Matt and his assistant were wonderful taking care of every detail in our photography throughout our wedding day! Matt was very professional, and captured so many perfect memories for us. He helped us every step of the way through our "getting ready" photo session, took the most perfect "first look" photos, just as we had imagined, recreated my parent's wedding photo for my husband and I, which meant the world to me, and took some of the BEST action shots at our reception! He even found and booked for us a great garden location to take photos in with our bridal party in between the ceremony and reception, and had a back up plan in place in case of rain. Overall, he made this process super easy to plan and helped our day to run smoothly. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an affordable, thorough, creative, and professional wedding photographer. -

Matt was amazing to work with. From our first phone call, he had infectious energy and I knew would vibe with us as a couple. During the actual day, he was tons of fun to be around. I even had guests comment about how nice a person he was! He totally understood what we were looking for -- a few posed pictures, but mostly candids and pictures that just captured the energy. The pictures turned out beautiful -- and this is just from the blog post. I am so excited to see the rest. On top of ALL of this (I only add this because it was important to be when I was looking for a vendor), his prices were so reasonable. I would HIGHLY recommend booking Matt!! -

Amazing photographer
Matt was amazing to work with on the day of our wedding. In the middle of all the chaos he was able to capture all the small and special moments. He was also able to get my 3 year old daughter to smile for most of the pictures - which is not easy to do.. We couldn’t have asked for anything more for our wedding photos. -

The best!!!!
Where do we even begin?! From the moment Matt showed up on our big day, he had the most positive attitude and friendliest smile. It's very obvious that he loves his work, which is so important! It also brings with it such a comforting vibe at an anxious time, that we really appreciated. Not only did Matt (And Chris!!) deliver perfectttt photos of our day and capture every last detail, but along the way Matt went out of his way to stop and show me a picture here and there, which I thought was really sweet. He certainly did not have to do that, but as a girl.. I certainly appreciated it lol! We were so blessed to have Matt and Chris with us, could not have dreamt up a better duo. If you want a photographer that is passionate about their work, delivers excellent photos, and is genuinely just a joy to be around.. look NO further!!! Just look at these photos! Thank you so much we will never forget you guys ! -

Wonderful work
The whole experience working with Matt was wonderful. He was super professional. He worked out a photo timeline before hand which kept us on schedule the whole wedding day. We had a last-minute day/time change and he was able to adjust his schedule to accommodate us. Communication was endless. He promptly
answered all our questions before, during and after our wedding day. The best part is, we loved all the photos he promptly delivered to us after a week or so.
We highly recommend him and we will gladly refer him to anyone that may need a photographer. -

Matt took the most incredible photos of our wedding day! He was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the planning process, professional, and kind to work with. He even remembered my special request to incorporate bubbles into some of our photos, and purchased a brand new bubble machine to make it happen! Best of all, Matt had almost 800 images ready for us less than 2 weeks after our wedding date! I simply could not have asked for a more amazing wedding photographer. -

From our first meeting, Matt impressed us with his dedication and passion for wedding photography. We chose to have our Engagement Session at Bushkill Falls, and not only did Matt happily agree to meet us there, but he went above and beyond to capture countless photographs throughout the location, for which we were delighted with the result!
Matt also clearly communicated what he needed from us before our wedding with a timeline checklist to make sure that our day went smoothly.
On the wedding day itself, Matt went above and beyond again. He tirelessly captured every precious moment, from our first look to the joyous dance floor antics to photos with our beautiful venue as a backdrop. No detail was too small, and he was always willing to go the extra mile to get the perfect shot.
We were particularly impressed by Matt's patience. With a large family and a lively group of friends, there were bound to be a few chaotic moments. Yet, Matt remained calm and collected, and still got the shot.
The final product was exactly what we were looking for. Matt delivered a collection of photos that perfectly captured the emotions of the joy and love from our wedding day. We wholeheartedly recommend him to any couple seeking exceptional wedding photography. :) -

