Perfect wedding day!

My husband and I had the most amazing wedding day and it would not have been possible without the team at Marry Me Philadelphia! We originally planned a large celebration for 7/11/2020. However, we had to postpone it due to COVID. We still wanted to keep our date and decided to get married in a much smaller ceremony. After doing some research we discovered Marry Me Philadelphia - and I am so happy we did! Colleen and her team are amazing!

We booked our ceremony just over a month before our wedding date. Colleen was supportive and responsive throughout the entire process. She provided us with a very affordable package that ensured we got everything we wanted for our day. The Marry Me onsite ceremony space was closed due to the pandemic but they were willing to travel to the site we selected which was perfect. Our celebrant Christan was wonderful. It felt like she knew us as a couple even though it was our first time meeting! Our vows included the Love Chapter and the ceremony was moving and very emotional for myself and my new hubby! Our photographer Gia Beck is just amazing. I asked to do a first-look a few minutes before the ceremony and she accommodated us with ease. She shared a few sample shots with us after the ceremony and my husband and I love the pictures! She captured our relationship beautifully! We absolutely loved working with both Gia and Christan on our special day.

Beautiful and intimate ceremony

Me & Deniece were treated so well

I must say I feel sad that I can only get married here Once! Colleen was so nice to us I wanted to hug her before we left! This place & Staff is the Bees Knees Thanks for everything ❤️ if any one ask where to get married I will recommend you to them 😊

Just what we wanted!

We were married on 11/25/22 and our officiant Liz was very sweet and made our day beautiful. We did a quick simple package where we sign the paperwork and take a couple pics. We are simple people and wanted everything to just be “simple”! I would highly recommend marry me Philadelphia!

A Great Experience

My first wedding

They made me and my new wife feel so important and so special. We were running a little late and they never blinked and eye they still welcomed us as if we were on time. I had a great time and the astompher was just perfect.

Fast and easy

Fast communication and certificate approval. The whole process took about 5-10 minutes and I was insta you able to add my husband to my health insurance based on the certificate she signed. Fast, easy, and responsive

Great Experience

We LOVED Marry Me Philadelphia. We toured a couple different wedding chapels but really felt that Marry Me was the most professional with excellent communication. Lisbeth performed our ceremony and she was calm, professional and allowed us our own space to celebrate after the ceremony finished. Our expectations were exceeded and we would highly recommend to any friends/family.

Exactly what we wanted

I could not be happier with the service that was offered to me and my Husband . We wanted something small for the two of us and we wanted it to be done ASAP. Colleen fit us in within a week , was very flexible, and very responsive. We also had pictures and they came out beautiful. I recommend Colleen and marry me Philadelphia to anyone looking for something small , intimate and fast . It was the perfect day for me and my husband .

If you are looking for a wedding officiant, I highly recommend Marry Me Philadelphia. My husband and I researched many vendors and ultimately selected Marry Me Philadelphia. Colleen was very responsive and answered all my questions. Their website already had a lot of information but Colleen took the time to talk to me personally. She was very professional and friendly.

Reverend Christan performed our ceremony and she was great. We wanted a simple ceremony and she chose the perfect vows for us. She was also very responsive, friendly and professional.

They offer great value and are not crazy expensive. I am so happy we chose them!! It was everything we wanted and more.

Colleen was very quick with responding to all my questions. And even though she had her own issues going on she never let them get in the way of what we were trying to accomplish. Christian did our actual wedding and she was awesome very patient, kind and professional. Didn’t rush us and even gave us our privacy! We got married onsite at Marry Me Philadelphia with the basic package that included scripted vows and 10 guests. Colleen was our officiant and she was great- very friendly and very professional. The venue was unique, quaint, and beautifully decorated. Our ceremony lasted approximately 15 minutes and I really enjoyed the fact the script was somewhat traditional but not cliche. I was very thankful that is was not religious as we preferred a "secular" ceremony. We enjoyed how easy it was to book our ceremony and communicate via email. It made the process incredibly simple. I would highly recommend!

