The pictures came out excellent. Mr. McBride was very flexible with the start time. He was open arriving early to get family photos. The prices are reasonable. He is dependable. He is a good man. So much better than I could have expected
Wow! The photos Robert took of our wedding made it seem like there were 2-3 photographers present. He truly captured everything! I was very nervous about picking the right photographer for our day because we didn’t do videography. I wanted to make sure we still caught all of the energy and special moments of the day and Robert seriously delivered above and beyond my expectations. He took amazing shots that tell the full story of our day and somehow remained essentially invisible while doing it. He was also SO kind, calm, and genuine. He was also fast to respond to messages and fast with getting our photos to us. Professional, reliable, responsive, and just an awesome guy. We could not have asked for a better photographer! -

While I wish we would have met under more positive circumstances, I am certainly blessed to have not only met Robert, but to have had him capture those last precious moments… Days before, my Dad had told me his biggest regret in life, was not being able to walk me down the aisle. He had recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer and was told he had weeks left to live. Unbeknownst to us at the time, we would only have 28 days from initial diagnosis, to my Dad's passing. What we did know, was that time was running out and we needed to make something happen immediately. I needed photographs of me in my wedding gown with my Dad, and I needed them now. I found McBride Photos online and reached out with my urgent request. Robert responded immediately and was willing and able to make it happen. The weather was terrible and my Dad's strength was diminishing quickly, but Robert was understanding and flexible. He was not only able to take breathtaking photographs, but he captured my Dad's last "good" day. The process was incredibly emotional for our family, but Robert was professional, kind, and patient throughout. That evening, my Dad was asking why nobody had their phones out to take pictures, because he wanted to see them and had not known I had told everyone to keep their phones away. Just then, Robert sent over a couple of images to share with my Dad, knowing that he would not live to see the final results. My Dad lit up looking at the photographs and was so happy to have "walked me down the aisle”, even though he had only been able to take a few steps in his hallway. Because of Robert, I will always be able to look back and see the smile on my Dad’s face when he first saw me in my gown and I will have pictures of my Dad at my side, in my wedding album. Because of Robert, I have photos of my Dad with my brother and I and even family photos with my Dad and his siblings. The pictures Robert took are something my family and I will cherish forever. I am extremely grateful for the beautiful photos and truly blessed to have met Robert. In addition to being an incredible photographer, Robert is genuine, personable, and compassionate. I look forward to sharing the photos with my family on my wedding day. I would absolutely recommend McBride Pictures! -

We have been looking at many photographers for our wedding and as soon as we saw Robert’s portfolio we were sure to choose his services. The quality of the pictures and his refined taste immediately resonated with us. Maybe even more important is how Robert takes the pictures. He has this cheerful engaging attitude that makes anyone want to pose for him. Professional and easygoing, Robert got us quickly through all the different angles and guest combinations so we could promptly return to celebrating this special day. He then became practically invisible getting the job done and in the end delivered a multitude of amazing professional shots of everyone and everything: the guests, the venue, the decorations, and the food. He was able to capture in a flattering light all the amazing moments of everyone just being themselves and celebrating with us. Robert gave us a preview of the pictures shortly after the wedding and then delivered the rest within a few short weeks.

Rob went above and beyond! He captured everything from the moments getting ready before the wedding, first look, the family and wedding party group photos, ceremony, and my personal favorite - all the candid moments of us and our guests celebrating. He was always cognizant of the time (even when we weren't) and any last-minute requests of cousins running together for a photo. He made us feel comfortable and confident. Quality of the final photos was top-notch, and Rob even spent many long hours editing all our photos before his vacation! Highly recommend Rob, he is an excellent photographer and provides amazing service at a great price point. -

Robert was a great photographer for our wedding. He was very accommodating and patient. He helped us work through our long list of photos we wanted to capture and even climbed a ladder to take a giant group photo! As awkward photo people, we felt at ease under his direction for our couples shoot and the results really showed it. He was detail oriented and made sure that everyone was looking their best. We appreciate the work he did at our wedding and all the photos he delivered after and couldn't recommend him more. -

