There aren't enough words to describe how awesome Mason was. We brought him to Tulum and had zero issues. He showed up ready to go for both our welcome party and wedding. All of our guests are still talking about how awesome the music was all weekend and how they never left the dance floor. We also hired a sax player and the two of them vibed with each other so well. One of our favorite vendors we had and I 100% recommend Mason to anyone looking to have their vibe perfectly represented for their event! -

Best money spent at our wedding. I have people asking if Mason can come to Austin for our next house party. People didn’t leave the dance floor until the end of the night! He was professional, read the room, kind, and brought the vibes to 100! I have so many hilarious photos of everyone on the dance floor. Wish I would have grabbed one of Mason, because I would have hire him again tomorrow! -

We cannot recommend Mason enough. From the very beginning, he was incredibly attentive and detail-oriented. Months before the wedding, we met with him just to talk through our vision and see if our personalities aligned. He is genuinely such a cool, down-to-earth person. Honestly, he is someone we could see ourselves being friends with, which made the whole experience feel easy and natural.
Leading up to the wedding, he was so inquisitive about the details. He wanted to know exactly which songs we envisioned for our special dances and entrances, and he gave us the option to be as specific as we wanted. That level of care meant so much to us.
We told Mason we wanted high-energy dance vibes, and he absolutely delivered. We have already been told by multiple guests that our wedding was one of the best dance parties they have ever been to, and that is all thanks to him. We gave him the songs we loved, but he mixed everything seamlessly, kept the energy up all night, and read the room perfectly.
If you want an unforgettable dance floor, Mason is your guy. Would recommend him again and again. -

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Mason!! From just one conversation, he completely nailed the exact vibe we were hoping for and brought it to life PERFECTLY on the dance floor. He was intentional about playing the songs we requested, made sure our do not play list was *not played* (which I typically hear a lot of DJs don’t always follow), and handled a lot of rogue requests with patience and total professionalism.
He also went above and beyond by checking in with us ahead of time about his attire and making sure it fit the occasion, which we really appreciated. He was flexible, and fully rolled with our semi last minute decision to do a silent disco, which ended up being one of the highlights of our night.
Overall, an amazing experience from start to finish. We couldn’t recommend him more and would absolutely work with him again if back in Costa Rica!!! -

Phenomenal DJ
Mason just worked our rehearsal dinner and wedding events in Asheville and we couldn’t be happier with the vibes he created. He is incredibly professional, talented, and just gets it when it comes to reading the mood and getting the crowd going. Many of our guests went out of their way to let us know Mason was the best. He has now DJed both my and my sister’s weddings so he’s basically family. You will be happy you hired him! -

We could not be more thrilled that we picked Mason to DJ our wedding. From the start, he was incredibly professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. He had all of our guests dancing from the moment his set started, and everyone raved about how amazing the music was throughout the night. As one of our guests said, if the aggregate sweat generated on the dancefloor was an indication, it was the best wedding in the history of the world.
Mason put in the effort to include so many of the songs we requested (we gave him a very lengthy playlist with music we love), and we had a ton of fun with all of the other songs he mixed in. His transitions were flawless between different genres of music and everything flowed incredibly well, which created an unbelievable atmosphere that we'll remember forever. We both think we left the dancefloor for a collective 5 minutes.
If you want to throw a phenomenal party and trust that the music will be off the charts, we recommend you hire Mason 12/10. -

We had the absolute pleasure of working with DJ Mason for a wedding at Villa Punto de Vista in Manuel Antonio Costa Rica, and truly cannot express how fantastic the experience was!
From the very first email correspondence we had, we knew Mason was the one to work with from a DJ perspective in Costa Rica. As the wedding planner for a couple hosting their nearest and dearest for an extremely special week including a welcome reception, family rehearsal dinner, and full wedding day we had the opportunity to witness his exceptional communication, professionalism, talent, and impact on the atmosphere of a multi-day event in person.
From the very beginning, Mason demonstrated an unwavering commitment to ensuring that every aspect of the evening went off with ease. He made honest recommendations from experiences in the space and was flexible with unique requests from both our team and the couple.

We had an intimate wedding in Tamarindo and were very specific about the type of music we wanted to be played and NOT played (our do-not-play playlist was over 7 hours long). Mason was responsive, understood the exact vibe we were going for, and exceeded our expectations on the wedding day. Our guests (including a guest who's a DJ in NYC) raved about how great the music selection and flow of the night. Everyone had a blast because Mason catered to our music taste as a couple and the vibe of our guests. Mason is the best! He made our wedding feel like a music show. Ourselves and our guests seriously did not leave the dance floor all night. Leading up to the wedding Mason was super responsive and helpful. He’s very flexible and accommodated us changing our wedding date and even staying late the night of the wedding. He’s super talented, charismatic, and brought amazing vibes to our wedding ceremony and party. Mason was recommended by our wedding planner at Bliss Weddings and we couldn’t be happier with our experience with him. He was extremely professional - always responsive to email and willing to chat with us about what we wanted for our big day. The day of wedding, Mason kept the music bumping! We provided him a playlist but gave him freedom to feel the crowd and put in his own jams, and he did such a great job. When our wedding night was approaching its end but the guests were still dancing, Mason was flexible enough to go longer. Strongly recommend Mason to anyone looking for a DJ - top class! -