Marry Me Philadelphia was incredibly easy to deal with. We had never met Colleen in person, but she made us feel comfortable and at ease over the phone. We ended up having Reverend Barry do our ceremony and he did an excellent job. They were very professional and made the ceremony easy to come up with and made us feel at ease while getting married. I found Marry Me Philadelphia online while searching for wedding officiants. I emailed almost right away after looking through pricing and packages. I was quickly emailed back and put my payment down that day after speaking to them. I hired my officiant and photographer from here and my husband and I could not be happier about how our ceremony went and how wonderful our photos were. Colleen was our officiant and I would recommend her to anyone! She made us the perfect ceremony that fit our personalities! We both wrote our own vows and she helped us proof read them as well. Good service, quick feedback and overall great experience. Colleen was very responsive to all my inquiries and spent an hour with me prior to the wedding going over everything and making sure that I was comfortable with the ceremony. I just want to thank Coleen and Andy for helping my wife and I to have a beautiful wedding. They where always there if I needed to shot and email or to call. They where very professional and friendly. Andy helped us gather as many memory's as we could even though we could not pay for him to stay for the reception. It was a great experience. I would say I would use them again but I found the love of my life but I will definitely recommend them to anyone I know who gets married.

Colleen at Marry Me Philadelphia was extremely flexible, professional, and very easy going. The rates catered to your ceremony and the services were affordable. Colleen made it easy to plan your ceremony according to your beliefs and was willing to look up different quotes and readings to style the ceremony and make it your own. She met us for brunch to get know the hubby and I on a more personal level and did not care that I sent her a thousand emails with questions. She knows everything there is to know about weddings and I highly recommend her!

We booked MMP for our September 2014 wedding. Colleen, Marcus and Andy were amazing to work with and worked so hard to make our day special. Colleen and I (the Bride), had been in contact for almost 2 years planning and arranging details for our special day. Colleen offered continued support and was always available to chat, email and offer advice. The MMP team was knowledgeable and worked hard to make sure every detail of our wedding was accounted for! Andy and Marcus (photographer and videographer) captured our wedding day perfectly and we certainly have amazing memories and photos to keep for years to come. The team was professional and friendly and we left our wedding feeling as though we gained new friends! I would recommend their services to anyone!

We booked my son and daughter-in-laws wedding with Marry Me Philadelphia for a small wedding that was held at Spruce St Pier, Penn's Landing, along the Delaware River. Colleen did an amazing job as officiant for the wedding and worked closely with us to make this the most special day that it could be. Absolutely terrific job. Very personable and professional too.

MMP also provided still and video documentation of the wedding. Andy (stills) and Marcus (video) were extremely good and a lot of fun to work with. Most importantly, they got the job done. This is such an important part of any wedding and these guys were awesome at it. We had a lot of fun with them and they produced an amazing end product.

Thanks to Colleen for making this day happen for Jeff and Stacie and for providing great pics and video of their day. I would highly recommended MMP!!

I called Colleen about 5 weeks before our actual wedding. She was so accommodating and went above and beyond for us. Our wedding was such an intimate and romantic ceremony, you would have thought we planned it for a long long time, not 5 weeks. Colleen came through big time with the perfect venue space and details. When we watch our video, it seems like she knew us for a much longer time than she actually did. It was perfect and I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks again Colleen!

We chose Marry Me Philadelphia after speaking with several other services. They appeared to be the best value for similar services as other places we had spoken to. Colleen was great to work with - and our officiant, Lis, was really great. She prepared a really wonderful service - it was exactly what we wanted. She worked with us to tweak the service until it was exactly perfect, and her delivery was great. She was very quick to respond to our emails, and made the process of planning our ceremony very seamless!

After being ditched by another officiant 2 days before the wedding i have found Colleen. she was very pleasant and professional when i spoke with her on the phone. She was very responsive, and has understood the situation i was in (having no officiant 2 days before the wedding ceremony).
We had a short conversation where i explained here the situation, and shortly described the upcoming ceremony and what are our desires.
She was very responsive, and shortly sent us all the required paper work. we closed everything within hours.
She has arrived early for the ceremony. She has spoke with us to validate that we are aligned.
she has performed a wonderful ceremony for us as we wanted. throughout the whole process she was very professional and very supportive, specially considering the situation we were in.

I was in contact with Colleen to plan my ceremony. She has a wonderful packet of suggested ceremony formats and vows that I found very helpful. Colleen helped blend my lack of religion with my husband's Catholic background.
The day of, Liz was my officiant. She was very organized and helpful. Even though I was meeting Liz for the first time, she seemed to get emotional and be very involved in the ceremony.
Afterwards, I received e-mails from MMP on the process of changing my name and other helpful things.

