Easy and professional

Mark was easy to get a hold of and extremely helpful and positive leading up to our big day. The photos turned out amazing, he really captured the joy of the wedding and the crazy fun we all had at the reception. I felt so comfortable with Mark, I didn't have to worry about him during the wedding and reception, I knew he was out there getting great shots!

Great, Flexible Photographer!

I loved working with Mark! In preparation for the day, Mark was super easy to talk to and work with. The authenticity and spirit of our wedding day is present in each photo. We could not be happier with our results. I literally have zero negative things to say about the whole experience. Book him!

Flower-farm wedding near Battle Creek

Mark was wonderful to work with. Lots of flexibility with our requests, and really captured the essence of my daughter’s beautiful yet fun and casual wedding. He was everywhere but not obtrusive and got amazing shots.. I would strongly recommend him to anyone!

Would highly recommend! Mark is a great guy! My husband and I felt very comfortable in front of him. He captured every moment. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to take our wedding photos.

Mark has an amazing eye and fantastic people skills

I would recommend Mark to anybody and everybody. His eye for detail and awareness of the environment meant we ended up with truly beautiful and unique pictures of the wedding, and he's a wonderful person to interact with, as well! He effectively corralled dozens of wandering family members for pictures, and got kids' attention in very effective ways. And the candids turned out excellently! Mark is amazing, and you will be very happy with your choice if you hire him.

Our daughter's wedding was in our orchard on 8/18/18. Mark was WONDERFUL! He arrived early and stayed late. He seemed to be having a wonderful time too! He was great with kids and I wholeheartedly recommend using Mark. What a wonderful experience and a wonderful wedding!

Mark did a really great job capturing my wedding ceremony. He was so professional and created a story out of my special day. I have 2 high active children that wouldn’t hold still for a picture so there were many candid photos of them and when he saw a picture perfect moment, he had the camera ready! I couldn’t have had a better person.

Look no further: Mark is your man. Not only did he accept our last-minute request (5 days), he clearly and calmly discussed what services he would provide, how he approaches his craft, what we could expect, etc. I immediately felt that he was a pro, and we left the worrying aside. On the day of the shoot, Mark led the way down the snowy path at Asylum Park, mid-January, with a smile on his face and an eye for capturing all the beauty we experienced. A cheerful positive guide, Mark's true talent is capturing those natural moments that are gone in the blink of an eye...so perfect and natural. His photos are AMAZING: gorgeously held, lit and framed. I cannot recommend this talented guy enough. He will make your special day unforgettable!

Fantastic photographer. He was great and super easy to work with. Very professional and made sure I got exactly what I wanted captured for my special day. I would highly recommend Mark! I am shocked at all the photos he got! He really captured my whole day and told the story. I am so pleased with the editing of our photos as well. I super appreciated all his hard work and his professionalism. Higher Mark for your wedding especially if you want that story book, candid shot feel, you won't be disappointed :)

Mark did an excellent job photographing a reception we had for my grandmother's 90th birthday. He was extremely easy to work with and he did an amazing job capturing the special moments from the evening as well as with the posed pictures (which wasn't easy --- big groups with lots of small children). He sent the photos to us very quickly as well. I highly recommend Mark!

We used Mark for our wedding this October and he was a serious highlight of the whole experience. We chose him because of his commitment to candid shots that truly capture the moment and he is seriously affordable compared to some others we looked at. He was flexible with scheduling and also did our engagement shots, he even stayed an extra half hour at the reception. I've received so many compliments on our wedding photos and I can't recommend him enough!

Mark was the most talented photographer we could have asked for our our wedding. His presence was incredible and his photos were definitely one of a kind. His journalistic style created photos that literally jumped off the page. He was incredibly professional and would hire him back for an event in a minute! We still receive comments about our wedding photos and their creativity, and the feeling of the day being so fully represented.
You will not be disappointed by Mark. I cant say enough good things about our experience with him as wedding photographer.

FINALLY getting to our pictures after our July wedding, even though Mark got them to us so quickly! The pictures were gorgeous, what immediately stood out is how well he could capture my friends and family's genuine expressions. Those shots really encompassed the emotions of the day and everyone's personalities. Mark has a great eye to catch those moments!
On the business side of things, he was extremely flexible, easy to reach, and services were reasonably priced. We also got to keep the pictures' rights, which was important to us. Really, we couldn't ask for more!

When I look through the pictures that Mark captured of our wedding day, I am filled with such emotion! As a bride ( or groom) your wedding day is so full, and you miss the commotion going on around you. Mark is a true artist, in the sense that he is a passionate, active and artistic observer. Mark caught moments that I would never have seen without him. He caught my parents stealing a kiss as our family bumbled around to take a family portrait,he caught my grandfather's huge, ecstatic smile, that I don't see so often anymore. He caught the emotion of my new sister's face, as she embraced me after the ceremony. Mark caught the most tender, quiet moments of that day, and also the most energetic and emotional.
Just about anyone can contrive a beautiful portrait, with preconceived poses that create a romantic image, but Mark creates his art by finding portraits that already exist, that occur as we live our lives. He searches moment by moment. His photos aren't manufactured, they aren't forced, and they are spectacular works of art by someone who truly celebrates photography and the art of suspending life in it's richest moments. My family and I will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives! How could we ever thank you enough, Mark?

