Great experience!

It was such a breeze working with Camellia Faire for our wedding florals and we are glad that we went with them. From the moment I spoke with Erin and Maura, the process was so seamless. They were always very responsive whenever I had questions or needed to make changes to our proposal. Maura really captured our vision so well and I was so in love with my and my bridesmaids’ bouquets. I wish they would last forever!

Beautiful work!

Maura and Erin of Camellia Faire Floral Studio were wonderful to work with! They were flexible with our floral package as we got closer to our final headcount and seating chart arrangement. It was great to be able to go to their studio and create a mock-up design of each piece that we were interested in. They did a wonderful job of setting up and breaking down the ceremony site and the reception ballroom quickly and efficiently. I love that they incorporated my favorite flower, sunflowers, and my mother's favorite flower, daisies, in each arrangement. Thank you for helping to make our wedding day so beautiful!

Hire them! They're amazing!

We chose Camellia Faire for florals for our fall wedding last year and were so thankful that we did! Maura and Erin are truly masters at floral designs and were helpful every step of the way! I had showed them some of my ideas I found online and they went above and beyond. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how gorgeous the flowers were, and the designs complimented everything so wonderfully. I loved that they had the floral workshop months before the wedding. I had spoken to multiple other florists and they are the only ones I spoke with who offered that and I found it really helpful to see things in person and talk through different stylings. They are beyond patient and helpful. I emailed them with a bunch of questions I had and they were very responsive. Also a few weeks before the wedding during our final meeting I shifted the color scheme to some lighter tones and they were great at adjusting the vision and making our day a beautiful one! They and their team are wonderful to work with and we're so glad we picked them for our day!

The absolute best!

Camellia Faire Floral was AMAZING to work with. Maura, Erin, and the team took my Pinterest board ideas and turned them into absolute magic for our wedding day. To this day, people are still complimenting how beautiful the flowers were. Not only did the team create beautiful bouquets and decor but they were so easy to work with. From the first phone call to our in person meeting, Maura and Erin were always open to hearing my ideas and helping bring them to life in the best way possible. They went above and beyond for us and I am so grateful! We were still changing small details up until the last few days before the wedding and Erin was always available to answer my questions and accommodate the changes. I can’t thank this team enough for all of their hard work!!

Maura and Erin are AMAZING. I cannot get over how stunning the flowers looked at our wedding. From my bouquet, my girls bouquets, the boutineers, the chuppah, and all of the centerpieces, they were able to give me everything I envisioned. They are very knowledgeable with their flowers and what types and colors look great together. I showed them a picture of a flower without knowing the name and they were able to identify it and provide it for my wedding day even though it's not always in season in the Summer. They communicate and accommodate very easily and can work with you for whatever your style is. I would 10000% recommend them to any of my friends and family getting married in PA!! They truly made my vision come true and made my wedding look like a fairytale.

The BEST florals in PA

Our wedding was postponed due to COVID but we had already booked and paid for Erin and her team. They said, no problem, and made it work. They'd get five stars just for that, but the flowers were to die for. Erin was up front with the price and the details and we had several planning calls. She was so prepared with pictures and alternative options if we didn't like something or it was too costly for us. We changed our color scheme since we postponed the wedding to a different season, and Erin took my (very vague and not well thought out) vision and made it more perfect than I could have imagined. The whole team was so easy to work with and I'll be dreaming of these flowers for a long time.

Amazing to work with!

Maura and team were so great to work with. We originally planned a larger wedding for early 2021, but decided to cancel and do something smaller 6 months earlier. I was so excited that Maura was able to accommodate our new date. I don't know much about florals so I know I wasn't very descriptive, but Maura was able to execute my vision perfectly.

best decision, period.

Hiring Maura for our wedding florals was one of the best decisions we made. Maura was referred to us by our wedding planner and we fell in love with her portfolio of designs. In working on the color scheme and design for the wedding day, Maura was so receptive to our ideas and made many great suggestions. As a part of working with Maura, she hosts a floral workshop for each of her couples. I have to say that this workshop was easily my favorite part of the whole wedding planning process! We visited her studio and saw live, mock-ups of our bouquets, corsages, and table settings. This was such a great way for us to not only see everything and work out design in real time, but it helped us to picture the big day visually! She rolled with every change we threw her way and embraced it. The end result was a beautifully designed and well-thought reception with amazing florals. I just wish I had another excuse to throw another party with her florals again!

