Carmen is the best!!!

We cannot say enough great things about our DJ Carmen! From the very beginning, he was incredibly communicative, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. We actually met up with another DJ previously and got terrible vibes from him and were really stressed to make sure we found an awesome DJ… Carmen was just that!! What really stood out was his calm and relaxed demeanor—exactly what you want on a day that can easily feel overwhelming.
Despite the laid-back vibe, he intricately organized behind the scenes. Every detail was handled with care and precision, and he made sure the entire evening flowed seamlessly. Which it absolutely did!! He checked with us before moving onto the next thing to make sure everyone was on the same page, took care of all of the lighting with the venue coordinators, and anything else we needed. One of the highlights with Carmen’s company is the ability to bring out photobooths, 360 camera, and the audio guest book! Everyone loved it!!! I could not have asked for a better enhancement to our evening!!!
One of the things we appreciated most was his respect and sensitivity toward the other family events happening throughout the wedding. We had a death in the family two days before the wedding, and he read the room beautifully, adjusting the energy and music perfectly to match the mood and timing of the night.
If you're looking for someone who brings both professionalism and warmth to your event, this is the DJ for you. We’re so grateful to have had Carmen as part of our day!

Must have DJ!

We hired Carmen and his wife Mandy from MCDJ Company for our wedding, and they exceeded every expectation we had. Carmen was incredible from start to finish. He made sure our entire wedding day flowed seamlessly, beginning with touch base meetings as the big day approached, to the rehearsal, to the entire wedding day from start to finish. He not only guided us through each step with confidence and clarity but even made some last-minute recommendations that truly elevated our layout and transitions. Thanks to him, the ceremony and reception felt effortless and perfectly timed.
When it came time to celebrate, Carmen was phenomenal on the mic and the music. He read the room flawlessly—bringing out nostalgic throwbacks just when the crowd needed a boost, and ramping up to high-energy hits that had everyone on their feet dancing and cheering. He kept the vibe alive all night, and our guests are still talking about how amazing the music was.
Mandy, as our day of coordinator and Carmen’s wife, was equally impressive. Before the wedding, she met with us and offered her day-of coordinating expertise without ever making us feel pressured. On the day itself, she was a calming, reassuring presence for the bride—capturing every detail, lining up the bridal party and parents, and coordinating transitions like a true pro. She even built the most beautiful backdrop and single-handedly set up our tables at the reception hall exactly according to our vision. Every detail was spot-on, and it genuinely felt like she brought our dream to life.
Because of Carmen and Mandy, I was relaxed and fully able to enjoy my wedding day knowing everything was under control. They went above and beyond—more than we ever expected—and treated us like family throughout the entire process.

Best I’ve Ever Had

Full disclosure, Carmen is the only DJ I’ve ever hired for an event. Bad news for others: he set the bar incredibly high. He was super communicative with me and my partner in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding, and the big day went off without a hitch. Aside from putting together a great setlist tailored to our taste, he had such a great presence and really set the perfect tone for the evening. Kind, supportive, professional, super easy to work with, couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Wedding day excellence

Deciding to use Carmen to dj my daughter’s wedding was without a doubt a great choice. He helped us through the orders from start to finish. He made sure to explain everything in great detail so there were no surprises. From the rehearsal dinner to the wedding he thought of everything and we are so grateful for his expertise. If you are looking to hire a dj for your special event look no further as I believe he is the best there is. We hope to use him again in the future because of the wonderful experience we had. Mc dj company was awesome!

Carmen was AWESOME! He was very well prepared for everything, from any odd requests, helping my sister plan a surprise for during the reception, to asking the questions that no one else tells you is something you need to think about when planning a wedding. Because of our venue time restrictions, vendors only had a couple hours right before the ceremony to set up. So Carmen had to get all of the sound and lighting that he used set up and ready for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception, all in different locations of the venue. He got everything set up and ready with time to spare.

