Best Wedding Decision We Made!

Matt was nothing short of incredible, our wedding would not have been half of what it was without him! Planning our wedding during the COVID pandemic meant constantly changing our plans, but Matt never lost faith for how great our day was going to be. He spent so much time ahead of our wedding keeping in touch with us to make sure we were always on the same page. Prior to welcoming our wedding party into the reception, he took the time to introduce himself to our bridesmaids & groomsmen and offered his assistance or thoughts for anyone who needed it, we thought that was really special. We kept hearing from our guests how great our DJ was, and we couldn't say anything other than "isn't he the best?!" We put together a long list of songs for him to play at the reception, but gave him full permission to play whatever else he felt would fit in. He was able to read our crowd and play so many fun songs that kept everyone singing and dancing the whole time. We are so glad we hired Matt to be our wedding DJ, it was definitely one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process! You are sure to have a great time with Matt by your side!

Thank you Matt!

We had Matt as our wedding DJ in October 2020 and he was amazing. Not only was he great to work with leading up to the wedding, he truly understood our vision for our night and executed exactly to plan. Our wedding would not be the same if it wasn't for him. I didn't leave the dance floor all night, just how I wanted it to be! I definitely recommend Matt if you are getting married in the New England area!

Matthew made our wedding day so special. We never felt stress at all. He was so accommodating and me the whole day flow so well. He went above and beyond and helped us with not just the reception but the ceremony including the timing of when we should walk out etc. The music choices were amazing and they were exactly what I had envisioned. Awesome DJ!!

Matt was a great DJ to work with. He set us up with a shared google sheet to share our favorite songs and song choices with him and provided us a list of popular songs that we might want to include. He checked in with us throughout the planning process to make sure we were on track and was so helpful when we were setting up the timeline and order of events for the reception. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night - which was impressive with a six hour long reception!! He stayed until our venue's last call at 11:30 and made sure he read the room to feel the vibe and took requests from our guests. Guests have told us that he was one of the best DJ's they've seen. He came with all of his own equipment for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. I would not hesitate to recommend Matt!

Excellent DJ, Anchor of Stability, and Person

After hiring Matt, it quickly became clear he is wonderfully easy to coordinate with. Always quick to respond to any inquiries we had, while also not afraid to reach out to us, the couple, if we hadn't spoken in some time. This frequent interaction provided a peace of mind and confidence in Matt from the day of hire, all the way to the day of.

Matt is a fantastic DJ that kept our dance floor full for almost three full hours! But, in addition to his skills in the booth, Matt was the anchor to our entire day starting from the ceremony. He was flexible enough to accommodate and execute on every last minute request, change, etc. He was also willing to take the reins in order to provide structure, telling us where to be and when, when my wife and I just didn't want to have to think anymore.

The moment I realized we made the right choice in Matt, was after the ceremony, he found my wife and I, and told us we have about 20 minutes before we were needed again, he told us to go spend that time together. This gave us a chance to take a few deep breaths and collect ourselves so we were in the right headspace for the upcoming festivities. I cannot say enough great things about Matt, he was an excellent DJ for us, as well as a force of stability that allowed a lot of weight to be lifted from my wife and I's shoulders that day.

Amazing dj experience!

Matt was everything we were looking for in our wedding DJ and more! Matt was not just a DJ on our special day, but he was helping to make sure all the details were just perfect despite bad weather and an unexpected winter storm that forced us with no power for a while leading up to the big moments! As soon as the power went out, Matt got back up generators for his equipment and made sure that we had music during every moment. He facilitated our whole wedding, from introductions to the last dance song and he even helped to put an end to an unexpected speech. He ROCKED the dance floor and fed off of the crowd and took requests because we had asked him too. We didn't have an empty dance floor at all! It was perfect! Thank you Matt, for making our big weekend perfect!

Very Highly Recommend!!

