An amazing DJ for our wedding

Matt was absolutely incredible for our wedding. The whole process of working with him is awesome. He's super organized and professional. He has an app where you can upload songs that you'd like to be played at different points in the night. In addition to DJ services, he also offers great add-ons like a guitarist who played at our ceremony (he was also amazing), a photobooth, and lighting. So it's very one stop shop for these important details that really make the wedding special. On the day of, he did an excellent job managing the energy of the crowd. People were dancing the entire time and people of all ages had an awesome experience. We were so happy with how the night went - DJs can really make or break the ceremony and reception and he knocked it out of the park.

Matty MD the real MVP!

Matty was so easy to work with and personable! He truly felt like a friend to us, and made the night so much fun that we did not leave the dance floor! His transitions from song to song were flawless and he knew how to read the crowd. He understood exactly what we were going for, and he made the music aspect of our wedding something we did not have to worry about while planning. Would recommend him to anybody, looking for the perfect DJ!

A must book vendor!

DJs Matty and Brian were an absolute pleasure to work with! They were extremely organized, detail oriented, and understood our dance party aesthetic! DJ Brian mixed the songs seamlessly, and our guests were on the dance floor the entire time! We cannot speak more highly of Matty, Brian and the team!

Absolutely awesome experience with Matty. He is a consummate professional and music DJ master. He made our wedding planning process simple by getting every detail right. A Persian/Turkish Extravaganza!

I am so beyond happy that we hired MD Music & Entertainment for our wedding, and would recommend them to everybody I know. I didn't understand before our day what a big difference the music would make. But DJ Brian was incredible and did just what we wanted - kept the program running smoothly and kept people having fun on the dance floor all night!

My husband and I wanted to play music from our Persian & Turkish backgrounds. Brian diligently studied the music we provided, curated the best songs, and played songs from both cultures to the point where my family was shocked he wasn't a Persian/Turkish DJ! He truly went the extra mile and I'm so appreciative of that.

Beyond that, Brian has such a kind and positive energy, which added to our joy that day and made him all the more fun to work with. He was so responsive in the weeks before the wedding as we were getting organized. He and Matty provided helpful tips on the flow of the wedding to maximize the fun.

Brian, I can't thank you enough! You were such a big part of our special day.

Absolute perfection

Here's the truth: Matty and his team are in-freaking-credible. As a professional dancer and devoted lover of music, choosing a DJ was one of the most important details of our wedding. I've been to several weddings where I leave saying, "Everything was perfect!..but that DJ sucked." It sort of puts a bad taste in your mouth, right? A few years ago I went to a wedding for a friend and left feeling SOOO empowered, so happy, so sweaty, so pumped, and so full of love. That sense of joy? I know for certain it had a ton to do with the energy on the dance floor, which, in fact doesn't come just from the booze, but from the talent of the DJ...being able to sense the energy of the crowd, making seamless transitions from one mood to the next, catering to all age groups, etc. Its a craft. For weeks everyone couldn't stop talking about the DJ. When it came time for my own wedding, I had to track down my friend's DJ. His name is Stephen and I quickly found out he is one of Matty's trusted DJ Gods. Yes-they are on that level. Believe me when I tell you, that everything when working with Matty and his team is an absolute breeze. From contracts, to song selections, meetings, and even flow of the evening as it's happening, he'll take such great care of you. You'll run into circumstances on the night of the reception that you maybe didn't plan for....speeches take longer than expected, everyone's having a great time at the dance floor so why break it up just for the first course, drunk uncles wanting to request a song you hate...whatever it is, Stephen was able to navigate all of the shifts of the evening perfectly. He even met our main coordinator that afternoon for the first time and worked with her, as teammate, like they've been working together for decades. All while making us feel like rockstars. I cannot recommend MD Music and Entertainment enough. Pick them and you and your guests will experience the best wedding reception ever. There are many things people will forget about their big day as time goes on, but everyone being happy and dancing their hearts our on the dance floor is something we'll never forget. We forever have Stephen and Matty to thank for that. They are simply the best.

DJ Matty and DJ Andy were such a pleasure to work with!!! We wanted a low key wedding that involved lots of dancing and no cheesy "wedding" songs. Matty has an amazing website that helps with the planning process and separates every decade of music with popular tunes so you can go through and check off the songs you like. There are sections of his survey where you can list all the songs you don't want to hear as well. We had so much fun with the planning process going through all of the songs he had listed and couldn't remember them all so we would look them up on iTunes and listen to them all. It took forever but was a great time and made the whole process fun instead of stressful. The website autosaves everything so you can come back to it at a later date to finish it. It's genius! I have known Matty for a long time so when we got engaged it was a no brainer to call and book him for my wedding. Unfortunately he was already booked for another wedding that day already but he introduced us to DJ Andy who works for his company and he was such a great fit for us and our families. Andy was great, answered e-mails quickly, was helpful with the planning process and gave great suggestions. All of our guests said the music was great and even though we had an afternoon wedding, the dance floor was packed! And that's all I really wanted, for my guests to have fun and shake their booties!!! We gave him way more music than one can play in 5 hours but whatever he chose to play worked well and kept the flow of the wedding fun and exciting. It flew by! I highly recommend them both!

We are overjoyed with how perfect our wedding night was and a HUGE reason it went so seamlessly and was so incredibly fun was because of Matty. Amazing Experience!!

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Matty. He was so kind, professional, and caring throughout the whole process. He has an amazing vibe, which was exactly what we were looking for, especially since he was also our MC/announcer. From the start, Matty set up a few calls to chat about our vision for the wedding day. He listened to our ideas and gave great advice on things we weren't sure about.

Matty was super flexible and was open to our last-minute changes (which I really appreciate). We even added an Hora Loca, which was new to him, but he handled it perfectly. The night was a dream!

Our guests also spoke highly of him, saying what a great DJ he was. Matty's energy kept the party going and made our wedding day so special. We're so grateful for everything he did and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding DJ.

A wedding to remember!

Matty and Andy at MD Music were a blast to work with for our wedding reception. They were incredibly responsive, personable and knowledgeable as we game-planned the night, from music selections to the timeline of events. We could really feel that they were fully invested in making our big day the best party possible.

Andy was our DJ for the night, and did a wonderful job providing a playlist based on our preferences and dislikes. He was able to mix in various requests that people had throughout the party. He knew which requests we would be okay with and which ones to run by us first. We also used two additional live instruments (drums and sax) to accompany DJ Andy, and the three worked seamlessly to provide a great night of music and dancing. Andy add a few extra special touches which we truly appreciated. He played my parents wedding song to start the dancing back up after dinner and ended the night by playing our wedding song one last time.

