Del is the best DJ!

Del was such an amazing DJ and we could not have been happier with hiring him! He helped us shorten our first dance song and was in touch with us before the wedding to make sure all of our favorite songs were played. He also has a hilarious personality which we got to know more the night of the wedding as he made funny jokes after each speech, and all of our friends were telling us how funny and great the DJ was. Thanks so much Del! We had a blast!

The Best MC!

WOW! DJ DEL was a hit! Literally from the first e-mail to the first moment we met, he knew exactly what was needed and when! It’s almost as if he spoke to my musical soul! He’s charismatic, intelligent, the best MC out there, and so KIND! We found ourselves very lucky to have worked with him, and have him be a part of our special day! He literally goes above and beyond! My father is very sick and was unable to fly to our wedding. DJ DEL took it upon himself to facetime him during our ceremony! Honestly, he’s the best, don’t miss out!

Best DJ on the island of Maui!

DJ Dell did an amazing job at our wedding. We gave DJ Dell a few songs that we liked and he exceeded our expectations. He rocked the night and all the way to 10:00pm when the reception ended. DJ Dell even let me take the mic and rap to Don't go chasing waterfalls as a last minute impromptu performance=). The crowed loved every song that was played. Thank you so much for such a memorable night. My husband and I recommend DJ Dell for your upcoming wedding! If you need a planner, Tropical Maui Weddings helped us find all of our vendors including DJ Dell and the Olowalu Plantation House. 10 stars all around! BEST DAY EVER!

Fun and professional!

DJ Del Sol did an amazing job at our wedding! He was a great MC and seamlessly kept our wedding on schedule. We were particularly impressed with Del Sol’s playlist - he played awesome music and kept everyone dancing.

Del was fantastic! We had a few special things we wanted to do during our ceremony and reception and he was completely receptive and helpful in making them happen. He's flexible, fun, easy to work with, and completely professional and on top of things. He helped bring our vision to life and played such great music! We hired DJ Del Sol for our wedding and could not have been more pleased. He was the absolute best!!! Super responsive to emails/calls, arrived on time, and kept the fun going all night. He is a total pro and I would recommend him to anyone. We have such great memories from our wedding, and I know we owe some of that to DJ Del Sol, the best DJ in the world!

OMG! DJ Del Sol is AMAZING! He DJ'd, MC'd, and help reception coordination with our timeline at our June wedding in Wailea a couple of weeks ago! He incredibly talented, organized and ON POINT with everything. He even made sure we got our drinks and food ready for us once we got into the reception. He does it ALL! All my guests loved him! He plays the Jams (old & new), and was in the MIX! If it wasn't for Del, our reception would not have been as wonderful, lively and special as it was!!! As an MC, WOW! If you want your wedding to be OFF the HOOK, leave the MCing to Del....Just incredible how he illuminates the crowd! Also, his uplighting package is awesome! I recommended him 100x's for any event, especially one as special as a wedding! He will not disappoint. I cannot put into words how amazing you made us feel that day DEL. DJ Del is truly an exceptional DJ, MC, and all around great guy! For our wedding, he not only played the jams, he was also very smooth with helping us seamlessly transition into what came next in our schedule of events from the grand entrance to the mother and son dance and bringing everyone onto the dance floor. All the while, taking the time to mingle and make sure everyone was having a great time.

We were very happy with our choice to go with Maui Wedding DJ for our DJ services! They provided pre-ceremony, ceremony and reception music! They also worked with out videographer to make sure the sound was being fed into their system for our wedding video as well! They were so friendly, and took a lot of time ahead of time to work with us on exactly what we were wanting!

DJ Del is the best DJ I've ever heard at a wedding (even though I may be a bit bias as I used him for my own wedding). He took our groups song requests and made sure they were all played and then filled in the rest of the with with similar songs. My wedding night was during one of the worst storms ever on Maui and DJ Del kept playing the music like a champ. He told me once something went out the night was over but he stayed throughout the downpour of rain until the very end of the night! I am so glad we chose him as our DJ and would highly recommend as he goes above and beyond what is expected.