When looking for a DJ for our wedding we knew we had to be picky because they basically set the tone for the party! After viewing Matt's website we emailed him and he was very prompt in responding. Since the first conversation with Matt we felt completely at ease and confident in choosing him for our wedding. He was super helpful and kept in contact with us frequently throughout the 10-12 month planning process, which really made us get to know each other which helped make our day so much more than we could ask for. Matt is very professional and experienced which made us confident that we would have an amazing time-which we did!! Matt was so awesome with the timing and music and the overall flow of the night, and not one guest that told us they had a great time failed to mention or ask about our DJ. Matt is amazing!

Matt was amazing to work with! From the first phone call, through all the planning and questions, to the actual wedding, he was there every step of the way. He gave us guidance for songs, suggestions when we asked, and knew so much about our venue, it was so helpful. Matt did a great job listening to all of our suggestions - so many guests told us it was the best DJ they have ever had (and I must agree) at a wedding. I can't recommend Matt enough!

Hiring Matt was one of the best decisions we made for our July 2018 wedding. Working with him was absolutely awesome, from our initial phone call until the last song played at our reception. Matt is incredibly friendly, personable, and easy to work with. This all translates into him being a great DJ and an awesome MC! He put us at ease throughout the entire process by answering questions and providing recommendations - not just for songs, but also for our ceremony and every part of the reception. Matt brings many years of experience, and he was very familiar with our venue, which made it easy for him to help talk us through the entire day. He provided a mic for our ceremony, which was critical because it was next to a river which was rushing from rain all week! He also provided music for the cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing at the reception. His song selection was excellent, and he based it off of the extensive song list we had sent him before the wedding as examples of what we liked (he took the time to go through each song), but he also took requests during the dancing (this was a huge hit with guests), and I'm sure he added in others he knew would go over well! When Matt announced that the dance floor was open, most of our guests rushed to the floor and literally didn't leave for the entire night. Matt knows how to read a crowd. There was maybe 1 song played that didn't get the whole crowd going, and he immediately changed things up and got everyone back onto the floor. In addition to DJ, Matt MC'd the reception and guided us through the entire night. He prepped our parents and the wedding party on entrances and toasts before the intros, and they were all at ease and knew what to do when the time came. He warmed up the crowd before our intros, let them know important information at the right times, and generally kept things moving at the right times! My husband and I had complete trust in Matt, and we were also out there dancing the entire night!

Matt was AMAZING and made our wedding the non-stop party we wanted it to be. He worked with us for months leading up to the wedding to make sure he knew 100% what we wanted and envisioned for all parts of the event. We were able to give him lots of song request and suggestions, but he also added in his professional input, and the combination made for the best wedding reception of all time (in my personal opinion). Our guests could not stop talking about the music at our wedding. It pleased the entire crowed of all ages (and with a 20 year age different in the bride and grooms parents, trust me when I say our crowd ranged from all over the decades)! It was important to us that the dinner and reception moved along and didn't allow for long lulls between things, and Matt made sure to make this happen. I'm not kidding when I say that our dance floor was overflowing people once that first song came on! Everyone was out of their seats and dancing the night away. If you're looking for a super attentive, flexible and FUN DJ...look no further because you have already found him in Matt!!

Matt was absolutely TERRIFIC! He exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond for our big day. Matt is so easy to work with, being so flexible and in touch with you throughout the wedding planning process. My husband and I felt like we were talking to a friend with every phone call and video chat! Matt makes it very clear that your wedding day is about you and emphasizes that couples do what they want. Thankfully, he has worked at our venue and with our other vendors several times, so the coordination between everyone was excellent - everything ran smoothly and perfectly! I would expect nothing less from Matt even if our venue were totally new to him. Matt seemed to understand exactly what we wanted for music right off the bat and worked with us throughout the wedding process to finalize the variety we were looking for. Matthew was awesome! The communication prior to our wedding made us feel relaxed and at ease the day of knowing that he had it under control. He was there for the whole event and walked us through all the details before hand so we new what to expect. He set up the microphones for the ceremony and then adjusted them as needed to make sure our guests could hear the entire thing. We received many compliments from our guests on the music selection and he kept everyone dancing all night long. Matt was great about reading the crowd any adjusting as needed.

