I hate titles because I can't possibly sum up how happy we were that we hired Matt Ramos Photography for our wedding, but I decided "Best. Photographer. Ever." is the closest approximation.
Matt was an absolute pleasure to work with, as was Jacqueline. He was friendly, responsive, attentive, and so many other adjectives. He's so much fun to work with and really makes everyone around him so comfortable. He kept us laughing through our engagement photos and did the same with us, our families, and our wedding party on our wedding day. He quickly got acquainted with and worked seamlessly with our videography team. He and Jacqueline kept us calm, collected, and organized, even while we dealt with some inclement weather and a late hair and makeup team.
If you look on their website, I think the photos speak for themselves, but I can confirm from personal experience that our photos are absolutely stunning. He was able to capture the emotion of the day and the essence of everything we planned, even while dealing with our trickly lighting/window reflections and our cloudy, rainy day. The photos are so beautiful! Our album and parent albums are absolutely gorgeous as well. I never realized I could appreciate printed photos so much! The turnaround time for everything was so fast. They always far exceeded expectations in delivery times. We even had our initial photos so quickly that we were able to get our photo thank-you cards out to guests within a month of the wedding!
Photography was one of our top priorities and we couldn't have asked for a better photography team to get the photos we wanted. Highly, highly recommended!

Having been an out of town couple for our wedding, we had never met Matt before selecting him. Everywhere we went we kept hearing his name and how much his previous clients enjoyed working with him. All the vendors we chose spoke very highly of him. To say the least, we snagged him up as quick as we could. When we finally got to meet Matt ( a few months later) we couldn't have been happier! In every meeting he was not only very nice and easy to talk with but very knowledgable about the products and services he could provide. Everything from the album design to the day of details was user friendly for out of town couples. On the day of the wedding Matt was direct and thorough about taking BEAUTIFUL pictures! We were even able to join our guests for cocktail hour! Our pictures are better than we ever could imagined! It was beyond a pleasure and so much fun working with Matt on our special day! End to end, Matt Ramos & his wonderful crew did a stellar job with the photography of our wedding. Matt really runs the show when it comes to photography, setting up locations, giving solid direction, and those special 'must have' shots down to the details(he even fixed my watch!). Matt sought and took feedback well on what we wanted and how we wanted to do it, taking care to set the stage well and get every side(especially the good ones). I cannot recommend Matt Ramos enough and hope that he can, as he did for us, deliver the memories that you'll hold onto for a lifetime

If you would like a photographer that not only takes incredible photos, but listens to your priorities and is easy to work with, Matt is your man. Matt is extremely thorough in both his photography and his knowledge of the couple/families. Matt offered great suggestions and insights, but always allowed us to make the decisions. Everyone in the bridal party and on both sides of the family enjoyed working with him. That is rare! We love our photos and have no idea how we will choose for the album.

I saw some of Matt's photos awhile ago, so when I got engaged he was the one vendor I was sure I wanted. From the engagement shoot to the wedding day to a timely turn around on receiving the pictures Matt exceeded all expectations! He has a great eye for detail and knows what will make a great picture and makes getting your picture taken fun and easy! I would highly recommend him!

My husband and I hired Matt Ramos for our wedding this past June and it was the best decision we made! From our first initial meeting, Matt took the time to truly get to know us as well as "iron out" many of our wedding day details. It was extremely comforting to have a professional to bounce ideas off of and ask questions. What makes him even more amazing is his artistic photography style. We fell absolutely in love with all of our engagement and wedding photos, providing us with beautiful memories that will last a lifetime! Matt made our wedding day absolutely FANTASTIC! We had a massive bridal party (16 bridesmaids and 11 groomsman). Matt was able to capture great shots while maintaining a fun and laid back attitude. Matt Ramos is the best of the best at photography. We used him for both our engagment photo shoot and our wedding day and we could not be happier with our choice. Not only do his pictures come out breathtakingly beautiful, but he also makes you feel comfortable while they are being taken. For example, he makes jokes when he wants you to laugh to ensure that nothing looks forced and it works every time. He also took the time to make sure my realitives were happy, taking beatuitul family portraits for their own family albums with our consent. Lastly, we ordered the photobooth he offers with the print out pictures and all of my guest, young and old, loved it! People were in and out of the photobooth all night long using the props and posing with friends and family. The best part? Andrew and I got a flashdrive with all of the photos on it so we got to enjoy the pictures that we were not there to see. I highly suggest you book with Matt Ramos for your big day becuase he is worth every penny!

