Maverick succeeded all expectations!

Maverick Catering was nothing but great to work with from planning to wedding day! I worked closely with Jennifer and Kelli - they were always professional, helpful, and paid attention to every detail. They responded to my emails quickly and effectively. Chef Zeke gave recommendations to us when we wavered with our food choices and was super friendly at our tasting & wedding too!

On our wedding day, Maverick showed up on time and quickly got to work setting up and preparing for the dinner. All the catering staff on site were focused and hard-working but also always pleasant. It was important to us that the catering staff were professional and experienced - Maverick employees knew their stuff!

The food was... INCREDIBLE! It's been over a month since our wedding day and friends and family are still talking about the food. We've heard multiple times that it was the best food they've ever had. The beef tenderloin & rosemary chicken were cooked to perfection and had amazing flavors. The garlic mashed potatoes were insanely delicious. Seriously everything hit the mark!

I can't recommend Maverick enough. You will not be disappointed!

Delicious Food & Quality Service

As soon as we got to taste Maverick's food, we knew we had made the right choice for our wedding. The helped us navigate their expansive menu and pointed out popular dishes that fit our tastes and dietary restrictions. They even offered to prepare a few single-servings of a vegetarian dish to cater to our friends and family that don't eat meat. Everything they cooked was delicious!

Leading up to the wedding, they worked with us to make sure everything was in order and nothing was forgotten. At the wedding, the serving staff and bartender were friendly and professional. They even helped serve our desserts that we got through a different vendor. At the end of the night, they cleaned up after themselves and left us some delectable leftovers. Truly a top-tier caterer!

Perfect in every way

Maverick catered our wedding and they were perfect. Everyone, and I mean everyone, raved about the food. One guest described the pork belly as "transcendent". Maverick cooked all the food on-site so it was fresh. Their mobile kitchen was quiet and discrete. They had a live chef action station. They set up and cleaned everything. Exceptional, memorable service. You should absolutely hire Maverick for your wedding or any other food event. Amazing!

Top Notch!!

We had a backyard wedding reception back in May. They can be stressful. As soon as the Maverick team showed up, our stress level was gone. They handled everything. Everything was beautiful. They handled all of the details, the food was wonderful, the drinks were great, the service was wonderful, and everyone had a wonderful time. People are still telling me how nice everything was. They are real professionals and really elevated our event.

Could not have asked for a better caterer

Best wedding ever!

Maverick catering went above and beyond for our big day! They kept in contact throughout the whole process and made sure our questions were answered. Their food is also THE BEST wedding food I’ve ever had. The quality is very high!!! I would highly recommend them for your wedding day!

Sno-Valley Auction Success!

Maverick Catering did a wonderful job at our Gala & Auction. This was our first off-site event in 3 years and they thought of all of the details that we had forgotten. The food was delicious and they were really flexible when we had last minute seating/ layout changes. Overall a great experience!

Absolutely amazing!

Highly recommend! 12/10 stars! This vendor had the most unreal food! People were still talking about it days later! They truly care about your experience and making it everything you want. A+ Catering & Hospitality

Maverick Catering went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special. After our initial proposal and conversation with their head Chef and Catering Director, I knew we would be in great hands.
The food was wonderful, they had so many options, and we were able to customize and accommodate the needed dietary restrictions for our guests. All of our guests are still raving about the food & keep saying how much they enjoyed everything.
With full service catering, we were so grateful that they took care of all additional aspects including bartending, linens, glassware, bussing, etc. We didn't have to worry about a thing.

Excellent food and service

I’ve had food from here before and like the first time it was delicious. Days after my event people were telling me how good it was. The staff go above and beyond too. Communication was great and every one of them was so friendly.

Delicious food!

Maverick was a great choice for our wedding's catering and bartending! They were professional, answered all of our questions during the process, and paid special attention to my husband and I to ensure we were getting to enjoy our food and drinks. One thing I really appreciated was that they boxed up any leftovers for us so that we were able to take food home. I also had several guests rave about the food we served, which was delicious. I would definitely recommend Maverick!

The absolute best!

Our guests raved about the food and the staff were super friendly and wonderful to work with! Maverick has their own mobile kitchen meaning that the food was freshly cooked, not sitting in warmers all day. Somehow the food the prepared for 250 guests was just as good as our tasting for 2! We were also able to drop off our drinks with Maverick a couple days before and they chilled them in their refrigerator and brought them to the reception which was so helpful. I would absolutely recommend Maverick Catering for any event.