DJ Del was awesome for our wedding! He's truly a professional and he really knows his music. Not only did he play music, he worked with our coordinator to be on top of our schedule. He told us exactly how much time before the next event and what we can expect. He also has such a positive vibe as an MC that he makes everyone so happy being around him.

Before the wedding, he gets to know you personally to get a flavor of what type of music you listen to so he can personalize it during your wedding. For me, I'm into hip hop and electronic music and what he played was on point. I've gotten so many compliments from the guests on how great the music was. He set the right mood during dinner and turned up the energy during the party at night. During our wedding, one of my friends wanted to play a song by someone I requested not to hear (this artist shall not be named). Even with big bribes from my friends, he stood firm and told them no matter how much money they offered, he would not be swayed. This man is an incredible DJ.

DJ Del Sol is such a nice guy and an awesome DJ!! We wanted a DJ who wasn’t going to make our reception a whole big production and who would match the laid-back vibe of our outdoor venue. He was definitely what we were looking for! We sent him a list of songs that we wanted played during cocktail hour and at the reception, and he told us it would be no problem at all. He told us that if he ran through our entire list and still needed songs, he would play songs with a similar feel to what we requested. The music was on point the entire evening, and we later found out that tons of our guests skipped dessert to continue dancing. DJ Del also served as our emcee for the reception, and he did such a great job! He was funny, sweet, and so friendly with our guests…we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!

DJ Del is hands down the best wedding DJ. I was on the dance floor all night long. My guests were raving about the playlist the next day asking if I gave him a list. I simply gave him a few of my favorite songs and he knew exactly how to fill in the rest of the night. I love different genres of music and was worried it would be awkward going from one genre to another. I had absolutely nothing to worry about. He's amazing at what he does.

Dj Del did an amazing job at our wedding at Olowalu Plantation House. He dealt with changing weather conditions, impromptu Karaoke and an intense coordinator ;) like the pro that he is. He fit in all of our songs and squeezed in a very important one right at the end of the night which was one of the most magical moments of the day. Our guests had so much fun and the energy was fantastic. Thank you Del for helping to make our day so special!

DJ Del is the ONLY guy you should get for any event you’re having on Maui! He helped us with our Olowalu Plantation House wedding and truly brought down the house! We had a full dance floor the entire night, and he even gleefully helped me prank a few of my guests! My husband is Colombian, and we didn’t even have to give him a list of songs we wanted played to get the playlist just perfect! He knew what artists would be a hit with the Colombian side of the family and with everyone else. Seriously, he hit every right note. The “classy/ touch of Hawaiian” mood he set during our cocktail hour was spot on, and our guests loved going up and getting to know him. He gets rave reviews not just from the bride and groom- but EVERYONE in attendance for the wedding. They all commented how great he was! Great value, great services, great person all around! We can’t wait to get back to Maui to see our new friends!

Del was a huge part of our wedding from start to finish. He worked closely with us during the planning to ensure that we had everything we needed from a ceremony sound system to DJ and Master of Ceremonies services and more. Del has a great personality and made the planning process a breeze as he was super organized. My fiance had a few specific versions of songs that she wanted (some of them just snippets of the song) and Del responded back to her quickly letting her know that was no problem at all. He really made her feel at ease that everything was going to go smoothly on our wedding day...and it definitely did.

Owning a DJ company myself I must say I was pretty amazed at the quality of gear that Del used for our ceremony. Knowing just how important a ceremony is means that he's not going to leave anything to chance...and it sounded great! At our reception Del was the definition of a Master of Ceremonies. He ran the show from start to finish and did so in a fun yet professional manner so that our guests felt at ease interacting with him. As a special surprise to my fiance I brought in one of her favorite musicians to sing our first dance. Del knew this was a surprise so as the musician was coming out to setup Del distracted my fiancé by coming over to our head table and talking to her on the mic. When Del knew that the musician was set he simply asked the two of us to follow him to the dance floor for our first dance...and only then did my fiance see the musician and she was completely surprised. I think there are a lot of DJ's that can mix and mash music well and Del is no exception in that regard but it takes a lot of talent, practice, and hard work to truly become a Master of Ceremonies.