My wife, Jennifer and I hired Matt Ramos Photography under some pretty interesting circumstances. We had originally hired a different photographer (to remain nameless) and after our engagement session realized that the service being provided was “extra-ordinarily awful”
We subsequently fired that individual and met with Matt Ramos – immediately we fell in love with his personality and work. In my opinion, the most important factor in deciding on a photographer – or any wedding professional for that matter is “PERSONALITY.” On my wedding day, he was able to capture moments based on his ability to make us laugh and feel comfortable throughout the entire day. Even Jamaica, his assistant was awesome. Within a week (while we were in Figi) he had teaser images up on his blog for us to see. That was so nice. He literally made us feel like we were his only client, even after our event was over. It’s so important to choose someone passionate about what they do with Matt it’s more than obvious!! I would highly recommend using Matt Ramos for your event – You are guaranteed to have a spectacular time and the beautiful images will speak for themselves.

We could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding day! Matt was so personable and professional and took absolutely fantastic photos. Our wedding party and family loved him - he made everyone feel so comfortable throughout the day. And, he stayed calm despite complicating factors like rain during our first look. Leading up to the wedding, he was very responsive and thorough whenever we had questions. I truly do not even think Matt needs this review from me because his photos speak for themselves! He is the absolute BEST wedding photographer ever...in the entire world...ever. I honestly feel blessed that my husband and I have genuine, Matt Ramos photos of our wedding! He works some sort of camera magic to capture ever single, perfect moment! Matt and his team are so good that I feel like they should be screening couples rather than the other way around! If Matt has your wedding date available, you need to book him now! Actually, book Matt and then pick your venue based on his availability! Seriously...he is that good. We got flash drive with all of the photos Matt took on our wedding day. I recently sat down to make a separate folder called, "Favorite wedding photos." When I was finished dragging and dropping photos into the "favorites" folder I had copied all but maybe five from the original flashdrive, and actually it literally pained me to not include those five! Aside from having the best wedding photos in the world, we could not have asked for a cooler guy to be following us around on our wedding day. We cannot wait for our next big life event so that Matt can take photos of it!!!!

Matt and his crew are simply amazing! They are so friendly and make you feel so comfortable, while also ensuring you are staying on schedule. My husband I worked with Matt when we were in the wedding party for our friend a couple years before our wedding and we instantly knew he was our guy once our time came. He makes you feel like you've known him for years and is there to support and answer every little question along the way. We never had to pay attention to the clock as Matt ensured we were staying on track with timing, and directed our large group from the moment he arrived. Our friends and family all got along great with him and he truly added to the fun of the day. The pictures he delivered caught every detail and then some and we could not be more pleased with his work. He was able to direct us in a way that he knew would capture the best shots, from poses to lighting to breathtaking backdrops. We have never met someone more talented and knowledgeable about photography than Matt and his team. Where do I begin? Matt is the most professional and talented photographers I have ever seen. When I first started looking up photographers I felt overwhelmed and I thought to myself how am I supposed to know what a good picture looks like, they all look the same. I came across Matt Ramos Photography and instantly knew he would be our photographer and we couldn't be happier with our choice.
Matt is incredibly professional and very responsive. I am very type A and also email happy and he responded every time in a timely manner. He answered all my questions and worked with me carefully to work out a time line for our big day. He was honest and didn't push us on things just to make a buck. His pictures are amazing and he captured every detail of our wedding. The most incredible part of the experience is that he was like a phantom. He was not intrusive at all in any parts of our day, yet he nailed every picture that we wanted.
I love my pictures, and the experience was like no other. You know what they say, you get what you pay for... money well spent!

We got married on 8/14/15 at Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake and we are so happy that Matt was our photographer. We were big fans of his work which we had viewed online even before we had booked our initial meeting. Once we met with Matt the first time, we knew we had to have him as our photographer. Not only is his work amazing, but he is awesome. He definitely knows his stuff and his friendly, down to earth personality is awesome. We had the amazing opportunity to work with Matt for our engagement photos which came out beautiful. He made us feel so comfortable and he captured so many amazing shots.
For our wedding, Matt and his team did an amazing job. We have only seen one teaser from our wedding so far but if the rest of the photos are even half as amazing as the photo we saw, they will be fantastic (and knowing Matt, we are sure they will be). Matt worked so well with our large bridal party and families. It was great because we could trust him to get all of the photos that we wanted and many more that we would never have thought of. The photos he captured at night in the rain could make any couple hope for rain on their wedding day.
Matt brought two of his associate photographers with him and we could not have asked for a better team to work with. Jacqueline and Tyler were great. Jacqueline went above and beyond for me, doing jobs that weren't even photography related. She put heel protectors on my shoes so they wouldn't sink in the grass and carried the train of my dress so it wouldn't get wet in the rain (while she got poured on). We appreciate everything that Matt, Jacqueline and Tyler did for us for our wedding and will be recommending them to everyone we know who is looking for a photographer. Mother of the bride here. Planning a wedding is a long and stressful process, and it’s frustrating when vendors are not responsive. Not Matt. He answers emails and texts promptly every single time! Before the big day he helped us with the wedding timeline and on the day of the wedding he made sure we were on schedule every step of the way. Even after the wedding he was amazing. My daughter received her wedding pictures within a very short time and once she selected the pictures for the wedding album, the album was delivered promptly, and it is beautiful!! Matt is the ultimate professional. The quality of his pictures is amazing and I highly recommend him!