Well done, very happy with our wedding reception

I have so many good things to say about Maverick catering! They were on time, professional, personable, and the food was amazing. Every staff member knew my name and was so nice. My wedding guests loved the food. Leading up the the event they were so responsive and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them!

Awesome, delicious and professional!

We've used Maverick Catering for several of our events and found them to be very easy to work with. They have a vast repertoire of appetizers and delicious meals to suit a variety of events and themes. When our knowledge was limited, they were able to step in and offer suggestions and solutions to make things work. Great people to work with; they will be our go-to caterers for every event.

Great experience with Maverick Catering

Maverick Catering did my son's wedding reception dinner. I would highly recommend them. They were easy to work with and the food was very good. We choose crab cakes and steaks and the guests raved about them. They had more than enough staff working the reception and they were polite and accommodating. I would hire them again.

So delicious!

Maverick was amazing and we had a great time tasting and figuring out what food we wanted for our wedding. Our guests all raved about the food, especially the huckleberry and brie tarts! We loved the bread assortment from Snohomish Bakery that we got through Maverick.
We had a significant reduction in guest count due to Covid and they worked with us to get money back where we had overpaid, plus made the process easy and less stressful than it could easily have been otherwise.
They also took care of clean up and linens, plus the bartending. We had no problems with any of it and having it all wrapped up into one made coordinating much easier for us.

Summer Wedding

About 2 years ago, we considered hiring Maverick catering for our daughter's wedding on a suggestion from the venue owner who had worked with them previously. At the menu tasting, we were SOLD! The food was absolutely delicious. When the wedding was postponed due to COVID, they were a joy to work with and easy about rescheduling. When the big day finally happened, the team took care of all the set up details, and the guests raved about the food! Plus, the team was very professional and made sure that all the guests had everything they needed. I would recommend Maverick to anyone who wants delicious food at their wedding and attention to all the little details!

Maverick Was Delicious on Our Special Day

Maverick Catering was wonderful (and delicious) to work with for our wedding! We were looking for a fajita bar option for our wedding, and Maverick knocked it out of the park. After several failed tastings with other caterers, we had a phenomenal tasting dinner with Maverick-- especially falling in love with the guacamole and salad. Maverick was also gracious with us when we had to postpone our wedding from the summer of 2020 to 2021. Our only downside was having to wait an extra year to taste their delicious food. Leading up to our new date in June 2021, the Maverick team was super communicative and helped ensure we had the right amount of food and drink for our guests. We can’t recommend Maverick more and would love to work with them again for future parties!

Maverick Catering Review

The entire Maverick Catering team made our June 2021 wedding PERFECT. We had to reschedule them multiple times due to the pandemic and they showed us such flexibility and empathy in all our pandemic struggles.

We did the buffet style plan with them and had tri-tip, a mango cilantro chicken, veggie pesto pasta, roasted veggies, spinach strawberry salad and their beverage package. They even made me a custom honey lavender butter that I wanted for the dinner rolls--SO good!

Their beverage package was so fun because it came with a delicious rose lavender lemonade, coffee, tea, lemon water, etc. All the staff made sure everything was refilled throughout the reception and their bar staff was excellent.

We decided to provide our own liquor that they would serve and they had us drop off the liquor, wine and beer to them the night before so they could have it chilled AND they provided ice. We also wanted to do custom moscow mules and they made the ginger beer + garnishes for us and we provided the liquor. Such a hassle free experience!

We loved them. They really make you feel comfortable when making your decision and provided with an awesome tasting experience! If you want high quality food for your wedding go with Maverick!!

Incredibly thankful for this team!

We were one of the couples who had to plan and replan a wedding due to COVID-19. Let me just say, Maverick was an absolute godsend during this difficult time. Jennifer and Zeke were so responsive and flexible when we had to change our venue, and then our wedding date. They helped us scale down our meal from 120 guests to 35 and created an entirely new menu for us when we pivoted from family style to sit down. Their food is exceptional and their service is unmatched. Highly recommend!!

