Wedding 2.0💍

We had the pleasure of working with Rick and Tiffany! They were so nice, asking us where we would want photos, who we want photos with, and so flexible with us!
We were married back in 2018 and we decided to have a big wedding with family and friends ! Our families have never met over the 10 years we have been together. We wanted to have our families meet and they were able to capture the families with us . We loved taking photos with all of our friends and families ! They took us around the Aqua Turf to take photos , they took requests if we wanted them, and they made it fun!
We look forward to the photos and showing them to our children , who were able to be a part of our wedding 2.0! We would love to hire Marsal Studios again for a future event !

Amazing Videographer group!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the Videography company. They went above and beyond to capture any moments we requested and any they thought of. They stayed out of the way, you didn’t even know they were there. The owner Rick even came to the venue during the rehearsal the day before to scope out the area and meet us in person, so that he was prepared for the day of. They had 3 people there the day of the wedding to make sure every piece was covered and stayed all the way to the end of the entire night. I cannot wait to see the video they put together in a couple weeks. Genuine, kind, funny people, that really enhanced the getting ready process and felt like friends. I would 1000% recommend this company to anyone looking for someone to go above and beyond to capture a once in a lifetime memory. You will not be disappointed.

Friendly, committed, and talented!

We hired Rick and Virginia for our engagement and wedding photos, and they were fantastic! On the day of our wedding we were running behind schedule, but they were very flexible and were able to complete our first look and all of our requested wedding party photos in a very short time. We ordered the full day package, and they arrived while we were getting ready and stayed through the last dance. I can't believe how many beautiful photos they captured over the day, from our romantic posed photos to the impromptu breakdance session on the dance floor. In addition to their high quality work, Virginia and Rick are just good, friendly people. They were so fun to work with, and my dad really enjoyed chatting with them. I wish that I lived in the area, so that I could work with them again.

Top Notch Dream Team

We used Virginia and Rick for our photos and videography! We met them at a Wedding Showcase and immediately knew they were the ones we wanted. They were warm and welcoming right from the start. Our pictures are amazing. The first time I looked through the proofs, I cried like a baby! One of the best things is when you book them, you book them for the day. Unlike other vendors, they don't give you a limit. My husband and his groomsmen/friends went golfing the morning of the wedding while the ladies got ready. Virginia and Rick split up, so there would be a photographer with both of us all morning. Rick drove from Wolcott where golfing was, to Farmington where the wedding was. Their assistant Angie was also amazing. Our video edits captured everything we had hoped and more. Not only does Rick do a highlight video, but you also get full ceremony and reception video. Everything they did was perfect and truly brought tears to our eyes. We used the open Photo Booth with from them too. Everyone's pics came out awesome! Marsal goes the extra mile. They knew the groom was in a band and they included Rock themed props at our Photo Booth. I highly recommend this team. THANK YOU for everything!

From the moment we met Rick and Virginia, we knew we wanted them to provide videography services for our wedding. In fact, they were the only vendor we signed a contract with on the spot. They’re an amazing couple who obviously have a passion for this business- between clicking with them and the excellent work they showed it was truly a no brainer. Throughout the wedding planning process, they were very organized and responsive which carried out to the wedding day. We had Rick and Angie with us all day, from getting ready to our final send off at the end of the night. They were excellent- professional, incredibly easy to work with, personable and calming during those stressful moments. They also had us do some pretty cool things for the video that came out awesome. So that’s the day of, but obviously the most important thing is the video itself. We got the video around 3 months later and the quality is absolutely incredible. Rick’s work speaks for itself. Our wedding video was amazing and his editing skills are top notch. He captured our day perfectly- watching the video was truly reliving the day again. We had so many emotions watching the video just like the day of. It really blew us away. There were so many details and personal touches, I think Rick and Virginia really make unique art (and I use the term art because that’s really what it is) based on the couple. There is nothing cookie cutter about their work. There was so much in the video that we missed on the day of because there was so much going on- anyone who is doubting if video is important I’m here to say it is a must and you will be in the best hands with Marsal Studios! Thank you Rick, Virginia, and Angie for being so great!