MD Music pride themselves of providing the best party possible, and they more than delivered. They took our evening's timeline and packed in music and dancing for every possible minute, and the dance floor was never empty. We would highly recommend MD Music (especially Matty and Andy) to anyone who is considering them for their wedding.

We had a wonderful experience working with Matty and Andy throughout the planning process and with Andy on the day of the wedding. It was such a pleasure to work with Matty and Andy from MD Music and Entertainment. Fantastic Experience with DJ Dre!

We hired DJ Dre for our wedding last weekend and he did a phenomenal job! He accommodated all of our requests and did a great job MC'ing our reception. He came early and was really on top of everything to make the wedding go smoothly. Speeches, toasts, dance party, etc. he got everyone on the dance floor - even relatives we didn't even know had the moves! Going into the wedding, he was a great communicator who even sent us footage of previous weddings he did in our venue to show us optimal set-ups and positioning. Overall, DJ Dre provided a fantastic experience and we would highly recommend hiring him and Matty for your upcoming event!

Thank you, DJ Matty!!!

We absolutely LOVED working with Matty as our wedding DJ! It was super important to us for our wedding weekend to bring together western and Indian cultural traditions in new ways that felt true to us as a couple, and Matty helped us do that in ways we never thought possible — for us, that meant creating a non-traditional Indian baraat, and seamlessly incorporating everything from hip hop, to Bollywood & bhangra, to Abba, and beyond. Our friends and family couldn’t stop raving about the music all night, and I couldn’t have left the dance floor even if I wanted to! He took our song selects to another level with his transitions, timing, and final picks.

Not only was the music incredible throughout all parts of our wedding day, but Matty was so much fun to work with leading up to the wedding and we loved hanging out with him the day-of. He was an awesome MC, and he even checked in with us a few times throughout the reception to make sure we were feeling good about schedules and song choices (not that we ever had any complaints because everything was perfect!). His DJ setup also looks super sleek, and the uplighting and photo booth he and his team provided were awesome as well!

Perfect for us!

Brian was great! We had a smaller wedding at a restaurant and Brian was able to read the crowd and played songs that everyone could dance to. The vibe was fun, upbeat, yet intimate and it couldn't have gone that way without his help! He is extremely professional and we had two Zoom sessions throughout the process to go over our day so he could make sure he played everything we wanted. Highly recommend!

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Matty. We were unsure of whether to hire a DJ, but decided to do so because we wanted to make sure that our ceremony was heard well by all our guests (we had a large wedding) and that there were no sound or technical issues. At the same time, we wanted to work with someone who was very professional, nice, kind, who could read the crowd well and was not constantly on the microphone but let the music set the tone and the atmosphere. Matty delivered on all this and more. Everyone had a wonderful time. Leading up to the wedding, he took the time to learn how to pronounce everyone’s names well, be super throughout in understanding what we wanted in the music, answer all our questions, etc. On our wedding day, even our photographer commented on what a wonderful job Matty did. Groom's Perspective: For me I had three major concerns for the wedding; I wanted great a venue, great food/drinks, and a fantastic DJ. Venue is easy because you can walk in and check it out. Food and drinks are easy because you can taste test them. But how do you know if you're getting a good DJ? A DJ is more than just a human playlist. A DJ has to feel the room and see what the crowd is reacting to, balancing what the bride and groom requested with what is best for the moment. MD Music went above and beyond in every aspect I could have hoped for and the party was a blast.

The Process: My biggest worry was that no one would dance and everyone would just be moping at the sides. My family is particularly stiff and hard to get dancing, my wife’s side (she is a bit younger) had a lot of recent college grads (21 - 23 year olds). So lots of different people to please. My wife and I wanted more of a modern playlist and no classic wedding songs (no cha-cha slide, cotton eye joe, etc). MD Music has different DJ’s for different types of taste in Music; we got DJ Nestor who specialized in this type of genre. We expressed our general taste in music but stressed that we were flexible and wanted Nestor to play whatever he felt was right. He asked us to each create playlists with our general taste in music. My specific tastes vary widely from Bill Withers, to Big Sean, and indie bands like Mutemath.

The Outcome: I wish Nestor recorded the mix he played at the wedding because I would listen to it daily. He seamlessly blended my favorite songs (that weren’t dance songs) with dance rhythms. I couldn’t help but stop for a second in awe and say to my wife “can you believe this?”. Every song that dropped had the crowd cheering. Absolutely perfect. My friends tell me, I had one of the best wedding they’ve ever been to.

Would hire again in a heartbeat.

MD Music is the best!!!

We chose MD Music to be the DJ for our wedding. Matty was our contact from the beginning and our DJ for the day of. His experience, professionalism, and attention to detail was clear from the beginning. When reviewing our music suggestions, he asked all the right questions to better understand our music tastes and to align on how we envisioned certain songs to be played. Matty was incredibly responsive and helpful when answering any questions. He worked hand in hand with our wedding planners to ensure our wedding went perfectly.

On the day of, Matty absolutely knocked it out of the park! He respected our music choices and honored the vibe we were going for. Plus, the way he included additional songs really up-leveled my original music selection. Matty's transitions from song to song were perfect. He managed the room excellently and catered to all different generations on the dance floor. Our guests had a tremendous time and we must thank Matty for that! Stephen got the crowd dancing the whole party!

We were thrilled with Stephen’s DJ-ing for our wedding.

Matty made sure that we met Stephen prior to our wedding, and he was able to ask us detailed questions about the genres of music we wanted, what the order of events would be throughout the day, and if we wanted to play any songs for a shorter duration (such as the mother-son dance for the shy mother of the groom). Matty’s team made it easy for us to pick songs we wanted to play via an app, so when we had an idea throughout the planning process, we were able to just add it. They also were crystal clear about not playing songs on our ‘do-not-play’ list, which was a relief and one less thing to worry about on our wedding day.

We have tastes ranging from 70s/80s rock to modern funk, and Stephen was able to deliver an excellent playlist combining the songs we requested with what he picked out himself. People were dancing pretty much the entire party, from our friends in their 20’s/30’s to our parents and family of all ages. During moments when people were expected to stay at their tables (such as during dinner), Stephen played music choices that were perfect, so we never felt as though we were missing out on a potential dance. We also appreciated that he played entire songs instead of cutting them short, which has been a pet peeve of ours at other weddings!