True Professionalism

I had the pleasure of working with Maverick for both of my daughter's weddings. I can't say enough about the quality of food and the level of service they provided, even in the midst of having to reschedule due to the pandemic. From our initial tastings to menu planning leading up to our events, we were so impressed with their flexibility and willingness to listen to our ideas and vision for the event. We were so happy with Maverick Catering. We recieved so many compliments on the food and comments on how friendly the servers were. I would definitely recommend Maverick!! I was especially impressed with how professional the staff looked and how quickly they got the food out to the guests. Exceptional and stress-free service!

Maverick is in a league of its own! Their food is delicious and you can tell that it’s done by a true chef! Zeke is very flexible with his menu options and gives great advice to help your event go smoothly! Jennifer is so easy to plan with and we really appreciated her responsiveness to any question we had. If you don’t go with Maverick then you’re selling yourself short! Will definitely use their services again!

Great food, fun and professional staff. AMAZING experience!

I can’t say enough good things about Maverick catering! We tried many different caterers when we were planning our wedding and not only did we love Mavericks food (by far) the best, they were so great with working within our budget while still providing everything we needed! They were also the only caterer we found that does all of their cooking on site with their mobile kitchen! I had so many guests rave about how great the food was! Their staff were so professional and fun to have at our event! I would 100% use them again!

Catering experts

First of all, Maverick catered our wedding on July 12th 2020, amidst all of the Covid-19 craziness. They had all of the safety precautions in place to make everybody feel safe. It was so appreciated by us and our guests..
Most importantly, their food is their specialty. Just from the tasting alone, we knew Maverick Catering was passionate about the flavor of their food. And yes, it tastes the exact same on wedding day. Maverick catering and the team are professionals, courteous and considerate. Communication was stellar, and the price was absolutely reasonable for the quality of their food. Our guests have told us over and over again about how many times they went back for seconds and even thirds! Definitely give them a chance, I promise they won’t disappoint.

Delicious!

Food was excellent! We sought out Maverick Catering almost a year before our wedding and had to change/pivot our meal options as the wedding got closer (due to guest numbers). They were very accommodating and worked with us to make sure we got the food we wanted at our wedding! Their tri-tip was amazing and I still dream about the garlic bread and hot chocolate! (I even have guests asking how to make the hot chocolate STILL!)

We could not ask for a better caterer. Food was the highest priority for our wedding and they did not disappoint. Being able to customize the menu, was a dream for this picky eater. They never made me feel bad for any changes or questions and offered up solutions when I needed.

Amazing vendor to work with!

We had a Sunday Brunch wedding that was catered by Maverick Catering! They made the best chicken and waffles and the rest of the breakfast was amazing too! I would 10/10 recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great and knowledgeable caterer for any event!

Fabulous food and service!

This was the first time we used Maverick catering. We had such a positive experience that I already told them that I would like them to cater our auction for the next 3 years. The food was excellent, promptly served, displayed nicely and all the staff were very helpful and professional. Some of our guests had gluten and other food allergies. They were very accommodating and made a delicious gluten free pasta that was gobbled up. Try them...you won't regret it!!

Outstanding service, excellent care!

Maverick was by far the best catering service we could have asked for during our wedding and leading up to. They were responsive, flexible, accommodating and creative with their abilities. It was their first time creating a vegan inclusive meal along side their menu items and it blew us out of the water. It was extremely helpful that they knew our venue and could counsel us on setup, logistics, and general recommendations. Cannot praise their work enough!

Exceptional quality, price, service, and professionalism

The guests were really happy with the buffet and high quality, tasty food. Some asked who the company was so they can use them again. One of the favorites was the tri-tip steak.

Maverick did a great job polishing up the venue after our decorating, setting linens, and choosing some details on their own. They also had great bartenders. And, in general, they did such a great job being friendly, serving appetizers, cleaning up dishes, etc. They set up our champagne toast nicely and quickly. They did a nice job having the cake cutting by us a success by already having a fancy knife up there and the cake nicely placed on our rented cake platter.

It would be nice if they could buy alcohol (or maybe I forgot if that was an option) so we didn't have to buy and transport liquor, wine, champagne, and beer.

Finally, compared to other vendors, their price was very flexible which we found very helpful to our flexing rsvp list.

Best wedding caterer we could have had!

