Martoca Beach Garden is THE wedding venue.
I have heard horror stories of trying to plan a destination wedding; however, this was the easiest experience I have ever had. Having a full service venue with the best wedding planner, photographers, florists, servers, bartenders, fireworks -- honestly Martoca has the best of everything. As a bride, not having to look through every vendor and navigating contracts and figuring out taxes and gratuity was so helpful when planning a wedding in a different country.
The thing I appreciated the most was how quick and easy the communication was with Jimmy and Mariana. They also understood and respected our budget without trying to do any up-selling and even helped us take some of the more expensive budget items off and had other similar options within our price range that they suggested. You truly feel like family and not like a number to them, which was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. And when there that one day event in Puerto Vallarta, Jimmy was very upfront and honest about everything and I never felt like he was hiding anything. That being said, I and my guests walked around Puerto Vallarta (I got married in March) and felt so safe. If any guests have concerns, they should look at the live cameras and see how the boardwalk and life was immediately back to normal.
One of the best parts, besides the most amazing wedding day, was the tasting day. My husband and I signed a contract sight unseen, so when it came to tour the venue and do the tasting we were very excited. I was not expecting the food to be as amazing as it was. One of the top responses from our guests was how fresh and amazing the food was. And I completely changed my vision and the whole staff got out the different tables I was envisioning during the tasting and wedding planning day without complaint. I didn't have to change a single thing in terms of florals and the hardest part was figuring out what tasty cocktails to serve at cocktail hour because all were so good and same with the food. Also, the al pastor tacos and churros are a MUST for the late night snacks.
The day of the wedding was so easy and I didn't have to stress about a single thing because Mariana and her whole team had timelines for me, my husband and our wedding party and family. I always knew where I needed to be and what time every little thing was. The staff also never let any guest have an empty drink, which for a wedding of about 80, was so impressive. They were even bringing rounds of shots out onto the dance floor and drinks, so the party never had to stop.
I do recommend the fireworks and the donkey! The fireworks are sooo impressive and your guests will love taking photos with the worlds cutest burro.
The Martoca Film team needs their own special shout out. I came with 0 inspiration photos and said just do whatever they wanted and they delivered! Every photo and video we received, you can just see the artistry behind the camera. And they were so much fun and easy to be around. I truly loved the whole team and they are BEYOND talented.
I could write a book on how amazing our wedding was and how easy the whole process was. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any other questions. If you are thinking about going with any one besides Martoca, you are doing yourself a disservice. I may be biased, but this was the best wedding I have ever been to. And we had guests tell us that they wish they knew about this venue when they got married because it was the most magical day for them as well -- which says a lot. Our wedding in Mexico was truly a dream come true, and we’re so grateful to this incredible team, Marisol, Fatima, Giovanni, Paola, and Luis, for making it all happen so seamlessly.
I do want to briefly speak to safety, since I know it can be a concern. We were aware of the broader issues and didn’t want to ignore them, but our actual experience was completely positive. The wedding took place in a safe, well-established tourist area, and both we and our guests felt comfortable the entire time. Destination weddings like this are thoughtfully planned in secure locations, and it really showed.
From start to finish, the planning process was so easy and stress-free. The team was responsive, organized, and genuinely cared about bringing our vision to life. On the day itself, everything was beyond beautiful, our guests couldn’t stop talking about the stunning setting and how amazing the food was.
It was everything I could have ever wanted and more, the perfect, fun, and unforgettable way to start our marriage. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.Martoca Weddings's reply:

I couldn't recommend Martoca more for a wedding! As a bride who didn't have a lot of extra time to plan, Mar (Martoca wedding planner), was on top of everything and took my vision boards and brought them to real life. The food, staff, DJ, decor, walk through visit, food tasting, etc. was all perfection. Our guests didn't stop talking about how beautiful and fun the night was and as the bride & groom, we have nothing but great things to say about Martoca and the Martoca family.
If you are considering a wedding here -DO IT! The venue is very intimate overlooking the beach and we are forever grateful to Martoca creating the best night of our lives!Martoca Weddings's reply:

The perfect wedding!
The team at Martoca was amazing. They were extremely responsive and easy to work with from day 1. They made everything so easy for us planning the wedding from the US. The contract was easy to understand and included everything we needed for the day which made it so easy not having to work with any individual vendor directly. I can’t say enough good things about the team including the owner, our wedding planner, the bartenders, the video and photo team, the saxophonist, the wait staff, and the dj. Wedding planning with Martoca was an absolute dream. Despite signing our contract without a venue visit, Mariana and team made the entire process seamless & gave me full confidence we would have the wedding of our dreams. Mar was always available over text for whatever questions or new ideas I had and the team was really able to bring my Pinterest board to life. Wedding planning should truly by as easy as it was with Martoca.
The venue is more stunning than their gorgeous Instagram posts can capture, the food is even better than the reviews mention and our guests praised how well the staff took care of them — their drinks were never empty.
The timing and guidance provided by Mar on the day of was perfect. From the mariachi to the fireworks everything flowed so smoothly ensuring all we had to worry about was enjoying our day.

Our wedding at this venue was an absolute dream. The space itself is stunning—every corner was picture-perfect, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the ceremony setup, reception space, décor, the florals, and sunset back drop!
The food was truly 10/10, and the service matched it. The bar team was phenomenal, and multiple guests told us the late-night tacos and churros were the best they’ve ever had.
Entertainment was another major highlight. Our DJ was phenomenal and kept the energy perfect throughout the night. We also opted to have a live saxophonist during dinner, and his performances were absolutely top-notch—one of the most memorable touches of the entire evening.
Our photography and videography teams (both Martoca films) were amazing as well. They captured every moment so beautifully and made us feel comfortable, natural, and genuinely taken care of throughout the day.
Planning was seamless, especially for someone who is not Type A. I trusted Marisol with all things and solely provided her with my inspo board and she beyond nailed it. Communication was impeccable from start to finish, and the day-of coordination was completely flawless. I felt supported, never stressed, and truly able to enjoy every moment.
Every guest said this wedding was the best they had ever been to! I would choose this venue again without a second thought and recommend it a thousand times over. An unforgettable experience in every way.

We had our wedding at Martoca Beach Garden on November 8, 2025, with 37 adults and 4 children, and the experience was absolutely amazing.
Mariana truly went above and beyond my expectations. I’m a pretty “type B” bride, so I only sent her a few inspiration photos — yet she somehow created the wedding of my dreams. I didn’t even visit the venue beforehand, so walking in and seeing everything come to life was such an incredible surprise.
The Venue Itself
The venue was elegant, private, and beautifully maintained — you can tell how much care goes into keeping the property pristine. We loved the intimate atmosphere, which made the entire day feel personal and special.
Martoca also provided transportation, which made everything easy and stress-free. Our guests stayed at Secrets and Dreams Bahia Mita, so it was only a quick Uber ride away.
The Team & Service
The entire Martoca team was phenomenal.
Mariana was extremely communicative and always reached out whenever decisions were needed.
Fátima was also wonderful — she was easy to reach and always filled in seamlessly when Mariana wasn’t available.
Martoca Films — truly the best. I was initially nervous about booking an in-house photography/videography team, but they exceeded every expectation. They made me feel so comfortable, captured every moment I requested, and worked tirelessly (and cheerfully!) despite the heat. I couldn’t have asked for a better team.
Wait and Bartending Staff — amazing! They were attentive, friendly, and always made sure our glasses were full (and that my husband and I stayed hydrated with water, too!).
DJ — absolutely outstanding. I don’t say this lightly because I had a lot of special requests, including Korean music. He blended and transitioned everything so smoothly that the energy never dropped. As the MC, he kept the night flowing perfectly, adapting quickly to any changes — and he has a great announcer voice!
Food & Drinks
To be honest, the food wasn’t the highlight — but that’s mostly on me, since we weren’t able to visit beforehand for a tasting.
Guests really enjoyed the mole negra, which was soft and flavorful. The surf and turf, however, missed the mark — the steak was a bit tough and rubbery. The cheesecake guanábana dessert had mixed reviews.
That said, the late-night churros and tacos were a total hit! Everyone loved them, and it made up for anyone who didn’t finish their main course.
Wedding Day Experience
The day itself was everything we hoped for. It was a very hot day, but the team worked efficiently and helped us move slightly ahead of schedule to keep guests comfortable. Everyone adapted quickly, and the whole event ran seamlessly.
Guest Feedback
Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the venue was — several even said it was one of the best weddings they’d ever attended (and I may be biased, but I agree 😄).
Many guests also complimented Martoca Films, saying how attentive and professional the photographers were, and they can’t wait to see the photos and videos!
Final Thoughts & Recommendation
My husband and I would 100% recommend Martoca Beach Garden to any future couples. The venue, team, and overall experience were simply unforgettable.
Our only tip: if possible, visit beforehand to choose your menu. Otherwise, trust that Mariana will take incredible care of you — she’s amazing and will make sure your day is everything you dreamed of.Martoca Weddings's reply:

And yes, we like to offer a tasting before but if you cannot do a tasting we suggest dishes like the short rib mole that you liked or the baked fish filet or pan fried fish. We like to suggest dishes that your guests may not be able to get in the USA. It is hard to beat a USA Prime steak although we do use Prime beef. But no one beats our moles or our seafood :)
Regarding the dessert made of guayana, yes, it is not for everyone :) One of those love it or "meh" type of desserts. Guayaba fruit is very typical here though in USA not many know it. I suggest have 2 types of dessert if we offer an exotic fruit cheesecake... Maybe suggest the creme bruleé and then the cheesecake served "one and one"...
Anyway, I know it is your one time to get married in Martoca :) but just in case future brides want suggestions, I figured we can address this here.

