We don't even know where to start- Chris was AMAZING! And not just in a professional manner- she has such a beautiful aura about her that just gives you such comfort and trust. I knew from the first meeting with her that we had made the best choice. My husband and I weren't very creative and needed a ton of guidance, and she was basically like 'no problem, here's what I suggest....here's a great option...let me do this for you..." and she executed effortless. We were so surprised with how she spoke so deeply and sincerely about us in the ceremony- it felt as if she's been with us since the day we met! Like are we related??? How do you know us so well LOL. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts- I wish to give you ALL your flowers while you are here on earth and highly recommend anyone that is looking for a sincere, heartfelt, and loving person to officiate your union. Look no further - you won’t be disappointed!
BLESSED! My husband and I wanted to renew our 20th anniversary vows on the beach in Miami and the one aspect we worried about the most was choosing an officiant. After all, the ceremony is THE most important part of a wedding ceremony or vow renewal and having to choose an officiant from several states away isn’t ideal as you can’t meet in person. I stumbled upon Chriselide’s website by chance and the moment I saw her twinkling eyes,I knew I had to look no further. For me, eyes are the window to our souls and her eyes radiated love, affection, compassion, joy and warmth so I knew her soul would be just as beautiful and I was right about that. From the moment we first spoke on the phone - her kind, gentle voice put me at ease immediately - I knew we had found a gem and I knew we were in capable, exceptional hands with Chris. In the time leading up to the vow renewal, she was in touch, reachable and really took the time to learn about our 25 year love story so that the ceremony was not generic, but instead, very personal to us and our journey. We met Chris in person for the first time about 10 minutes before our ceremony and when she took me in her arms for a warm, welcoming embrace, the connection that I felt with her from afar was solidified in that moment. My husband was a little nervous in the hours leading up to the vow ceremony but even he was instantly at ease upon meeting Chris.
The setting, the beach, the weather - all of it was beautiful, but the most beautiful part of our ceremony were the words Chris spoke to us. There were laughs, there were tears (and I am NOT a crier but she even moved me to tears) and there were wonderful memories recalled as Chris took us down memory lane our 25 year history of love - speaking of tender moments we had shared throughout the years, retelling our funny stories and reminding us that we overcame some significant challenges in our relationship by relying on our love, faith and commitment to each other and to our family.
Chris is a beautiful soul inside and out. It is clear that she values the important things in life - love, commitment, family, faith - and truly finds joy in celebrating those things with the world around her. Not only will you not be disappointed in choosing Chris, you will walk away feeling deeply moved and blessed that you had the privilege to meet her, work with her and be a part of “the essence of Chris”. She truly is a gift from God and although we live thousands of miles apart, she is a part of us that we will always cherish. Thank you Chris - you are one special soul!! -

Marriage Counseling
I promise I did not know what to expect when going into marriage counseling! Starting the first day, Chris made it comfortable and fun! Having her as our marriage counselor made our bond tighter. She was not bias she let us express ourselves without judgement. Gave us a different perspective on how to handle challenges when they arise. Chris was with us every step up of the way. She was very personable! I recommend marriage counseling to every couple and recommend it with Chris I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I can't recommend anyone more accommodating, understanding, caring, and professional. We love you Chris and thank you again. -

What a treat it was to have you officiate our wedding. I first met you at the only bridal expo I went to, and your energy was just so exuberant and loving. You were the first vendor I booked, and ever since we first chatted, we connected. You saw the vision of what we wanted, and communicated so effectively. Not only did you look beautiful that night and speak from the heart, but you also recorded our vows for us, which was a very sweet surprise. I knew I wanted those recorded somehow and although the video guys probably got some of it, just to have them perfectly heard, and close-up is perfection. Chris Mendez was such an amazing and professional wedding officiant. We has a last-minute cancelation of our original officiant, so we were on the hunt for a new one. We are an interracial, bilingual, and multi-religion couple so it wasn't easy finding someone who could perform such a complicated ceremony. Everyone we spoke to kept saying "They've never done anything like this before". But, Chris was comfortable doing everything we asked for (jumping the broom and breaking the glass). She even met with us while we were in town one week before the wedding to get to know us. We found that very endearing and personal since we haven't met any other vendors before. During the bilingual ceremony, she made the crowd feel welcomed and had a sense of humor. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a detailed polished ceremony. -