We could not have been happier with our decision to go with Marsal Studios as our photographer and videographer for our wedding. Virginia, Rick, and Zach were nothing short of a dream team. Prior to the wedding, Virginia was always quick to answer emails with any little question and took time to schedule meetings with us to go over every single detail. I always appreciated her opinions and feedback as sometimes there were things a bride just doesn’t think of. On the day of the wedding, the team was very organized when it came to knowing where we wanted our pictures shot, photographs we wanted to have, and the important parts of our video. We felt so comfortable with them. Virginia, Rick and Zach treated us and our family as though we were their own family. When we got our pictures back, we were beyond thrilled with the gorgeous shots the team had gotten. Every time we look through them, we find a new favorite. Our video was nothing short of perfection. There was a movie and a trailer as well as sections to watch the entire day: first look, ceremony, reception. It is so tasteful and I know years from now I’ll be so happy to watch it back. We would 100% recommend Marsal Studios and cannot say enough about what a great experience we had with Virginia, Rick, and Zach! Virginia and her team were absolutely AMAZING!!! My husband I worked with her and her husband Rick since we got engaged - they did our pictures. Then I had Virginia and KerriAnn with me for the wedding day from the minute we woke up and my husband had Rick and his partner in crime Zach! The pictures that all all 4 of them took were amazing!! We are absolutely thrilled with the photography service Virginia and Rick provided. They were professional, responsive, and so accommodating of
our needs. Of course, all of those things are important, but at the end of the day, you gotta have great pictures. And boy, did they deliver! Our photographs are just beautiful. They capture the joy and love that was present all day at our wedding. Every time I look at them I am transported back to that magical day.

Virginia and her husband Rick are the absolute best! Not only is Virginia extremely talented but also makes her clients feel like she has known them forever. Virginia, Rick, and the team at Marsal Studios are the absolute best!!! From the day we had our consultation, we knew we wanted to book them for our wedding on 9/24/16 (they were actually the only photo/video team we met with because we knew we wanted them right away). They were incredible during our engagement photoshoot, even rescheduling with zero problems when the hair and makeup I had done for the photos ended up looking pretty atrocious. The team kept in contact with us consistently from the time we booked them straight through to the wedding day (and even afterwards!), and we always knew exactly what was going on and what to expect. They showed up much earlier than we had expected for the wedding, came with amazing ideas for photos and our videos, and spent the entire day and night working tirelessly to capture as much as humanly possible. We had told them we wanted some formal photos with family, bridal party, etc before the ceremony (we also did a first look) and that for the cocktail hour and reception, we were looking for more of a "natural, candid" style. They followed that to a T and we truly didn't even realize they were there throughout the night! We were able to just have fun and celebrate with our guests without constantly being pulled aside for posed photos, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. We had a special request to get a large group photo on the dance floor with as many guests as possible, and Virginia literally climbed on top of a stepladder with her camera in tow just to get the shot we had asked for. Marsal Studios went so above and beyond for our wedding, and they did even more than we ever could have hoped for. We absolutely love Virginia and Rick, and I have already recommended them to people I know!!!

Virginia and Rick were everything we could have asked for and more! They anticipated our every need throughout our wedding day yet at the same time were hardly noticed. Couldn't ask for more personable, happy, passionate photographers. It truly felt like we had friends with us the whole day, not just photographers. On top of all this, they produce the best photos and they have the best photo lounge! Our family & friends loved it! Everyone was able to take home a photo and Virginia & Rick compiled a photo scrapbook on the spot of all the photo booth pictures! We may have hired them for our wedding but we'll stay with them forever!

groomsmen. Both were very patient and helpful throughout the day which are great attributes to have during such chaotic moments leading up to and including the wedding. After the ceremony was concluded, Virginia and Rick took an aerial group photo of all of the guests and bridal party which we had asked for in our discussions. During the remaining photo sessions, they both took their time to make sure every photo was done right and even took some night time photos to bring out beautiful visual effects. They showed us previews before proceeding to the following photo and they looked amazing! We are very excited to share these with our family and friends. During the reception, Virginia and Rick worked together to cover the entire room in order to get plenty of pictures and videos of the guests, specific events held at the reception, and of course the dancing! All of our guests said that Virginia and Rick were so friendly and treated them like family. We would definitely recommend Marsal Studios to everyone and we look forward with them again for future events!