Of course Del kept the dance floor packed all night and was even able to bring some extra gear for us (highly recommend renting his lasers and extra sub if your venue will allow it). His ability to jump between genres and properly mix songs together is unparalleled.

We interviewed several DJ's for our big day. It is important that you find a DJ that "gets it" and really connects with you as they play a big part in the overall success of your wedding. From the jump, DJ Del Sol separated himself from the pack. All of the other DJ's that we had spoken with up to that point had asked us what questions we had. Not Del. He took opened the conversation asking us how we met, and how I proposed. He took the time to get to know us - that personal touch goes a LONG way.

Leading up to the wedding, he was great to work with - super easy and responsive. And needless to say, he absolutely crushed it for our wedding. So many people commented to us about how much fun they had at the wedding and how awesome the DJ was. I can't recommend DJ Del Sol enough!

This review is long overdue! We were reminiscing about our wedding day and realized we forgot to thank our DJ! DJ Del was spectacular. All our guests raved about him at the wedding and even now. He leaves a lasting impression. He was recommended by our wedding planner from Tropical Maui Weddings and we couldn't be happier with both! He played the songs on our song list, and added some amazing songs that really fit with our style. He even had the famous Aussie song "working class man" by Jimmie barnes…which was a hit! He really listened to what we wanted and no one wanted to leave the dance floor by the end of the night. Thanks DJ Del, you made our evening one to remember!

DJ Del Sol was perfect for our guests. We wanted a DJ that didn’t play the typical wedding music. We wanted music that was modern and energetic for our guests. Not only did he play music that our guests like, but kept a great transition between songs. His transitions on songs that the guests didn’t like were extremely subtle and smooth. We spoke a few days before the wedding to confirm songs. Unfortunately, the first dance song was misplayed :( However, his energy was perfect! He engaged and interacted with our guests and even jumped on the dance floor a few times. His package was perfect, fairly priced, and included everything we needed!

DJ Del was a great choice for the wedding. His music choice was fantastic, he kept the energy high and set the perfect mood for the evening. His music choices we’re perfect for dinner, classic standards that appealed to our diverse crowd. He turned it up for the dancing, and kept the party going all night long. Often you find lulls in the wedding, where people exit and take breaks. Not with DJ Del, the party went all night until people could dance no more! The thing we appreciated above all else – he was a great guy and helped us with the little things throughout the night. He got us drinks, always was checking in, and even helped pack up the cars at the end of the night. Great DJ, but also a great guy and a perfect choice for our wedding.

Oh Gosh, DJ Del Sol was awesome! We first chatted over email, but when I spoke to him on the phone I just knew he was the man for the job. He has such an energetic personality and is so nice that we had to have him for our wedding day. Del was wonderful in answering questions, in being organized with a document asking for our song choices and just always being available when going through timing and anything else that needed to be discussed.
On the wedding day itself he was AWESOME! He started off with an awesome grand entrance for us. We had a friend as an MC, but I was super happy that we had Del do the grand entrance because he really got the crowd into it. From that point on, he was so professional and he really stuck to our wedding song list. We had put a lot of thought into that list so it was so great that we got to hear so many of our favourite songs. He really read that crowd though and ensure to put the right song in the right spot.
Thanks so much for making our wedding so great Del. Everyone had such a great time. Once that dancing started, it never stopped. Great job!! :)

DJ Del Sol is definitely the best DJ on Maui! Working with him was an absolute pleasure and I'd strongly recommend him for any wedding or celebration that may require an MC to preside.