If you want a DJ who will get the crowd up dancing and having fun, we can’t recommend Stephen enough!

Matty was the most amazing DJ I have ever heard at a wedding. Every aspect of the music was well orchestrated and seamless. We had selected quite a variety of genres - classical prior to the service, jazz during the cocktail hour and dinner, and dancing music once the first dances and speeches were over, and Matty handled it all. His playlist was phenomenal, and each song blended expertly into the next resulting in the dance floor being totally packed the entire time. So many of our guests commented on how much fun they had. He was great in accepting requests and had every single song that was asked for. Don't even consider anyone else. If you want the best DJ around, select MD Music & Entertainment.

Of all of the vendors we hired for our wedding, MD Music was the one in which we had the most confidence!!!! We are so thrilled that we hired MD Music & Entertainment. Matty and Stephen were amazing! We were very specific with the requests we had from our ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception. We love that we were able to use MD Music for our instrumental for our ceremony. It was absolutely beautiful and people are asking us for the names of the musicians to that they can hire them for future events!
We hired a live drummer and saxophone to play along the DJ during the reception and it was UNBELIEVABLE! The sound and beat was incredible!!!

We also hired their photo booth services and we were able to customize every single detail! The lighting we used was so pretty and made the room really stand out.
Matty and Stephen were extremely professional and accommodating. Stephen was on point! He was so helpful and had the dance floor packed all night! Everyone was dancing and having a great time throughout the reception. We were very specific about the way we wanted our introduction to be, and Stephen did a great job!
These guys provided my husband and I with many resources prior to the event so we can plan out the songs we wanted.
They answered any questions we had! Awesome job and cannot thank you enough!!

Thank you so much DJ Matty!! 2020 has been a year, but we finally got to have the Wedding we planned and with our original DJ! From accommodating our new date, to working with us through these unprecedented times, we can honestly say that Matty stepped up to the plate! We didn't get the opportunity to meet in person, other than through Zoom, prior to our Wedding, however the time he took to get to know us, his valuable suggestions, it was all perfect! He made booking a Dj seamless and something I didn't need to follow up on. He was on top of it. It was close to my now parents-in-law 40th wedding anniversary and he offered the idea to have their wedding song and dance dedicated to them. I thought they would love that, and it wasn't something I had thought of! I was so touched by the personalization he was willing to add to our special day!
Day of the wedding he made every detail of it perfect, from the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception! He played all the songs we asked for and added songs from the genre we loved! Our guests had an amazing time! I would recommend Matty to anyone! Thank you again!!

The best dj!

I can’t possibly describe how incredible Matty is! We knew right away through our first phone conversation he was our guy. He’s so helpful not only with music selections but just the pacing and flow of the night in general. He catered perfectly to all the different generations of guests and everyone commented on how amazing he was. He had quite a dance party going on all night long! Wedding day entertainment at its finest!

Our wedding day was May 4th, 2024, so we definitely wanted to embrace the Star Wars nod. On our first zoom call with Matty, he had a Star Wars light on his wall above him. That was our first sign. Talking with Matty was so effortless. We honestly had no idea what the process looked like finding a wedding DJ. Matty answered all of our questions and asked us questions of his own to find out what our vision was. We knew after our call together, Matty was the one for us. He is so knowledgeable about music and timing. We know we love music but we needed an expert to put all of our favorite artists together in a way that made sense.

Matty executed this perfectly. He gives his couples access to an app to add any songs they would like to hear. This made the process so much less stressful. You’re listening to the radio, hear a song, open the app and add it. Amazing. Two weeks before the wedding, we chatted about everything we had entered and the timeline of the wedding day. After that conversation we felt so good. He knew exactly what we wanted and we felt like we were in the best hands.

Our wedding day music went so smoothly. It was soft and subtle when it needed to be and an absolute blast the rest of the night. It felt like our personal playlist shared with our loved ones. Matty is a true expert at what he does and we are so grateful to of had him for our big day.

I could not recommend Matty highly enough. He is based in New York City, but he traveled to our venue in New Jersey for the wedding. He is professional, organized, charming, and talented. He walked us through the planning process, and even pointed out a couple potential snags in our timeline. He customized our favorite songs for entrances, dances, cake-cutting, you name it! He made sure we knew how everything was going on the day-of, kept us on track, and helped guide the quiet moments. He read the crowd and kept the music in tune with the vibe. For our particular wedding, it’s an older, more hipster crowd. There was a lot of cool rock songs for cocktail hour, Mowtown to get the crowd going, classic pop and love songs to get everyone on the dance floor, and the hip hop came out towards the end when Nonna decided to put on sunglasses and vogue.

The only complaint I have about Matty Stuart’s Dj-ing was that literally every song was MY JAM! Sometimes a girl needs a minute to rest! I could barely stay off the dancefloor! I had so much fun at my wedding! Literally everyone danced and sang and had a great time. All Night. Long.

This guy is a guru. You are safe in his hands. One less thing to stress over. And he is worth EVERY PENNY.

Matty was the best DJ I have ever heard. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. He helped to work on my timeline of the wedding and calm me down when I became anxious and excited. He met with me in person twice before the wedding to make sure we were on the same page. He also responded quickly to all emails. I have very specific requests and Matty fulfilled my wishes. My 30 year old friends as well as my grandmother both said Matty was their favorite wedding DJ. He had everyone dancing the whole night. His pricing too was more than reasonable. I would use him again in a heart beat.

Working with Matty was incredibly fun, and unbelievably EASY! He's a really great guy who is truly invested in making his clients' weddings as wonderful as possible.

Though we only booked Matty's DJ services for our wedding reception, he worked with our cocktail hour band and our ceremony site to create an excellent audio set-up with equipment he was able to provide us with. The weather threw us a few last-minute curveballs, but it didn't seem to phase Matty. He was an incredible asset for our entire day.

At our reception, Matty had the right music for every moment, and had everyone dancing, from the toddlers to our grandparents! He also kept our evening on-schedule, was flexible with the last-minute changes, and even (secretly) worked with my husband to coordinate a surprise song from my brother.

Bottom line: Matty is the best. We are incredibly lucky to have had him at our wedding!