Maverick catered our wedding for us and we could not have chose a better caterer. It started with the tasting we had 9 months before our wedding that was completed personalized to us and every bite was delicious. From there they answered all our questions and worked with us for the changes and dietary concerns we had. They also went above and beyond and helped us with some wedding details beyond food. During our reception their service was incredible from the perfectly set up buffet to ensuring my husband and I ate. The best part was our guests all LOVED the food!!

Great wedding food

Maverick catering did an amazing job at our wedding. We had several guests rave about the mac and cheese and the pork belly bites. The buffet looked beautiful and tasted even better. They are thorough and make sure they know exactly what you want.

Great staff, amazing food, and affordability!

When looking for a caterer for our wedding, we chose Maverick out of 3 different companies we were looking into due to their friendliness and professionalism. We chose them before we even tasted their food, we were really just hoping for the best because they really won us over at our first meeting. They really get to know what you want for your event down to the last detail! We knew we made the right choice at our tasting appointment. The food was absolutely to die for! We ended up choosing two different pastas (It was so hard to narrow it down to just two as they are all so good), the apple walnut gorgonzola salad (which was a huge hit), roasted vegetables, assorted breads, and last but not least was one of the best prime ribs we've ever tasted! The food was such a hit and I cannot say enough good things about it! The staff was so professional, we hardly knew they were there. They cleared plates and glasses so quickly without being noticed, it was almost magical. We also used Maverick for their bar services as the event was held on our private property. The bartenders were great and they really had it pinned down with how to avoid lines at the bar (I mean seriously, what wedding bar doesn't have a huge line after the ceremony ends? Oh, that's right, ours! They were so quick and efficient even though we had multiple drinks to choose from).

On top of everything they did for us, the best part is how affordable they are compared to most caterers!

I can't wait to be able to recommend them to friends just to be able to taste their food again!

Awesome food, awesome people!

Maverick Catering is awesome! We used them for our wedding a couple weeks ago and they did a great job. Their food is delicious and the people are so easy to work with! Jennifer was especially helpful and accommodating of anything we wanted to change and even revised our proposal for us several times when we kept changing our mind on the menu. We would definitely recommend!

Great service and food

As a school we have particular rules that have to be followed in regards to finance and Jennifer was very accommodating and willing to work with us and our special situation.
The food was fantastic. It even tasted delicious reheated the next day.

Great food and staff

We used Maverick Catering for our reception in an untraditional way, we only wanted horderves, a lot of them instead of a full diner. They were very acomadating and executed flawlessly. Food was terrific and the staff was very nice. Strongly recommend this company.

We hired Maverick Catering as our wedding caterer and we couldn't be happier with their level of professionalism, service, and quality of food! My husband and I were completely floored at their private food tasting. Their salmon and garlic mashed potatoes were the best I've ever had.
Jennifer and Zeke met us downtown (close to our work) to meet us in person and talk about all their food choices and were professional and educational without trying to force us into anything. Jennifer was so accommodating and made probably 10+ changes to our invoice to make sure that at the end of the day I would be happy. Our wedding was in May and three months later, I still have our guests saying how good the food was! They were extremely affordable and even have their own mobile kitchen to maintain consistency and high quality of their food, which I thought was impressive and shows their level of detail. We even rented linens from them and utilized their bartending services. Maverick was a one-stop shop without compromising quality and was one of my favorite vendors of the day. I highly recommend Maverick to anyone thinking about planning a wedding.

Maverick catering was amazing! All of our guests loved the food and they were even able to accommodate some special dietary restrictions. They have a mobile kitchen which was important since our venue did not have access to a kitchen. If you are holding an outdoor wedding and are looking for a delicious meal that is professionally served using a mobile kitchen I highly recommend Maverick catering. During the planning process they were responsive to our questions and requests. The day of the wedding went really smooth and the staff were very professional.

Maverick catering was absolutely stellar at my wedding. They took care of pretty much everything, leaving me (the bride) free to relax and actually enjoy myself instead of stressing out. They accommodated every timing request, even fitting in custom toast glasses into their routine. The food was excellent and left everyone happy and content, and the bartender made a point to remember people's drink orders - a lovely, super professional detail that everyone appreciated. Jennifer and Zeke were responsive and excellent to work with throughout the planning process and up until the day itself.