My wife and I are so glad that we chose Martoca for our wedding celebration. It was truly a dream and exceeded all expectations.
Marisol, Fatima, Jimmy, the photographer/videographers and the rest of the Martoca crew were extremely easy to work with and accommodated all of our asks. Whenever we had a question or idea, we’d get an immediate response. No ask was too big (within reason) and the Martoca team made the planning process super easy and a joyful experience.
From the moment we inquired about the venue, we received the best customer service. We even video called Marisol to see the venue and ended up putting down the deposit before seeing the venue in person. When we finally saw the venue for the first time, it was even more beautiful. It is literally the most stunning venue.
The day of our wedding exceeded all expectations. To see everything come together was truly special. From the moment we arrived to the end of the night, everything was perfect. We had so many guests tell us that this was the best wedding that they had ever been to. My cousin said that he’s been to over 40 weddings and this was by far the most beautiful and fun yet. The service was exceptional, the servers and bartenders went above and beyond to ensure all of our guests were happy. My wife and I are still in shock and feel like it was a dream!

We were recently married in Mexico at Martoca Beach Garden, located just outside of Puerto Vallarta in Bucerías. It’s easily one of the most intimate and stunning venues I’ve ever seen for an event. Granted, it was our wedding, so I’m definitely biased, but the breathtaking location and views are hard to beat.
We discovered this venue online three years ago and originally planned for a May 2023 wedding. As frequent visitors to Mexico—having gotten engaged in Sayulita—the location was incredibly important to us. During one of our pre-wedding visits, the Martoca team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. They not only gave us a full tour of the venue but also took us to an offsite location where they showcased a variety of chairs, tables, glassware, and other details. They even prepared a full menu tasting with cocktails, allowing us to customize our selections and visualize exactly how everything would look on our special day.
We had the pleasure of meeting Jimmy, the owner of the beautiful venue, and Mar, our absolutely indispensable wedding planner. Unfortunately, life threw us a curveball, and we had to postpone the wedding until November 2024. Despite this setback, the Martoca team continued to work with us for the entire year and a half leading up to the new date. They never once made us feel any less important. We also became close with Fatima, another amazing team member who kept us updated via WhatsApp on any menu or item changes and guided us through the entire process.
Finally, the big day arrived, and the Martoca team handled everything flawlessly. We stayed at a hotel in Puerto Vallarta, and they arranged buses to transport our 80 guests to and from the venue safely. The photography and videography team were outstanding—they made us feel like celebrities being followed by paparazzi. The team included four on-site professionals and a fifth who coordinated with us beforehand to ensure every shot we wanted was captured.
The venue exceeded every one of our expectations. The drinks, appetizers, and dinner were some of the best we’ve ever had in Mexico, staying true to the region’s authentic flavors. The fireworks we had over the ocean were bigger and brighter than anything I expected and I cannot recommend it enough if you are interested in using this venue. The entire team was not only professional and organized but also warm and welcoming.
What truly stood out was the seamless care and attention to detail. We didn’t have to lift a finger—Mar and her team handled everything. Our family, friends, and, most importantly, my bride and I, had one of the most magical nights of our lives, all thanks to the exceptional team at Martoca Beach Garden. WE LOVE YOU!!

We had the absolute dream wedding at Martoca Beach Garden! From the very beginning, Jimmy, the owner, was incredibly helpful in working with our budget while still ensuring we had all the beautiful and luxurious details that make Martoca weddings so magical. Unlike hotels or resorts, Martoca includes so many extras that truly elevate the experience.
The venue itself is breathtaking—whether you opt for a simple or extravagant setup, it’s bound to be stunning and picturesque. Our wedding planner, Mariana, was a dream to work with. She was incredibly communicative, often responding within minutes, and made the entire planning process seamless. Since we couldn’t visit in person beforehand, we had to fully trust the process—and I can confidently say that the team exceeded our expectations. They took our Pinterest board and inspiration photos and turned them into something even more beautiful than we imagined. The décor, florals, and details were absolutely perfect.
Although we were busy taking photos during cocktail hour and didn’t get to try many appetizers, our guests raved about how delicious they were. The same went for dinner—everyone loved the food! The DJ kept the party going all night, and my husband and I barely left the dance floor. The cigar bar was a huge hit, and the late-night churros and tacos were the perfect way to end the night. The fireworks? Absolutely a must!
One thing to note is that the venue only allows certain types of live music (such as saxophone and violin) and does not permit traditional Mexican bands, which was a bit disappointing. We weren’t given a clear reason other than security concerns, but we chose not to dwell on it because everything else was perfect.
For couples planning their wedding here, one thing to keep in mind is the timing between the ceremony and sunset. Since we opted not to do a first look and wanted to see each other for the first time at the altar, we had a limited window for photos before the sun set, which made cocktail hour feel a bit rushed. This wasn’t an issue with the venue or photography team—it was just a result of our timeline preferences.
The staff at Martoca was beyond exceptional. They memorized our names, made sure our drinks were always full, and ensured we were well taken care of the entire night. If I could give one piece of advice to future couples, it would be to take a moment to soak in the beauty of it all because the night flies by.
Our guests still can’t stop talking about how incredible our wedding was—many saying it was the best they’ve ever been to. Martoca truly gave us the traditional Mexican/Hispanic wedding we dreamed of, and we couldn’t be happier. 10/10—highly recommend!!Martoca Weddings's reply:

A Dream Wedding at Martoca!
From start to finish, our experience at Martoca was an absolute dream. The staff was incredible, and the location is just stunning. Scheduling was seamless, and everything was perfectly coordinated. A special shout-out to Mar, our amazing wedding planner. She helped bring my vision to life, making our wedding day exactly what I had always imagined — truly the best day of our lives.
We got engaged at the end of February and decided we wanted to marry in April in Puerto Vallarta. We found Martoca and, with their help, managed to plan the wedding of our dreams in less than 8 weeks. The team was efficient, timely, and incredibly responsive, which gave me peace of mind even though I’m based in Los Angeles and wasn’t able to visit Puerto Vallarta often during the planning process.
The venue itself is beautiful, clean, and very well-maintained — it looks just as stunning in person as it does in the pictures. Jimmy did an amazing job coordinating all of our needs, ensuring everything ran smoothly on the big day. The photographers and videographers were equally impressive — quick, kind, and pleasant to be around. They captured every moment perfectly and were very attentive to my requests, making sure we got the best shots possible.

Dream wedding venue!
I truly don't even know where to start! I got engaged in November 2022 and we knew we wanted to do a Mexico destination wedding. At the start of 2023, I started doing my research and stumbled upon Martoca on instagram. Jimmy can tell you, but I followed them right away and reached out shortly after to get a quote. Their instagram presence really made this an easy choice for me (living in San Diego and not able to view the venue before booking), because I was able to see every wedding they've done and what they are capable of.
When I reached out to Jimmy to get a quote, I was greeted with such kindness and absolutely NO pressure behind the quote that I already knew this would be our venue...but it was the first one I had reached out to and wanted to make sure I didn't just pick the first one. I told my husband when I first found their instagram & got the quote that I thought this was our absolute DREAM venue. My husband and I are fairly private people, so we knew we didn't want to share our special day with other people staying at a hotel or passing by the beach during the ceremony; we knew we wanted a private, all-inclusive wedding venue.
When we were ready to book, being deeply Type A, I asked Jimmy at least 20+ questions throughout our emails before actually paying the deposit. Again, I received so much understanding, kindness, and flexibility that it put me at ease to pay the deposit.
From there, Mariana was my planner and reached out to me fairly early from when I officially booked Martoca to when we got married. I booked the venue in March or April of 2023 and my wedding took place on 11/14/2024; so I was in communication with either Jimmy or Mar for almost 2 years from when I first reached out.
Mar was truly a dream to work with. It was so easy; she sends outlines of what she needs from you, so you're not sitting around guessing what it is you need to get done. We shared our budget & inspo pictures and basically told Mar what we wanted and to stay within budget. Periodically we had to make decisions on things that would put us over our budget, but all in all, it was an incredibly smooth and easy process.
I have nothing but good things to say about the entire Martoca team! Our venue tour & food tasting (Nov 2023) was one of our favorite memories during this whole process. Most people who have been to weddings know that the dinner is usually subpar - most large dinners are, but not at Martoca. Everyone was raving about how amazing the food was (including the al pastor tacos & churros - this was such a hit!!) & everything came out HOT. Everyone, including my husband and I were, so impressed with everything.