We also chose to add the photo booth for our reception. It was such a hit! Everyone loved the props to use when taking pictures. They also put together a photo album that guests could sign with a copy of their photos. It has been so great to look through to see our friends and family having a good time.

For our day of coordinator, we chose to go with Mandy, Carmen’s wife. Mandy helped so much with the setup, again with only a limited amount of time to set up right before the ceremony. We had to put together the arch and gets the drapes to look just right. Mandy filled 3 vases of water with floating candles, for 20 tables. She helped to put together a last minute added backdrop, help with making sure the sound was working everywhere, helped to corral everyone that was walking down the aisle and let them know what they had to do, where they needed to be and when. She helped with so much else before the ceremony! She was also a huge help after the ceremony, because we were only given about 30-45 minutes to get everything out of the venue.

Mandy and Carmen worked so well together and made sure everything ran smoothly at the rehearsal dinner and during the ceremony and reception. I have been recommending them to so many people, and my new sister-in-law has decided to go with MC DJ COMPANY for her wedding next year.

Best DJ!!!

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. From start to finish, he was absolutely incredible — not just with the music, but in how he supported us throughout the entire day. He went above and beyond what we expected: helping coordinate timing, keeping everything flowing smoothly, and even stepping in to assist with little things that weren’t even part of his job.

Well Beyond Our Expectations

He’s the man!!!!!!!!!

Carmen went above and beyond what was expected of him. When our wedding had to be moved indoors due to rain, he completely took charge of the situation—handling things even our wedding coordinator hadn’t considered. He was clear and direct, letting us know exactly what was happening and what was coming next.

He confidently took control of the room when needed (which is exactly what I hoped he would do). The venue was tight and chaotic because of the weather, but Carmen managed the transition flawlessly. He read the room perfectly, kept us on schedule, and thought of details we never would’ve considered ourselves.

And when it came time to party—he had our dance floor jumping! No one wanted to leave. His energy was exactly what we needed, and he kept the vibe going all night long.

Carmen is so much more than just a DJ. I highly recommend him to any bride who’s feeling overwhelmed about finding the right person. I never write reviews, but I know how stressful it was trying to choose a DJ—and I can honestly say, he’s the one.

Best DJ & Day of Coordinator you can find in CLE

We can not recommend Carmen and his wife Mandy enough! We initially hired Carmen for his DJ services and decided to add his wife Mandy as our day of coordinator. This was easily one of the best choices we made. Together as a team they were organized, professional, experienced, and helped to make our day run smoothly. Not only were they able to recommend ideas that had worked well for other couples, they provided formats that helped our day to stay on schedule and plan out all our big moments. They met with us prior to our wedding multiple times , ran through our church and venue, and walked us through every small detail which they had experience and knowledge about. This helped to ease any questions and pre wedding jitters we had. Mandy was able to help make sure our day ran smoothly, was extremely well organized, and was a great contact point between us and our other amazing vendors. While we met them through previous wedding experiences and recalled how great the music was, the combination of both Carmen as our DJ and Mandy as our day of coordinator exceeded our expectations in every way. We look forward to seeing them at events in the future as we know others will want to call upon the dynamic duo that orchestrated our big day.

Incredible DJ!!!

My husband and I highly recommend using MCDJ! We had such an awesome experience with Carmen! He is very organized and made sure our wedding was such a fun event for all who attended. Outdoor August 2023 beautiful wedding

Wow. Our daughter was blessed to have Carmen and Amanda walk with them during the wedding. From the minute they arrived they took over and an immediate calm was felt by the mother, father and bride and groom. Their services got better and better. They helped with the service, with the cocktail hour, with the entrance, with dinner, with the father daughter dance, with the variety of music choices for the crowd, and with the calm way of keeping us on time with the venue to leave on time. Carmen with MC DJ Company was everything we wanted in our DJ and more. He was very professional, amiable, experienced, and flexible, helping our wedding day become everything we dreamed it could be. Carmen helped ensure everything ran smoothly from assisting with planning prior to the event, running the rehearsal the day before, calling tables for food, keeping the dance floor lively, and more. He also brought the party to the reception, bringing a fun photobooth, lights that matched our wedding’s colors, and glow sticks to go with our end of night EDM rave. Carmen did such an awesome job selecting music to keep guests on the floor- we had quite a few people tell us that they stayed way later than planned because they were enjoying the music and we had people we never expected on the dancefloor having a blast! Awesome dj!