All around, if you can get Maverick for your date, do it. They will make your wedding that much more memorable and fantastic. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Maverick is very easy to work with. I used them for a wedding in my backyard and they did a stellar job from set up, to service to take down....And the food? Maverick was amazing! They were very responsive leading up to the wedding and were able to accommodate all of our different ideas. The day of the wedding came and when the forecast said 80% chance of rain Jennifer was there with a back up plan for our all outdoor reception. They even managed to rent a big 10’x20’ pop up tent last minute to help us with extra shelter. And the food! After our tasting we couldn’t wait to eat their cooking. We did a taco buffet with pulled pork, chicken, and fajita veggies. Not to mention the salsa bar appetizers and home made guacamole. All around we are so glad we went with Maverick. Even our guests were commenting on how professional and courteous they were.

Seriously, wow. The food was phenomenal and my guests are still talking about how wonderful it all was. The buffet and appetizer display was beautifully arranged and again, absolutely delicious. And last, but certainly not least, the staff was so professional, friendly and accommodating from the moment I sent an inquiry to the day of service to our final good bye. I couldn't have asked for a better caterer for my reception. This is my second time using Maverick catering for our school's annual formal event. The staff is so professional and kind, They go out of their way to meet and exceed every need. They were patient and understanding with some last minute food allergies. The food is of consistently high quality. Not only was the food flavorful and delicious, but Maverick catering was great with answering emails and very experienced with the planning of the day of operations. We got several compliments on the food and I never had to worry about a thing. They packed up our leftovers for us to enjoy the next day. The Maverick Catering team was top notch in every respect. They were very professional, completely reliable and responded quickly whenever I emailed with questions. Jennifer and Zeke were extremely responsive and excited to work with me. I spent 4 months trying to find a good caterer to work with and had the HARDEST TIME getting responses or someone who wanted to do my menu. Other caterers took weeks to even reply back AND most of them didn't work with custom menus. I am so glad I found Maverick though! I heard back from them the next day. I had a unique menu that I wanted, and they were not only accommodating, they were excited to try something new! The food was top notch. We received so many compliments about the service and food. I HIGHLY recommend Macerick Catering for your event.

And! A suggestion for a crowd pleasing appetizer.... they made the best soft pretzels ever! Combined with cheese sauce...... oh man! They were awesome! EVERYONE keeps talking about them.

Jennifer and her crew did an awesome job. There wasn't one point during our wedding where we had to talk to them,they were on point the whole time. We suggested a churro bar. They said they had never done it before. Let me tell you they hit the nail on the head.!! I would highly recommend Maverick catering it was a joy to work with them,and they had some of the highest quality food that I have ever had. Do yourself a favor, if you're stressed out, let them do your catering. You won't have to worry about a thing.

The best thing about Maverick Catering is that they took care of absolutely everything and made that portion of the evening so very easy. They had the tables, the flatware, the plates and napkins, and even the decorations to make the appetizers and food look amazing. They had excellent recommendations for appetizers, were very flexible, and served the food with style (the pork belly bites had these cute little boats they were served in, and the butternut squash soup shooters were served in little ceramic glasses). The food and service were top notch. Highly recommend.

Great food!
Professional in every way! Maverick's attentiveness to details made the wedding a success. They knew the right questions to ask prior to the event which made everything associated with dining & beverage services run smoothly! We could not be happier having worked with Mavericks. Our prior caterer backed out three months before our wedding, and we luckily found Zeek and Jennifer. They are very nice people and incredibly personable. The food was delicious! I checked with every table at our wedding to see how they were enjoying the dinner and their evening. We made the decision to go with Maverick's for a number of reasons: the variety of their menu options, the ability to cook on site so the food would be hot, the full service they offered, including passing appetizers, beverage service, and full clean-up (including garbage removal) following the event. They were also willing to modify their recipes to our tastes - (ex. offering a spicier BBQ sauce) . The wedding reception went off perfectly thanks to their professionalism and culinary magic. We asked for both an Italian and BBQ theme to appeal to all our guests. They pulled it off better even than we could have expected. The stuffed chicken breast was moist and full of flavor with the fresh basil and sundried tomato. The BBQ brisquet was tender but not overdone. The coleslaw was a fresh counterpoint and the vegies were a real surprise to our 'foodie' friends since they included Brussel sprouts ( a favorite of our!~) . They fulfilled all our expectations with the cleanup following the meal and removal of the garbage. I can't say enough good things about Maverick catering...
I would hire them again for our next event!

