I hired maxwell because they were familiar with my venue and had a style that matched mine. However, after working with them, I can say that they are professional, wonderful, talented, and just an amazing team. They are everything you want in photographers, easy to work with, great with direction, and fun. I would 100% recommend them. -

My husband and I got married May 24, and we could not be happier with the service and quality of our photographers!! They have such a great artistic eye and made us feel comfortable as we were being photographed. We have gotten so many compliments on our photos!! Due to covid, we had to cancel our in person wedding and Wira and Joy were very accommodating. They worked with us so to do a photo session for our zoom service! -

Fantastic Photo Duo
Wira and Joy are such a fabulous team! We were thrilled to have them be our wedding photographers. They captures tender moments, as well as special, hilarious, and all around beautiful parts of our day. Beautiful, Unique and Creative Photos with the BEST Team!
Wira and Joy of Maxwell Studios were an absolute dream to work with! They captured our day so beautifully, but more importantly, they captured us a couple perfectly. Our pictures are so custom to who WE are as a couple and to the overall vibe and style of our wedding, which is hard to find in photographers. Their creative eye and unique style sets them a part from the rest and makes them a top notch team! Wira also took our engagement photos and i was blown away that he was able to capture our chemistry after only meeting us one time. I could not have asked for a better or more positive experience! Working with Maxwell Studios is a 12/10 experience for beautiful photos that stand out from the rest. These are photos we will cherish forever, and I am beyond thankful! Wira and Joy are warm and loving people who truly care about their clients, which is so refreshing and hard find. I found Maxwell Photography on WeddingWire and I’m beyond happy that I chose them as our wedding photographers. Wira & Joy were such a pleasure to work with. When I met with them they were so nice and professional. They have a very calming presence which was refreshing because wedding planning isn’t always easy.
I selected a package that included our engagement shoot, and I fell in love with the photos they took. Wira has a great eye, and helped us throughout the shoot with poses and ideas. He even got some great shots of our daughter laughing that cake out adorable! Everyone complemented our pictures, and it made me that much more excited for the big day!!
The day of the wedding they were perfect!!! Wira & Joy seized every opportunity to capture shots of the bridal party, family, and detail shots. They did a great job of covering every angle throughout the ceremony. They even arrived to the venue early to scout for great backdrops. They were very flexible with timing as our even had ran later than expected. The turn around time to receive our images after the wedding took about 3 weeks and they were worth the wait!! Looking through them it’s as if I’m going through the day all over again.
I HIGHLY recommend them for all events!!! -

Karen Sent on 09/11/2018I cannot say enough wonderful things about Maxwellstudios Photography (Wira & Joy)! From our first meeting, my husband and I knew that we wanted to book with them. We met with Wira and immediately felt at ease with him. His kindness reeks through and his portfolio was amazing. As soon as we got in the car to drive home from our initial meeting, we knew we wanted to have him do our photos. Our engagement session was so much fun and Wira took his time and had great ideas for cool photo opportunities. When we got them back, we were over the moon with happiness over them. They were insanely beautiful! We were planning to get married across the country so we weren't sure if we would be able to have them for our wedding. However, after getting our engagement pictures back and knowing what it was like working with him, we knew we wouldn't be happy if we hired someone else. He was so incredibly flexible and patient with us because we changed our venue and dates quite a few times before finally deciding to get married on the east coast. During our wedding day, Wira & Joy captured so many beautiful moments. We got our pictures back in a beautiful wood box- it was so delicately packaged. It was so lovely to receive so many cherished memories in such a nice way. I can't even describe how much I love our wedding pictures. I always cry looking back on them because they were able to capture so many raw and candid moments, especially the emotional ones, and I'm just so grateful that they were willing to make the trek all the way to the east coast for our wedding. I've recommended him to other friends getting married because they are simply the best. If you're on the fence about booking them, just DO IT. You will not regret it. Your pictures will be stunning and amazing, and unique to you!! Thank you for EVERYTHING Wira & Joy!!! -

User902157 Sent on 03/04/2013Where do I begin?! Wira, of Maxwell, is one of the most amazing photographers I've had the pleasure of knowing. He is professional, affordable, and soo very talented! He has amazing photo packages for engagement, wedding, etc... Priced so very affordable nearly anyone on any budget can afford him! I recommend you sign on with him for your engagement sesh, but come prepared... make sure you know exactly the type of pix you are looking for. He can and WILL duplicate any ideas, but you must be prepared if you know what you want.
Look at his work ... it really does speak for itself! Wish I could have had him for our Honeymoon in Kauai! Anyhow, I STRONGLY recommend using him.... I shopped so much for the right photographer.. remember.. just because you aren't spending 4-5k on your phtographer doesn't mean he isn't good! Wira is proof of that! -

His creative and artistic ability is what sets him apart from other photographers. From the moment we contacted him he was very informative and his easy going personality made him great to work with. We live in Texas and even with his travel expenses he still cost less than most good photographers in the area. Peggy Sent on 07/07/2010I researched far and wide for a professional photographer who has his/her own style and can capture the soul of people instead of just the appearance of them (and within our budget :p), and thank God we found Wira! When I saw the photos posted on project wedding, we were so impressed on how good he captured the beauty of Asians (which is a 'rare find' in the US in my opinion), so we contacted Wira right away. He responded very quickly for every email, and enthusiastically!!! I have a couple of images and styles in mind and discussed with him, he's always supportive and wanted to experiment with our ideas (and we did try quite a lot of things on our wedding day :D)
Wira was really nice to travel to Arizona without extra charge :D The day before our wedding, we met at the church and reception to let him know more about the environment, and on our big day, he was able to blend in with our friends and family very well. :D He's sooooo nice so everyone's relaxed having him shooting around. He was like one of our friends. :D He's always very cheerful and enthusiastic. He always had fun and amazing ideas on how to pose and, as my hubby was in his army uniform and we had our reception in a shabby chic cottage, Wira came up with a post-war story-telling photo series that I love sooooooooo much! :D
And when we received the first few previews from Wira a month later, my hubby and I were sooooooo happy with the results!! Just like what we expected!!!! The nostalgic feeling, the sentimental elements, the details...we were kind of speechless! My hubby kept looking at the pictures and started using them as wallpaper for the computer, for his phone....:p and kept telling me how beautiful I am, hehehe~
Plus, after I posted our wedding pics on Facebook, there were so many great comments and feedback from my friends about my wedding photographer!! Almost every one told me your photographer was really great!!! I'm sooo really happy to hear that :D