OMG the best!

Pre-pandemic, when a florist I was set-on ghosted me, I was devastated and left to start the process all over. Turns out this was the best thing that happened to our wedding. I found Maura through the list of suggested vendors from my original venue (Front & Palmer). I was sold on Maura because her work looked gorgeous and she was SO responsive. I knew we would be set for our wedding if anything went astray. Now cut to a global pandemic.

Planning a wedding itself is a challenge but planning a wedding during a pandemic is super wild. Our original wedding was significantly scaled back (twice). Maura + team were there for every step -- showing up in the pouring rain to look at a venue that we didn't even end up using and quite a few phone calls with a frantic bride (me) on how to handle all the changes that come with getting married during 2020. She helped us re-plan and rethink flowers not once, not twice but three times.

When it came to the actual wedding, I would not have changed a single thing, the flowers were absolutely perfect and the compliments I received on them were endless. I would probably max out the allotted word count if I tried to give her the praise she deserves. Easily the best decision you could make for your wedding, regardless of the size!

Highly Recommend Maura & her team!

I'm a terrible bride and am writing this review many months after our wedding, but to this day I still think about how glad I am that we hired Maura Rose and her team to bring our wedding floral and decor vision to life. Maura and her team were a dream to work with, and were incredibly responsive, flexible (indecisive bride!), friendly and overall just wonderful. The work that they did to complement our venue (terrain gardens) was perfect. If you are looking for a florist - you can't go wrong!

The Best of the Best

Maura + her team were unbelievable. We are artists, so needless to say we had some very particular ideas about color and aesthetics of our flowers at our wedding. Mostly, that we wanted to go wild! My (now) husband is from Miami, so we went for a Miami meets Philadelphia vibe with metallic silver accents, a bit unconventional. Maura guided us through various beautiful tropical flowers that were accented by other beautiful greens and leaves for pop. Maura also incorporated ostrich feathers and silver spray painted fronds into our bouquets and arrangements with care and ease. I could not imagine working with anyone else. We did a consultation at their new location in Yardley and it was such a blast to play with flowers and ideas with my fiancee, maid of honor, and mother. Maura fulfilled our vision and went above and beyond. I was SHOCKED on the day of my wedding on how beautiful the flowers were - beyond my expectations. They looked like a million bucks, (but Maura was able to keep us within budget)! Everyone was wild for the flowers, especially a asymmetrical display on columns that flanked us when we did our vows. There was not one thing out of place, not one detail left unattended to. As a 'unconventional' bride, I couldn't have been more pleased that Maura was willing to get creative and wild with us, and ultimately design the flowers of our dreams!

Maura made my "vision" come true

Do yourself a favor and hire Maura Rose Events for your wedding. Don't even think twice about it. I have a very specific vision for how I wanted my winter city wedding to look and Maura executed it perfectly. Throughout the planning process I revised a few things (even up to the last week!) and Maura always made the changes without any hesitation. She was super easy to work with and in my opinion, insanely affordable compared to her competition but never sacrificed quality. Maura, thank you for giving me my dream wedding!

Low stress and gorgeous results!

Maura and her team are total visionaries. Having never planned a wedding or gotten married before every bit of the process was totally foreign to us, but Maura left my husband and I feeling at ease every time we spoke. She is flexible, understanding, knows what questions to ask so we didn't have to, and has beautiful taste. It was an added perk that Maura sources as much of her florals and greenery from local farms and greenhouses as much as possible. She is such a wealth of knowledge and an absolute expert in her field - if we find another reason to work with her, we will! It was a joy working with Maura and we recommend her 1000%!

My daughter, Emly, who was living in England at the time, first communicated with Maura via Skype. When Emily, her best friend (her maid of honor), and I spent time at Maura's teeny, tiny yet amazing workshop and her sun-filled corner office in Fishtown several months before the wedding, we were all impressed with how closely Maura listened to Emily's requests. Maura completely understood Emily, and we loved that Maura is not your average florist but instead a person who has a Bohemian, natural style. Her flowers actually have a scent - they aren't so inbred that there is no smell, and she incorporates wild flowers and herbs in her weddign bouquets and arrangements. As an example, because the groom and his groomsmen are British, she made sure their boutonnières included imported English tea roses (which smelled as if they had been picked from a garden); as well, Emily's bouquet had fresh mint in it, whose scent surprisingly and gently wafted as she moved. To add to Maura's natural approach to floral events, the ceremony arch with willow branches, as well as the greenery surrounding the Moraccan lanterns with LED candles on each table at the reception were beautiful. Katie and Abbie, the people who set up the flowers at both the ceremony and reception (the venues were 30 minures apart from each other) were wonderful - because the weather was "iffy," they were the one to make the crucial decision that the ceremony would be outside. Maura and her crew are open to ideas and wonderful to work with!!