I cannot say enough great things about Carmen being our wedding DJ. From our first meeting with him, we knew he had a thorough understanding of all things to consider for a wedding. He is much more than a DJ. From the moment we arrived at our venue until the last person left, Carmen was the master behind it all. He made us feel comfortable with the schedule of events and made the entire day more enjoyable and relaxing. He coordinating the music as people arrived, the ceremony, microphones, cocktail hour, announcements, speeches, and of course a great selection of music that had people dancing the entire night. We also hired Carmen to add extra lighting to our reception tent as well as uplighting to the surrounding trees. These extra details were perfectly executed and made the event greater than we could have ever dared to ask or imagine.

Amazing DJ and so much more!

MC DJ company was outstanding! He went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was the best possible day. We had a couple meetings before the wedding to discuss vision and what all we pictured for the day. He helped us to really organize our thoughts and talk through the ceremony and reception. We had three different spaces that needed music and he had a solution for all of them. He was very flexible, and his music made sure each one of my guests heard a song that they knew and loved. Overall I would 1000% recommended Carmen, he is the best DJ you could hire for your wedding.

We were so beyond pleased to have Carmen as our DJ! He met with us multiple times before the wedding to discuss timelines and was very detail oriented so nothing was missed during the wedding day. So much more than a DJ

Carmen was amazing! Not only did he do an awesome job as a DJ, he helped create a flow and energy to the whole reception. He has the perfect balance of energy and sincerity. Carmen is truly the BEST DJ! He helped us so much in staying organized and prepped for wedding day. He even took an extra hour meeting with me the week of the wedding to make sure everything was good to go, and went to the venue with us a week before the wedding! He’s amazing at making everything go as smooth as possible and really makes sure everyone in the wedding party knows what’s going on. He not only helps make the reception go extremely smooth but also helps with the ceremony as well. He’s great at reading the room and making sure the music matches what’s happening. Great Experience!!

Carmen was awesome! He really did a great job of guiding us through the process. He provided services for both our ceremony and reception and did an amazing job at both. He came to the venues with us and thought about every detail. He was great during the rehearsal and helped everyone stay on the right page - exactly what you need on a day like that. We threw some curveballs at him (like not being able to get into the reception space on time) and he rolled with the punches and even was able to help take away some of that stress. Can’t recommend him enough!

Carmen was the best! Out of all our vendors Carmen exceeded every expectation. Working with him felt like working with an old friend. Carmen really pays attention to all the little details and gets to know the couple. That personal touch is what made him stand out. Even with changes last min (and i mean LAST min) Carmen had our back every step of the way. His personal touch really made our day special. His energy is infectious and had people on the dance floor until the very end. Beyond his DJ skills he helped to create a beautiful look for our space and helped to create a detailed timeline of the night which was incredibly helpful. I could not recommend Carmen enough.

Carmen is seriously the best! He is well organized. professional and easy going! He definitely knows how to get your guests dancing on the dance floor! He plays a wide variety of music. Also, you can even tell him what you don’t want played what your “top play list” is. He helped with my ceremony and I had no idea what I was doing, so that helped me out a ton! Carmen was the perfect DJ for our wedding! We could not have asked for anyone better. Overall Carmen is best in class and helped us every step of the way with detailed planning and suggestions before our special day. Carmen made time to meet with us multiple times and answer all of our questions to make sure we had everything we wanted. With his experience as a DJ, he left no stone left unturned. We knew we were in great hands from the beginning and he did not disappoint the day of! Carmen is very passionate about providing the best experience for you and your guests and truly values getting to know the couple. Carmen also helped us put together a detailed itinerary for our reception and worked seamlessly with all of our vendors, including photographer, videographer and our wedding planner. The entire night went off without a hitch and he kept the energy up for our guests. He stuck to our playlist where we asked him too and did a phenomenal job transitioning between different genres of music by reading the crowd. Professional & Detail Focused MC