The most perfect day!
Martoca exceeded all of our expectations!! We cannot thank Martoca enough for everything. It was truly the best day of our lives. The venue is so beautiful. The service was impeccable. Mar, our wedding planner, took our vision and made it into reality! The day truly could not have been more perfect. We had our worries planning a destination wedding, but the team far exceeded all expectations and took such good care of us. We were stress-free the day of, because we knew we had an amazing team handling everything. Everything ran smoothly and on time, the decorations and florals were beautiful, the food was incredible, the DJ was excellent as was the live band... our guests are still staying it was the most magical and fun wedding they'd ever been to. An absolutely magical wedding!
My husband and I cannot recommend this venue enough!! It was 5 star service throughout the planning process, leading up to the big day and our wedding day of course. They truly treat you like family and dedicate so much time into making your day so special. The venue itself is an absolute dream. We had only seen photos online before experiencing it the day of our wedding and can say it’s even better in person. The attention to detail in all of the decorations, florals, plated dinner and even music/DJ was PERFECT!! The staff was incredible and made the overall vibe so much fun. And don’t even get me started on the food and drinks including the late night tacos, churros and guacamole it was some of the BEST food we had during our entire trip to Puerto Vallarta. We want to specially thank Marisol and Jimmy for their patience and dedication to making sure we were informed on everything leading up to the big day and always made time to talk whenever we needed assistance. We are so happy to have had our wedding at Martoca Beach Gardens. I had seen photos of one of my friends hosting their wedding at Martoca and it looked so dreamy. I reached out to Jimmy and he was very helpful and informative. We very much liked the idea of a small destination wedding, that was beach side, had a planner that knew the venue very well, that allowed us to incorporate some of the bells and whistles that would’ve cost us a fortune in California. We worked with our amazing planner Marisol, who was friendly and great about talking through the details needed at the right time. The day off, our guests had a great time, raved about the food, party and of course the saxophone performance (recommended by Marisol/Martoca). This review is long overdue as we had our wedding in May 2022, even with so much time that has passed, our guests still talk about how much fun they had. If we could recommend Martoca to every single person we know, we would!!! We got married in January 2024 and we could not have asked for a better day. It was such a dream come true and Martoca truly went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations from day one. They were able to take our vision and match every single detail perfectly. Planning a destination wedding brings a lot of anxiety and having a planner working with you every step of the way made such a huge difference. Mariana was so wonderful to work with, very responsive, and helped us through a major debacle of shipping 90+ champagne glasses internationally. Every single guest raved about the wedding- how incredibly beautiful the venue was, hope insanely good the service was, and how much they loved the food. The DJ was also AMAZING- which was one of our biggest concerns when planning a wedding! We loved our wedding so so much and we would do choose Martoca over and over again!! Martoca seriously exceeded our expectations for our wedding day. It has now been a week since the date but we are still feeling the afterglow as every one of our guests continue to describe our wedding as the most beautiful and exceptional wedding they have been to. Mar (wedding planner) was incredibly helpful and would respond immediately even if we texted her late in the night (she also has a newborn baby!). Mar is truly incredible and was able to turn our “vision board” into the wedding of our dreams. At the wedding itself she ran the ship like a captain to make sure everything went smoothly and streamlined. Jimmy was also very warm and had excellent responsiveness and communication. You can also see how much attention to detail Jimmy put into the venue and it is absolutely stunning. Both Jimmy and Mar are very trustworthy and are incredibly attentive to any of our inquiries/requests. I could go on forever but Martoca will always be a part of our hearts. The Greatest Wedding Venue in all of PV!
We had our wedding at Martoca Beach Garden in January of 2024 and it was amazing. Everything you are promised in the beginning (a wedding planner, full access to the most amazing / romantic venue, being treated like family, and the fact that you can fully customize your wedding) was absolutely spot on. Our wedding planner and the owner were always very quick to respond and let us plan everything the way we wanted. Everything on our wedding day was 10/10 - The venue, the decor, the service, the food, the booze, the dj, the videographers were absolutely amazing!! They truly pulled off the wedding of our dreams. Our guests also had the absolute best time!
I would highly recommend Martoca to anyone looking to get married in Mexico. Your dollar goes way further here than it ever could at a resort and you are always treated like family.

Marisol, Jimmy, and the whole team at Martoca Beach Garden gave my wife the most incredible wedding experience we possibly could've asked for.
Couples will frequently hear from friends leading up to the wedding "Things will probably go wrong, but just let it roll off and have fun" - we can honestly say that NOTHING went wrong and EVERYTHING went right as part of our experience.
From the food, to the decorations, to the staff's service it was nothing short of incredible - our friends haven't stopped talking about it almost 3 months later.
If you're planning a beach wedding in the Puerto Vallarta area this is your spot.

Our Martoca wedding was a dream come true!
My wife, Stacy, and I got married at Martoca in February 2023 and it was absolutely amazing. Our special day was everything we hoped it would be and so much more. Marisol, Jimmy, and the entire Martoca team hosted and created the best day of our lives. Everything was incredible. The flowers and decor were absolutely beautiful, the food was amazing, and service was excellent. There was never a moment I didn’t have a topped off drink in my hand. When I first found Martoca online and I spoke with Jimmy (the owner) I thought to myself this seems perfect- this is too good to be true. I started following Martoca Beach Garden on Instagram (they have a great IG page) and I kept seeing reviews posted raving about Martoca. Trust me when I say all the amazing 5 star reviews are 100% accurate. Martoca is the most wonderful wedding venue ever. And we had the most amazing wedding. It exceeded all expectations.
The venue is as gorgeous as it looks in pictures. The gardens and grounds are beautiful. The views are incredible. The sunset was perfect.
Jimmy and Marisol (our wedding planner) accommodated our every request. Marisol understood my vision perfectly (I wanted lots of color and vibrant fun vibes) and she went above and beyond with little extra touches throughout. The decor was gorgeous. The flowers were so beautiful and vibrant and fun. It was all perfect. She even created a special chandelier of Poms! It was awesome.
Food and drinks: food and drinks are very important to us! And we were very specific in our requests to have all fresh food that was on the healthy side. So they even altered their recipes to accommodate us. And the food was delicious! The drinks were fresh and perfect.
Furthermore the service was impeccable. The server were on top of our every need and never let our drinks get low before they had a fresh cocktail to replace it. Truly top-tier service.
From the start Jimmy and his team made the entire process easy and stress-free. They are very easy to reach; responding to our questions promptly (which isn't always the case at other venues).
They listened to my every wish and made sure everything was perfect, and it was.
My friends and family haven't stopped talking about how this was the best wedding they've ever been to. I don't disagree.Martoca Weddings's reply:

Planning a wedding in another country comes with its challenges, but Marisol assured us every step of the way and in the end put together something more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. Wouldn't change a single thing!
I still have people comment on how incredible our wedding was...and it's been over two years! On top of that, I have people who weren't there tell me often how gorgeous it looked just based on photos alone. What they don't know is that the photos don't do it justice! We worked closely with Jimmy and Mar to make our vision come to life. We didn't actually visit beforehand, so we didn't have a true idea of what the venue looked like, but it ended up being beyond MAGICAL thanks to the work of the Martoca team. I was speechless when I first walked into the garden, and it somehow just kept getting better and better. Their attention to detail is second to none, and I'd highly recommend getting married here. In fact, I wish I could go back in time and do it all over again. I truly would not have changed a thing about it! The food, flowers, table designs, custom signage, drinks, music, cigar bar....everything was perfect. Oh, and absolutely do the churros and tacos to end the night! We are so thankful for the Martoca team for making our wedding day an absolute fairytale.

No words, videos or pictures can describe the magic of this place. Maybe it’s the amazing views, or maybe is the great staff they have, or it could just be that they make every step of this experience and planning so effortless and stress free, yet they delivered the highest quality wedding. My husband and I still talk about that day and how it felt like a dream. Keep in mind that he is the typical guy that “doesn’t care about the wedding”. Yet, he was in awe and fell in love with every single detail of our wedding. We still talk about it at least once every other day lol. I don’t even know where to start! We were looking for a venue that we could truly make our own- and Martoca surely did not disappoint! There wasn’t a single thing that we would change. The flowers, decor, food, incredibly courteous staff, unbelievable wedding planner, and super talented vendors made our special day absolutely perfect! To say Mariana is a rockstar, would be a total understatement! She took unbelievable care of us from the start- was always super quick to respond, had tons of great ideas when we couldn’t figure out details, and most importantly, never said no to any of our crazy ideas! Literally anything and everything we asked for, Mariana and the vendors made happen for us. We had so many compliments from our guests about the incredible staff as well. The attentiveness was what you’d expect from a high quality restaurant, definitely not a wedding. The food was another raved about portion of the evening. It was truly incredible. The presentation was like nothing we’ve ever seen at a wedding. It truly was a day that we’ll never forget, and neither will our guests. If you're looking around at a few venues - truly, you won't do better than Martoca! We had to move our date 4 times due to Covid and each time, Mar Ibarra (she's so wonderful if you're lucky enough to get her) was responsive and took care of the details. The venue walk through was awesome and got us so excited for the day - the food tasting and the tablescape were perfect and she really managed to capture what my vibe was (they really excel at the boho chic look which is why we booked, but manage to make each wedding unique which you can tell on their instagram page that Jimmy does a great job of running so you can see what all your possibilities are). We were originally scheduled for January and ended up in October - much hotter than we thought, and while there wasn't supposed to be any rain, we managed to get a freak storm ONLY on our wedding day. I was worried that a tent wouldn't look good since you're coming for the view of the ocean, but Mar and her team pulled it off beautifully (and the rain held off until exactly at 11pm and the last song had finished so the Martoca gods were looking out for us). Maite who does the flowers is an absolute master - my floral wedding backdrop was gorgeous and made our pictures from the ceremony so beautiful! I was obsessed with my bouquet and wish I could have taken it home, and the centerpieces were amazing which we did a combo of high and low and she made each one absolutely perfect! I cannot say enough good things about Mar, Maite and the rest of their staff - truly they were all fantastic especially the serving team. No one wanted for a drink all evening as they were always bringing drinks and shots to the dance floor and the lounge areas (and even more impressive is that due to all the delays of the wedding, I was pregnant for our big day, and they still managed to keep me in virgin margaritas and were constantly bringing me water to stay hydrated). Definitely recommend getting the fireworks, the cigar roller (he was such a big hit with all the guys), and we did both the churros and the late night tacos because I couldn't decide and while it might have been a bit of overkill since the dinner was AMAZING and everyone was full - I'm so glad we got all the extras that made the evening stand out. Back to the dinner - the presentation was fabulous and the food was delicious. It's not wedding food - it's quality from a restaurant and everyone raved about it. Truly I wouldn't change anything about our day and the team at Martoca is who pulled it off beautifully - they care about what they're doing and make sure to deliver. I can't recommend this location, Jimmy, Mar, Maite and their team any more than saying BOOK MARTOCA! The reviews all speak for themselves with everyone being so happy with how their day turned out for them - I know we're thrilled with the results and wish we could do the day over again (minus the whole pregnant thing haha .... ). Where to begin?
My husband and I settled on Martoca after a worldwide search for the perfect venue. We wanted a beautiful destination wedding that could not only provide the perfect scene to get married, but also the perfect vacation destination for our guests. From our first message with them, we knew it was a match. They respond to messages within minutes, cater to every single question and idea no matter how small, and make you feel as though you’re family.
My sister was married there back in 2018 and after going as a guest, I realized how special this place really is. The sunset views during the ceremony, the smiles on all the staff, and the insane greenery, flowers, and setup make this the best wedding venue in the world.
Because Martoca does everything in-house, the process is a breeze compared to other places where you would have to find your own vendors. They do their own flowers, alcohol, food, cake, setup, and DJ. They are willing to cater to any request no matter how big or small. Wedding day transportation is included for the wedding party and all guests which was such a relief because getting married in a foreign country can be stressful in terms of coordinating things like that.
The wedding coordinator that we were provided, Veronica, is a gift from God! She will work with you from the very beginning until your sparkler send off to make sure every aspect of your day is perfect. She responds within seconds, is ALWAYS available, and makes you feel as if your wedding is the only thing that matters. Because our wedding was during the pandemic there were a million things that needed to be rearranged, and rescheduled. She made it all possible. We were truly blessed to have had her by our side.
In terms of the area around Martoca itself, you have so many options for hotels, beaches, restaurants, and wedding event venues! Punta de Mita offers tons of luxury hotels within a 20 minute drive. Puerto Vallarta offers a massive hotel zone with no shortage of things to do.
We are secretly hoping that one of our guests will decide to use Martoca as their venue one day so we can go back! It truly was the wedding of our dreams and Martoca made it all possible.