Choosing Maura Rose Events as our florist is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Maura and the team did an unbelievably amazing job on our March wedding. The team is highly responsive, answering even small questions along the way, and are able to customize to your particular wedding. Their "garden-picked" style is beautiful and my bridal bouquet smelled so good I almost didn't want to put it down all evening!

My 2 favorite things (other than the flowers of course) about working with Maura Rose Events:
1) Their online management platform: Keeping track of what you owe to every vendor and the changes you make along the way is hard when planning a wedding so Maura Rose Events has an online system that tracks all of this for you with them. Allowing you to see your contract, your photos, and updates with any changes you both make along the way. It tracks emails and can automatically pay your balance on the required day. What a difference weddings would be if all vendors used this!
2) Design Days/Appointment: The opportunity to see what your flowers may look like in advance is a huge advantage with Maura Rose Events. It's a fun chance to play with flowers, get a feel or literal smell of them, and make tweaks to that vision together. Not all florists offer this opportunity. It was a great chance for me and my mom to enjoy a little wedding planning fun.

Maura was fabulous. My husband and I don't know much about flowers, but just by having a consultation conversation and looking at my dress and some inspiration photos, Maura delivered. When my bridesmaids saw my flowers, they could not get over how beautiful they were. Maura's work was unique and compared to other florists we talked to, very reasonably priced!

I had my wedding reception in a hotel ballroom, so I knew that I really needed to up the ante with the floral arrangements and decor. Maura was just the person to help me do that! From our initial phone meeting, I felt so comfortable with her. Admittedly, I knew/know little about flowers, but she walked me through everything and worked within my budget.
Fast forward a few months and she has me in for a design day and that’s when I knew I made the right choice. In front of my eyes, Maura was able to put together beautiful arrangements, exactly how I wanted, with very little direction from me. I also was toying with the idea of upgrading to larger/higher centerpieces and she threw one together quickly that I fell in love with and knew that upgrades were worth it! Leaving my design meeting was the happiest I have been - our designs were beautiful, I felt comfortable and at ease that she understood what I wanted, and we had fun!
A week before the wedding, our church (Greek Orthodox) informed us that we needed crowns (stefana) for our ceremony. We were scrambling, but Maura made classic floral crowns possible, even on short notice.
Day of everything went so smoothly! The bridal bouquets were delivered and looked stunning, the boutonnieres were waiting for the boys at the church, and the reception centerpieces were arranged with no supervision on our part, but were exactly how we wanted them!

Maura offered more than just affordable flowers - she was flexible and patient to this indecisive bride and it was her who brought my hazy vision to life and ensured that I had an absolutely beautiful wedding.

You can feel 100% confident in using Maura for your next event. I used Maura & team for my wedding and they were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Very talented, professional, responsive and accommodating. I have never seen more beautiful flowers in my life, and I wish they could last forever. I couldn't stop staring at them on my wedding day and the days following. I sent the team some initial ideas of what I liked and they executed those ideas flawlessly! I was even able to come in for a "trial" where they showed me some samples of my wedding day flowers at no additional cost. Pricing was very reasonable and they worked with my low-average budget, and I felt as though I got way more than what I paid for. Maura provided the flowers for our wedding on 10/28 and she did a stellar job! Her team provided the flowers, birch chuppah, garland for the aisles, LED candles for the tables/centerpieces, and various other decor. We wanted to do a true fall pallet in both colors and textures - we didn't have a "color scheme" so we were really open to her ideas and she killed it! We couldn't have been happier with the final product. The centerpieces and bridesmaid bouquets stayed vibrant for many days after the wedding, which proved just how fresh everything was. I have my bridal bouquet hanging in my living room - I couldn't bare to throw it away so I dried it out and will cherish it always. WE LOVE YOU, MAURA! :)

Maura was amazing! My wedding flowers were more gorgeous than I ever imagined :) From my bridal bouquet to the boutonnieres, everything was perfect. Maura also provided us with a 'mock up' centerpiece and a chance to view and tweak or wedding day centerpieces which was awesome. Maura did our wedding at Pearl S. Buck this past June, and I highly recommend her! After initially speaking with her on the phone for a consultation she had so many great suggestions and ideas that we decided to go with her and I'm so glad we did.

