Matteo was absolutely amazing and played such a key role in making our engagement day special. From the very beginning, he made us feel completely comfortable, and his knowledge of the venue was impressive. I knew the photos would turn out great, but the results truly blew me away! Matteo captured the magic and emotions of the day so beautifully. Every shot was stunning, and he has an incredible talent for capturing those candid, heartfelt moments. I can't recommend him enough! -

Lake Como Wedding
We had the privilege of having Matteo capture our wedding in Varenna. Being from overseas initially communication was important, Matteo was always very responsive and available. More impressive was the quality of the photographs he took. He was able to capture so many amazing moments in a non-intrusive professional manner. Matteo is truly talented and so fun to work with! He makes your photoshoot feel so natural while truly capturing the best backgrounds and lighting so effortlessly! We are from Colorado and traveled to Italy and therefore had to book a photographer solely on reviews and galleries and it worked out SO WELL. We did one hour of shooting in the streets of Varenna, no reservations required because we opted out of private villa properties. The streets were STUNNING and we liked exploring a place we have never seen with Matteo who knows the streets so well. We did an additional hour on a boat rental out of Varenna and the combination and length was perfect! Also, Matteo is so responsive and easy to connect with via email even being in a different time zone. -

Planning a wedding from another country is always a challenge. My Partner Deb and I received a recommendation for Matteo and others, but Matteo's friendly manner, professionalism, and quickness in responding to our questions were key to us selecting him, and the style of his photos sealed the deal for us.
On the day Matteo was attentive and warm, putting us at ease, and had great ideas to help us capture the day in all its glory. We laughed and enjoyed our experience with Matteo, and he made sure by the time we were finished that all our ideas had been explored.
Matteo provided the finished pictures very quickly and we couldn't be happier. The quality was as expected, Matteo captured our day perfectly and we look back with fond memories of a beautiful location and day.

10/10 experience & RESULTS! My partner and I wanted the best photographer in Lake Como for our proposal, and I believe we found him. We had very high standards, and Matteo exceeded them with his excellent communication and professionalism. He helped us bring our vision to reality. I was a bit stressed out, of course, by the whole proposal, but Matteo put me at ease and allowed me to truly enjoy the moment with my partner.
BONUS: He knows the AREA really really well for the best angles! -

I hired Matteo to capture a very special and elaborate engagement, and I am happy to say that not only was the entire experience a delight, but Matteo actually played a key part in my pulling it off successfully. From the very moment I first got in touch with him he was incredibly helpful in every respect. I am particularly grateful for his help figuring out the logistics, from suggesting possible venues with their respective pros and cons, to helping with the scheduling to ensure we'd get the best light possible, and even helping select a specific boat to get the best pictures. Being from Canada, planning such an important and delicate event from abroad was a daunting task, and being able to rely on Matteo's expertise and experience as a local was invaluable.
Even though by the time of the actual proposal my partner strongly suspected what was about to happen and that we would be meeting up with a photographer, Matteo played his role in the "surprise" to perfection so that the moment I actually proposed to my partner was completely natural, and captured on camera as such.
I hired Matteo for a total of 3 hours covering 3 different settings, and for the entire duration of the shooting he directed us in a way that worked really well for us. We were very comfortable the whole time, and the pictures we got back are a testament to Matteo's excellent direction.
The pictures themselves are really lovely. I had requested a romantic, cinematic, vintage vibe and Matteo definitely delivered. He was pretty quick sending us a handful of previews a few days after the event and we were immediately excited to see more. He sent us a link to the full gallery within about two weeks and we were blown away by both the quality and quantity of the work. It's so good we're thinking of having almost all of it made into a book-format photo album in addition to getting a number of shots we particularly like printed and framed.
I am very happy with what we got for the price I paid, and I should add that communication with Matteo was excellent the entire time and that he was very responsive. -

Great Photographer
I felt so lucky to have Matteo as my pre-wedding photographer. He is so professional, responsive and helpful and put my overseas prewedding photo shooting at ease. Our train from Milan got cancelled and Matteo was so kind to give us a ride to Lake Como. We did not have very high expectation on the photos because the weather was bad but the photos turned out well. I strongly recommend Matteo to be your wedding photographer, he is the best! -

Matteo did an amazing job shooting our elopement in Lake Como. He was very personable and professional. We were a small group and he made everyone feel comfortable. He was so easy to work with and made our day extra special, not to mention the pictures turned out amazing!

Look no further than Matteo. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Matteo for a surprise proposal shoot in Lake Como, and I can't praise his skills and professionalism enough!! Matteo went above and beyond to ensure the proposal went smoothly. He took the initiative to speak with the staff at the Villa and even arranged the surprise shooting, going the extra mile to coordinate with the ticket office so that the whole moment remained a complete surprise for my partner.
