The best DJ I’ve ever met!

DJ Manu and Marx Entertainment were phenomenal! My husband and I hired them for our wedding and they created the perfect entertainment experience for us.

Both in the weeks leading up to the event, and on the day itself, DJ Manu was so incredibly kind, communicative, and flexible. Our venue had multiple rooms, but he was well-prepared and had speaker/mic set-ups for the ceremony, dinner, and dancing. He checked in with us throughout the night and made sure we were all on the same page as we moved into each part of the wedding.

And most importantly, the music was incredible. The dance floor was never empty and we received so many compliments on the playlist. People of all ages were out there dancing and having a great time. DJ Manu really knew how to read the room, hype people up, and create an unforgettable experience. I cannot recommend him enough!

Our Story Set to the Perfect Soundtrack

We cannot recommend MARX Events highly enough. From the very first call, it was clear they weren’t just going to show up and press play. They took the time to understand us, our personalities, our vision, and how we wanted the night to feel for our guests. We’re theatre people who met on stage in a period-piece show, and we had a very specific vibe in mind. For the ceremony and cocktail hour, we wanted vintage elegance with music from the 1920s to 1940s. We also wanted to transition naturally into a fun, high-energy dance floor with a little electroswing flair. MARX absolutely nailed it.

DJ Manu was everything we hoped for. He was a fantastic emcee, totally in tune with the room, and had guests on the dance floor without any awkward buildup. We aren’t big dancers ourselves and didn’t want to spend the night managing the energy. We didn’t have to. He handled it all with ease and made it feel effortless.

The photo booth was also a massive hit. Our guests loved it, and so did we. The MARX attendant was amazing. She made sure every guest photo had a duplicate for us, and created a full scrapbook that very night. She even pulled us in for a turn at the booth and placed our photo right up front. That book is now one of our favorite keepsakes from the whole day.

MARX brought our vision to life with professionalism, energy, and so much care. They made the day feel smooth and joyful from start to finish. Absolutely worth it.

Amazing wedding reception DJ!

We worked with DJ Alonzo for our wedding, and he was incredible! He was very adaptable day of, and receptive to our must-play and do-not-play playlists. He did a lot more remixes than we expected and everyone loved it! Hands down the best wedding DJ I have ever seen. Great mix of 2010s throwbacks, modern pop, and oldies for everyone to dance to! Friends were asking for the playlists I gave him afterward to give to their wedding DJs!

Great Wedding DJ!

MARX Entertainment was great to work with for our wedding. They were very responsive and organized and made the process very easy. DJ Manu was great and he really took the time to make sure he understood the music we wanted played at our wedding. He had the guests dancing all night. DJ Alonzo for our wedding!

Alonzo with Marx Entertainment was absolutely fantastic as our wedding DJ! From the start, his communication was fabulous, and the DJ worksheet provided before the wedding made it so easy for us to share exactly what we wanted. Alonzo offered great suggestions on how to structure the flow of music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, including the idea to use an anniversary dance to get everyone on the dance floor.

Alonzo’s ability to mix songs was awesome, and he adapted perfectly to the vibe of the night, even though our guests weren’t the biggest dancers. He read the room effortlessly and kept the evening flowing beautifully. On top of that, his kind and approachable personality made him such a joy to work with.

Thank you so much, Alonzo, for making our wedding day so special!

Got the party going!!

DJ Manu was incredible. He kept the party vibes going and the energy up at our wedding in June 2024! Several people came up to us and said that this was the best dancing they had at a wedding ever. Would definitely recommend MARX entertainment for anyone looking to host a fun wedding!

Amazing Company - DJ Manu played jams all night long!

MARX Entertainment was a no brainer after experiencing their quality at a friend's wedding. We had a great consultation with the owner and readily booked DJ Manu for our wedding. MARX entertainment added the dance floor lights to our package and while I wasn't convinced with needed them, it was a necessary addition to the night. DJ Manu was amazing and so easy to work with - super flexible and really matched our energy and vibe throughout the night. Only great things to say about this company and would recommend them to anyone for their wedding!

DJ Manu was great!