Carmen was a DJ for our wedding and we are so glad we decided to work with him. He is highly organized, professional, and flexible depending on what you want for your special day. We felt that we could trust him with all of the MC details - big and small and we could just focus on having a good time. As the bride, one of the things that I really enjoyed about working with Carmen was his attention to detail and creating a step-by-step schedule as well as going over everything as many times as we needed to in order for me to feel good about the process. You can't go wrong with Carmen at MC DJ!

We had chosen Carmen to be the DJ of our wedding originally set in June of 2020 but with covid we had to push the date back to September of 2021 and Carmen stayed with us the whole time. We loved getting to know him personally and he was with us step by step as we had to change the wedding date multiple times. Then when the big day finally came he knocked it out of the park! He did a wonderful job with introductions and then kept right on schedule with all of the other dances and cake cutting events that we had on the itinerary but once we got to the dancing portion of the night he really shined! Nobody went home from that wedding without having sweat a good amount on the dance floor and that is exactly what we were hoping for when we hired Carmen. Can't thank him enough for being there for us on our wedding day and would absolutely recommend him to any couple looking to have a fantastic DJ for their future wedding!

Just amazing

Carmen was absolutely professional, friendly, responsive and so easy to work with. He was not just a DJ but helped coordinate the day and was two steps ahead at all times. Fantastic!

We used Carmen for his DJing skills (ceremony & reception), coordination services, uplifting and a gobo. Carmen was FANTASTIC to work with, easy to get ahold of, super responsive and open to collaborating on things and answering questions to fill in the blank. He came to rehearsal which was so wonderful - everyone knew cues and when to walk based on sound! We got SO MANY COMPLIMENTS on how packed our dance floor was all night - which is all thanks to Carmen reading the room perfectly. 10/10 would recommend, between his skills, personality and fun demeanor you won’t be disappointed!

Above and Beyond!

MC DJ Company is so much more than just a DJ company! We worked with Carmen and his wife Mandy throughout the planning of our wedding. Carmen was hired originally as our DJ and informed me that his wife also could help with day of planning for the wedding- it was a no brainer to go with both of them.

When I say Carmen worked with me every step of the way- I mean it! He accompanied me to the venue to scope out how we should set up the floor plan including the tables, dance floor and DJ booth. We met with Carmen and Mandy several times to go over details for the wedding day itself as well as our rehearsal ceremony and dinner. He had worksheets prepared for me to fill out which greatly helped me in my planning.

Carmen was the DJ at the rehearsal and made for a great party! Everyone kept saying, if this is a preview for the wedding music, then wedding is going to be fantastic, and it was!

We met with Carmen and Mandy the day before the wedding to drop off decorations for the venue. This included all of our center pieces, signs, and candy bar for guests. It was a lot of stuff, but they were so helpful and accommodating and I was so grateful.

Mandy and Carmen both helped at the ceremony to get everyone down the aisle without a hitch and then they both worked their tails off to get to the venue to set up for the reception. It was perfect! Everything was as I envisioned when I walked in and our guests were in awe.

I could not be more grateful for these two wonderful people, they really made our wedding day perfect and so special. There is no way I would have been able to pull of the wedding of our dreams with out MC DJ Company! Thank you so much and I would recommend them to anyone!

Amazing! Much more than just a DJ service.