Do not look any further than Matt for your wedding. My wife and I fell in love with him from a previous wedding and he did not disappoint for ours. He lets you set the tone of your wedding by having you pick your song lists (with very helpful recommendations once you've set a theme). Our dance floor was not once empty throughout the entire night. His price point is incredibly reasonable for the party he puts on. He even allowed our friend to play the banjo during the cocktail hour (not to mention bringing additional equipment just for this). You will not go wrong with Matt, my wife and I recommend him as setting the bar when it comes to wedding DJ's. Thank you so much Matt!

Anyone who looking for an incredibly fun DJ with extensive music knowledge, ability to read the room and great positive energy in the Mount Washington Valley need look no further than Matt Spofford! Matt was so helpful with the planning of our wedding day, we couldn't have made it through without him. We would highly recommend Matt to anyone. Following the wedding, a bunch of our guests asked for his information, because he was so good!

We spoke with Matt every month or so leading up to the wedding. He asked for a list of songs that we liked, and he wove them into the night perfectly. The dance floor never had a dull moment! We cannot say enough about Matt, he was amazing. HIRE HIM!!

Matt really listened to what we were looking for in the details for our wedding. We did many things that were unconventional and he shared his ideas and did everything he could to ensure they would work and be awesome.

We booked a DIY venue that lacked the staff of a traditional venue so we really needed someone that could emcee the night and that was Matt. He was fantastic, our guests danced all night, and I would recommend him to anyone.

Also, his services included the whole day. Not just a 4 hour window with additional charges for extra time like most DJs. He was there for pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, and the entire reception.

I couldn't have asked for more, he did an awesome job!

Matt was amazing on our wedding day! He was enthusiastic and kept our wedding going as our MC. Throughout our wedding day Matt provided many key electronic and personal touches. During our ceremony he set up a microphone for our readers and gave our officiant a lapel mic. He provided music during our cocktail hour and then had a wireless mic available for our speeches during dinner, as well as music for our musical toasts! Lastly, all of our wedding guests have come back raving about the music during the dancing part of our wedding! We, of course, had a blast, and couldn't have imagined it any other way. Matt truly was invaluable during our wedding day!

Matt was by far one of the best choices we made in regards to our wedding. He was so fast in responding, answered all of our questions and gave us some much needed recommendations to make our day go smoothly. He is truly a master of his craft. He was able to get people of every age up on the dance floor- and they stayed there all night long. There isn't a negative comment we could make about him. He was so friendly, open to ideas and made you feel like family. He truly made it feel like he knew us inside and out. He so easily went with the flow even when it started to rain. Not to mention that the price you pay is definitely worth the outcome. Matt could easily charge significantly more for his talent, yet his is very affordable. Matthew was wonderful and I am so happy I found him online. I was nervous because I had never met him before (I did a destination wedding in NH-- live in Tampa, FL) so I was purely going off my gut feeling and other couple's reviews online, which were all really positive. Matthew was very responsive the whole time and during the wedding he was very energetic and he really helped get everyone into dancing, etc which was awesome because my wedding was online 42 people! I cannot recommend Matt strongly enough! From the very first contact, Matt was super responsive, enthusiastic, and accommodating. If you are looking for DJ's stop, Matt is your guy. First a horror story, we were married at the top of a mountain, and the venue's wireless speakers weren't working. Here comes Matt with his cape swooping in to save the day! (He brought his own wireless mic and speakers up to the top!) Needless to say, we were very thankful, and we didn't even know that he had done that until the end of the night because it all went so smoothly.
Now for what everyone else has been saying about him, from the time we spoke with him all the way through to the end of the night he made it about us and about how we wanted our guests to remember the night. He didn't let one moment go wasted! We could not have imagined our wedding with out Matt. Thank you so much!!!

My wife and I just had a fantastic wedding weekend and we could not be more glad that we chose Matt to be our DJ.

