  I'm not sure if words can express how great Maryam is. She exceeded my expecrations in every way. She did my makeup and hair for a wedding. I got complimented all night! She also did a fantastic job on my entire party. I wish I could bring her with me everywhere I go! I would recommend her to anyone.

  MUA Maryam was excellent! She did a trial on me, and booked her soon after, I was very pleased. She is a true artist! She will work with you on what you want, and pays attention to what you don't like. She is great, reasonable and I highly recommend her to anyone! After the trial, now I don't have to worry about my big day. I am confident with how my makeup will come out. Can't wait til she does my hair/makeup for my Big day in August now!   Maryam was she best MUA I could have asked for on my wedding day! I had to make sure to be ready by 10 and she was there bright and early with her assistant who was also amazing. She brought her assistant for my sister so Maryam could dedicate all her time to me. The best thing was that I didn't have to worry one bit about ANYTHING! She knew exactly what I was looking for with my hair and makeup and made it happen. Not once did I have to tell her to fix anything. She knew it all! Also, as an added bonus she's super sweet! She had to leave NJ from me by 10 for another bride but assured me she would be back for my reception look by 3:30. She was there ready to go! I even fell asleep while she did my makeup for my reception, that's how relaxed she made me feel! I love Maryam's work and recommend her to everyone who needs a sweet and experienced MUA!

  I came across Maryam through Yelp and was very impressed with her skill level. After contacting her and forming a contract she was very prompt and communicative. The day of my Sangeet she made me look like an Indian Bollywood doll, no joke. I looked so amazing I barely recognized myself and not in a fake way. The beauty was just flawless. The day after for my wedding day itself I received a bridal cut crease style because I wanted the drama but the beauty of a natural bride. Maryam is amazing and quick. Her team is also very good and my bridesmaids loved them. I also got Maryam to apply henna for me and my guests which was a blast at my Sangeet. Everyone lined up and got awesome henna. I will definitely book Maryam again for any future events. If you are interested in her don't fear at all. Well worth the money and she delivers exceptional beauty.

  I got my wedding reception make up done by her.! She is a great artist who made sure to put as much effort as possible to give a magnificant bride look. She was very professional, detail oriented and made sure I was happy with the outlooks.! I like to work with people like her who understand this is not only a job but someones lifetime memory.! I loved my makeup and hair.!!

  Bring the dream to reality by her magic make up.

  Maryam did my make up for both morning ceremony and evening reception. She came on time. On spot she did the kind of hairstyle I always wanted. She knew how to adjust the heavy bridal attire in best way. I and people loved the make up she did for both functions. Got lot of compliments .

  Maryam did an amazing job on my makeup and hair for my engagement! When I got in touch with her to inquire about her services, she was very responsive and extremely thorough in answering all of my questions. She worked with me to see what kind of makeup and hair I wanted and what would work best with my dress and jewelry. She was very nice and respectful of what I wanted while providing her expert opinion and advice. Maryam was very prompt; she was at the hotel exactly at the time she said and had me ready well before the event.
  
  My makeup and hairdo was flawless! She did a double-cut crease on my eyes and a soft romantic curl updo. My makeup was very clean and Maryam did a stunning job with all of the details on both my makeup and hair. Everyone was speechless when they saw me and could not stop raving about how gorgeous I looked! I can't wait to work with her in the future!!

  I booked Maryam after seeing her Instagram page and I couldn't be happier! When looking for a makeup artist to do my makeup for my wedding day, I never thought I would be comfortable with booking someone without a trial at the least. Unfortunately, I was living in NC for almost a year prior to the wedding and couldn't make it to Jersey/NY for one. I was in contact with Maryam via text and calls. She requested a 10% deposit and I sent that to her immediately. Maryam arrived to the hotel at 6am promptly as discussed. I knew exactly what I wanted and I showed her pictures. Maryam understood and took it from there. She made my vision come to life and I could not be more thrilled. I got so many compliments on the day of my wedding. In fact, numerous people asked me for her information so they could book her for their wedding. She did an amazing job. Aside from my makeup, she also did my sister's makeup for the same day and it looked perfect. Thank you so much Maryam! You are amazing!

  I have used so many different hair stylist and make up artist in new York, with mariam I feel like I hit the jackpot I couldn't be any happier with my hair and make up. Never been so satisfied with how she nicely lined my lips and Eyebrows I'm a picky when it comes to that and she did an excellent job.

  Horrible Customer service and extremely unprofessional

  I was referred to Maryam by my friend who got married last year. She had a good experience so I thought I could trust to have the same. When I emailed Maryam, she gave me all the info I requested, confirmed she was available for the dates and we planned to schedule a trial. I live in NJ and am in full time pharmacy school so couldnt schedule a trial until April. First, scheduling this trial and getting in touch with her was the most difficult thing to begin with. I would call and leave VM, texts and emails and still have not gotten responses to those. If I got lucky she would answer my call when I tried every few weeks or she would reject it and reply via text message. So basically getting in touch with her is the first problem. The second problem is, after we picked a date she told me as of now she is available for the date so I thought to call and confirm the week before my trial. When I call to confirm, she told me both the trial and the dates are available and I can come in. The morning of my trial at 7 am, I receive a text message saying she just “double checked and is only available for one of [my] dates” and she straight out denied confirming the availability of the dates the week before and said “I’m sorry it is what it is, it’s been booked, are you coming in for the trial?”
  So I understand how a MUA can get booked but the lack of professionalism, courtesy, and customer service was unbelievable. I would never recommend any bride to put their big day in the hands of someone like this.