We do not even know where to begin here. Martoca were amazing from the very first interactions with Jimmy and Mariana we knew we were in amazing hands for our wedding planning, especially after having to cancel our original plans due to covid. They took care of everything we needed and were flexible in almost everything we wished for to make our celebration feel just right for how we wanted it. Whether it was decor changes, menu tweaks, bar additions, Mariana's runs to Costco for snack bag items and changes to adding or removing guests down to the last minute, it was never a problem for the Martoca family! Mariana and Jimmy made us, as well as our family and friends, feel so welcome at their family property from the first time we laid eyes on it until we all left after an amazing wedding celebration. We cannot thank them, as well as all the Martoca family staff for all they did to make this wedding better than our wildest expectations. 10 STARS!!! Dream wedding venue!!
A HUGE thanks to Jimmy, Marisol, and the entire Martoca team for bringing all my wedding dreams to life! I’m not exaggerating when I say, this venue is a dream. Walking in the giant copper gate, I felt like Alice walking into wonderland. This venue is breathtaking and everything, from the florists to the catering, are top notch. Our guests still rave about it! Not to mention, the ease of having all vendors under one umbrella made my life SO much easier. When I unexpectedly had a medical emergency and had to reschedule (something that was very emotionally overwhelming) Marisol and Jimmy were amazing and incredibly supportive. Having Marisol to handle all the specifics, I can say I was a pretty stress-free bride. The service and staff at our wedding were incredible! I’m writing this review from a hammock in a hotel in PV coming off one of the best weeks of my life!
I had never been to Mexico and stumbled upon Martoca beach garden in my search for a venue. It looked beautiful but who books a venue sight unseen!?? Well, we did! Jimmy was able to give me pricing based on what we wanted and sent us a contract. We did a tasting and visit months after booking and knew we maybe a great decision. The food, flowers, and drinks at our tasting were amazing and the grounds at martoca were beautiful. Fast forward a couple months and covid hit. We hoped our October wedding wouldn’t be effected but the timing was just not right with my older parents and everything going on in the world. We opted for April and Jimmy was so easy to work with to change the date. It took two emails to get it sorted out.
Leading up to April, Mariana was so easy to work with. We planned everything in one phone call and several WhatsApp messages. I was feeling like this is too easy.... there must be something else I need to be doing. No, Mar takes care of 98% of the details.
Our wedding day came and it was the most perfect day we could ask for. Mar and the other vendors took my ideas and knocked them out to the park. Every single guest told us this is the best wedding food they have ever had. The bartenders made delicious drinks and figured out our group loved shots and just left shots at the bar for people to take lol! The flowers were also incredible. Our flower circle at the ceremony was a surprise from the venue( it’s much bigger than I asked for) and it was so beautiful. Music wise, well most of the guys had their shirts off but song five so they clearly got into the dancing!
Get.The.Fireworks!!! Our guests were shocked by the fireworks and kept saying they were better than Disneyland. The late night tacos were also a big hit.
The staff were amazing. They will bring you your drink straight up to you on the dance floor. My mother In law has a gluten allergy but she ate the churros( because they were delicious) and got hives. Someone went out and brought her some Benadryl!!! Just the nicest people you can come across.
I can’t say enough good things about the venue and the staff. Highly recommend Martoca and a wedding in Mexico in general. You won’t regret it.Martoca Weddings's reply:

The absolute BEST Mexico Wedding Venue!!
Similar to what other reviews have said, it really is hard to put into words how incredible our experience with Martoca was. We found Martoca relatively early in the wedding planning process and after reaching out for more information, talking to Jimmy on the phone, and seeing all of the amazing photos and videos we instantly knew it was the place for us. They made us feel so welcome from start to finish and everything was perfect. Truly the perfect wedding venue and you won't find a better group of people to work with than Jimmy, Mariana (our wedding planner), and the rest of the Martoca team. Our group had so much fun and even a month later everyone can't stop talking about how it was the best wedding they've ever been to. It will be the wedding of your dreams and exceed any expectation you could ever have.
I want to start the review off by giving an example of the outstanding service that they provide because I think we had a pretty unique day. We had our wedding on December 4th and that time of year there's an extremely small chance of rain and if it does rain it usually isn't for long. It just so happened that we were that small chance and it rained almost the entire evening. However, Mariana and the Martoca staff worked twice as hard to make sure that our wedding went as smooth as possible. Mariana showed that she is a true professional at what she does and made the right call every step of the way in order to make sure we got to do our cocktail hour, ceremony, first dance, etc. as uninterrupted and enjoyable as possible. The Martoca staff also worked so hard throughout the day from moving tables under the tent in the rain, hand drying everything, and constantly serving our guests while getting wet, and more (I attached a photo of them so you can see just how hard they were working for us!!!). We are really grateful for all of their efforts. While no one was expecting the rain, they showed that no matter the circumstances they will step up and make your wedding day the best that it can be and we all had an absolute blast and consider it even more memorable because of it.
Overall, the wedding planning process was seamless. I could go on forever about how non-stressful and easy it was because of Mariana but I'll keep it short. My wife worked with Mariana from the start and she was very attentive and responsive and quickly picked up on our wedding vision. She pays attention to detail and even surprised us with a gift and a table card wall - she will go the extra mile to make your wedding perfect.
The food was absolutely incredible too. By far the best food I've ever had at a wedding and it was like dining at a 5 star restaurant. Everything was so good from our appetizers to dinner and dessert to our late night tacos & churros. It's the type of food that is so good that people won't be able to stop talking about it.
We can't thank everyone at Martoca enough for making our wedding day so special. It was absolutely perfect and we'll reminisce on it forever.
Some other notes...
I feel it is important to touch on the COVID-19 aspect of our trip since I'm sure that is making some people hesitant from traveling or doing a destination wedding. I felt safe the entire time I was in Mexico. The taxis, hotel staff, and Martoca team were all wearing masks and following appropriate protocols. Everything we did was outside and we didn't have anyone in our group get sick from the week we were in Mexico and it is probably worse where we are from than in Mexico.
Photographer: Eva Sica of Ave Sol (https://www.avesol.mx/) - she is a very talented photographer and braved the rain to make sure we got great photos still. Would 100% recommend.
Videographer: Ventana Stories (https://www.ventanastories.com/) - we've only received a preview of our video but it already looks amazing and you can tell they do great work. Similar to Eva, their team worked so hard in the rain to make sure we got some awesome video content.
Hotel: Villa del Palmar Flamingo (https://flamingos.villadelpalmar.com/?partner=6513&utm_source=GMBlisting&utm_medium=organic) - was a good place to stay and affordable for all of our guests. We all enjoyed the stay and it was an easy bus ride to and from Martoca.

What a challenging year 2020 was ;) The ROna and totally whacky weather combination is probably the most challenging wedding we have ever faced. WE never expect rain as in summer time in December. It is just so odd. I am sorry this happened but as far as 2020 goes, it was par for the course I guess. HAHA

Words cannot describe how amazing Martoca and team are. My husband and I decided on a destination wedding but we were not sure where. We ended up finding martoca through all their amazing reviews and pictures. We ended up not going down for a table setting and food tasting mostly because we had full confidence in them that everything would come out great.
We had the pleasure of working with Veronica, she is AMAZING. She made us feel at ease with every step of the wedding process. We were so lucky to have worked with her, she is thoughtful and hard working, she thought of everything to the smallest detail. She surprised us with so many amazing gifts and details at the wedding that we cannot thank her enough.
It’s been two weeks since the wedding. We had sooo many compliments from our guest and even the ones who couldn’t make it who saw through pictures and videos. Our guest has even mentioned it’s been “the best wedding they’ve been to so far”. It was an experience like no other and pictures and videos don’t do justice. When we arrived to Martoca and saw everything in place it made us feel so grateful for everything. Martoca and their team went above and beyond. We were so lucky to have found them, it was an amazing experience and we are forever grateful for them.