We had a winter wedding (1/11) and we were hoping for snow, but instead it turned out to be snowy on the ground, but 40 degrees and raining. Matt was able to capture absolutely gorgeous pictures (from what we have seen so far) with the fog and the conditions we had. We cannot wait to see the rest when the album is done! Matt showed up early, stayed late, walked through puddles and got rained on all to ensure we got all the shots that we wanted. Both him and his assistant, Jamaica, were very friendly, reassuring, and professional. We definitely would recommend Matt!

To say that Matt came to our rescue is an understatement! Its was every bride’s worst nightmare, a few days before my wedding my photographer called to tell me that due to situations beyond their control they would not be able to shoot our wedding but in the same breath said I was able to find someone to take my spot. The first thought that went through my head was that I was getting someone who wasn’t that good given all of the good photographers had to be booked. My photographer assured me that Matt was the best around and that I was in good hands. I trusted her but was still a bit hesitant. 5 mins later my phone rang and it was Matt, the minute he started talking, I realized that everything was all going to be ok! Matt, knowing what I must have been feeling, was so professional and caring that all of my fears disappeared. The day of my wedding when I met him for the first time, I knew that it was by the grace of god that this man wasn’t booked the day of my wedding. Our pictures are AMAZING and knowing how Matt stepped up and came through for us and for our original photographer, show his true character, he is one of a kind and we are so lucky to have had the chance to work with him!

Matt and his assistant Jamaica were awesome. We had a really awful weather day. Just brutal. Cold and windy. Icy and puddlely ground. Sunny one second, cloudy the next. Hair flying everywhere. Men pretending the weather wasn't affecting us. You get the "picture". Anyway, Matt was a rock star and damn if we weren't glad we went with a proven professional rather than choose to save money on photography. He skillfully kept shifting people in and out of warmth, quickly getting the shot when he could while taking care to not rush it by keeping everyone focused on something other than how cold it was just long enough to get his perfect shot. The dude was laying on the cold, icy street at night to capture me and my bride with a full moon behind us. He's a freak of his trade. You can't control the weather you get on your wedding day but you can control who you hire to deal with it. Hire Matt and don't even bother watching the weather. It won't matter. Can't freaking wait to see what magic he created.

Matt and his team have been amazing throughout our entire planning process! From our Engagement Photos to our Wedding Photos, Matt’s work was beyond expectations. The quality of his images is flawless. Matt has been accessible and responsive any time we have needed advice or help and was always honest and professional. We received the proofs of our Wedding Photos this week and we cannot stop looking at them! Each time we look at them we feel as though we are reliving our wedding day through his photos; which captured the feelings and emotions of the day. Not only did Matt capture heartfelt moments between my Husband and I, but candid moments of our guests that might have gone unnoticed and otherwise passed us by. Wow where to even begin...we had been planning our wedding for years...literally, years. Matt was our #1 choice in photography since we had researched his work. When we postponed our wedding a few times, he was extremely supportive and just a great guy to work with. Part of our decision to get married on the date we did was because of his availability! Now that we have worked with him on our special day and have seen all of the photos, we are blown away by how perfect they are. Hands down the best photographer in the capital region...and farther.

Matt Ramos photography is absolutely TOP KNOTCH. We used him for our engagement session and wedding and it was the best. My husband was a little nervous about getting his pictures taken professionally, but Matt made him feel so comfortable and the pictures turned out amazing! My husband and I spent a lot of time researching photographers for our wedding. We tried to find a style that matched our own. We were in awe of Matt’s work. We live in Indiana and Matt was super accommodating with setting up a phone interview. After the interview we knew we definitely wanted Matt and team to capture our day. We met with Matt s month before the wedding to go over day of details and create a flexible itinerary. This helped keep all my other vendors on schedule. Matt and Jacqueline did not disappoint. We already had high expectations based on Matt’s past work. He exceeded all expectations. The photos are absolutely breathtaking. Matt was a blast to work with. He kept everyone on schedule and had a great balance of professionalism and humor. My only problem is not knowing which photos to hang on the walls - a great problem to have! Matt, thank you so much for being a part of our day! You rock!

