We got married at Mayfair Farm on June 10th 2023. When we arrived at Mayfair to check it out, I knew immediately that it was the perfect wedding venue for us. The farm is absolutely stunning yet gives a laid back feeling, there is a beautiful view of Mt Monadnock, and Sarah is exceptional at planning events.
We had 165 people at our wedding. We did the ceremony on the grassy hilltop, dinner in a tent and dancing in the barn. We also had our after party at Mayfair and got the fire going for s'mores. Everything went incredibly smoothly thanks to Sarah and her team, along with the amazing vendors Sarah recommended to us.
We worked with Sarah on a farm-to-table/local menu. We decided to do buffet style, which worked out so well and Sarah, along with our florists, made the buffet style look organic and stunning. Sarah was incredible to work with. She gave us such amazing, thoughtful ideas, which staying so calm throughout the entire process which is so helpful when planning a wedding!!
Mayfair Farm is a very special place and I think anyone that has the opportunity to get married there or host/attend an event is so lucky. The photos really say it all! -

To find a wedding venue that is as picture perfect, serene, elegant, and magnifies the beauty of New Hampshire all in one place is rare, but this is exactly what Mayfair Farm has achieved. My husband and I were lucky enough to have been married at Mayfair Farm in August 2024. From the very beginning, Mayfair Farm spoke volumes to us as not only does the entire venue represent our home state of NH, but their focus on farm-to-table food sold us in a heartbeat. As two foodies, my husband and I could not get over how unique of an experience it was to help curate our wedding menu based off of Sarah and Craig’s farm and to morph our food to fit our own food-loving wants. Sarah and Craig are a wonderful duo and to have been able to work with Sarah and her incredible team was a treat. They provided effortless class and taste throughout our rehearsal dinner and entire wedding day. Sarah and her team are easy to communicate with and provided excellent insight to any questions that arose throughout the wedding planning process. My husband and I cannot speak highly enough of Mayfair Farm! -

Mayfair Farm was the best possible wedding venue that my partner and I could have ever chosen. With my partner’s family spending a large amount of their time in the Monadnock region, we had many chances to visit Mayfair and get to know Sarah. Once we were engaged, we knew it was the best plan to get married there.
From the beginning, Sarah was incredibly helpful and accommodating–even going so far as to invite my partner and I to a farm dinner the summer before our wedding date so that we could get a gauge of the weather and lighting when planning out our wedding day schedule. We felt confident that our vision was being met from the catering provided by Sarah’s team to the local flower vendors who teamed up to help us make an arrangement for the arc we were married under. Sarah was easy to connect with and was incredibly organized, helping us feel confident that our plan would make for the perfect wedding day.
We loved having the Air BnB on site for the wedding weekend–making it easier to navigate the rehearsal dinner, set up before the ceremony, and have our pre-ceremony photos. This was a huge bonus, especially given the situation at other venues in the Monadnock region or closer to Boston. In addition, Sarah and her family were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our wedding weekend stay.
My partner and I would highly recommend that you choose Mayfair as your wedding venue. You will not get the same attention to detail and care that Sarah and her team provide anywhere else. -

Throughout the wedding planning process, we said (a countless amount of times!) how grateful we were to have chosen to get married at Mayfair Farm. Everything was perfect, and far exceeded our expectations and dreams. Communicating with Sarah and her team was easy and thorough, and she thought of a million things that I would've missed. The food was amazing, and our guests loved everything. It was such a wholesome, healthy, fresh, and thoughtful menu and delivery. Though we did not end up needing to use it, it was immensely comforting to have such a seamless rain plan in our back pocket, especially as we waited out a super gloomy 10-day forecast. Luckily, it was 75 and sunny, and we enjoyed panoramic views from the hilltop. I could go on and on and ON about how much we love Mayfair Farm, but to summarize, don't think twice about booking your wedding here. -

Gorgeous location and great, local food
We were blown away by our experience with Mayfair and so were our guests! It's so incredibly welcoming and Sarah was helpful from the start with planning our day. There was a lot of opportunity to make the venue and day uniquely ours but we also didn't feel like we had to start from scratch. Overall the food was amazing, outdoor and indoor spaces are gorgeous and Sarah is so helpful and pleasant to work with. Cannot recommend Mayfair Farm enough! -

We had the absolute best experience with Mayfair Farm from our first tour right through the entire wedding weekend. The farm is so pretty with amazing views, foliage, and flowers. Sarah & her team were there every step of the way to help us plan, answer questions and make sure everything was in place for the big day including back up plans in case of bad weather (which we thankfully didn't need!). We loved that we had the venue for the whole weekend making setup and tear down a breeze as we could drop off & pick up Friday and Sunday. Customizing our wedding menu with Sarah was so fun and gave our day such a great personal touch too. Day of, everything was great. The airbnb & barn loft were perfect getting ready spots, the ceremony site was gorgeous and our guests can't stop talking about how well run and fun the wedding was. Thank you Sarah + team for helping making our day so perfect! -