Matty was an amazing DJ at our wedding!! He's really friendly and easy to work with, and I felt confident that he understood what we were looking for from our meetings leading up to the wedding. He also provided sound for our ceremony, and was really accommodating -- there was rain in the forecast and the possibility that the ceremony had to be moved under a tent (it was), but I wanted to wait until the last possible minute. The reception music was a perfect mix of our preferences and top hits -- my husband and I still smile and think back to our wedding every time certain songs come on the radio. Highly recommend Matty to DJ any event! Working with Matty was super easy and he shared all of his knowledge about weddings to make sure we had the schedule and cadence we were looking for. He worked with us on the timing of the first dances, speeches and even shared we should do a toast near the end of the night. So glad we did that! -- We asked Matty to create what we called the "Diva mix" which was 30 minutes of music from Divas (Whitney, Mariah, Cher, etc.) and it was such a hit! The night was everything we wanted because the music kept the energy going.

Above and beyond our expectations!

Finding a DJ to play at our "mixed" wedding was a difficult task. My family is Israeli and my husband's family is Bucharian. We also invited lots of our American friends to join us at our wedding as well. We were having trouble finding a DJ who would be able to incorporate all of these very different musical styles, as well as making transitions between styles effortless. From the beginning, Matty assured us that he would make sure that he would include any music we wanted, despite him not having a lot of experience with our music choices. He even was the announcer during our non-traditional ceremony and was one of the biggest reasons the ceremony was one of my favorite parts. Matty went above and beyond our expectations. He made sure to play all of our must-haves and made sure that each transition seemed completely effortless. We had an incredible time and it had a lot to do with how great he was. He brought our wedding day playlist to reality and we truly had an amazing time. I could not have imagined a better DJ for our wedding. Our Wedding has a soundtrack that would be missing without Matty

I cannot stress enough how much my wife and I loved working with Matty for DJ services. Aside from being the most prompt and responsive that we had requested quotes from, Matty was a pleasure to work with from the planning, touch and go leading up to the event, and through the reception. We didn't have a wedding planner to manage vendors, so the clear description, steps and timelines that Matty provided was extremely appreciative during all the other planning, work, and general life stressors we had going on. Speaking with him felt natural, unforced, but also focused to get through necessary milestones. We went into our reception knowing that our friends and family would love to dance, but the flow Matty kept going, it was hard for anyone to stop! The blend between oldies and new age, salsa and slow dances - my wife and I listen to these songs again and they have new meaning and memories to us. We couldn't have hoped for a better track to celebrate our day and better person to work with than Matty.

The Perfect Day

We could not have been more thankful that we chose MD Music for our wedding day! With planning becoming so challenging due to COVID19, my wife and I decided to cancel our large venue wedding and switch to a smaller backyard gathering. Matty was unbelievably accommodating to our changing plans and made what would have been a stressful time easy with his communication and professionalism.

But perhaps most importantly: THE MUSIC WAS AWESOME! Because we had our wedding guests arrive in shifts throughout the day, Matty worked with us to curate a playlist and vibe befitting of the guests and time of day. A little classic rock in the morning, some disco and soul as the evening wore on, and then some modern pop for our close friends. Everyone came up to us to compliment the music throughout the day. Again: we could not have asked for a better DJ!

We live in California and got married in New Jersey. Matty was amazing and so accommodating with our schedules. We communicated over email and Facetime. The survey that we filled out was extremely helpful and a lot of fun to fill out. He took what we gave him and gave us the perfect ceremony and reception music. So easy to work with!

Matty was by far the easiest vendor we worked with. From the first time we spoke with him, we knew we were in good hands. Matty MADE our wedding! He has such a good sense of how to curate the evening - picking alll the right jams for the dance floor but also knowing when you need a slower song to catch your breath. He's also just an all-around wedding expert. He helped us figure out the flow of the whole event and had great ideas to keep our guests happy (he suggested a mini dance party between our first dance and dinner - amazing! Everyone was on the floor and had so much energy, and Matty picked timeless hits that guests of all ages could sing along to.)

Matty was also so easy to work with - always quick to respond and offer up ideas, and super friendly.

We spontaneously added an extra hour at the end of the night because we just weren't ready for the party to stop, and I have to say it was my favorite part of the wedding. All our friends were on the floor dancing, singing, hugging, and he pulled out all the stops for that last hour. We had multiple guests tell us this was their favorite DJ ever.

There's a lot to stress about with wedding planning, but Matty really made things as easy as possible. We couldn't have had a better experience working with him.

DJ Andy was magnificent!

DJ Andy was magnificent! Working and communicating with Andy and Matty was so easy in the months and days leading up to the wedding. Andy was familiar with our venue and had zero issues setting up his equipment in three separate areas of the venue. He was so receptive to our style and requests which made the entire evening absolutely delightful, especially during times we hadn’t thought about/considered like cocktail hour and dinner. The dancing was AMAZING - DJ Andy picked up on our vibe and made for a spectacular night of jumping around the dancefloor like maniacs. We had an amazing time and DJ Andy was central to that. Amazing DJ!!!

Matty is the best!! If you’re reading this, you should go ahead and book him now. There is a reason he’s basically the resident DJ at The Roundhouse in Beacon. He is an amazing DJ, and a genuine and extremely kind guy. He was prompt in answering any questions we had throughout the planning process, and went above and beyond in helping edit our first dance song down prior to our wedding day. He helped the day run seamlessly and checked in from time to time on how we were doing, which was greatly appreciated. We added on the photo booth his company provides and were very happy we did. An attendant assisted guests with putting their photos in the guestbook and signing, and we ended up with a full book we will be able to look back on for years to come. Most importantly, Matty knows how to read the room and keep the dance floor packed - we got so many compliments on the music from all generations. There is a true art to how he brought us from the ceremony music to the last song of the night. We couldn’t recommend him and MD Music more!

Matty Stuart (MD Music) was our DJ for our wedding reception at the Harvard Club of NY on June 22, 2013 and we highly recommend him.

I met with a few different DJs and Matty was the only one that I felt "got" us. He's friendly and laid-back yet very professional. He helped put us at ease during the entire process and provided us with advice and guidance long before the actual event. For example, he helped us with the timing of our reception (what happens when) and our song selection and in general just made the whole process that much easier for us. Plus, he's recently married himself - he knows what you're going through! We also found him to be very accommodating. For example, I had some very specific song requests for cocktail hour which he took care of. In addition, we were really struggling with our song selection for our parent dances. I sheepishly admitted that "You Are My Sunshine" was a song my Dad used to sing to me but that I felt it was too "cheesy" to play as our father/daughter song. He said, "Give me 24 hours, I'll find a version you can dance to". In LESS than 24 hours he sent me 6 or 7 different versions to listen to from jazz to folk to country, none of them were the least bit cheesy! It was PERFECT and something I never would have thought of myself.