Matt Ramos is hands down the best decision we made in planning our wedding. The quality of Matt's work speaks for itself but what most impressed us was Matt's character. What sets Matt apart from others in his field is his ability to interact with the Bride, Groom and bridal party like he has been a lifelong friend. He puts everyone at ease and captures everyone at their very best.
He is able to work with every budget and build a custom package that fits your needs. Matt's only concern is to produce the best images of your special day and never sells you anything. Matt was even willing to drive out of his way to pick up our flowers with less than 24 hours notice!
The focus of your wedding should be the bride and groom (in that order). Matt does a great job achieving this and really enhances your wedding day. We found the times he pulled us out of the reception hall to shoot with Matt and his amazing assistant "Jamaica" are some of our favorite memories from that day.
Planning your wedding is such an expensive, time consuming and stressful process and all the build up leads to a day that disappears in the blink of an eye. You only get one chance to capture those special moments and I couldn't imagine putting that trust in anyone but Matt Ramos. Incredible photographer, even better human being.

I cannot say enough good things, or strongly recommend Matt Ramos as a photographer. His talent and ability to aesthetically capture a series of “moments” with varying emotions and beauty is undeniable. Not only do the subjects of his photos look great, but the layout of his shots are a thing of beauty.
When my husband and I were first engaged and discussing our initial wedding budget, we discussed which areas made the most sense to financially emphasize. One of the best decisions we made was splurging on photography. The value that Matt and his associates bring to the table is huge, and I cannot strongly recommend his services.
At our initial meeting with Matt he took the time to discuss important details for the big day. From there, we met with Matt and his associate John Michael to do our engagement shoot. I would highly recommend this to every engaged couple. Not only did the pictures come out amazing, but this was a great opportunity to work with Matt and get used to being photographed. This shoot helped my husband and I get more comfortable “in our own skin”. The pictures were amazing, we have them displayed, and on top of that it was a fantastic “pre-wedding” romantic date.
When it came down to our wedding day, Matt and John Michael were incredibly amazing to work with throughout the entire day and night. As a professional Matt is very organized, and has an uncanny ability to be a calming presence while making sure that timing remains on track. He was a pleasure to work with. Matt made sure that we captured all of the family shots that were important to us. Additionally he was great at capturing candid little moments that as a bride you never want to forget. There were so many times during the reception that something would happen, I would smile and think “it would be great if we got a shot of this”, and without fail Matt had captured it for us. It is clear that Matt has a strong artistic vision, and he is very easy to be around.

I am from NYC and our wedding was in Saratoga Springs, being from out of town Matt suggested the locations for pictures in between and they came out great. He set us up with Jess, one of his associate photographers, and as soon as we met her and saw her work we knew we had found what we were looking for. As a business, they are thorough, professional, responsive, understanding and their work is nothing less than outstanding. As people, they are just awesome. Where to even begin!!! Matt has been fabulous since day 1. We had a meeting with him right after me and my husband got engaged back in January of 2014. Within the first 5 minutes of our meeting we both knew he was definitely going to be perfect for our wedding. We ended up using him for our engagement pictures to, and was so much fun to work with. He is very easy going, and really cares what you want out of the sessions. It is so fun to follow all of his social media, and pictures leading up to your big day as well. When the day of our wedding finally arrived, he showed up early, got a feel for the the surroundings, and mapped out for us the best place for our first look! it was all just perfect, and I would ONLY recommend Matt Ramos and his team to anyone for professional photography. Matt is great! Our first meeting with him was great, he was friendly and upbeat. He answered all of our questions and even offered other information that we didn't ask. When we left that meeting, we got in the car and both said, lets book him! We did't want to meet with anyone else. Matt was already booked for our wedding day, so we had his associates Jess and Chelsea and they were AMAZING! When we got to the hotel, we were walking down the hall and I could see these two girls laughing and taking "selfies". I knew they were going to make this a fun experience! They were so great with our two nephews, the youngest who is three, loved them!! They did such a good job and it took less than a month to get our pictures! We did get married before the height of wedding season, but I think even if you did get married when it is busy, it still wouldn't take very long to get your pictures! The one place I wasn't going skimp on was photography, I fully believe you get what you pay for. I know some people who got married around the same time I did and they are now just getting their photographs, but they skimped on their photography! Matt, Jess and Chelsea were great and I love my pictures and I will always have them to look back on our special day! You won't regret working with him, Matt is wonderful!