You can read through every single review on here and you won’t be able to find one negative remark regarding the Martoca Beach Garden. It’s all true – Martoca is absolutely incredible. Our experience from the very first email sent to hugging goodbye at the end of our wedding night exceeded all of our expectations. Being an event planner for a living, I can tell you hands down that you will not find the level of customer service or amenities in the states. The second you walk through those copper doors your life will be changed!
Martoca is for the Bride and Groom who wants to give their guests a different wedding experience. You won’t find the standard mass quantity chicken and veggie dish here, it’s 5-star quality catering with incredible presentation. Waiting in line for a drink at the bar doesn’t exist. Their servers were amazing and left no glass empty. Floral and décor - Martoca Team takes your Pinterest board and literally brings it to life. We ditched the wedding cake and had fresh made churros and Mexican style coffee and our guests loved it. Late night street tacos were an absolute hit. The level of detail that Martoca hits in truly amazing. Being a very “detailed” Bride, I was blown away at how they nailed every single detail planning across the country. The mariachi band came out and started playing at the end of the ceremony when were announced perfectly. We surprised our guests with fireworks during our first dance, and wanted the first firework to go off at a very specific timing/climax of the song – they made it happen down to the second and it will forever be our favorite, most special memory of the night.
If you’re debating on whether or not to have a destination wedding, trust me, you and your guests will not regret it. You hear from so many Bride & Grooms how their wedding day was such a blur and they spent the whole time running around trying to talk to everyone. When you take a weekend event and turn it into a vacation you get to spend time with your guests before the big day. Matt and I got to soak in every single minute of our wedding day and night. Rather than running from table to table to say hi to everyone, we were at the bar getting a fresh made margarita. I don’t think everyone can say that on their wedding day.

My husband and I both have extremely demanding jobs. We are also from opposite sides of the country so we knew it'd be a destination wedding for at least half of our guests. When we first found Martoca we instantly knew that it just felt right. They made everything so easy and executed our vision perfectly. From our tasting and table trial to the day of our wedding, we had the most beautiful "easy" experience. Working with Veronica and having her coordinate all the vendors was absolute bliss. The vendors that they use are top notch. Our flowers were perfect, the furniture was gorgeous, and the DJ made the party. Last but absolutely not least Veronica was the one that pulled everything together. We didn't have too many conversations but every time we did, you could tell she knew what I would or wouldn't like. Veronica made me feel very comfortable and the trust was there. She's clearly very experienced in this field and knows how to read brides- Her recommendations were dead on. Our day wouldn't have been half the success (or fun) without her. I wish we could get married every year at Martoca- I know our guests wish so too! We had the following items- fireworks, burro, guitarist duo, cigar roller, late night tacos + churros (huge hit), sparkler send off and vintage car to drive away. One thing to note is we did not use their photographer, we flew a different vendor in from another part of Mexico.Martoca Weddings's reply:

I don’t even know where to begin to review and tell you about the MOST INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE in our lives…but I’ll start at the beginning – (for those reading this, this is going to be long but thorough 😉). On a whim we ditched all original plans we had and decided to explore a destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta…a place we had never visited. Jimmy was responsive, thorough, funny, and above all…PASSIONATE. For two people who knew absolutely nothing about planning a wedding we appreciated Jimmy’s guidance, patience, and willingness to answer all 74 of my questions every time I replied to one of his emails. He helped make something very daunting and foreign to us, understandable and was a great guide. I am very decisive and told my (now) husband after the first couple emails with Jimmy that this was our venue. I knew it in my gut and I AM SO GRATEFUL I listened to my intuition. Which leads me to Mar our wedding planner. When we met Mar months after securing Martoca for our wedding I was immediately put at ease. After only a couple hours together at our table trial and food tasting she understood our energy as a couple, my aesthetic, and what was important to us to have on our special day. She was available throughout the entire process via we chat, was patient when I needed more time on something, and just MADE ME SMILE. Let me get to our ACTUAL WEDDING DAY. I am still overwhelmed thinking about how BEAUTIFUL our wedding was (our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they’d been to). Mar COMPLETELY understood my vision, which is ironic because I didn’t even know what my vision was, I just knew what I did and didn’t like and she brought that all together. The florals, the golden hi-lights, the elegant simplicity which allowed the beauty of the venue to prevail (this was important to us), it was overwhelming how PERFECT IT WAS. I still smile today thinking about it. She is an absolute wedding genius, an artist. I would be remised if I didn’t mention how remarkable the food/beverage service was. It was beyond 5-star service (if that is possible). My guests were blown away that they were able to get down on the dance floor and have one of the servers bring them a fresh margarita without even asking or a round (or 5) of tequilla shots. The food was incredible and if you are reading this and planning a wedding I HIGHLY recommend doing a late-night taco stand. Eva was a beautiful photographer and was able to capture the beauty of the venue, our personalities, and the joy radiating from everyone that was there. All in all, I would recommend that EVERYONE gets married at Martoca. If you want a full concierge-style experience with experts in all areas (planning, food, service, florals, photography, DJ) supporting one of the most memorable days in your lifetime…CHOOSE MARTOCA. Seriously, if the others have not convinced you to book Martoca already, just do it! My husband and I took a trip to PV to venue hunt. We looked at some other venues, but Martoca took our breath away. THE PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS MAGICAL PLACE JUSTICE! Just add @MartocaBeachGarden on IG and you will get a better view of the venue with all of the videos they post. We did the food tasting/table set-up on that visit as well (so worth it)! The food exceeded our expectations, and you can literally design your dream wedding with Martoca, from the style/size of tables, chairs, dishes, cutlery, glassware, napkins, centerpieces, floral design, EVERYTHING. We even decided how the layout of venue would look that day! We were lucky to work with the Martoca team (shoutout to Vero for dealing with my millions of questions, texts, calls, stresses, etc.). They made this process so easy! A few days before the wedding, Veronica came to my resort and went over everything in person. She made us feel comfortable and taken care of. On the day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly! Our guests got to Martoca and were literally SHOOK! Veronica worked with Mayte (the florist) to create a beautiful memorial for our mother and grandmother. They did a great job at nailing my vision, which was to blend our two cultures together (Vietnamese and Mexican). Just like all the other reviewers said, people will tell you that was the best wedding they have ever been to and how amazing everything was (the service staff, the food, the venue, the music, TODOS!). Mind you, all the service staff were extremely professional (an important detail you should not overlook)! We even had a couple at our wedding that now want to do their vow renewals at Martoca! We really wish we could relive the wedding day all over again. It was just so perfect and beautiful because of Martoca and their A+ team. I cannot recommend this place enough. They have all these extras you can add to make your wedding extra special. And yes, you should do the fresh coconut stand, the late night churros, and tacos. And you DEFINITELY should do the fireworks (duh!). This place is the real deal. Stop looking elsewhere. Unless you want your basic cookie-cutter resort wedding, to each their own. I have zero regrets about choosing Martoca and would choose it again in a heartbeat. Martoca holds a very very special place in our hearts. "...if not the BEST!" ...says many of our guests. I first heard about Martoca Beach Garden through a friend's friend who was getting married there a few months after our conversation. I immediately contacted Jimmy, the venue owner, and he was super responsive from the get-go, which is an important factor in selecting a wedding venue. Super nice and personable guy, that Jimmy! Emails after emails led to my now husband and I signing the contract! We were assigned Veronica as our wedding planner and she is such a darling! Super sweet, easy to work with, and boy did she deliver!! Leading up to the big day... the weather forecast showed thunderstorms during our wedding. I was at edge now, but Veronica and Jimmy did everything they could to make sure our day was still magical. Long story short... we had the best day ever... most amazing wedding that our friends and family will also remember! Our wedding was absolutely magical: we rented a large clear tent last minute that ended up being decorated beyond my expectations and made the wedding even more beautiful; the Martoca team's hospitality and care was exceptional, beyond any other service I've ever experienced; and they had so many surprises for us. Maite, the florist, is SO good at what she does. She delivered my vision better than I envisioned! I read so many good reviews and somewhat thought it was too good to be true... they weren't lying. "Wedding of the decade!" "This is like an adult carnival!" "Such a magical wedding!" "I've been to many weddings... this is the best wedding ever!" I don't even know where to start with this!!! Sorry, this will be a novel, but I just have so much to say and reviews are how I found Martoca so I want to make sure all you future Martocos know how freaking amazing this place is! Also just RELAX! They have you covered :)
It has been 2 months since our wedding and I am still mind blown and want to relive every moment again and again. The venue is of course amazing and beautiful, but Jimmy, Mariana and the rest of the team was simply incredible. Hands down the best decision we made.
Let me just first off explain how we ended up choosing Martoca because HOLY MOLY I am so so so so glad we did! We originally had planned on getting married in Sayulita, which is about 30 minutes North of Bucerias and Martoca Beach Garden. We had visited Sayulita and absolutely loved everything about the town and venue that we chose and were SO excited to be there for Dia de los Muertos! We had almost everything ready to go! Then in April of 2019 (our wedding was November 1st 2019) we were informed that there was a "Sayulita Sickness" that was going around that would affect a significant number of people, especially groups, when visiting on vacation. I kept hearing horror stories of wedding groups that half of the guests became ill, or that the bride and groom were ill on their wedding day and so we made the VERY hard decision to find another venue. (This was of course RIGHT after we sent out our wedding invitations, so we had to reach out to all guests telling them that the wedding was on hold) I was absolutely devastated. It was truly a nightmare and I really did not know what to do. We had hotel blocks in Sayulita and guests had already booked rooms and flights, so it was very unfortunate.
HOWEVER-- with the help of friends and family we went on an online hunt for a new venue. Because so many guests had already purchased flights to Puerto Vallarta we decided to continue with a destination wedding in the area. Because we spent most of our budget already, we weren't able to take a trip and visit any other venues to see for ourselves. So, instead I was online 24/7 for the next few days and read so many amazing reviews about Martoca I had to look into it. I followed Martoca Beach Garden on Instagram and after scrolling through so many amazing photos I sent a direct message to see if they had availability on November 1. Jimmy (the owner) responded almost immediately and said they were! Since it was 5 months away I was shocked, but I told Jimmy my Sayulita situation, what I wanted, and my budget concerns and he put me at ease right away. It was so easy and he was SO quick to respond with all my questions, which was exactly what I needed at this point. It almost felt too good to be true with how easy the process was and with what they were able to provide.
I then worked with Mariana and WOW she was simply amazing and SO EASY to work with! We used WhatsApp to communicate and I sent Pinterest pictures of what I wanted. She had me fill out some documents and that was it! I still thought everything was too good to be true because of how easy it was! BUT IT WASN'T! IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE DREAM and I cannot emphasize that enough. Mariana KILLED IT.
The florals, the lighting, the DJ (who I didn't talk to even ONE TIME absolutely NAILED IT), the food, the service, EVERYTHING absolutely EVERYTHING was perfect. We had a pinata, mariachi band, fireworks, and late night tacos, the best churros ever and had a 6 hour dance party and so many more surprises! It was everything I wanted and everyone had the best time ever and said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I am so happy we made the decision we did.
I cannot express how happy I am that we found Martoca. Their team is amazing and if I could give it more stars I would. Choose Martoca!!Martoca Weddings's reply:

Magical Beachside Wedding
Martoca Beach Garden is the most magical wedding venue. I just recently got married at Martoca Beach Garden on November 15th and am still on a high!! My now husband and I had never been to Puerto Vallarta or seen the venue before booking, but after reading reviews and stalking every photo Martoca Beach Garden was tagged in on social media we took the leap and booked it and we have zero regrets. We saw Martoca for the first time at our rehearsal, the day before on 11/14, were blown away. It is so private, green, and gorgeous. The next day, the big day, we saw everything set up and it was PERFECT. It is crazy how much the place transforms!!! The photos on their website don't do it justice. All of the decor, flowers, lights, furniture, signs, etc. are so insanely beautiful and well done. Our wedding was GORGEOUS. My planner Veronica is the most amazing person and is a rockstar at her job. I didn't have a clear cut vision, so I sent her hundreds of pinterest photos and she was able to create something even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. She is the real MVP!! The food was delicious, probably some of the best we had while in Puerto Vallarta. We are still talking about all of it, the appetizers, main course, and late night tacos and churros. Seriously, every bite of food was to die for. All of the staff was super courteous, polite, and on top of their game. We never went thirsty :) I know everyone says their wedding was the most amazing day of their life, but mine truly was. It was the best wedding I've ever been to, the most beautiful one, and it was mine!!! I am forever wishing I could relive that day. Thank you so much Jimmy, Veronica, and Martoca. Dream wedding at a dream venue with a dream team!
I have been procrastinating writing a review for Martoca for almost 6 months now…mostly because I didn’t think I’d be able to put everything into words. So bear with me as I try to articulate just how wonderful my Martoca experience was.
Jimmy and the Martoca team (Salvador and Marianna) helped make the wedding of my dreams come true. My husband and I had been planning to have a destination wedding for a long time – however, I was hesitant as I had seen some resort weddings before, heard horror stories about the planning process, and also had a very specific vision of my day in mind. Luckily, my husband heard about Martoca through a client of his…and after googling pictures and reading reviews, I was hooked. We actually had the pleasure of meeting Salvador, seeing Martoca, and choosing our menu and table settings a year before our wedding – I was sold as soon as we stepped foot on the grounds. My initial contact with Jimmy was wonderful and helped me to know that we were making the right decision, and the great communication continued throughout the entire wedding process.
All correspondence and communication with Jimmy and the team was impressive…fast responses, answers to any questions, and clear and honest communication. Jimmy clearly has a lot of experience in the planning process, and had a quote for me with everything I had hoped to include (and more) for a price that I thought was reasonable. A wedding at home with everything would have probably been at least triple the price…and half the experience.
Our actual wedding was amazing. All of our friends and family still talk about it, raving about everything – the food (and drinks), the vendors, the décor, the location, the staff. The team executed everything flawlessly, making the wedding-planning process stress free and fun. Every detail is taken care of – your transportation, hair and makeup, music, decorations, photography, etc. We were so happy with being able to choose our vendors for this and were so impressed with our selections (Ave Sol Photography, Paloma Garcia Salon, InLoop Videography). They all came highly recommended by the Martoca team and did a fabulous job delivering on the day of.
The actual venue was beautiful and fabulously decorated. Florals were amazing and copious, with beautiful draping, candles, lighting, and tableware. The DJ played all the requested songs for our ceremony flawlessly, and had the dance floor packed all night. Our mariachi band, fireworks, churros, and tacos were a huge surprise for our guests and a huge hit. Many guests even said they felt like they were in a wedding from a movie. All the food was DELICIOUS and beautifully presented. The service was wonderful and so professional. The drinks were stiff (especially after having resort drinks all week) and delicious with lots of selection at the bar. (Our rowdy group of guys did drink the bar out of beer before the end of the night…but that probably wasn’t the worst thing that could happen). I swear my wine glass kept magically refilling without me noticing it! Marianna and Salvador were excellent to work with, and made sure everything was executed flawlessly. They both would check in with us several times throughout the day to make sure everything was going well, and to let us know what to expect – which was greatly appreciated. I could see them both working hard behind the scenes…thank you both for all you do!
As with any event, there were a few small things that did not go according to plan. However, the team dealt with these all in stride, and they did not affect the quality of our day at all – details that no one noticed or were fixed so quickly that no one knew the difference. I did speak with Jimmy about a few of these minor issues after the wedding, and was so impressed with his response. Nothing affected the quality of our day or my memories or impression of Martoca…just small hiccups that happen in any kind of event. I think the way the team dealt with these actually made me more impressed with Martoca.
We are both thrilled to be part of the Martoca family, and are so happy with our decision to have our wedding at Martoca. Thank you again to Jimmy and the team for all your hard work in making wedding dreams reality. If you are thinking of choosing Martoca as your wedding destination…you will not be disappointed!

We just had our wedding here on June 2nd and as all of the other reviewers say, this place is absolutely amazing and something really special.
We started to get really discouraged in our venue search after getting multiple quotes from hotels in the area. Everything felt very cookie cutter and like we were getting nickel and dimed for every tiny thing. Chair set up? $2. Chair break down? $2. Oh, you want a microphone for your ceremony? $150. Thank GOD we found Martoca because they are the complete opposite. Jimmy and his entire team are genuinely passionate about the brides and grooms they work with and go above and beyond to create a unique, magical experience for every couple.
We signed the contract without seeing the venue and didn't take a trip down to do our tasting and trial until a few months later. By then I was having serious anxiety and thinking we were insane for booking something without meeting anyone or seeing the location. Our communication was mostly over email and I had only provided a few "inspiration pics" to our planners, Mar and Salvador. My anxiety was put to ease the moment we met them. Every bit of food we tasted was delicious. Every drink was refreshing and something I would gladly serve to our guests. Our centerpieces were more beautiful than what I had even sent. Mar and Salvador (and the entire Martoca crew) are true professionals.
Nothing we saw at the trial could have prepared us for the actual wedding. There is something so special about stepping through the gold gates of Martoca. Our entire venue was decorated with flowers and lanterns and more beautiful details than I ever could have imagined. I've never seen a more magical setting in my life. It only got better from there. One line of our contract said something about the service from the waitstaff being "so good, your guests shouldn't have to get up to the bar to get a drink". I LOLed at the time, but they weren't kidding. The servers were better than what I've seen at a 4 star restaurant.
I don't have a single complaint or thing I would do differently. The food and drinks were delicious, fireworks BLEW people away, cigar roller and mariachis were so fun and unique, and late night tacos and churros kept everyone fueled up for the dance floor :)
Most importantly, Jimmy, Mar, and Salvador (and the rest of the Martoca crew) care so much about what they do. They treat you like family and welcome you with open arms into the Martoca family. My husband and I feel so lucky to have found them.

Take a leap of faith, this team knows what they're doing!
We were married at Martoca in April 2019. I don't know if my words can do enough justice to just how beautiful everything was. I chose the venue sight unseen, based on Weddingwire reviews and a google search. Jimmy was the first person I dealt with when looking for a venue that made me feel like the day was as important to him as it was to me - that really is what made me confident in my decision. Throughout the year I kept contact with our wedding planner Mariana, exchanging photos and texting about decor, reception ideas, etc. The first time I saw the venue in person was the day before our wedding for a dress rehearsal. If I could give future brides one piece of advice, it would be to let go and trust - this team knows what they are doing. The day turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined. Mar captured every detail I was looking for and included surprise touches that really took things over the top. We had a cigar bar, a churro bar, and for a late night snack tacos al pastor (literally the best tacos I have ever had in my life). Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Thank you Jimmy and team for your attention to detail and making us feel so special. Martoca should be recognized by the state of Jalisco because they surpass and lead to example of how every venue/restaurant/business should be. When I came across Martoca Beach I was over the moon of all the pictures I have seen from previous weddings. I have been dreaming for many years on how I wanted my wedding to be and Martoca was the perfect venue that exceeded my vision. As soon as I discovered this venue Jimmy got us off to a great start answering all our questions, reserving our date, and finalizing our contract. We initially had 80 guests coming to our wedding and we ended up with a final count of 200 people attending, Jimmy was able to work with us and accommodate us down to the T.
Jimmy blessed us with Veronica and we wouldn’t trade her for the world! I was so nervous to meet her at first but the way she carried herself was phenomenal, she is sweet, trustworsthy, funny, honest, and very hardworking. I was able to notice this all in one day! She picked us up from our hotel and took us to see the venue and then to see our table décor. I sent her numerous pictures behorehand of my vision and she told me I was in good hands. Maite is Martoca’s decorator and let me just say she is the khalessi of flowers and such a Guru~ every single detail exceeded my expectations! It almost felt like she knew me and the style I was looking for. I was stunned and much more excited to have all my guests take in all that Martoca has to offer...
Finally the wedding day. I wasn’t nervous at all. At this very moment all you care about is you and your husband having a great time but as soon as I walked in EVERYTHING made me ball like a baby. My dream wedding became a reality. I was literally taking it all in and just amazed of the work and talent. Martoca without decor is beautiful enough+all extra things you want is beyond words——- The workers truly had white glove service. I swear I felt like Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, every turn I’d do they were always at your service. My guests were speechless. Fireworks. Fire dancers. Live Band. Churros. Tacos. Food. Drinks. What more can you ask for? I truly want to relive every moment all over again- Martoca gave me my telenovela/fairytale/movie scene wedding. My guests are already asking for an anniversary party haha! Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.... and ladies do not hesitate and book this venue ASAP.