Robert McBride of McBride Pictures is amazing! He was so easy to work with. Very responsive with all of our emails and affordable pricing as well. He showed up to our Wedding venue early and got some amazing Pre-Wedding, Wedding Ceremony, and Reception photos. He also went in and added additional color to the photos which made them even better. He took so many great photos for our special day that we are having trouble narrowing down which ones we want to keep. We love all of them!!! In addition to being a great Photographer; he is very personable, caring, and treated us like we were his own family! What more can you ask for in a Photographer on one of the most special days in your life?
I would highly recommend Robert to anyone needing Professional Photography, and he will be our recommendation for anyone I know getting married or having a special event in the future. We plan to use him again personally in the future for Family photos and other celebrations!

Unbelievably Great Photographer
I'm not the most patient person when it comes to having my picture taken but I must tell you, Robert made the experience actually pretty enjoyable. It was 106 degrees and we were married outdoors with a bunch of kids and grandkids running around. He managed it all like a real professional. And the end result are some of the greatest pictures we could have ever hoped for.
Don't hesitate to put your trust in him. He really is very good. -

The absolute best photographer! He definitely wowed us with our engagement pictures. Then our wedding photos came and absolutely blew us away! His love for capturing beautiful weddings is immediately recognized as soon as you set eyes on his photos. His attention to detail is pristine and untouched. Not one things is left out. Going through these photos brought out each and every wonderful emotion we felt throughout our wedding day and it felt as though we were reliving it. He was so helpful when it came to backgrounds and posing and cake cutting because we clearly had no idea what we were doing. As we finished dinner he approached us with a gorgeous photo of the sunset and asked us to sneak away to get some photos. Let me tell you these ended up being both mine and my husbands absolute favorite photos. He even went as far as using his own lighting for our guests who were trying to get photos with us once it became dark. Our experience with Robert was so amazing it felt as though we were being photographed by a dear friend. -

Amazing!!!!!
Robert was AMAZING!!! He was so organized and ready to go. Most of the time I didn’t even notice he was there taking pictures, yet he got the best absolute pictures. He was always very responsive and informative when I had a question. His photography skills are out of this world. I have gotten so many compliments on our photos. Robert was the best photographer we could have asked for! He is super sweet and down to earth, which lends him to be great with customer service while providing gorgeous pictures of your special day. Robert was super flexible when we had to move our wedding up by 6 months and switched to a week day. He was very kind and understanding as we needed to change packages and venue as well. I was nervous about only getting one photographer, but Robert delivered over 1500 photos during a 5 hour wedding! He stayed a bit extra to make sure and capture my father daughter dance which was scheduled past his leave time. He captured the cutest moments of my husband and I as we read our vows and also got the crowds’ reaction. He picked out some really sweet poses and beautiful locations at our venue to get great pics. Our other vendors complimented us on how much of a pleasure he is to work with, which is great for running a smooth event. Robert truly adores weddings, often reminiscing about his own or speaking fondly of his daughter’s wedding. You can see his passion for photography and love of weddings in our photos. I’m so happy we decided to work with Robert for our big day. He captured the photos we wanted while keeping us on budget. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a kind and talented photographer who will be genuinely happy to be at your special day.

I couldn’t of asked for a better photographer, Robert was very professional and was able to capture my special day in such a beautiful way. Every picture tells a story and I can feel the love and laughter through my photos. Due to the fires we had some smoke in the air but you couldn’t even tell in the photos. Not only were the photos amazing but he go them to me in lightning speed. I got married on September 12th and I already have the photos in all their glory. Only thing I wish is that I had him there for even longer. If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding you have come to the right place Robert is well worth every penny. -