We chose him after reading reviews and a get-to-know-you phone call in which he described his DJing philosophy, which was exactly what we had in mind. He was extremely communicative and friendly and when we met with him we brought him a long list of suggested songs that he built a game plan around. On the night of the wedding, he felt the room and played all the songs we wanted. The dance floor was filled from the moment he started playing dance music until the very end of the wedding, and he did a great job of working in music from all eras to get all ages moving and having a good time. By the end of the night, our guests started a "Matt! Matt! Matt!" chant from the dance floor because he had done such a good job.

He also did a great job of little in-between announcements that we asked him to make throughout the night.

If you need a DJ for your wedding, we would definitely recommend booking Matt!

Matthew Spofford was so fantastic to work with! From start to finish, he treated my husband and I as if we were old pals. We were planning our wedding from out of state and he was always willing to arrange Skype meetings with us to save us from having to travel. He was fun, energetic, and truly cared about making our big day perfect. Matt's pricing is also incredibly reasonable for what he gives you. Matt made our wedding day so fun, and the months leading up to it stress free! He was easy to work with, and allowed us to add as much or as little to determining the songs/style of the day as we wanted to. All of our guests had a blast, and he had basically every age group out on the dance floor. He's enthusiastic but not overbearing - just the right amount of actual talking during our reception. He obviously has a ton of experience and cares about making sure everyone feels included and has a good time.

He's also incredibly straightforward and transparent with his (very reasonable) pricing - no gimmicks, just told us what it was, which was a rare find among DJ's.

Matt is an amazing individual. Like many of the Mount Washington Valley vendors, friendliness is the first thing you'll recognize. Second to that is responses and response time. Third is he is just pure fun but professional. Being from out of state, we wanted our wedding to be perfect without having to travel for meetings. We also knew we wanted our wedding to be quite untraditional. When we brought these two things to Matt he was so flexible and accommodating. He sent over a 'typical' wedding playlist and when we realized we wanted something quite different he requested songs we'd like to hear played and then he took it from there. When we asked him if he could set up in 3 different locations we were met with "No worries!". When we asked if the father daughter dance could be 6-8 combined songs it was "You got it!". When we asked if he could make sure the chicken dance song wouldn't play, even if someone requested it, he said he didn't even know that song, nor did he have the track for it ;)

We are so happy that we chose Matt to DJ and highly suggest him. He's the type of vendor that after the wedding my husband and I were both questioning what else he could DJ for us!

Matt was a pleasure to work with! You can definitely tell he enjoys what he does! He provided music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Everything was timed perfectly and he didn't need a lot of direction. He encouraged us to be as hands on as we wanted or not which was great! I really appreciated his ability to draw inspiration from the small list of songs we sent him! He did a great job getting everyone on the dance floor and looked like he was really enjoying himself. He was available for phone calls to go over the wedding plans (even an impromptu call for a few questions I had!). Matt was fantastic!! The months leading up to the wedding, he would send emails to keep in touch asking how we were doing. He was attentive to detail, but not over baring. Gave us so many tips and suggestions and helped us chose our songs and really helped out in anyway he could! The day of the wedding all the songs were timed perfectly and all my guests danced the night away!! Could not have asked for a better and nicer person to help with our day!! Matthew was amazing! He really helped us through the whole process and was so flexible with our schedule. He has the amazing ability to read the room and play music that resonates well with the crowd. Everyone was dancing from the minute we opened the dance floor until the very last song. Our wedding was an absolute dream and it could not have come true without Mathew there to provide the sound track.

He's services are incredibly affordable, and he is available to you from the minute you sign the contract through the wedding and even after. He took some incredible footage of my new husband and I that we will treasure forever.