Working with Marx entertainment was so easy. They set up calls for us with several of their DJs so we could decide who would be best for us. DJ Manu was an awesome choice! He was so great to work with. We had two calls with him, one the week before the wedding to talk through the final wedding agenda including pronunciation of wedding party names. DJ Manu kept the party going all night! The dance floor was always packed. He played all the right songs and out guests absolutely loved him! Thank you for such a great night!

A Dream Wedding by a Dream DJ

DJ Manu and Marx Entertainment were central to making our wedding absolutely storybook. From the day we hired them, Marx was incredibly easy to contact and work with- their client portal put power into our hands to shape the playlist and the night to what we wanted, which we appreciated because we have some "wedding classics" that we wanted to ensure were played, and others that we did not want to hear, and Marx's client portal made it super easy to put notes and requests in for what we wanted.

When actually on the phone with Manu, you could tell right away that he not only liked to make a room light up and party, but that he cared to make the experience what *we* wanted, rather than use it as a stage to show off himself. We had some music that was not on the Marx portal or came from a YouTube video, including the bride's aisle walk song, and he made it super easy to make sure it got done as we envisioned. Between his flexibility and his eagerness to make the party memorable and the Marx portal allowing us to put exactly what we wanted, it was set up to be a perfect night.

And when the wedding itself came, perfect is the word to use. From the first dance through the last, Manu made sure there was music going that brought people to the dance floor. He was flexible and open to requests for the older and younger crowds alike, and when the sun went down and everyone turned up, he was right there to keep the energy and party going. Even a week later, we have guests raving about Manu's playlist and the time they had, and our only regret is we couldn't have had a longer time with him. We've recommended him to friends getting married already and to anyone reading this, your DJ search stops here with Marx Entertainment and DJ Manu.

Dancing The Night Away!

James from MARX Entertainment was a delight to work with. He supplied us with sound for our ceremony and was our DJ for the reception. We spoke a few times in advance to go over the timeline and to pick out songs. He was a wealth of knowledge and put us as ease. Our big day went off without a hitch thanks to him. Our band for the cocktail hour got stuck in traffic and arrived 30 minutes late. James didn't even have to be asked, he immediately started playing music for our guests until the band arrived and was ready to go.
He knew exactly what to play and when to play it. When it came to dancing, he got everyone of all ages up on the dancefloor. The dancefloor stayed pack all night long which is all we could have asked for. Thank you James!

Emotional and Got The Party Started!

MARX entertainment was so easy to work with. Jared our DJ was amazing and added personal touches to the entire evening and our first dance. Even though we met him day of he spent a lot of time on song choices, timeline and keeping the night moving along. The GOBO, up lighting and everything turned out perfect. More than expected since we were planning a wedding from Greenville, SC.

Amazing wedding DJ

We had Manu as our wedding DJ and he was AMAZING! Manu was very professional, quick to respond, and a pleasure to work with. From all of our planning meetings we knew we were in good hands and had nothing to worry about. Hire Marx Entertainment and DJ Jared!

Marx Entertainment did an amazing job for our wedding on 09/17/2021. Prior to the wedding they were very responsive with any questions that we had. DJ Jared did a spectacular job at keeping our guests entertained and on the dance floor. We received so many compliments from our guests on how much fun they had and how they loved the music. The photo booth was a hit with our guests and Marx made the cutest scrapbook for us and provided us with a USB with every photo taken during the night. Would (and will) definitely recommend Marx Entertainment (in particular DJ Jared) to all of my family and friends.

5 STARS for MARX and DJ Jared!

After a little poking around for a DJ and Photo Booth, I contacted MARX for a quote and availability. Within that same day, we had a phone call with MARX and booked them immediately! Right off the bat, we loved that MARX was very familiar with our venue (Union Station, Northampton) because he knew just what we needed for our ceremony, lighting, reception, and Photo Booth. We felt at ease and free of stress after booking with MARX! We enjoyed being able to build our song selections ahead of time in addition to selecting songs for our ceremony and naming the people in our bridal party. Prior to the big day, we had a phone call with DJ Jared to go over everything, and he was very organized, experienced and professional. He told us he had been to our venue many times and enjoyed going there, and he was right!!! We trusted him to make our day exactly what we'd hoped. The day of our wedding, everything went extremely smooth thanks to DJ Jared. The ceremony music, cocktail music, and reception music was all exactly what we'd hoped. Our dance floor was busy all night long, and DJ Jared did an amazing job reading the crowd, taking requests, and even playing "Sweet Caroline" for an encore song at the end of the night after our guests begged for one more song. DJ Jared made our day feel personalized and special! Having the photo booth incorporated with MARX made it SO EASY. Our guests LOVED the Photo Booth and had a ton of fun using the props against the fun back-drop. The best part of the photo booth is that we as the bride and groom got a scrapbook that night made with all of the photos in addition to a USB stick with the photos! Thank you, MARX!!!