We were so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Matt and his team on our wedding day. Not only did he help us keep our cool as the day progressed, but we KNOW he captured some really awesome photos along the way. I don’t think there will ever be enough words to describe how amazing Matt and his photos are! I waited 5 years after first seeing one of Matt’s weddings before I got to be a Matt Ramos Bride and it was so worth the wait. His photos are stunning, and he catches every single moment, even those you don’t realize are happening! However, it’s his personality that makes him so wonderful. He is very calming, energetic, and friendly. During the planning process, he will walk you through every moment of the day, so there are no questions of where to be when. On the wedding day, he is insanely efficient and keeps everyone on schedule. As the bride, you never have to worry about a thing! He has it all covered. Matt is also incredible with the guys, who usually aren’t as excited about posing as the ladies are! Kyle and his groomsmen had a blast with Matt, who made it absolutely painless for them. I had been talking about Matt’s photos and showing his weddings to literally everyone I met for years, so the pressure was on, and when we received our photos they far exceeded our very high expectations! Getting 1300 photos from our best day ever was the most incredible gift. It has been three months and our guests are still talking about how amazing our photos are. To me, the photos are the most important investment, since they are what you have to look back on forever. I can’t imagine trusting anyone else with that job except Matt Ramos.

We were so fortunate to book Matt Ramos for our wedding day. When we first met with him 8 months before the wedding we knew there was no other choice. His personality and professionalism through the planning and event went above and beyond. He made sure to get to know us as well as our venue before the big day.
On they wedding day, despite the rain, he showed up early just to make sure everything was set and organized before starting his photos with the bride/bridesmaids. His assistant also did a fantastic job capturing shots of his own while Matt focused on the larger groups. He worked wonderfully with the whole bridal party and families to make sure everyone was comfortable and knew where to be. As the ceremony went on they were able to capture so many wonderful moments, and small details, for us to look back on and share with friends and family. The couples photos with my wife and I were excellent. Matt found some perfect locations around the venue and used the rainy weather to his advantage. The fact that there was only him and his assistant cannot be stated enough, you would have thought there were dozens of photographers. They were able to capture all of the wedding seamlessly.
He was quick to get us proofs after the wedding, despite being bust in wedding season. Within the next month he sent flash drives to use as well as our parents. Along with that we can work further with him to order an album and do any additional edits, though I doubt we will need them as the photos we received we perfect. Matt's prices were fair and we were able to choose a package that easily fit within our budget and allowed us to choose high quality photos of our favorite shots. Sarah and I cannot recommend Matt enough. Pure professionalism and will handle all of the needs necessary.

Matt is the absolute best! My mother saw his work years ago and said she knew he would be the guy who would photograph my wedding. From the very beginning Matt was completely honest with us about the entire process and he made it so easy. He worked with us to make a timeline for the day and recommended other vendors to us. Our pictures are amazing, it has been over a month since we got them and we still can't get over how perfect they are! Matt knew all the best spots to get amazing pictures and he made everyone laugh. My husband hates getting his picture taken and he had so much fun and loved every second, he couldn't wait to get all our pictures back! Matt is what every couple dreams of for their wedding vendor. I wanted timeless photos for my wedding that didn’t look overly edited, and I had a downtown wedding but didn’t want all the photos to look super urban. Matt is incredible at finding a random doorway or a few feet of greenery and turning it into a magazine-worthy photo, which is what led me to reaching out to him. Upon talking to Matt for the first time, we knew we absolutely needed to book him. He goes above and beyond in every single aspect of the wedding, and he does so happily. He talked to me for countless hours before I even booked him about vendor recommendations, decor, planning ideas, you name it. He was always extremely honest as well, which we loved and appreciated. He truly wants your wedding to be the best it can be and for his clients to be happy. Matt and his team (Jess in our case) showed up early on our wedding day with a great attitude and had everyone around them laughing all day. Matt will help you pose and remind you to lift your chin up so you don’t end up with the dreaded double chin photos, all while making you feel confident, producing flattering and gorgeous photos. He also sent us a ton of gorgeous teasers after the wedding, and had an quick turnaround time for the wedding photos. My husband and I have been thrilled with everything from Matt’s reliability and dedication to his end product. Matt exhibits the highest level of professionalism imaginable and we can’t recommend him enough.