Matt DJ'ed for our June 27, 2015 wedding in our barn in NH. He was wonderful. We worked with Matt for our wedding on June 20th, 2015 @ Whitney's Inn, Jackson, NH.
Matt got to know us before hand (via Skype) and quickly learned what we were looking for in terms of music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and delivered exactly what we wanted. As a couple who takes their music very seriously, Matt earned our confidence immediately. Matt was very professional and easy going and a pleasure to work with. We knew that we did not have to worry about anything with him running the show! At the groom's request, he even let me behind the turn tables and spin one fun song, that came out perfectly and made for a unique, wild dance experience. We had more than one guest come up to us and tell us the music was the best that they’ve heard at a wedding.

White Mountain Productions absolutely deserves 5 stars as the overall rating because Matt exceeded our expectations in all categories. Matt was the DJ at my wedding recently. I could not have asked for anything more. He was so helpful and had great suggestions during the planning process. At the wedding he took care of everything, from before the ceremony to the last song. I did not have to worry about a thing. At the reception the dance floor was always full thanks to Matt. He knew what to play to keep everyone up there. Many of my guests commented on how great he was and how much they enjoyed the music. He played a few special requests for us but other than that we told him to just do what he does best, and he did. If you don't book him for your wedding you will be disappointed!

We hired Matt for our wedding in Jackson, NH and were extremely pleased. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Choosing Matt as our wedding DJ was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire planning process. Right from the start he provided us a tool to use to help pick out music and was very clear that he only wanted to play what we wanted to hear (which was great!). In addition to all of our suggestions, he also recommended some songs that he felt would engage our guests and he was totally right. My guests raved about what a good DJ he was; he was a fantastic announcer and he was just overall a fun guy. He was super organized and stayed on top of us the months prior to the wedding, which we definitely needed. Matt was excellent throughout the entire process. We had a longer engagement and the luxury of working with Matt over the course of an entire year before our wedding. Matt met with us initially to get to know us first, which really meant a lot to us. We worked together with Matt to build a customized play list of songs for our wedding. Matt Spofford is FABULOUS! We had guests on the dance floor that have either never danced or only dance upon occasion. Matt kept them on the dance floor the whole night! Our reception was a success because of his energy, attention to detail and ability to engage the guests. My husband and I own our own business making it a challenge for us to "let go". In other words, it is hard for us not to be in charge. Matt recognized this from the start. He truly made us feel at ease during the whole process. Matt was wonderful. He listened to what we wanted our wedding to be like, the music we wanted to hear and the pace of the event. He offered amazing suggestions to help us come up with a timeline for our day and also suggested certain songs we liked for certain moments. From the very first conversation I had with Matt, I knew he was going to be the perfect DJ for our wedding. We kept in touch with him frequently throughout the planning and by the time the wedding rolled around, Matt wasn't just our DJ, he was our friend! I don't know if people realize how much their DJ (if they are good) will guide and direct them throughout their wedding day... I am so fortunate to have had Matt Spofford as the DJ for my wedding on July 6th, 2013. I had interviewed a number of DJs during my planning process, and Matt was the only one that really clicked for me. The reasons are endless - besides being a truly wonderful person, friendly, caring and completely devoted to customer service, he is also a true professional and a master of his craft. Everyone at my wedding was raving about what an amazing DJ we had, and how it was by far the best wedding anyone had ever been to. I attribute a lot of that to Matt.

Throughout the entire planning process for my wedding, Matt was incredibly proactive - he has a very thorough process in terms of how he works with couples, sending out detailed planning documents and suggestions. He would check in with my every few months to make sure I didn't have any questions. Because of his diligence and proactive nature, as we approached our wedding, I felt like Matt and I were locked at the hip. We were completely and totally in sync with how the event should go. A few nights before my wedding, Matt and I spent an hour on the phone going over each and every detail of the reception, from pronunciation of names (difficult, Polish names which he got 100% correct at the reception!!), to music selection, timeline of events and special requests.

My wedding has a few elements that made it less than traditional. It was a Jewish-Polish wedding, with lots of odd traditions and music incorporated throughout the wedding reception. Matt was able to execute his role seamlessly with regards to these matters - he played the sort of music that my old, Polish relatives love, as well as the sort of music my friends and I love. He truly understood the 'pulse' of the crowd and kept the party going.