Virginia and Rick we both excellent at what they do! They worked with me on a tight budget to capture as much of the wedding as we could before they left. They even stayed a little longer than they we supposed to, making sure to catch all the first dances. As someone who really does not enjoy being photographed, I couldn't believe how many beautiful pictures I received. They did not do any picture printing there, however you get the copyright and a cd with all your photos to print yourself. After I received the photos I contacted Virginia about a small touchup on one picture and she fixed it without any extra charge. I absolutely loved working with them and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional photographer/ videographer.

From the first moment I spoke with Virginia I knew she was the company to go with. She made you feel like you have known her for years ( truly comforting ). I surprised my wife 18 yrs of marriage with a vow renewal. She was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and photo shoot of my vow renewal 10/10/15 at the Waters Edge Resort and Spa. My now husband and I met Rick and Virginia at a bridal expo and knew we had to add them to the list of potential vendors. We called and made the appointment and once we met with them, there was no looking anywhere else. They showed us other couple's wedding videos and pictures and I started to cry looking at their images, so I could only imagine my reaction to my own images. We upgraded to the three video option for the videographer since several loved ones were not going to be able to make it to the wedding due to health concerns. This is the best upgrade imaginable as we just got a glimpse of our video and I started crying instantly. The whole team was awesome and helped ease our worries that day. There were many laughs shared together and it felt like they were part of the family! This is a husband and wife team that are still madly in love and know how much each image and video means to the bride and groom and will make sure to get any and all pictures you ask for. They captured moments I didn't even know had happened and they did such a good job that I had to confirm with my groom they were even there. They were well hidden during the ceremony and I could not imagine doing work with anyone else. Rick even came the day after the wedding to take pictures of us together at our new house and with our pets, something that most photographers would never ever even consider doing. What is even more important to me is the relationship we have formed. They know each bride and groom by name and build a personal relationship. My husband and I will be hiring them for many more family events and I know they will love watching our family blossom over the years as much as we will. I cannot speak highly enough of them and anyone that chooses them is making a great decision!

I was married on June 14, 2014 at Anthony's Ocean View.Our wedding was an evening wedding. From the moment we arrived,Virginia,Rick and crew were already there taking pictures of our event. Before the ceremony,my alter fell down due to the heavy winds from the water.The crew helped us put something together fast before our guests arrived.I was so appreciative as they used their imagination and created this beautiful scene for where we would be saying our vows.Instead of using an arch,they wrapped the two colors of our wedding on two palm threes with starfish over it. It was such a jaw dropping idea, I myself would have never thought of it. I loved it even better than the arch they had for us, because it just went with our theme of the beach. One of the girls (Mandy) even used her hair clips to hold it together. It was so amazing!! I have never felt so welcomed to such wonderful and warm people. To meeting them a year before and a month before our wedding, I knew they were perfect for all our needs. I couldn't be happier with my pictures and video. Their wedding albums are spectacular as they send them out to Italy to be created.Their are so many different options and I can't wait to receive it!The entire night was beautiful and when I received my pictures,I literally cried!They captured pictures with my parents that I never thought I would get.My husband dancing with his mom.Our nephews smiling, my cousins dancing...just all my pictures were everything I wanted and more!Virginia asked me everything I wanted for my day,and asked what ideas that I had.They did everything that I wanted for pictures,used all my ideas and made us feel so comfortable.We weren't rushed or pulled away like most photographers do.Most of the night,I didn't even know they were there and honestly that's why our wedding pictures came out magnificent. They captured one of the most magical days of my life and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Thank you for making my true love story!!