Perfect weekend
Across the board mayfair was an incredible venue and couldn’t imagine a more perfect day. Sarah was completely transparent from our first conversation then when we visited the venue we saw how special it was on the farm - with the gorgeous new barn, perfect sheep, and intimate hilltop ceremony location with permanent arbor and mount monadnock in the back. Sarah’s team supported us all weekend and we were able to live in the moment and enjoy the property. We also had our rehearsal dinner there so we were able to get everything set up for the wedding and have everyone start to enjoy it rather than so many venues that have you in and out! The wedding was truly was the most special day, we couldn’t have imagined it being any more perfect. Thank you Mayfair for having us and providing a place where people can have an event that reflects who they are! -

The short version – Mayfair is incredible!
We loved Mayfair from the start. The setting is beautiful and the wedding barn is modern, clean, bright and gorgeous – perfect if you love the outdoors but want a dry, clean space for your New England wedding regardless of the day’s weather. Working with Sarah was an absolute delight; she is professional, yet easygoing, communicates clearly and in a timely manner, and makes you feel like your wedding day is as important to her as it is to you. In fact, thanks to picking Mayfair early on, planning our wedding was nearly completely stress free until Covid happened.
The pandemic erupted two months before our big day, and we were devastated. Fortunately, Mayfair was super accommodating and pivoted right with us. We ended up having a super small elopement ceremony on our original wedding date and postponed a larger event with our guests to the following year. For our elopement, Mayfair let us use the ceremony site at no extra cost and provided us with a cake to make the day still special in its own, scaled down way.
Fortunately, our “redo” date was timed perfectly and we were able to have an intimate fully vaccinated wedding celebration that was almost everything we hoped our wedding day would be. And Mayfair delivered! Our guests couldn’t stop marveling at how gorgeous everything was and said that the food and service were exceptional. From prepping the days before to cleaning the day after, we always felt welcome and never rushed. Mayfair truly felt like our own little oasis for the weekend.
We absolutely loved the AirBnB, and the bridal loft is the most dreamy “getting ready” space you could imagine. The wedding barn gets AMAZING light for photos, and provides ample space for dining, dancing, and even your ceremony if needed, regardless of the weather. The grounds were well maintained, and we love the charm that the sheep added to our day (there was a point in time where the sheep were grazing behind our sweetheart table and numerous people felt the need to stop everything and get our photos at that moment because it was so picture perfect). Despite being a working farm, it doesn’t smell like livestock either.
We also LOVED that Mayfair included so much in the wedding package. While Mayfair isn’t cheap, we truly feel that it is a great value. Having our venue and caterer in one simplified logistics a bunch and ended up making it far easier to pivot when Covid happened, as we had fewer vendors to coordinate for a new date, and we didn’t have multiple separate expensive deposits. Mayfair also provided an estimate for rentals and bartending services based on the vendors they work with, so we had a very good idea of general hosting costs with our initial estimate they gave us, but we still had a lot of freedom to choose the vendors we wanted to realize our wedding vision. We planned our own wedding without the help of a wedding planner or day of coordinator, and it all went well thanks in large part to having fewer pieces to line up and such professional vendors on board.
We wanted a wedding that reflected our values and shared the place we call home with the people we love – and Mayfair was the perfect venue to do just that. From the farm-to-table menu that highlighted delicious, in season, local, organic food to the contemporary building and décor to the beautiful landscape that was quintessentially New England, complete with a view of our beloved Mount Monadnock, Mayfair was everything we wanted it to be. We knew our wedding would be one of our biggest single-day investments in our lives, so we wanted to invest our money into our community and give to people and businesses we believe in. For us, Mayfair Farm was the perfect choice. -

There are not enough words to describe the magic, perfection, and gratitude that took place at Mayfair Farm. Sarah, her family, and all the staff went above and beyond to make it an absolutely perfect weekend. The venue itself is a dream: the hilltop mountain views, the stunning modern barn, the cozy cottage, and everything in between, I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate my love. Not to mention the fact that we had to push out our wedding a year due to COVID and she was the most flexible and understanding.
Let's not forget about the food - everything, and I mean EVERYTHING was to die for. And whether you have a wedding or not - you must get a cake because Sarah gave us the best carrot cake I have ever eaten. (also the brownies!!!)
I cannot say enough positive things about Mayfair, only that I look forward to attending summer farm dinners and hopefully being a part of another wedding here one day. -