Where do I even start? My daughter got married last Saturday and Carmen was amazing. He was a consummate professional, but also very personable, and provided so much more than just a great playlist. His communication and understanding of what my daughter and her husband wanted as far as music was spot on. Carmen helped alleviate a lot of the stress we were feeling in the days leading up to the ceremony by making sure everything was just as we had discussed. He attended our rehearsal and made sure everyone was comfortable and understood when and where they were supposed to be for the ceremony. It was a unique outdoor venue and he took extra time to walk the property to determine the best placement for power cords, mics, etc. He had every detail typed out and ready to hand out to everyone so we knew exactly what to expect for the ceremony and reception. The musicians and pastor were clearly heard during the ceremony. For the reception he kept everything moving at a great pace, and kept our guests on the dance floor all night. I can't thank Carmen enough for helping to make the day very special. I feel like we got a lot more in terms of service, quality, and fun than we paid for, which unfortunately is kind of a lost art these days. Keep up the great work, Carmen. Your service, kindness, and helpfulness are very much appreciated. I cannot recommend him highly enough. You won't be disappointed.

The best DJ around!

We absolutely loved working with Carmen from the very beginning! He was very responsive and took time to get to know us and our wedding details from the start. It's clear that he loves what he does. He was so helpful at our rehearsal and took care of everything on our wedding day so we didn't have to worry about anything. He played all of our "must-plays" but his playlist kept our guests dancing all night and couldn't stop commenting on how great our DJ was! We would pick him again as our wedding DJ in a heartbeat. The Class of 2021 from Fairview High School would like to thank MC DJ Company for an amazing evening of music at their prom at Progressive Field.

Carmen meticulously planned prom with the students so that they could choose the music. No one was disappointed and he took requests throughout the evening. A Night to Remember

We literally danced the night away.
The pre-wedding conversations made the music just perfect for the guests we had at the wedding. He tailored the playlist to our family and friends. I will say - don’t look at anyone else - just hire him now.
Carmen also helped with lighting (the reception was in our backyard)
Seriously quit looking at any other DJ’s. If you want your wedding to be fun, inclusive of all generations of family on the dance floor you have found the answer in Carmen’s company.

Best DJ and so much fun

I think without a doubt, the number one vendor-related compliment we received from all of our guests was how amazing Carmen was - everyone just wanted to know how we found him! With all the pandemic-related changes we had to make, we changed our wedding from over 250 guests at a reception hall to less than 50 in my mom's backyard. He was so flexible and very responsive to messages, working to accommodate all the changes we needed. His lighting skills completely transformed our backyard, making it really feel like a party! With it being mostly family, he also was very considerate in song choices to accommodate a wide range of ages and tastes. For any University of Cincinnati alum: Carmen went above and beyond to play the alma mater and down the drive, which was so fun since so many guests are alumni, too. We're excited to welcome Carmen back next year for our anniversary/postponed reception and completely recommend him for any future weddings!

Bringing the Party During COVID-19

Carmen and MC DJ Company, LLC were incredible to work with at a recent wedding in Cincinnati, OH. The bride and groom had to cut their guest list due to COVID-19 compliance and Carmen still brought the energy and excitement and got everyone on the dance floor! His professionalism and ability to serve as Emcee, DJ, lighting director, and sound tech was phenomenal as he helped with various elements of the event. Not your average DJ

Carmen is more than a DJ! He started working with us many months before our wedding to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted, and he delivered more than what could be asked for. My wife and I had a huge wedding party and Carmen kept our rehearsal on track and was able to walk us through everything the day before. Professional and fun!

Carmen is very personable and professional. He was extremely helpful in planning our wedding day. We used his DJ and day-of coordinatior services. He was prompt, respectful, and really pulled off a wedding that felt like ‘us’. He worked with our event center and caterer to plan the timeline of the evening, was very helpful when we needed advice on the day, gave music suggestions when we had no clue, and as promised, there were no awkward pauses in the evening. He kept our wedding ceremony and reception moving and everyone had great things to say about him. Carmen was able to take song requests during the evening which really pleased our guests. Winter Wedding

My wife and I saw Carmen DJ Night to Shine, a prom for people with special needs, at our church. He did a great job and we loved the idea of hiring a fellow Christian. After meeting Carmen, we knew he was the DJ for us. We only had to meet with him twice, and on the last meeting the week of the wedding, we hashed everything out and he was ready. It was nice that Carmen took as much upon himself as he did. It took some of the pressure off of my wife and I on our special day. The actual wedding was great. Carmen helped everything move along. The music was perfect for our crowd. He has a great sense of what the crowd wants. He took our special requests and made them work. I highly recommend Carmen. I won’t be planning another wedding in my life, at least not for me, but if I did, I’d book Carmen again. Thanks!