Mason was an exception DJ to work with. We got married in Nosara, Costa Rica in January 2022. We were coming in from New York and Mason came highly recommended to us. From the first call through the wedding day you could tell her cared about the details and wanted to get the music right for what we liked and the vibe we wanted for our wedding night. We danced non-stop all night and our guests did too. He also did a great job with music and A/V equipment for our beach ceremony prior to the reception.
We highly recommend Mason for any event where music is played. -

He Turned a Reception into a PARTY!!!
Mason was the best possible DJ we could have asked for to perform at our wedding! He was referred to us by our wedding planner and when we first started talking to him we knew he was our guy. My fiance and I were very critical with hiring our vendors and wanted to hire people we had a great instant rapport with when talking on the phone. Mason made time to have multiple FaceTime calls with us to discuss his package of services, the style and direction we wanted our wedding to go and his execution of creating an awesome dance party. Mason made the whole process very easy and all we really had to do was give him a playlist of songs we liked and he did all the rest...from organizing, mixing and editing (where needed) to provide the perfect musical arrangements during our wedding ceremony, cocktail party, dinner and reception. The reception is where Mason really wow'd us...every single one of our guests was telling us afterwards that it was the best music and most fun wedding they'd ever been too. We might be biased but we feel the same way. The reception was more than just first dances, cake cutting, bouquet and garter tosses, it turned into a full on bash with us and our guests dancing into the wee hours of the morning, jumping in the pool, doing shots, dancing some more and having the absolute best time! We can't say enough good things about Mason, but if you want to take your wedding celebration to the ultimate level of fun, he's the guy to hire. -

We hired Mason as our DJ for our wedding at Dreams Las Mareas and he was fantastic! We really, really lucked out with all of our vendors and I know reviews are so helpful when choosing, and I would say we HIGHLY recommend him! He was so easy to work with and so friendly beforehand. He worked our provided timeline really well. I felt so bad because the power went out a few times but it was not his fault, it was the resort, and he scrambled quickly to get music playing again each time it happened. He made sure to play a good amount of our must plays but we also had a lot of guests submitting requests, which he was so nice to accommodate as well! We also had a late change in venues due to the possibility of rain and he was so easy going and made it all come together. Thank you Mason, you're the best! Definitely hire him! -

My husband and I got married at Pangas Beach Club in Tamarindo in December of 2019. We booked Mason as our DJ because of his professional website and responsiveness to our inquiries. Mason did not disappoint! We gave him a list of some preferred artists and song suggestions and he went above and beyond! From the dinner music, to the party on the dance floor, Mason kept the party going. All of our guests were on the dance floor, even our grandmothers. After the wedding, we received so many compliments on how great the DJ was and how much fun everyone had dancing! If you are thinking about booking Mason, just do it...you will not regret it! -

Our Wedding Planner introduced us to DJ Mason and we were so happy to have had him as our DJ. Mason did an amazing job at our wedding. We really did not want any cheesy wedding music played and sent him idea of what we wanted. He basically took the best parts of every single song and did an amazing mix! Literally every single person at our wedding was out of their seat and dancing. Everyone including myself kept commenting on how it was the best playlist they’ve ever heard! Not only that but my stepson who is 8 loves DJs and wants to be one when he grows up. Mason had my stepson hang out with him the entire night and let him help. It made my stepsons day! He is amazing with guests, he’s extremely talented and he will make everyone get out of their seat at your wedding. Highly highly recommend him! -

We hired Mason more than a year in advance. Finding the best DJ was extremely important to my husband and I. We knew once we confirmed a date, we needed to book the DJ asap or else we may not have many options to choose from in Costa Rica.
We knew the music really sets the tone of the reception party and we wanted everyone to be on the dance floor all night. Mason asked us to send him Spotify playlists of what we would like to hear, anywhere from a few songs up to 10 or even more. We provided Mason with way more than 10 songs but we told him he did not have to play all, we just want everyone on the dance floor all night. We trusted him to read the crowd. OMG did he deliver! He seriously nailed it and I wouldn't have changed one song he played. It was just perfect! I would hire Mason over and over again if I could! Thank you Mason, you were a big part of making our dream wedding day come true! -

My husband and I LOVE music and are pretty particular when it comes to it. We didn’t want normal boring wedding music, we wanted our wedding music to be a taste of us and what we love and mason was able to pull it off without a hitch. We sent him a full playlist ranging from EDM, to funk, to some oldies and gave him the freedom to choose which ones to keep the wedding/ dance vibe following. Our guests claimed that this was the best wedding DJ they have ever heard. Us along with all of our friends and family members did not stop dancing until the night was done. You’ll be lucky to have Mason as your wedding Dj! He is efficient, responsive via email and easy to work with. Five stars from the Martina’s!

Ashley Sent on 12/18/2016Overall, Mason is a wonderful DJ. He was very prompt and professional. I wasn’t able to meet him until the reception, but he did a great job getting us through the ceremony solely based on our previous email correspondence.
My only criticism would be that I had to prompt him on a few things, such as when to move onto the next reception event, introduce reception events, and when to fade out music. I should have discussed this more with him.
We provided him with a playlist for the cocktail hour and the reception, and our friends and family were very impressed with how well he made it all flow. He was also very friendly and accommodating. So, based on our experience, we would recommend Mason to others! -
