  Shan listened to what we wanted and helped us to write our own vows and design a ceremony that fit us. She made everything extrememly easy for us from filling the wedding license to providing the sand ceremony. We were so very grateful for her insight and help.

  We had a very windy wedding day on the beach. Shan managed to conduct a perfect sand ceremony in spite of the weather. Our daughter and son-in-law loved her sweet disposition.

  I cannot express how happy and grateful I am to Ms. Coughlin!!! She was my eyes and ears in SC! (I lived 4hrs away in GA). My initial call was returned within 1 day, and we were in constant communication via email and phone. Ms Couglin, at one point was more than my officiant - she became part of my wedding planning team, trying to assist me with finding alternative locations when the temp dropped (dramatically)! She was also extremely flexible with the date and time when we had to consider a last minute change 2 days before the wedding!! In the end Ms. Coughlin provided us with a beautiful ceremony, unforgettable vows and toughed it out on the beach (in the wind) in 50 degree weather, while remaining a professional service provider the entire time!! :o)
  Looking forward to working with her for my 20th anniversary!!! I can't say THANK YOU enough!! You were a blessing to work with!! THANK YOU!!

  Shan was great! With all the stress of the wedding and all the issues we had with the venue, she was the only thing that went right! She was professional, yet laid back and talked with us about what we wanted. The ceremony was beautiful thanks to her! My guests loved her ceremony and told us how beautiful it was! I could not have asked for a better officiant! I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married. She even fixed my dad's flower, which was put on backwards :o) Thanks so much for making our day memorable!

  Shan was a sweetheart on the phone and seemed to be very understanding with the matter of my husband and I being from out of town. She kept in contact with me up until she recieved my money. I then had to call her two seperate times and send her an email to make sure she recieved the money. As the wedding approached I had a very hard time reaching her and/or recieving phone calls back. The day before rehearsal I finally reached her and verified dates, times and locations for my big day. Rehearsal comes and no Shan. I gave her the benifit of the doubt and my wedding coordinator took the lead and showed everyone how things would go the following day. The day of my wedding my coordinator tries to reach Shan and of course... no answer. What a suprise?! So, We wait and wait and 30 mins before the wedding is supposed to start.. no Shan. My coordinator had a plan B... THANK GOD! Shan never showed up. Shan had enough courtesy to call and say... Oh I though it was monday evening. Im sure she is a nice person but she did not do her job! Thankfully she ended up paying the gentleman who replaced her last minute! My wedding was only 30 mins behind schedule and the replacement did an EXCELLENT job!

  In response to this review I will say that this did happen and I feel terrible to this day that this couple did not receive my services on their wedding day. While I will not go into details disputing the number of attempts to contact each other, I will say that all of my notes had this wedding on a different day and when confirming, the date in my notes was the one confirmed.
  
  I am leaving this review here - having it removed is an option - because I will not hide from a mistake. What I will end with is that this has never happened before or since and I take great pride in working with couples, helping them celebrate their day with a personalized ceremony.