Great MC and DJ!

Carmen was a great choice for our wedding! His planning packet was super helpful and laid out exactly what songs choices we needed to make and even reminded me of some small reception details that I would have never thought about on my own. He responded to texts and emails very quickly, sometimes even within minutes.
Most importantly though, he kept our dance floor packed all night long! He read the crowd and played the perfect selection of music for our crowd. Our guests all said what a great job he did. He was active in the reception but didn't jump into the crowd and move the focus onto himself.

My husband and I had a very specific vision for how we wanted to start out our reception. Carmen worked with us on making that vision a reality. He gave suggestions when we needed them but in the end, he let us tell him exactly how we wanted our introduction to go and that's what he delivered.
He did a great job, and it seemed like he had fun with our guests and our guests had fun with him! We would definitely choose him again!

All my vendors we worked with were so awesome but Carmen truly was the best out of them all. He went above & beyond when it came to setting up and to the smallest of details. He was a huge help while working with our officiant at our rehearsal dinner on making sure things went smoothly and getting us what we really wanted out of the ceremony. He was able to place mic's where they needed to be during the ceremony and play all of our requested music. He took time out of his days to meet with us, as well as having phone conversations, before the wedding to plan everything out from the start to the end. His lighting design made the hall have an extra touch to the night. He helped us follow a schedule throughout the night to make sure we had time for everything. Everything he did was perfect & made the day flow so well. Truly appreciative & highly recommend.

My husband and I booked Carmen for our wedding, and we absolutely could not be happier with the entire experience! We saw Carmen at a wedding the year before, and he came highly recommended by a friend. We knew from the very beginning that we had made the best decision. Carmen was organized, prepared, professional, fun, and he didn’t try to push us on anything we didn’t want or need. Out of all the DJs we met with, he took the most interest in getting to know the two of us. He sincerely wanted to know the two of us as a couple. He provided us with a detailed form that outlined the entire evening. We were able to request songs and also create a "Do Not Play" list. He also came to our venue with us ahead of time to make sure that he would be prepared on the big day, and met with us again in the weeks leading up to our wedding to firm up every last detail. Carmen got in touch with our photographer, venue, and the event coordinator ahead of time so that they could all work together seamlessly.

When our big day finally arrived, Carmen was more than just a DJ. He really coordinated the entire night for us, and made sure that anything we needed was taken care of immediately. He was flexible and accommodating when we ran slightly behind schedule. He transitioned flawlessly from the outdoor cocktail hour to the indoor reception. Most importantly, in my opinion, Carmen kept the dance floor packed throughout the entire night! He played such a wide variety of music, which is exactly what we wanted. He is an expert at working the crowd to keep the party going. After his job was done and we went to our "afterparty," Carmen stayed and hung out with us until almost 3:00 in the morning!!! Not only did we have an amazing DJ for our wedding, we gained a sincere friend! We received countless compliments from guests on our awesome DJ and all he had done. Simply put, Carmen is amazing and I cannot recommend him enough. You are missing out if you don't book MC DJ Company!