While I didn't shed a tear on my wedding day, I had to fight back (good) tears while seeing our pictures for the first time. My husband and I were blown away! As many brides know, the day goes by so fast and Matt captured every moment so perfectly -- I can't stop looking at the final results :) I couldn't have picked a better photographer to share the day with...Matt was so down-to-earth and handled our large wedding party with such ease. We knew we wanted Matt Ramos before we were even engaged, and he was the first vendor we booked. My husband and I both knew going into our wedding day that photos would be the most important thing we had left when it was all said and done. I can honestly say we choose our wedding day around Matt’s availability, and it was the best decision we made!
We always knew Matt had vibrant, crisp photos, as well as a natural talent for finding angles, reflections and light. But when we first spoke with Matt on the phone, we realized he would become the biggest key to the day running smoothly. Matt helped us find other vendors - as he has worked with just about everyone and knows who can help make the day perfect. He literally made our day of timeline - and kept us organized and on schedule day of. He was so much more than a photographer - he was basically a coordinator also. Matt spoke with us on the phone a few times before the wedding to make sure he knew which shots were important to us. He was able to make my camera shy husband comfortable, as well as direct us in a calm, respectful way throughout the day.
Matt posted some teaser pictures as soon as two days after the big day - and they were everything we hoped for and more. We cannot wait to see the magic he created! We LOVE you Matt (and Sarah too)!

Matt Ramos is a talented and professional photographer. We were thrilled with all of our wedding pictures. He has a great sense of what backgrounds look good in pictures. He picked the perfect spots in my parents yard for my bridesmaid pictures. I never would have even noticed the area he chose for our pictures, but it was perfect. My dad is a wedding photographer and he knows who is the best in the business and since he had to walk me down the aisle he knew we had to have Matt Ramos as our photographer. We couldn't be happier with our pictures.

Matt and his team saved us from some trouble we had with our last photographer and worked with us to make sure we had amazing coverage of our day. We have only seen a few teaser images so far, but they have taken our breath away. He made my husband and i feel so comfortable the day of our wedding and really has an amazing eye for detail.

I love our photographs. LOVE. Matt was absolutely amazing through our whole process. My family loved working with him, he was polite, and he moved everything along smoothly. But, most importantly, he has that "it" thing that he captures in his photographs, the thing you can't put your finger on, the magic in the moment. There are two people poised to set the entire tone and flow of your wedding day - your photographer and your DJ. Matt and Jacqueline not only take exceptional shots, they are also a calm and professional presence throughout what can be a hectic day. Before contacting Matt, we extensively researched the portfolios of photographers in the region, and Matt"s work was the best hands down. He was also efficient, insightful,and professional as we prepared for our wedding. Matt was such an awesome photographer to work with. He always made my husband and I feel important and comfortable. Matt had a very large bridal party to work with the day of the wedding, which can be very challenging. However, he was up for the challenge and was able to take every single picture we wanted. We still don't know how he did it! Different people from my party came up to me saying how much they loved him as a photographer because he knew exactly what he wanted. Not to mention his assistants were just as fantastic! I would recommend Matt without any hesitation, as he is quick to respond to emails, very professional, flexible to work with, and has a great sense of humor which is needed to make your day even more special and enjoyable. Where do I even begin?! Anyone from the Capital Region knows Matt is the BEST photographer around and we booked him first so everything else went around him. He took the time to meet with us on multiple occasions and made is feel so important! He arrived early on the wedding day and was with us for 11 hours and was upbeat and fun the entire day. He may have been our biggest cheerleader all day! I have only seen a few teasers so far but all I can say is "WOW!!!" Worth every damn penny and anyone who doesn't have him as their photographer is missing out.

Matt blew out wedding photos out of the park! We knew he was the best in the area but never did we think the photos would turn out like dream photos ...the shots are so unique and us! He was so easy to work with and made everyone super comfortable...all my bridesmaids and family are now obsessed and will be his next clients. Matt and his team are phenomenal. They weren't on time, they were EARLY!! Which allowed them time to meet the bridal party, my parents, and make everyone feel comfortable before we started easing into everything. He amazed me every step of the way with his creativity, talent, and passion for what he does.
We also had Al Woodard (equally as amazing) for video and it was obvious they have worked together before - everything was seamless! Everyone thought Al and Matt were part of the same team, they had no idea we hired them separately.
Words can't describe how happy we are we chose Matt, if we had to do this all over again, we would choose him every time.