She completely understood the look I was going for and the final result exceeded my expectations. From my bouquet, to the hand tied garland and centerpieces (and also the arrangement on the card table was gorgeous) it was perfect! Maura was also so easy to work with and laid back, so we didn't have to worry at all- all within our budget. We're so glad we went with Maura Rose!

We just used Mr. Photobooth from Maura Rose for our wedding, and it was terrific! Maura was so easy to work with and plan things before the wedding, and we had a really great time with the photobooth during the wedding. The props were great and we loved the "open air" feel - not an actual booth! Everyone had a lot of fun posing and being silly! Maura was AWESOME. She did both the flowers and day-of coordination for our wedding in center city Philadelphia in November 2015. In terms of the flowers- it was perfect. Everything that we were hoping for. She was open to our suggestions and requests, and offered such wonderful complementary ideas. I wanted to use wreaths in our decor, and she did an awesome job. We had many complements on the flowers, and everyone was taking them home. My aunt used one of our wreaths on her door for the whole holiday season :) Very pretty.
In terms of her day- of coordination: My husband initially resisted hiring someone for this purpose, but I eventually won. In the end, we were both so happy that we had someone to oversee our big day. Maura has a very calm, composed, sweet nature. She is the perfect person to have with you on one of the most potentially stressful days. totally 100% worth it for peace of mind. she kept everything running smoothly, and prevented us from needing to worry about logistics. she was fabulous. highly highly recommend. She made a schedule, coordinated with out vendors, and essentially made it so that we didn't need to worry.

I couldn't have found a better match for what I was looking for. I relayed my vision as best I could and Maura Rose ran with it turning it into an exceptional and integral part of my dream wedding. I was blown away by what I saw and the feelings her work produced. It really was perfect in every way. The compliments on my flowers from guests were, "uniquely beautiful", "exquisite", "gorgeous", I could go on. Maura Rose has the ability to see your vision and make it come alive. She also came though last minute when it dawned on me that I forget about a cake topper! She made sure everything was perfect.

Perfect outcome. Clear communication and an easy transaction. She was flexible, extremely knowledgeable, had helpful suggestions, and generally easy to talk to and exchange ideas with. I felt like I was in good hands and everything turned out beautifully. She strives to use mostly local resources, has reasonable prices, and gives you her personal attention. She had everything ready at the venue and answered my questions pre-ceremony. I got a TON of compliments from my guests. The bouquet photos from my wedding were some of my favorites.

Maura was wonderful throughout our entire wedding process. She completely understand my vision and executed it perfectly without flaw. She was professional throughout the entire process. I changed my ceremony design and bouquets a month out from the wedding and she worked with me to make sure everything was perfect and what I wanted. It down-poured on our wedding day, but Maura was great was discussing our Plan B the week of and everything was perfect. Maura also was very reasonably priced. I had originally met with numerous florists who were asking for 3-4x her price for fewer flowers. I highly recommend floral services to everyone!

Choosing Maura Rose Events was the easiest decision I made throughout the wedding planning process. After our first meeting, I had no doubt that Maura and her team would do an amazing job. And they did just that. Maura took all of our thoughts and choices of flowers - and made it more beautiful than I could imagine. Maura was very up front about cost as we went along - and there were never any concerns there. I loved the creativity Maura and her team put into the day - from the flower boxes, to give a more rustic feel, to the hops they added to my husbands boutonniere (which he loved, since he brews his own beer). These small touches made all the difference throughout the day! I would (and have already) recommend Maura Rose Events!

Maura actually ended up being our event planner after another competitor would not answer my contacts after she already received our deposit. So I went on a search for a photo booth even after hours my first phone call was answered immediately! She always responded within a few hours. Her prices were remarkable I got a five hour photo booth that her assistant worked for our big day we event planner services for the day off & rehersal all for less than what I would have payed for a traditional event planner! She even helped us prior to our big day setting up timelines and accommodating everything we needed.

