Best Decision I Made

I waited until my wedding photos came back to write a review because I knew the pictures would do more justice to the work of Alan at McNamara than my words could ever do. Working with Alan was the absolute best decision I made throughout the entire wedding planning process. He immediately understood my vision, offered suggestions and options that elevated the entire event and executed the plan perfectly (even after covid caused us to pivot from Plan A to Plan B at the very last minute). Alan's attention to detail is outstanding (just look at the bouquet!) and clear passion and talent for creating exquisite floral landscapes made working with him the easiest aspect of my wedding. I cannot recommend McNamara, and specifically Alan, enough!

The best flowers I’ve ever had!

I cannot say enough about this company! My flowers were amazing and something that incorporated the feel of my wedding perfectly! I was so happy with what I received as well as what the girls received as well! It was so beautiful and so worth the money! Alan was truly a godsend and made my event unforgettable!

Kelly at McNamara Fall Creek and Brookschool Rd did a fantastic job on our flowers for our Wedding on Mothers Day. We were happy to find out they were available to do our flowers especially since the wedding was on Mother's Day. She helped us with our colors for all our flowers and provided baskets and stands/columns for us to use and return to them after the wedding. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous and the boutonnieres were just what my now husband wanted. McNamara delivered everything on time and it was beautiful. We could not be happier with the service. Thank you Kelly for everything.

I could not say enough about Rosemarie and McNamara Florist. Rosemarie was so helpful during the initial consultation, she really went above and beyond to make sure she understood the vision I wanted for my wedding. Basically, she took my vision, refined it, and made it a reality. They were so willing to work within the budget without skimping on the quality and overall beauty. Everything turned out beautifully and they coordinated well with my planner the day of the wedding. We received so many compliments on the bouquets and arrangements.

We gave Alan full reign on his design and OMG did he deliver!!!! Canal 337 totally transformed into a breath taking garden of candles and beautiful summer array of color. Color choice and design were outstanding. I have had SO many people tell me that this was the most beautiful wedding that they have every gone to. Even the bride said so herself! Alan at McNamara ROCKS!

McNamera created the floral arrangements for my wedding in August and did an amazing job! Debbie sat down with me and went through the different types of flowers available, worked within my budget, and suggested flowers based on pictures I had saved from the internet. McNamera was very helpful, and easy to get in touch with via email. This summer there was a drought, and we had to make some substitutions with one of the types of flowers I liked; the replacement was beautiful and I'm so happy with the way everything turned out! The flowers for the wedding and reception were perfect! I got numerous compliments from guests and the venue's employees on the beautiful flowers. The arrangements were exactly what I wanted, and McNamera's suggestions made them even more beautiful. I can't say enough about how happy I am with their services and I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

McNamara truly helped make our wedding flower dream come to life. We brought them inspiration pictures for our wedding and they totally took our vision and made it reality. The flowers were gorgeous! The staff was so friendly and prompt for delivery. Our initial vision was way more expensive than we had anticipated, but the woman that we worked with totally helped bring the cost down to suit our budget. We were so incredibly happy with our choice to work with McNamara!

Amazing!!! I used McNamara for my June 2 wedding and I know I wanted gerbera daisies but that is it. Melody from McNamara did an unbelievable job! I was so pleased with everything!!! I highly recommend them! They are priced great and so easy to work with. I probably came in to talk about things 10 times and everytime they talked to me and made sure everything was perfect! I cannot say enough nice things about this store and Melody!

I loved working with Sarah out of the Fishers McNamara! She was so helpful and my flowers for the bouquets and center pieces for the reception turned out better than I even imagined. Everything was so professional, and that was one thing I did not worry about at all the day of the wedding. McNamara has a reputation for being the best but also being pricey, we found they were equivalent price wise to other vendors in the area, sometimes less. I would highly recommend!

Rosemari Herbert of the Greenwood, IN McNamara did a wonderful job with the flowers for the ceremony and centerpieces for the reception. They were breathtaking! She also helped tremendously with queuing up the wedding processional participants. Her work is invaluable.

Our wedding day was absolutely gorgeous and a large part of it was because of the gorgeous flowers the girls carried and the centerpiece arrangements put together by David from McNamara's. We had a hard time parting with these when they died a week later. What a wonderful florist!

McNamara was amazing. I was hesitant on using them, because I know that they can be costly, but once I had my initial meeting, and set a budget in place, I was beyond amazed. My flowers were beautiful, and got numerous compliments. I also stayed within the price range that I wanted and got more than I asked for. I was blown away.

Rosemari at McNamara was Wonderful!!! She takes the time to sit down and figure out exactly what you're expecting for your dream wedding. She will help lead you in the right direction and has excellent suggestions to make sure everything ties in together perfectly. Rosemari was always attentative to my emails and phone calls in a very timely manner!! I knew if I contacted her, I'd hear back from her within 24 hours. The day of the wedding all flowers were delievered on time and looked gorgeous!!! My bridesmaids were so impressed with their bouquets!! All the flowers were just as I had imagined and they were beautiful!!!