DJ Manu - above & beyond wonderful DJ!

Marx Entertainment did an exceptional job with our wedding ceremony and reception. They provided a dedicated online portal where we could easily share lists of our song preferences and we were also able to meet both over the phone and in person with our DJ prior to the event to discuss details. Our DJ, Manu, went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure a successful event. He was in touch with us via phone and text a few days prior to finalize details, he arrived several (4-5!) hours early to make sure everything was set up correctly and sounding great, and once things got started I don’t think he took even a 5 minute break! The music was great, he was a welcoming and enthusiastic MC, and I can’t think of a single complaint. He even thanked US at the end for such a fun and warm event. We were so happy. We would hire them again in a second!

MARX Entertainment is a must!

We hired Marx Entertainment for our wedding in July 2021 and they did not disappoint! Jared was absolutely fantastic! Before the wedding, he went over all of the details, including song picks, and gave super helpful tips to make the night extra fun. On the day of the wedding, Jared made sure everything ran smoothly. He kept everything flowing throughout the day and then encouraged everyone to get out on the dance floor that night with some awesome music. Everyone had a blast! Jared also checked on us throughout the night to make sure we had everything we needed. He was the perfect addition to our wedding!

Wonderful!

We hired MARX for our wedding and they were amazing!! Alonzo was a fantastic DJ and kept the party going the whole night. The photo booth was so much fun and the attendants were extremely friendly and helpful. The uplighting looked great. Manu was great!

My husband and I changed our original wedding plans, with COVID-19. Marx Entertainment was happy to adjust our plans for our big day, on short notice, and they executed wonderfully. The online system was great for inputting the important songs for us throughout the day – processional, recessional, first dance, etc. Manu was a great DJ - he completely got our musical tastes with little guidance from us. He was happy to work with us on exactly how we wanted our big day to go and we couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out. Thank you!

DJ John was Incredible

Marx entertainment was an incredible company to work with. We talked with Cora, the operations manager, and Mark, who is the president of the company, and they both were extremely prompt with their responses and they came up with a couple of DJs who they thought we would like and their first pick was the DJ we went with - DJ John.
DJ John, who we affectionately dubbed DJ BJ (Big John) was more than we could every have asked for. He had great energy, a super positive attitude, and we just clicked from our first phone conversation. He was down to do/try anything and he was really focused on everyone having a good time at the reception. He got everyone on up on the dance floor and played a wide variety of music that appealed to everyone. He also worked very closely with the rest of our vendor team to make sure that everything went off without a hitch and that my fiance and I had the best time possible. John was amazing and we loved having him for our special day.

Great Vendor

Marx Entertainment was great to work with. DJ Manu was friendly, professional, and did an awesome job incorporating the music we wanted with selections appropriate to the time of the event. He showed up on time and handled everything we needed for the entertainment without us having to worry about it. Their online system makes it easy to keep track of your song selections and also provides a helpful starting point in browsing for music. The lighting they provided was also nice and we felt the pricing was very reasonable. We would recommend Marx and were happy to have them handling entertainment for our wedding day.

DJ Jared is the man!

My husband and I chose Marx Entertainment to DJ our wedding because they were on the preferred list through our wedding venue and they did not disappoint. The whole process of booking and finding the right DJ was effortless. They were quick to respond and recommended several DJs for our wedding. We chose DJ Jared and he was amazing. He was very accommodating to our eclectic music taste (EDM) and even mixed a little at our wedding. He was very attentive throughout the night, kept checking in to make sure everything was good and kept people on the dance floor all night. We will definitely book him for any future events that we have and would highly recommend him for any of yours.