Maura was our florist, event planner, and day-of-coordinator for our 6/6 wedding at The Top of the Tower in Philadelphia. From the first meeting, I knew we made the right decision-- Maura was personable, professional and creative-- and best of all, reasonably priced! During our first meeting, Maura offered many suggestions based on our overall vision of the day, and sent lots of photo examples so we would know exactly what we were getting. Through the months leading up to our wedding, Maura and I were in constant touch-- and she was always happy to offer creative options based on our budget and event needs. She remained flexible and accommodating, and didn't bat an eye when I wanted to change our centerpieces just a few days before the actual wedding.

Maura was also essential in ensuring our big day went off without a hitch. She reached out to all of our vendors and coordinated a site visit, and then pulled together a comprehensive day of timeline for all of our vendors. She was on-point at the rehearsal the night before and facilitated everything perfectly. Finally, on our actual wedding day, Maura ensured everything was set up exactly as we wanted it, and went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I had everything we wanted and needed.

I would absolutely recommend Maura as both a florist as well as a day of coordinator. Maura and her team continuously went above and beyond to ensure we were completely satisfied and felt comfortable with the services we were getting. Maura and her team are the best! In looking at A LOT of floral and event companies - the cost and rigidity they offer did not fit our vision our budget. Looking for ways to be different and unique, she worked with us to develop, tweak and pull off a perfect concept that worked for us and our venue. We are very pleased with our experience and the pictures prove show how every detail we stressed over came together!

Maura was EXCELLENT to work with. Maura Rose provided beautiful flowers for my full bridal party including custom flower wants for the littlest kids - they loved them!!! She met with my fiance and me and provided example pictures as part of the proposal. The flowers were exactly what I was hoping for - absolutely gorgeous!! She delivered them day of right on time. I simply cannot recommend anyone else besides Maura Rose Events to take care of your wedding or special event floral decor! I was engaged in April and married in August the same year, and Maura took all of my stress away when it came to floral design. My fiance and I walked into her office with a blurry vision of what we wanted that day, and left with a crystal clear image of what Maura would do for us on our special day. When we stated our color scheme, she presented us with a website with flowers listed by color as well as books on different types of flowers. Since we were not the experts, we left most of the decisions up to her, as she has such a unique gift for designing intricate arrangements. On our wedding day, we were not disappointed! Maura created my bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, special person corsages, Blessed Mother bouquet, altar pieces, reception center pieces, throwaway bouquet, the list goes on! I was so impressed with her professionalism...when you meet with Maura, you can see how passionate she is and how she is more than willing to go above and beyond to meet your needs. Maura is excellent! She is a very talented florist who cares about her clients and their weddings. I was an indecisive bride with a budget, and Maura guided me throughout the process on making cost-effective yet beautiful floral design decisions for the wedding. My bouquet was exactly what I wanted. So gorgeous! And the centerpieces/ tablescapes were beautiful. I was going for a rustic elegance in an indoor loft venue, and that's what I got thanks to Maura. We made the best choice for our wedding day by using Maura Rose Events for our flowers. Maura clearly understood our ideas and vision for the day - walking into our venue and seeing her great work match the idea we had in our head was perfect. She was incredibly responsive throughout the months leading up to our wedding, very helpful with additional ideas and last minute add ons. Her pricing was incredible for the value she provides. Maura also went the extra mile and took care of some additional set up of items we created that our venue could not do.

I couldn't recommend Maura enough for any event you may have. She was amazing to work with, our guests loved her arrangements, and she exceeded all of our needs for our big day.

Amazing!!! The flowers and Maura's vision exceeded expectations in every way. We didn't budget for elaborate floral arrangements but with Maura's creative design we were absolutely blown away by how gorgeous everything looked. My bouquet, bridesmaids flowers, center pieces, and ceremony flowers were better then I could have ever imagined. Many of the guests commented on how much they loved the flowers!! Words cannot express how beautiful the flowers were that Maura Rose Events created! Not only was Maura amazing to work with, but her professionalism and responsiveness is outstanding! Our wedding was at the Renault Winery, so we were looking for a florist who could work with our budget and who could capture our vision of a rustic winery feel. Maura and her team were able to not only understand our vision for flowers, but also take it to the next level! From the beautiful centerpieces with real grapes, the amazing bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, etc. everything was truly magnificent! You will be especially pleased with Maura! Because of the other positive reviews I read about her, I hired her without meeting her. It was a total leap of faith! Everything she did was simply beautiful. As Mother of The Groom, I hired Maura to do our Rehearsal Dinner flowers which matched perfectly in the restaurant. But the most important item she did for us was a Chuppah that Maura constructed and perfected designed with the most was perfect flowers that was erected within a Church. Again, even though we did not personally get to meet, I felt totally comfortable every time we spoke - I never doubted once that she would do an outstanding job!