Amazing Photographer
Robert did an amazing job photographing our wedding. He helped us feel comfortable when we aren’t used to be photographed, and we didn’t even notice he was there most of the time. He is also very kind and understanding. Our wedding had to be moved to be downsized due to the COVID-19, and he took the changes in stride. We had some family drama come up during pictures before the ceremony and he kept everything moving while still allowing us to handle the problem and compose ourselves to continue with pictures. On top of all of that, the pictures turned out beautifully and his prices really can’t be beat. With all of the craziness going on in the world right now and all of the changes we had to make to our wedding to keep it safe, it was so nice to not have to worry about whether our photographer would be able to manage the changes. If you want beautiful photos at an affordable price, with a great person to boot, Robert is your guy. My husband and I are so glad we picked him to work with. -

My husband and I truly had the most amazing experience with McBride Pictures. Our wedding day had to be rescheduled and planned on multiple occasions due to the covid-19 pandemic, which meant more stress and planning with vendors. This gentlemen made the tedious and stressful process that much easier. Overall communication during the planning process and the wedding itself was great, he was informative and quick to respond. He truly honors his pricing for the packages and everything included with them. He worked so well with everyone at our wedding, the photos were fun to take but coordinated so they didn't drag on, and they came out more beautiful then I could have imagined. Excellent photos, has an eye for capturing great moments - exceeded expectations!!!!
Robert McBride completely exceeded all of our expectations and some! The pictures came out AWESOME. He did a fantastic job capturing real moments as well as getting the classic photos. We had a residential backyard wedding and McBride hid the eye sores in the landscape well! We gave him little to no direction and he made sure to cover all of the requests we did have. He helped in so many ways to ensure our day went smooth, it is obvious that he cares a lot about his clients and truly enjoys what he does. Right before our ceremony, our microphone battery died and in seconds he lent us his extra battery!! He is patient, helpful, assertive when needed to capture those moments, quick on his feet and just a cool person to have around. He is professional and very experienced in photographing weddings. Best Decision We Made Was To Hire McBride Pictures
If you are looking for a photographer that is professional, easy to work with, won’t break the budget, and will give you photos that you will cherish forever; McBride Pictures is the photographer for you!
My wife and I hired McBride Pictures because we noticed how passionate he was about taking pictures. We were reassured of this decision when Robert ran all over Downtown Sacramento with us for 5 hours for our engagement shoot. Through the whole process of preparation, Robert was extremely easy to work with and communicated very well.
The day of our wedding, we had a few of our guests tell us that they had Robert photograph their weddings and how happy they were with his product. Throughout the night, our guests kept coming up to us to tell us how awesome our photographer was. And we noticed the hard work he was doing, not by the typical wedding poses he had us doing, but by the fact that any time there was an opportunity for a picture Robert was there. Every time we went to hug a guest and thank them for coming, Robert was there. We just got our pictures back a few days ago and he delivered over 2000 photos and we literally have a picture with every single person that attended.

My husband and I loved Robert's work the moment we saw his website. He had the aesthetic we were looking for without the enormous price tag some were trying to put. We valued his professionalism too, as he was very prompt and replied to emails/texts super quickly. The day of the wedding he arrived early and took amazing pictures! My family was so happy that he was flexible and super professional even with 15+ kids to get to look at a camera! He was one of the few vendors I did not have to worry about! First off, I was a bride on a budget and didn’t wanna spend thousands for just pictures, so after shopping around I found Robert. His prices were great and I loved what I saw in his portfolio already. I will say I was a little nervous, because I didn’t hear much from him til maybe a week or so before the wedding. But we got in touch, and after a conversation on the phone I felt super comfortable with him, and had confidence it was going to go well. Robert and his wife were very nice and had cool ideas, yet still valued my opinion in what I wanted my pictures to look like. My experience was great! And my picture were beyond what I expected! Absolutely Incredible!
From the first email I sent Robert to get a quote, he went above and beyond! I live in Utah and was getting married in California. We met for a quick overview about 2 months before my wedding when I was in town. He really wanted to get to know me & what we expected from him. He made a list of my must haves, the things I didn't want, and asked about what the wedding was going to be like so he could prepare some good poses for photos. Robert & his wife photographed together, they got lots of detail photos, worked hard and really put great effort in taking amazing photos. The fact that he was able to photograph my family so quick, was amazing! He followed my list, & was sure to get my most wanted photos. From the sunset photos to the firework photos, to fun dancing photos, I love them all! I have over 1,000 photos my wedding with full rights! I got my photos in under 3 weeks, too! His prices are amazing, and he takes great photos. I would definitely use him again! -