A Perfect NH Wedding
We will never be able to truly express how grateful my husband and I, and our families, are that we were able to celebrate our wedding at Mayfair Farm. With a hilltop ceremony site overlooking Mount Monadnock, sheep meadows, and elegant white event barn, Mayfair Farm is truly a magical location. The AirBnB cottage at the farm is lovely and became our home away from home for the long weekend. It was especially nice to be able to relax next to the fireplace on those crisp October evenings. We hosted our rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, and after wedding brunch at Mayfair and Sarah created unique and beyond delicious seasonal, locally grown menus for each. But what makes Mayfair Farm truly special is Sarah, her family, and the incredible staff. Sarah brought warmth, kindness, care, and creative ideas to every step of the planning process. Our entire experience was truly wonderful — from the moment we first met Sarah through the end of the wedding weekend — and we wholeheartedly recommend Mayfair Farm to couples who are looking for the perfect location for an intimate New Hampshire wedding. -

A True Class Act
The entire team at Mayfair Farm is incredible! From first point of contact until the very end we felt heard, cared for, and had ZERO worry about the ceremony, food, festivities and guest experience. They made everything so easy. The farm and venue are gorgeous (personal AirBnB on site a PLUS!), food was world class, and photo opportunities couldn't have been better. Sarah and Craig run a class act. Don't wait to book this place! -

Our wedding was a dream come true!
My wedding was in May at Mayfair Farm and the entire process—from early planning to the actual event—was everything I dreamed of and more! Sarah (the owner) was an absolute delight to work with. I was attracted to the venue because Mayfair has an outdoor ceremony space with a view of Mt. Monadnock, an indoor reception space (a beautiful new barn!), catering on site (Sarah is amazing at what she does), and a beautiful airBnB to stay at during the weekend of the wedding. There are so many wonderful things I could say...
Sarah gave me a very reasonable quote early in the process and stuck to it. She even included anticipated costs for rentals. Come wedding weekend, there were no surprises. We even fell slightly under the original estimate. I did extensive research on venues before we decided and I really felt like Sarah put the most time into giving me a thorough quote. She’s hands-on through the whole process, which was really helpful because I didn’t have a wedding planner and I haven’t planned a wedding before… she knew the right questions to ask and thought of things I did not.
The barn provides a great guest experience. We had dinner in the barn, the DJ and dance floor on the porch, and we used the fire pit once it was dark. Because the barn doors are so large and open, there is great flow between the three areas. Even if you weren’t on the dance floor, you felt like part of the action. Multiple guests commented on how amazing the venue was. Additionally, the barn is so beautiful, I did not have to do any extra decorations. Flowers and table runners were all that I needed.
The food was out of this world. Sarah puts together great menu options using her expertise and your tastebuds. The end result was food that we loved. We opted to go with a buffet with a few options and many guests raved to me about the food (and they still are telling me how great it was). The waitstaff was also so kind and saved my husband and I plates of appetizers to make sure we got to enjoy everything once photos were finished. Sarah’s dessert options were also great. We opted to go with cake at the rehearsal dinner (so good!) and a variety of sweet treats on the big day.
We also had the rehearsal dinner at Mayfair. It made life easier to have everything there, rather than plan a rehearsal dinner elsewhere. Sarah also catered lunch for the wedding party on Saturday before the wedding, which was much less stressful than figuring out other arrangements.
The airBnB on site is lovely and was perfect for our needs. My husband and I stayed there one night (the fireplace is so romantic!) and the bridesmaids and I stayed there on Friday night. The girls and I opted to get ready there on Saturday because it was so comfortable. (The groomsmen got ready in a really cool loft space in the barn.)
Sarah has great recommendations for local vendors for the other things you need: bar services, photographer, hair dresser, hotel, buses, etc. I was also drawn to the fact that you can bring your own alcohol into the venue. This idea is nice because you can sell back unopened bottles to NH liquor stores.
Long story short, my husband and I were incredibly happy with our wedding weekend. We can’t speak highly enough of Mayfair and Sarah and her team. If we were to turn back time, we would choose Mayfair again. It was such a beautiful and memorable weekend! -

My husband (!!!) and I love Mayfair Farm. Sarah and her team are amazing. Everything about this venue is more than we could have wanted. We loved that we could stay at the Airbnb right on the property and the food at the rehearsal and reception were amazing! Sarah is very responsive and wanted to make sure that we were enjoying ourselves every step of the way. At the same time, the venue was very laid back and relaxing. We honestly cannot say enough good things about the entire experience. We hope to go back and stay on the farm again some day! I highly recommend this venue for any couple looking for an all-inclusive experience on a beautiful farm. -

