  Matt and his wife Tara are truly amazing photographers. They are great at what they do and capture all the best moments. They are also a blast to work with - very friendly and funny. They also take some very artistic shots, which come out so beautiful!

  Loved working with Matt and his wife, Tara. They are truly artists that have a great eye for cool, unique shots. I have so many beautiful photographs from our wedding day and the engagement session - I am more than pleased and would recommend them to anyone. Everyone that has seen our pictures has noted how talented these 2 are at catching beautiful moments on film.

  What an amazing photographer! The photos from the engagement session were like something out of a magazine. Matt is an artist and even climbs trees to get the perfect shot. The poses he did after the wedding were wonderful. Can't wait to see the finished photos.

  Matt was great! He worked with our personalities, and gave us a lot of flexibility. He really helped me stay within my budget, and gave me exactly what I wanted. The only reason I rated him a 4 1/2 on quality, is a lot of the pictures were taken diagonally, and not enough were taken of my mom, family, and step-dad. I would recommend Matt to everyone, just make sure you tell him what pictures you want captured.

  Matt and his wife Tara (TJaye) did an excellent job with our wedding photos! Matt is professional, warm, responsive, and an excellent photographer! The Theilen Photography dynamic duo took the most amazing, beautiful photos for both our engagement session and for our wedding. We received all of our photos on the timeline that was discussed and were totally thrilled with what we received. Our friends and family were all impressed with the quality of their work and the artistry. Thank you for the amazing artwork and memories of our happiest day!

  I was so unhappy with the results at my wedding. I should have switched after my engagement photos. None of the photos was near the quality that I saw when I interviewed him. The photos at my wedding were horrible. First off I asked him when I interviewed how many we would get and he said he takes about 1600 and we would probably get about 800. We got about 300 and at least 100 of those were the posed family photos. The posed photos looked so bad. We took them in front of the lake and the line between the mountains and the lake is literally cutting through my husbands head in the photos (photography 101 - don't let a tree branch stick out of someones head). They were all taken in exactly the same place and we look like we are standing in front of a screen. We have hardly any pictures from our reception and if people weren't on the dance floor then there are no pictures of them at all - including my husbands parents. Overall I though he was horrible. I thought I was getting a good deal but wouldn't wish this photographer on anyone. I'm so sad when I look through my pictures. My cousin seriously took more and better pictures than my hired photographer.