I highly, highly recommend Matt for DJ services at your wedding. He is a TRUE pleasure to work with, and amazing at what he does. I feel so lucky to have had him at my wedding!

From the first email to Matt to the last song played at our wedding, Matt was above and beyond the best DJ we could ask for. Matt is so organized and detail oriented, his song lists and ideas for song choices even up to the night before the big day, helped us out tremendously in choosing songs and a direction for our playlist. You can have the best wedding ever planned and have it all ruined with a bad DJ (we've all been to those weddings). But Matt was not that guy! He catered to every guests taste while also perfectly balancing what my husband and I requested to hear. I have no idea how he managed to keep all our older family members on the dance floor while our friends were requesting gangsta rap, but he managed to pull it off seamlessly! He is an excellent value for the money. It was sooo nice to have a DJ that handled every aspect of the music and announcements for the whole day/night and I never once had to worry about it. He also coordinated with the venue for everything which made the whole process even smoother. He made me feel absolutely confident it was in good hands...and it was!

Our only goal for Matt at our wedding was to get people dancing and give them a great time, which Matt fully succeeded in doing. Matt was great from the start and continued to be through the entire process of our wedding. Matt genuinely wanted to get to know us, from our music style and choices to how we first met. It really allowed us to get a good feel for each other and helped provide a dialogue for the wedding and this was all before we even agreed to work together. This dialogue made Matt very approachable when we needed help with song selections and discussing logistics, something Matt was very thorough about and helped give us comfort in knowing each step of the process. Another great thing about Matt was that he was willing to work with our music choices. When we selected some interesting songs Matt was able to work them into the evening impressing us and our guests. Throughout the evening Matt was communicative just enough to let everyone know what was going on but was mostly behind the DJ table letting the music play. Ultimately I think the true test of a DJ is what your guests say and everyone was very impressed with Matt and had an excellent time. I highly recommend Matt for his unique and personalized approach.

He had an extensive music catalog that he could alter to match the guests on the dance floor. He kept our guests on the floor all night with one great song after another. He also worked with our venue and photographer to create a sparkler exit that was such a memorable way to end our special day and communicated with the mother of the bride to surprise the bride and groom with a surprise song performed by the bride's sister and MOH. He was a great choice for our day and we would hire him again in a heartbeat.

From the moment we spoke with Matt we knew he was going to be amazing. He has such a love for life and has so much energy and passion for what he does. He spoke with us over the phone for almost 2 hours and asked us many questions as to how we wanted our wedding to look like. He was incredibly responsive with the many emails we sent out as well as accomodative to our requests.

He kept the party going all night and really listened to the crowd. The dance floor was honestly never empty! He wasn't an MC so he didnt talk at all except to get the crowd going in the beginning of the night to introduce the bridal party. He also provided all the sound system for the ceremony at no extra cost which was amazing!

We loved the music he played and his energy. Everyone had an amazing time and the music definitely played a big part!

Matt was the best DJ I have ever seen at a wedding. He kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night. He met with us in person and over the phone several times before the wedding to make sure we felt comfortable and that he fulfilled our wedding vision.
By the end of the wedding we felt like we were old friends!
Matt is prepared for anything! our quartette bailed halfway through the cocktail hour and he stepped in and took over the music without missing a beat.
I would recommend him without any hesitation!

Any bride & groom reading this should make any attempt possible to hire Matt. He hands down was the most flexible, creative, entertaining, and warm DJ we have ever met. I want Matt to play the soundtrack for the rest of our lives. He was fun, adaptable, listed to all of our questions/concerns/requests, etc. and above all else - kept the parrty going and our friends and family energized and on the dance floor. Matt somehow manages to be present and feel like a part of the family without being the overbearking/too talkative type of DJ that I personally can't stand. He is worth every penny and then some.

