Briann Sent on 04/16/2022Where do I even begin?? From the moment we booked Matlyn she was nothing short of helpful and amazing!
From our engagement session, to communication, to offering her help on the day of itinerary, to the day-of-organization—Matlyn made our wedding day feel like a breeze!! First, I’d like to say that we had such a fun time with Matlyn at our engagement session! I loved that she asked us personal questions about our relationship and she has us answer what we loved most about each other. It added to the thrill leading up to our big day and I really appreciated it! The engagement photos turned out amazing! As for our wedding day, everyone loved how organized she was, especially when it came to capturing all of our important must-have family photos. For reference, my husband and I come from large Mexican and Filipino families…we completed our post wedding family photos within 30 MINUTES!! It was amazing. And don’t get me started on the quality of our photos. Everyone was in awe at how beautiful the pictures came out. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Not to mention how fun and personable she was to not only us but every guest (including the younger kids) in attendance. -

Amazing photographer and human being!! She is talented, kind, and funny!
We enjoyed Matlyn May Photography immensely. She met with us before the wedding and got to know us as a couple, was very professional, took great shots and really enjoyed herself at our events as well. We did a large four day wedding and she did a great job of capturing all of it. She made us feel so comfortable taking photos and even got us to laugh several times to capture some really great photos! 5/5, highly recommended! Amazing photographer and somehow even a better person. -

We couldn’t have been happier with Matlyn. She did an amazing job making us feel comfortable and at ease the whole day. She was very communicative and even took us to dinner a few months before just to meet us and get a sense of our personalities. She asked what we wanted from our photos and she delivered! She also provided us with sneak peaks the day after, which was so exciting! The rest of the photos followed about 5 weeks later, which aligned perfectly with what was promised. Seriously 10/10. Thank you Matlyn for making our day so special and giving us memories that will last a lifetime. -

Made us feel so comfortable!
Matlyn was EXCELLENT! She made my husband and I feel so comfortable at our engagement session and all of our wedding party commented about how easy she was. No stiff and starchy!
Plus our pictures are BEAUTIFUL too!
Also, our ceremony was indoors (no natural lighting). I was very happy with the quality of our photos even though she wasn’t able to use flash. -

Wonderful Photographer!!
Matlyn is a wonderful photographer! She has taken mine and my husbands graduation pictures, engagement pictures, and wedding pictures! She has great ideas, but always asks you what you are looking for in your pictures. I HIGHLY recommend! You will not be disappointed! -

Amazing Photographer! Amazing Pricing!
Matlyn is the best photographer to have for your wedding! Not only is she very reasonably priced for the amazing quality of work she provides she is very quick with her turn around time! She has able to get the best shots of my son who usually hates taking pictures. She has done two weddings for our family and each time she is so sweet and kind! Our pictures came out soooo beautiful and I couldn’t be happier with them! Our wedding completely changed venue even the town it was supposed to be in less than a week before our wedding and Matlyn was so sweet and accommodating. I always knew if I had a question I could reach out to her and she would respond quickly! I couldn’t recommend a better photographer at your wedding Matlyn is the best! -

Matlyn has now photographed my husband and I 4 times. Once for an engagement session, once for our real wedding, one for a styled shoot she did, and one for our vow renewal (we got married during Covid). Even with all the craziness that went on, she was still willing to be flexible and understanding. She is the nicest person and has some serious talent. We love Matlyn, and we love our photos every time! -

We hired Matlyn for our wedding at China Peak Mountain Resort October 2021. This was her first time at this venue and her photos blew us away. She is amazing at her job and it shows. We got so many Comme to on who our photographer was when we got our photos. She made everything easy and streamlined. She really gets to know you and her work shows that. Very professional, personal and responsive. Matlyn will be our photographer for life and you will regret not hiring her over other vendors. She really captured the magic and love on our special day. -

Matlyn absolutely surpassed our expectations for a wedding photographer, we are recommending her to all our friends and family! My husband now says there is no other photographer that exists to us other than Matlyn! I was so nervous about committing to a photographer for our wedding, but after our engagement shoot, all my fears were long gone as I was absolutely blown away at her skill and professionalism! Also having a photographer that genuinely cares and makes an effort to get to know you made working with her all the more worthwhile! She exudes confidence, positivity, and a fun attitude while not missing a beat. She helped us with poses and feeling comfortable in front of the camera, and it shows in our photos! Between our engagement and wedding photos, she didn't miss one special moment! She is highly organized and stays in communication well with you throughout the process. I would choose her a million times over to capture our once in a lifetime day! Our entire bridal party, guests, and family loved the photos and asked about who did them! Matlyn was the best photographer I could have asked for. During COVID, our plans changed 3 times. We made sure she was available for the new date, and she was so accommodating and understanding. When we said we would like a second photographer to video, she made it happen. We didn’t want to do a first look and she totally supported it and made sure our pictures didn’t take a long time afterward so the guests weren’t waiting long. She responded very quickly to every text, and has still been in communication with us often! She got us our pictures within one month and our video in 2! Seriously I’ve never met such a loving and kind person, and the pictures were perfect! Please please please use her!!! -

Honestly, Matlyn is AMAZING. We unfortunately had to postpone our big wedding celebration due to Covid, but we still wanted to get married on our original date. Matlyn really worked with us and was so flexible! Not to mention she drive a long way for our small ceremony and helped us out financially. Matlyn is the most comfortable person to take pictures with, and she really captures the true joy of the day. I am extremely thankful for all Matlyn did for us! You won’t find a more kind hearted and talented photographer! -

Wonderful in every way possible!
Matlyn was perfect! My husband and I eloped due to Covid-19. We had so much stress and anxiety trying to find a photographer and when we spoke to Matlyn it was just meant to be! She not only does a phenomenal job, but she is easy to be around. She is warm, friendly, funny, and never makes you feel weird while taking photos. I loved all of my wedding day photos and am eternally grateful for this woman! You’d be doing yourself a favor by hiring her! -

Matlyn was so wonderful to work with on our big day! She was flexible (like flew out to our wedding type of flexible) and she was very organized. With patience and grace while still making it feel like a party, she herded our bridal party (20 of us total!!!!) like it was nothing! She made pictures flow and there were not many moments that felt like our party was standing around waiting for a long time. She is so amazing to work with and I would recommend her a thousand times to anyone looking for a wedding photographer! We love you Matlyn and can’t wait to watch you flourish in this passion of yours! -

Great to work with, amazing photos
We are so glad had Matlyn May Photography do our wedding! Matlyn is the perfect person to be there for all the big moments. She captured the important events without having to interrupt and “pose for the perfect photo”. She worked with us to see what photos were important for us to have, and we were shocked when she got EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM! I highly recommend Matlyn May Photography. -