I went with Maverick Catering initially because they were the only caterers that were responsive upon my request of information. Once I met with Jen & Zeke I was confident in hiring them for our big day. They just knew all the little details that needed to be covered that I would never have thought of. They were very accommodating in our menu requests and changes. They are very laid back no pressure kind of people but very professional in their execution!!! All of our guests raved about the food!!! Even though they were thrown a curve ball with Zeke having and injury and emergency surgery he was still at our wedding making sure everything went as promised. You can't buy that kind of customer service anywhere!!! I don't have enough words to express their quality of service and food. You will not be dissapointed in hiring them. They are full service with very competitive pricing.

I got married July 9th, 2016 and the catering was unbelievable and the food was to die for. Maverick Catering took extra lengths to ensure our menu was customizable to meet our budget, which was most important to us from the get go. I've never seen such an on prompt caterer. They were there every step of the way during my wedding planning, honestly there were numerous changes that we unavoidable and Maverick catering met each of my needs. Special thanks to Jennifer P. She is absolutely professional and a wonderful person to work with. Recommendations absolutely in order.

We picked this caterer because we had 3 others fall out. We didn't even try the food, we just booked them on a whim. We can't say how happy we were the others didn't work out. It was the best catering experience we've ever had! The food was amazing and they worked with all our special needs and requests. They even had us bring the cakes to them when we didn't know what to do with them and never had to worry about them again. Couldn't recommend them enough. In fact, we've had a large number of people get their card for them for future events.

Maverick was amazing for our wedding this past June! The food was spectacular and was a big talking point for our guests during the reception and in the days to follow. They were fun to work with and were excited for some creative menu choices. We had a huge pan of paella along with whole smoked pig accompanied by some Spanish and Korean appetizers. There was a ton of food, and every appetizer was snatched up by our guests and plenty of people went back to the buffet for seconds. We had an outdoor wedding where Maverick cooked everything on-site and ran a fantastic bar. They also facilitated event rentals which went far in making planning the wedding a simpler experience for us. All in all, Maverick was helpful, friendly, and a big part of what made our wedding a great time. If I ever need catering again in the future, this is an easy choice!

The food was amazing, fresh and delicious. The staff very professional and efficient. Many, many of our guests raved about the food over and over. Many said it was the best catered food they had ever had, I agree. I highly recommend Maverick Catering. From the initial meeting with them months before the wedding, we were impressed by their expertise and suggestions. They know exactly what they are doing and do it very very well. We absolutely loved them and would never use any other caterer but them for any future event. Great people to work with. The whole team was fantastic, very lovely people!!! Very delicious food!!!

Maverick went over and above during one of the worst wind storms in WA history. Our expectations were meant and then some. The food was incredible! We had many guests tell us how great everything was. They bring everything to the venue in a self contained trailer, they need nothing! They even had a generator we used at the venue because the venue had not electricity when we got there in the morning due to the crazy wind storm. They were life savers. The food was beef, roasted veggies, rustic bread, and a beautiful salad. Everthing was fresh and the hot items were hot and the cold items were cold. We would highly recommend them and would use them again if we needed catering. We were a little nervous about using them because they are in Monroe, and we were in Skagit. The distance didn't bother them at all. They came and met with us for the initial meeting and even invited us to their business for a complimentary tasting (dinner), although we were not able to attend that due to our busy schedule. Very Very professional. They bring their own staff and dress professionally. Clean off tables, refill water, bar service, take away all garbage they accumulated, clean up so well that you never would know they'd been there. Excellent catering by Maverick! Jen and Zeke are easy to work with and very accomodating!

My husband and I just got married Sept 4th 2015 and almost a month later my friends and family are still raving about the food at our wedding. We had Maverick Catering cater our wedding. Maverick came recommended to us and we gladly pass along the recommendation to anyone hosting an event. Maverick is very fairly priced and easy to work with. Jennifer and Zeke worked with us one on one to help come up with a menu that fit our needs and fed everybody very well, but the menu also fit our budget which was important to us. Most importantly they serve great gourmet food! All the food was very fresh and perfectly cooked. Zeke, Jennifer, and their team are very professional, timely, and clean. If you need a caterer go with Maverick!