You can't go wrong with Matt Ramos and his team. We were based in NYC when we booked but were looking for a local vendor for photography. We absolutely adore and cherish our wedding photos! I booked his shooters Jess and Jacqueline for our October wedding about 1.5 years in advance (Matt was booked, just fyi for those of you interested... these guys get booked quickly!), and have zero regrets. They are truly a talented, wonderful team! A+ on responsiveness and professionalism. I communicated with Matt throughout the entire planning process, and he was always available to talk and super responsiveness and I consider myself pretty type A about that sort of thing! We exchanged emails, had phone calls and an in-person meeting which I highly recommend - we went over the specifics around our who's who for our wedding, what kind of shots we wanted and specific shots we wanted. The team was so flexible given they'd only shot at our venue once before!
If you're looking for stunning photos that will focus on you and make you look your best, are more commercial-oriented, with amazing lighting... go with Matt's team. They have the right mixture of style, and the ability to capture great portraits but also the candid "photojournalistic" moments you won't even notice but will cherish. Our day had rain, but the team were great sports and worked with us to make the most of it! Jess and Jackie were so great; showed up early on the day and were so patient as we were running behind on our timeline. We also received our photos in a timely manner - both an online link as well as a flash drive of photos and a teaser on their social media feeds :).
Also... for anyone who's thinking this, our wedding was outdoors at a barn in the countryside, and so I just wanted to put that out there for versatility since I think many of the wedding they shot have a different, more formal feel. Love Matt and his team!

One of the best decisions I've ever made
I had originally booked a different photographer earlier on in my engagement and when we decided to change our venue to SNGC, Matt's photos kept popping up in our vendor searches. One night, I couldn't help myself and reached out to him, knowing that I would regret it if I didn't, a decision that I am forever grateful for. When planning our wedding, we agreed the photography was where a large chunk of our budget would go. Upon researching photographers separately, Matt's photography was at the top of both our lists! He was down to earth, very easy to work with - quick response time, and very helpful in explaining many things wedding related! My husband and I don't get our pictures taken often so we needed guidance on our wedding day. Matt patiently told us how to pose and what to do. Some shots were uncharacteristic of how we usually interact with each other, but he was using his expertise to "get the shot". Throughout the ceremony and reception, Matt and his photographers were out of sight and out of mind so we did not feel like there was paparazzi following us around. He was also sure to get our portraits out of the way before the ceremony so we did not have to miss a beat at our reception. After receiving the pictures, we are very happy with the quality and quantity. We regret not having Matt stay until the end of the reception to capture a lot of the fun moments that happened during that last hour. Overall our day is beautifully documented! We would definitely recommend hiring Matt and his team.

Most of my friends would describe me as picture happy. Everywhere I go I am the one to document the event. So when I got engaged the first thing I looked into booking was my photographer. The pictures were one of the most important things for me and I need to book the best. After tons of research I decided to interview what I considered the top two photographers in the area. Both took amazing pictures but after meeting Matt, my now husband and I decided he was the perfect fit for us. Booking him almost 2 years before our wedding we knew early on we had made the right choice. He came down to NYC for our dream engagement photo shoot in central park (a 3 hour drive) and the pictures came out amazing. I knew then our wedding pictures were going to be amazing. On my wedding day I was so excited when he arrived with his team. Not only is he an amazing photographer but a wonderful person. Hands down the best photographer you could hire! After following his wedding blog online for months, my husband and I were sure we wanted to hire Matt to capture our wedding day. He was actually the first vendor we booked, even before our venue. Matt is truly a pleasure to work with. If you take a look at his online portfolio it is obvious he is a sought after photographer, however, he always makes you feel like a priority, answering emails or phone calls in a timely manner and taking the time to work with you. The photos that were taken of our wedding day were more amazing than we could have ever imagined them to be. The images captured during our first look brought back the same emotions I felt that day, as did many of the other photos. His work speaks for itself. The best photographer around!
Matt has a reputation for being one of the best photographers in the area for a reason. We just got our photos back and I am in awe of how beautifully he and his team captured our day. His photos are truly works of art, and I'm so grateful we'll have them to remember our perfect day for years to come. Beyond that, Matt was such a pro and made the process feel so effortless. He arrived early and jumped right in. He was so efficient, and we didn't feel like we were spending all day taking photos, which was important to us. Simply amazing
When planning our wedding, my husband and I were most nervous about the photo aspect of it all. We love to be goofy, and when it comes to photos, we can rarely be serious and get a nice picture. Matt was able to not only make us so comfortable, both independently and as a couple, he captured the most stunning photos I’ve ever seen. He allowed us to still be goofy and have fun and had so many amazing ideas for photos. He was quickly responsive and helped bring the entire wedding day together flawlessly. On the day of our engagement shoot and wedding he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, comfortable, and getting everything we needed. The photographs are a true showcase of Matt’s artistry which capture the overall beauty and spirit of your wedding day. It was truly an honor working with him throughout this process and we could not imagine working with anyone else! I must have visited every photographers website within 100 mile radius of Saratoga Springs and no one came even close to capturing the creativity, attention to detail and sheer beauty that I saw in Matt's work. His pictures absolutely captivated me. I am one who does not like to be photographed and generally hate any picture that I see of myself. Matt and his assistant Jess put me at ease right from the start. He took command and kept us on track time wise. He was non intrusive and most of the time we were unaware of his presence yet he captured every fascinating moment of our special day. Where do I even begin? Matt Ramos is absolutely fantastic! Of all the things that I had to plan for my wedding, my photographer was my number one priority since pictures last forever. When I came across Matt's work, it quickly became apparent that his photography is second to none, and with that alone I was sold. Beyond this, Matt's personality, professionalism, and organization far surpassed what I expected. He kept everyone laughing the whole day as we took pictures even though it was 40 degrees and raining (not that you could tell looking at the photos). Matt paid amazing attention to every little detail though out the day and really captured the energy of each event. Highly, highly recommend! You will not regret hiring Matt Ramos!!

