    AMAZING QUALITY!!!! SHE IS WAY UNDERPRICED FOR WHAT SHE DELIVERS!!!! EVERYONE SHOULD BE BOOKING HER!!!!!! My fiancé and I loved our E-session!!!!! We just got married and she did our extra slide show day of at the reception!!!! it was the talk of the wedding SO GOOD! I can't express how much we love her and her fun personality! she has excellent online and personal reviews she is the best in RVA!!!!!

    most TALENTED artist you will ever come across

    I’ve been following Mary’s journey since 2008/09 she started her business in fall 2008 and I have watched her grow and turn into a huge superstar! She teaches other photographers about lighting and editing. She is a self taught natural light photographer that is AMAZING AT WHAT SHE DOES!

    We booked Mary for our wedding and she made us feel like we were in the best hands! I booked her highest package pricey but WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY... and still way cheaper than others in the field. Mary offers brides payment plans and she is so amazing with helping you through the process! We love our gallery and our surprise canvas!

    AMAZING!!!! She’s the only photographer who lets all the guests download over 3,000 images from her weddings all FREE

    I knew from before I got engaged since I’ve followed her work now for almost a decade that I wanted Mary Davis Photography to be my photographer! I told her I was engaged before I told my parents! She books up fast and only takes about 20 weddings a year! She is highly sought after! I knew instantly I was in great hands Mary and eric know their craft so well. I was nervous being in front of the camera but they made it so fun and easy! Mary set up a gorgeous picnic for us and we all had lunch before our session I swear you will feel so at ease and like you’ve know her forever... she has the most tender heart and soul! If you’ve watched her business grow you’d know her husband and her our middle school sweethearts who met at age 13 and they have one tiny red headed girl named Annabel! We are so obsessed with their love story and their gracious hearts. Mary delivered sneeks the same day and even passed around a slide show at our reception of work they had shot that morning of our wedding! So amazing! Her packages are so flexible and she makes her business in my eyes! She gives back yearly and donates session funds to the homeless. Without a doubt she will be the best choice you make for any event most importantly your wedding!

    Mary and eric love people, they love serving people and they love their jobs! These two were the best investment we made for our wedding day! We had so much fun with them and they made everything a breeze! They have been doing this for 12 years! They know exactly how to place you and exactly how to get those dreamy creamy photos! Amazing work we cried getting our package! I cannot day enough great things! We love you guys!

    Mary and eric photographed our wedding and they were the best choice we made through the entire process!

    I hired Mary Davis Photography because she is real. She talks about her life and connects with so many people. She does charity events, gives away her talents for the greater good and to raise money for those less fortunate. She is well known for her flawless, breathtaking, crisp, clean, true to life images. She captures joyful, classic, timeless moments and always is amazing with parents, and loved ones. Her husband is a true gentleman who helped my grandparents the entire wedding. Y’all I cannot say this enough.... hire Mary Davis Photography (Mary & Eric) they have been love birds since middle school, the have the most adorable love story, they will become like best friends.... also they are crazy cool. I’m so glad we get to see them and be friends. I just cannot day enough amazing things about them. Hands down the best and most skilled photographers in RVA. They travel all over the world to shoot weddings and sessions and take limited amounts of abroad weddings!

    Gracious photographers who create stunning art

    Everyone told me I was such a calm bride and that’s because I knew Mary Davis Photography was there for me. Mary and Eric were there for me from my timeline to the details of the day Mary was amazing helping us. She treated my family like it was her own. She is well educated and knows everything about lighting and how to pose and make people feel like family. She will set ur mind at ease. Mary and Eric (eric is her husband and middle school sweetheart...) were the best investment we made for our wedding. They delivered the images very fast and even gave our family members custom gifts.

    She has won the Brides choice awards and is well known for superior work! Mary and eric our middle school sweethearts!

    You will never find a more skilled, more gracious and loving person. Mary connects with people on a real, deep level. She has over a DECADE OF experience Shooting REAL WEDDINGS! I noticed most of the other photographers in the RVA AREA did style shoots and posted them as real weddings not Mary! MARY SENT ME 40 real weddings and engagements and they were flawless! She helped me plan and choose my everything for my wedding! I joked she should also plan weddings! We booked her largest package $9800 and she was well worth it! I can’t tell you how amazing she was and worth every penny! If you have the chance to work with her jump at it! She’s so talented and we are so in love with her work and our images. We love you both

    Mary and her husband Eric were WONDERFUL! They worked as a team on our wedding. Anything and everything we wanted we got with them. Super flexible, and accommodating. My husband and I couldn't have asked for better service.

    Planning a wedding is exciting, but it can also be expensive, time-consuming and stressful. Luckily a friend referred me to Mary Davis Photography for my Wedding and not only did they take care of everything, they were able to make my special day complete for a decent price. When I hired Mary Davis Photography to capture my Wedding Day in photos, I was given a unique opportunity to showcase my event in pictures. From our first meeting, the photographer wanted to know about how my fiancée and I met and what was important to us. We were able to create a custom wedding theme that translated into our guests being captured at their best without them even knowing they were being photographed, for us that was truly a priceless extra. The quality of Mary Davis Photography’s work is impeccable and she was able to work around our busy schedule to get the proofs back to us quickly. The advice, tools and services they provide will help speed up your wedding planning process and alleviate the stress. I plan to use Mary Davis Photography in the future as I’m now expecting and would like to have high quality baby pictures. I can’t begin to say enough about the superiority and value of their work. They are excellent with customers and have some of the best prices around.

    Mary was great!! From the very beginning she was in contact with me helping me figure out what I want but also listened to me and allowed me to bounce ideas off of her. She brought my ideas to life while adding her own special touch. She was always on my side and knew how to get the wedding party/family to focus during picture taking (which was incredibly difficult!). Every picture I received I loved and I could tell she put her heart and soul into my pictures. I was very happy with her services and would definitely hire her again!!

    Granted, I booked a Christmas holiday mini photography session with Mary Davis Photography, not engagement or wedding photography, but based on the BBB, it looks like she's done this to brides as well - BEWARE! In order to reserve my date and time, I had to pay for the session upfront. When asking for payment, Mary was very responsive but once I paid and the planning started, I would have to reach out to her multiple times over several days before getting a response. We were having an issue choosing a location and on the day before the session, I decided on my house (backyard and indoors) but Mary wanted to reschedule because she said shooting indoors would ruin the look, ignoring me when I said we could also go outside in my backyard (and what photographer can't shoot indoors, eek!). The day of the session, I contacted Mary several times to confirm and finally she cancelled on me a few hours before our session, saying she was sick. She asked to reschedule, but unfortunately there was no availability left that worked with my schedule to get the session done in time, so I asked for a refund. Mary then stated that mini sessions are non-refundable, as stated in a disclaimer in the ad, website, and Facebook and she would give me a credit to use towards another session later. However, none of these places mention that disclaimer and I only wanted a holiday session for my baby’s first Christmas, as I told her when booking and had no interest in a later session. I told her all this and at that point, she stopped responding to all my attempts to contact her and has essentially stolen my money.

    Terrible photographer!

    She was unprofessional and never got us our photos back. She scammed us and many other people thousands of times. BE AWARE!! She will make up excuse after excuse as to why she can’t give you your photos! Never hire her and DONT recommend her to anyone!