We found Maura on Craigslist after searching for florists in the area. Some florists didn't even want to talk to me about design and concept until I had my bridesmaid's dresses. When I found Maura, I was first impressed at how personable she was. She was easy to talk to and immediately understood my vision. We met on several occasions, and each time she was prepared to answer any questions or concerns I had. She is very enthusiastic and professional. I have already recommended her services, and almost wish I could get married again so that I could work with her again. Her prices are budget friendly, and the end result of my flowers were breathtaking. The bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces were exactly what I wanted, and as one other bride stated, the flowers lasted a long time. Our guests took the centerpieces home and they lasted for weeks. Maura was outstanding....after 2 florists had previously pulled out from doing my event I contacted her with only 2 months to go. She was accommodating and flexible. Whenever I would email her I received a quick response. Maura worked with my budget and was able to fulfill my vision for my flowers and beyond while other said "its not possible" - Maura was a true life saver! I found Maura Rose Events on Craigslist after already working with a florist that was not being responsive. I am a very low key bride but had a venue that required that the florist carry insurance or I could not use them. Two months before the wedding, I still did not have confirmation from my first florist that they could show proof of their insurance so I reached out to Maura Rose. I immediately liked how responsive she was and how professional. She sent me a spreadsheet with questions for me to complete prior to our meeting. I did bring some samples of what I was looking for but she also brought some suggestions. I felt that she really "got me" and I loved all of her suggestions for the wedding. Before leaving, my mother and I told her that we would discuss everything and let her know if we decided to use her but before we could even leave, my mom went back and told her that we loved her and would love to use her.

The flowers for my wedding were beyond my expectations. I got ready at my parents and told Maura that she could take all the flowers to the venue but she insisted on bringing just my bouquet to my parent's house so we could take all the standard pictures....the flowers and my shoes, the rings and my flowers, etc. I almost cried when I saw my bouquet. It was just more than even I had pictured in my head. And the flowers for the ceremony and the reception were phenomenal but still well with in the budget that I provided to her. I had picked some very simple but romantic centerpieces and Maura kicked them up a notch while still keeping to my theme and my overall feel for the evening. I was more than satisfied and am still receiving compliments on the flowers when I show my pictures!

Dont let her pretty young face fool you, Maura Rose is a true professional. We searched around the area and had 4 quotes for the same concept, Maura was significantly less expensive than the others. She was very open to our ideas and had perfect suggestions on how to make our bouquets really pop. She was always there to answer our questions and worked around our hectic schedules. I have already suggested her to my girlfriend who is getting married next year and would suggest her to anyone else in need of flowers for any occasion, not only weddings. I absolutely Loved my flowers for my wedding! Maura did a fantastic job creating the look I was going for with my flowers. Brides - your seach is over. Maura Rose was incredible! She was so patient and helpful when I was searching for exactly what I wanted, as I had a lot of ideas and just wasn't sure. I knew I wanted my flowers to represent colors from a sunset theme as we were planning a beach wedding, but I was not sure exactly which types of flowers would work best. Once I told Maura a little bit about what I was looking for, Maura had several helpful suggestions. She put together a few sample bouquets for me to choose which one I liked best. They were all amazing, but I chose sunflowers and red roses for my bouquet, which looked magificent on the beach. My bridesmaids were wearing blue, so these colors were also perfect to stick with our nautical / beachy theme (our reception was at a local yatch club). She also was really great at explaining the different way the flowers should be bound, and she knew from experience which style flower binding was really best for a beach wedding.

Maura also did our table decorations and our centerpiece flowers were absolutely stunning. We described to her an under water display idea we had and she ran with that and made it unique, simple and very elegant. I cannot tell you how magical the reception room looked with these beautiful white calla lillies displayed underwater with tea lights floating and surrounding the vase. We had countless compliments about the centerpieces and my bouquet as well as my bridesmaids bouquets.