When searching for a DJ for our wedding - we definitely were a bit jaded by the DJs we have seen at some other weddings. Having seen the gamut, we knew what we wanted and that was a DJ that didn't hijack the event (by speaking too much or inserting random "not funny at all" jokes), that didn't play the generic top 40's or god forbid those "did they really put that on" jams like the Electric Slide and Macarena. Well fear not because DJ Del was the exact opposite of what we'd consider to be our ultimate nightmare!

Del was the ideal DJ for our wedding. He never once tried to steal the show and really did a wonderful job getting the crowd engaged. His mixes were on point and did the most fantastic job playing the songs we had wanted - in fact I found out later on that he pretty much took my sample list (by sample I mean full 10 hour set list of well over 200 songs) finding which ones worked the best to create both our dinner & dance list for the night.

If you are looking for an on-point, energetic and not cheesy DJ well Del is the man for you. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a DJ on Maui - he won't disappoint!

Del was amazing! He is a great guy and so helpful with everything! He is awesome to work with both before and during the wedding. He is extremely professional and will put you completely at ease that your party is in excellent hands. His ability to read the crowd and keep people dancing was great. He paid attention to all of the little details we wanted and made sure that our entire night was perfect. Best DJ on the island! Felipe (aka Del Sol) was great. Felipe was very responsive and provided us with a great template to input our requests. Del was available by cell, email, text, etc. This helped eliminate any confusion and as a result, made it an unforgettable night. The music and MC'ing was second to none. Felipe kept the guests laughing with his great sense of humor and kept them dancing all night long with the music. He even went out of his way to make sure we had a blast at the after-party. DJ Del Sol is AMAZING!!!! His taste in music & style, ability to read the crowd and mixing skills were top notch. He was not only a great DJ but also an extremely funny MC. I absolutely loved working with him and my guests raved that he was one of the best DJs they've ever heard (and they love to go clubbing). For almost 2 hours my guests danced non-stop and the dance floor was NEVER empty because he kept the crowd going. DJ Del was professional, extremely flexible with our changing schedule and weather and he was a lot of fun to work with. Awesome awesome awesome! Poor DJ Del- I was so busy the few weeks leading up to the wedding and sort of left him hanging. We had a meeting and I pretty much just said, "Go for it!". WELL- he was absolutely amazing! He read my husband and I perfectly. The songs he chose to play before our ceremony, during the cocktail hour and during our reception couldn't have been any better had I chosen them myself. He was incredibly organised, very professional and even helped prepare our MCs and track our schedule. I think he was even more on top of things than our wedding coordinator! And his energy is super contagious. This guy is the best DJ around!

I had a destination wedding in Maui this past May and DJ Felipe “Del Sol” was awesome!! He was highly recommended to me by a family friend who's family member also used him for their wedding. He was very professional and personable. He played all the right music, accommodated to guest music requests and consulted me on questionable guest music selections. He definitely understood and felt out the mood of the crowd and played the right music the entire night. I forgot to choose an introduction song and told him just to play any love/island song. He played the perfect song, I couldn’t have chosen any better! It's become one of our favorite songs. He was also a great MC and kept the flow and timing of events which allowed me to sit back, have fun, and enjoy my wedding. It couldn't have been any more perfect. So many of my guests came up to me during and after my wedding reception to tell me my DJ was really good and super cool. Good music can make or break a wedding, and DJ Del Sol did a perfect job! Del is simply the best DJ ever!!! We felt a great connection the first time we spoke to him on the phone, and even more so when we met him in person for lunch just a few days before our destination wedding in Maui.

He played the best music and really kept our party going all night! He also went above and beyond in helping direct some of the other parts of the evening.

I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat, you won't be disappointed!!!!

DJ Del Sol is the best! We planned a destination wedding and it makes for easier planning when there is great communication. DJ Del Sol would Skype, FaceTime, email, call, text, whatever, whenever anything was needed he was ALWAYS available. DJ Del Sol got our vibe perfectly. He played exactly as we wanted. And kept the party going the whole time. DJ Del Sol is someone we will always contact when we are back in Maui, just to hang out. He's a great person overall!

