Martha's Catering was perfect for our wedding day. We had a plated salad course and then buffet for entrees. The staff at Martha's are really helpful and so professional. The food was delicious! If you want great food, professional service, and for your meal to be one less thing you have to worry about on your big day - book Martha's Catering!Martha‘s Catering: Innovative Food. Truly the Best!
Amazing! We were in a tailspin due to Covid and Martha’s Catering calmed the storm. We contacted Martha’s after changing dates for a wedding. We had to hold it outdoors so there were concerns. We met with Tom Rooney and he worked miracles. The bride and groom live out of state. Tom was able to provide a vision for them from a cocktail hour through dessert. He also was able to schedule a tasting for the couple two weeks before the event. They were able to sample the appetizers and dinner options. He followed up with all of their feedback. Tom even made a site visit to help avoid any unforeseen problems. The food was served hot and was delicious. They turned our backyard into what seemed like a five-star restaurant. The servers were professional and friendly. They treated our guests like VIPs. I highly recommend Martha’s Catering. We will certainly use them again.Martha‘s Catering: Innovative Food. Martha's Vineyard was FANTASTIC!
We had Martha's as our bar service and we couldn't be happier! My husband and I interacted with them at multiple other weddings and knew we wanted them at ours! Their pricing is completely reasonable and their service was impeccable! They were constantly on top of everything from our planning during our engagement to everything on the day of! User1272002 Sent on 08/04/2013Martha's was extremely easy to work with and I highly recommend them. The food was delicious, dispalyed and served attractively and efficiently. We had passed hot and cold appetizers, and a sit down dinner. Our guests raved about all of it --especially the bason wrapped shrimp. Sice we offerd 3 choices of entres to our guests, I was a little worried how the service would go -- it was terrific. The wait staff was helpful, quick, and food was served hot! I highly recommend Martha's. (As a side note, we ordered some trail mix bars for the hotel welcome bags...they were packaged individually and our only regret is that we did not order extras to bring back home. -

The food was fantastic and we had so many compliments on how delicious everything was. I was more than impressed with how great of a job Katie did throughout the planning process. She was very responsive, professional, and was more than willing to modify things if needed. Her and the staff were unbelievable the night of the actual reception. Katie checked with my husband and I and our family multiple times to see if we needed anything. I was extremely impressed working with her. The staff also did a wonderful job. They were very efficient with clearing off plates, napkins, etc. and also did a great job asking if we needed anything. Part of the reason our day was so perfect was because Martha's Catering made it stress free so we could truly enjoy the day! -

Pros: Nice variety of food options for diets and special dietary considerations. Once communication was established pretty smooth (calling main office vs email). Provide set up and cake cutting services. Workers were wonderful, polite and attentive to guests.
Cons: Common preferred vendor for multiple venues, so difficult to hire since schedule is often full a year out. Be prepared to be charged % of bill, after food and addt'l rental items are added. We had nearly $1500 extra charge for service fees that never appear on initial quotes. So ask about the percentage because it's in addition to your food and rental costs, but isnt tallied into your bill until you've settled guest numbers for your menu (2wks prior). Just doesn't seem quite reflective if your actual cost to cater.Martha‘s Catering: Innovative Food. Great Beverages.'s reply:

We appreciate your honest feedback and apologize if there was any confusion on our end with the invoicing. Our invoices outline each item you are being charged for including the % service charge listed at the bottom. This is adjusted based on final guest count, menu changes and rentals throughout the entire planning process and would change when we adjust the final counts at the 2 week prior mark! -
User1055888 Sent on 12/31/2012We had a reception for 180 withing a historic but somewhat tight area which required table service. We couldn't have been more pleased. The food was exceptional commented on by all. The appetizers filled the gap from wedding to reception. We found the advance service, friendliness excellent. Pricing was competitive with comparable services and the way they calculate the bar tab at the end was actually less than others.