So glad we went with Marx Entertainment for our wedding. We had DJ Jared and he was excellent! He was very helpful and patient through the planning part and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. Everyone danced the night away

The songs we wanted to hear were played, even songs that aren't common. DJ Jared came up to us throughout the night just to make sure we were happy. The photo booth was perfect and the album they made captured so many memories. I'm so thankful to have them part of our day.

Manu is the BEST DJ you could ask for

We are so happy we chose Manu as our DJ. We had only one or two calls with Manu but the online planner you fill in made this part of wedding planning easy. It was easy to enter all of our 'do not play' songs, and we were able to carefully curate our cocktail hour songs, which I was thrilled with. DJ Manu is truly wonderful, he's so happy and fun, and everyone raved about the songs that were played. He did a great job at introductions and following pretty complicated instructions that my husband gave for intros and it was perfect. We are very pleased that we decided to go with Marx and specifically Manu as our DJ.

Dancing all night!

When we started wedding planning, we were not sure we needed to hire a DJ - but we are so glad that we did! While we thought we could hand a playlist over to a friend, we were impressed by the expertise, experience, and skill that DJ Manu (Chris Maleko) brought to our reception.

From our first meeting with him, DJ Manu seemed to understand the kind of vibe we wanted and what we were looking for. We told him that we didn’t really want an MC, but just needed him to play some great music. Boy did he deliver!

Transitions were smooth, and he honored our requests while making sure there was a mix of songs that kept people of all ages on the dance floor the entire time. We have been to weddings where the couple is trying to get people back onto an empty dance floor - and that was never a problem for us! People had a great time the whole night, from 5-year-olds to my 92-year-old grandmother (and the mostly 20s crowd in between).

We also had them play songs for the ceremony processional and recessional, and rented mics and speakers for the ceremony as well. Everything was set up wonderfully. We appreciated meeting with Manu in advance to talk about our preferences and what we wanted, and also appreciated Marx’s very clear online platform to list our song requests. We could easily enter what songs we wanted for the ceremony, what we wanted to play during the cocktail hour and songs we definitely wanted, would prefer, and would not want during dancing. It was helpful to know it was all written down in one place.

We are so happy that we hired Marx entertainment to bring their equipment and the skills of DJ Manu to our wedding at the Montague Retreat Center in Montague, MA!

Dj jared killed it

DJ Jared was so easy and fun to work with! He 100% got the vibe we were going for on our wedding day (country/day drinking music during cocktail hour, throw back music during dinner, and party music for dancing). Hire Them!!

Wow! I am so beyond happy that we decided to book Marx Entertainment. They were suggested to us by our venue and I know why! Their package had everything: DJ, ceremony music, uplighting, and photo booth! They were so responsive and professional! We had DJ Alonzo for our wedding and he was absolutely amazing! He kept the dance floor packed all night and went above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect! He even called me while I was getting ready to double check where we wanted the florist to our flowers so that everything was absolutely perfect! The photo booth was amazing as well, the attendants even came and found my husband and to make sure that we got the chance to go in and take some pictures. And the scrap book that they made for us was beautiful, it was the perfect keepsake from the day! Hiring Marx Entertainment was the best decision that my husband and I made!

Perfect Party

We booked DJ Manu from Marx Entertainment for our January 19th Wedding. After getting some outrageous quotes from other area DJs, we contacted Marx and purchased a very reasonable DJ package. From the ceremony microphones and cocktail hour music, to the uplighting, dinner music, and our awesome reception, DJ Manu was professional, fun, and kept the party going! His introductions were perfect and he kept to the schedule we discussed. Marx Entertainment uses a cool program where my now-husband and I could log in and add songs to our "must-play" list and our "do-not-play" list. It was convenient, easy, and allowed us to personalize our reception a little more! All in all, Marx and DJ Manu were a pleasure to work with, great value for the price, and helped to make our wedding day wonderful!

DJ Craig is hands down the best!

One of the most memorable things that still stands out to our wedding guests was our DJ. DJ Craig absolutely nailed it. His music selection was spot on. He kept all of our guests out on the dance floor throughout the entire night.

Craig and Marx entertainment in general were so easy to work with. Craig called us many times before the wedding day to go over all the details and make sure that he had everything right. Marx Entertainment has a user friendly portal that you can plan out all of your details from your photobooth, to your first dance song selection.