Virginia, Rick & their crew are absolutely amazing! Virgnia and Rick work wonderfully together as a team to capture all the special moments at our wedding on May 25th at Wright's Mill Farm. Not only are they highly skilled in their profession but they are down to earth, personable, & incredibly sweet. They made us feel so comfortable and understood our style and exactly what we wanted. Due to some rain showers on our wedding day Virginia & Rick contacted me to set up a time where we could take some additional wedding photos free of charge! I was astounded by their kindness and took them up on their offer. In August we went back to Wright's Mill Farm, got all dressed up again, and had a blast taking more wedding photos and video. Meeting Virginia gave new meaning to the phrase – first impressions are everything! She was by far the loveliest and most engaging wedding vendor we have ever met. During our initial meeting, she sat us down and took the time to get to know us and discuss our vision for our wedding. She gave us a lot of pointers and examples of what other people have done, which helped us make appropriate decisions. We sat down with Rick, her husband and our videographer, a few weeks before the wedding to discuss details. Rick was so nice and equally creative! We love his mellow personality. He came up with great ideas to personalize our souvenir photo, which we eventually used for our photo booth. During the wedding, Virginia and Rick kept us focused and choreographed our photo shoots very well. We had lots of fun during our first look and they made us relaxed during the entire process. The wedding party adored Virginia! Who wouldn’t? She allowed us to be goofy and carefree, which translated well in the pictures and videos. Our guests had a blast at the photo booth. Mandy, their assistant, who ran the photo booth was very accommodating and super nice. Everyone had a wonderful time. The end product was fantastic! The pictures were just beauuuutiful! They really captured the intimate moments. We looked so photogenic! ☺ We loved the video trailer they made! It made us cry. It brought us back to the happiest moment of our lives. With regards to the cost, they worked with our budget without compromising the quality of their service. They stayed until the end of the wedding reception, when they didn’t have to. I think they had fun at our wedding too! ☺

Virginia and Rick are such a fabulous team! They are extremely professional. We feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with them. They made us feel very special. We consider them our friends rather than our vendors. We love Marsal Photography and I bet that you will too...

I was so lucky that my Mom suggested Marsal Studios. Right off the bat when I met Virginia I just knew that she was the one who'd I want to capture my big day. After our first meeting I had felt like she was family. We got married may 18th, 2014. Last Jan 2013 I was going to bridal show after bridal show and kept showing up at there booth. I finally sent them an email in April 2013 to say I was interested. I was nervous not sure what to expect. I was also a military bride trying to figure everything out while my fiance was away in training. My first meeting with Virginia was amazing I knew right then and there they were hired. She made me feel right at home. My fiance was home for five days before we moved to texas and she made sure we got our engagement pictures in! They were flexible and understand. They were amazing to deal with from long distance. I would recommend them to everyone. Especially if your far away and military! Right before my wedding I had dreams of certain pictures and they made sure they happened. My wedding day was perfect. They even came to the rehearsal and helped us out! It was perfect I can't say that enough. They did everything we asked. We love them and all our pictures. Hopefully next year when we go home we can get more pics taken by them! :)

We met Rick and Virginia back in February 2013 at a Bridal Expo at Mohegan Sun. For those of you who have ever attended a Bridal Expo (this was my one and only, fyi), they can be a bit overwhelming! But, as we walked by the Marsal Studios booth, Rick & Virginia were so personable that we wanted to do business with them. Needless to say, when it was time to hire vendors a few months later, we didn't look any further than Marsal for our photography & videography needs.
Much of our planning was done via email, and Virginia was so responsive to my every need! Since I was out of town, email made it a bit easier to read, digest, etc, with my crazy schedule. It was refreshing to work with someone with as much attention to detail as I have!
Virginia and Rick were also asked to shoot a pre-wedding Entrance video for us which, to say that it was fantastic, would be an understatement. This video took a life of it's own and was so much fun to make, and we appreciated them making the time for us to film this over two weekends. The video was shown to our guests before we were announced into the ballroom and our guests cannot stop talking about how awesome it was!!
Rick and Virginia were so accommodating; with us every step of the way. They are the prime example of a person you always want to do business with. They were with us from start to finish on our wedding day and captured it beautifully! I greatly enjoyed the 6-minute photo/video montage they put together with background music so that we could forward the link by email to our families and those who could not be with us that day. Virginia and Rick were very professional and fun to work with. They listened to things we wanted and made them amazing. I was so excited to have them photograph our wedding and I couldn't be more happy with the results. The number of photos to choose from is just incredible. There were times when I didn't know they were even around they ended up getting those special moments. The raw footage came out amazing and photos that people have seen thought that they were already touched up, etc. I could not have imagined my wedding photos to come out any better! They were there throughout the entire wedding planning process and even if I was upset over something Virginia was always willing to talk and used her motherly charm to make me feel better! Very Highly Recommended - you can't go wrong!

