to use her as our photographer. First she did our engagement photos. The photos turned out beautiful and we were happy with them. This was in January 2014. Between January and September (our wedding month) Meagan did some boudoir photos for me.. again they turned out beautiful.
September 6th, our wedding day.. she was an hour late (her dog was sick, which I understand as a fellow animal lover) But we were a little rushed to get all the pictures in that we wanted before the ceremony. The rest of the day went smoothly. She was bubbly and friendly and made my husband and our guests feel comfortable.
It took about a month to get our edited images through the pass gallery. And I noticed that only HALF our wedding was posted. We had NOTHING after the cake cutting (no bouquet toss, no garter, no late night dancing, no sparkler send off) I inquired with Meagan and she said she would look into it. About a week later I had to come to her to see what she found out.
She told me it was something in her hard drive and that she would be sending it off to get fixed. This was the end of October.
It is now January 2015 and between my mother and I we have not heard from Meagan, not for our lack of trying. She has not responded to emails, phone calls, facebook messages, emails from our wedding planner, etc. NOTHING.
Come to find out she has BLOCKED my mother, my husband and I on facebook.
We are absolutely shocked. What did we do to her to make her withhold information about the rest of our pictures? I am so upset and disappointed that we will never have those moments to hold on to. We cannot believe the unprofessionalism Meagan has showed in the past months.
While the pictures we did get are beautiful, after this fiasco, I would NEVER recommend Meagan again.