Go with DJ Craig and you will NOT be disappointed. He created the best atmosphere and everyone was having a good time.

John Williams - awesome DJ!

We had John Williams as our DJ from MARX Enertainment and he was honestly the best DJ we could have imagined. We first met over the phone when he called to learn about our wedding, musical tastes, songs we don't like, and major moment music (first dance, father/daughter, etc...) That phone call made my wife and I feel immediately like we were in good hands especially since we were planning the entire wedding 500 miles away from where it would take place. We were able to send him songs we wanted for the reception to match our "rustic romantic" theme and for the cocktail hour. I remember hearing a lot of them so it made me feel like he actually listened to what we were hoping to hear. John was able to play songs that got all ages of our guests moving and dancing from my wife's 2 year old nephew up through our great aunts and uncles. It was truly a blast and I don't think I saw the dance floor empty once. I couldn't recommend John Williams and MARX Entertainment enough thank you for such a great night.

Alonzo (our DJ) and Marx were great!

Marx was great to work with on my daughter's bat mitzvah in October. Alonzo, our DJ, was there in advance and very open to the music we wanted. He was great with the kids and has a warm, fun personality. We especially appreciated that if a particular song wasn't attracting kids to the dance floor or was causing people to leave the floor, he would quickly replace the song with something that might have a better reception. That's what you want from a DJ. I highly recommend Alonzo and Marx.

DJ Jared was everything a DJ should be and more!

For me, choosing a music vibe for our wedding was right up there with choosing my dress. Jared understood that and made us feel comfortable throughout the process. During planning, he was professional and easy to communicate with. On our wedding day, he was on top of everything. Its like I didn't know he was there, and the music was always what it should be, where it should be. During the reception, people couldn't stay away from the dance floor. He always found me or my husband if he had a question.

DJ Jared from Marx Entertainment was great! He played all the best music, and checked in with us several times throughout the course of the night to make sure we thought everything was going well and to see if we needed anything.

They have a really great web portal where you can track songs that must be played, or that shouldn't be played. We didn't end up using that too much - we got on a call with Jared, and ended up e-mailing him directly, but the portal would have been a valuable tool had we had our stuff together enough to have actually used it. ha!

We also enjoyed working with the company overall. We learned about them when we attended a bridal expo and ended up attending a happy hour event at their office where we were able to meet a few dj's, learn more about their services, and of course have a few treats and drinks. We ended up getting free uplighting as part of our package for booking their services during that event, which was a bonus.

John was an amazing DJ. I received many compliments from the guests on the music selection. He worked with us to create a do play/do not play list and even (in his own time) created a mix song that we used as our first dance. He walked us through how to create our timeline, and provided advice as to when to have each event. He met with us multiple times and always responded to our emails to ensure that we were all set. He easily created a stress-free environment during an extremely stressful time, and I can't thank him enough for that.

We also hired the photo booth from them. The guests loved this. Their photobooth can be open or closed and they also create a scrapbook for you of all the photos taken. They do not have a max amount of print outs and instead you hire it by the hour. At the end of the night you are given a scrapbook/guestbook of all the photos along with a USB drive with the digital copies. The attendants were helpful and fun and created a great environment. The photobooth was a great addition and we were glad to be able to add it!

Jared from MARX Entertainment was PHENOMENAL!! Our wedding was in Saugerties, NY on June 22nd and he was willing to drive all the way out for our night! We went with the DJ Services with Uplighting and Jared provided helpful hints and suggestions to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. One of my favorite parts about MARX services, is the fact that they send you a virtual DJ program where you can add song requests, see song suggestions, plan the timeline, etc. It was a great way to keep everything organized, and a way to communicate with the DJ during the planning process.
On the day of the wedding, about 2 minutes before the reception began, Jared was flexible and allowed us to make two major changes before we kicked the night off!
The dance floor was pretty much filled from 8pm-11pm when the wedding ended!e photos they had taken. Anyone looking for a quality DJ at a very affordable price -- should look no further than MARX Entertainment!!