Mc Dj Company did an amazing job at our event. Carmen was so flexible - also doing karaoke for us too! He was interactive with the guest and kept our guest dancing the whole night. He played something from every genre so everyone was happy and there was a lot of variety! The sound was extremely clear and he kept the whole night running smoothly! Carmen was amazing to work with!!! He worked with us the entire way through the process, we had a few last minute song choices for the reception and he was so accommodating. He is extremely professional and made our reception a blast!!! We found out first hand how great he is while attending our friend's wedding in Cincinnati and after interviewing and going off recommdations in Toledo for a DJ, my husband and I found ourselves thinking back of how great Carmen was and how much fun we had at the wedding we attended. Carmen was amazing !!!! I found him on wedding wire and after reading his amazing reviews I suggested him to my daughter ! The first time we met Carmen we knew he was the one for the big day ! Carmen listened to what my daughter wanted for music, helped to plan out all the events for the reception, kept everything running smoothly! Carmen was great to work with and was very helpful with all the questions that we had. He spent a lot of time getting to know us what we wanted on our wedding day. It was very clear that he was dedicated to learning what our vision was so that he could bring it to life. After having the same DJ for several years, we decided to change and called on Carmen with MC DJ Company. What a difference! We hosted 711 participants at our Summer Slam and we got nothing but positive comments! This is one of the largest events we do and he did a fantastic job. You could hear his music from the pool to the golf course and more and he made it so easy for us. He is the best DJ out there and is worth every penny! We are so happy with his service and we will use him as often as possible. He has also been at all of our swim meets this year and our awards banquet. We never worry when Carmen is going to be here, we know the event will go well. I highly recommend this company!

From day one Carmen was an amazing and instrumental component of our special day coming together and being as perfect as it was! He is so professional and SO GOOD at what he does that I literally had no worries leading up to and during the big day. Carmen was excellent at communicating with us and spent a lot of time getting to know us and learn what our vision was for our wedding so that he could bring it to life. Not only did he provide the most amazing sound and music for our ceremony and reception, but he directed our entire day and made sure that everything flowed so smoothly and beautifully! Not only did he single handedly make sure our ceremony and reception went off without a hitch, he was so positive and so much fun to work with! When my daughter told me that she was going to get married one of the things I told here was to call Carmen (MC DJ Company, LLC). Who was Carmen was the reply? I informed to that I had gotten to know Carmen over the last several years through The University of Cincinnati Alumni Association – Cleveland, Ohio Alumni Network. I had seen his Master of Ceremony skills at various events that included alumni, university administration, university staff members, students, and parents. I was also able to see some of his equipment.
My daughter and her future husband live 1300 miles away from us. The wedding was going to be in Cleveland. Several weeks later she found Carmen on the internet. They set up a call. There were several more calls that also included her future husband. On return trips to Cleveland they also met with Carmen in person. Carmen kept in contact with my daughter and future husband throughout the entire process and how they expected the reception to unfold such as introductions, specials dances, play list, special songs, etc. There was communication during the week of the wedding as well. He also worked with the photograph in getting the guests together for some group pictures. He always kept an eye on the dance floor and guests. There was a very special and spontaneous moment involving the grandparents. Carmen came off the stage as the photographer and videographer moved in to capture the moment. His sense of teamwork and timing with the other vendors really helped make the night so special and helped to capture this moment. Guests also commented and his use of lighting as well and how good is was. It was not over powering.
The following day we had breakfast with many of the town guests and we heard very good comments concerning Carmen especially from the bride and groom’s friends. I would definitely recommend Carmen