We simply cannot recommend Matthew Scott Photography enough. During our phone interview with him he was incredibly friendly and accommodating and we knew at once he was the right fit for us. Matt was flexible, had incredible energy, kept us laughing, and was everywhere at once!! He captured everything, and the photos are absolutely STUNNING.
Matt sends out a blog-post with some sneak-peak photos pretty quickly after the wedding and getting to open that link was one of the most exciting moments related to our wedding. The turnaround time on all of the photos was incredibly quick and the pictures are absolutely breathtaking. Thank you again, Matt!! -

Wonderful Wedding Photography!
We chose Matthew Scott Photography to photograph our wedding on March 22nd, 2024. We can't speak highly enough of the job that he did for us. Leading up to our big day, he was communicative and helpful. On our wedding day, Matthew was an asset to helping make our day fun and memorable. Matthew and his photo shooting partner were easy going, friendly and a joy to be around. Our photos turned out so beautifully! We are so pleased to have these photos to look back on, for forever, to help us remember our special day. Throughout the process, Matthew was very timely and kept us up to date on the progress of the photos as they were being edited! We are so happy that we chose Matthew Scott Photography as our wedding photographer. I will be recommending him to any loved ones that are in search of a photographer in the area! -

Absolutely the BEST!
After hosting three previous wedding receptions, I finally hit the jackpot with Matt. I really can't say enough good things about Matt. He was not only a master behind the camera but also a true professional. He had ideas of pictures that we never would have thought of and I can honestly say there isn't a single picture that we do not like.
Aside from his amazing photography skills he is a great guy, so down to earth and friendly. It is obvious he loves what he does. Prior to the reception, Matt came to the hotel to take some "getting ready" pictures. My 2 year old grand daughter had an absolute meltdown and wouldn't cooperate with any of us with getting dressed. Matt had the patience of a saint, he was the only one who was able to talk her into getting dressed and even managed to get her to cooperate for pictures. It was obvious this was not his first rodeo with uncooperative toddlers.
I highly recommend Matt Scott Photography, you won't be disappointed.

A night we will always remember
Matthew was great to work with! He was fun, funny and easy going. He made our night so enjoyable and memorable! He captured so many moments throughout the night that my husband and I will never forget! We did not have to worry about a thing that day. He was responsive when we had any questions or concerns. He gave us input when we asked him but also let us choose the pictures that best suited us. He was very respectful to all the guests. Our families loved him and his passion for photography. Everyone complimented him on how beautiful the pictures turned out. He sent us our photos quickly! Matthew is an awesome photographer. You can tell he is passionate about what he does. Wonderful Experience
I can’t say enough good things about MatthewScott Photography. Matt did a great job communicating with me and answering any questions I had in a timely manner. Matt was very easy to talk to and was in constant communication with me. Despite all of the stress involved with planning a wedding I never had to worry because Matt was so reassuring. My wedding photos turned out amazing and he gave us so many pictures to choose from. Matt was very affordable and made sure I got the photos I wanted. I would highly recommended him! -

Matt was professional, fun and made everyone in my bridal party and my family feel comfortable. That is so important, especially for people like us who don't necessarily like having our picture taken. Even before the big day, Matt sent me a detailed schedule of how the day would pan out without even being prompted. He was hands down my best vendor to deal with because he was organized, responsive and made it so easy for me. The pictures were great quality and came out perfect. We got married in October and I find myself still going back through them because I love that he captured how much fun everyone was having and all the love in the room. And his prices really were fantastic for the amazing service you receive. I would recommend Matthew Scott Photography to anyone! -

1000X recommend!
Our wedding was in October and we absolutely loved having Matt there! He was everywhere! He got photos I never knew I needed. As well as super flexible with everyone at the wedding wanting certain pictures but also with me and my husband since we have three sides to our family his parents are split so everyone wanted specific photos and Matt was so calm and knew just how to handle it to get every photo we could possible want!! The photos themselves are amazing quality as well! I would recommend him a thousand times over!! We couldn't of asked for a better photographer. -