Great experience
From start to finish, we had a great experience working with Robert McBride. I chose to meet with Robert because #1 I liked his photography style, and #2 he was affordable. After meeting with him, I knew Robert truly enjoyed Photography, so we decided to hire him! I sent him a list of photos that I wanted captured, as well as inspiration pictures. He did a good job and we love our pictures! We really appreciate how patient he was during our reception, at times when I felt rushed and flustered, he slowed the moment down and made sure the lighting was good before he moved on to the next picture. You could see him switch between cameras if he wasn't getting the best picture (I don't know if it was the lighting or the lenses). He also sent teaser photos a couple days after the wedding, and got everything back to us in three weeks! You have complete printing rights. Again, our experience was great, and we 100% recommend! -

He was always right on time and ready to go, flexible and willing to work with us even including our dog in our engagement photos. I enjoyed his personality, style of photography and overall was very satisfied with the quality, quantity, and timing of our photos. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a professional and amazing photographer for my wedding and will definitely be referring my friends! -

He makes everything so easy. My husband isn't super comfortable taking photos, but he looks like a natural thanks to Robert! The price is unbeatable, the quality is exceptional, and his responsiveness and turnaround time is outstanding. We received our wedding photos only 10 days after our wedding. Seriously, hire Robert and I promise you won't be disappointed!

He has a very calming presence, which one needs on their wedding day! I was so, so glad that I hired him. His prices are reasonable and I truly cannot say enough about how great he was through the whole process.
Side note: I had the stomach flu the day of our wedding and wasn't really up for taking many pictures (feeling like you're going to pass out with a fever, in a wedding dress, in 100 degree heat can do that to a girl). I powered through as much as I could, and Robert was SO understanding (even when I was not feeling my best and he took the brunt of my mood a couple of times...I'm sorry, Robert). He took as many pictures as I was comfortable with. He even offered to take more couple's pictures with us so that we could get our money's worth, as I had to end our pictures early due to my yucky flu feeling. We definitely recommend him to ANYONE! Also, I forget exactly how much we spent, but it was just under the price I posted. -

He was very helpful from the beginning up to the end. He recommended the best spots to use for our engagement photos and was able to work with us and our furry babies! He didn't mind that we took our parents with us too and followed us around the whole day. He even offered to meet us halfway since we are at least 2 hours away from where he lives and we had furry babies with us but we couldn't make him drive too far on Superbowl Sunday! Yes, he didn't even mind that we picked that day to do our photoshoot! Truly professional. :)
On our wedding day he showed up early to scope down the place and didn't even need an assistant to get all the 'getting ready' shots he needed. He's always so positive and gave us compliments and great pointers when working with us. He also worked very diligently with our 2 videographers even though they have not worked or met with each other before!
We received our photos 3 weeks from our wedding day and we absolutely adore every single one of the images. He made our wedding day so special by capturing all the beautiful memories. Looking at the images makes me want to do the whole thing over again!
If you need an affordable, stress-free experience with THE BEST results, Robert is your guy! You will not regret it. :)

I was able to send him pictures of poses we liked and he made sure we got them done. He was busy taking pictures the entire time he was there. He got so many great candids as well as beautiful pictures of the wedding party. He definitely went above and beyond on our special day and captured everything. We got the proofs back quickly which was great. Very much recommend him!