He's comfortable on the mic and will do announcements such as grand entrance, cake cutting, etc but he's not gimmicky - he won't yell things out over the mic or try to be a hype man. Instead, he uses his music to get everyone on the dance floor and it's there that he excels. We had such an amazing time at our wedding and had numerous compliments on our choice of dj from young and old alike - which I think is a true testament to how great he is.

While I don't plan on getting married again, I would hire him again in a heartbeat. Hiring him was seriously one of the best decisions we made.

Strong recommendation for MD Music & Entertainment

I would strongly recommend MD Music & Entertainment. My wife and I were fortunate to have DJ Brian as the DJ for our wedding in the Catskills in late October, and we could not have been happier with the experience. From Day One, we found Matty and the MD team to be responsive, professional and easy to work with, especially as we navigated a COVID postponement. The team kept in touch with us during our long planning period, and everyone was very well organized in the leadup to the wedding day. On that day, DJ Brian arrived early and checked in with us frequently to be sure everything was to our liking. He curated a fantastic playlist and was a huge hit for his song selections during our dinner and reception. Brian was friendly, professional and clearly took the time to get a sense of our personalities and preferences. (He even incorporated a musical reference I made during our vows into our reception playlist, which was such a nice touch.) He also served as a great emcee during our toasts/speeches, was great about making announcements throughout the evening, and overall kept things fun and running smoothly. Incredible!

Matty is extremely talented and we were so excited to work with him! He has amazing intuition and listened attentively to our diverse music requests as well as provided great suggestions to enhance the experience. Having a live musician, a saxophone player, accompany Matty was magical. Everyone loved the music and didn’t want to leave the dance floor. Matty is the best wedding DJ ever

Matty is hands down the best wedding DJ my wife or I have ever encountered, and we have been to a lot of weddings. He is so kind and professional, and pleasant to work with. But most importantly, he has a great understanding of music and an equally brilliant ability to read the room/dance floor.

One cool thing Matty offers is an app on which the wedding couple can create playlists of songs they like. We took advantage of this and, in our meeting a few weeks before the wedding, he told us he thought he had a good sense of our vibe. We were a little skeptical because we have very different tastes in music, but he proved us wrong, and put it to good use. The dance floor was packed the entire night, and both of us loved every song he played, even though he played songs we had not included on the app. We had a huge range of ages and backgrounds at our wedding and the majority of our guests were on the dance floor the entire time. We hardly have any pictures from our friends because they were too busy dancing.

The day after the wedding, we received this text from one of our most judgmental friends: "By the way... not sure how you found that DJ but he was amazing! Not a bad song all night." This is generally representative of the comments we received from friends and family alike.

We really cannot recommend DJ Matty enough. He will not disappoint.

Best DJs ever!!!!

MD Music was the perfect choice for our wedding! From our first email with him, Matty was absolutely awesome to work with. He was truly so professional and so helpful, answered every question we had, and was obviously extremely experienced and knowledgeable about his business.

DJ Michael was the DJ the night of our wedding and was also seriously the best! From our call with him before the wedding we were already confident that he had a good handle on our crowd and would do an awesome job, but he genuinely knocked it out of the park. Every single guest I’ve spoken to has said ours was the best wedding they have been to—and any picture of the dance floor from our wedding night would attest to that. From the minute our first dance ended to the end of the night the entire crowd was up, singing, dancing, and having the best time ever. We didn’t give a lot of song suggestions because we wanted to leave room for Michael to feel out our crowd and see where the night went, and we really just could not have asked for better. He also picked the absolute perfect vibe for pre-ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner.

Matty's the best!

JUST. WOW. All of our vendors were great, but Matty really stood out during our whole process. A genuinely nice guy who is talented and amazing at what he does. Came to every meeting very prepared and was able to answer all our questions and some we didn’t even know we had. He has a great network of live musicians and access to modern photo booths with all the fixins’ which really helped simplify our wedding planning. He was so professional and courteous, showing up on the day of and delivering exactly as promised. He worked with us to build out our very detailed playlist, he’s got a decent App to collaborate on, which was pretty easy to use. We REALLY put his DJ skills to the test with our, ahem, eclectic taste in music. Matty said no sweat, and WOW did he find a way to make it all work together seamlessly. Our guests never left the dance floor and he had everyone from grandma to our co-workers out there shaking a tail feather. Lastly, Matty also MC’d our reception. We hate cheesy wedding MC’s that are basically a caricature of themselves… and so does Matty! He brought genuine energy and just the right amount of excitement without overdoing it… just our style! Can’t recommend Matty enough to anyone searching for a DJ that is a pleasure to work with, is an excellent communicator and has it all figured out.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! DJ Matty was incredible to work with from start to finish. Our guests were on the dance floor the ENTIRE night, and Matty would check in with me periodically to ensure I was having a good time. He is responsive, personable, fun, and easy to work with. We first met Matty at my sister's wedding in October 2015. He was professional and kept the guests at her wedding dancing all night! Although he wasn't personally available for our wedding, he recommended DJ Nestor to us. Both Matty and Nestor met with us prior to the wedding and really listened to our wishes as far as music. The online survey was fun to fill out and they truly used our selections. Matty was prompt with his responses and always available either by phone or email during the planning. Nestor was the ultimate professional at our reception, who kept the party going all night! He was sure to check in with us periodically during the reception, and did exactly what we discussed ahead of time. Our guests still talk about our wedding and how great the music was! When we look back at our pictures, we see how much fun everyone had and the lighting they provided was the perfect touch on an already perfect night! Thank you Matty and Nestor!

Perfect DJ for a wedding!

Matty was the perfect DJ for our wedding! If your vibe is millennial club, he will knock it out of the park! Very responsive and quick over email, he sent us a bunch of videos from other weddings at our venue and different vibes that he has created. He was also very helpful in finding other vendors such as a violinist for the ceremony, accordion player for the reception, and a photo booth vendor. He sent us a website to put in music before the wedding and was able to pick up our vibe very quickly. Matty was great about last minute music requests and even seamlessly played some Russian music we wanted while still flowing perfectly for the night. Everyone was on the dance floor literally the entire night - it was perfect!

DJ Matty Stuart was the most memorable part of our wedding this past August at The Roundhouse in Beacon New York. Not only did he have a vast and detailed music selection that we could choose from online on our own time, he also made time for two in person meetings. He has a great knowledge of music and more importantly a great talent for reading a room! Our party never stopped. Our event flowed smoothly the entire night. When we had to make time for speeches and announcements he easily captured the attention of the room, and just as quickly got everyone back on their feet as though the music never stopped. People won't stop talking about how awesome the music was!