I always get teary eyed when I think about my wedding at Martoca Beach Garden.
I never thought about a destination wedding because when I thought about destination weddings I thought about resort weddings. One day I stumbled upon Martoca from Pinterest and Jimmy emailed me back almost immediately. From day one he was super responsive and helpful. We had never been to Puerto Vallarta so me and my husband were going into this completely blind. Jimmy was a god send when it came to suggestions on where to stay, where to eat and things to do in the area and just over all being there for us.
After almost a year we finally booked the venue. I was assigned Mariana and Salvador as my wedding planners and I could not imagine my day without them. They both went out of their way to surprise me with flower that I fell in love with. Mariana met me 3 days before my wedding and knew exactly what type of wedding I wanted (yes, we changed the look of my wedding 3 days before) and there was not one bit of me that was worried about how it would all come together. Everything was perfection. So many guest still talk about my wedding saying it was the best and most beautiful wedding they have ever been too. Get the fireworks, get the mariachi, and get the TACOS AND CHURROS! Food was fantastic, presentation and overall quality. All the staff and servers were great. The DJ was great. Everyone was great. I would have my wedding at Martoca over and over again.

We just hosted our wedding at Martoca on 3.2.2019. Martoca Beach Garden is the most magical place for a perfect wedding. I cannot put into words just how incredible of an experience I had from start to finish with Martoca, but here is my best attempt..
From the very beginning, Jimmy the owner was quick to respond to me and very accommodating in selecting the perfect package for our budget. He took time to carefully answer any questions I had, and I felt very comfortable with him. He’s just a good guy, very trustworthy and doesn’t nickel and dime you or throw in surprise costs. Once we decided to move forward with Martoca, we were given Veronica as our wedding planner. Veronica is simply AMAZING in every way possible. Throughout the entire planning process, she was responsive, understanding, sweet, accommodating, reliable, organized- everything you would want in a wedding planner. She was fantastic in making sure my vision for our wedding was executed to perfection. Anything I needed, she took care of it. This woman truly cares, she truly loves her work, and it shows. The day of the wedding, I was in absolute shock of how beautiful the venue was. I felt like I stepped into a fairytale, no exaggeration. Every little detail was thoughtful. The décor, the ceremony, the service, the food, the DJ, the energy- everything was PERFECT. And this is not just a bride’s opinion, every single one of our guests said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, that it was so beautiful and special, unlike any other experience at a wedding.
Veronica – we love you! It brings me to tears to think about how amazing you made our day. You were the ringleader for this outstanding wedding! You and the entire staff provided the best service I’ve ever experienced! No guest was ever without a drink in hand or shot of tequila, and everyone had a blast. Best day ever!
I am so happy we chose Martoca! Thank you fellow brides on Wedding Wire:) I actually found this venue online after touring multiple venues in Sayulita. Bucerias was a happy medium for our guests that like resorts in nearby Nuevo Vallarta and for our guests that prefer the small town vibe. I wanted an all inclusive venue because I am a grad student and work full time and the idea of planning a wedding was overwhelming to me. I can honestly say our amazing wedding planner-Vero made the whole process stress free! Jimmy was instrumental in helping us select a date. I wanted a time of year with no rain, not too hot and the least amount of humidity. February it was! We traveled a year in advance to confirm the weather, tour the venue and complete our tasting (which was delicious). Vero and Maite arranged a table with my vision in mind according to the pictures I sent and included some of their own touches. I highly recommend you do this because I felt at ease planning from afar. I was able to incorporate personal touches by sending pictures and Vero and her team exceeded my expectations! I was so impressed and was not at all stressed on my wedding day! Vero even threw in some very thoughtful surprises that made my wedding feel like a dream! So many of our guests have commented that it was the best wedding they have ever been to and we agree! :) The dinner and service was amazing! We were so well taken care of! The waiters were so thoughtful and brought us appetizers while we were taking pictures, served our dinner and the kids first and made sure our drinks were never empty. Our guests were also very impressed with the service. With the stunning decor and flowers, amazing dinner, marachi, tacos, churros, fireworks, open bar and late night dance party-it was the best party i've ever been to and the wedding of my dreams.Martoca Weddings's reply:

The Most Amazing Evening At the Most Amazing Venue
My wife and I just had our wedding at Martoca last Saturday night and it was the most amazing event of my life and far exceeded my (I'm sure my wife is writing a separate review) dreams. Everything was just fantastic, I can't say it enough. It all started with Veronica (wedding planner supplied by Martoca) working with my wife to create the night we dreamed of. Veronica was such a pleasure to work with and was very attentive and understanding. Veronica even worked with me on the side to surprise my wife with a vintage car to send us off in at the event. At the wedding, Veronica's and the staff's attention to detail and attentiveness to us and our guests was beyond measure and by far some of the best service I've received in Mexico, or anywhere in the world for that matter. The venue was (is) stunning the decorations were immaculate. I highly HIGHLY recommend the mariachi band the fireworks. Well worth the smiles on our friends' and families' faces.
Martoca Beach Garden, Veronica, and the entire staff are all truly special and they will forever hold a dear place in our hearts. Thank you to everyone involved, we are forever grateful.

My husband and I got married at Martoca on December 22, 2018 and it was absolute magic. We knew we wanted a destination wedding and found Martoca on Google. After reading the reviews, I knew I wanted our wedding to be here. We booked our date over a year ahead of time and mostly dealt with Jimmy, the owner/operator for the contractual agreement and costs. For the actual wedding planning and details, my contact was Veronica. There are a few different wedding planners and mine so happened to be her. I don't have the words to describe how wonderful, helpful, competent and brilliant Veronica is. I am in grad school and work full-time so planning a wedding was daunting for me, as my time for extra tasks is limited. I was not a fussy bride. I knew the "look" that I wanted and conveyed that to Veronica and her team in person and via phone and email. We had 52 guests and I wanted an elegant, but not too ridiculous, wedding. I sent Veronica Pinterest pictures of what I liked and she made it happen. If I can offer a bride any advice when working with a Martoca team, it would be to NOT try and be in control of every aspect and detail. Let them work. They are brilliant. I was very hands off in my planning. I trusted Veronica and her team and I was awestruck at the result. Our wedding was and will always be the most amazing wedding all of our guests have ever attended. Details that I never considered i.e. people spilling their drinks on the dance floor...they had someone dedicated to toweling up liquid so no one slipped...they think of everything. If I can offer a few more pieces of advice: go with the fireworks. Everyone will cry and it's pure magic. Opt for the tacos and churros at the end of the night. People still have not stopped talking about it. Also go with the crystal light-up dance floor. Well worth it. Veronica was not just a wedding planner, she provided me with advice and emotional support when she could tell I was stressed or struggling. She is always surveying the party to make sure everyone is having fun and there is never a dull moment. If you let these people do what they love, they will give you the most amazing memories. I feel forever indebted to them. They also provided me with the most amazing photographer, Jorge Romero. He is not always available, but I was lucky.Martoca Weddings's reply:

Amazing Martoca wedding!
I recently got married at Martoca and it was a dream come true! They executed my vision flawlessly and made everything more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! Wedding planning was made so much easier by making most big decisions upon signing the contract, when you can select what you want in your wedding (including decorations, flowers, DJ, band, fireworks, tacos, other entertainment, etc.) After that, we pretty much planned the entire wedding over text and calls with Veronica. My husband and I have very busy schedules and this was a huge convenience! Over our last month of planning, Veronica became one of my dearest friends. She went above and beyond on numerous occasions, and was so detail-oriented, patient, and enthusiastic. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! The service, décor, music, flowers, food, entertainment were impeccable! We would like to sincerely thank Jimmy, Veronica, Maite, and the rest of the amazing Martoca team for giving us our dream wedding! We just got married at Martoca this past weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Jimmy and especially Veronica made the whole wedding planning process soooo easy... almost too easy! Everything from the servers, dj, food and setting was absolutely AMAZING. You truly feel like you are part of the family. Veronica is the most perfect angel on earth and honestly just having her as part of the package is enough reason to book Martoca. We had a 118 person wedding 3 days after hurricane Willa hit and it was the best most beautiful place imaginable. Our guests could not stop talking about how much fun and “epic” it was. This review is 8 years late, but I'm happy to see the venue is still thriving! We are Canadian and were married at Martoca in December of 2010. Jimmy was accommodating and responsive to all of our questions and requests. There were some hiccups with the wedding planner that they provided, but it did not create any issues with the wedding itself because Jimmy took over her duties and we had a lovely, intimate wedding. The venue itself is on a quiet beach and large enough for a big party yet small enough for an intimate wedding. The staff was very professional, our guests commented afterwards that their drinks were never empty and we were never left waiting for food or drink. We saw pictures of the venue when we booked it, but when we arrived it was even better in person. -