Marx Entertainment exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding at the Log Cabin in Holyoke. We booked the package that included a DJ/MC, uplighting and a photo booth. A couple of words to describe their service: professional, communicative, uncomplicated and personable. Our DJ for the evening was DJ Tommy. He kept the dance floor rockin’ until 1:30AM. We had many European guests in attendance and he played a perfect mix of American, French and German music. All of our guests had nothing but compliments for his performance! In the run-up to the wedding, he was always available for questions, personal meet-ups or anything else we needed. The photo booth was also an amazing value for the cost. It included two attendants who were already completely set up by the time we arrived at the venue. Then when we left, they had prepared a full scrap book (and separate USB drive) containing notes from our guests, as well as all of the photos they had taken. All in all, it would be hard to deliver more than Marx and we highly recommend them to any of our friends and family hosting an event in the future.

This crazy wedding ride started in early 2017, I found out about the “Marx Military Dream Wedding giveaway”, this program awards the winning active or retired Military recipient a dream wedding, all I had to do was submit an essay. I wrote an essay about Shannon’s military service or what I knew about it, and our lives together, submitted it and forgot about it. December 20th 2017, we met Mark Ashe of Marx Entertainment. The Marx Entertainment group and a large list of participating vendors who volunteered and provided their services for the Dream Wedding. April 19th 2018 at 6:00pm, it had all come together. It truly was a “Dream Wedding”. This would not have been possible without Mark Ashe and his staff of Marx Entertainment, they were all amazing. Mark arranged and worked with other vendors to make sure we would have everything for our wedding provided with no worries. Marx Entertainment Company provided the music DJ who was amazing he had the place rocking, the staff running the wedding photo-booth which was such a big hit we now have a bunch of funny pictures of our guests. I personally want to thank Marx Entertainment for helping me create a running video from pictures of Shannon, her military career her deployment to Iraq, this video allowed people to see a small glimpse of why Shannon is so deserving of this Dream Wedding. You all made this happen and seem effortless and we believe it was because of your genuine belief in this event and the commitment to all of the Military veterans such as Military Police Sergeant Shannon Hosmer (now Rowell). When searching for a DJ for our wedding, I'll admit, we had some challenging requirements. Chief amongst which, is that our DJ was fluent in Polish and be familiar with certain cultural wedding traditions, as the bride's family is largely native Polish speakers. DJ Tommy Sands was our guy.

When we first met with DJ Tommy, it was clear he was much different from the other DJs we'd met in the past. He had a great sense of timing events surrounding the wedding, and how to make things run smoothly. I'll never forget when he gave us a tip saying that no matter how much he encouraged people to dance, we as the wedding couple needed to lead by example. Boy was he right!! Whenever we danced, the floors filled, and it was hilarious to observe the effect.

Throughout the night, DJ Tommy would show to be our guiding light. When times were a bit off from the schedule, he made thoughtful and insightful suggestions on how to shift things around and keep things running smoothly. His calm and positive attitude helped *us* remain calm and positive. He even managed to help us avoid the bride's mother who was being particularly difficult at times!

We had Jared as a DJ, as well as the PhotoBooth, from Marx Entertainment. They were both wonderful. We met with Jared several times previously and he was great to work with! He mixed new music with wedding classics perfectly and many people told us that he was the best DJ they ever heard! We used Marx Entertainment for our wedding in July 2017. We can only say amazing things about the company and our dj! Very responsive, easy to set up a meeting with a dj, and so easy to select the songs desired on the online portal.
Our dj was Thom, and he did an amazing job. The dance floor was packed the whole night! He was able to tell the vibe of the crowd to keep the party going. When we first met with him, we told him our overall vision for our wedding reception was that we wanted it to be a PARTY, and he achieved just that.

They say what makes a great wedding is good food, and a good DJ. Well we definitely made the right choice hiring MARX Entertainment. We had DJ Tommy and he was AWESOME! He was so great at listening to what we wanted but also adding his own touch to the music. We were able to decide all the music for cocktail hour and dinner. DJ Jared was amazing!!! He helped keep our wedding day organized and on track and played music to keep us dancing all night long. I highly recommend getting the photo booth, not only was it a blast but the photo book you get at the end of the night is an instant wedding scrapbook. DJ Manu was absolutely fantastic and had our guests dancing the whole night! He played exactly what we asked for and is great at mixing music so it doesn't sound like a CD going from one song to the next. The photo booth was the best I have seen at any wedding and the staff was even kind enough to print some full size pictures for my family. We couldn't have been more pleased with the level of professionalism and desire to please by Marx Entertainment. The pricing was very good and they even through in a military discount. I definitely recommend them for your entertainment needs.