Felipe was so great to work with!! He made it easy and played everything we asked him too, didn't play things we asked him not too and added a few songs that fit in with the selections we had made. He even at one point got on the dance floor and showed our party how to do a particular dance. He was very professional, fun and charismatic. Our group was all impressed with him.

There are no amount of words to express how INCREDIBLE DJ Del Sol is!! When hiring him for your wedding, you honestly are investing in THE BEST Maui has to offer. My husband and I are from the mainland and decided to have a destination wedding. Having an amazing DJ was one of our top priorities. We didn't get to meet Del in person until we arrived on the island a few days before the wedding, but from our first phone conversation and throughout the planning with him, we were absolutely sure we had picked the perfect person. Even his website is updated and well-kept, which unfortunately, I cannot say about other DJs who were actually recommended by our venue. First impressions are so key, especially in situations where you're unable to meet in person, and Del really exudes excellent service in all aspects of his business and persona. Del was beyond professional throughout our time working with him. He exceeded all expectations; he provided exactly the type of ambiance we wanted at our reception, and we didn't even have to give him a strict playlist. He is so skilled that we just had to give him a rough idea of what we wanted our reception to feel like, and he made it happen. He has a great, warm personality and was genuinely interested in making sure we were comfortable and happy with his work, that everything went smoothly and perfectly on his part, and that our wedding was a blast!! Everyone had such a great time; my feet were dying for the next few days afterwards because I barely left the dance floor. :) My favorite thing about Del is that he's even followed up with us after the wedding, just to check on how married life is going. He's such an amazing individual aside from his awesome work ethic. WE LOVE HIM! If having the best DJ at your wedding is important to you, then you MUST hire Del!!

Top Notch Service! Met with him over lunch a few days before the wedding, and talked about what to play and what not to play. Named some very random artists and tracks we like during the meeting. Since we wanted him to play a couple foreign tracks, we dropboxed them to him, but what surprised me the most, he even played tracks we mentioned casually, and that we didnt drop box and he didnt know of them before. Thats amazing! Good on the mic and has a good feel for the crowd - and up to the times on whats happening on the current music scene (if you want him to play current stuff). Recommend him for sure!

There are professionals and then there is DJ Del Sol. WOW! That is what the response was from our wedding guests. We couldn't echo that louder. From the moment we decided to book, working with Del was a dream come true. We heard him play for a friends wedding a year earlier and couldn't stop talking about it! Booking was super easy and he made himself available to us via phone so we could chat about specifics. Emails were returned promptly and there was never any confusion about how things were going to go. Once we arrived on island we met up with Del to give him our lists of what to play and when. He understood our vibe and took it from there. I can't tell you how many times we have been asked, "Can I get a copy of your playlist for dinner and dancing? - it was amazing!"
Also, we had 2 opera singers and he was gracious enough to come to our rehearsal so that they had a chance to meet with Del and go over what they needed as far as timing goes. Every single thing went perfect.
We had Del from the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing and he knew exactly how to transition from one segment to the next seamlessly.
A+++++ is how we rate Del!

If you're a prospective bride and groom, stop your search and look no further for a wedding DJ. Your DJ is DJ Del, Maui Wedding DJ. DJ Del had a huge hand in making our wedding reception everything we envisioned it to be and more! We emcee wedding receptions plus the groom of our duo is a long time on-air radio personality in the Los Angeles radio industry so you can imagine that we were very particular about what we were looking for in a DJ. We know that it takes an excellent DJ to keep the flow of a wedding celebration/reception going and what it takes to keep it dynamic. We were tremendously blessed to have found someone who would echo our vision. Del is THE BEST. I work in the wedding/events industry and when my fiance and I were booking music for our wedding we knew that we needed him!! He was always so prompt with getting back to us-- so helpful! He was easy to work with-- his website was easy to navigate and asked all the right questions so that on the day of the event, everything was seamless and had already been communicated. His setup is so clean. He's professional. He has such a great energy! He always has the right words and he can read a crowd SO WELL. He played everything we asked and just by giving him that he knew the music we wanted for the event. I couldn't stop dancing all night and I was the bride!! I should have been mingling but I couldn't stop dancing! He even joined us on the dancefloor for the last song :) I reccommend him a million times over. He is simply the best at what he does.