Matt was so much fun to have at our wedding! He was extremely responsive and checked in with us multiple times before our wedding. Matt was great about accommodating all of our crazy requests and eclectic tastes while keeping our guests happy and dancing. He focused more on playing songs than chatting, which was what we were looking for in a DJ. The only really minor issue was that we talked about spacing out the speeches a bit more than they ended up being, but it really wasn't a big deal and it worked out totally fine. Matt is such nice person to work with and loves what he does. He was nice enough to drive down to NH for our wedding and I would absolutely recommend him!

We cannot even begin to say just how pleased we were with Matt's work! Not only was the music great, but he did a wonderful job of coordinating the day to make it all a seamless transition. The best part was seeing him enjoy himself as much as we did. I think it set a tone that was emitted to the rest of the crowd that truly got everyone going. He truly did a phenomenal job. Also, countless guests raved about him and kept saying "And your DJ, he was GREAT!!." He is very attentive and professional. No complaints.

Our wedding day was something we will always look fondly back on and Matt helped make it exactly how we envisioned it and more.

Matt did an amazing job at our wedding in Jackson, NH. He was so easy to talk to. He contacted us the Thursday night before our wedding and went over all the details. He also checked in with us before the reception to make sure everything was going as planned. He kept our dance floor busy all night. You know your guests are having a great time when the last song ends and everyone starts yelling "More! More!" All of our family raved about him. Our one desire was that the dance floor stayed busy, and Matt delivered! We have nothing but great things to say about him!

We both couldn't be happier with DJ Matt's services. He promised a rockin' good time, and that's exactly what happened. Matt kept everyone dancing from the end of dinner to the end of the reception. Everyone we talked to praised Matt, saying he was one of the best DJs they had ever seen. The most common compliment was. "He really seems to love his job." Matt was an amazing dj for our wedding! He really knew what we were looking for as far as the music goes! Prior to our wedding, we met with him a couple of times because he really wanted to get to know us and our taste in music! He told us what he needed from us for song choices, and even helped us decide between songs when we weren't sure. He responded to our emails very quickly, which was really helpfull! Matt even came to the church to do our ceremony music for us! During our reception, we always had people on the dance floor thanks to him! He was able to combine different types of music to make everyone happy! He has a great voice for announcing, which was great!!! We couldn't of asked for a better dj!!!

From the very beginning, Matt seemed so excited about our wedding. We felt like he really just loves doing this. He was an absolute pleaseure during during the planning process, always getting back to us in a timely fashion and completely willing to accomodate everything we wanted. At the reception, he had everyone out on the dance floor long into the night-I've never been to a wedding where so many people danced! He also read the crowd perfectly-I've been to weddings where the DJ was sort of "cheesy" but there was absolutely none of that. He was absolutely joyous and it made our night. I had so many guests say what a great DJ he was. He was also the most inexpensive too actually. I interviewed about five DJ's-all charged at least double. However had I known what I know now, I would have paid double for Matt's servives if not more! I'd be happy to give any references on the phone or via email. Thanks Matt.

My husband and I booked Matt about a year before our wedding. Even though we were so far out Matt kept in contact over the year. By the time the wedding finally came we had everything already sorted out and we had no concerns about the music. Matt was very quick to respond to all of my emails and he even called the week before the wedding so we could go over every detail. The day of the wedding was perfect from the ceremony to the final dance. Matt provided both a lapel and a wireless mic for the ceremony which made everything seamless. At the reception the dance floor was never empty and the music selection was fantastic. We received many compliments about the music and everyone kept saying how much fun they were having. I would recommend Matt to all of my friends and family that are getting married. Definitely a great value.

DJ Matt Spofford was the best! My husband and I had a very small wedding and Matt was very accomodating for the amount of dancing time we planned to have. He was very helpful in choosing the right songs for cake cutting and closing out the reception. He played what we asked and everyone had a great time. It felt like he was part of the party! Matt was awesome!!! We could not have asked for a better DJ. He covered the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception and did such a great job. He was great on the fly with some scheduling changes, and made the transitions so seamless that we were the only ones that knew anything was different. For the reception, we had a lot of things that we wanted to pack in I was worried there wouldn't be much time for dancing, but Matt worked it all out so well, we danced for hours! And the music was so great, he really catered to everyone's tastes, people who were coming up to us on the dance floor trying to say farewell and ended up staying another hour or so because they couldn't stop dancing! I can't forget to mention what a genuinely nice guy he is too! We felt like he truly cared about helping make sure the entire day was everything we wanted it to be, and it was thanks to his great talent and efforts!

