Dream come true!
A beautiful boutique with even more beautiful staff! I could not have picked a more perfect place to find my dress. These ladies were with me from start to finish through the bridal process and my gown was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend Martellen’s Bridal.

After postponing due to COVID, I had some strong doubts about my original wedding dress (which was previously purchased at a different dress shop). It needed lots of alterations, and even then, I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out. So I went dress shopping again to find a different dress. After going to nearly every dress shop in West Michigan (some of them twice) and not having any luck, I ended up traveling back to near my hometown in Illinois to dress shop. The consultant that I worked with was so helpful and kind! She listened to what I was envisioning, what I liked, what I didn't like, and she respected my budget by only showing me dresses that were within my range and that would arrive before my July 2022 wedding. I found my dress at Martellens, and they helped me customize it to exactly what I was looking for! They sent me occasional status updates, and also texted me photos when it arrived. They were also able to accommodate my need for dress fitting appointments in the evening, since I drove in from Michigan. I strongly recommend them for purchasing a dress! -

The Most Wonderful People
I went to 4 bridal shops when shopping for my wedding dress. My budget was $2000 and I came in right at that mark in a Stella York including alterations (I did buy a veil separately). The women at Martellen's were by far the most professional, least pushy, and had a great eye for what would flatter me. Karen spent close to 2 hours going through all the racks and ultimately found the dress that suited me perfectly; I got compliments the entire day of the wedding and even after the fact.
Alterations were done in house and were perfect.
They keep the dress until the week of your wedding, steam it, and bag it for you.

The ladies at Martellen's were so helpful as we shopped for our dresses. We came in with an idea of what we both liked, and we both left with dresses that we LOVED! And they made the whole experience so much fun. We wanted to shop together without seeing each other in the dresses, so they helped us alternate coming out of the dressing rooms. When we had our favorite dresses at the end of our appointment, they even helped us come out blindfolded so that our families could see us both in our dresses next to each other! -

I found Martellen's through my cousin & sister, who'd both tried dresses on there, but didn't end up getting their gowns there. I however found my dream dress at Martellen's. Not only that, but about a month before my wedding when I went in for a fitting the dress was tight. I was on the verge of tears when the seamstress said, "It's no problem. There's plenty of room. I can take it out a bit." Sure enough, on my next fitting the dress fit like a glove. I felt like a queen the whole night, and people are still telling me how gorgeous my dress was. Thank you, Martellen's!!! -

I love Martellen’s!! My sister found her dream dress there last year so I knew I had to go to find mine. We both worked with Missy who is an amazing consultant and truly cares about finding her brides the perfect dress. Off of only a few details I provided of what I liked, she was able to pick winner after winner and I found my dress!
The best thing about Martellen’s is how supportive and body positive the staff is. I had emailed ahead of time to make sure there would be samples I, a size 12, would be able to put on my body. My experience was awesome and never at any time did I feel uncomfortable with my body. I appreciate the large selection of sample sizes as well as the compassion and enthusiasm of the consultants! I can’t recommend this salon more. -

I had the longest day of trying on dresses and was so drained but the workers at Martellen's were so patient with me and did everything they could to find the right dress for me. I didn't even want to put on the last one they pulled but I'm so glad I did because it became my dream dress! they have the best selection and were so flexible and helpful to get me everything I needed. They catered to me so well and helped decompress this stressed out covid bride. Go there first!! -

I had the experience every girl dreams of when shopping for a wedding dress! The shop is beautiful! The staff is friendly, helpful, organized, and all around amazing! She made sure I only tried on dresses within my budget and helped me with styles I was interested in. I can’t say enough about how amazing Martellen’s is. -

This is the place to go for your wedding dress!! They were so friendly and professional! It was so nice to have someone focused just on me, rather than being one of 20 other brides in a salon shopping at the same time. The entire experience was one that I look back on and wish I could relive over and over again. They make each bride feel beautiful and special and this is because they have a genuine care for their brides and the visions you hold for your big day. Every bridal appointment was stress free and fun as every bride hopes it to be. The seamstresses are beyond talented and super sweet. You can trust on them to help make your dress feel as though it was custom made just for you!

I didn't believe the price when they first said it! It was actually cheaper here than at another place I had tried it on! The ladies here are so nice and helpful. They make everyone feel welcome :) They were also great when it came to my dress fittings! I accidentally had the seamstress take the dress in a little too much in the back, and they gave me their professional opinion to have the seamstress let it out a little so that I would be more comfortable on my wedding day! Thank you again for everything!!! :) I would go back here in a heartbeat!

They had a great selection of gowns and they did a great job of finding gowns for me to try on that were what I had pictured in my mind wearing. I found my dress in 1 visit! They were friendly and did not rush you at all. I was an out of town bride and they were so accommodating of my schedule. I did my alterations here as well and they turned out great. Martellen's made wedding gown shopping an absolute joy. -

It was so incredibly important to me to be able to shop with my mom and three sisters back home for my gown. I found Martellen's and worked to schedule an appointment with them because they were one of the few salons that carried my preferred designer. My experience far surpassed my expectations. They accommodated a private appointment for me on a Sunday when my family could all get off work. Bonnie was sweet and patient, but most of all...listened to what I wanted. Communication was great from the shop during the ordering and shipping process and I felt like they really cared about my experience. Martellen's made the special moment I always looked forward to possible. And I got the most amazing dress!