I did have one issue with the silk pommander ball for the flower girl. It started to fall apart before the wedding ceremony had even begun. The flowers just weren't secured enough to the foam ball they were placed in. I contacted Rosemari after the wedding and without hesitation she told me she would replace it at no charge. I was very pleased with this as the pommander ball was something special for my flower girl (my step-daughter) and I wanted her to have a special keepsake of the wedding.

I have all positive things to say about McNamara...I think the pommander situation was a fluke accident and it doesn't sound like that was something that has happened before. Regardless, they took care of the situation and everyone is happy!!! I will certainly use them again in the future with all my florist needs!!

David Strohmeyer in the Broadripple McNamara location is phenomenal! I can't imagine a more perfect person to brainstorm and design floral for a wedding. He listened carefully as I described the day I wanted to have and made complimentary suggestions to ideas I had already made up in my own mind. The flowers were exquisite and I would recommend him to ALL my friends. Outstanding. For reference, I used Blue Hydrangea and mini white cala lilies.

McNamara is known for being a little bit more costly than other wedding florists; however, the flowers for our wedding were the most beautiful full healthy colorful flowers i have ever seen. I took in pictures of things I liked from magazines and their designers created exact replicas. We received several compliments because the floral designers were excellent. They were able to get a grasp of what exactly I wanted and help make suggestions as well.

McNamara did a great job with our wedding flowers! I had just some vague ideas of what I wanted and they really helped me flesh out my vision. They were also super accommodating when I wanted to use chemistry glassware for my centerpieces. All the arrangements looked beautiful as did all the bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres!

Beautiful Florals

We had a great experience with McNamara for our wedding. Neither of us has any experience with flowers and had no idea what our options were, so in our first meeting we probably could've used a bit of guidance or example photos.
We had to switch consultants about halfway through due to a health problem, but it was a smooth transition and Julie picked everything up right away.
The flowers were beautiful and the centerpieces were perfect!

They were very professional, and their flowers were beautiful. They were a little more pricey, but they were on time, and everything looked great, so I can't complain. Not to mention that the florists are in a nice location.

McNamara Florist was a great choice for our wedding day! Our wedding colors were sapphire blue, silver, and white. My bouquet was composed of calla lilies, white roses, and stephanotis flowers. They were able to incorporate blue stones into the Stephanotis flowers, which was an original and nice touch. My bridesmaids bouquets were white lilies, and they were much fuller and more beautiful than we expected! The silver was incorporated in the boutonnières, bouquets, and corsages with silver ribbons for wrapping. The delivery was right on time, and the order was fresh and perfect!

Lost my contact and didn't know for weeks. With any vendor, keep communicate going to know you are on track. Flowers were awesome, but losing my contact didn't help ease my stress

I wasn't sure what I wanted exactly and Alan was able to create the most perfect bridal bouquet. I was grateful for his flexibility. I sent him a few pictures of things I liked, and didn't see what he chose for my bouquet until the night before. I was thrilled to say the least. Thank you Alan!

The wedding person was wonderful, he didn't overwhelm me with decisions. We took it slow and in order, not you need flowers for this, this, this, and that. He asked about our budget and move piece to piece. People get flowers that I never even knew. They looked fabulous and were so fresh! Again they did everything thing with decor and flowers, didn't even think about it, untill they handed me my bouquet.

Our flowers were beautiful, but not everything was the way we discussed at our meeting. They used some "replacement" flowers to make the arrangements (e.g. We talked about white roses in the bridesmaids bouquets. Whatever they used were beautiful, but not roses.) It seemed as if we (my husband, mother, and I) did not "know best" as far as they were concerned. But, this could have been brought to our attention during the initial consultation so we wouldn't expect one things and get another.

The flowers were beautiful, but in the end they messed up my order. They didn't deliver my rose petals and I had to send someone to a grocery store to buy roses and pull the petals off. Definitly a stressful thing to go through before the wedding... I would just checkand double check the order the day before and the day of...

I had a nightmare story from the Macnamera in Broadripple. I had worked with two florists for about 8 months in choosing my wedding flowers. I wanted raspberry pink hydrangea to be my main flower. The day of my wedding, I received light pink and green hydrangea, and for my centerpieces, FAKE hydrangea. As you can imagine, I was in panic mode. My wedding coordinator was able to take it back to the store and fix things, and I ended up with beautiful bouquets. When she asked the store what happened their response was "well we ran out of that color hydrangea, so we had to make due". I think it took my wedding coordinator about 3 hours to fully fix everything. The ONLY reason I am giving them a 1/5 vs a 0/5 is because when I called after my wedding, I actually spoke to the CEO, who refunded my entire floral order via check. This was going above and beyond, and I respect the company for admitting the mistake and fixing it. All in all everything worked out, I got 3 bouquets of beautiful roses (even though I do not like roses), and they ended up costing me nothing.

I do not recommend this florist. I asked for all purple and no fuscia, but he placed fuscia orchids all over my wedding cake and on the mothers corsages. I also asked for almost all peonies in my bouquet and one white peony on top of cake, and he did what he wanted instead. It was very disappointing to pay a florist so much money and not end up with what I asked for. He is old school in a bad way.