Colleen was absolutely phenomenal. From our first communication almost a year ago, I knew Colleen would be perfect to marry us. My husband and I were both raised Catholic, but we chose not to be married in the church. Colleen totally understood where we were coming from and was able to keep some of the traditions and wording from formal/religious ceremonies that we love, and seamlessly blend it with things that were uniquely us (tying the knot and a nod to Nic Cage). When our wedding venue coordinator mysteriously disappeared midway through our planning, Colleen fit coming to our rehearsal (and running it like a boss) into her schedule – that was appreciated beyond belief! She was so personable at the rehearsal and our family and friends absolutely LOVED her! On the day of she was professional, courteous and she seemed genuinely happy for us! I couldn’t have imagined an officiant being more “us”. I cannot recommend Marry Me Philadelphia enough!

Colleen and the team at marrymephiladelphia made our day such a memorable one. From the minute I requested info Colleen was in constant contact and answered any questions I had and worked with us every step of the way. Liz performed our ceremony and it was perfect! It was exactly what we wanted, short, sweet and intimate with our close friends and family there with us. We also used the photographer from her team and he was such a joy to work with, i think he captured everything from every agnle and he was so patient, he gave us a minute to breathe and made sure we were satisfied and had every possible photo we could capture. Liz was my wedding officiant this past Saturday. She went above and beyond to make the groom and myself happy and feel comfortable. Our day went so smoothly thanks to the preparation by Colleen and the efficiency of Liz during our ceremony. The best part for me was the intimacy of the ceremony. I could see everyone's faces and they could see mine.
I really appreciated their flexibility, I choose the ceremony date a week before the wedding, because I just wanted a sunny day. Colleen took it in stride and was able to hand off the ceremony to Liz with no issues on the wedding day. They were responsive to our requests and queries. Phone calls, emails and texts were answered usually within minutes, but always within the same day. The real value came from getting our mothers' buy in. Neither mother was happy we were eloping. The suggestion to incorporate passages from the Bible read by our mothers worked like a charm. After our ceremony, each mother pulled me aside and told me how lovely and perfect the day was.
I felt like a million bucks after our dream Philadelphia wedding, but I slept easy knowing we hadn't broken the bank to make it happen.

Marry Me Philadelphia was wonderful and provided us with an absolutely perfect wedding ceremony on 6/15/14. Our officient was Colleen McDermott, and I have been working with Colleen for almost a year, planning our wedding. When we first got engaged, I wasn't sure how to do the ceremony because I am Jewish, my husband is not, but neither one of us is very religious. Colleen was able to provide us with the perfect ceremony, mixing in a few important traditions (such as breaking the glass), with a beautiful, romantic, and heartfelt ceremony. We didn't want to do a very long ceremony -- especially with it being outside -- but everything we wanted to include was there. Colleen sent us a final draft of the entire ceremony beforehand, so we could make any last minute corrections or changes as well. Throughout the planning process, Colleen was always fast to respond to questions via email.

Colleen arrived at the venue early and went through the marriage certificate with us first. She mailed it out the next day and provided us with some instructions about how to obtain our official certificate and how to go about name-changing. She was absolutely fine with starting the ceremony a few minutes early, which we decided to do since our guests had all arrived a little early as well. Afterwards, I had a few guests compliment us on the ceremony and they told us that they loved how it was worded.

Colleen + Marry Me Philadelphia was amazing!! She was so easy to work with and worked out different ceremony options for me to pick from. She was easy to get in touch with and handled all of the filing of the marriage certificate for me so I did not have to worry about that. Any time I had a question, she was quick to get me answers. I would reccommend MMP to anyone!! Truly a pleasure to work with!

Colleen was there every step of the way. She was our wedding ceremony just the way we wanted it. We picked an add on candling lighting ceremony for our grandparents who have passed and MMP made sure the wording was perfect! I would highly recommend MMP!

Colleen is amazing. I planned my small wedding while living in New York and she was so accommodating. My fiancé and I wanted a small wedding outside, Colleen suggested Waterworks Gazebo by the Art Museum and it was perfect. We were able to customize the vows and make it very personal. We also used her photographer Andy, who was great and took pictures that he edited for us. If you are looking for a professional that will make your wedding day exactly what you want I would definitely recommend Colleen.
