Mary altered my daughter's wedding dress AND my MOB dress. She did an excellent job and I would highly recommend her services. She is a professional and excellent seamstress. My daughter wore low-heeled sparkly pumps and then changed into decorated tennis shoes for the reception. The dress length needed to work for both shoes (with differing heel heights) and Mary handled it expertly. -

Mary was so welcoming, and so casual - in the best way! It felt like visiting a family friend. She was attentive, sooooo knowledgeable, and very calm and comforting about everything related to altering my dress! I was referred to her by word of mouth and I hope to keep passing that word of mouth on! -

Wow! Mary is absolutely amazing! Not only is she the nicest but she is the best in what she does! Mary did a beautiful job on my wedding dress and was able to add and move things around as I wanted. She tailored the dress to fit me perfectly and I felt like a princess on my special day! I highly recommend Mary! You definitely won’t be disappointed! -

Mary has a true wedding workshop in her home and does a wonderful job with alteration. She was incredibly knowledgeable and timely. She was organized and stuck with the timeline and dates we set. She even put hidden straps into my dress that I pulled out after my first dance but you could not see them at all before that! She designed a beautiful bustle for me also. I would highly recommend. -

My dress fit perfect! It had very delicate sleeves that were covered in beading. I was scared I would have to lose a lot of the beads because the sleeves were very long on me. Mary was amazing and had great solutions to altering my dress without having to lose all my favorite details of it.
I’m sure this was not an easy dress to alter with the amount of beading and super delicate fabrics it had but she altered it so well that you would have no idea!
Mary was really fun during our appts to talk with and her pricing is very affordable compared to the bridal shop I was originally going to have it done at.

Mary is seriously sooo TALENTED! Originally, I brought my sample dress (which was beautiful but three sizes too big and also damaged in a few areas) to a shop called Hannah's tailoring and the seamstress told me that she didn't have time for my dress and that it be very difficult to fix. She also scolded me for buying a big dress in the first place. A co-worker recommended Mary and I'm so grateful she did! She is by far my favorite vendor I'm worked with throughout my wedding process. She redesigned the back of my dress, fixed the damage, and added an awesome and easy to use color coded bustle. It turned out beautiful. She's a tailoring magician and just a really nice human being. She was also way more affordable than what the first seamstress quoted me. Thank you so much Mary for helping me feel beautiful on my wedding day! -

Unreal...in a good way
I had the best experience with Mary. She really knows what she is doing, and she is efficient and kind. Mary added a bustle to my dress that was unlike anything I had ever seen (13 ties!), and it was all color coded/easy to figure out! Highly recommend. She also rents out vintage furs! We didn't end up going the fur route, but they were stunning! A good option for any local bride. -

When I was nervous about wearing a strapless dress for the first time in my life, she talked me through different options to keep it as comfortable as possible. She also squeezed me into her schedule last minute after I decided to go a different direction with a detail of the skirt. I was hesitant about bustling my gown, because of the lightweight fabric, but she had a beautiful solution already up her sleeve. The price came in under what she quoted, but the quality did not suffer at all. I am very pleased that she was recommended by the boutique where I bought my gown. I will recommend her to anybody who asks. -

Caitlin Sent on 03/19/2018I was recommended to Mary by a friend, and luckily I lived pretty close, since Mary works out of the studio in her home. My dress had a huge train and a lot of intricate details - she was able to significantly reduce the bulk of the original train and made an already decent-fitting dress look amazing.
Mary also rents out REAL vintage fur - I rented out a black-and-white vintage shawl that still had the original owner's name embroidered inside. It was so cool, and definitely added a unique touch to my dress. Everyone loved it! -

I got married October 7 th 2011,I went to her to alter my beautiful Simone Carvalli Wedding dress and she was able to do exactly what I wanted. It was some what short notice she was so kind and understood what I was looking for. .Mary does impeccable alterations and is also warm and welcoming. Her prices are fair and her work is fantastic. I would highly recommend Mary for anyone who needs alterations
Mary is the most helpful, professional, organized and knowledgeable seamstress I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. She is classy and empathetic and gave a detailed lesson to my bustle whiteness. She even gave my bride’s maid a diploma certifying her status as official bustle maid. We just loved her.

She also did my maid of honors(who had a baby a month before the wedding) and knew the places to leave a little extra room. Mary brought our dresses to cleaners for the pressing after my final fitting. Wonderful experience. -

Kate Sent on 05/26/2010I used Mary to alter my dress - she had amazing ideas!! I have always loved buttons down the back of wedding dresses, but mine came with a zipper. I didn't even think to ask that we switch it to buttons - but she made the suggestion and I am SO glad she did! The dress looked amazing and I love that she made it original. VERY REASONABLY PRICED! You will not find anyone else with her skill at this price point!! -

Her prices were so reasonable - about 1/2 of what I was told at the store where I purchased my dress. You can google her to find her info. She works out of her home; she does an amazing job!