We had DJ Jarad for our wedding day. He was in communication with us throughout the entire process, he was friendly, responsive, and very engaged in the planning.. He was able to customize tracks for our wedding processional and for the first dance. The uplighting was appropriately placed throughout the venue and added a very nice touch to our venue. The music volume was great for the venue and he worked with the acoustics of the room. The music timing was perfect - no delays, no awkward pauses between songs.
I sent Jarad a list of 87 songs in preparation for the wedding (I am very particular). He was able to use that list in collaboration with some of his own picks. Everyone enjoyed the dancing. In preparation for the day we picked out key songs including the last song of the night. My only complaint was that after the last song of the night was played, he played an encore song which was not on my list, and also one of my most hated songs - FUN's "We are Young". That was a bummer, but luckily, I was drunk enough to not care by that point.

Absolutely Brilliant!!! From Jared the DJ to the ladies at the photo booth.......I am in this business and would hire all these employees myself!! When we started wedding planning I did a lot of research for DJ's, photo booths, and uplighting as I live in California, so fortunate to have decided on Marx Entertainment! They were great and the DJ and I constantly Face timed before the wedding to ensure the music was right! On the day of the reception they were so professional and really made the night even that much better! Guests constantly came up to my wife and I and said how awesome the photo booth ladies were and the DJ was amazing all night!! I would recommend Marx to anyone who would listen!!!! Tommy was awesome. He knew what songs to play and when, and even though we had a smaller wedding party, so many people were up and dancing. He was very accommodating, and made sure that he pronounced all of the last names in the parties correctly (we had some Chinese and Polish names, so they were complicated). I would definitely recommend Tommy to anyone - great job!!

DJ Tommy was a pleasure to work with. He was THE BEST DJ we could have hoped for. From the pre-wedding planning to the actually day, everything went so smoothly. We are still getting comments from friends and family telling us "that was the best/most fun wedding I've ever been to".. and we owe a lot of it to him.

We had DJ Jared and he did an amazing job! He was able to make everything flow seamlessly (even though we were a bit disorganized on our wedding day) and had our guests on the dance floor all evening! We also got the photobooth which is absolutely worth the extra cost, our guests loved it and we got an amazing keepsake album. We were so happy with MARX Entertainment and would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Working with Marx Entertainment and DJ Thom was the best experience! Everything was perfect and the process leading up to our big day was so easy. Thom instantly understood our musical tastes after meeting with him and he had us and our guests dancing all night (my feet are still sore days later)! I could go on for days talking about how truly perfect Marx and Thom made our wedding, from the ceremony to the last song played. Great DJ service! From start to finish, everyone we spoke with was extremely helpful and generally excited to be a part of the celebration. Their online portal made planning the event very easy. We were able to take our time gathering songs we wanted to hear during our wedding celebration and really customize our experience. DJ Manu the best, and probably one of the nicest guys I've ever met. He kept everyone dancing all night and played everything we requested. His attention to detail really made it a special night. He was easy to contact before the wedding and very quick to respond to emails. Cannot thank him enough for an incredible night.

We got so lucky with DJ Tommy. He really went above and beyond to make our day special. He was very easy to talk to and had a lot of great advice. You could really tell he loves what he does. My husband and I were so blown away by him. He went far beyond our expectations! He organized us and made sure everything was being done on time from walking down the aisle, to dinner and first dances, to the cake cutting. He was very attentive to our needs, even beyond the music. The music was wonderful, he played everything we asked and always at the right time. We had such an overall great experience with Marx Entertainment and DJ Tommy was the icing on the cake! They made it so easy for us to just relax and enjoy our day. I would recommend them to anyone having an event!

I worked mostly with Gladys and she was AMAZING! Our Dj Austyn was also awesome to work with and did such a great job all night to keep everyone out on the dance floor. I also got a photobooth from Marx and it was everyone's favorite part of the night and they made us a keepsake book with all the phot strips that I'll treasure forever!