Mayfair Farm is exceptional! Their food is booming with flavor, and gorgeous to look at. We chose Mayfair to really class up our wedding. The presentation of everything was an art in itself and superior to any other caterer we had researched in the area. I wanted to support them because they are farm to table and work with what foods are most in season. These factors really brought a sense of elegance to our wedding. Sarah, her husband and staff are an amazing team to work with. They are kind, creative, and all around great people to plan alongside with. You will not be disappointed! -

Jillian Sent on 09/17/2018My wedding at Mayfair Farm was an absolute dream. We got married on August 18, 2018 and everyone who came to our wedding said that it was honestly the most beautiful wedding they've ever been to. Firstly the owners of this farm, Sarah and Craig are two of the kindest, hardworking, and accommodating people. Their original barn burnt down so I was at first skeptical of booking a venue without having seen where the reception would be. But when I met Sarah, I loved her. She told me her vision for the new barn and I was sold. The farm is located in the cutest town ever, Harrisville. The drive to this venue is gorgeous. You pass through Dublin, the Harrisville pond, and then down a woodsy road you'll see the sign for Mayfair. If your dream wedding is a little mix of forest and mountain vibes, then this is the place for you. It has the cutest little general store where you can buy gifts like handmade soaps, snacks, candles, etc. There is an airbnb house on the property that you can stay in during your wedding weekend which makes everything so seamless. Unfortunately, it rained the night before our wedding so we didn't get to use the beautiful ceremony site up on the hill. The site was honestly what sold me immediately on this venue. Up there, you are surrounded by GREEN. I mean like 360 degree view of the most beautiful greenery. Behind the arbor you can see Mount Monadnock in the distance. It's absolutely breathtaking. Reception and dinner is in the barn. This isn't your typical barn though. It's all white inside, with concrete flooring, and the most gorgeous silo wall. It looks similar to Lombardi House in Los Angeles. She has beautiful farm tables for dinner. The outside concrete patio is covered, and that is actually where we had to have our ceremony. It faces out to a field of green and wildflowers. Everywhere you turn is a moody and dreamy landscape. I highly recommend this venue; you will not be disappointed. (also she can accommodate vegan and GF menus/cakes!)

Sarah and Craig have created a beautiful property together that promotes fresh, DELICIOUS, farm-to-table food, raised and made in all the right ways! Sarah couldn't be a more perfect wedding host. And with an adorable smile on her face, she somehow deals with the most stressful parts of planning a wedding and puts together the most gorgeous, memorable event you and your guests have ever been to (even if it's unexpectedly pouring cats and dogs). Thank you for everything Mayfair staff!!!

She took the time to get to know us and asked questions about our guests to understand what kind of menu we were after. She also helped us determine what type of food would work best given our venue setting (outdoors with limited options for chilling/heating food). The end result was amazing-- people still talk about how phenomenal our food was! Beyond her abilities as a caterer, Sarah was so helpful in the event planning process. She had catered at our venue before and was super knowledgeable about the spot. She gave me guidance on numerous things unrelated to the food-- just because she wanted to make sure our day was as great as possible. Again, I can't recommend Mayfair Farm highly enough!

Her menu ideas were creative and delicious. When we needed to adapt our original menu selections she eagerly provided additional menu suggestions. She's very committed to serving local foods and everything was cooked perfectly. So many guests said they thought the food was "A+". Sarah's serving team was professional, courteous and fun. Sarah was also instrumental in keeping an eye on many important logistical details such as all the rental items and helping to coordinate with our bartender. She was always there when I needed her for questions via email or a quick call and on a couple site visits. This planning, her fabulous food and happy service team made for a perfect reception! -

We had our wedding at Mayfair in late September, and it was overall an amazing experience.
We chose to have Mayfair do the catering (so many compliments on the food and super accommodating for any guest allergies and restrictions) as well, so we had the benefit of Sarah’s help throughout the planning process. She was extremely patient with all my stress questions and planning paralysis. Between having full access to the property for several days, and the setup assistance of her team/family, my stress level pretty much dropped off a cliff once we got there, there was so little left to worry about. I had pretty detailed table setup instructions but fairly loose everywhere else and it was beautiful! Overall, Sarah was so accessible throughout the weekend and always very sweet and helpful.
We had the rehearsal dinner on the property (with outside catering) and a welcome bonfire, which was amazing and relaxed. We ended up being very glad for the chance to use the bonfire pit and have guests see the farm on Friday, since it rained the day of the wedding.
The AirBnB on the property was great, simple and comfortable, and I would honestly love to come back and stay sometime. It was super convenient if you’re doing setup and great to just walk back there after the reception.
Overall, I can’t say enough good things. There were a few minor hiccups with communication early on (I recommend email over phone, especially initially) but it was completely worth it for the flexibility, experience, and attentiveness we received at Mayfair, along with just how beautiful everything turned out. -