Maverick Catering was excellent! They arrived on time, ready to go, smiles on their faces and a great can do it attitude. The served the food at the right times and it was all displayed and set up so that everyone was able to enjoy all of the various selections. All food were served at the right temperature and was super delicious! The bar tender and cake cutting services were well worth the additional money! Thank you Jennifer and Zeke!!!

Maverick Catering did an amazing job from the beginning to the end with my daughter’s wedding. First the free consultation where they listened to our ideas and gave us great recommendations for options while keeping our budget in mind. After deciding on a menu we got a free tasting of all of our choices. The deal was sealed after the tasting, all the food was amazing. (Pulled pork sliders, chicken kabobs and mac and cheese just to name a few). The day of the event went without a hitch. The food presentation was beautiful, the servers and bartender all did an amazing job. The food was excellent and the guests raved about the food. It was a great experience working with them and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer.

Maverick catered our wedding. It turned out even better than I imagined. Everyone loved the food! (especially the mac & cheese). Additionally, the Maverick team was a real pleasure to work with. They were very helpful coming up with ideas and helping us plan the menu. They came to us in Seattle for our first meeting. They brought pictures of food and helped us figure out what to serve given the conditions at our wedding (really freaking hot) and our budget. Then we went to them for a tasting. The tasting was really useful because we quickly realized what we wanted and didn't want. We were really honest with them about what we were looking for in the food, and at the wedding they delivered perfectly. They were also very responsive to all of questions and concerns about the details from start to finish. Their help, and precision was especially valuable because we didn't use a coordinator.

Maverick was very professional and on top of everything at the wedding. They came early to setup, the food was ready right on time, and they even smoothly covered a snafu we caused in the timing. They packaged the leftovers for us to take home, so we could continue to enjoy them. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing.

We had Maverick Catering provide the buffet dinner for 40 people the night before our son's wedding. Our son had already arranged to have Maverick do their wedding reception. The food was absolutely wonderful--both nights. Everyone raved about the salmon they served at the dinner, including several who had eaten in the best restaurants in NYC. I heard "Never had salmon been so perfectly cooked" over and over again. The chef has his own smoker for cooking that makes the food "out of this world." Not only that, but the chicken alfredo they recommended as a complement (for those who were unfortunate enough to be allergic to fish) was also so-o-o good--tender with the pasta cooked just right.

The presentation of the food was appealing, with the variety of cheeses and fruits on the multi-layered plates just like the beautiful on-line photos. Jennifer worked closely with us to get the set-up just the way we wanted and checked in with us throughout the evening. She helped us figure out what foods would work with each other so that we had balance and variety.

Maverick Catering also handled our son's wedding the next evening. That was appetizers and desserts beautifully presented and as excellent tasting as at "our" family dinner the night before. I'd definitely highly recommend these professionals to you. They present the food exceptionally well, and everything tastes really, really delicious.

Maverick catering provided the food for our second Senior Dinner. Their food was PHENOMENAL, moist delicious chicken - we couldn't believe how moist it was; well-seasoned tender perfectly cooked flank steak; appetizers and a display to make your mouth water - LOVED the caprese kabob; crisp fresh salads; and their vegetable medley and potato dishes were to so good I even went back for seconds, and I don't usually eat potatoes! The deserts were amazing, too - I somehow managed to eat most of the decadent chocolate brownie desert, because it was too delicious not to try even though dinner filled me up. They accommodated food allergies, labelled vegetarian dishes, and were utterly professional. The students were impressed and we will look to them again in the future.

Maverick catering, given a four day notice, was able to put together an absolutely perfect Prime Rib and Alaskan King Crab dinner. The owner even cancelled his camping trip to provide his services on such short notice for our wedding. The Prime Rid with au jus sauce was the best we ever had, and the King Crab was cooked to perfection. Our 25 guests went through 45 lbs of prime rib and 20 lbs of King Crab. Needless to say, everyone went back for thirds and fourths, they all commented on how great the food was and the amount served. Our dinner also included herb roasted potatoes, fresh dinner rolls, Ceasar salad, and fresh squeezed cranberry lemonade. That staff was extremely professional and dressed nicely. We will definitely be using them again to host a summertime party for our friends and relatives.