Amazing Full Service Officiant!
Chris was a joy to work with! She took the time to conduct a zoom call, since we were out of state, to learn about who we were, how we met and how we envisioned our wedding day. She was very professional and thorough. She made sure we had a seamless process from end to end, answered all of our questions very quickly, and her follow up is exceptional. I would recommend that every couple getting married use Chris to marry them! -

We like to think that finding genuine, loving, compassionate, intuitive beings isn't hard. It's natural for us to practice intentionality, makinh sure that we focus on inclusion and accessibility in all the things we do together, both ASA couple and individuals. However, we never expect this of others, knowing that we are all on our own journeys.
It is refreshing that across a digital and physical divide of 1000 miles you made what has been an ordeal before you a priceless memory afterwards. Your attention to detail, your selflessness and patience, your humor and wittiness, and your general knowledgeable nature make you INVALUABLE. God only knows where you will go but it will be most definitely to the aid of those who need you most. Plus, your just so cute and honest and gracious and we think some of the guests really feel in love with you too! (Remember when the kept trying to come up at the beach and later on they told us they wanted to talk to you but we're scared, lol).
Anywho, the actual review, right?
Usefulness: A well of knowledge; Avid researcher so she will look up different things to accommodate (any and all) requests. Even if you decide not to go with her, she provides resources and tips for navigating the narrative process. Prompt and thorough. Follows up and provides encouragement/support without your asking.
Affordability: You get what you pay for. She has a package that fits every need to from a simple civil ceremony to a multiple religion ceremony. She customized your ceremony to fit your needs and asks questions to make sure you don't miss anything.
Quality: Top tier. She understands and intuits the needs of others so this is what you are actually paying for. She a generously loving person and so this reflects in the services she provides to you! Her website is through and explanatory, she is clear and concise in her communication, and she's a workaholic so she available virtually wherever.
Accessibility: She makes suggestions about how to alter or accommodate the special needs of guests, if any. She's also available by text, phone, email, zoom, and in person.
Personality: Super sweet and funny. Young at heart, and a giver by nature. She's beautiful, forthcoming, honest, and thoughtful. If you are looking for someone who cares for everyone they meet, she's the one.
Style (Customization): She super customized our wedding (if you want one of a kind officiating that isn't cookie cutter, look no more) and accommodated a sand ceremony that incorporated our son, a beach name scrawling with a poetry reading, special declaration/vows script, and did it all on like a days notice. She can do impromptu/short notice ceremonies and since she researchers and creates everything from scratch, your getting GREAT quality work.

The Johnson's would like to thank Chris Mendez @MarryMeMendez for providing outstanding Officiant services prior to, during and after our wedding day. We had to fire our original officiant a month before our wedding , but we didn't panic though because God works in mysterious ways and he lead us to Chris Mendez @MarryMeMendez! From our first conversation we felt the good vibes and positive energy. She was welcoming, punctual, professional, she answered all of our questions, gave us a ton of information and this was all before we booked her.
We didn't want the our first time meeting our Officiant to be on our wedding day. So she offered to meet us for brunch so we can catch up and get to know each other. It was great! That's when we knew we had a winner.
On wedding day she was beautiful and delivered an even more beautiful ceremony that was tailored to our story. She spoke clearly, incorporated some fun humor and was inspiring. All in all we were very happy with the officant services she provided and would recommend her to anyone looking for Officiant services. Thank you Ms. Mendez, we love you! ❤ -

Just an absolute delight!
Where do I begin...
My now husband and I searched near and far for who we felt would be best for fit our special day. We interviewed lots of people lol.
We stumbled across Chris via Instagram, I reached out and she responded right away to schedule a consultation. My husband is not the easiest to persuade, but after talking to her, we both agreed that she was THE ONE! Funny thing is, she was the furthest in distance away from us. We decided that whatever the cost would be for travel and lodging, she's our officiant. From booking, to her saying "you may now kiss your bride", Chris showed an unmatched amount of support all the way through. She was very patient with tailoring our wedding just the way we liked it. Most of all, she was always available, just a email or call away. We booked her as our officiant, but she is family. She has a great spirit and that's something you don't let go of. I remember when that time came for me to look for the Officiant for our wedding. Being that we are an interracial couple it was very important for me to have someone bilingual because I wanted both of our families to feel comfortable. When Chris went over multiple ways with me on how we could make my ceremony bilingual without making it too long, I was impressed because the way she tried to customize the ceremony to make it right for me really meant alot. The entire process leading up to the wedding, our meetings, the emails, her attentive service really blew me away and she just had the level of professionalism we were looking for. The day of my wedding not only was she timely, she looked great and her delivery was outstanding.