We were anxious about planning a wedding in PV while living in New York, but I cannot imagine a more seamless and pleasant experience than what we experienced with Martoca Beach Garden. Jimmy and Kelley were always responsive and never let our questions linger for too long. Additionally, they were happy to work with us on price and build a contract that included everything we wanted but stayed within our budget! We only went to PV once during the planning process and Kelley was more than accommodating, showing us the venue, drinking margaritas with us while we taste tested and finally taking us to the flower vendor to show us our tables (which we liked immediately). On the day of the wedding, we were blown away with how perfectly the team executed our vision. I had only sent a few photos of the bouquets and I can't believe how perfectly they turned out. We received endless compliments on the INCREDIBLE service and food and have been told it was the best wedding several had attended. Kathy Sent on 06/08/2018If you are looking for somewhere in Mexico that is unique and beautiful to have your wedding. Look no further, Martoca Beach Garden is the wedding venue for you. My husband and I live in New York and are avid travelers. We still would choose Martoca Beach Garden for our wedding a thousand times over. One, the setting is truly one of a kind. I was able to have a beach ceremony, a garden setting cocktail hour, and my tented reception all in the same location. That made my guests have more time to actually enjoy the festivities instead of having to travel to different locations. Two, you truly CAN have and customize everything you want! I think I pushed this theory to the limit when I asked my wedding planner Kelley for an 8 ft by 12 in, all natural, REAL flower wall to use as a backdrop for my wedding photos. Well guess what? I got my dream flower wall and it was even more stunning and beautiful then the sample pictures I sent. When I first saw this venue I was a bit skeptical they could grasp my vision. I wanted everything to be elegant and magical. I saw a lot of boho, earthy, or tropical weddings done prior. Jimmy and his team, and my amazing wedding planner Kelley assured me that my vision could be done. I had THE most elegant, extravagant, and magical wedding for HALF the price I was quoted for in other venues. This included tall elegant centerpieces, a Pinterest perfect tent with draping, string lights, and chandeliers, a breath taking REAL flower wall, fire dancers, fire works, and a sparkler send off. There is nothing else I wanted or asked for that I didn’t receive. I cannot give enough praises to my wedding planner Kelley. She made sure my vision came to life and even surprised me with things I didn’t even ask for. Jimmy who’s family owns this venue I cannot say thank you enough! He really goes above and beyond to make sure his Martoca couples are happy. I cannot recommend Martoca enough, you truly will not be disappointed! Xoxo Kathy and Marquis.

Dennise Sent on 05/28/2018All I can say is wow! My husband and I got married on May 12th. Words cannot describe the job done by Veronica and Martoca’s team. We are both still in awe over how beautiful the venue is. The pictures online look great, but it is unbelievable in person.
I am from Guadalajara and I always knew that I wanted my wedding in Puerto Vallarta. When I got engaged, I immediately started to do my research and tried to find a private venue. I came across Martoca and instantly fell in love. My husband on the other hand was reluctant due to the unfamiliarity, but after talking to Jimmy and finding out our mutual friends were also at a wedding held at Martoca, we knew that it had to be there. I was finishing up my last year in grad school and I knew that I didn’t have time to plan a wedding. I trusted Veronica and I was open to all of her ideas. We still have friends and our family complimenting our wedding and telling it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Between the fireworks, service, tacos, churros and ambiance of the venue, everything was what I dreamed and more. Thank you so much for making our wedding a beautiful happily ever after! Brianne Sent on 05/10/2018I don’t even know where to begin....my husband and I found Martoca online last June and I knew that there was nowhere else we wanted to be married. We come to Puerto Vallarta twice a year and saw too many resort weddings that were not private or not always special to the bride & groom. Since our guests were coming such a long way to celebrate with us we wanted to make sure we showed them a fantastic time. We were nervous because we were not able to visit right away but after reading the reviews and talking to Jimmy we felt completely comfortable.
Between the time we got engaged in June and our site visit in October we had tragedy strike our family several times but everyone at Martoca was so understanding of our plans constantly changing and just kept telling us it was going to be alright. We made the trip in October and we were able to meet our AMAZING planner Veronica. She was incredible! I work quite a bit and knew there was no way I had time to plan a wedding and she took care of EVERYTHING for us. On the day we met her we also met with the designer and caterer and literally had everything done in one day. Veronica also took the time to drive us to hotels to consider for our guests.
From October until our wedding in April we had several other things go wrong in our lives but Veronica was always there to tell me it was going to be alright and that everyone at Martoca was pulling for us. She was not only a fabulous planner she was a great friend.
The wedding was BEYOND our wildest dreams. From the beautiful location to the gorgeous flowers, the incredible service, the delicious food and the special details like fireworks, cigar rollers and taco and churro carts our guests were blown away. Almost every single one told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I had to give all of the credit to Veronica and the amazing team at Martoca. Thank you so much for all of the effort and love you poured in to our wedding. It was the best night of our lives!Martoca Weddings's reply:

Jaime Sent on 04/30/2018It's hard to know where to start in a review about Maroca, I actually get a little teary eyed just thinking about how amazing it is, there should be an extra special gold star option especially reserved for places like Martoca.
First and foremost, if you are thinking about having a wedding in Mexico and are considering anywhere besides Martoca, just stop right now. You will literally not find anywhere else like it, potentially anywhere.
To say it’s a bride's dream is a complete understatement and does not do Martoca, the staff, the owners or the location justice. Their wedding planning staff (Veronica, my wedding planning was beyond amazing) and unbelievably talented florist alone justify what you spend, and that doesn’t even touch how gorgeous the venue is, the incredible food, the open bar or the kick-ass DJ.
And it’s so much more. When you get married at Martoca, you truly become part of their family and I have first-hand experience in that, beyond what most brides probably do as my father ended up in the hospital the day after the wedding. Veronica, Our wedding planner with Martoca helped us find a doctor and Jimmy, the owner, picked us up from our hotel to move to a condo close to the hospital. They both came to visit the hospital during his 5-day stay and checked in regularly. I am actually not sure what we would have done without them.

Lindsay Sent on 04/15/2018I’m not really sure where to start because everything was just so perfect, the people, the location, the atmosphere and the decorations. Ah. I’m just a little sad it’s all over. I booked with Jimmy over a year before my wedding date, and really didn’t have to do much apart from send pictures of my style, what colors I wanted, what music I liked, and everything came together just perfectly. Mariana and Salvador really captured my style and made sure everything ran smoothly, while Jimmy was very speedy at responding to my pre-wedding concerned questions! I am a pretty laid back person so let the team surprise me with nearly every detail, and nothing disappointed! My guests were so impressed and really just had a relaxing and fun time. The catering was very good, nobody had an empty glass at any point of time. And the taco bar at the end of the night kept tummies full and people still standing. My MOST favorite part was by far the saxophonist during dinner time. He played current and oldies and it really set the atmosphere while we sat and ate. Our 2 year old son really approved as he danced on the dance floor while the saxophonist played some seriously good jams, it was just a perfect sight. Thank you Martoca Team! We will be back in beautiful Mexico in the near future!

Like many, we booked Martoca sight unseen and trusted that the other reviews we read and research we did didn't steer us in the wrong direction. Martoca is a hidden gem - a diamond in the rough. From the outside, you'd have no idea what's behind those stunning copper doors. It's a paradise, absolutely manicured to perfection, beautiful every where you turn. From the day we booked, we were confident we'd picked the right venue. James (Jimmy) was so responsive to emails and answered all our questions. We worked with Kelley at Younique Vallarta Weddings who was fantastic and understood my vision. The day of our wedding was a dream and went by in a blink. I remember feeling overwhelmingly happy and in awe of the beauty of the day. The Martoca team was fantastic, every one of the staff made sure the day went flawlessly. We just had our wedding there and everything from the contract negotiation, to the year-long planning with the wedding planner, to the most professional crew ever, to the decorations, flowers, lighting, the delicious food, etc -everything was TOP NOTCH. Kelley Kahrhoff, the wedding planner, put us entirely at ease. I simply gave her my vision and she executed flawlessly. KELLEY, YOU ARE MY HERO! My husband and I are beyond grateful for the Martoca team and we can't wait to visit again soon!

Alicia Sent on 01/16/2018We just got back from Puerto Vallarta (Bucerias) where we had my daughter's wedding at Martoca . I don't have enough words to express how happy we were with the entire experience. From the first contact with Jimmy who was always so friendly and answered every question we had; to our experience planning the wedding with Salvador and Mariana. They all were terrific in capturing my daughter's vision for the wedding. They listened and delivered. They always returned our e-mails and phone calls promptly, always assuring us that everything was going to be ok! Well, they were right! Every detail was taken care of as agreed. The day ran like clockwork. It was everything we had envisioned and more! The setting was absolutely stunning. The flower arrangements and decor by Maite were 1st class. Two weeks later and we are still getting wonderful comments from family and friends. The food was outstanding. When you have to serve that many people you always worry that the food may be cold, or won't taste that good; but trust me when I say that it was delicious and the presentation fantastic. The timing was perfect. From picking up the bride and her bridesmaids to get their hair and makeup done; to getting everyone where they had to be on time. Their vendor recommendations were excellent. Mariana and Salvador were so accommodating with every request, and they made us feel like they were also excited about the wedding! Everyone was impressed seeing Mariana running around the place making sure everything and every detail was perfect. Both Salvador and Mariana definitely went the extra mile on every request . They worked long hours to make the event a success. The DJ was great. The right volume, the right combination of music for our U.S. and Mexican guests. The fireworks added that extra touch that everyone still talks about. All-in-all, an unforgettable experience. Thank you Jimmy, Salvador and Mariana for a wonderful experience,

Mayra Sent on 12/13/2017We got married on Martoca on Saturday November 4th, 2017 and everything turned out to be BEYOND our expectations. The view, the set-up, everything was just stunning, the food was amazing!! Starting from the appetizers and ending with the dessert, all my guests were going on and on about those churros! (best churros ever). I found Martoca on google search and when I want it to get more information about the venue Jimmy called me within minutes to answer every question or concern I had, he was always on top of things, Vero was my coordinator and she was just amazing! She created the wedding of my dreams and I am so happy we chose Martoca as our Venue, literally every guest has told us that it was the best wedding they have ever attended. The service was also 100% I really think my review is very poor compared to how awesome our wedding was, don’t think about it twice, I Highly recommend Martoca Venue if you want one of a kind wedding! Thank you, Jimmy and Vero, for all your help and patience and for creating the wedding of our dreams!