Mark was the best photographer. He put in more than an 8 hour wedding day and captured so many moments of our day that we can cherish in his photography forever. He was easy to work with and made everything go smoothly on our wedding day with photography. Our group photos and well as in the moment shots are absolutely beautiful.

We would not hesitate to use Mark again and recommend him to anybody looking for somebody to capture all of the memories and emotions of their special day. We have spent countless hours looking through the thousands of pictures that he took at our wedding and reception, reliving all of moments that passed by all too quickly. Not only did Mark take amazing candid and staged photos of us and our guests, but he did so in a very professional and comfortable manner. It seemed as if he was part of the wedding rather than an outsider doing a job.

After the wedding, Mark was very efficient in editing photos and getting us the files. He was also very accommodating in working with us on our budget, which is always a plus.

Mark Bugnaski was the most professional photographer my wife and I encountered. How does one put into words how meaningful it was to capture that moment in our lives? Mark caught some of our friends and family as we know them; joyful with happy tears, engaged, etc.. Mark has the uncanny ability to be in the right spot to catch these sincere and real reactions. Our posed pictures were great as well, but the "natural' photos are the ones both my wife and I cherish the most. If there was a rating higher than 5/5 Mark Bugnaski deserves it!

Mark’s passion for photography is evident in every picture we received from our wedding ceremony and reception. He understood us as a couple and our individual personalities. Our pictures are in the moment, not staged. While showing our pictures to my family, they were in awe; literally speechless. He captured hidden moments, stolen glances, emotions and wedding bliss. His work is exceptional.

He created a personalized package just for us, promised to capture our wedding story and delivered brilliantly. If you want beautiful photos of your wedding, I cannot recommend Mark Bugnaski highly enough. He is a one-man photography machine! We loved the photojournalism style images of our ceremony and reception, and he captured beautiful shots of the big moments, the quiet moments, the behind the scenes moments, and every one of our guests enjoying a happy moment. Yes, we got some amazing portraits and posed shots, but when you hire Mark to photograph your wedding, you get photos that no one else can take. We could not believe some of the places he stood, sat, laid, and balanced to capture just the right shot.

My brothers and I all got married within a two-year span. My brothers both got married in the NY area, and even though their photographers cost significantly more than Mark, we all agreed that Mark's photos from our wedding were clearly the best ones. His work is world class, and he is a master at controlling the camera. Looking at our photos over 8 years after our wedding, we're reminded of all the little but great things about our wedding that we forgot because Mark was able to capture them so well.

Highly, highly, highly recommended.

Mark does amazing work! We hired him for our wedding in 2011. We had seen him work at another wedding and couldn't believe what he would do to get the perfect shot! He captures more than a photo, he captures a memory; the emotion of the day. If you are getting married this is the guy you want behind the camera. It's raw, it's real, and he doesn't miss a moment. He's everywhere and you never notice him! He has fast turn around and the edits are spectacular. He's quick to respond to emails and answers questions promptly. He was a blast to work with! One thing you don't want to skimp on is the photography.

What an amazing day! Mark was our wedding photographer for the hottest day of the summer and he was cool and calm. The pictures were amazing, and creative, and crisp. The best experience I've had with a professional photographer by far. He was great with my elderly grandparents and my kids and everyone in between. Communication in the days and weeks prior was easy and uncomplicated and on the day of the wedding everything went smoothly. I would recommend Mark Bugnaski Photography only if you want the best pictures ever!

Mark is ambitious but relaxed, has a calming effect but is everywhere you don't expect a camera to show up and he took far more pictures than we expected. I don't know how he did it! He captured everything we didn't see as we were busy getting dressed or greeting guests. Looking through the pictures is like jumping back in time because it keeps your memories alive. His various angles gives you even more to remember. There is no better way to invest your money than booking Mark Bugnaski for your wedding/celebration/engagement pictures.

Mark was AMAZING! He took so many pictures and even stayed later than we had discussed. He was fun to work with and every time I thought wow I would like a picture of that he was there. Mark is there to capture the feeling of the day, not just take the standard posed pictures. I highly recommend him!

Mark did a wonderful job, he showed up the night before the wedding and payed for his own room so he could make sure he made it to everything on time. We payed him for 5 hours at 1400$ and he shot way more than that because "He was there". He shoots a photo journalistic style with very few of the lined pictures which was exactly what we wanted. He has a great artistic sense and didn't do hardly any posing other than the things we asked for.

Mark did a fabulous job with our wedding photos- he truly captured the emotion of the entire day! All said and done, we have 2 dvds with over 1500 photos to treasure of our special day.