Matt Spofford was the perfect addition to our wedding! He was fun, flexible, and easy going. I was very impressed with Matt's attentiveness to detail and his quick responses to my e-mails. I had a wedding at an independent location that did not have a coordinator to create the flow of the day so Matt stepped into that role and made sure that everything transitioned well. The week prior to our wedding, he made sure to schedule time to call us and review the details and layout of the wedding which made us feel prepared and ready for our wedding. Matt definitely knows how to get the party started!! I had my ceremony outside and my reception inside and he was able to set up in both locations. He was able to play all requests. Matt is an amazingly nice guy and he's great at his job! He was on the same page as us regarding what kind of music we wanted played and what we didn't want. Matt Spofford is an all around wonderful person. Artistically, business wise, personally, everything. He gets five stars for all of these categories, without a doubt. But I wouldn't feel right solely reviewing him on these basic qualities.

Matt gave us his everything from day one, almost six months before our wedding. Upon sitting down with him, I immediately felt at ease with him. I felt that as a person coming from an artistic background, it was a huge disappointment not connecting creatively with other DJ's I had met with. But Matt was different. Matt is different. He understood me when I said I wanted him to create an environment where the majority of guests had no choice but to dance. I wanted him to play off their energy and elevate the level of fun, excitement and overall happiness of the day. And he did just that. But the beauty of it was, he barely, if ever, picked up the microphone just to hear his own voice, like so many DJ's love to do. His work was all through his music, and that, to me, is a true disc jockey. Our family and friends of all ages loved letting loose on the dance floor.

Matt exceeded expectations, he made our day that much more special. The only thing I would say against him is that he might not have made me a very popular bride with my guests. I literally never left the dance floor, and I'm sure my great aunts would have liked to have talked my ear off for a good hour or more.
But, hey, it was my day. And I'm glad I danced the night away.

So Matt, I thank you. I wish I had another excuse to hire you for another event. (Hey, there's always the vow renewals down the line)

Matt did a wonderful job djing our wedding. He was incredibly accomodating with our very proscribed song list as well as flexible with how the reception was playing out night of. He listened, offered good advice and was extremely professional. Matt also refused to play our do not play list.

Only question I wished I had asked about was lights that he uses later in the evening--I was not a big fan of the disco lights late night. That said, everyone was having a really good time by then so it didn't matter. I just have a picture of the cake cutting and there are various colored lights beaming on me. Not a big deal really.

Overall, Matt did a great job. I would highly recommend him to future brides looking for a flexible, affordable DJ who will make it about you and your groom not about what kind of event they want to have.

We hired Matt Spofford for our wedding in Jackson NH in September of 09. He came highly recommended from other brides and vendors in the White Mountain Area. From the first phone call, to the meetings, to the day of the event, Matt was super professional and our personalities clicked. We really did not have to do much....gave him a few suggestions and ideas and he ran with it...The wedding was such a blast and everyone was dancing, all night. When we first met, I was a bit stressed out because I had no idea how I was going to get the wedding to run smoothly. Matt immediatley eased my mind and took the reins. He took on both the MC and DJ duties and helped come up with a schedule that would allow my wedding day to run smoothly. On my wedding day things couldnt have gone smoother. Matt is very flexible and will take what you want and make it work. Because Matt is such an experienced DJ, he was able to read the crowd and play the music that would get everyone, young and old, on the dance floor.
Matt made my wedding day the best party I have ever been to. I have never danced so much in my life! I would recommend Matt to any couple that wants their wedding to be fun and a night to remember.