I would highly recommend DJ Del Sol for any event/wedding. He was very professional, personable, easy to work with and always trying to please. I just gave him a very generalized list of different types of music I would like played at certain times and he did not disappoint. I can't say enough good things about Del Sol! He went above and beyond his job at our wedding. One of the things that stands out in my mind that day is when he walked me down a very steep hill to get to the altar at our wedding spot. He took his time, helped me with my dress, talked to me in such a calm manner...it really made my fears and anxiety melt away! It was truly one of the sweetest moments that entire evening! Besides that, he was an AWESOME DJ! He spoke at the right times, said the right things and played the perfect music! DJ Del Sol could not have been more profressional, prepared, and willing to make our wedding reception be everything we had hoped for and more! He completely understood the type of atmosphere we wanted for our wedding guests and made it happen. EVERYONE was dancing all night long (until they kicked us out!)! Felipe (aka DJ DelSol) is one of the coolest DJ I have ever met. He was very fun to work with and very professional. I had special requests and he was so accommodating. Our wedding was a small outdoor wedding reception and we a blast for the entire night. There was not a dull moment. He even join us on the dance floor and show us some moves!

As a bride planning a destination wedding and never met any vendors in person until we got to Maui days before the wedding, it can be very scary. Having the right DJ really makes such a difference. I am so glad that we found Felipe. He made our night so fun and memorable. All of our guests had a great time and complimented on what a great DJ we got.

DJ Del Sol was awesome!!! We only had a coordinator for the ceremony so he was pretty much our coordinator/MC at our reception. He is the best. We met with him twice before the ceremony because my husband wanted to make sure our playlist is perfect and although we only gave him a few of the songs that we wanted him to play, he extended that playlist based on the songs we gave him. I also called him a week before the wedding to mix the two songs for our first dance and he did that promptly for us. He is amazing and I would recommend him to every bride or to any occasion that a DJ would be needed. Our reception was fun!!! WE danced all night!!!

First things first, Del was awesome!!! He was very professional and responsive during the entire process. Planning a wedding/reception from the mainland can be daunting, but he made taking care of the music easy. He was by far the easiest vendor to work with and even made an hour drive on his own just to meet with us in person beforehand to finalize the plans. He really listened to us and he laid it down exactly how we wanted. He had everyone dancing and it was a total blast. Music really determines the party so do yourself a favor and go with him...you wont be disappointed.

Del Sol played at our wedding on St.Paddy's day this year - and he was wonderful. The prior meetings were greatly appreciated and truly helped set the tone for our wedding, both through skype and in person.

He did a great job introducing our speeches and keeping the program going. And of course, the music was fantastic. Everyone had such a great time dancing the night away!!!!!

Del was absolutely fantastic!

We talked ahead of time and we were on the same wavelength from the first minute. We're definitely fans of electronic music but wanted to mix it up, play some diverse stuff and make sure that the older generation got some nods on the playlist too. Del hit all the categories perfectly. He knew exactly what to play during the dinner portion and afterwards really was able to segue into the dancing portion well without any of that silly "Radio DJ Voice" nonsense.

Honestly, Del was a great guy, and a true DJ – someone who loves the art and craft of being a DJ. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone doing a wedding on Maui.