We had Jared as a DJ for our wedding in July 2016. He met with us prior and had us complete a questionnaire that consisted of songs that MUST be played as well as songs that must NOT be played. He was professional and courteous and checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we were doing okay. The dance floor did not clear once and he certainly set the tone for the wedding. He was able to keep both the younger and older adults singing and dancing all night long! We are so happy with their service. We will continue to recommend Marx entertainment and Jared to anyone who asks!

We hired DJ Tommy for our wedding in Western MA on August 20th. Tommy was a delight to work with. He was incredibly responsive through email and made himself available to chat on the phone and meet in person in the months leading up to our wedding. We gave Tommy a list of songs that we would like for him to play during dinner and dancing. He played several songs that we requested and did a great job feeling out our crowd and playing some classic music for our older guests. We were very pleased with Tommy's professionalism and his obvious enjoyment of his job. We would highly recommend Tommy!

Tommy the DJ was great. Very attentive and made our wedding very special. He listened to all the special things and songs we asked for. We wanted a dance party and we got one. I'm the daughter of a former radio DJ, so to say I'm picky when it comes to music would be a major understatement. DJ Tommy did not seem annoyed or irritated with my obscenely long DO NOT PLAY and MUST PLAY lists. Instead, he welcomed them!! He took it all in and absolutely made the evening with his ability to get everyone moving all night long. I really can't recommend him enough. So nice, so genuine, and a complete and total professional. Truly, the entire crew at Marx Entertainment was amazing and we so thankful!

Marx Entertainment was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! DJ Tommy was spectacular and a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding. He coordinated the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception flawlessly, and kept our guests dancing all night long. We have received so many compliments on the music at our wedding, and all kudos go to DJ Tommy!

I also can't say enough kind words about Gladys, who helped to coordinate our booking, and who ran the photo booth at the wedding. Our guests loved the photo booth, and we loved the artfully arranged scrapbook in our wedding colors that we received at the end of the night with all of their pictures and messages to us!

We worked with Tommy from Marx Entertainment and we could not have been more pleased! Tommy was fantastic...we felt instantly comfortable working with him, and he was incredibly easy to work with throughout the entire planning process. On the day of the wedding, there were a couple hiccups-a last minute change of ceremony location and a missing cake when it came time for the cutting of the cake. No stress- Tommy was on it! Needless to say, Tommy was awesome and went with the flow and helped problem solve so we could continue to enjoy the day...we were incredibly appreciative. In addition, everyone loved the photo both and Michelle and Kevin did a wonderful job...the photo booth is a MUST!
Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Marx Entertainment for any of your future entertainment needs!

OUTSTANDING!!! That is really the only word you need. Everything from the initial meeting, to follow-up with the company, follow-up with the DJ, the ceremony and the reception was professional, easy, fun. Weddings are stressful. We had Tommy as our DJ. He was brilliant. He made sure that everything went perfectly from the ceremony to the last dance. He checked in with us, accommodated our sometimes silly requests, made sure our guests were happy on the dance floor, and kept the party going. He also installed the uplighting and had a light machine on the dance floor that just made our whole reception pop. From the beginning of our planning until we danced our last dance at the reception, Marx Entertainment was with us every step of the way and we couldn't have been happier. We highly recommend Marx for your DJ needs.

We had DJ Jared from Marx and he was awesome! He kept in touch with us and helped us choose songs to fit our theme and checked up on us during dinner and cocktail hour to see if we needed anything and to double check that we remained on schedule. I appreciated his attention to detail and that he was able to improvise based on what changes I wanted to make at the last minute. Marx even gave my husband and I a military discount and is flexible with the off chance my husband would have been deployed on our wedding date. We would recommend this company to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

We cannot say enough positive things about Marx Entertainment and specifically DJ Tommy. He was incredibly nice, available by email/phone/text at any time and gave us exactly what we wanted. He cared about making our wedding personal to us and our guests, he was incredibly flexible about when during the night certain dances were happening and checked in towards the end to ensure we were having a good time. Our guests had the nicest things to say about his professionalism and quality of songs, the dance floor was full the ENTIRE time. We couldn't be happier in our decision to hire Marx, Tommy listened to every request and made our wedding personal and super fun!
