Not only was Mary so easy to work with and she made our day so much better just with her confidence and expertise, but also the photos she delivered to us were absolutely wonderful! We can't get over how beautiful they turned out and how much of the day and our joy she captured! It will be an impossible task to narrow it down to just a few to print and put around the house! Seeing the love and joy on our guests' faces and then also seeing the joy in our own eyes in each photo made our experience just that much better! We will be forever grateful to Mary and her talent! Also, we are so grateful to Mary for sticking with us throughout the craziness of the past two years. She was one of the first vendors we found and we are SO thankful that she was still available and willing to work with us after our postponement. I will say it over and over, having Mary capture our wedding day was one of the best choices we made throughout our wedding planning process! -

Great experience
Mary helped make our special day even better. We were nervous going into it because we had never had professional photography done before. Mary made us feel super comfortable and really helped us to relax and allow our true selves to be captured -

Mary helped me pick, plan, and make happen the most amazing elopement. We knew having a big wedding wasn't for us and even though our family wasn't there on the day through her photos we have been able to visually share our whole day. She helped me pick a place that met all my needs, I was pregnant, wanted to bring my dog, and it was also important to me to get eloped somewhere I have never been to make a new memory. The sunrise ceremony was perfection and the hike was perfect for a 6 month adventurous pregnant woman to do. I can confidently day I have the BEST wedding photos of all time. It was been so special sharing them with our families and friends, cant wait to share the moment with our son, I hope it teaches him its ok to be spontaneous and go out to do something different that expresses who you are, or in this case who we are as a couple. All these memories and moment wouldn't have been possible without Mary.Mary Meck Weddings's reply:

Beautiful, natural photos that captured the joy of our wedding!!
I can't say enough wonderful things about Mary. She was not only a joy to work with, but gave us the most beautiful collection of photos from our wedding day and engagement shoot.
Prior to the wedding, Mary was open and available to talking through our vision - we were looking for candid, natural photos that captured the moment, and Mary not only delivered, but she managed to capture the love and essence of the wide range of relationships with our guests. She was sensitive to our unique blend of families and made everyone comfortable (which made for amazing photos - everyone wanted to be friends with Mary by the end of the evening!!). She got all angles, every grouping of friends and family we asked for, and got candid, dynamic shots that captured the joy and color and movement of our wedding.
I cannot recommend Mary highly enough!!!!! -

Mary is phenomenal!!
We found Mary through our wedding venue. She had actually taken the photos for the wedding that made us fall in love with the venue. We ended up picking her because we thought she did the best at capturing raw emotions of not only the couples but also the guests at the wedding. Mary and her assistant, Amelia, were such joys to work with on our wedding day. They were very professional and made me and my husband feel so comfortable. We could not be happier with the photos of our wedding. Mary recommended doing our first look in Rocky Mountain NP, which turned out absolutely beautiful. The photos are breathtaking and truly capture the joy we felt on our special day. She also captured some amazing moments of friends and family that we will cherish for years! If you are thinking about booking Mary, DO IT! We could not recommend her more. Thank you Mary for everything! -

Mary is magic behind the camera lens!
Due to COVID-19, we pivoted from a wedding with our families and friends to an intimate elopement in the Eastern Sierras. Mary guided us every step of the way, from our initial introduction call when she gave us some fun elopement ideas, to checking in and sending us tips as we got closer to the day. She also gave me an incredible vendor recommendation for virtual makeup lessons (shoutout to Beyond the Literal!) so I was confident applying my own makeup the morning of.
My husband and I had a lofty elopement plan – to wake up at sunrise, get married, and go fly fishing in Bishop Creek. It probably wouldn’t have been so bad except it was November in the mountains and below freezing! Mary was there for it and didn’t flinch when I said we wanted to meet at 6am! She was flexible and supportive when my husband forgot our rings at the hotel, making what could have been a disappointing stressful situation all ok.
Neither of us have spent much time in front of a camera lens, but Mary made us look comfortable and like ourselves. I think a big part of that is the calm, easy going energy she brings. These photos are treasures to our friends and family who couldn’t be there in person, and I’m so glad we chose Mary to create them for us. I wholeheartedly recommend Mary Meck for adventure elopements and weddings!