From our first conversation over the phone he was extremely easy to talk to and picked up on exactly what I wanted for our music selection. My wedding was absolutely spectacular, I couldn't have had a better wedding! It couldn't have had better music! I can't possibly say enough good things about DJ Del Sol, he was so amazing to work with. Literally he made the event run smoothly! He gave great customer service, he looked for and found specific songs that were really important to my husband and I. My grandmother requested just the music version of showboat so she could sing, he put it all together and she literally stole the show. A great DJ works in the background to make sure it all happens! A day or two before the wedding I realized the ceremony might need sound. He was literally a phone a call away and made it happen with ease. My coordinator ended up not doing the day of services and he literally ran the show, and kept everything on time. We had plenty of time for dancing, and fun. It was the most magical day of my life and I am so grateful to Del for a being a part of it! The day ran soo smoothly and effortlessly for me. I don't think I can really express how grateful I am to have had him there.

Del was the best DJ that we have ever heard. He was funny and very accommodating. For anyone getting married on Maui, hire Del as your DJ... You won't be sorry.

DJ Del did a great job at our wedding! He not only was responsive to the crowd and our requests, but he really stepped up and emceed the reception program, which helped out the busy bride and groom. He even learned a little Japanese to make our Japanese guests more comfortable! He also quickly set up and took down the musical performance and slide show we had. His music was eclectic and he did a great job of reading the crowd and changing course to get people dancing. We would highly recommend him!

This guy was amazing. He was such a pleasure to work with, he mixed all the music fabulously, he worked with me on planning the procession, he found me a live singer, and MC'd for me with no notice. He also worked very well with some difficult family members and checked my preferences on everything that needed to be run by me. There was even one point when I dropped and smashed my glass (not even near the DJ stand, and by the time I looked down, he was already picking the glass up off the ground! This guy takes such pride in his work and he does his job fabulously. Thanks DJ Del!

DEL SOL is absolutely amazing! Coming from the Bay Area, and knowing a few DJs ourselves, we had high expectations of what we were looking for. Upon review all dj's available on Maui, Del was at the top of our list. It took some time in the beginning to get a quote, but we inquired smack dab during wedding season, so bad timing. but i am so HAPPY we held out for Del.

First - he was so helpful, outside of being a DJ/MC. When I (the bride) first arrived, he helped me out of the van and carried my things and showed us our waiting room at Olowalu. Pure Gentleman! Even after the ceremony, during pictures on the lot next door, he came by with waters for the Groom and I. Again, he didn't have to.

Second - he was a great MC! Knows how to work the crowd, keep things moving, and all around very personable. If you want someone to keep the party LIVE, he's the man.

Lastly - he knew exactly the music we wanted, without us even asking for it. Based on a few of our song choices, he knew exactly what to fill in the time with. He even recommended a different entrance song for us, just based on the hype we were looking for and it was PERFECT.

DJ Del knows what he's doing! He was very helpful pre-wedding when discussing our music preferences and really nailed it the day of. From fun mash ups to creative mixing, he did it all. Guest that I would never expect to be on the dance floor were enjoying the music that Del played. Thank you Del for keeping the momentum of our wedding going. Such a fun time dancing the night away!

Loved DJ Del Sol! He seemed to help out more than the wedding coordinator at the reception, played the right kind of music for us, definitely made the wedding that much more special.

Del was absolutely amazing. He was super responsive to all of our questions leading up to the wedding.

At the wedding, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ. He played all of the music we had suggested, plus a ton of other great music. He had the dance floor packed the entire night, and made all of our guests feel super comfortable.

We had rave reviews from all of our guests on Dels DJing.

Would recommend to everyone!

DJ del Sol was really great to work with. Trying to organize our wedding in Maui from Montreal was quite a complicated task. However, working with DJ del Sol leading up to the wedding was a breeze. He was always quick to respond to my emails, texts and phone calls. He is professional, incredibly organized and a lot of fun. Our wedding ceremony (outdoors) and reception were both held at the same location. He did the sound and music for both, including the cocktail reception in between. Everything went smoothly, thanks to DJ del Sol. He is a little pricey, but definitely worth it. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a fun, stress free wedding in Maui.