Matty from MD Music & Entertainment rocked our wedding! He was on point with everything from start to finish. Super professional and easy to communicate with throughout the planning process. He totally understood our vibe and made sure the music was exactly what we wanted.

On the big day, Matty kept the party going non-stop. Seriously, there wasn't a moment when the dance floor wasn't packed. And those live drummer and saxophone additions during the reception? Incredible. People are still talking about how awesome it was.

Matty offers it all and is a pleasure to work with!

My now-husband and I were so impressed with Matty and his team. In every way, Matty made the musical experience of our wedding day a true reflection of our tastes as a couple. My husband and I have eclectic musical tastes and wanted a wedding celebration that reflected the music we love and not just the current Top 40 (although Matty definitely had access to all of that as well). Our friends, but also our family, family friends, older relatives, etc. all loved the range of musical choices at our wedding and were impressed with both the specific song choices Matty made and how he mixed the playlist. It was very "us," which speaks to Matty’s ability to “get” his couples musically.

Matty was thoughtful and thorough, not to mention incredibly friendly and enthusiastic about working with us. When it came to getting to know us and our tastes as a couple, he had us complete a very thorough questionnaire, spoke with us via phone and email numerous times, and met with us in person. He also collaborated extensively with our wedding planner to make sure we had all of the technical equipment needed for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and to make sure our wedding day timeline all went according to plan. We had no worries leaving these responsibilities in his very capable hands and crossing it off the list of our responsibilities for wedding planning, and we’re so happy we did.

One of the things I most appreciated about Matty was how seamless he made planning the entertainment at our wedding. While Matty himself was our DJ, we wanted live musicians (a string quartet and jazz trio) for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Matty took on all of the responsibility for assembling the live musicians; the group he put together were all extremely talented (he sent us videos of the musicians along the way to make sure we were on board).

To complicate things, my husband and I wanted a specific song that has personal meaning for us for the bridal procession, which was not available as an arrangement for string quartet. Matty didn’t bat an eye about this and quickly got a member of our quartet on board to arrange the piece for strings. It still amazes me that we had a piece of music arranged specifically for us for our wedding – this was incredibly special to us. On top of this, my father is a musician, and Matty arranged for him to sit in with the jazz trio during the cocktail hour, which meant so much to my dad.

We are so grateful to Matty and so impressed with his knowledge of music, talent as a DJ, and his ability to coordinate live music. He honestly can do it all when it comes to planning the entertainment at your wedding. If that only served to make things simpler, that might not be worth it, but you are also getting an extremely talented DJ and extremely talented live musicians handpicked by him. He offers it all.

Matty was amazing to work with! He was friendly, knowledgeable about a wide range of music, and a fantastic partner during both the preparation and on the day of our wedding. Matty so awesome about setting up for the ceremony early so we could do sound checks for our rehearsal. The ceremony itself was literally perfect sound wise which was incredible since the three musicians were all family so we really appreciated his hard work with that.

The flow of the evening was great going between our first dance, the speeches, the Greek dances, and the larger dance sets. The dance floor was packed the whole night which is exactly what we wanted! We loved how he made sure to play some of our favorites but also had a really good mix of classics and popular dance songs. He had great energy throughout the evening! Also, Matty worked with my dad on a special mix for our Father- Daughter dance. I was super surprised and it was a very special moment for me. :)

We can't thank Matty enough for being such an important part of our special day!

June 4th Wedding- “take 3”

Matty and Brian were such a pleasure to work with. They really listen to you and had our guests on the dance floor all night! Goes above and beyond!

Matty was an absolute dream to work with! From the first time we met, he was professional, patient, thoughtful, and so genuine in his efforts to make sure he knew us and understood what we wanted out of the night. He offered tons of great suggestions for the wedding beyond just the music played, but also in terms of the timeline of the night. He was always super responsive to emails and willing to hop on phone calls as needed. We always left conversations with Matty feeling like we were more on track with our plans and with a better idea of how the night would go. He was really open to our requests and tastes, and on the night of our wedding, he truly followed all the details we had discussed, played everything we had asked to hear while also throwing in good ideas of his own. When the timeline of our night got a bit pushed back due to a family health emergency, Matty seamlessly helped us shift the original timeline to make sure our guests didn’t notice what was going on and kept everyone on the dance floor and having a great time. He is a genuinely good, dependable guy with great taste and everyone was raving about how great the music was. We also hired our live ceremony music and a cocktail hour jazz trio through him that guests loved. We cannot recommend him enough!

DJ Matty was absolutely AMAZING! He was incredibly accommodating! We did our initial meeting via Facetime which made things super easy but still got my husband and I to meet him and get a feel for him prior to putting our down payment in. DJ Matty was super flexible. Day of our wedding we had to switch some speeches around and he was quick to adjust quickly. All out guests commented how amazing he was, how great the music and the flow was, and we truly could not have asked for better! We would recommend Matt to anyone in a heartbeat! :-)

Such an amazing experience

Matty was absolutely amazing to work with! He was professional, answered every single question and concern I had, almost immediately, which must be a hard thing to do during wedding season. He was always willing to jump on calls whenever I had a question. He had a bunch of great suggestions and helped us piece together our timeline and what worked at what times throughout our night. I NEVER left the dance floor, he was absolutely amazing and made our wedding perfect! Matty is a genuinely nice guy and it shows that he loves what he does. He helped us when we realized we needed uplighting and it was so nice to not have to worry about hiring someone else. A Perfect DJ and An Amazing Person

Matty was a DREAM to work with! My husband and I were very picky when it came to selecting our DJ. My husband, in particular, is passionate about many different decades and styles of music. We also wanted our guests of every generation to dance and enjoy the music. We did not want an MC and we did not want a club-like feel to our wedding. We stumbled on Matty’s IG where we watched a video of him skillfully mixing 90s songs. We scheduled a zoom meeting with him and once we started chatting we knew we found our DJ. Matty truly customizes his DJ sets to each couple he works with. He had us download an app where we filled out a detailed questionnaire about our wedding and then we were able to link entire spotify playlists and songs we wanted. Two weeks before the wedding we had our final zoom meeting with Matty to finalize everything. I was such a wreck with stress at that point and we were trying to figure out the logistics of how our ceremony keyboardist (our friend) would hook up to his sound system. Matty said exactly what a bride needs to hear: “Don’t worry. I will make it happen.” And he did! He was so awesome at the wedding and so many guests were raving about the music.