Carmen was a reliable and extremely high quality MC and DJ for our wedding. Because we were planning the wedding remotely, we wanted to video chat with him, and we had a great first impression. Carmen was an excellent MC and DJ for our wedding on June 3rd. We greatly appreciated his professionalism and organization! We could not have been happier with MC DJ Company. From day one, Carmen worked with us to make sure we could stay within our entertainment budget, and then went above and beyond in every way. Even though we were in a different city, Carmen FaceTimed with us to get to know us, our story, and our vision for our wedding. He was incredibly helpful in creating a timeline for our reception and then ensuring it ran smoothly throughout the night, taking all the pressure off of me and allowing me to just relax and enjoy the reception. He had a great grasp on what our guests were responding to and was able to "keep the party going" with his music choices all evening. Working with Carmen was such a great experience! He is not your typical wedding vendor. He is passionate about his role and even more so about making sure the bride and groom have the best day ever. He is incredibly professional and organized, but also really gets to know you as a couple and makes everything personalized to what you want for your day. He catered to all of our requests and made sure he understood exactly what we wanted and delivered it! For example, we wanted our wedding song to be a combination of a few songs and Carmen sat with us to discuss how we wanted it to sound and he made it happen! He played all the music that we wanted and had a good understanding of the atmosphere we wanted to create. Carmen goes above and beyond what is expected from a DJ and will coordinate with every other vendor involved to make sure it all goes smoothly on the big day. He truly made me feel confident that everything would be taken care of and I never had to worry about a thing that night. The up lighting he provided was GORGEOUS and it really made our venue look phenomenal. He also worked with us to create a custom logo that he projected onto the wall behind our bridal table. It looked amazing. He truly gives you so many options to help make your day extra special. I recommend Carmen as a wedding DJ or a DJ for any event! I'd highly recommend Carmen...we experienced him first at a corporate event. We wanted a DJ for my my wife's birthday party. Carmen was available, we gave him 3 hours of selected music and he came through. We also had a friend sing a favorite song and Carmen found the Karaoke version. For our wedding reception, Carmen was everything we needed and more. He was a great DJ, but also acted as our MC, guiding us through our night using a schedule he helped us to create. He was also a huge part in our decorating, because he brought tons of uplighting to set the mood at our venue. Carmen was absolutely indispensable to us. After we've experienced his service, my husband and I believe that nobody should get married without him!

Carmen helped me plan our wedding by meeting with my husband and I several times to set a timeline for the big day. Not only was he interested in setting up a timeline that would flow, but he assured that it was tailored specifically to OUR liking.

He coordinated by phone and email to assure that he knew the ins and outs of what we pictures our big day to look like, while giving us advice and guidance to assure that it would run smoothly.

Carmen helped us to select ceremony music, and also gave our guests a super cool link for requesting songs to be played at our reception! This was a huge hit with the family.

Most importantly, Carmen was the MC AND the DJ to our wedding reception. Not only did he make all of the announcements, but he printed and distributed timelines to all of our vendors so that everyone was on the same page. He checked in with my husband and I periodically and made sure we knew what we needed to do next! It was so comforting to have him and we would have been a nervous wreck without his guidance.

Once the dance floor opened up, Carmen kept everyone on it! We had so much fun and our guests never stopped dancing.
We would HIGHLY recommend MCDJ company to anyone who is getting married! Outstanding service and a very professional, personable guy.

Carmen was awesome and extremely helpful. He helped us with more than just DJ services and was very knowledgeable about the industry. He also helped us with a sound system for the actual ceremony which was needed for our videographer and because our pastor is very quiet. He was able to accept requests from our guests but also listened to what we wanted above all else. He was extremely kind and always quick to respond to my emails and phone calls. As a bride, he helped calm my nerves about the entire evening beforehand and during. He even convinced our photographers to stay longer to capture special events. Carmen was most professional throughout the evening! He worked well with us, always checking to make sure we were on schedule to accomplish the special moments throughout the evening! Carmen was a fantastic DJ for our wedding and was definitely a huge difference maker in making the night fun and relaxing especially. From the start, he was always very accommodating for any meetings with time and place making sure it was convenient for us to meet. He also was very informative with all that he could offer and various price points for each service. He clearly communicated everything at the start which was huge!!!

But the two biggest reasons I would recommend him were the stress free process of getting him all the details of the reception (he had a very helpful fill in the blank packet that removed a lot of work for my bride and I) and the second reason is he was an awesome MC who kept the dance floor full all night!! He played music until the last possible moment!! Thank you!

Bonus: he provided up lighting for our ceremony and reception and built that in as an added bonus. Very nice touch! Book this guy! He's the best value! Hands down.

Carmen is OUTSTANDING! He provides way more than just DJ services. He coordinated our entire ceremony and lead the rehearsal with our bridal party and all the music.