Rick and Virginia from Marsal Studios were amazing to work with! I contacted them with only a couple weeks notice before my wedding day and they were extremely kind and helpful with whatever I needed. They were my videographers, and I could not be happier with the service they provided us. The owners, Rick and Virginia, came to my rehearsal in order for them to understand the ceremony plan and figure out where they would place the videographers - so that they would not have to bother me on the big day and so that there would not be any confusion the day of. Not only were they accomodating, professional and extremely kind, they were also very reasonably priced. My husband and I were so pleased with their work, we would recommend them to anyone looking for quick responses, professionalism and outstanding quality of service. Thank you Rick and Virginia!!

We simply cannot express how impressed we are with Virginia and Rick. From the first time we met, we knew that they would be the right photographers for us. Virginia made us feel right at home and took the time to get to know us so that when picture time came, it would feel natural. She helped coordinate everything with all the other vendors and made sure everyone was in the right spots for pictures. They did such a great job capturing all of the special moments (including fun pictures with porta potties and a magic pink figurine). Now we have the hard task of figuring out which pictures to get...If you want your day to go smoothly and for your forever memories to be perfect---use Marsal Studios. Virginia and Rick are absolutely amazing at what they do. They made my husband and I feel so comfortable from the moment we walked through their doors. They truly treat you like you are family. They did a fantastic job taking engagement photos of us and making our Save the Dates. On our wedding day, Virginia was with me all day, capturing little moments while I was getting ready and taking the most spectacular photos I have ever seen. She even got teary eyed a few times during the day. They are such wonderful people to work with. We love our photos and don't know how we will choose for our album since there are so many great ones! We will absolutely use Virginia and Rick again and recommend them to anyone!

I called over 40 photographers and Virginia saved the day. The staff was very polite and caring. She returned my call and worked every detail out with me. She made sure I felt comfortable before ending the call. Being that my wife and I were coming from out of town, we had to trust them. They lived up to every word and promise. The day was phenomenal!!! Couldn't have asked for a better group of loving and caring people to capture my special day!!

Virginia and her team were amazing. Virginia was with me all day and made me feel super comfortable. SHe even got a little emotional when I put my dress on as if she knew me my whole life not just a few weeks and that made my whole day. She had fund with us and really knows what she is doing. If I ever need a videographer again, I will call her in a heartbeat.

Rick and Virginia are simply amazing at what they do. They are extremely professional and made the whole photo/ video process easy. I love our DVD and Albums. The really treated me like a member of their family, and made my husband and I part of the process rather than just telling us where to stand and what to do. We even went back to have belly portraits done and will be taking our baby for photos when he gets here. I cannot say enough good things about Marsal Studios!!!

We have used rich and Virginia for our wedding back in 2007 and for both of our childrens baptisms! They are the most wonderful people to work with do the best of work with videos and photos! Definitely recommend them and their staff for any occasion!!!!!!

We found Marsal Studios through a bridal show and followed up with them a couple of weeks later, ultimately securing them for our wedding photos and video. Virginia is very quick with communication and is very laid back; you will walk away from the experience feeling as if you are one of the family. If you have concerns or questions, she is ready and willing to answer. And, the most important part, the photos are beautiful. You retain the rights for all photos-- good and not so good-- but there are plenty of excellent shots to choose from. Prior to your wedding, Virginia has you list out specific photographs or moments you would like photographed so that when you are building your album you have the memories that are most important to you. For anyone looking for a professional who won't pressure you, Virginia and Marsal Studios would be an excellent choice for you.