Maura really takes the time to help put together exactly what you are looking for, and she is super easy to work with! She is so nice and really cares about making your day perfect. Everything went smoothly and without a hitch. I never had trouble getting her on the phone or in email, whichever worked best for me that day. Maura is incredibly talented and her arrangements are sophisticated and elegant. Most importantly, she has a skill that highlights the personality of the bride within her arrangements. We knew we wanted to book Maura and her team the minute we met Maura. She is not your typical wedding florist which was very refreshing to us. Maura is very knowledgeable, super nice, and easy-going. She really looks out for the bride. She asks all the right questions…even ones I didn’t think of…to make sure your day is perfectly decorated. She was able to take an idea that I had in my head and create beautiful bouquets for me and my girls, as well as, boutonnieres and aisle flowers. We were married outside on a windy day and although my veil and hair were all over the place, my “loosely tied walking through a patch of wildflowers bouquet” was picture perfect throughout the entire day!

Not only is Maura really helpful and great to work with she is also inexpensive compared to other florists in the area. We were on a small budget and going with Maura saved us a lot of money which meant we had room for other things in the budget…like hand-rolled cigars for my husband.

You can tell Maura really enjoys what she does just by speaking with her. If you want a florist who’s willing to work with you and create “the picture you have in head” I’d highly recommend Maura. I tell all my friends about her and her team.

Maura was completely attentive to me during my planning, and she helped me find the perfect flowers to go with my winter wedding. She also saved me a lot of money which was so incredibly helpful to us.

I would totally recommend using Maura Rose Events, you won't be dissapointed!

Maura Rose was INCREDIBLE to work with. They took my flower vision and made it so much better. I truly valued their knowledge and in the end the flowers weren't exactly how I pictured, they were far better. They were really great to work with through the whole process and I loved being able to go to their shop in person and see their vision. We also had a small budget to work with and they were very accommodating and able to work in our budget.

I highly recommend Maura Rose Events! She is very talented and knowledgeable and her team did an AMAZING job at my wedding. My ceremony was outside next to a lake and they built and decorated the most romantic and beautiful chuppah I'd ever seen! The centerpieces on the tables at the reception were enchanting and so tastefully done, creating the exact vision that I had wanted. My bouquet and flower crowns were perfect and so tasteful and elegant. Maura was also very sensitive to price, thinking of ways to save money while still getting the same effect. At one point I had changed what I had ordered and she was very honest and decreased her charge for my flowers based on the reduction in cost. You will not regret your choice to use Maura and her team!

Incredible attention to detail and a pleasure to work with

We had no idea what to expect when hiring a florist for our wedding. We compared about 8 different companies and in the end were so glad we went with Camellia Faire. After describing my vision for flowers, Maura and Erin went above and beyond to make sure the décor was perfect, while suggesting creative twists on my original ideas and always happy to entertain new ones. Their passion for their art really comes through when you get to see mock-ups of the centerpieces, bouquets, and other key elements at the design workshop. It was so helpful to know ahead of time exactly what the flowers at our wedding would look like. Everything turned out even better than I envisioned it, and the Camellia Faire team went above and beyond to make sure our winter wedding went off without a hitch (even staying in a hotel the night before the wedding because of a predicted snow storm!). I cannot recommend Camellia Faire highly enough – they did an incredible job and were phenomenal to work with.

Maura Rose and her team were simply wonderful and made me wedding absolutely beautiful! They nailed the secret garden/garden party look we wanted and were very accommodating throughout the planning process, working with a lot of my own materials to create a stunning look. We received so many compliments on our centerpieces and the flowers for the ceremony, and they did a wonderful job incorporating all of the items we gave them. They also did a beautiful hanging installation that we requested last minute and really made the reception feel like a fairy tale, and they did a beautiful job putting together our cigar bar and cupcake display. And to top it all off, their pricing was very reasonable! I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for floral designers who will really listen to what you want and work with you to create something personal and beautiful.

Maura Rose Events provided beautiful flowers for our wedding. I told her what style I was looking for and she delivered the perfect bouquet and centerpieces. Definitely a wonderful florist to work with!