We actually had Del Sol's partner Evan (DJ Decka) DJ our wedding a few weeks ago at Olowalu Plantation House.

Evan was amazing. He came early to set up and I believe he even started playing a bit earlier than agreed upon when the musician took off early. He played a good mix before and during dinner, and kept the dance floor full the entire night, with both young and older guests. I believe he played most of the songs on our request list, and he was very open to taking requests that day.

Evan contacted us a few days before the wedding to see if we could meet in person. This meeting was really helpful, as we got to know his style, and he got to know us better as well. We gave him our list of requested songs, and he had some suggestions for our first dance song, one of which we ended up choosing. We also told him about the demographics of our guests, and he played a perfect mix for everyone.

The only minor complaint I have about Del Sol is that he double booked us. We had told him our date and were in the stage of sending the contract back when we found out had already booked someone else on our date. It turned out OK, though, because we got Evan, who rocked.

To his credit, I had contacted Del Sol many months ago to inquire about his services, and he did follow up very closely with me for a long while, asking if I had any further questions, even as I continued to say "no, we're still thinking about it." In addition, he made sure we weren't left high and dry by setting us up with Evan.

So, overall, Evan was fabulous, and I had just one minor issue with Del Sol.

Del was awesome at our wedding. Everyone commented on how great the selection of music was and how engaging Del was with the croud. He really made our night special and one we will never forget. I would recommend Del to anyone getting married in Maui.

Great DJ and Emcee

Overall, DJ Del was a great choice for our wedding. He was kind, funny, and personable. He did a fantastic job emceeing our wedding and ensuring the evening flowed perfectly. He also kept the dancefloor hot! He played all of our must-play songs, and stayed away from our "do not play" songs. He also played majority of our chosen songs for open dancing, but added in some great options based on our guests and the dancefloor.
We did have a couple of minor issues on the wedding day. Del had made edited versions of the songs we chose for our first dance, father/daughter dance, and mother/son dance that were about 1:30 long. We had practiced our dances to these versions (especially our first dance, as we had this choreographed). However on our wedding day, Del came up to us after the ceremony and said he didn't have the edited versions of the first dance or mother/son dance songs. For the mother/son dance, my husband just had to look up at Del and nod to tell him when to slowly fade out the song. For our first dance song, the non-edited version completely threw us off at the beginning of our dance as we hadn't practiced to it. We got the hang of it and it ended up being great, but we definitely felt some panic and stress at the start.
We also had a slideshow that my mum had put together to show during the reception. There seemed to be a technical issue when it first started playing as there was no sound for the first minute or so. He worked quickly to correct it, and the sound came on for the rest of it. We understand tech issues happen and are sometimes out of one's control.
We are still happy with our decision to work with DJ Del. Despite the few minor hiccups, the overall package was still fantastic.

We hired DJ Del Sol for our Maui Wedding this year and were happy with the ceremony! DJ Del Sol was happy to meet us via web conference early in our DJ search and right away we liked his approach, his DJ style, and the fact that a day or two after we emailed him we had a time set up and he was happy to answer all of our questions and we never felt rushed. One thing that impressed us was how he planned for equipment failures (though none happened).

He wanted to make sure the reception was perfect so he suggested an in-person meeting in Maui a few days before, which we thought was great and it was nice to run through all the last issues.

The reception itself was a blast and even though we had a small wedding of a little over 30 friends and family DJ Del Sol had us dancing the whole night - and he covered all of the songs we really wanted to hear and still made room for requests. His style is great for a wedding reception in which one song just goes into the next with a great flow and all of our friends and family. His MCing of the reception was professional and he was able to adjust to any last minute changes without breaking a sweat and the cocktail hour and dinner music had everyone in high spirits!

All in all the night went way too fast and we look back on the entire events of our Wedding day with the fondest of memories and Del Sol was one of the key figures to help make that happen.