Mary was a dream to work with
Like many other 2020 weddings our plans were thrown for a loop and we ended up picking a different date and changed our original party. Mary was the one vendor we kept throughout the process and I couldn’t have been more happy with our choice to have her as our photographer. She was so flexible in our ever changing plans, offered great recommendations for our less traditional ceremony, and was super communicative.
Above all else our photos turned out stunning and she really captured the magic of the day. I couldn’t recommend Mary more! -

I’ll just start by saying that Mary offered everything we were looking for in a wedding photographer – and so much more. My fiancé and I had to pivot from a large wedding to a small elopement due to COVID, and Mary helped make our small ceremony with our parents feel like a special day. She is the sweetest, most easy-going photographer (possibly human being) I’ve ever met. Most importantly, the photographs she took captured our special day exactly how we envisioned it – intimate, moody, and romantic. We were blown away. The lighting throughout the day kept shifting on us and Mary went out of her way to re-take certain shots to make sure we were able to capture the perfect lighting – that’s dedication. The area we got married was somewhat remote so we were grateful that Mary was willing to travel to such distances – and even arrived early! The best thing a bride could ask for . I would recommend Mary to anyone who wants a “rolls with the punches” photographer who can capture your vision with ease and beauty. Her photographs are stunning and her genuine personality are priceless. -

Couldn't be happier!
Needless to say, Mary has an impeccable eye for light, proportion and scenery. I was beyond thrilled with her final work, not to mention her calm and easy demeanor which made the wedding and photographing that much better. We found Mary on our wedding venue’s Instagram! We booked her for our 2020 wedding which was then postponed, and she has been super flexible and understanding with our date change. We decided to take a trip to RMNP for an adventure anyway in the fall, and Mary had the best ideas of where/when to hike for the most epic pictures!! Literally every place we stopped to pose along the way was extremely epic! We are awkward as a couple and it was really cold, but Mary was encouraging, and our photos are everything we could have dreamed of! When I look at our gallery wall, I feel the love we share.... in the most beautiful place I could imagine! Thank you Mary! And I can’t wait until we get you again on our big day! -

I found Mary through loose climbing community connections via social media. I knew she was "the one" for our elopement photos the second I opened her website! Her outdoor photography style was on par with what I was looking for, and I could tell that with similar interests and personality, she'd be someone we'd enjoy spending a day with. She has a knack for photographing beautiful landscapes while simultaneously capturing her subjects in natural and loving poses. Her photos have great composition, she uses natural light well, and I love her neutral editing tones. Not only that, but when COVID-19 forced us to cancel our original wedding plans, she and her partner, like typical adventurers, were so eager and willing to not only drive over 5 hours and camp in a remote area with only 2 days notice, but were also willing to wake up before dawn in VERY cold temps to take our photos, during a PANDEMIC! I should mention that they were also very respectful of current social distancing recommendations, which as a healthcare provider, I really appreciated. My partner and I both felt comfortable with Mary throughout the shoot, and we had a great morning with her and her partner. I only wish we hung out longer! The day after our elopement, we were elated to receive a message that she already had preview photos available, which were beyond gorgeous and made our families so happy. She was timely with providing the full album only a short time after that. She helped create and commemorate beautiful memories in an exceptionally stressful and unusual time for us all. Mary is an absolutely amazing photographer and an ARTIST. she was a joy to work with from day one and captured our wedding day so so so beautifully. she was very organized throughout the whole planning process and the most amazing, kind, and fun person on the day of wedding. I cannot put into words how comfortable we felt with her during this whole process. She made the day so relax and fun. she even had our time table in mind and took on the role of our wedding coordinator when we were running a little behind.
There is no exaggeration when I say, I screamed from excitement the moment I saw her email with our wedding album sneak peeks which was sent 5 days after the wedding. it was truly everything we had hoped for and more. Her images shows all the emotions of our intimate wedding. she captured all the right moments with all that we were feeling.

Rad Sent on 08/06/2018Mary is so talented, sweet and there's really no reason to even look at other photographers. Book her! I promise you won't regret it. She did our engagement pictures which were elopement style and we were blown away by the pictures! She picked an amazing location, showed up on time and made us feel relaxed and at ease. We hate having our picture taken and literally had maybe 10 pictures together in 7 years. Somehow she was able to create beautiful, natural pictures. She will be shooting our destination wedding in Belize next year. She is worth every cent and had incredibly reasonable pricing!

Words really can’t describe how grateful I am to have found Mary to photograph our “(US) destination” wedding. Her promptness, professionalism and consistency with her communication instantly made me feel comfortable and confident hiring her as our photographer. After our engagement photos I was even further over the moon. After working with her on the wedding day, I didn’t think I could be more impressed... And then she had our sneak peaks back to us within 24 hours. Are you kidding me?! Looking at the entire collection now is so special, I don’t know how to choose!