Best photographer ever!!!!!
I would HIGHLY recommend! We originally met Matt for our engagement pictures in 2019 and he was so fun we spent the whole day laughing and just having a great time. I knew I HAD to have him shoot our wedding! We were set to be married may of 2020 and when we got canceled due to the pandemic Matt worked with us into the next year! He was super flexible , understanding and accommodating. He’s an incredibly nice person and feels more like a friend you’ve known forever rather than just a photographer! We were so happy with our wedding pictures May 2021. He could not have captured our day in a more perfect way the pictures were better than expected and BREATHTAKING! If your looking for a photographer this is it! You will NOT regret! -

I cannot seriously say enough about how much my fiancé and I love Matthew Scott. I am very picky, especially when it comes to photos. I had searched aimlessly for months trying to find superb quality photos at an affordable price. Look no further. Matthew is everything! He made my fiancé and I feel completely at ease during our engagement session. He’s fun and easy going to work with. He ended up including more photos than he normally does in our engagement session because they were “too good to delete.” He had awesome engagement photo session location ideas. He also gave us recommendations as to where to get photos printed. Our families and friends went on and on about how awesome our photos are. I cannot wait until our wedding day. We are in the best hands possible! -

We found Matt through a recommendation from our venue and we are so happy we did. From beginning to end, Matt was professional, friendly, and helpful. Our pictures were one of the most important factors in the planning for us, and Matt let us feel comfortable that we were in good hands and we would have stunning photographs. Throughout the day, he was there when we needed him to be, and not in our faces. We hardly knew he was there, but that was a good thing! He even had a crochet hook to help button up my dress! I was worried the camera would be in my face all night while I was enjoying the evening, but Matt got the shots without being stifling. He was creative and helpful, and we are grateful he was with us on our big day. We definitely would recommend Matthew Scott Photography for your wedding day! -

My now husband and I had such a wonderful experience working with Matt on our wedding day! Matt reached out to us about two months prior to our wedding and took the time to learn about all the details of our wedding. He then provided us with a custom wedding timeline that we used to coordinate our wedding day. The day of our wedding Matt was with us all day and captured so many beautiful memories. Matt was absolutely fabulous to work with! He was great during the planning process and was very willing to help us decide on photo locations as well as help us develop our pre-ceremony timeline in order to get all of our getting ready, first look, family, & wedding party photos done in a timely manner and yet in a way we didn't feel super rushed throughout the process. Matt also did a great job of making us feel really comfortable during all of the photos, he is so personable and fun to work with- everyone in our wedding party loved him as well!
His editing turnaround time was incredible with a preview selection sent over 8 days later and our full gallery with over 900 photos done only 2 weeks after our wedding day! The images are a lovely variety of from throughout the getting ready, ceremony, & reception process, as well as the family & wedding party formals and our emotional first look images- all edited and some wonderful black and white selections! The hardest part of the process of working with Matt was deciding which photos we want to include in our album! -

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! Not only did Matt travel to Pittsburgh, but he was also super flexible with all of the locations I wanted to take photos at in the very short amount of time between the ceremony and the reception.
Matt was extremely easy and professional to work with; he responded to all of our inquiries within 24 hours and helped us feel at ease with all of our planning. Our photographer was one of the only vendors we didn’t have to worry about it!
We were very pleased with all of Matt’s pictures (and his turnaround time). His style matched our personalities quite welll and he provided us with a mix of edited black and white and color pictures. We cannot wait to print these out and frame!
If you’re looking for a photographer to help make your day memorable and less stressful, I highly recommend Matt! -

Not only did Matt take beautiful photographs, capturing all of the perfect moments, but he was the one reaching out to me to set up times to chat and with reminders for the day of. I have been to and in many weddings where they have hired a large team of photographers and they simply do not compare to Matt. My wedding day was exactly what I wanted and Matt played a huge part in that. I highly recommend him!!!

I'm not entirely comfortable with someone taking pictures of me, but I almost forgot he was there most of the time. Our wedding was (unexpectedly) pretty rowdy, and he had a lot to handle, as far as family, friends and reception, but he seemed to take it all in stride. We cannot say enough great things about his business, his talents, his style and his personality. 100% will be contacting him again for any events we have in the future, and 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a great wedding photographer.