Hands down our BEST vendor

Matty is THE MAN. From the moment we had our initial meet and greet with Matty, we absolutely knew we were in good hands. It was an absolute priority to us to make sure our wedding was a PARTY. We both have very broad interests in music, including hip hop, country, alternative rock, EDM, the list goes on. And we had a varying range of age groups at our wedding, including my grandparents, younger cousins, and a ton of friends. Matty listened carefully to what we wanted, was ULTRA organized, so passionate, and genuinely cared about delivering the best service possible on our wedding day. He brought a sax player who accompanied him throughout the night, and this was hands down one of the highlights of my entire wedding day. We had certain vendors along the way who became wishy washy with their communication, but Matty was always our top notch constant. He was communicative, attentive, and so detail oriented. We were extremely impressed from beginning to end of the planning process, and on our wedding day he simply blew us away. He was able to blend everything we told him we liked, into a way that totally made sense, and created the true party atmosphere we wanted. Our dance floor was literally packed from beginning to the end of our reception. Our guests are still contacting us to compliment Matty. My grandfather was on the dance floor all night, and my grandmother keeps telling me that in their entire marriage she has never been able to get him to dance at a wedding. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU MATTY! Hire this man NOW, you will have the night of your life, and so will your guests.

The best time with the best dj

Full disclosure: I’ve known Matty since college, but that just means I can tell you all the glowing reviews reflect who he really is and what can expect when you hire him and his team. Matty not only kept everyone up and dancing at our wedding, but he made sure the the timing of our entire night went smoothly, pivoting when we ended up ahead of schedule. He’s got an encyclopedic knowledge of music and can pull off any vibe with any genre you can name. He’s the best. We can’t recommend him more!

10/10, Matty is the best!

We hired Matty for our wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns and he was absolutely amazing! My wife and I have very different music tastes (80s-2000s pop and electronic) and Matty was able to bridge them together beautifully on our wedding day! He hired musicians to perform at our ceremony that played a beautiful rendition of a song by Odesza and a lesser known John Legend song. The music for cocktail hour was exactly what we wanted and he gave us the playlist, which we love listening to! Finally, for our reception, Matty delivered exactly what we asked for which was a fun dance party that had our guests on their feet throughout the entire night! I don’t think I ever left the dance floor except to cut our wedding cake! In addition to the music, Matty was a great emcee and did a great job of being the host for the night.

I also really enjoyed the planning process with Matty. We used an app to put in the music we wanted for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing and I think Matty did a perfect job of translating our selections there into the playlist for the wedding day. I cannot recommend Matty highly enough and you should not hesitate to choose him to DJ your wedding or any other event!

Best DJ Ever!

Matt was amazing from the moment we booked him to the very end! We loved the music, and he always was keeping the dance floor full and moving! The photo booth was a hit too, HIGHLY recommend that.

He also make sure we didn't forget to do any of what was on our timeline which is hard to remember as a bride, so that was INCREDIBLY helpful. all in all a 10/10!

Great experience with MD Music and Entertainment

MD Music and Entertainment DJ'd our wedding reception at the Box House Hotel in Greenpoint, Brooklyn this past May. Matty was our DJ and he was fantastic. He was incredibly organized and professional as we planned the music and type of reception we wanted to have (read as: huge dance party with a few traditions worked in such as first dances and toasts). Matty was super responsive, personable and helpful as we made our music decisions and gave us a ton of thoughtful suggestions as we created our reception timelines. At the same time he worked with the AV vendor and the wedding venue to make sure everything was in order for our big day, meaning we didn’t have to worry about any of it. On the actual day of the wedding, DJ Matty was awesome. Everything ran on time, the music was excellent and our guests were on the dance floor all night. It was exactly the reception we wanted and we could not be happier with it.

If you've made it to this review, book Matty NOW. Besides Matty being an amazing DJ, he's more than that. He's a wonderful person and will have your back. We met with Matty back in 2019 and after 3 date changes (due to COVID), Matty was able to continue working with us. He helped us with planning our day, and had our back all through our wedding. He went through our day of timeline with us. During our wedding, when it seemed like we were going to cut the cake in front of everyone (which we did not care to do), Matty jumped in to let our planner know that we were off our schedule and activities. We really enjoyed working with Matty and our guests could not stop dancing. He did a great job with our music and was a great MC. We hope to host events in the future and have Matty DJ.

Most guests I’d ever seen on a wedding dance floor ever

Matty really brought our party to life! We wanted newer age, alternative music - less oldies and overplayed songs, and he was perfect for that vibe. He uses a phone ap which was great to organize all our songs for the evening and to include comments, do not play lists, etc. He was just the right amount of an announcer, never overdoing or cheesing anything up. He knows when to fade a song out, how to mix the playlist, and how to read the room. It was the most guests I’d ever seen on a wedding dance floor consistently, everyone said they never experienced such a great music and vibe. Communication during, before, and after the wedding was professional and helpful. So happy to have had him!

The Guardian of the Dance Floor

I had the BEST experience with DJ Matty.
From our first meeting, he was so cool and knowledgable and fun and easy to talk to. He was so completely organized, full of info I would have never thought of. He was completely tried and true.
I loved the database he used to acquire all the information and songs I wanted at the wedding. He made notes and asked questions between our first and second meeting. We used his run down of the day as the BIBLE for the wedding day.
I felt so safe with him DJing our ceremony as well as DJing the reception. And I was right to feel safe and trust him completely. I even told him my family drama so he could be on his toes incase we needed a music switch. He nailed it and played the perfect song at all the perfect times and the transitions were incredibly thou through and amazingly paired. The millennials and the baby boomers alike were all LOVING the music and everyone danced the night away.
I personally (as the bride) felt like I had a friend/guardian angel who was standing at the front of dance floor seeing and running everything all night long. I felt really safe and wanted to have him hang out and drink beers with us. I love him as a person and a DJ and I recommend him always.

Our wedding was during the day on July 14, 2012. Matty was flexible, helpful and layback. My husband and I would love to thank him for all his help. Everything was absolutely amazing! The music was beyond our expectations.