Planning a May wedding, I had platinum flower taste with a gold budget. I'm not sure how she did it but Maura delivered an impeccable product with the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen and managed to completely stick to my budget. She was able to take my dreams and inspiration and make minor tweaks to better highlight my wedding dress, venue and bridesmaids. Maura was able to literally make my pinterest-worthy dreams come true. My wedding day was covered in the most dreamy peonies, garden roses, ranunculous...all thanks to Maura. My guests were blown away and I was too. I doubt there is any aesthetic that Maura can't excel in but I am positive that she nailed my romantic, organic, lush spring vision.

We were so excited to work with Maura From the first consultation she instilled confidence and made me feel very comfortable leaving a very important part of the wedding in her hands. The flowers for my wedding were beautiful and she had so many ideas that I had never thought of. My bouquet was exactly what I imagined it would be and my bridesmaids loved theirs as well. She included cake flowers and my toss bouquet at no additional cost, although my venue was unable to locate the toss bouquet, so we are unsure if one was provided, but my mother sacrificed her posey bouquet for the toss. All worked out in the end and I would recommend Maura Rose Events for anyone in the Philly area looking for beautiful flowers that aren't ridiculously priced.

Maura was a joy to work with! She was a true collaborator in that she listened to our vision as well as gave us her professional input about what would work best in our wedding venue. She is easy-going, creative and efficient. She worked within our small budget and gave us really good options for simple and elegant centerpieces. We highly recommend working with Maura and her team.

Maura Rose was amazing, our wedding flowers were absolutely beautiful and everything I hoped they would be. We had some odd requests (notably covering a dog statue at our ceremony), and that was executed to perfection. The pictures we've received so far have been incredible, we were so, so pleased with the work Maura and team did! The only reason I didn't give 5/5 stars is that one of the centerpieces (of the 3 styles chosen) wasn't exactly what we discussed (still turned out beautiful) and in drying my bouquet of flowers, it seemed there were 2 fake flowers used. This did not impact how beautiful everything looked the day of, but just wasn't expecting it.

A Difficult Experience

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in our experience with Maura Rose. Ultimately, our flowers were pretty and no one knew that there was anything wrong. But as the bride and groom, we were very disappointed in what we were given, especially for the price we paid. If we had to redo our wedding, we'd go with a different florist.

Communicating with Maura and her team was difficult -- sometimes we would have to send 2-3 e-mail before getting a response days to weeks later. We also had to painstaking read every line of the proposal because there were constantly mistakes in the florals and aesthetics we were asking for (maybe this is why so much was executed incorrectly).

We were adamant that we didn't want any traditional roses, but they were put into every single centerpiece. We also emphasized that we wanted LOTS of blue thistles, and none were in the bridal bouquet at all, only in the bridesmaids bouquets. In general, the bridal bouquet looked very thrown together and lopsided and some florals even fell out during photos.

We also emphasized that our most important colors were saturated pink tones and asked for coordinating florals for our cake and groom / groomsmen boutonnieres. However, all of the florals used for the cake and boutonnieres were a sad fleshy tan color -- no saturated pink at all.

We also made it clear that we didn't want an asymmetrical chuppah, but when we showed up to the ceremony space, it was asymmetrical. Our coordinator called Maura and someone was able to come fix -- which I'm thankful for. However, because we had to wait for someone to come fix it, we weren't able to take any photos with it before our ceremony, and missed out on some pictures we really wanted to have.

Do yourself a favor--find someone else. This was the worst vendor I had worked with. Completely unsatisfied. There are backdrop options--I had picked the gold. They provided black. People in dark clothing get lost in the photos. Also--being as the company is called Mr. Photobooth--I was shocked that there was NO BOOTH. Just a backdrop with a camera in front of it. Did I mention that I had to, during my wedding reception, go out to the lounge and tell the man he should be working the photobooth? He was just relaxing on the sofa---even though it was during the time frame I paid for. Then I had to explain to him how the pictures were supposed to be placed in the album and signed by the guests. I also had to track down tape and pens for him--he apparently didn't have any. Maura Rose also told me she would send me proofs of the strip, so we can pick what it will say. 6 days before the wedding I had asked about this, she told me she was busy but would be sending it. It was never discussed. I had no input on the strip. My father asked me why the photos printed out at the bottom and he had to bend down and pick them up himself. Again, the man working apparently was not doing this for guests. I truly regret hiring them. I would definitely keep looking. No one wants to spend their reception looking for tape, pens, and explaining repeatedly to someone how to do their job.