Then we found Robert who almost seemed to good to be true. His photos were stunning and he was well within our price range. When we had a phone interview to see if he was right for us he continued to impress us. He let us see several complete weddings; instead of just having a few great photos. We were able to see how consistent he is as a photographer. The day of our wedding he was more then accommodating and represented all of our guest beautifully. We were shocked how many angles he had of the same photo, he is a ninja with the camera. We never felt like he was in the way. He also has a great demeanor for working with larger groups in photos and helps us to make adjustments to get the best photo. He captured the little details that we had no other photos of. Our photos were ready in 3 weeks and we were beyond happy with them. They looked natural and not over photo shopped with fake light sources. We were so lucky to find Robert and he is worth every penny plus some! -

He was very concerned about making sure we got everything that we wanted and gave us more than we possibly could have expected for the price. Robert's work is incredible--he does both candid and posed photos and shooting with him felt very natural as he gives great direction and you can really tell that he loves what he does. In addition to photos at our ceremony and reception sites, Robert let us pick out a place in the woods where we wanted to do another shoot. We received almost 2000 photos from him that we can go through whenever we want and print as many times as we want, and I love every single one of them. Robert is extremely professional and the friendliest guy, and he really took into consideration our input--even telling us we could put together a Pinterest board of ideas and a shot list so that he could make sure we got everything that we wanted. Our wedding day was probably the hottest day of the summer, it was over 108 degrees at our ceremony location and no matter how miserable he had to have been wearing all black he did not in any way try to rush us through our photos! We would definitely recommend him to any and everyone around, there is no one better!

Shanna Sent on 09/01/2018My husband and I got married in May 2018 and we are so happy that we used McBride Pictures! The pricing is so reasonable that we wondered if there is a catch. Besides each other, the photos were most important to us. When we met Robert in person, he explained his pricing and it made a lot of sense. He was professional from the start, has good reviews, and has won awards- so we decided to book him. The package includes an engagement session, which helped us get comfortable in front of the camera and get used to Robert. He was always more concerned about us getting good photos than the time. The pics turned out gorgeous! Robert was timely in responding when I had questions and it was easy to come up with the photography schedule for the wedding day. I didn’t know where to begin so he provided an example, then we made adjustments. He was very flexible with whatever we asked, and helpful when we needed ideas. We chose to do a first look and take photos before the ceremony, which made a longer day for Robert… but he never complained. He even agreed to stay an hour longer than planned. The day of the wedding Robert arrived on time and took photos of my dress, the rings, and other details… before taking pictures of me and my girls (and the guys) getting ready. He had lots of good ideas for poses. The first look, photos with the bridal party, etc all went very smooth and we had fun. During the ceremony Robert took a lot of photos but was not distracting. During the reception he was always around for any photos we needed. Robert got our photos back to us within a month, which was fast compared to the 3-4 mos I hear it takes most photographers. And he gave us all of the ones that he took! He gladly did any editing changes. There were some that I thought weren’t as “sharp” as they should be, but Robert did everything he could to make sure that we were completely satisfied. And we are! We will definitely use him again, and you should use him too!

Robert was the perfect photographer for our wedding. He was friendly and really listened to our needs. We wanted a lot of pictures with different groups of friends and he really listened to that need and made it happen. Not only do we love our photos, he also got great photos of all of our guests that we will cherish. Robert's pricing was incredibly affordable and he was great to work with. Robert photographed our wedding on 9/21/19 and I could not ask for a better experience! From his quick response when I initially reached out to his great prices, it was an obvious choice! Leading up to the wedding he was open to answering all my questions in a timely manner and I was able to reach him by phone or email whenever I needed to. He really did make the experience so easy!
When it came to the actual wedding, he was flexible with start time and location and made us feel so comfortable! He had a ton of poses for us to try which was great because this kind of thing can get so awkward and forced sometimes! All the photos came out amazing and would totally recommend him!

We loved having Robert join us for our special day! Having had a Destination wedding, it can be difficult to find and trust remote suppliers but we got to know Robert through emails and Facebook in the lead up to our event which made it feel all the more personal 😃 Robert was super friendly and helpful in the lead up to and during our special day, and it was so nice that he genuinely felt as excited to be in Yosemite as we were!