DJ Matty is amazing

DJ Matty is simply amazing. We felt he really listened to what we wanted and was able to blend in regular wedding music with Brazilian songs, since me and my husband are both from Brazil. Our guests were so surprised when those songs started playing! Matty was extremely attentive during the whole process, meeting us in person a couple times and getting back to our emails super quickly. He had a process for learning about what we like and don't like, which means you just have to follow his lead and everything will work out perfectly. We filled out a few questionnaires and talked about our personal style, so that the wedding could feel like us. We ended up with a really fun playlist, including classic rock for dinner - which again surprised our guests! He also added party lights, which really helped create the dance floor mood!

During the wedding, he also handled microphones and played really well with all other vendors, such as the string quartet and the videographers when they needed to plug in to capture the mic sound.

Working with Matty was completely stress-free and during the whole process and wedding day we felt he was in control and ready to adapt. We highly recommend working with him!

Matty still have our guests talking about how much they danced at our wedding

It’s been several months since our wedding and we still have people coming up to us and saying how much they loved the music at our wedding. My husband and I have broad taste in music and Matty did such a great job of weaving together all the music we love, from the old motown hits to the newest top forty. Working with Matty was great, he was always organized and new the right questions to ask, he helped us will all the major song selections and gave us great advice. In addition, he was just a genuinely nice, down to earth, guy. The second we met him it was clear he was perfect for us. Book him now!!

Hire dj matty!

Matty is the best! After attending a wedding where Matty was the DJ we knew we had to book him for ours. Matty made the process a breeze and we loved using the app to input our song choices and suggestions (as well as what not to play!). When we had to postpone our 2020 wedding, Matty was so helpful and kind (even reached out to us to say hello on our original wedding date). In 2021 we had to change our venue and Matty was totally up for the change. On our wedding day he made sure that the music reflected us as a couple AND he kept the dance floor packed all night. So many people told us it was one of the most fun weddings they’ve ever been to. Highly recommend hiring Matty for your event!

We can't thank DJ Matty Stuart enough for being the DJ at our wedding. He was incredibly easy to work with and his philosophy of how to work a party completely aligned with what we wanted. We were referred to Matty by a friend and liked him right away. He was a pleasure to work with - responsive by email, arrived early on the wedding day, and was always professional and friendly. They did a great job DJing our wedding!

We got so many compliments during & after the wedding about the music. We were admittedly a little nervous about hiring a DJ at first because you can’t really test them ahead of time, but I’d hire Nestor again in a heartbeat!

He and Matty (the owner of MD Music & Entertainment) worked with my fiancé and I to make sure they really understood the vibe we were going for and what was important to us. We always felt like they were listening to us and like this was OUR night. They gave us access to an app where we could make song selections for each part of the wedding. This made the process easier and allowed us to have just the right amount of control over the process without it being TOO overwhelming. Picking out those songs was an extremely fun part of wedding planning and great bonding experience for us! We got to hear a lot of songs we were hoping to hear throughout our wedding night and Nestor did a great job with the transitions between songs.

Nestor also did a great job with the audio for the processional, ceremony and speeches too, which was hugely important, since I’ve been to so many weddings where there were audio issues. Nestor kept the audio working great even though our wedding had both an indoor and an outdoor portion and it was a very windy day. No issues with the mics!

Matty D and MD Music & Entertainment are FANTASTIC

Matty D was the DJ for my wedding in early October 2018. I'm writing to enthusiastically offer my highest recommendation for his company's services.

My wife and I were absolutely thrilled with every step of the process, from when we had our initial discussion with Matty (prior to signing a contract), to walking through how we envisioned our big day going over the months leading up to the event, to meeting up with him as the date approached. He was professional and just perfectly on the ball throughout. Every time we communicated, by email, phone or in person, he put us at ease, gave us confidence, and made it clear through his thoughtfulness and enthusiasm that that everything was under control and going to be awesome.

Then the wedding came around, and it WAS awesome. Our friends and our parents' friends were dancing and having a blast all evening. So many of our people came up throughout the night to tell us how much they were enjoying the music and the flow of the party. Even after the event, we heard such good feedback from all of our friends about how perfect the music was. Matty D helped set the tone for an unforgettable event, and my wife and I are so grateful. We had spent so much time and attention planning what we hoped would be the perfect wedding experience, and thanks in large part to Matty's partnership and expertise, it turned out absolutely wonderfully.

We love you matty

MATTY STUART NAILED OUR WEDDING. Matty at MD Music & Entertainment came HIGHLY recommended by our wedding planner Amber at The Roundhouse. She mentioned he was her favorite DJ. We booked him immediately after her glowing review. We met him at our tasting and were SO thrilled that we had already booked him. He immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease, we trusted him instantly. A little while later we filled out an extensive form. I'm very much a music person (my husband could care less) so I was very happy at the level of detail and how professional this process was. Music (for me) can make or break a wedding. I knew he would get this right. To top it all off he then met with us a few weeks before the wedding to go over everything. I was SO impressed with him and every bit of the process. I thought his price was more than fair for the amount of work he did. Very responsive along the way and willing to make the event ours. Very friendly, nice guy. I wish I was getting married again so I could hire him more often! haha. We also decided to add a live saxophone player per his suggestion and it was PERFECT. Everyone at the wedding made a comment about how much they loved that element! Matty is NOT a cheesy MC. He does the perfect amount of speaking. I can't say enough about how great he is. And he knows The Roundhouse well.... like no issues with setting up in the space etc..

Amazing DJs

Matty and DJ Brian gave us everything we could have asked for and more. For context, we found ourselves unexpectedly needing a DJ about a month out from our wedding. In that short space of time, they managed to develop a perfect understanding of what we wanted our music and reception to be. Brian took a pretty disorganized hodgepodge of songs we wanted played from across genres and managed to curate a seamless, energetic, frankly awesome set, not to mention integrating a live sax player we hired. Exactly as promised, they kept the focus on us and our guest while keeping things on track. Their communication was top-notch and they were honest and genuine throughout, which really inspires confidence in the home stretch and gives you one less thing to worry about. Highly, highly recommend.

My wedding was a month ago and my friends and family are still bringing up how AMAZING the music was. It was perfect, and so many different types of people - who don't even like the same music- just all loved it! It really made us and our guests have a truly fantastic time. He understood what we wanted, had a good feeling for when to play which songs/ for how long.. he felt the crowed and made sure everyone was having a good time! He even was great with some last minute requests/changes.

They are really easy to talk to and very responsive. They always have time to talk to you about your preferences and makes sure they understands what you want. I found this company because Matty was the dj for my best friends wedding- I loved it so much I asked for him for my wedding, but he was already booked! So, we used his colleague - Andy - and were still unbelievable impressed! It just couldn't be better.