Truly Amazing!!
Words cannot express how thankful we are that we chose Matt to be our wedding photographer. He was truly incredible on our wedding day and also throughout the planning process. His photographs speak for themselves and are absolutely stunning and his ability to capture a moment is simply magical. Matt made everyone feel comfortable when taking the photos and we were laughing the entire time (despite being very hot!). Even almost three months later, we can't stop going through the photographs! Jacquelin was there every step of the day as well helping capture some amazing shots!

Working with Matt Ramos from start to end was an amazing experience. He is SO incredibly talented! Our photos from our wedding are truly spectacular. We were blown away, everyone loves them as much as we do. He truly knocked it out of the park! He also was so quick to turnaround our photos, we got them within 2 weeks of our wedding. He is very kind and extremely professional. Working with Matt Ramos was the best decision we made throughout our entire wedding planning process. Matt was absolutely the best decision we could have made! He was extremely helpful with more than just quality photos. Matt will help you create a timeline for the entire day. He goes above and beyond and the pictures really show it. We had to downsize our wedding due to covid, but you wouldn’t know by looking at our pictures. I just can’t thank him enough for really capturing everything I could have ever imagined. I’ve gotten so many compliments on our wedding pictures, he really gives you that WOW factor. Matt also uses a drone which really helped to capture the scenery at our Lakeside wedding. His personality makes the entire day so much fun. 10/10!

No brainer - you want Matt Ramos for photography!
For years, I’ve followed Matt Ramos’ wedding photography and have always been in awe of how stunning his work is. When I first started browsing for photographers, he was immediately on my short list. The first date I had in mind, he wasn’t available — but he mentioned that if we ended up moving into the next month, he would be. As luck (or fate!) would have it, the venue we fell in love with worked better for the following month, and I was able to book my dream photographer right away.
Let me tell you — that was the best decision I could have made.
We did our engagement photos with Matt as well, and he somehow manages to create breathtaking images out of the simplest moments. He helped us work through all our nerves and jitters, made the whole process fun, and delivered photos faster than I ever expected — and they completely blew us away.
When it came time for the wedding, Matt was incredible at collaborating with our other vendors to make the timeline flow perfectly. He was punctual (even early, scoping out the best photo spots!) and took charge in such a natural, reassuring way. His directions are clear and easy to follow, and even if you don’t quite know why he’s asking you to do something, trust his vision — the results will be incredible.
He creates such a relaxed, fun atmosphere, and his second shooter was equally wonderful and so helpful throughout the day. We’ve only seen a few teaser shots so far, and already I feel like I’m looking at something out of a wedding magazine. I can hardly believe it’s us in those photos!
If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, put Matt Ramos at the very top of your list. You will be so grateful you did — I know we are!

If you are looking for best photographer to capture your special day look no further. Matt and his team are one of the best around. Starting from our first sit down meeting to putting our wedding album together Matt always was on top of things and gave great suggestions. He was recommended to us from a friends and we've passed the good word along to friends to use him as well. You won't regret it!! When showing people our wedding album everyone said how amazing the pictures came out and what great moments he captured. Not only are his pictures amazing but his personality and work ethic is what makes him an all around great person to work with.

If you are searching for a wedding photographer and come upon this, your search ends here. We chose Matt and his team to photograph our engagement session and our wedding. From the initial email, the wedding, and even designing our photo book (1.5 years later lol), they were nothing but professional, accommodating, and very responsive. And our photos, perfect! They captured everything we wanted, and even the things we didn't see! Our home is decorated with our pictures and we get nothing but compliments! We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would do it over again the same way.
